CHRIST’S STANDARD OF BELIEF

Aside from the regular powerful prayer time that characterizes a typical SCOAN Sunday service, Sunday, December 13, 2015 was filled with testimonies, praises and biblical lessons that pointed to the urgency of man’s need to connect with God through repentance. Urging the congregants to pursue Christ’s pattern of doing things, Evangelist Anu, in her message tagged CHRIST’S STANDARD OF BELIEF, emphasized the need for all Christians to look beyond their present circumstances. This would enable them to attune to the frequency of unflinching faith in God’s assurance of a glorious future for them. She admonished all not to allow their present circumstances to mislead them and urged them to operate within Christ’s standard of belief, saying: “When you have Christ’s standard of belief, what you see, what you hear and what your circumstances look like cannot affect it…People of God, see beyond your present situation no matter how unpleasant it is. If your belief cannot see beyond the position you occupy now, how can you see beyond when you become a leader? If you cannot serve God as a follower, you will not be able to serve Him as a leader because that position will dictate your direction”.

MORNING WATER RETURNS DENIED PROMOTION

Mr Linus Azombire, a civil servant from Ghana, was never a happy man. He was frustrated because all his juniors inexplicably overtook him in the promotion hierarchy at his work place. For fifteen long years, he laboured in vain to see his promotion come true. Even when he was informed of a promotion, that glimmer of joy was short-lived as the promotion was revoked. He almost suffered a heart attack but for his caring wife who advised him to visit The SCOAN, the arena of liberty. Today, Mr Azombire heads an entire municipal in his professional civil service career. The new position has undoubtedly drowned all sad developments that shrouded his past in tears and anguish. To God alone be the glory, the man whose appointment as district Financial Officer was once revoked, now occupies a bigger position of grace and favour which can only be from God. He thanked God for his indescribable promotion and advised people all over the world to rely on God and eschew the wrong attitude of doubting His marvellous works through His servant, Prophet T.B. Joshua.

GHANA REVENUES AUTHORITY OFFICER GETS DOUBLE PROMOTION

For ten years, Mrs Agnes Gyadu, a Ghanaian working with the Ghana Revenues Authority (Customs Division), waited for her promotion in vain. Having served the organization for 27 years, it dawned on her that something was amiss with her quest to move up the career ladder. Bent on seeking the face of God concerning her situation, she ran down to The SCOAN in 2012, to tap from the ever-flowing anointing that breaks all yokes. Receiving prayers from the man of God, Mrs Gyadu also went back to Ghana with the Morning Water and Good Morning Stickers. As she went on her knees with those anointed materials amidst fervent prayers, her past was declared over by the Spirit of The Most High God. Within one month, she was sent on a promotion course.

By 2014, she had received two promotions with a courtesy car to ease her transportation challenges. Indeed, the disappointing barriers that kept God’s glory at bay in her life have been arrested by the power of the Holy Spirit present in the Morning Water. DOUBLE BLESSING BROUGHT BY MORNING WATER

They had visited many hospitals and had stocked their home with different herbs from traditional medicine practitioners, yet the problem of barrenness and infertility would not move an inch out of their lives. While her husband was diagnosed with low sperm count, she was told she had fibroids. Since 2005, the couple ran helter-skelter looking for a solution where there was actually none. Mr and Mrs Malasha Kayawe suffered untold pain and were socially aloof as they could not mix freely with people whom God had blessed with the fruit of the womb; they withdrew themselves from social interaction to avoid being mocked for their inability to bear a child.

Installing the mountain-moving channel, the couple gradually came to terms with the awe-inspiring exploits of the man of God, Prophet T.B. Joshua through the mighty name of Jesus Christ. The Zambian couple, having been convinced that the power of God is working through The SCOAN, took great encouragement from one of Prophet T.B. Joshua’s admonitions that ‘we should not focus on our problems but on God’s sufficiency’.

A friend who had visited The SCOAN gave them the Morning Water. After ministering the Morning Water in prayer, Mrs Kayawe soon noticed some changes in her body and was reluctantly prompted to visit the hospital. In spite of the ‘funny’ questions by the doctor, she was told her pregnancy test was positive. Kneeling down and thanking God for the miracle, Mrs Kayawe blessed the name of the Lord for putting a new song in her mouth. After nine months, the Kayawes were blessed with a baby girl, named Jemimah. Mr and Mrs Kayawe also thanked God for their promotions that came as bonuses to the gift of a bundle of joy. Clutching their amiable daughter before the congregation, the couple thanked God for bridging the gap in their lives and urged people to focus on God as only He can see them through all of life’s challenges.

CYBER CRIME AND CRIMINAL JUSTICE LECTURER RECEIVES DELIVERANCE FROM GOD

Stubborn and rebellious against the power of God, the twin demons of a strong man and a spirit wife had spoken through the man, vowing never to be defeated as an evangelist ministered the Morning Water on him. But they were all jesters, because there was no how the anointing that broke the yoke of the enemy could give in to the arrogant ranting of squatting evil spirits who have since been served quit notice and who have only come to steal, to kill and to destroy. Engineer Callistus Ezike, lecturer in Cyber Crime and Criminal Justice at the Kaduna State University, Nigeria, traced his problem to his ancestry. From his mother’s investigation, he had incarnated his grandfather who was a famous native doctor. As he grew up, he discovered a kola nut tree that consumed the soul of anyone who tried to cut it down. To his surprise, one of his distant uncles was opposed to the felling of that notorious kola nut tree. That uncle’s daughter, who was in her twenties, would later lure him to have sex with her when he was barely seven years old. Mr Ezike would go on to eat and have sex in his dreams from that day.

While working with former Intercontinental Bank (now Access Bank), he was framed by a lady who accused him of trying to have an affair with her over a challenge she had with her account. He eventually lost his job after that saga and opted for private business. His new business would later crash after a series of strange occurrences including encounters with two fighting birds and a snake creeping over his feet while in a hotel room. Even when he changed his hotel room, a strange light appeared to him. When he later became a lecturer, his life nosedived spiritually as he had affairs with married women and aborted a pregnancy for one of them. Through his mother’s best friend, he was initiated into fetish activities, including Indian temple worship and eventually joined the notorious Free Masons cult, where he was asked to become a lodge secretary.

Vowing never to abort or date married women again, he prevailed upon a friend’s girlfriend not to abort her pregnancy and took over responsibility of the pregnancy by introducing himself to her parents as the father of the unborn child. He would eventually marry the girl and father a child through her. When he decided to visit The SCOAN, the demonic torment became worse even to the extent that the Emmanuel TV channel in his house stopped showing. He decided to embark on a nine-day prayer and fasting programme. Visiting The SCOAN after the prayer and fasting session, he was delivered during the Morning Water ministration. Though the spirits that tormented his life tried to thwart his deliverance, the man of God, Prophet T.B. Joshua sent a message to the evangelist to step on one of his feet. As soon as that was done, the demon-possessed young man fell to the ground like an uprooted tree.

Thanking God for his deliverance, Mr Ezike expressed great joy in his new life devoid of the evil and detestable dream experiences of eating and having sex. He confessed the salvation of his once imprisoned soul and urged people to run to God in times of trouble.

FRACTURED SPINE MENDED THROUGH MORNING WATER

After 37 years of meritorious service to her country as a nurse, Mrs Alice Kafula retired into illness and could not really enjoy the freedom of a well-deserved retirement. Upon medical investigation, it was discovered she had degenerative bone disease that affected her spine and led to a neck-bone fracture that made walking a very huge challenge. Mrs Kafula resigned to taking different analgesics for 13 years without any improvement. Each passing day, the sad reality of having to live with the debilitating condition dawned on her. She would manage to walk, bending as if a two hundred kilogram bag of cement was strapped to her back. By that time, she looked tens of years above her real age.

Fed up with taking medication, Mrs Kafula jettisoned the idea of swallowing those tablets and decided to connect with God through Emmanuel TV on the prompting of her daughter. Watching Emmanuel TV soon proved to be the great spiritual boost she needed to build her faith. She eventually fell in love with the power of God on display at The SCOAN via Emmanuel TV. The plethora of testimonies that she watched on the channel cemented her faith in God and inspired her subsequent journey to Nigeria.

Sponsored by her daughter, Mrs Kafula came down to The SCOAN and vowed never to sleep until her situation was turned around by God. True to her decision, she received her healing at the Prayer Line after the man of God laid hands on her. Describing the experience with undiluted elation before the congregation, the Zambian national said she felt something like a thunderbolt as soon as the man of God touched her head. According to her, the relief that came after that experience was instant as she got on her feet and walked freely for the first time in 13 years.

Returning to Zambia with the Morning Water which she ministered incessantly, Mrs Kafula who had borrowed money from people settled all her debt and even got a job in retirement. Aside the pension she received, the new job paid her in dollars and continued to add more benefits to her life. Expressing her heart-felt gratitude to God for restoring her ailing health and giving her a job in the midst of retirement, Mrs Kafula sang praises to His name and urged people to stick to Jesus whenever they had problems.
