Always witnessing the exhibition of the glory of God, The SCOAN congregation were pleasantly surprised to see the documentary of the prophetic pilgrimage of Prophet T.B. Joshua to far-away Israel and Greece played to shore up the faith of believers. The man of God was received in Bethlehem – the birth place of our Lord Jesus Christ – by the Mayor, Mrs Vera Baboun. Mr Ayoob Kara, the Israeli Deputy Minister, Regional Cooperation also met with the man of God in Tel Aviv, the capital of Israel. Renowned disaster rescue organisation ZAKA’s Chairman, Rabbi Yehuda Meshi Zahav also honoured Prophet T.B. Joshua for his humanitarian work with an award.

The next leg of the prophet’s trip to the holy lands, took him to Greece, where he visited the site of the prison that harboured Paul and Silas in Philippi. Led by the Spirit of God, he prayed for viewers and nations all over the world. Using the biblical prison as a point of contact, he commanded every form of spiritual chain to be broken, in Jesus’ name and the testimonies have not stopped flooding in through different media about the forceful power of God that touched people’s lives through the prayer.

Meanwhile, in her message titled GOD CAN MAKE YOU FIT FOR IT, Evangelist Yetunde called on Christians not to undermine their capacity to do the great works of God, stressing that whenever God chooses a person for an assignment, no matter how huge it appears, He will make the person fit and equipped to carry out that assignment. Citing the case of Moses who stammered with speech and how God made him fit to lead the Israelites to the promised land, she observed, “When God called Moses in the burning bush for the assignment of leading the people of Israel out of Egypt, He made him fit for it. It is the Holy Spirit poured upon God’s servants that makes them fit for it.”  Concluding, she urged Christians not to allow the pleasures of the world to draw them away from God, adding that, “In His Word, we have His peace.”

YOKES OF UNTIMELY DEATH & POVERTY EXPOSED AND DEPOSED BY PROPHECY

Haunted by the yoke of untimely death in the family, Mr Ikechukwu Nwodo would not leave his life to chance. He knew pretty well that the cold hands of death were lurking around the corner, waiting to strike again. His parents and some older siblings had died inexplicably too early while his younger brother battled with bone cancer. It was his younger brother’s predicament that led him to the Arena of Liberty. He had consulted many spiritualists in search of help for his brother who was ailing away but found none until a woman introduced the Morning Water to them. After ministering the Morning Water to his ailing brother, the cancer started to heal gradually, prompting them to visit The SCOAN where Prophet T.B. Joshua prayed for his brother and gave him the Morning Water.

In no time, the cancer became totally healed as his brother continued to minister the Morning Water. For Mr Nwodo, his brother’s healing at the Arena of Liberty inspired in him a greater faith and belief that the yoke of death tormenting his family will be nailed to the grave finally if he visited The SCOAN. It was that belief that brought him to the church during a Sunday service. Seated in the auditorium, he was spotted by the man of God who was prophesying to the congregants. “At a little age, there was an initiation. You are wrestling with regret. Now you know Jesus. You know you need deliverance… You know they initiated you,” said Prophet T.B. Joshua as he laid hands on Mr Nwodo.

After his deliverance, an elated Mr Nwodo came to testify to the wondrous things God has done for him. While the yoke of untimely death and the spirit of poverty have since departed from his family, God has blessed him with material wealth. He has completed three different buildings after he was delivered by the man of God. He told congregants how the Word of prophecy changed his life and restored peace and joy to his family. “With God, all things are possible: we should not limit what God can do in our lives,” he advised people all over the world.

HOLY SPIRIT – THE BEST CARDIOLOGIST!

Mr and Mrs Pascal Mpoy had come face to face with a grim reality. Their little daughter Precious had been diagnosed with a hole in the heart and her doctor insisted she had to undergo an operation to correct the problem. It was even more disheartening for the parents to realise that a special device would be permanently inserted into the little girl’s heart. The South African couple rejected the option of an operation and sought the mercy of God. They brought her down to The SCOAN where she received the ministration of the Morning Water.

When they returned to their country, a series of tests were carried out on Precious to ascertain the condition of her heart. To the glory of God, all the tests carried out showed that the hole in her heart had disappeared. It was a miracle that perplexed even the doctors. Testifying to the awe-inspiring healing of their daughter, Mr and Mrs Mpoy thanked God for coming to their rescue. They left the following advice for people who may come across a similar challenge: “Life is full of challenges. If challenges come, stand strong in the name of Jesus.”

PROMOTION AND CAREER BREAKTHROUGH ATTAINED THROUGH THE ANOINTING

In spite of his illustrious academic qualifications, Mr Edmund Fianu got stuck on his way up the career ladder. Since the year 2000, he had been an Assistant Principal and was supposed to become a substantive Principle after three years. But in his case, the much desired promotion was not forthcoming and so, he remained stuck in the position of Assistant Principal for twelve years. In his desperate search for promotion, he visited many spiritualists who ended up confusing him the more. His wife would not fold her arms and watch her husband wallow in stagnation. She introduced him to Emmanuel TV and visited The SCOAN.

On her return to Ghana, Mrs Fianu gave her husband the Morning Water. As soon as Mr Fianu started ministering the Morning Water, he received an invitation to attend an interview for the position of Principal.

He has also been awarded a doctorate degree. Mr Edmund is also a proud owner of a six-bedroom flat and a fleet of five cars. Eventually evicted to the streets, life took another turn for the worst. They had nowhere to live, nowhere to go, nothing to eat and nothing to do. Mr Egesi struggled to hustle for their daily bread at an electronics market called Alaba International, at times, realising no more than 200 to 1000 naira at best for the day’s toil, not enough to give even him three square meals per day. His Indonesian wife and kids loitered around the streets in search of succour. Their 13-year-old son took to searching through dustbins to find anything he could sell. It was that search for help that brought them to The SCOAN late at night, crying and in distress. The SCOAN and Emmanuel TV Team accepted them into the church, gave them a sumptuous meal and a place to rest their heads. The accounts of the couple and their kids on the level of suffering they were facing was heart-rending. Mr Egesi himself broke down in tears as he narrated his ordeals at the unfriendly junction of a troubled world.

UNFAIR CASE DISMISSED

He was in a deep mess as his supposed spouse had accused him of kidnapping and sexually molesting her. As a Ugandan serving in the US Army, he knew that the American society does not treat such allegations lightly. Staff Sargent Ian James Musika had no other place to run to but The SCOAN. He knew that his job and career were on the line should he be found guilty of the offence he was accused of.

When he visited The SCOAN, he received the ministration of the Morning Water by evangelists and the demon that was behind his recurrent encounters with irresponsible women was cast out. Returning to the United States with the Morning Water, he had geared himself up for the litigation that was on concerning the allegations against him. As the matter came up for hearing, he went to the court armed with his Morning Water. Before stepping into the court room, he had ministered it in between the doors leading to the court room.

His accuser, on getting to the court, could not enter the court room. She continued fidgeting in an uncoordinated matter until the judge struck out the case after she decided to withdraw it. Mr Musika was thereafter discharged and acquitted. Shortly after that experience, he was promoted to his current rank to the glory of the Almighty God. “You should not run from God but run to God when facing challenging circumstances and have faith in Him,” he told congregants and people all over the world.

How he was able to weather the storm of shame and low self-esteem brought about by his inability to impregnate his first wife remains a case-study in patience. For twenty-three years, Mr Alabo Ayebaemi battled with the problem of low sperm count to the extent that his first wife ran away when she could no longer bear the social stigma that hung over their childless union. When all hopes of getting a medical solution crumbled, he decided to visit The SCOAN, where he received the Morning Water.

As he started ministering the Morning Water, he accompanied it with prayers. With his faith rising astronomically, he married another wife. True to his belief, within a short while of her coming into his house, the new wife became pregnant. Even though people around gossiped that he had brought in an already pregnant woman, he remained calm and instead continued to pray to God. After nine months, his new wife gave birth to a baby boy named Praise God.

As he testified to his healing and blessing with a baby boy in company of his wife, Mr Ayebaemi informed congregants that his wife is currently carrying another pregnancy – an infallible proof that his low sperm count has been completely healed after he ministered the Morning Water. The couple were unanimous in their advice to people all over the world: “Believe God and trust in Him! Don’t fight the battle yourself”.

DELIVERED FROM THE CLAWS OF PROSTITUTION

She had a noble ambition to further her education but that ambition fell prey to a wrong and destructive choice she made when she was only thirteen years-old. A deceiver dangled the offer of greener pastures overseas before her. Betrayed by her childish judgement, she could not decipher the danger that awaited her on the ill-fated journey. She abandoned her academic pursuits and travelled down to Cote D’Ivoire in company of nine other girls only to later realise that she was going into prostitution. It was even more dispiriting for her when she discovered that she would have to settle the woman who sponsored her trip to the country by ‘working very hard.’

Ms Nkechi would sleep with as many as thirty men in a day. In a matter of three months, she was able to settle her sponsor. For eight years, her family back home in Nigeria did not really know her whereabouts. Whenever she called them, she fed them with stories aimed at pacifying their anxieties over her veiled absence. On two occasions, she had been deported from Spain as she attempted to do the same thing in Europe.

After her aborted trip to Europe, she met a Nigerian who said he fell in love with her and immediately proposed marriage. As they professed love to each other, Nkechi became pregnant. Her elated lover brought her to Nigeria so she could know his family. Having been introduced to her lover’s family, she stayed with his mother in Delta where she put to bed a set of twins that tragically died afterwards. Broken and frustrated with no money to cater to her needs, she made efforts to return to Cote D’Ivoire. But all the money she had kept in her lover’s account went down the drain as she later discovered that he duped her of one million CFAs. Feeling that she had nowhere else to go, she returned to Cote D’Ivoire, went back into prostitution but surprisingly was deceived again and had another child by the same man. When the child named Blessing was one year-old, she returned to Nigeria.

Twelve wasted years later and with a child to cater for she was still caught in the trap of prostitution. The now single mother threatened her family with suicide or a return to Cote D’Ivoire. Her mother knew that the problem had spiritual undertones and advised her to seek deliverance at the Arena of Liberty. Nkechi hearkened to her mother’s advice and attended a special Monday prayer session at The SCOAN where she came under the influence of God’s power as Prophet T.B. Joshua laid hands on her. She manifested the demon that had made a mess of her life as the undiluted anointing of God pummelled it until it was cast out.

After her deliverance, Ms Nkechi told congregants that she is a new person. Her dreams have been very encouraging. She had even seen herself evangelising against prostitution in a dream the very day she was delivered by the man of God. A loud ovation from congregants greeted her confession of Christ. Her family members who accompanied her also thanked God for retrieving their lost sheep from the claws of a destructive demon called prostitution. “Young girls should hold on to God and believe that their present condition is not their final destination. Young girls should hold on to God and not be deceived by bad friends,” advised Nkechi.

I CAME TO THE SCOAN NEARLY DEAD

Mr Egbuehe Boyd Ikemekuna from Anambra state, Nigeria testified. He explained that in 2013 he felt sick and thought it was malaria. So he was treated for malaria but his health still deteriorated. His employers released him for further treatment. When he went to the hospital, he was diagnosed with hepatitis B and inflammed appendicitis. He became very lean and “looked like a walking skeleton” to the extent that hospitals started rejecting him and some health staff became afraid of his presence. Even some family members rejected him due to his deplorable health condition.

At a time, the doctors told him that all they could do was operate but there was a high risk that during the operation he could lose his life. All hope was lost and he thought his end was near. Distressed, he began to plan his early death through suicide. His pastor introduced him to Emmanuel TV and He started praying along with Prophet T.B. Joshua on Emmanuel TV. A voice started telling him there was hope. He said one day he prayed saying, “God, I have tried all this, now I want to try You”. After the prayer, he felt strength in his body and decided to travel to The SCOAN. At the prayer line, Prophet T.B. Joshua laid his hand on him and instantly, something left his body. He was further blessed with the Morning Water, which he continued to minister.

One week after his visit to The SCOAN, he went to the hospital for a checkup and was tested negative to hepatitis B. He was totally healed of both the hepatitis B and inflammed appendicitis. Mr Egbuehe advised all listening that, “Sickness is from the pit of hell, the only thing that attracts it is sin; Jesus is the cure. I came to The SCOAN nearly dead but now I’m alive, stronger than before”.

The SCOAN Sunday service of August 28, 2016 brought God’s children together to experience an outpouring of His grace and glory upon their lives. The words of exhortation and the songs of praise and worship blended together to provide a perfect platform for congregants to express their gratitude to God through testimonies and other acts of thanksgiving that inspire God to do more.

TESTIMONIES

DELIVERED FROM SPIRITUAL AND ANCESTRAL BONDAGE

She had been chosen by the gods as the sacrificial lamb to atone for the sins her forefathers had committed many years ago. According to the oracle, her great grandfather had slept with an outcast and had brought a curse of recurrent death upon the family. While in the Ivory Coast with her parents, who had gone there for fishing business, the Ghanaian baby girl the idol had chosen would have to leave her parents for a journey that would put her in bondage for life but for God’s intervention. Her parents could not kick against the decision of the gods and so, they had to let go of their infant daughter.

Baby Mary was eventually taken into a shrine where the Trokosi caste system was being practised. She became one of the wives of the priest, an old man capable of being her great grandfather. She suffered untold humiliation as she had to submit to public disgrace by being reduced to the nude with the hair on her head shaved as a mark of atonement for the misdeeds of her ancestors. After the degradation, she became one of the maidens whose role was to prepare charms for different people who patronised the shrine. The more charms she prepared, the more she was possessed by evil spirits.

When the priest eventually died, the young Mary was forced to undergo widowhood rites that spanned seven days without food and water. At a point the little girl collapsed due to her inability to cope with the tortuous ritual. By the time the widowhood rites were completed, life for Mary presented more challenges. Due to hunger and the lack of almost all the essential and psychological needs of life, she would occasionally sneak into town in search of crumbs from the streets. It was during one of such hunger-inspired journeys to town that she was spotted by an international news organisation which took interest in her case. After interrogating her and listening to her predicament, a financially costly arrangement was reached with the shrine authorities for Mary’s freedom.

Following her liberation, Mary went in search of her family but was rejected because they thought that having been used as a sacrificial lamb, she would bring a curse on them if they allowed her in. Alas! The young Mary’s life only knew a temporary relief after the liberation. With no other place to call home, coupled with the increased hardship she encountered on the streets, she had no other choice than to return to the Trokosi shrine. It was so pathetic a scenario that an 8-year-old girl would traverse the sands of this wicked world without parental care and guidance and yet mustered the courage to move on with her innocence at the receiving end of spiritual molestation.

Gathering fruits from the forests and selling them in town in order to fend for her little life tormented by a giant yoke, she once again came in contact with the international news organisation that had fostered her liberation from bondage. After explaining to them the reason for her return to the fetish enclave, the organisation decided to take up her welfare and education. At that stage, she had to start living with a concerned woman while a Non-Governmental Organisation sponsored her education up to the senior secondary school level.

After her secondary school education, securing and sustaining a job became a nightmare as evil spirits in the form of snakes kept tormenting her. She would dream of snakes entering her body from different points, making her unable to concentrate in the physical. As she battled with that spiritual torment, she became a toy in the hands of many men who took undue advantage of her situation to sleep with her only to abandon her eventually. Mary lived with eleven different persons and faced so much maltreatment and rejection because of the evil spirit that was inside her. The torment continued until she encountered Jesus in a rapture-like dream in which every other person around her was flying into the skies while she could not. Crying out to Jesus, she asked, “Lord why can’t I fly? Is it because of my sin?” According to her, Jesus promised to put a hedge around her that would prevent her from committing more sin.

Mary was directed to The SCOAN when she became terribly broken and shattered by the storms of life. A woman she described as a Good Samaritan had told her that the only person that can deliver her is Prophet T.B. Joshua. The same woman funded her trip to Nigeria. Mary was in the auditorium penultimate Sunday when the evangelists were ministering the Morning Water, in the name of Jesus. As they approached her, a powerful battle ensued. As soon as the Morning Water touched her, the evil spirits in her began to manifest, confessing how it had tormented her life in the form of two billion snakes. The battle lingered for a while as the evil spirit tried to be stubborn but could not withstand the power of God. It finally succumbed to the superior power of the Most High!

Revelling in the new dawn of her total liberation and deliverance, Mary who could not recall her real age due to parental disconnection, thanked God for using The SCOAN and Prophet T.B. Joshua to make her a normal person again. She was full of praise for the God of Prophet T.B. Joshua and has since surrendered her life to Christ and the things of God. She advised people all over the world to desist from sin in order to avoid the evil kingdom.

YOKE OF PROSTITUTION LIFTED BY THE HOLY SPIRIT

Born into poverty and without knowing her father, young Bahati grew up with her mother who eventually died when she was only nine years old. After her mother’s demise, the young Kenyan had to move in with her elder sister. Life was not easy but God sent help through a church which took up the education of indigent students. Young Bahati enrolled into school but could not come to terms with the strenuous demands of learning and so, she had no other choice than to drop out of school only to strike friendship with a random woman who introduced her into drinking alcoholic beverages. As she progressed in her alcoholic activities, her sister became fed up with her wayward life and ejected her.

Left with nowhere to put up, Bahati resorted to street hustling. She later met an armed robber lover with whom she would move in. But after sometime, troubles crept up. Her lover could not afford to pay his rent and was ejected, leaving them with no option than to move in with her lover’s armed robber friend. Knowing that they were living with men of the underworld, Bahati in connivance with the girlfriend of her husband’s friend, broke into the house and made away with the money the robber-lovers had stolen and kept in the house. While the police were after the robber-lovers, the latter were after their fleeing girlfriends who had absconded with the armed robbers’ loot. Relocating to Nairobi and embracing prostitution, Bahati had affairs with three different Japanese men. She had had a child for the first Japanese who was a married man but had deceived her. The second Japanese man, who accepted Bahati’s first child, took her to Japan but got the beating of his life. Their marriage ended in divorce, albeit they had a child together.

With two children from two failed unions, the Japanese government took up her welfare through strict social measures that made continuing her wayward life very difficult. As the adage goes by “nobody dares cage water”, Bahati found a way to sneak out to clubs where she sold her body to men and drank alcohol to her satisfaction, leaving her young children at home alone. Sometimes, when she returned from her ‘night duties’, she would break down in tears, wondering why she was living that horrible kind of life. Bahati would also get pregnant for an African neighbour whose wife had tried to lure her into idolatry.

Introduced to Emmanuel TV by a friend in Japan, Bahati built up her faith and decided to visit The SCOAN. Penultimate Sunday, she was delivered after the evangelists ministered the Morning Water on her. Though, the demon tormenting her life had tried to be unyielding to the power of God, it was however brought down like a pack of cards through the power of the Holy Spirit. During her testimony last Sunday, Bahati told congregants that all her unholy appetites are gone for good. According to her, the urge to go and meet men and the thirst for alcohol are gone even as she now enjoys quality time in the presence of God’s Word.

“Never give up on God,” she advised.

OUR BLESSINGS CAME IN THREE-FOLD

Dr and Mrs Sunny Odinye had been offered admission for doctoral and master’s programmes, respectively by a Chinese university in 2010. It was tough yet God was able to see them through. While Mrs Odinye rounded off her programme with distinction in 2012 her husband continued his programme which was supposed to take at least four years. He had visited The SCOAN in 2011 after deriving so much inspiration from watching Emmanuel TV. Before returning to China to finish his PhD in 2013, he had also visited The SCOAN where he received prayers and the Morning Water. As he continued to pray and minister the Morning Water, a miracle happened. The PhD which should have taken at least four years to complete, was awarded to him in less than three years. As the first Nigerian PhD holder in the Chinese Language, Sunny graduated with a distinction.

The university lecturers were also blessed financially as they continued to minister the Morning Water while also praying with Prophet T.B. Joshua. The building project which they had started in their village since 2010 was finally completed in 2013. They were also blessed with two very good cars, to the glory of God. Dr Odinye also testified to the healing of his father who had been diagnosed with kidney problem at the age of 77. According to him, even though his father had been placed on dialysis, they visited The SCOAN and received the Morning Water which was ministered to him. After one week, his father’s health was restored, ending his dependence on dialysis. Returning to the doctors for a confirmation test, it was discovered that his father’s kidneys were in good condition up to this moment.

Thanking God for the miracles and their attendant blessings, Dr Odinye reminded people all over the world that, “We are blessed to bless others.”

“GOD HEALED MY HUSBAND, MY FRIEND’S FATHER AND PROPHESIED TO ME THROUGH PROPHET T.B. JOSHUA”

Mrs Lydia Alshakro’s husband was suffering from a severe stomach pain that deprived him of food. For five years, doctors in America tried in vain to find a cure. But as a concerned wife, an Iraqi living in the United States who had encountered Emmanuel TV and fallen in love with the marvellous works of God through Prophet T.B. Joshua, Mrs Alshakro convinced her husband to visit The SCOAN in 2013. When he did, he received prayers from the man of God as well as the Morning Water and the Good Morning Stickers.

As soon as he returned to his base in the US, Mr Alshakro placed the Good Morning Sticker on his mirror and began to shave. Instantly, he felt God’s power all around him as he started shaking uncontrollably until the age-long stomach ache disappeared miraculously. Mrs Alshakro also testified to the confirmation of the man of God as a Spirit-filled Prophet of God after he had appeared to her in a dream after watching and praying with the prophet on Emmanuel TV. She also testified to a prophecy which the man of God gave her via a dream in her native Arabic language, telling her that she will preach in a strong church established on four pillars. She equally thanked God for using a drop of the Morning Water (which she sent) to heal her friend’s father who had throat cancer. “Prophet T.B. Joshua is giving us pure teaching and the corresponding power of the Holy Spirit,” she told people all over the world.

HUGE FIBROID DESTROYED LIKE THE PRISON DOOR OF PAUL AND SILAS

While the rebroadcast of Prophet T.B. Joshua’s prayer at the biblical Paul and Silas prison in Greece was going on penultimate Sunday, Miss Oseni Funmilayo, who had been experiencing severe menstrual pain due to fibroid, rushed to the restroom and passed out the huge tumour, which had been disturbing her for so long. According to her mother, Funmilayo was in the Sunday school class when the clip was played on Emmanuel TV.

Prophet T.B Joshua, while praying at the historical site, had commanded every aspect of viewers’ lives that were in bondage to be loosed in Jesus’ name. It is therefore exciting to see how the power of God came into action using the miraculous release of Paul and Silas to release the fibroid that was a thorn in the flesh of the young girl. Thanking God in company of her mother, Funmilayo advised congregants in the following words: “Have faith in God. All things are possible.”

EARTHQUAKE IN ITALY

During a Live Sunday service at The SCOAN, Prophet T.B. Joshua prophesied concerning an event that would strike the nation of Italy and trigger headlines. These were his words:

“In Jesus Christ’s name. I want every one of us to pray for this country, Italy. I don’t know what happened there. This is Italy. I don’t know but open your lips and pray for God’s protection in that country. Something happened there that caused headlines. For God’s protection – this is Italy. In Jesus Christ’s name, we pray.”

Just as Prophet T.B. Joshua prophesied, the catastrophe revealed in the prophetic message made the headlines across the world as the breaking news spread concerning the earthquake which hit Central Italy.

We want to encourage you in this difficult time that Jesus Christ is our Hope. Let us wait upon the Lord, trust in Him alone and we will be strong. Jesus has risen – therefore, in this time, let our minds rise and seek the things that are above so that we will be comforted under the present sorrow.

We pray that God will comfort and support the nation of Italy and the friends and family of all those affected in this disaster and that God will grant them the fortitude to bear the loss, in Jesus’ name.

The choir’s renditions created a hallowed atmosphere for collective worship from the auditorium to the several adjourning over-flows where the glory of God remained aglow as was seen on many smiling faces as congregants raised their hands in reverence to the Rose of Sharon. “Holy Lamb my Redeemer. Prince of Peace. There is no one else like you. You are everything to me…,” sang the choir. The SCOAN Sunday service of September 4, 2016 was another glorious platform for an uncommon encounter with God.

The high point of the service was the message of the day. Evangelist Evelyn Joshua in her message titled STANDING IN AWE OF GOD called on Christians to submit to the will of God by picking up their crosses to follow Christ. She urged them to divorce from their hearts all distractive feelings that would only stand in between them and God. “Anxiety and care about your feelings need to be rebuked because it is tantamount to unbelief which is sin. It brings about tension, fear and panic,” she added.

Concluding, she urged believers to live a Christ-like life – a life built around eternity, stressing that God knows our needs and challenges and would take care of them: “Let us live for eternity and we shall secure all that is available in it. God knows the challenges before us, so, He gave us enough grace for each trial we face. God knows our needs and will provide for them.”

TESTIMONIES

BATTERED BY LIFE, REVIVED BY LOVE

After his retrenchment as a medical practitioner in 2013, Dr Sunday Simon picked up the pieces of his shattered hopes and set up a chemist shop. In spite of his lofty professional qualifications, the no-bed-of-roses reality of life soon dawned on him as he sought a way out of his subsistent challenges. As a trained orthopaedic technologist who specialised in making artificial limbs, the Benue State of Nigeria indigene realised that life in retrenchment was a cumbersome experience; hence, aside from his chemist shop, he reached out individually to clients to see if he could raise enough money to bolster his financial status as a breadwinner.
While on a mission to procure raw materials for his work, he was involved in a motor accident along Jos road. He regained consciousness in a hospital and was informed by a nurse about the accident. It was an ironic twist of fate that a man who helped fabricate artificial limbs for amputees had become an amputee himself after that accident. Dr Simon could only shed tears as he watched himself without the ‘luxury’ of a full right limb. He somehow summoned the fortitude to bear what life had thrown at him by philosophising and consoling his inconsolable wife who could not come to terms with her husband’s unfortunate experience.

Leaving hospital, Dr Simon returned home only to face another amputation, albeit a psychological one. Some of his clients who had made advance payment for artificial limbs thronged his house asking for the limbs or a refund of their money. It was a huge embarrassment for a man who needed some rest after spending three weeks in hospital under a very traumatising atmosphere. In a bid to attract public sympathy and financial assistance, he had resorted to the media and was interviewed yet nothing tangible emanated from that angle. He was in a big fix; he had no money to settle his creditors and was also incapacitated to do any work. In the end, he was arrested by the police on the complaints of one of his clients and received the humiliation of his life.

Dr Simon was remanded in police cell while his terribly broken wife ran helter-skelter in search of a way out through his friends and associates who eventually reached a compromise with the police. He was given the grace of a month to settle his client or face further embarrassment. Fresh from the cruel world of a police cell, Dr Simon ran into another trouble. His landlord gave him a Quit Notice with a 30-day clause. Fed up with the unfriendly disposition of life towards his predicament coupled with begging family needs, he relocated to Lagos only to team up with beggars on the streets. At least, he was able to get food, money and clothing from kind-hearted Lagosians who considered the plight of the needy.

For the Benue State-born orthopaedic technologist, life on the streets of Lagos was not without its own sad days. Sometimes, government agencies threw spanners in the wheel of their begging progress. On a particular occasion, he was almost crushed to death after he was beaten blue-black by members of a government task force that prohibited street begging. Somehow, he had an encounter with a woman who shared gifts among beggars. The woman had interrogated him and discovered that he was neither a muslim nor a Nigerian northerner. She advised him to seek help from The SCOAN but in his heart, he had erroneously thought that it was easier for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle than for a poor beggar to see the man of God. ‘The Good Samaritan woman’, in a bid to ensure honesty and sincerity of purpose, videoed Dr Simon in the midst of beggars and forwarded the clips to The SCOAN. In no time, Dr Simon was invited to the ministry to tell the world the story of his life.

After listening to his emotion-laden story, Prophet T.B. Joshua and the Emmanuel TV Partners world-wide gave him and his family the sum of five hundred thousand naira with a firm promise to sort out their accommodation problem. All his children who had been out of school were offered scholarships with immediate effect. Dr Simon and his family shed tears of joy. Those tears spoke louder than words of thanksgiving. They captured the totality of their grateful hearts which had been strangulated by the anguish of an unfortunate destiny until God stepped in to assuage their pains through Prophet T.B. Joshua and the Emmanuel TV Partners.

DELIVERED FROM THE YOKE OF EARTH-EATING

Mrs Cecilia Mpofu was addicted to eating anthill soil and crushed stones. For her, they were like appetisers which had to be taken before she could eat any food. She liked them with passion. Her addiction to ‘earth’ was so much so that she kept some in tins inside her room. Sometimes, she would flare up in anger whenever her husband threw the ‘rubbish’ away. As long as she was concerned, nothing or no one could stand between her and her earthy delicacies. But gradually, the Zimbabwean living in South Africa began to realise that something was wrong with her. She traced the problem to a particular day in her past when she sat close to a site where bricks were being crushed.

Mrs Mpofu however visited The SCOAN in 2014 and was at the Prayer Line where she received deliverance. The man of God, Prophet T.B. Joshua, commanded the demon out of her after it had manifested its evil grip upon her life. After that day, her favourite snacks turned offensive to her taste. She has since stopped eating them and has realised that an evil spirit was behind the unhealthy habit. Not even the smell of dust could lure her into it anymore. Thanking God for her deliverance, she told congregants how the habit had caused fracas between her and her husband, stressing that she is now renewed.

SPIRIT OF WOMAN KNOCKED OUT

A friend had initiated her into woman to woman relationship in 2010 and since then, she had lost all feelings for the opposite sex. Mrs Emeson Bright welcomed and accepted only advances from fellow women and even dressed in masculine fashion. Matters got worse after her marriage. Her unsuspecting husband had been unaware of the affection she had for women. In her dreams, she was often harassed by a strange man who always wanted to have sex with her. Whenever she woke up from such dreams, she would feel pains and would have no affection for her husband.

The affection she had for women eventually came to an end after she visited The SCOAN two Sundays ago. During a special prayer session for worshippers by the man of God, the demon in her she manifested and the fire power of God located her. The battle was instant and very brief. There was no breathing space for the demon which confessed. “She is my friend… I wanted to marry her; she refused. I have not started with her. I visited her…,” it said. It was apparent from the demon’s uncoordinated speech that it was under heavy bombardment by the fire of the Holy Spirit. Taking authority in the mighty name of Jesus, Prophet T.B. Joshua commanded the demon out of her life and she was set free.

Returning to The SCOAN for her testimony in company of her husband, Mrs Bright explained to congregants how she frustrated her marriage with lack of affection for her husband. She also told them about the newness of spirit which she now enjoys. According to her, her dreams have changed for good even as she now cherishes her husband and feels so much affection for him. On his own part, her husband told congregants that he knew something was wrong with his wife all along. From his account, it was a friend who encouraged him to bring his wife to The SCOAN for deliverance. He thanked God for setting her free and restoring the warmth in their marriage. He advised people to run to Jesus as He is the final bus stop.

CHAIN OF SMOKING BROKEN. SPIRIT OF CULTISM BANISHED

Growing up for Mr Akpe Barnabas was tranquil. He had great charisma for the things of God and was an altar boy in the Roman Catholic Church. He was the kind of person you would call a good and easy-going boy. But the good side of him would eventually give way to turbulence. As soon as he got admission into a private university in Nigeria, things fell apart. Meeting with a set of guys who belonged to a cult group, he was influenced to embrace one of the campus confraternities – the Supreme Vikings Confraternity. The promise of power was the hook that pulled him in “like a fish doped out of the deep.” From the very moment he was initiated, his life became a playing ground for all sorts of bad spirits, ranging from substance abuse, incest, anger and stealing. The days of piety and innocence were over; the devil and his cohorts were having a field day.

Barnabas would sneak out of the university campus in company of his bad friends and go to clubs where drinking and smoking were the order of the day. Forming a league with other Vikings members from other universities, the young man though he was enjoying life to the brim. He had sworn to an oath to be with them forever and so it was till death do them part. And knowing that there would always be reasons for fighting and clashes with rival cult groups, Barnabas was a regular customer of native medicine men who provided him with the necessary fortification against bullets and other weapons. He had once tested his skin’s impenetrability with a cutlass and was glad the steel could not have its way. That gave him a super feeling about his capacity to go unscathed in the face of trouble.

He became arrogant, unnecessarily violent and troublesome to the extent that the school authorities placed him under close scrutiny until he fell out with them and was listed among those to be expelled. After his second semester examinations, he became a bad morsel in the throat of the school authorities and had to be vomited by force. He was expelled finally, having been a thorn in their flesh for two turbulent years. Back home, his parents were disappointed in him over his expulsion saga, even though they were not in the know about his cult involvement. Forgiving his boyish demeanours, his father intervened and secured his transfer to another private university where he had to start all over again from 100 Level.

When he resumed in his new school, he had tried to stay away from all cult engagements but Vikings members in his former school had already notified the members in his new school about his coming and so, they were on the look-out for him. As much as he tried to conceal his identity, he later let the cat out of the bag after Vikings had a clash with a rival cult group. He had to present himself to the Vikings confraternity in his new school. They fought dirty battles together and did many despicable things. Before Barnabas graduated from his new school, he had become the number-two-man in his confraternity.

After his graduation, Barnabas returned home only to be confronted with the stark reality of his younger brother’s smoking adventure. Even though he was already an expert in the habit of smoking, he did not like the fact that his younger brother was also toeing his line. He vented his anger on the lad who was only seventeen. It was the intervention of his mother that saved his younger brother from the beating of his life. Weeping together, mother and sons agreed to visit The SCOAN, knowing that the matter was beyond physical solution.

At The SCOAN in company of his brothers and parents, Barnabas received his deliverance when an evangelist ministered the Morning Water to him. The demon that had been responsible for all his wayward behaviours spoke out: “I am a Viking. I made him start smoking. He smokes Indian hemp and cocaine… I made him join a cult; he is a cultist. He’s a very brilliant boy. He takes drugs…” Commanding the demon out in the mighty name of Jesus, Barnabas’ back touched the auditorium ground and was set free. When he regained his senses, he burst into tears – an indication that he had been under the influence of an evil spirit all the while. His younger brother was also delivered from the spirit of smoking.

During his deliverance in company of his parents and siblings, Barnabas told congregants that smoking was a thing of the past. He thanked God for saving him from the legion of doom – smoking, cultism, anger and all other irresponsible acts. His younger brother also expressed his gratitude for his deliverance from the spirit of smoking while their father praised God for making him a happier man. According to him, but for their deliverance, he had regretted having the two boys as children due to their disgraceful behaviours. The entire family were unanimous with their submission that a new dawn of joy and peace had set in after the deliverance at the Arena of Liberty. Barnabas advised people all over the world in the following word: “Youths going into university, resist bad company and cults.”

DELIVERANCE WITHOUT LOVE IS A DISASTER

Ms Mary Nenyo was delivered from demonic slavery of the Trokosi caste system in Ghana two weeks ago. Last Sunday, she came to thank God for all he had used the man of God to do in her life. She had also been reunited with her family and now knows her real age. Mary is currently thirty years-old and is happy about it. Recounting how she spent all her life in an evil shrine worshipping a malevolent idol, she told congregants that she would start a new life in Christ. In line with the charitable disposition of The SCOAN, Emmanuel TV Partners and Prophet T.B. Joshua, Mary was given the sum of one thousand and five hundred US dollars to start a new life. Appreciating the gesture from the man of God and his ministry, she urged people all over the world to make Christ their most important life partner, stressing that He had paid the price for their sins two thousand years ago.

SPIRIT OF MAN DEFEATED BY THE SPIRIT OF GOD

Mrs Nwabudike was always at the receiving end of a demonic attack through her dreams. A giant man alongside wild animals always chased her in the dream. Her condition became delirious as she had to be taken to the hospital but doctors in their own human reasoning reckoned it was mere high fever. They even advised her husband to stock his house with milk and malt so that she could drink them whenever she was about to pass out. In spite of all their human efforts, there was no respite. Her condition became worse as the attacks intensified unabated. By this time, there was no iota of affection in their marriage. They slept like to worlds apart.

Through a friend’s advice, they visited The SCOAN two Sundays ago when Prophet T.B. Joshua’s trip to Greece, where he prayed at the Paul and Silas Prison was rebroadcast. After praying with the man of God, the couple received the Morning Water and returned home. After one of their midnight prayers, Mr Nwabudike ministered the Morning Water on his wife and received the shock of his life. She manifested the demon which even spoke through her, denying him as a husband and rejecting their little children who were crying for care.

The more Morning Water he ministered to her, the wilder she became, speaking gibberish and renouncing their marriage. Mr Nwabudike was fear-stricken as he ministered the Morning Water to his wife. He knew and heard it clearly that the strange man in his wife’s life was at work and so, he decided to video the whole scenario. A neighbour whom he had called to assist in the deliverance had ignorantly suggested that she be sedated to make the battle easier. But his thinking was a laughable idea in the midst of a serious matter. It was a battle that took a while to settle but in the end, the evil spirit succumbed to the power of God. After receiving enough bombardment from the Spirit of God, Mrs Nwabudike fell down – a sign that it was all over for the spirit-man.

During their testimony, Mr and Mrs Nwabudike gave detailed accounts of their ordeal in the hands of the spirit-man. Congregants were on the edge of their seats as Mr Nwabudike narrated his encounter with a very high sense of humour. Thanking God for the deliverance, Mrs Nwabudike left the following advice for people all over the world: “Anyone that is experiencing the same problem I once had should just trust in God for deliverance.”

MULTIPLE BREAKTHROUGHS/ HEALING AFTER DELIVERANCE

She had come to The SCOAN five years ago with the problems of inability to secure admission and irregular menstruation. However, contrary to her expectations, the man of God dropped a ‘bombshell’ concerning Mary’s life. Even her parents who came with her that day were shell-shocked to hear the man of God prophesy to their daughter. “This is a commitment, think very well. I said she has a commitment. This commitment has to do with a covenant…,” said the man of God. Turning to her mother, Prophet T.B. Joshua said, “Before you gave birth to this child, there is a place you went to. You went somewhere and they gave you something. She is a borrowed child.”

Reacting to the prophecy, Mary’s mother confessed that she had actually gone seeking for help from some idol worshippers who eventually made Mary’s conception possible. Corroborating the prophecy of the man of God, Mary was a borrowed child that would have been retrieved by her real owner had she not come to The SCOAN. After the prophecy that day, Mary was delivered by the man of God. Other children in the family were later delivered by the man of God.

Last Sunday, Mary came to testify to God’s goodness in her life. According to her, immediately after her deliverance years back, she got admission and has already graduated as at today. The problem of irregular menstruation had since been consigned to the dustbin of history. Mary was full of smiles and radiant joy as she told congregants how God had visited her family with His grace and favour. According to her, her parents are better off now as they have been favoured by God with breakthroughs.

Even her elder brother who had been searching for admission is now in school and doing great. According to Mary’s mother, ever since the multiple deliverance in their family, things have been very good to the extent that different schools offered admissions to each of her admission-seeking children. She also testified to her healing from cervical spondylosis after she had ministered the Morning Water. By the grace of God, she also owns a school and is doing very well in the educational sector. Thanking God for all He had done for the family, Mary and her parents urged people to have faith in God and draw closer to Him.

On April 16th 2016, the nation, Ecuador was hit by a colossal earthquake of magnitude 7.8. The severity of the disaster reverberated throughout the entire country, leaving at least 500 dead and 27,500 injured. Moved by the plight of Ecuadorians, T.B. Joshua –  Founder of Emmanuel TV – sent a relief team to Esmeraldas Province, Ecuador and dispatched a Boeing 727 Cargo Plane, which contained 20 tons of relief hygiene materials, perishable, and non-perishable food stuff.

Upon arrival, the relief and aid supplies were received by representatives of the Minister of Defense on behalf of the people ofEcuador. The Armed Forces of Ecuador loaded the aid into army trucks and transported to the Emmanuel TV Operations Center, situated close to Esmeraldas City. The supplies were offloaded, repackaged, and distributed to various shelter camps in the Esmeraldas Province.

The Emmanuel TV Team also extended its relief efforts to a remote village, Chachi de San Salvador, which had also been gravely affected by the quake in the areas of access to clean water and the destruction of its local school. In response to this particular community’s needs, the Team supplied the community with equipment that converts river and unclean water into potable water. The Team is also undergoing a school construction project – at a cost of US$262,000 – to rebuild the entire school complex that was destroyed. The reconstructed school will provide learning facilities for 350 students.

The people of Ecuador, as well as its Government, continue to express their gratitude for the Emmanuel TV Ecuador Relief efforts. A grateful beneficiary, from the Chachi community, said: “This is the first aid we have received from another country”. The relief efforts have aided over 5,000 Ecuadorians, totalling over half a million US Dollars.

The SCOAN Sunday service of September 11, 2016 was a memento of sort. While bringing together God’s people to worship and praise the name of their God, it heralded the commemoration of the transition to glory of the Martyrs of Faith who ascended to meet with their Creator on September 12, 2014 while on a spiritual pilgrimage. Kimmy Skota’s sonorous voice reverberated beyond the auditorium into the hearts of congregants as well as family members of the transited who came all the way from their countries to keep an appointment with God. Her delivery of the hymn HEAVEN IS OUR HOME reminded all that life on earth is indeed transitory. All power belongs to God and so, the family members and relations of the Martyrs of Faith have decided to submit to His will.

In her message titled OUR NEED FOR A MENTOR, Evangelist Kimmy drew the attention of Christians to the expediency of going through a mentor who plays the role of a guide and director in their lives. She however noted that, to enjoy the benefits of a mentor, we need to be sincere. She likened her concept of sincerity to the relationship between a new convert and our Lord Jesus who accepts repentant souls unconditionally: “If you are sincere, you will remember the first day you believed Jesus and the way He accepted you unconditionally.” With ample biblical exemplifications, she further demonstrated that the relationship between mentor and mentee should be unconditional just as Ruth and Naomi exhibited in the Bible.

According to her, sincerity wins it all, as any attempt at pretence will always lead to problems: “Pretence is the disease that causes people to fall down when they are climbing the ladder of success.” Using the story of her life as an example, Evangelist Kimmy noted that if not for the divine appointment she had with her mentor, Prophet T.B. Joshua, she would have lost out in the race of destiny, stressing that she was at the point of total annihilation when God sent His prophet to guide her to salvation.

In her conclusion, she left the following food for thought for Christian mentees all over the world: “You start to discover yourself when you know that where you are is the right place.”

TESTIMONIES

KIDNEY STONES CRUSHED BY THE HOLY SPIRIT

Tormented by excruciating pains in his stomach, Chief Peter Aka visited the hospital and was diagnosed with kidney stones. According to his doctors, he needed to undergo surgery so that the stones could be removed from his kidneys. The Nigerian octogenarian was taken aback when he was told that he had a 50-50 chance of surviving the operation due to the delicate nature of his internals. Worried, he resorted to prayers while almost resigning to fate. While asleep one night, he had a dream-like encounter with a voice which encouraged him to visit The SCOAN since he had been a fan of Prophet T.B. Joshua and Emmanuel TV.

As far as Chief Aka was concerned, Lagos was the next port of call. Communing with his children, he was financially supported to travel down to Lagos to visit The SCOAN. When he arrived at The SCOAN, he met a beehive of activities as visitors from different countries of the world had converged for prayers and counselling. After undergoing the necessary screening, Chief Aka joined the Prayer Line, where he received the anointed touch of the man of God, the Faith Bracelet, Morning Water and other evangelical items.

Since that day in December, 2014, Chief Aka has not had any of the symptoms of kidney stones anymore. Confirming through several scans, doctors declared him free from kidney stones. Chief Aka is now full of energy. According to him, he now does all those things he could not do before. Thanking God during his testimony, in company of one of his sons, Chief Peter Aka exhibited illimitable joy as he narrated his miraculous healing to congregants. He also advised people not to lose hope but to trust in God.

YOKE OF STAGNATION BROKEN

Stagnation had twined her life like a snake and had left her stuck in one position for years. The diminishing fortunes of her career had forced her to visit The SCOAN. Arriving at The SCOAN, the South African received prayers from the man of God and returned to her country. As soon as she resumed work, Miss Patiswa Mbongwana was promoted from the position of Senior Administration Officer to Assistant Director. Later on, she revisited The SCOAN and received the Morning Water which she continued to minister when she returned to South Africa. Miraculously, there came another promotion in her career.

For a young woman who once had serious career and financial challenges, life has suddenly beamed its smiles on her after her spiritual pilgrimage to The SCOAN. Aside from rebuilding her parents’ house, she has built her own and currently owns two exotic cars. During her testimony, Miss Mbongwana told congregants how she enrolled for a programme in Practical Labour Law at the Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University and graduated with a distinction. Currently, she has applied for a Master’s degree in the same course. Miss Mbongwana, expressing her gratitude to God for the blessings she has received, left the following advice for people all over the world: “Your prayers of yesteryears were not in vain. Just believe. Just have faith in God. God’s time is the best. If God can do it for me, definitely, He will surely do it for you.”

PROMOTION BEYOND EXPECTATION

Mr Jonathan Ogiku had visited The SCOAN two months ago to testify to his promotion to the position of Senior General Manager, Regional Head of Audit for Nigeria, West and Central Africa for his company. After his testimony that very day, the man of God counselled him to commit more time to God’s work because the Lord had lined up many more blessings for him. Mr Ogiku hearkened to the counsel of the man of God and always find time to volunteer his professional expertise in the ministry. He also received the Believer’s Card from Prophet T.B. Joshua. According to him, the day he received the Believer’s Card from the man of God, it sent him spinning like a whirlwind until he found himself on the floor. 

The events that followed thereafter are awe-inspiring. Just a few days later, the President and the Group Managing Director of his company invited him to a meeting where they confirmed him as Senior General Manager, Head of Audit for the whole Africa. Thanking God in the company of his wife, children and a family friend, Mr Ogiku marvelled at the greatness of the promotion. According to him, the promotion was beyond his imagination even though he knew that God could do anything. He advised people all over the world to channel their talents, intellect and abilities to promote the work of God.

DELAY IS NOT DENIAL WHEN GOD IS INVOLVED

Having practiced the legal profession for 23 years, Mrs Anthonia Odometa had always wanted to be a Judge. She had made several attempts in Lagos but was not considered. She cast the net of her ambition wider by refocusing her mind to Delta State. She made three more attempts and the third one paid off after she had ministered the Morning Water on the application. Suddenly, she received an SMS directing her to report at the Delta State Judicial Service Commission. Mrs Odometa was interviewed and offered an appointment. She is currently the President/Judge of a Customary Court in Delta State.

Now known as Honourable Mrs Anthonia Odometa, she has since been given an official residence by the Delta State Government. Testifying alongside her husband, Hon. Mrs Anthonia Odometa advised people all over the world in the following words: “Delay is not denial. Don’t give up”.

“MY PAST IS OVER THROUGH LOVE IN CHRIST”

Mr Godwin Sunday Udoh had lost his wife after they were brutally shot by a trigger-happy police man on September 16, 2015 while they were on their way back from church. He had spent several weeks at the Lagos University Teaching Hospital where he underwent surgery on his bullet-battered lower jaw. Some months back, he had come to The SCOAN in search of help as his wife’s corpse was ingloriously lying in the mortuary. After narrating his ordeal that fateful day, Prophet T.B. Joshua and the Emmanuel TV Partners gave him the sum of five million naira aside from the many individual donations sent in by church members from all over the world.

Last Sunday, Mr Udoh, who is now looking very graceful and happy, came to thank God for using the man of God and his ministry to bring about a great change in his life. Accompanied by his children, Mr Udoh praised God immensely for what He has done in his life. According to him, his wife had just been laid to rest and in line with the counsel of the man of God, he has forgotten about the past. Even his children who were emotionally broken have since resumed school. While praying God to continue to uplift Prophet T.B. Joshua, Emmanuel TV Partners and The SCOAN, he advised people all over the world thus: “No matter the situation you are experiencing, put your trust in the Lord.”

BREAKTHGROUGH PROPHESIED

When Mr Godfrey Nkala visited The SCOAN in while he was facing some health and financial challenges. Though he was working, he knew that his finances were not at the level they ought to be. His visit to The SCOAN was therefore a solution-seeking move. During a church service, Mr Nkala had been spotted by the man of God who was prophesying to the congregation. According to the man of God, he saw doors open for Mr Nkala. Soon after, Mr Nkala’s life started to manifest the fulfilment of the prophecy given to him by Prophet T.B. Joshua. 

He acquired plots of land to the extent that he got a huge financial compensation from a government corporation after they had used one of his lands for a power project. From the acquisition of landed properties, he went into large scale integrated farming, drawing inspiration from the counsel of the man of God to people all over the world to embrace farming as a way out of the global economic recession. Today, his life is transformed as he no longer lacks money. His health also has since come back to normal through the power of God. “We have a Prophet, we should listen to his words,” he urged congregants and people all over the world as he testified to God’s goodness in his life.

DELIVERED FROM DEMONIC MANIPULATION

Mrs Elmira’s life was ravaged by a demon that made her hyper-aggressive and always angry. Her case soon attracted the attention of loved ones who took her to so many places in search of solution but without success. Even her marriage was on the brink of collapse, as she would always want to have her own way at all cost; she never really took her husband’s views seriously and would vent her spleen over little matters. Though they were blessed financially, her attitude was a sore point in the union. She continued to wallow under the yoke of the wicked demon until it dawned on her that she really needed help, and urgently!

Unrelenting in their search for solution, they came across Emmanuel TV on YouTube and watched a couple of deliverance sessions presided over by Prophet T.B. Joshua. Convinced that God is using the man of God, they decided to visit The SCOAN. And last Sunday, while the Evangelists were ministering the Morning Water, Mrs Elmira became uneasy as they approached her. The demon that had been tormenting her spoke out. “I destroyed her marriage and will make her divorce. She will be unhappy until the end of her life… I want them to divorce. I have many powers; her mother and sister are unhappy; she will be unhappy all her life,” it said, among other sordid revelations. In spite of the resistance put up by the demon, it was cast out of the Kazakhstani woman as the anointing in the Morning Water brought her to the ground.

During her testimony, in company of her husband, Elmira told congregants how she lost consciousness immediately the Morning Water touched her. According to her, from that moment, she could not control herself until the Evangelist beckoned on her to get up from the ground. She thanked God for her deliverance and testified to her new-found freedom. She now loves her husband more than ever before and is always glued to the Word of God. No more anger. No more strife. “Believe in God and trust in Him; He will see you through,” she advised.

It was another moment to celebrate God’s majesty over all the earth during The SCOAN Sunday service of September 18, 2016. Congregants sang and danced along with the beautiful soul-lifting songs of the choir. Every minute echoed the glory of His name in the lives of His children who have not stopped praising Him, in spite of the harsh economic realities facing the world. The testimonies and prayers reassured Christians that, in Christ Jesus, there is hope everlasting.

Congregants went into sober reflection when Evangelist Frank delivered his message titled CHARACTER IS MORE IMPORTANT. According to him, “Only your character can testify to your confession of Christ, not your gift. A Christian’s life comes from Christ Himself. Jesus Christ is the Word of God and God’s Word reflects His character. Great men are those who mirror Jesus Christ because His character is the foundation of everything great. The problem today is that many are after gift but few are after character.” Continuing, he posited that, “As a Christian, you need to be humiliated. Prophet T.B. Joshua says that man will continue to hide his true character until his pride is injured. As a Christian, when you are humiliated by foolish things such as sickness, poverty, disrespect and the like, don’t think it strange and begin to act out of character – keep calm and be determined.”

Concluding, he left the following advice for those who think that their lives are irredeemable because of sin: “Broken things become useful in the hands of God. Following Jesus is not difficult once you realize that all He is asking from us is our goodness. Humans misjudge character because they value people by their gifts and outward appearance but the Lord values only the holy faith, fear, love and the fruit of the Spirit, which are planted in the heart – beyond any human discernment. This is why character is more important.”

SPIRIT HUSBAND, SPIRIT OF IDOL AND SPIRIT OF PROSTITUTION SENT PACKING

Like the proverbial grain of wheat that fell to the ground and withered in order to live anew, Miss Patience Irabor’s life was in the macabre grip of a spirit husband which thrived on the idolatrous pedigree of her family. Her father worshipped idols before he died and created a pathway for the dark world to later torment his daughter. As soon as she gained admission into the university, Patience threw caution to the winds. She embraced a notorious lifestyle that called for divine intervention. Rather than cling to her academic pursuits, she derived greater satisfaction from going to clubs and selling her body to men for money in company of her wayward allies. Together, they damned the consequences of their irresponsible lifestyle and cheered themselves with alcohol.

But unknown to the young woman from Edo State, Nigeria, she was being controlled by a wicked spirit that was bent on destroying her life. It had afflicted her with a wayward life and the spirit of anger so that nothing good and noble would come her way. Patience was not the only prey. Her elder sister was also a victim as she was in Malaysia working hard as a prostitute without anything tangible to show for all her hustles. Patience’s elder brother, a university graduate was also languishing on the highway of unemployment while their mother also had her own issues. As the wife of a late idolater, she had scores to settle with the dark world.

Coming to The SCOAN was at the instance of Patience’s Malaysia-based elder sister who confessed that she was tired of living an ungodly life over there. After several years of prostitution, she saw that all was vanity upon vanity and therefore, she had no choice but to encourage her sister and mother to seek deliverance at the Arena of Liberty. During penultimate Sunday service, Patience and her mother were in the church when the evangelists were ministering the Morning Water to congregants. As soon as the Morning Water was ministered to Patience, the spiritual husband in her started manifesting, confessing that it had made a mess of her life. Speaking through her, the contrary spirit boasted how it had afflicted her with the spirit of anger in a bid to ensure that nothing good ever comes out of her. Its resistance was too weak for the anointing in the Morning Water. Before a cock would swallow a grain of maize, the evil spirit was cast out of Patience as she landed with her back on the ground.

Patience’s mother who was jubilant for her daughter’s deliverance also received hers. After ministering the Morning Water to her mother, the spirit of an idol which possessed her started manifesting. And so, she also had to undergo deliverance through the Morning Water. As it was being ministered to her, the spirit continued to groan under the fire of the Holy Spirit until it was finally cast out in Jesus’ name. Both mother and daughter looked elated after the deliverance and were full of thanks to our Lord Jesus Christ. During their testimony last Sunday, Patience and her mother, in company of her other siblings, thanked God for their deliverance. They attested to the new-found peace that has taken over their lives. According to Patience, the lust after men is no more there. She is now totally free from the shackles of the devil and his messengers. Mother and daughter were unanimous in their advice to people all over the world: “Be prayerful so that God can deliver you,” they reckoned.

WHEN GOD’S LOVE IS ACTIVATED, HOPE IS RESTORED

Christie Pua and her husband Mr John Egesi were in The SCOAN some weeks back after they were rescued from the grip of poverty and homelessness. After roaming the streets of Lagos without food and shelter, they were received into The SCOAN and were provided with temporary accommodation while the man of God, Prophet T.B. Joshua and the Emmanuel TV Partners made arrangements for their upkeep and travel documents for Christie Pua and her two kids who have made it clear that they would prefer to return to Indonesia. The man of God and the Emmanuel TV Partners had also donated the sum of five hundred thousand naira to her husband to start life anew with the promise of a job.

The travel documents and air tickets for Mrs Pua and her two children were purchased for the value of 6,000,000 naira (approximately US$15,000), including a sum of US$3,000 cash gift for their upkeep. Their two children have been awarded scholarship in any school of their choice back in Indonesia. According to the family, since they were received into The SCOAN, they have been accorded great care by the ministry. Christie Pua thanked the evangelists, who she said, have been very inspiring with their words of encouragement and prayers. For Mr Egesi, he sees himself as a transformed person. “If you look at me now, I am like a bank manager,” he told congregants who exploded into joyous ovation.

While Christie Pua alongside her children is set to travel to Indonesia on Tuesday, September 20, 2016, she promised never to forsake the love between her and her husband. In a nutshell, the couple promised to be faithful to each other.

YOKES OF SMOKING, CRIMINALITY AND WAYWARDNESS BROKEN

Jeffery was eighteen years-old when he was inducted into the drug users’ club. He had visited a friend and had ordered for a plate of noodles. But while the plate of noodles was to be served, he had noticed some green vegetables on the meal. On interrogating his host, he was told it was normal vegetables used to garnish the sumptuous delicacy. However, after the meal, his senses took a flight. Somehow, he managed to come over that stupefying experience after he had administered an eye-drop to clear his bloodshot eyes.

He fell in love with that vegetable and subsequently discovered he could use it in different ways. He started experimenting with Indian Hemp and smoked it at will while in the university. His craving for the drug became habitual to the extent that he would spend his school fees on it and on other drugs. He formed a league of bad boys who also defrauded unsuspecting people through the internet. He also hobnobbed with cultists. He had no time for his studies but enjoyed partying, drinking and smoking his life away. He kept living the wayward life until he summoned courage to seek for help by himself. He had watched Emmanuel TV a couple of times and had seen the marvellous things God was doing in The SCOAN and so, he begged his aunty to bring him to the church.

During a Sunday service, as the evangelists were ministering the Morning Water, Jeffery could not withstand the fire of the Holy Spirit that had permeated the entire atmosphere. Immediately, the spirit that had been terrorising his life started manifesting. According to the spirit which spoke through him, “He is a star but the star belongs to me.” Jeffery’s aunty who was beside him during the deliverance confirmed how wayward and irresponsible he had been. According to her, he would spend his school fees on drinks and drugs and would lie to his parents. He also stole and sold his parents properties in order to finance his illicit desires. It was a straight knockout as the Holy Spirit sent the evil spirit to the pit of hell with a deadly blow as Jeffery found himself on the ground. By this time, the evil spirit was gone while a breath of fresh air in Christ came into his life.

Testifying in company of his family members, Jeffery regretted the life he lived in the past and how it ruined his educational pursuits and impacted negatively on his parents’ businesses. He however thanked God for his deliverance at The SCOAN. His father was also full of praise to God for rescuing an almost unrepentant child who had held sway as the bad boy of the family. Jeffery, who is now a totally changed person has regained the love and admiration of his father who advised parents to create time for their children rather than chase the material and ephemeral fancies of life.

The mood was gloriously ecstatic as the Word of God blended excellently with songs of praise and worship. The Evangelists demonstrated the power of God in the Morning Water medium as they ministered it to congregants, loosing chains of affliction and demonic manipulation. The outpouring of testimonies signalled the triumph of the children of God over the kingdom of darkness. The rebroadcast of the Peru Crusade with Prophet T.B. Joshua further proved that God is with the ministry. The mammoth crowd at the Monumental Stadium in Peru as well as the awe-inspiring miracles that took place, rekindled hope in the hopeless and brought salvation to those hungry and thirsty for righteousness through the great works of God.

One of the high points of The SCOAN Sunday service of September 25, 2016 was the delivery of the message by Evangelist Christopher, titled THE OBJECT OF MERCY. The message bordered on the inevitability of sin among men and the illimitable power of God to forgive. According to the evangelist, “Whether your sins are great or small, Jesus Christ has paid the price on the Cross of Calvary.” Speaking further, he assured Christians all over the world of God’s ability to transform their lives irrespective of their former sins. He cited the examples of Apostle Paul and Moses who had terrible pasts yet became great ambassadors of the Kingdom. “Moses was once a murderer but became a great deliverer. Saul who later became Paul was a state persecutor who murdered saints of God,” he said. In his conclusion, he assured Christians that there is hope for them in Christ Jesus, no matter their backgrounds.

FOREIGN SCHOLARSHIP SUCCESSFULLY COMPLETED

Augustine Famous and Kelvin Elabor had applied for scholarships to study Marine Engineering in the Philippines through the Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA).  After passing the requisite tests, they were faced with the hurdle of passing medical tests. They visited The SCOAN and received the Morning Water which they ministered to themselves before undergoing the various tests. At the end of it all, they were both granted scholarships and thereafter travelled to the Philippines.

While in the Philippines, two natural disasters – an earthquake and a typhoon wreaked havoc on some sections of the nation close to where the two brothers were residing. However, through the continued ministration of the Morning Water, Augustine and Kelvin were kept safe under God’s protection. Augustine and Kelvin ensured that they ministered the Morning Water anytime they were about to sit for their examinations. At the end of their studies, spanning three years, they qualified as Marine Engineers with multiple certifications.

During their testimony, the cadets thanked God for granting them success in their course of study. “Keep to your dreams and put God first,” he advised people all over the world, especially fellow cadets.

SEVERE DIABETES GONE!

For seven years, Mrs Silvia Ogidi was ravaged by diabetes. The illness made her to become very weak. She could hardly walk a far distance before she would start sweating profusely. She continued to battle with the illness until her business collapsed. Due to the severity of her condition, doctors told her children to keep a special watch over her. By this time, all starchy foods became banned in her feeding regimes. However, in spite of all the medical manoeuvres aimed at regulating her very high blood sugar level, there was no improvement, at all.

While she was receiving medical attention, she kept confessing that she would not die. According to her, the God of Prophet T.B. Joshua would heal her. After those confessions, she visited The SCOAN and received the Morning Water which she ministered. She would also minister it into her bathing water. She soon noticed that all those symptoms of diabetes had left her. In order to be sure, she visited her doctors. After undergoing some tests, she was told that her blood sugar level was back to its normal state. She was declared diabetes-free to the glory of God.

Thanking God for her healing, Mrs Ogidi told congregants that she now eats all those starchy foods that were hitherto banned in her feeding regimes. She advised people all over the world to have absolute trust in God and believe in Him.

MIRACULOUSLY SURVIVED FORTY-FIVE MINUTES UNDERWATER

Mr Momoh, an Inspector with the Marine arm of the Nigerian Police, was on a routine patrol of the waterways when the boat conveying him and other officers capsized, emptying all its occupants into the river. As a prayerful Christian, Mr Momoh would always minister the Morning Water whenever he wanted to leave for work and during one of his visits to The SCOAN, he had received the Faith Bracelet and Morning Sticker from the man of God. Incidentally, on the day of that unfortunate occurrence, he had both the Morning Water, Morning Sticker and Faith Bracelet in his pocket while in the belly of the river. For 45 minutes, professional rescue divers combed the river bed in search of him without success and at a point, presumed he was dead.

While all hope seemed lost for the searchers, a strange power pushed Mr Momoh out of the deep to the surface of the water and to the delight of rescuers and sympathisers who had formed a gathering at the scene of the incident. According to Mr Momoh, how he managed to survive under the water for 45 minutes without any supply of oxygen is still a mystery to all who witnessed the incident.

Mrs Momoh who accompanied her husband, also thanked God for saving his life. She told congregants that if not for God’s divine intervention, her husband would be dead by now. The couple alongside their children were full of joy and adoration for the great thing God did in their lives, as they testified last Sunday service. They left the following advice for people all over the world: “Always believe in God and have trust in Him because without Him, we are nothing.”

DELIVERED FROM SPIRIT OF WOMAN AND BLESSED WITH ACADEMIC SUCCESS

When she was nine years-old, she had a dream in which she was crowned a king in the river and was given a woman to marry as wife. Even though the innocence of childhood blurred her understanding of that dream, Miss Genevieve would later realise that there was something definitely amiss with her spiritual life. She grew up having many female friends while severing every relationship she had with her male friends, as she had been possessed with the spirit of woman. Her feelings for fellow women grew stronger with time.

While in the university in India, she had little time for her studies. She spent most of her time pursuing her womanish fancies. It later dawned on her that her academic performance was dwindling as she would spend hours online chatting with women who had the same spirit as her. In her third year, she dated a lady she had met online.

Through her mother’s devotion to the things of God, Genevieve’s deliverance would soon come to pass. In company of her younger sister who was also studying in India, Genevieve found herself at the Prayer Line of The SCOAN at the instance of their mother who knew that something was wrong with her daughters. As Genevieve would later reveal, her wayward life as an elder sister created the enabling environment for her younger sister, Henrietta, to team up with bad friends and started smoking and drinking. Though the two sisters were reluctant to come to The SCOAN, their mother had her way. As Prophet T.B. Joshua prayed for them, the Spirit of God took over their lives from the grip of the demons tormenting them and they were set free.

After their deliverance, Genevieve and Henrietta came back to The SCOAN to give glory to God for their new found freedom and academic success. While Genevieve went on to graduate with a First Class honours in Nursing Science, Henrietta also got her degree in Nursing Science. Both sisters are now new creations. To God be the Glory!

On Sunday, October 2, 2016, there was a splendid display of God’s power during The SCOAN Live Service. Aside from the inspiring testimonies, the choir was in its usual elements – providing the musical impetus for the Spirit-filled moments of praise and worship. The Mass Prayer session brought the kingdom of darkness to its knees as the fire of God was released at every demonic affliction, yoke and manipulation that had held the children of God hostage. In the end of the spiritual face-off, chains were loosed while age-long afflictions were brought to an end courtesy of the Holy Spirit, which worked in tandem with the Father and the Son to restore glory to God’s children.

In her message titled TRUSTING IN GOD, Evangelist Bose urged Christians to repose their total belief in God, even in the face of the worst of situations. According to her, in spite of the reality of the lion’s den, Daniel refused to give up his trust in the Most High God. He was not only saved from the lion’s, he was set up for a new level in life while his status and relationship with God attained different levels entirely. “He received the future he desired and not the future he feared,” she added.

Continuing, Evangelist Bose observed that the human character must undergo tests in order for it to be shaped for greater things ahead. But when these tests come in the form of humiliation or hardship, a good Christian must not repudiate his faith and focus in God: – “Remember as gold is tested by fire, so also the human character is tested in the furnace of humiliation.” Urging Christians to cling unto their faith in God rather than give in to fear, she concluded, leaving a huge and inspiring nugget: – “I am here to encourage you that you have a friend – the Holy Spirit – who will defeat fear for you today.”

YOKE OF BEDWETTING KNOCKED OUT

Sometime last year, Mrs Jane Godfrey had come to The SCOAN to testify to a miracle God had wrought in her life through the Morning Water. She had been applying for the American visa for ten years without success. That jinx was finally broken after she had visited the Arena of Liberty and received the Morning Water. According to her, after ministering the Morning Water in preparation for the visa interview, the entire process went miraculously smooth. At the end, she was awarded a visa to travel to the USA.

Getting to the USA, she was faced with a strange problem of bedwetting, after a dog had bitten her in a dream. It became a huge thorn in her flesh to the extent that she called her husband in Nigeria and solicited for prayers. On several occasions, she had to find ways to cover up the mess whenever she wet the bed in her elder sister’s house. She became scared of sleep because the spirit behind her predicament manipulated her through dreams. She usually wet the bed anytime she saw that evil dog in her dream. Sometimes, it happened whenever she felt pressed and needed to use the restroom.

While the shameful problem persisted, she came to an agreement with her husband that the only solution would be to pray with the man of God on Emmanuel TV and minister the Morning Water. Mrs Godfrey kept vigils praying with the man of God on Emmanuel TV while also ministering the Morning Water with uncommon devotion. One day, while asleep, the usual dream of feeling pressed reared its evil head but as she was about to bedwet, a hand woke her up. Waking up, she headed straight to the restroom. Since that day, the humiliating experience of bedwetting from the pit of hell, had left her.

Testifying before The SCOAN congregation, Mrs Jane Godfrey said the problem has stopped for one year now. She regretted all the embarrassment it had caused her, especially in her sister’s house where she had to cover up for the shameful occurrence. According to her, her business is now flourishing after she was delivered from the problem of bedwetting. “Children of God, wherever you are going, make sure you obtain the Morning Water. It is the body and blood of our Lord, Jesus Christ. It works wonders. Keep on praying. Watch and pray so that God will continue to dwell in you all the days of your lives in Jesus’ name,” she advised congregants and people all over the world.

STRANGE PAIN AND SKIN DISEASE RECEIVE RED CARD FROM HEAVEN

Last year, Mrs Lami Yakubu had dreamt that a building collapsed on her and her husband. After that dream, she started feeling pains all over her body. While she was trying to figure out the cause of the sudden pains, rashes took over her body. The combination of pains and rashes militated against her general wellbeing as it regulated her efficiency and rendered her almost unable to do any work or go out of the house. When it dawned on her and her husband that the problem was more than met the ordinary eyes, she decided to tackle it spiritually.

Coming down to The SCOAN and receiving the Morning Water, Mrs Yakubu ministered it on her entire body, believing God for instant healing. In a matter of days, all the rashes and pains disappeared. Testifying in company of her sister, the Ibadan-based indigene of Kaduna State, Nigeria, told congregants that she is now fit to do those things she could not do before. She advised people all over the world to make God’s Word the standard for their lives so that His blessings would remain permanent in their lives.

POTENTIAL AIRCRASH AVERTED BY THE ANOINTING

Mrs Sepha Ochieng and her Nigerian friend were travelling from Belgium to Nigeria through Amsterdam when their aircraft developed some fault mid-air. It was a very scary moment for the two friends and other passengers. As the aircraft swerved from left to right, they imagined the cold hands of death hovering in the air. However, they summoned courage and began to call on the God of Prophet T.B. Joshua to come to their rescue. While Mrs Ochieng, prayed and cried out aloud, insisting that she would not die before reaching The SCOAN, her Nigerian friend, Nnenna, brought out the Faith Bracelet she had borrowed from her husband, held it up and asked for God’s intervention.

In the midst of the ensuing commotion inside the plane coupled with the fervent prayers of the two friends, God hearkened to the cries of His children. Within five minutes, the turbulence that had held the flight hostage came to an end. According to Mrs Ochieng, a Kenyan living in Belgium and her Nigerian friend, that experience is something they would not wish even their enemies. Thanking God for miraculously rescuing them from a potential plane crash, they advised people all over the world to hold on to God and always pray before they board flights.

DELIVERED FROM THE YOKES OF ALCOHOLISM, SMOKING AND NIGHT-CRAWLING

For seventeen years, Mr Edafe Unoho was hooked on alcohol and cigarette smoking. Then, he would drink himself to a stupor and chase prostitutes just to satisfy his fleshly desires. The more he drank, smoked and frolicked with women of easy virtue, the more his family suffered neglect as he could not cater adequately to their needs. His earnings suffered a major blow as they went down the drains. There were also times when he would drink on credit only to sell some of his properties to pay the bills. The sad story continued until it dawned on him that something was wrong with his life. At that point, he became sober and started asking God for help.

The man from Delta State, Nigeria, had been to many churches but the more they tried to deliver him, the more beer he drank. Though, he had always heard about The SCOAN and Emmanuel TV  his ‘fellow drunkards’ discouraged him from seeking help at the Arena of Liberty, claiming that the man of God was a ritualist. As his drinking malaise continued, his life witnessed so many sad moments. He had lost a couple of teeth after drinking and falling into a gutter. He also had scars all over his body as a result of unwarranted violence caused by over-indulgence with alcohol.

One night, after he had gotten himself drunk and had lodged into an hotel with a prostitute, policemen busted the area and dragged him out almost naked in an area famed for its notoriety in crime and all sorts of illicit affairs. For four days, he slept in the police cell without food. That experience humbled him to his knees as he called on God to help him out, promising to serve Him all the days of his life. When he left the police cell, his yearning for God started growing as he watched Emmanuel TV. He also visited The SCOAN and received the Morning Water which he ministered amidst prayers. He eventually dreamt about his deliverance by the man of God and since then, his life has changed for the better. He no longer thinks or talks about alcohol, smoking and women. Today, he is a happy man with huge savings. He has also established a business for his wife and has bought a car for himself.

Turning himself into an instant evangelist for the Kingdom of God, Mr Unoho received another Morning Water, armed himself with the Good Morning Stickers and headed to his village where his mother was ailing away and could not walk. Believing that he would deliver her, he prayed to God for guidance and set into action as soon as he landed in his village. Ministering the Morning Water on his mother and commanding the spirit behind her ailment, Mr Unoho was able to deliver her and put her back on her feet, after the spirit tormenting her had revealed all the destruction it had wrought in her life. Refilling the Morning Water bottles with ordinary water, he had faith that the anointing in the bottles would bring about more miracles. Mr Unoho also delivered his younger sister from a 35- year-old demonic affliction.

During his testimony in company of his younger sister, he thanked God for using him to bring deliverance to members of his family. While narrating her encounter with her brother during the deliverance, his sister confessed that she saw fire around him as he approached her prior to the deliverance. She advised people all over the world to give their lives to Christ

SICKNESS-CAUSING DEMONS EXPELLED BY THE FIRE OF THE HOLY GHOST

Mrs Petra Otee had been under the influence of ancestral spirits right from her childhood. The Ugandan resident in the USA could not decipher the origin of the problem but knew pretty well that something was amiss with her. In 2015, while on a trip to her native Uganda, she experienced a strange occurrence. Waking up from sleep one day, she could no longer walk, see or hear. After local efforts to treat her failed, her sister decided that she be flown back to the USA. Landing in the USA, she was moved from the airport to the hospital where she spent two weeks without any sign of improvement.

The doctors in the USA sent her home, urging her to cope with the situation as they had exhausted all medical options and still could not understand what her problem was. Back home, she still couldn’t walk, see or hear. The problem jeopardised her role in her church choir. All the subsequent tests, apart from the hearing test, showed that nothing was wrong with her. She had considered the option of surgery but her friend came up with a different idea. Showing her clips of Emmanuel TV, her friend persuaded her to exploit the spiritual option ahead of all others. As she watched Emmanuel TV, she realised that she too needed deliverance urgently.

While those problems persisted, Mrs Otee’s job was severely threatened even as she had to part with a lot of money owing to the several appointments she had with specialists. Surviving three accidents at the same spot further reinforced her suspicion that there was a spiritual battle to fight and for that, she became more and more attracted to Emmanuel TV. She was allergic to noise and had to make do with headphones, without which she would get dizzy and collapse. She moved about with different medical support tools coupled with a cocktail of pharmaceuticals.

Visiting The SCOAN brought her face to face with the power of God. During a Sunday service, she received the ministration of the Morning Water from the Evangelists and the demons that had been tormenting her life manifested. Among other sordid revelations, the demons confessed how they had vowed to kill her after inflicting different illnesses on her and destroying her career as a US government employee. During her deliverance, the Morning Water was too hot for the demons who were cast out of her life as she fell to the ground. Rising to her feet, she thanked God for her freedom from the throes of evil. During her testimony in company of a friend, she expressed gratitude to God for putting an end to the agonies that had almost rendered her useless. “Many do not believe in deliverance. God still saves and heals,” Mrs Otee reminded congregants and people all over the world.

“SPIRIT WIFE, YOUR REIGN IS OVER!”

In the physical, he found it very difficult to accomplish any task successfully but in the spiritual realm, he was a wealthy young man controlling a lot of things, including countless women whom he slept with. Mr Daniel Ezeissi’s problems started after he had an encounter with a so-called priest who turned out to be a man-monger. The spiritualist had made advances at him on the very first appointment they had. Though he turned down those advances, he would eventually succumb after he had a strange dream in which he found himself surrounded by some people who were making merry in an island-like locale.

The relationship between him and the spiritualist lingered for some time until he later relocated to Ghana to join his elder brother at the expense of his education. In Ghana, he also found one of his kind and they started a relationship that would soon graduate into an almost irredeemable tango. The more he slept with men, the more favours he got in kind, albeit his soul was ablaze in the great conflagration called hellfire.

Daniel’s problems bore other kindred fruits. He delved into drinking and smoking at the expense of his scholastic endeavours. His irresponsible focus soon degenerated into cultism to the extent that he purchased a pistol in order to fortify himself for any form of impending violence. During his cult initiation which spanned seven hours of ruthless beating, he felt no pain even when other initiates had passed out. He was nicknamed Field Marshal Idi Amin Dada for his heartlessness akin to that of the late Ugandan dictator. Back in Ghana, whenever his brother was watching Emmanuel TV, he would feel very uncomfortable. A strange heat usually came over him and forced him out of the house. According to him, his feeling of discomfort was more when The SCOAN Mass Prayer was being broadcast.

Strong-willed and unyielding to good counsel, Daniel continued to mess himself around until he met a banker friend who talked him into going back to school. When he eventually started school in Nigeria, he embraced substance abuse and flocked with bad boys and prostitutes whose activities kindled the fire of his wayward life. sometimes, Daniel used webcams to disguise as a woman in order to attract and scam men through the internet.

Dropping out of school after a bloody inter-cult war, he had relocated to Lagos in search of a job but ended up in the Arena of Liberty where the raging fire of the Holy Spirit refined him. During the Mass Prayer in the previous Sunday service, the Holy Spirit purged his life of the spiritual wife that had been tormenting him. According to the evil spirit which spoke through him, he was doomed to be destroyed and made useless. But God would not permit such an evil design. Daniel received his deliverance and ever since then, his life has retrieved its stolen glory from the pit of hades.

During his testimony last Sunday in company of his mother, Daniel narrated his escapades with bad boys while he was under the influence of the spirit wife. Regretting all he had done, he wept as he realised that the evil spirit had almost destroyed his life but for God’s intervention through the Arena of Liberty. He urged young people brought up in Christian homes to always open up to their parents whenever they had issues.

CHANGED FOREVER
Mr Adries J Coetzee from South Africa was full of tears of joy as he came to testify with his fiancée and child about how God delivered him through the medium of the Morning Water. Mr Coetzee used to drink, smoke cigarettes and take drugs for over 23 years since the age of 15. This caused him to be very aggressive at work and to those close to him, even to the point that he would commit violent acts with knives. His body is marked with all kinds of different scars from violent acts that he used to commit while drunk and high with hard drugs. He tried many times to find a solution to his bad habits but found none. He never had the desire to go to church or pray, but he discovered Emmanuel TV on his television and as he began watching, it made him realise that he needed to change. When he explained to his fiancée that he wanted to change his life, they decided to get the Morning Water they had seen many testify about. A friend of theirs gave them the Morning Water and a DVD of Prophet T.B Joshua’s teaching. They began to watch the DVD from The SCOAN and pray with the Morning Water. Immediately, Mr Coetzee’s body began to severely itch for over 45 minutes. He continued praying until the itching finally stopped. He then went out to his porch to smoke a cigarette as he usually did but to his surprise, it did not taste like before. He immediately threw the cigarette away and from that point, he has been free from smoking, drinking and doing drugs for the past two months. Thank You, Jesus!

The SCOAN Live Sunday Service of October 9, 2016 had all the aspects of a Spirit-filled event. The calmness and confidence exhibited by worshippers signified the intensity of their faith in God and His ability to tackle whatever cares they brought before His mighty presence. The musical interludes from the choir added flavour to the occasion and the words of exhortation in Evangelist Bolaji’s message provoked visible introspection amongst congregants. Titled DIVINE APPOINTMENT,

the message centred on the vicissitudes of Christian life which in itself has never been a bed of roses right from the days of Abraham. According to Evangelist Bolaji, though we have perfect expectations as Christians, we must not lose faith and courage when such expectations hit the rocks of uncertainty, trials and temptations. “Even the seeming perfect plan we make for the future usually encounters some accident that makes it seem as if we never made any plans at all,” she said.

She admonished Christians not to entertain the mind-set that God does not love them whenever they are experiencing a trial of their faith, adding that, “It is the mind of God to answer prayer. God is still saying something which you may not understand because of your limitation in the things of the Spirit”. Making several biblical analogies, Evangelist Bolaji reminded Christians that God does not make mistakes in His timing. He knows everything and will always do things in His own time. Using the story of Peter and his fishing misadventure as an example, she told congregants that an encounter with Jesus would turn their disappointment to a divine appointment just as it did for Peter who made a remarkable catch after he met the Master and went ahead to become a fisher of men.

DRINKING AND SMOKING HABITS ABOLISHED THROUGH WATER

Sent to England to pursue her university education, Miss Titilola Labode got side tracked from her ultimate goal. She developed the addictive habits of cigarette smoking and binge drinking. Every day, she consumed at least twenty sticks of cigarettes coupled with wine. When she began to run out of money due to her bad habits, she decided to take up a part-time job, against the wish of her parents. As an act parental love, her father gave her his credit card, thinking he was helping a deserving daughter. Little did he know that his money would be squandered on her addictions. As fa as the Nigerian-Zimbabwean was concerned, there was no going back on her habits, more so, because she had friends of like mind who also shared in the same destructive life-style.

After her studies in England, her parents begged her to return to Zimbabwe. Back home, she continued drinking herself to a stupor. Sometimes, she would get drunk and start vomiting in public. There was a very sorry occasion on which she got drunk and crawled in the company of dogs to the entrance of her parents’ house. According to Titilola, while she was enmeshed in those habits, her dream life was typically nightmarish. She dreamt of snakes, scorpions and all sorts of vermin. There were instances when she dreamt of having sexual intercourse with strange people. Above all, her health was in tatters as excess alcohol and cigarette-smoking took their toll.

Titilola’s mother, a prominent member of the Zimbabwean Parliament, had illustrious intentions for her beloved daughter and would not fold her arms while the deceptive desires of the world continued to grow like weeds in her life. The best thing she would do for her was to bring her to The SCOAN for deliverance, knowing that stopping those habits were beyond human effort. Titilola was brought to The SCOAN where Prophet T.B. Joshua prayed for her and she was delivered of those bad habits. Her deliverance was immediate and almost effortless – a proof of God’s omnipotence. Describing the experience, Titilola said she felt an electric activity all over her as the man of God pointed towards her. “Even without touching me, I found myself on the ground, thinking that somebody had pushed me from behind but after watching the video, I discovered there was nobody behind me,” she added.

Testifying in company of her mother, Titilola told congregants how her life changed for the better after her deliverance. According to her, shortly after she was delivered, she found herself in a dream trying to smoke a cigarette but Prophet T.B. Joshua collected the cigarette and destroyed it. She woke up and found that the urge to smoke and drink alcohol and completely left her. While her mother urged parents to pay more attention to the spiritual development of their children beyond the provision of material things, Titilola advised youths to surround themselves with godly people, study the Bible and listen to their parents.

INTERNATIONAL HUMILIATION REVERSED, VISA GRANTED THROUGH PROPHETIC WORD

Struggling to obtain a residence permit in the UK, Mr Joseph Imarhiagbe began to mingle with bad friends driven by the inordinate ambition to get rich quickly and at all costs. To his greatest disappointment, Mr Imarhiagbe was arrested and deported from the United Kingdom for being in the country without a residence permit.

Back home to face the harsh realities of life back in Nigeria, Mr Imarhiagbe realised that it would take at least ten years before becoming eligible to apply for another visa to the country. All hope of ever establishing a home for his family in the UK was gone, until he came across Emmanuel TV via YouTube. Encouraged by a France-based family friend to visit the Arena of Liberty where the abundance of God’s marvellous works speaks louder than words, he visited in April, 2016 and came face to face with God’s prophetic insight into his life through Prophet T.B. Joshua. The man of God revealed many things about him, including his imminent appointment at the UK embassy.  After receiving an anointed touch of God through the Prophet, he was brought to the ground by a force from Heaven. In confirmation of the prophecy, two weeks after visiting The SCOAN, Mr Imarhiagbe was granted a European Family Member Residence Permit to return to the United Kingdom.

On his way back to the UK, he was erroneously arrested at the Heathrow airport in London for being in possession of an impersonated passport. While he was being interrogated by the UK border agency officials, he ministered the Morning Water, asking for God’s divine intervention. Ten minutes later, the UK border agency officials apologised to him on behalf of their agency and allowed him unhindered entry into the country. Testifying in company of his wife, Mr Imarhiagbe told congregants that Jesus has taken control of his life. According to him, the peace of mind and progress that have come into his life are incomparable to the anguish and frustration that he had experienced after his deportation. “Don’t run to friends; run to Jesus,” he advised congregants and people, the world over.

Musical exclamations from the choir echoed all around the auditorium. Congregants from different nations of the world expressed their joy in ways beyond description. They exuded divine confidence as Evangelist Racine stepped in to nourish their minds with the Word of God in a message titled GOD’S AGENDA. According to him, “We have no control over what becomes of us the next day.” He contended that anyone can be a leader but only God chooses a leader with a difference. He also submitted that God’s agenda supersedes all others and is not defined by man’s level of skill or wisdom. It is only God’s will that guarantees success in life. “Wisdom in the practical sense of ability and skill cannot guarantee success in life.  Many would think that men of great understanding who are masters in the field of management would certainly become people of substance,” he added, reminding congregants that no one can succeed without God.

Continuing, Evangelist Racine observed that, “To every man, God has assigned a purpose.”  Quoting Prophet T.B. Joshua, he said, “What God Has designed you to achieve in His master plan determines your divine cause and course. The cause means what you are living for and are going to die for.”  He added that Christians would only succeed when they include God in the affairs of their life, arguing that the brave do not always win the battle just as fast runners do not always win the race.

Concluding, he urged Christians to live a life of purpose because we serve a God of purpose. “It is the will of God for us to prosper in every area of our lives – spirit, soul and body,” he added. He left the following prayerful declaration for congregants to ponder over: “The time has come for me to enlarge my spiritual coasts because I serve a God of purpose.”

FROM DOUBTING THOMAS TO LIVING WITNESS WITH A PhD MADE IN HEAVEN

Having been brought up by her mother after the death of her father, she was able to obtain a bachelor’s degree in law. After obtaining the degree, everything she tried to do met with failure to the extent that she had to move from one church to another in search of a solution. Her efforts to secure a post-graduate admission in Nigerian and foreign universities hit the brick wall for the umpteenth time. For Queen Agbaji, there was no consolation unless God intervened. She often cried unto God and appealed for His divine direction, urging Him to remember that He is father to the fatherless.

One night, she had dreamt of visiting The SCOAN but on waking, she became confused, owing to her skeptical disposition towards Prophet T.B. Joshua and his ministry. However, the more she asked for divine direction, the more she dreamt of the man of God and his ministry. Her cynicism about Prophet T.B. Joshua was so intense that she would give up her meal in a restaurant just because she beheld a portrait of the man of God there.

Queen would however succumb to the prompting of the Holy Spirit after a concerned Muslim acquaintance had asked her why she didn’t want to visit The SCOAN in the face of all her struggles. At that juncture, it dawned on her that there was something deeper about the T.B. Joshua dream encounters than met the ordinary eyes. By the grace of God, a friend was able to pay her way down to The SCOAN. After receiving the Morning Water from The SCOAN, Queen’s life was overtaken by a windfall of favours. Even two universities in the USA which had turned down her post-graduate applications contacted her to reapply.

Against her expectations, her post-graduate application, though incomplete, was accepted by a university in the USA. That university eventually granted her a scholarship worth $20,000 USD (out of the total package of $26,000 USD) after she had visited The SCOAN where she received a prophetic word from the man of God. Prophet T.B. Joshua had told her, “There will be a meeting and in that meeting there will be a breakthrough.”  She would later realise that the prophetic declaration actually captured the eventual decision of the school’s scholarship board to fund her studies. As she contemplated on how to fund the remaining six thousand dollars on her scholarship, God provided $15,000 USD through a case she handled. The money from that case was enough to cover the deficit and her accommodation.

At the embassy of the USA, it was another herculean task as her documents were incomplete. She had to change interview dates several times. But another dream encounter with Prophet T.B. Joshua would become the panacea for that precarious situation. The man of God had encouraged her to remain steadfast in that dream. The next day, Queen headed straight to the embassy. There, she was almost thrown off balance after fifteen applicants had been turned down in her very presence. She knew the battle was beyond her and so went to the restroom to minister the Morning Water. And the rest is history – she received her visa and jetted out.

Queen ministered the Morning Water regularly and watched Emmanuel TV incessantly till she completed her Master’s degree. Immediately after her Master’s, she applied for her PhD even without an assurance of where the funding would come from. She had the faith and only needed to activate it. Ministering the Morning Water and praying over her new aspiration, she received a full scholarship for her doctoral degree plus a job. She completed her residency in the USA and was left with the research aspect of the programme.

She returned to Nigeria and visited The SCOAN where she had a one-on-one encounter with Prophet T.B. Joshua who encouraged her to go and complete her research and come back with a copy of her thesis for him to see. But when she returned to the USA, the devil struck! Her scholarship was reduced by seventy-five percent while a huge debt profile hung around her neck. She was on the brink of dropping out of school and had even written a letter to the man of God concerning her frustrations but kept her faith intact. Three days before her scholarship status would be terminated, someone she didn’t know had offset her debts. That same day, her scholarship was fully restored!

After completing her thesis, Queen went ahead to defend it. The defence was more like a walk- over as the Holy Spirit guided her in everything she said and did that day. Queen eventually graduated with a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Law. Today, she is addressed as Barrister Dr Queen Agbaji. Thanking God during her testimony, she urged congregants to use their faith to put a demand on the anointin-g in the life of Prophet T.B. Joshua, stressing that every nation needs a prophet.

SUCCOUR FOR LIBYAN DEPORTEES

They had dared the odds to seek greener pastures abroad through what one can describe as the most tortuous and illegal of routes. Most of them even had to borrow money from loved ones in anticipation of a bright future overseas. Little did it occur to them that they were on a mission of near-death, torture and abuse. For the females among them, sexual molestation was one of the sad realities they had to live with in the hands of their helpers turned tormentors. It was disheartening to wake up to the horrible realisation that those in whom they had reposed the hope of crossing into Europe would turn out to be the greatest villains in this tragedy of their lives.

LIBYAN DEPORTEES

The experience of the Libyan deportees is perhaps one of the greatest testaments on the drama of existence, of survival and of the absurd. Girls, in their teens, deceived into abandoning their humble beginnings in Nigeria and left to face the grim side of life in a foreign land. For those who survived the long trek through the Sahara Desert, the joy of nearing Europe was always punctuated by the fear of having to float aboard plastic and wooden dinghies in which they were packed like sardines and left at the mercy of the ruthless waves that had no compassion in their trajectory. It was a tale of squalor in motion as they had to drink very dirty water, put up with faeces and dead bodies. Many regretted embarking on that journey of doom but it was late. Many prayed that the Libyan authorities should rescue them alive. They preferred to be arrested and sent to jail rather than die on the sea and be eaten by sharks.

According to Miss Tracy Stephen, one of the deportees, her experience was devastating psychologically and physically in the face of all the hardship she encountered on the ill-fated journey to Europe. According to her, many of her colleagues who embarked on that journey as excited teens have returned as hapless and broken mothers as well as expectant mothers that were raped. Their deportation to Nigeria was facilitated by the International Office for Migration.

Knowing that The SCOAN, Prophet T.B. Joshua and the Emmanuel TV Partners have always lent helping hands to those in dire need, the contingent decided to visit the ministry to seek for succour in order to start life anew. For one week, Prophet T.B. Joshua provided them medical care, accommodation and transportation to the tune of two million and four hundred thousand naira. They also received cash gifts of seven million and six hundred thousand naira in addition to the two bags of rice they each received. In total, they received the sum of ten million naira as support from Prophet T.B. Joshua and the Emmanuel TV Partners. Thanking God, the deportees were unanimous in their resolve to start a new life. They urged youths and parents alike not to be carried away by the flashy lifestyles of people who visit the country from overseas, especially during the yuletide season, stressing that appearance is deceptive.

SHE DOUBTED THE MORNING WATER BUT IT CHANGED THE STORY OF HER ENTIRE FAMILY

Mrs Lilian Rotimi had been a staunch critic of Prophet T.B. Joshua and The Synagogue, Church of All Nations. She had received the Morning Water from a neighbour and had destroyed it, thinking her neighbour was insane. As far as she was concerned, anything from The SCOAN was not to be associated with her. But all her misgivings would soon end after she had encountered the man of God giving a sermon about offence on Emmanuel TV in her sister’s room. It dawned on her how ignorantly she had unnecessarily maligned the man of God. She became sober and asked God for forgiveness. From there, younger sister encouraged her to make use of the Morning Water.

Around this time, Mrs Rotimi was preparing to attend a visa interview at the US embassy. She had a virgin passport that had not been used before and so, it would take a miracle for her to be granted the US visa. But her sister believed in the Morning Water as a medium of God’s power and had used it to activate so much blessings, including trips abroad. On the night preceding the visa interview, her sister ministered the Morning Water to her and prayed for her. At the embassy, in spite of the fact that many applicants were rejected, her anointed application was granted without stress.

Mrs Rotimi was overwhelmed with divine astonishment and collapsed. It took the embassy security to bring her up to her feet. After her miracle, she encouraged her husband to follow her example. Ministering the Morning Water on her husband, she encouraged him to apply for the US visa. And just as it was in her case, her husband’s visa application was granted. Having secured the US visa for herself and her husband, the next challenge was to secure their children’s. Ministering the Morning Water on her kid’s applications, Mrs Rotimi headed to the embassy, where after simple questions, the applications were granted with dispatch.

Within a short while, the entire family was granted visas to travel to the USA. And for that, Mrs Rotimi is repentant. She regretted her misgiving about the Morning Water and even asked for forgiveness from the friend who had given her the Morning Water which she destroyed. Thanking God, in company of her sister, for the uncommon miracles through the Morning Water, Mrs Rotimi advised people all over the world not to rush into criticizing things they are ignorant of.

A SPIRIT HUSBAND’S REIGN COMES TO AN END

She started drinking and smoking at the age of 15. That early descent into waywardness soon culminated in her becoming a mother at the age of 18. Her heavy dependence on alcohol and cigarette-smoking caused her to develop kidney stones – a life-threatening condition. In spite of that reality, she continued to live her life as though she had a duplicate hidden somewhere. She manipulated her beauty to her advantage. In her eyes was a hidden power which no man could resist. The high and mighty all fell into her trap. She also had a diabolic chain around her waist which infatuated men, especially those who beheld her nudeness.

The evil spirit tormenting her life controlled her psyche and made every other person look like a fool. Even her brother who had sincere intentions to help her find a solution was written off. She saw him as one pest trying to disturb her peace. Miss Sheri Bright Makoso destroyed the destinies of the men she slept with. Some lost their jobs, others had problems in their marriages while many had their businesses grounded.

Stranded in Nigeria and in dire need of money, her brother who was fed up with her irresponsible lifestyle, insisted that he would only financially assist her if she agreed to come to The SCOAN for deliverance. Visiting The SCOAN during a Sunday service, the Cameroonian came in contact with the Holy Spirit. While Prophet T.B. Joshua was praying for congregants, she became very uncomfortable and wanted to leave but the power of God arrested her. According to her, as the prayers progressed, she felt as though maggots were coming out of her body. She kept on scratching her body while the spiritual operation lasted. Coming under the bombardment of the Holy Spirit, the evil spirit spoke through her, saying it was a spirit husband which had tried to destroy her life but for the intervention of God through The SCOAN.

Miss Makoso was delivered by Jesus Christ through the prayer of Prophet T.B. Joshua. Since that day, she has found a breath of fresh air through Christ Jesus. All those unholy urges and desires of the flesh have left her life. Thanking God for her deliverance, in company of her brother, Miss Makoso also expressed gratitude to Prophet T.B. Joshua and The SCOAN for their charitable disposition towards her. According to her, she has received medical as well as financial support from them. Her brother who described her deliverance as the removal of a thorn from his flesh, advised people all over the world to be steadfast in the Lord, lest they fight the wrong battles.

A FORGIVING HEART IS A BLESSED HEART

The glory from above radiated unhindered in the auditorium as the choir did what they know how to do best – keeping the congregation on their feet as they doled out tunes of praise and worship. The message in their songs prepared the ground for sober reflection, repentance and forgiveness. It created the platform for Evangelist Daniel’s message to sink deep into the hearts of the children of God.

Titled, A FORGIVING HEART IS A BLESSED HEART, Evangelist Daniel’s message focused on the need for Christians to forgive those who offend them in order to free themselves from the obstacles that stand in between them and the blessings of God. According to him, “Forgiveness is so important because a relationship does not involve two perfect people. Perfect people do not exist on earth.” He reckoned that no one is above mistake and therefore no man should despise another because of his mistakes. He warned Christians to be cautious about the way they respond to people who make mistakes, adding that such responses could in themselves become mistakes – “Our response to a person who makes a mistake can also be a mistake if care is not taken.”

Citing relevant scriptures, he observed that loving and praying for those who hurt us releases us from destructive emotions that make us look ugly in the face of God: “When you love your enemies and pray for those who hate you, this releases you from the destructive emotions of anger, bitterness, revenge and others.” He concluded by urging Christians to emulate Christ who prayed for those who crucified Him, stressing that being unwilling to forgive shows that we have not understood or benefitted from God’s forgiveness.

SPIRIT HUSBAND SUCCUMBS TO THE POWER OF THE HOLY SPIRIT

Raised in a family that was not very godly, Mrs Douglas grew up to discover that there was an inherent power that controlled her life. Perhaps, her father’s involvement with traditional practices had taken a negative toll on her spiritual life. Though her mother tried to serve God, the devotion was not as solid as expected. Mrs Douglas’s reputation for trouble-shooting in her younger days was a well-known characteristic. She would talk down to people and was always ready to stir the hornet’s nest. She had no regards for elders and felt as though the world was on her finger tips. The fact that her father owned the building where they lived also contributed to her problem. As far as she was concerned, being a landlord’s daughter was enough licence to look down on the tenants.

That power that controlled her life soon manifested itself while she was on a visit to see her elder sister. It was in a dream encounter – a spirit husband slept with her. When she woke up from sleep, she discovered that her undies had been pulled down to her utter surprise. After conferring with her equally discomfited sister over the embarrassing development. The more she tried to come to terms with that strange reality, the greater her confusion and anger. Gradually, the spirit of anger pitched its tent in her soul and made her a bunch of trouble to the extent that family members became very wary of her mood and temperament. She would shout at anybody, irrespective of age or status. She was just fearless.

Mrs Douglas was alienated from serious family matters because of her temperament. She was virtually kept incommunicado. Her elder sister took her to different places in search of solution but it appeared that all her efforts were a waste of time and energy. The anger, rudeness and domineering spirit became worse. As a married woman, her husband felt the brunt of her overbearing attitudes. She did not obey his instructions. Instead, she would order him about and make him feel like the wife of the house. On a particular occasion, she manhandled him and tore his clothes from head to toe, leaving him almost stark naked just because she felt he was not giving her support. She also dropped out of university on two occasions owing to her anger and lack of patience.

Mrs Douglas was somewhat irredeemably cantankerous. Even in her children’s school, she would quarrel and fight with other parents on the slightest provocation. While driving, she never spared other drivers who might have offended her. She would wind down her glass and unleash verbal terror on them. The spirit husband ensured that her senses of shame and decorum were no longer existent and so it tossed her around at will. While her late father’s burial arrangements were in top gear, she had injured her elder sister with a broken bottle because she insisted that her own plan and list should supersede all others. Her children avoided her as she was always harsh to them. They preferred the company of their father who was more accommodating.

One day, after falling out with salon attendants who abandoned her hair to pray along with Prophet T.B. Joshua on the Emmanuel TV in their shop, Mrs Douglas returned home only to encounter another Emmanuel TV saga. Her husband instructed her to watch Emmanuel TV and pray along with the man of God. Though she obeyed that instruction while he was at home, whenever he went out of the house, she would change the channel. But Mrs Douglas discovered something whenever she watched Emmanuel TV. She realised that she always had inner peace and was submissive to her husband. On his part, Mr Douglas encouraged his wife to visit The SCOAN and was elated when she agreed to come with him to the Arena of Liberty.

Mrs Douglas was captured by the Holy Spirit on the penultimate Sunday, as Evangelists ministered the Morning Water. The spirit husband spoke through her and confessed all the wicked acts it had perpetrated in her life. After her deliverance, the love and peace that had deserted her family returned. Testifying in company of her husband and children, she told congregants that her life has taken a better turn. She regretted all those things she did under the demonic influence of the spirit husband. According to her, the love and peace she now enjoys are indescribable. “The spirit of anger is real but don’t run away from God,” she advised people all over the world.

THE REWARD OF HEEDING A PROPHET’S ADVICE

Mr Chimaroke Nnaji is an engineer by profession. His interest was caught by Prophet T.B. Joshua’s prophecy concerning agriculture. The man of God had prophesied that oil would lose its value globally and that agriculture could well be a way out for the world. Having considered the prophecy, Mrs Nnaji’s wife urged him to key into it. Even though he was initially reluctant, a friend’s mention of that prophecy during another visit to The SCOAN, convinced Mr Nnaji that it was truly from God. And without wasting time, he started a fish farm in his house. Within three months, he had started making huge harvests.

As time went on, Mr and Mrs Nnaji registered and incorporated their farm and started selling and processing their products with a trademark. As the business grew, they acquired plots of land in their home town where they built bigger fish ponds and embarked on other forms of agriculture such as food crop farming. They also started a palm plantation. As it stands today, they have so many customers who are queueing to start exporting their products. According to Mr Nnaji, there have been talks with many agencies regarding the processing and exportation of their products.

Thanking God in company of his wife and children who are staff of the incorporated company, Mr Nnaji left the following advice to people all over the world: “God is indeed faithful when you follow his Word!”

END OF THE ROAD FOR WICKED PYTHON SPIRIT

Mr Nivard Malcolm started having strange feelings after he drank a potion given to him by a voodoo priest who had promised to cleanse him of all impurities. Since that day, he had not been himself. He knew something was wrong with him as he felt a strange presence in his body. All efforts to disentangle himself proved abortive. The man from the Virgin Islands started having nightmares in which he would see serpents, especially pythons. Gradually, his finances collapsed. He was unable to get married and was later haunted by insomnia.

In the face of those challenges, a friend told him about Prophet T.B. Joshua. Mr Malcolm searched for the man of God on the internet and was convinced that God was here in The SCOAN. Though it took him a while to save enough money for the visit, he eventually landed in Nigeria from the USA where he resides. When Mass Prayer was going on during the penultimate Sunday service, Mr Malcolm was arrested by the anointing as the python in him manifested. “I control him, he is mine – his body belongs to me… this guy is supposed to be a great musician… No marriage – no woman… the master was the one who put me inside here,” said the frustrated spirit. After undergoing the anointed operation of the Holy Ghost, the python spirit was cast out.

During his testimony last Sunday, Mr Malcolm, exuded great joy as he now enjoys freedom and peace of mind. According to him, he now has clarity of mind and can sleep without any hassles. He advised people all over the world to desist from self-acclaimed priests and healers who only end up messing people’s lives. He urged those seeking solution to any problem to seek the face of God in any living church where they can get their deliverance.

HEALED OF PERMANENT ERECTION AND BLESSED WITH A CHILD AFTER YEARS OF BARRENNESS

Mr and Mrs Akpobor Udu were married but could not enjoy the peace that is supposed to be part of a Christian marriage. Aside from the challenge of barrenness that had left them childless, Mr Udu was constantly being harassed by a spirit husband who was after his wife. On several occasions, the spirit would engage him in fierce battles in his dreams. Unyielding to all of Mr Udu’s resistance, the spirit husband gave him something to remember. He was afflicted with priapism – a permanent erection that defied all attempts to bring it down. For days, the Delta State of Nigeria indigene was in severe pains as his veins became overstretched. When it dawned on him that the situation was beyond him, he visited The SCOAN where the man of God prayed for him at the Prayer Line and he was delivered. After his deliverance, the recalcitrant erection bowed to the power of the Holy Spirit. Mr Udu also received the Morning Water.

Having been delivered from the affliction of the spirit husband, the next challenge was to ask for the fruit of the womb. Mr Udu prayed and ministered the Morning Water together with his wife. The couple met as husband and wife and to the glory of God, Mrs Udu became pregnant. Her pregnancy progressed smoothly until the seventh month when it was discovered that the foetus was in a breech presentation. Confronted with that unpleasant reality, Mrs Udu confessed that the child in her womb was a child of God and would not be troubled under any circumstance. She ministered the Morning Water and prayed. After a few days, the foetus returned to the normal position.

When it was time to deliver her baby, the devil tried to strike. On her mother’s advice, Mr Udu was taken to a traditional medicine practitioner who claimed that a rope was holding the baby back and that delivery would be difficult. But unmoved by such a spurious claim, Mrs Udu further reiterated her faith in God by confessing that as a product of prayer, her baby would come forth through normal delivery and nothing less. As she made that confession, she also ministered the Morning Water. In a matter of minutes, labour reached its climax. She was taken to a nearby maternity home where she delivered a baby girl christened Divine. During their testimony, husband and wife expressed immense gratitude to God for turning their lives around.

DIVINE REUNION AFTER THE HOLY SPIRIT TOOK OVER COURT CASE

For physically disciplining her fighting children, Mrs Ani and her husband were denied access to them after the UK social services took them into protective custody in accordance with the Child Protection Law of the country. The matter was subsequently charged to court even as the case lingered for two years. It was an emotionally-turbulent time for the parents who were separated from their children. Mr Ani was not happy with the development and missed the affectionate moments he had spent with his four sons before the unfortunate incident set in. In his desperate search for help, he came down to The SCOAN all the way from the United Kingdom to see Prophet T.B. Joshua who prayed for him and gave him the Morning Water for his children.

After he returned to the UK and took the Morning Water to his children at the Social Services facility, he had a dream one night in which the man of God appeared in the court room and ordered him to unseat the presiding judge in the matter. A few days after that dream, the presiding judge was replaced with another one. The new judge after reviewing the case, sympathised with the Anis and even ordered that they should be compensated financially for all the pain they were put through. Though they rejected the option of financial compensation, Mr and Mrs Ani were eventually granted full custody of their four sons after the new judge had rubbished and struck out the case. Today, the elated parents are living together with their four sons after two years. Thanking God for reuniting them with their amiable children, the couple advised congregants to always believe as “there is no one like God.”

THANKING GOD FOR A MARRIAGE RESTORED

Sometime ago Mr and Mrs Livinus Ifeanyi had been to The SCOAN after the husband had received a prophecy from Prophet T.B. Joshua concerning their then crumbling marriage. The man of God had requested the presence of his wife who on her own had made it categorically clear that it was only Prophet T.B. Joshua that could settle whatever problems she had with her husband. The man of God had counselled the couple under the direction and guidance of the Holy Spirit and had urged them to put their differences aside and embrace peace as husband and wife. The couple heeded the advice of the man of God and since then, the peace and new-found affection in their home has been marvellous.

The couple came to The SCOAN last Sunday to testify to the joy, peace and blessings that have followed their reconciliation. Husband and wife were full of gratitude to God for mending their marriage. They encouraged couples to be tolerant with each other and always seek the intervention of God whenever there are challenges rather than resort to their own human efforts. Mrs Ifeanyi who spoke like an evangelist, counselled people who have marital challenges to draw nearer to God. She urged them not to give up but instead embrace prayer.  She also cautioned them to avoid holding on to offence. According to her, there is no marital challenge that is beyond the power of deliverance. The couple also thanked God for using Prophet T.B. Joshua to reconcile them and make them rediscover the love that had eluded their marriage. They left the following words of advice to married couples all over the world: “Marriage does not have a formula; just ask God to give you grace to endure.”

Raising their voices in unison, congregants sang along with the choir: Let Your will be done… That song echoed the agony of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ in the garden of Gethsemane. It also reflected the unanimous resolve of congregants to submit themselves to the will of God at all times. The atmosphere was calm and meditative as the Spirit of God traversed the length and breadth of the auditorium.

Evangelist Dupe’s message spiced up the day with its thought-provoking perspectives. Titled THE INDWELLING GRACE, her message enjoined Christians to embrace the Spirit of God rather than cling to their own mundane and limited understanding. She urged them to desist from worldliness and self-righteousness so that they may partake of that indwelling grace which can only come from God. “As long as the world is in place in your life, Christ will be displaced. As long as self-righteousness is in place in your life, the righteousness of God will be displaced,” she added.

According to her, “No man knows by the present signs or situation what the future holds” and therefore God chooses grace rather than works. She explained that by virtue of His grace, He offers help to both the weak and strong alike, stressing that without grace, no one will merit His mercy and favour, especially when our righteous works are like a filthy rag before His eyes. “All our spiritual advantages are from God and are by grace,” she added.

Concluding, Evangelist Dupe reminded Christians that whatever they achieve in life is made possible by God. She urged them to denounce the erroneous impression that a great man is self-made: “Whoever is great among men, it is God who made them so… Let him who glories, glory in the Lord and not in himself,” she submitted.

TESTIMONIES

GOD GRANTED HER PRAYER REQUEST TO STUDY ON A SCHOLARSHIP ABROAD

In spite of the discouraging reality that stared her in the face, she wouldn’t give in to the antics of the devil. Her inability to secure a job after graduating from university since 2007 did not matter at all. What mattered was the fact that she had faith and knew that with God, the situation would transform into glory. And so, during her mandatory National Youth Service programme in Kano, Nigeria, she came across a friend whom God used to change the course of her destiny. According to Miss Sandra Plangtok, a native of North-Central Plateau State of Nigeria, getting to know about Emmanuel TV through her friend helped her invigorate her faith as she watched the anointed channel with remarkable devotion.

In December 2012, Sandra visited The SCOAN. It was during a Sunday service and the man of God had asked congregants to write down their one dearest request on a piece of paper. For Sandra, her ultimate desire was to study for her master’s degree abroad, specifically in the United Kingdom. After writing down her prayer request, she continued to pray and minister her Morning Water. In 2013, her participation in a British Council Education Fair brought her in contact with officials of the University of Huddersfield and their mouth-watering scholarship package for Nigerian students. Sandra applied for a master’s programme in Management and also applied for the scholarship package. She followed up the process with rigorous prayers and ministration of the Morning Water.

On June 27, 2013, a call came from an official of the University of Huddersfield, informing Sandra that her scholarship application was successful. Overwhelmed by the news, she imagined how she would be able to fund the other travelling expenses. Through continuous prayers and ministration of the Morning Water, God opened doors through which she was able to raise funds to process her visa and flight tickets. Sandra proceeded to the University of Huddersfield for her studies. Throughout the programme, she maintained a prayerful disposition and eventually graduated with a Master of Management degree. During her testimony last Sunday, Sandra told congregants and people all over the world: “When you run out of rope, you should hang onto faith.”

AGE-LONG YOKE OF INSANITY BOOTED OUT

For fifteen years, Mr Solomon Ohakwe suffered from insanity. His mental state defied all human solutions to the extent that his father got fed up and left the young man to his fate. Since 2002, Solomon had been roaming the streets of Owerri, begging for alms and dressed in tattered clothes. In his infinite mercies, God had his own plans for the young man. Prince Woboroma and his family had visited The SCOAN and had received healing from Jesus Christ through the man of God, Prophet T.B. Joshua, who also gave them many bottles of the Morning Water. While on their way home, the Woboromas stopped in Owerri where they lodged in an hotel. One afternoon, while Mrs Woboroma was queuing to buy food from a canteen, a mentally unstable Solomon approached her. While other food mongers were trying to chase the mad man away, he kept pointing at Mrs Woboroma, saying he wanted to see her.

Driven by fear, Mrs Woboroma brought out the Morning Water and ministered to Solomon. As she ministered the Morning Water, she prayed thus: “I rebuke you, in Jesus’ name.” As the prayer lasted, Solomon answered, “Amen.” To the greatest surprise of Mrs Woboroma and people around, Solomon regained his senses and realised that he was even naked. Kind-hearted people around offered the healed man new clothes and took him to the salon to have a shave. After that miracle, Mrs Woboroma followed him up for three weeks, praying for him and ministering the Morning Water on him. That miracle created a lot of rumours as the people of Imo State kept trooping to the scene, claiming that Prophet T.B. Joshua had sent a woman to come and liberate the state.

When it became very clear that Solomon was no longer insane, he was taken to his parents who were filled with joy when they saw him. According to Solomon’s father, when he saw his son, he thought he was working in a bank because of the neat and tidy way he was dressed. While testifying to Solomon’s miraculous healing through the Morning Water medium, Mr Woboroma and family in company of other eyewitnesses, thanked God for healing the young man from a yoke that had weighed his senses down for fifteen years.

Each witness expressed great joy for the young man who is now very stable and sound in mind. According to one of them, Pastor Chinwendu, he was excited about the miracle and decided to be a part of the testimony. One thing that stood out during the testimony was the fact that all those involved were unanimous in their belief that with God, nothing is impossible. Advising congregants and people all over the world, Mr Woboroma submitted, “The Morning Water is a weapon of mass rehabilitation and reconstruction”.

T.B. Joshua and the Emmanuel TV Partners gave Mr Solomon Ohakwe a cash gift of 500,000 naira to start a new life in Christ and a copy of The Mirror book.

MULTIPLE BLESSINGS FOR ‘CHIEF ZEBURDAYA’ AND FAMILY

In 2012, Chief Chika Okpala had visited The SCOAN with his family to seek the face of God concerning his son who got admission to study in a Russian university. During that visit, they received prayers and the Morning Water from the man of God. But shortly after his son had travelled to Russia, he called to inform his father that he had been diagnosed with a hole in the heart and had to be hospitalised. On hearing the unpleasant news, the popular Nigerian comedian reminded his son to use the Morning Water and Good Morning Stickers. Heeding his father’s advice, he ministered the Morning Water and placed the Good Morning Stickers on his chest. In a matter of days, he called again to inform his father that he had been discharged from hospital with a clean bill of health. Returning to Nigeria, Chief Okpala’s son got a job with the National Universities Commission, NUC.

Chief Okpala’s daughter who had just completed her National Youth Service programme and was searching for employment also got a job with TETFUND, Tertiary Education Trust Fund. The young woman also got married. Chief Okpala’s wife was not left out. After completing her Master of Science in Education, she had been out of job for seven years. Recently, Chief Okpala was invited by a Commissioner of Education who informed him that his wife had been appointed to teach in a Federal Government College in Enugu State. On his own part, Chief Okpala, against all local superstitious beliefs that anyone renovating a house would not complete it before he or she dies,  was able to complete the renovation of two houses for himself and his siblings. Aside that, he is currently a brand/advocacy ambassador to many organisations. Chief Zeburdaya, as he was fondly called in the heydays of the now rested comedy series – The New Masquerade, advised people all over the world to remain focused on God just as he urged them to be prayerful and to watch Emmanuel TV.

THERE IS NO BARRENNESS IN THE ARENA OF LIBERTY

Mr and Mrs Okuchukwu Igwe suffered the social stigma of childlessness for five years. The problem was diagnosed to be a mutual one. While Mrs Igwe was diagnosed with tubal blockage, her husband was diagnosed with low sperm count. The couple, especially the wife was not having the best of times as she was always isolated. She could not mingle with other woman because she felt ashamed of her inability to conceive a child. When it dawned on her that their problem was beyond human solution, her desire for divine intervention intensified. It was around that time that she conferred with a neighbour who had Emmanuel TV and who later introduced them to The SCOAN.

The couple decided to visit The SCOAN to receive God’s anointed touch. During their visit, they proceeded to the Prayer Line where the man of God laid hands on them. After that anointed encounter with the man of God, husband and wife returned home and met as a married couple. In a matter of weeks, Mrs Igwe was confirmed pregnant by her doctors. After nine months, she delivered a baby girl named Emmanuella. During their testimony, the couple praised God for taking away shame from their lives while urging people all over the world to run to Him, stressing that there is nothing He cannot do.

DIABETES AND SEVERE WHITLOW LOSE THE BATTLE

Diagnosed with Diabetes, Mrs Deborah Abiodun went from one hospital to another in search of solution. For seven years, she endured the debilitating symptoms of the ailment. Last year, she developed a herpetic whitlow that defied all known medications and left her two fingers rotting away gradually. Her doctors had concluded that the best option to save her life was outright amputation of the putrefying fingers lest the malignancy spread to other parts of her body.

Faced with the horrible reality of having to lose her fingers and perhaps life, she decided to seek the face of God. After communing with God through prayer, she reckoned that she would have to consult her father in the Lord, Prophet T.B. Joshua. The doctors would have none of her ‘fairy-tale thinking.’ ‘How on earth would she be so daft to think that prayer will heal her when her fingers were already rotting away,’ they must have thought in their usual professional inclinations. But Mrs Abiodun was only exercising her faith in God because she knew pretty well that He is a God of signs and wonders to those who believe. After repeated arguments, she was allowed to leave the hospital but on one condition: her husband had to sign a consent form that if anything happened to her, he would take the blame. As soon as she was released by the doctors, she travelled down to Lagos from Abuja to visit The SCOAN. On arrival, she proceeded to an emergency Prayer Line session where the man of God ministered the Morning Water on her ailing hand. As Prophet T.B. Joshua was ministering the Morning Water, Mrs Abiodun felt a very heavy burden leave her hand. The man of God declared her healed and told her that she would come back to give testimony. In a matter of seven days, her rotting fingers had dried up miraculously. Since that day to this moment, the wound and the diabetes have healed completely! Thanking God during her testimony last Sunday, Mrs Abiodun could not conceal her heartfelt joy for the wondrous work of God in her life. She advised congregants and people all over the world thus: “The Morning Water is not ordinary.”

After several weeks of dutiful absence, the man of God, Prophet T.B. Joshua, made a much-expected appearance at the altar during the Sunday service of November 6, 2016. The man of God brought forth a message titled KNOWLEDGE IS NOT THE KEY; OBEDIENCE IS. The message centred on the need for Christians to cultivate spiritual maturity in the face of the unpleasant challenges of life. According to Prophet T.B. Joshua, Christians must not allow themselves to be controlled by their situations lest they lose their sense of reasoning – “When your situation controls you, you lose all sense of reasoning.”

The man of God also explained that challenges, trials and temptations are tests that show the true character of a person. He revealed that without trials and temptation, sin is given a very good opportunity to hide its ugly head: “Sin hides where there is no heat of trials and temptations and challenges. In times of merriment, prosperity and success, you see the evil ones rejoicing but when the heat of trials come, suddenly their evil actions surface.”

Concluding, he had the following counsel to congregants and Christians all over the world: “No matter how much you master the Scriptures, without true obedience to what you read, you still wear spiritual diapers.” The service also witnessed deliverance and prophecies. Souls under the bondage of the devil were set free while many testified to the goodness of God in their lives.

TESTIMONIES

NO SICKNESS OR ADDICTION CAN STAND THE ANOINTING OF GOD

Mr and Mrs Mutabazi were not the happiest of parents on account of their son’s unstable health condition. Recurrent headaches accompanied by unexplained fainting turned the boy into a shadow of his former boisterous self. The Tanzanian couple was taken aback by the unpleasant development. They took him to different hospitals in Tanzania and neighbouring Kenya where doctors diagnosed nervous blockage and epilepsy, respectively. The boy was placed on a cocktail of medications that proved unhelpful. For one year, he could not go to school. Instead, he developed another problem – addiction to ice cubes.

Through a family friend, the Mutabazis came across Emmanuel TV and eventually installed it in their home. Putting to heart the words of Prophet T.B. Joshua that distance is not a barrier, they prayed along with the man of God on Emmanuel TV and ministered the Morning Water. They also gave their son the Good Morning Sticker alongside the Morning Water which they instructed him to minister to himself from time to time. Shortly afterwards, their son’s health returned to its normal state. The headaches and fainting stopped. The boy is now back to school and is doing very well. He no longer eats ice cubes.

Thanking God for healing their son and for delivering him from ice cube addiction, Mr and Mrs Mutabazi urged congregants and people all over the world to have faith in God.

BARRENNESS BATTERED AND BURIED BY THE HOLY SPIRIT

Unable to bear a child of their own, Mr and Mrs Kyllastinen were reduced to an incomplete couple. In the course of their battle with barrenness, Mrs Kyllastinen suffered three miscarriages and would not stop having nightmares that frustrated her desire to have unhindered sleep. The Finnish couple tried everything within their power to have a child but it seemed as if the cry of a child would never be heard in their home. Diagnosing Mr Kyllastinen with low sperm count shed more light on the fact that it would take a miracle for them to have a child. Even the doctors who did the diagnosis could not offer a viable solution.

In August, 2013, the couple visited The SCOAN and met with the man of God, Prophet T.B. Joshua. After praying for them, the man of God gave them the Morning Water. When they returned to Finland, within a short while, changes surfaced. Those disgusting nightmares stopped while Mr Kyllastinen felt stronger as a man. By December, 2013, his wife was confirmed pregnant. Mrs Kyllastinen went on to deliver a baby girl in August, 2014. Expressing gratitude to God during his testimony, Mr Kyllastinen advised congregants and people all over the world in the following words: “Trust in God and the Faith Tools given to us by the Prophet.” To cap off their incredible testimony, Mr Kyllastinen further revealed that his wife gave birth to another beautiful baby girl in May 2016.

GOD SEVERED HER TIES WITH PROSTITUTION AND REPLACED HER LOST KIDNEY

One Lawson had lured her into prostitution in faraway Europe after she had sworn to an
oath in a shrine. Lawson also gave her a hint of the abominable mission she was about to embark on by sleeping with her. The fantastic prospect of working in Europe soon cascaded into a sad tale of sex slavery. Lawson had told her that she would work in a bar where she was to wash glasses and dishes. Miss Sifau, a native of Edo State, Nigeria, was forced to sell her body in order to settle her ‘benefactor’. Most times, she slept with as many as fifty men in a day. After mustering the strength to settle her master, she fell very ill and was diagnosed with a kidney problem. The kidney problem was terminal and so, for her to survive, the affected one would have to be removed lest the problem spread to the other. Sifau eventually returned to Nigeria with one kidney and with nothing to show for her hustle abroad.

During a Saturday service at The SCOAN, she was spotted by the man of God who prophesied to her about her infamous journey to Europe. She was shocked to tears when the man of God even mentioned the name of the man who deceived her into prostitution. Having prophesied to her, the man of God delivered her and gave her the sum of two hundred thousand naira to establish a business for herself. The young woman was at The SCOAN last Sunday to testify to the marvellous work God has done in her life through Prophet T.B. Joshua. Aside from the fact that she has established a thriving foodstuff business, doctors have also, against all human explanation, discovered that her removed left kidney is still there intact.

Testifying before The SCOAN congregation, she marvelled at the mysterious replacement of her removed kidney. According to her, it is clearly the hand of God at work. She thanked Prophet T.B. Joshua for being a worthy servant of the Most High whom He used to liberate her from destruction. “Parents, be concerned about what your children are doing abroad. Find out the source of their money,” she advised.

SICKLE CELL ANAEMIA BOWS TO THE HOLY SPIRIT

Miss Evelyn Kamara was diagnosed with sickle cell anaemia when she was 9-years-old. She was placed on heavy daily medication. The sickness persisted to the extent that she once collapsed in school and was advised by the school authorities to withdraw. Her parents had no choice than to keep their daughter at home while she received treatment. It was a psychologically traumatising moment for Evelyn as she couldn’t come to terms with what was going on, bearing in mind the fact that her mates were in school studying.

After much pleading by her parents, the school authorities rescinded their decision and allowed her back in school, albeit after it was agreed she would observe a strict dieting regime. Evelyn’s mother and four other siblings were also suffering from sickle cell anaemia and spent many days in the hospital together. Other family relatives had to be on hand to look after Evelyn on some occasions. The scenario affected her academic life in the sense that it restricted her movement, preventing her from seeking better medical attention abroad.

In 2013, Evelyn visited The SCOAN and received prayers and the Morning Water from the man of God, which she ministered in faith and additionally gave her sick family members. Immediately, she started experiencing changes in her health. Three months later, she visited her doctors and was confirmed free from sickle cell anaemia. Her mother and siblings also tested negative to the deadly disease. During her testimony last Sunday, Evelyn told congregants that she has also obtained her bachelor’s degree. According to her, she is currently working and pursuing her master’s degree. All those pains and weakness of the body are gone forever. The young Tanzanian advised people not to give up when they are confronted with challenges, adding that, “God is the solution to every challenge.”

MASTERS DEGREE DISTINCTION AFTER MIRACULOUS SCHOLARSHIP

Her life was juxtaposed by two serious challenges. Her ambition to obtain a master’s degree in International Accounting and Finance was threatened by lack of funds while incessant headaches and heartburn held her state of health hostage. For Miss Paulina Shifeta, the latter challenge was somehow managed with the administration of pain relievers and adherence to a special dietary regime. But even with all that, she knew that there was a dire need for a lasting solution which only God could offer. With regards to her post-graduate ambition, she had approached the Ministry of Education in her country to sponsor her but the request was turned down.

Sensing that the unseen forces of the world could truncate her noble aspiration, she decided to seek God’s help at The SCOAN. After receiving prayers from the man of God, she returned to her native Namibia and applied for a scholarship with the University of East London – the same school that offered her admission. In a matter of days, her scholarship application was granted with the financial package above what she required. She actually needed a little over eleven thousand pounds but got thirteen thousand eight hundred and seventy-seven pounds for her tuition. By this time, all the headaches and heart burns had disappeared.

When she eventually resumed her studies in the UK, she encountered a lot of other challenges that almost made her quit the scholarship. Remembering how God had helped her through The SCOAN, she revisited the Arena of Liberty in April, 2016, exactly two and a half weeks before her exams. Receiving prayers from the man of God, she returned to the UK and sat for her exams. When the final results were released, Paulina came out in flying colours. She graduated with a distinction. Appreciating God for the great things He had done for her, she advised people all over the world to put their trust in the Lord.

CANCER VANISHES AFTER COMING IN CONTACT WITH EMMANUEL TV AND THE MORNING WATER

Mrs Akosile had suddenly started bleeding from the nose, a situation which threw her family into confusion. Her case was later diagnosed to be a growth in the nose which doctors said had to be removed through an operation. After the growth was removed, it was sent to the laboratory for further examination and was discovered to be cancerous. Doctors recommended chemotherapy. For six months, Mrs Akosile underwent chemotherapy, losing her hair and appetite in the process. She couldn’t eat properly even as she struggled to breathe. Her elder sister who was concerned about her health introduced her and her husband to Emmanuel TV and also gave them the Morning Water.

Mr Akosile installed Emmanuel TV in the house, even though he never believed. His wife and her sister would always pray along with Prophet T.B. Joshua by placing their hands on the screen of the television. They also prayed and ministered the Morning Water on their own. One day, while they were praying along with the man of God, Mrs Akosile fell back to the chair and told her husband that she felt something akin to an electrical shock. After that incident, she was to proceed to the hospital for radiography. But on getting to the hospital, doctors were surprised to discover that she had no trace of cancer or any other form of tumour. Up to this very moment, the doctors are still shocked about the miracle which has defied their medical knowledge. Mrs Akosile who was accompanied to The SCOAN to testify by her husband, son and sister, thanked God for doing the impossible in her life. She urged people to stop doubting the power of God, especially His presence in The SCOAN. Mr Akosile, now an ardent viewer of Emmanuel TV, was especially touched by the miraculous healing of his wife.

Aside from the Mass Prayer which witnessed a fervent appeal to Heaven to destroy all the foundations of the works of the kingdom of darkness in the lives of the children of God, the man of God used the Sunday service of November 13, 2016 to pass across certain salient messages to congregants and Christians all over the world. He informed them of a coming revival that will take place in November and December aimed at preparing them to witness a Spirit-filled New Year.

Concerning his prophecy about the US elections, the man of God reminded naysayers that understanding the words of a Prophet requires spiritual maturity while calling for prayers for America. “We have seen the outcome of the election in the United States. Having seen and heard, you would notice that the prophecy was all about the popular vote, the vote of the majority of Americans. In this case, we need the Spirit of a prophet to understand, to know and to recognize what the prophet was talking about. Our levels are different. We are not on the same level. Take note of that. Our levels are different and we are not on the same level,” he said.

Continuing, he emphasised that, “There is no shortcut to spiritual maturity unless earthly understanding gives way to spiritual enlightenment. Many people were trying to interpret prophets on the basis of their minds and ideas. I quite understand, the prophecy actually caused uproar to many who gave it different meaning and interpretation.”

FROM FRAUD TO FREEDOM

Helicopters hovered over the riot on the streets of London, shining its flood lights down on the ground, trying to locate the perpetrators. Police lights flashed and sirens blared, as they surrounded the unlawful scene. Mr Omene and the crowd of others participating in the riot had been caught. This is the story of Mr Omene, a Nigerian who used to live in London.

The fourth child in a Christian family, Mr Omene had started life on a positive foot. In 2009, Mr Omene had been accepted into a prominent university in London, England. This was his chance to travel abroad and fulfil his dreams. Taking the plunge into the unknown, Mr Omene left Nigeria and set out on a journey that was supposed to connect him to the future he had desired.

Upon arriving in London, Mr Omene quickly felt that the weight of the tuition and living expenses would become so heavy in his first six months into his college journey. With time, his interest in the university education dwindled down. “I woke up one day and decided not to go to school anymore,” he recalled. Resorting to making a living rather than stay in school, he began searching for ways to make fast cash. One night, as he was walking the streets of London, he ran into a friend in a corner shop where he began to explain his problem. His friend described to him how he makes money by defrauding people. Mr Omene was enticed by his friend’s nefarious activity and the prospect of making a lot of money very quickly, not thinking about the implications of the illegal act.

Within three weeks, his friend helped him to fraudulently accumulate over GBP 6,000.00 into his account. Now, with a burning desire to make more money, Mr Omene started down a path that would eventually lead to his destruction. Within six months, he mastered bank fraud and started going deeper into the crime, delving into online fraud and hacking. He ran across a hacker who taught him how to extort money. This was how he began to steal money from international accounts, wiping the accounts clean of all cash. “I would make transactions and other people’s money would go into my account,” explained Mr Omene.

He had many young people working under him, stealing people’s bank cards and bank information, which he used to hack into their accounts. This became his business and started operating what he called ‘an organization.’ In one week, Mr Omene could steal anywhere from GBP 7,000 – 10,000. With the money, he would go to the casino and spend all of it in one weekend. He became so addicted to gambling that he could spend 48 hours straight at the casino. This kind of lifestyle led him to start drinking, smoking and fornicating. The money that he would steal was squandered away on gambling and alcohol.

Along the road, Mr Omene started doing drugs and had gotten connected to a drug dealer. During this time, his fraud business had started to slow down because of the tightening of security within the banks. Now, looking for another means of fast cash, he and a friend decided to break into the drug dealer’s house, stealing everything he had, including his huge stash of drugs. Mr Omene began selling these drugs to make his living and became a self-proclaimed “professional”. From there, something pushed him to start growing and selling his own drugs, recounting that: “Satan used me to destroy so many people’s lives.”

Mr Omene started living in fear that something might happen to him and his gang of “young workers” so he decided to buy guns and other weaponry as a way to protect his so-called organization. His sketchy business reduced him to a spiraling path of doing drugs, drinking alcohol, fornicating and to a life of violence. He was involved in many riots down the main streets of London, involving in many violent acts. He continued breaking the law until one fateful day, the law caught up with him. He was apprehended at the scene of one of the notorious riots. He was taken into custody and subsequently deported back to Nigeria.

His arrival back to Nigeria turned another page in his life. No longer able to practice his fraud activities due to different banking systems and not knowing how to go about his life, he continued to take drugs as a way to cope. One night, he met with a prostitute in a hotel, who said to him, “Don’t leave, the others are coming. I have powers from the water.” He was utterly confused at what she was saying and even became concerned. “I thought I was lost in the world.”

That was when the series of nightmares began, dreaming of a water kingdom and serpents attacking him. What was more, his money had completely finished. Broke and nowhere to go, Mr Omene was forced to go back to his mother’s house. While living there, his mother would have Emmanuel TV on 24/7. He started listening to the testimonies and relating to the things the people were saying. “I realized I might be possessed.” Upon this realization, Mr Omene began to ask God for forgiveness for the life he was living. That night he had a dream that he was told to go to The SCOAN and he would be delivered. That was how he found himself in The SCOAN just two weeks ago. “When the Morning Water touched me, it was like a tsunami hit me. I was taken over completely.”

After receiving deliverance, Mr Omene stood today to testify about how God Almighty had completely set him free from the chains of his addictions and the burdens of his past life. The nightmares he once had are gone and he now no longer has the urge to smoke, drink or do drugs. He has since quit his lifestyle of fornication and adultery. He advised the congregation and Emmanuel TV viewers to follow Jesus and to illuminate their lives in the light of God’s Word, saying that the life he was living before was not worth it. Elated by his new found freedom, Mr Omene boasts in the Lord, “I was lost but now I am found. I was blind but now I can see!”

MOUTH AND THROAT CANCER DRIED OUT OF PLACE

Mr. Omotosho developed what seemed to be an ordinary boil in his upper part of the mouth. Little did he know that what he had thought was a small boil and that could be treated medically would actually graduate into a painful mouth and throat cancer. Racing against time as his health began to deteriorate by the hour, Mr. Omotosho went from one hospital to another. He lost speech and his mouth could no longer handle solid foods. He had to survive on liquefied food substances. His doctor warned him that he feared the dreadful prognosis. His mouth smelled so badly that passengers complained about the offensive buccal odour any time he boarded a public transport. He felt like a decaying walking corpse, as he vomited heavy blood every day.

With no medical solution in sight, Mr. Omotosho ran to The SCOAN where he was arranged for the prayer line. Thanking God for what He has done in his life, Mr. Omotosho told people all over the world that as soon as the prophet prayed for him, the saliva dried up immediately and the uncontrollable dripping ceased. The dead mouth tissues and throat started to fall off as the cancerous sore and associated excruciating pain healed away.

Appreciating and glorifying God’s name, Mr. Omotosho advised people all over the world that in every situation you find yourself in, run to God for it is only Him who has a solution. Jesus Christ is the only hope.

GIANT WOMAN CAST OUT, FAMILY RESTORED

Mrs Josephine Olokor and her husband came to The SCOAN with their children to testify what God has done in their lives. Mrs Olokor narrated her story starting from her grandmother who gave birth to five children. All her children died, remaining only one child who gave birth to Mrs Olokor at a tender age. She grew up with her grandparents. She never knew the woman, who she used to see as her elder sister, was actually her biological mother. One day, her grandmother revealed the real story of her birth. Still grieving over the loss of all her children but one, her grandmother slept off during one of her visits to the riverside. In her dream, she saw a little girl went to the river to fetch water. When the child cried, she went to help her and wished that could be hers as she comforted her. Soon after that dream, the grandmother’s only surviving teen conceived and gave birth to Josephine. As she was growing up, she used to see beautiful girls around her that nobody else could see. She felt very comfortable to be in the midst of her invisible friends.

Afraid that she could also lose little Josephine, her grandmother took her to many spiritualists in an attempt to seek protection from death.

At school, Josephine used to be the best student as there was a spiritual giant woman who gave her tutoring and mentorship on how to carry out her assignments. During her seamstress training, the giant woman would appear to her in dream and guide her through. Little did the world around her know that beyond her excellence and exterior was a spiritual giantess mother. This won her admiration by all and subsequently propelled her into establishing a reputable fashion business. In her trade, she used to receive instruction and money both spiritually and physically on how to flourish her business.

Many times, in her dream, the giant woman reminded her that it was time for her to return to their kingdom.

The spirit gave her a serious spirit of anger that nearly destroyed her marriage. Anytime she saw her husband, she hated him to the core. Her husband turned to be her biggest enemy. There was no longer affection for her husband. As if that was not enough, the spirit also destroyed her business. One day, she woke up in the morning, sold all the equipment for her business and drove all her workers away. She literally shut her business down. Her husband’s attempt to re-establishing her failed.

In their quest to better their business and achieve financial sustenance, they patronised quite a number of spiritualists to whom they had to pay huge sums of money that ran into tens of million Naira. Alas, their situation went spiralling down. One day, her husband watched Emmanuel TV and prayed along with Prophet T.B. Joshua and breakthrough started coming into their lives. Having the breakthrough, the Olokors attributed their blessing to the works of a spiritualist, whom they visited and showered with very expensive gifts. One night, Mrs. Olokor had a dream in which someone told her to pray for mercy. It was after that dream that she understood that their breakthrough could not have come from the spiritual direction they had headed.

Finally, the Olokor Family decided to come to The SCOAN for their deliverance. When Prophet T.B. Joshua prayed for Mrs Olokor at the Prayer Line, she suddenly lost control of herself. The spirit inside her started manifesting as darkness had no hiding place where there is light. All she could remember was that she was delivered from the spirits that had been tormenting her for so many years. The spirit of anger left her, and peace returned to her heart.

Introducing himself in the person of Magistrate Olokor, the husband of Mrs. Josephine Olokor stated categorically that he was living with his “enemy in the (same) house”. He told people all over the world that, he had had to tolerate his wife’s attitudes for the past 27 years, because he could not fathom the possibility of any other man on earth who could endure what his wife had subjected him to. He recalled how her eyes would bulge red for about a week whenever she became angry. Mr. Olokor would literally had to observe his wife’s eyes for days until they turned normal before he ventured to near her. He recounted how his house caught fire mysteriously a few years after their marriage, which nearly caused them the loss of their last daughter. Whilst she succeeded in shutting down her own promising fashion business, the spirit inside of her also attacked whatever business he engaged himself in.

Their eldest daughter, who also validated the challenges the parents faced, recounted how the mother’s anger and the spiritual attacks turned the house upside down and compromised her own health to the extent she subjected her body to various types of pharmaceutical drugs. She recalled how her mother would sometimes escape into their rooms to pass the night as she was very afraid to sleep alone whenever their father was away.

Thanking God through a fresh breath of freedom, a smiling Mr. Olokor said when they were at the prayer line to receive the touch of God from Prophet T.B. Joshua, he observed how uncomfortable his wife became. He saw how she tried to push back, and readily knew that deliverance was at hand to free the entire family from the torments. And indeed, the God we serve never fails. Following the deliverance, Mr and Mrs Olokor and everything that has to do with them were freed in Jesus’ name. Mr. Olokor said he now experiences a new marriage. He advised people all over the world to love their wives and dedicate their marriages to God. On her part, Mrs. Josephine Olokor urged viewers all over the world to be mindful of their utterances and what they wish for. The error in her grandmother’s request for a child at a riverside culminated in the spiritual torture she and her entire family suffered.

YOKE OF BEDWETTING SUCCUMBS TO THE POWER OF GOD

Right from childhood, Miss Shevon Nidzi had been battling with the yoke of bedwetting. The young Zimbabwean woman was isolated from relations and friends because, each time she visited them, she would wet the bed and become a subject of public ridicule. For so long, she searched for a solution without success. She had gone to several churches in search of solution but still could not find reprieve. At a stage, she was advised by friends to drink her urine. The urine-drinking theory soon became a colossal failure. Stuck with the problem of bedwetting, the prospect of marriage was far from her wish-list.

When self-effort proved futile, she decided to visit The SCOAN in September, 2016, where she was arranged for the Prayer Line. As she used her faith to put a demand, Prophet T.B. Joshua prayed for her and that marked the end of her problem of bedwetting.

Thanking God during her testimony last Sunday, she advised people all over the world to hold on to God as He never forsakes those who put their trust in Him.

TIES WITH SPIRIT OF WOMAN BROKEN

Miss Doris Ugbaji came to The SCOAN to testify to how God Almighty has set her free from evil spirits that had been dominating her entire life. At the age of 8 years, she noticed that her father used to bring a lot of men to the house and always wondered what they were doing but her father only told her that she was too young to understand. As time went by, she was taken to a river to bath.

As Doris was growing up, her parents sent her to boarding school where she was performing extremely well. At school, she struck friendship with a girl in her class. One midnight, the girl woke her up and started to caress her. Suddenly, an urge from within pushed her to respond and after that night, she realized that her affection had changed – she no longer had any affection for boys but only for girls. Their skewed relationship soon graduated into strings of promiscuity. The relationship between the pair grew so strong to the extent that whenever Doris’ girlfriend saw her with other girls, she fought her, accusing her of being unfaithful. After leaving the boarding school, she continued the same lifestyle with other women. She also developed an intense interest in watching pornography, and started experiencing same-sex encounter in her dreams. After such dreams, Doris would lock herself up indoors and masturbate. She recalled a time when she masturbated for three consecutive days.

Having realised that her lifestyle was actually a problem to herself, she started searching for solution. Her relatives advised her to visit The SCOAN and she did. During the mass prayer, the spirit of woman that had been the root cause of her problem manifested. It was cast out by the Power of God and Doris received her total deliverance. Following her freedom from the spirit of woman, she realized that her lustful desire for women had vanished, thanks to God.

Miss Doris Ugbaji advised viewers all over the world that anyone who has a similar challenge should seek the face of God for solution, in the name of Jesus Christ.

The man of God, Prophet T.B. Joshua delivered a message – LET GOD RELEASE YOU – to viewers all over the world. It centred on relationships and the need to allow God to direct our actions. He urged viewers not to end relationships because of disagreements or fights, adding that such scenarios create tension and stifle the spirit of forgiveness: “We don’t leave relationships as a Christian because of fights or disagreements. The origin of relationships is God. The man who is your enemy today can be your saviour tomorrow.”

According to the man of God, it is wrong for Christians to carry their offences into new relationships after they have ended previous ones. He reckoned that the same way we quit our previous relationships is the same way we will quit the new ones if we hold onto offences: “Whether you are wrong or right, you have no right to go with that conflict and establish another relationship.”  Prophet T.B. Joshua reminded the congregation and viewers all over the world that no one succeeds alone, hence the need to put away offence and forgive and forget in order to move ahead into a brighter tomorrow. He added that Jesus knew that principle; that was why He had disciples: “You cannot succeed alone; you need people. Jesus knew this; that was why He had disciples.” He also lamented the sad fact that many have lost their opportunity for divine visitation by taking offence and pulling out of the place God had destined for them to succeed. He therefore urged them to realise that the devil will always throw offence their way whenever they are in the right place where God wants them to be: “If you are in a place where God wants you to be, the devil will want to offend you to pull out.”

Concluding, Prophet T.B. Joshua advised Christians all over the world to wait for God in all circumstances rather than take rash decisions instigated by their human faculties: “No matter the crisis, don’t quit; wait patiently for God’s release.”

BREAST CANCER BANISHED BY THE SPIRIT OF GOD

Diagnosed with breast cancer at a young age, Miss Uzoamaka kept her faith alive by drawing inspiration from the messages of Prophet T.B. Joshua she began to watch on Emmanuel TV. She moved from one hospital to the other but the more the medication and treatment she received, the worse her condition seemed to be. In spite of the huge funds spent in search of a medical solution, there was no sign that the ailment could be cured. The mere thought that cancer is medically incurable was another burden she had to contend with. There were many agonising nights when her distraught mother would weep over the unfortunate lot that had befallen her daughter.

In January 2016, Uzoamaka visited The SCOAN and received prayers from Prophet T.B. Joshua in the Prayer Line. She had been watching Emmanuel TV prior to that visit and had faith to receive her healing from God. After receiving prayers and deliverance from the man of God, Uzoamaka slept peacefully for the first time in many months. In a matter of days, her cancerous breast healed and the blood and puss that usually oozed from the cancerous wound dried up.

DEPRESSION LOSES ITS EVIL GRIP IN JESUS’ NAME

A Ugandan living in the UK with her family, Edna Mayindo suddenly started to have issues with her eyesight from an early age. Her vision became inexplicably blurred – a situation that warranted the attention of doctors. After careful examination, it was discovered that she needed to wear glasses. She became disturbed and could not perform as excellently as she used to do in school. Her mates bullied her a lot and that added to the psychological burden she carried. She began to feel that she did not belong to this world.

In her mind, every other person was better than her. Because of the seeming rejection she experienced amongst her peers, she had no one with whom she could share her problems. She resorted to self-pity accompanied by bouts of crying and absolute resignation to a hostile fate. As an escapist measure from all her worries, she harboured suicidal thoughts and expressed them by cutting her wrist with a blade. She had also taken a drug overdose and ended up unconscious. Worse still, she once stated that she was going to commit suicide by jumping in front of a moving train. Edna had nightmares in which unseen forces urged her to jettison the things of God and follow the ways of the world. Though she knew and liked the things of God, she could not explain why it was difficult serving Him in Spirit and in truth. She became addicted to the internet and alcohol and spent her money buying things she never really wanted – all in search of happiness.

After going from one church to the other in search of solution, something soon happened that changed her life. Pen ultimate Sunday, Edna visited The SCOAN in company of her mother. During the ministration of the Morning Water in Jesus’ name, the evil spirits tormenting her manifested and confessed all their attempts to destroy her. She received deliverance and all things became new for the young woman who was once an object in the hands of evil spirits. Thanking God during last Sunday’s service, Edna and her mother expressed joy for what He has done in their lives. Edna advised people all over the world to stand on the Word of God.

It was an atmosphere filled with the power of God. From the ministration of the choir to the ministration of the Morning Water, the kingdom of darkness was thrown into confusion. Evangelists led the initial onslaught against satan and his evil works as they ministered the Morning Water to the congregation. As the anointing in the Morning Water hit the target, many who were possessed and oppressed by evil spirits manifested and fell under the influence of the Holy Spirit. As the battle raged on, the host of Heaven inflicted heavy casualties on the kingdom of darkness as the afflicted and oppressed were delivered and set free from the grip of the devil.

 Ministering prophecy, Prophet T.B. Joshua laid hands on many congregants who came with different challenges. As obstinate as the challenges were, the power of prophecy laid them bare and offered spiritual insight on how they can be solved. In addition, the man of God also ministered deliverance to congregants even as they confirmed the prophecies to be very true. Admonishing congregants, the man of God enjoined them not to focus on their challenges but to focus on their Creator who is greater than all challenges: “We talk about the battle instead pf the One fighting for us.”

He encouraged Christians to maintain a joyful disposition in times of trouble, sickness or hardship, stressing that no hardship or sickness would last if we are happy from the heart: “Once you stop trading your joy with your situation, you always overcome.” He also urged Christians to pray for God’s grace so as not to fall prey to the pressures of the world: “Lord Jesus, give me the grace not to be ignorant of my faith under the pressure or tension of temptation.” A brother who was under the yoke of a generational stomach ulcer testified to his miraculous healing after the man of God laid hands on him.

Several testimonies sent via email were also read out concerning how Prophet T.B. Joshua’s message the previous Sunday titled, ‘Let God Release You’ had brought reconciliation and peace to many lives and homes.

Earlier, Evangelist Evelyn Joshua in her message titled YOUR TRUE IDENTITY, called on Christians to embrace the Spirit of God and abide by the dictates of His Word rather than long ignorantly for the freedom of the world which comes with many negative effects. According to her, it is man’s endless quest for freedom that has jeopardised his relationship with God: “The quest for freedom brought us out from where God had placed us.” She further explained that true freedom comes from God and described it thus: “Freedom is when you are no longer under the dominion, control and captivity of satan.” In furtherance of her submission that we can only have our true identity through God, she added: “In God, you move, live and have your being… Only God can tell what we are because He judges men by their hearts.” Concluding, she left the following counsel for Christians: “Believe in God’s Word; confess the Word every day and do not change your confession every other day.”

Talking about his prophecies for the year 2016, the man of God recalled that the things he said have come to pass. A couple of congregants also corroborated what the man of God said. Some families told congregants how they were able to beat the ongoing recession by storing food items after the man of God had made the 2016 prophecies last year. Concerning the year 2017, the man of God told congregants, “YOUR FAITH WILL NOT FAIL.” According to him, the coming year will come with serious challenges but he urged those who put their trust in God not to panic as God would see them through. He described 2017 as the bridge that will lead to a refreshing period in 2018, stating that there will be a general sense of reprieve in the second month of that year.

Meanwhile, a delegation of Hausa men from the northern Nigerian state of Jigawa led by Mallam Mohammed Ali visited The SCOAN in search of help from the man of God. According to the group, the man of God had always sent foodstuff and cash to them but for a while now, the largesse has not been forthcoming.  Mallam Mohammed Ali and his group therefore decided to come to the church to make their pleas known. They lamented the largescale hunger and deprivation they have been suffering for some time, adding that their children are falling sick and are almost dying of hunger due to the ongoing recession ravaging Nigeria. They submitted that it is only the man of God who could understand their plight because he had been very charitable to them, irrespective of their tribe and religion. After the service, the sum of N700,000 was given to the delegation to support them.

The faith of the congregants was lifted up as they listened to the divine teachings from Prophet T.B. Joshua in a message titled, ‘Pay Attention To God.’ Aside from the awe-inspiring testimonies and beautiful renditions from the choir, Prophet T.B. Joshua spoke extensively on the concept of faith and how Christians are expected to apply it to their lives. According to the man of God, “If you pay attention to God’s Word, you will find that faith comes spontaneously, that is naturally.” He further observed that one cannot have faith by just memorising the Word of God. “It is good to memorize; it is valuable but it must become an integral part of you.” He likened memorising the Bible without it being a part of you to storing water in the mouth without swallowing it: it is a waste. “To live the Bible is to allow it to become an integral part of us.”
The man of God also reminded Christians that being in possession of the Bible or bearing the name “Christian” does not confer on them the privilege of having faith. Instead, faith is only available in those whom Jesus knows: “That you have a Bible or are a Christian does not mean you have faith, until Jesus knows you.”
Summing up his message, the man of God observed that “The Word of God is Spirit that has the ability to develop a spiritual force within our hearts called faith.”

In an earlier message titled ORDER YOUR WORDS ARIGHT, Evangelist Racine urged Christians to rise above the challenges and trials of life by confessing victory and triumph even in the face of the discouraging realities of life, adding that many people today are unnecessarily weighed down by their earthly worries: “Many people are walking in their situation. They murmur and grumble and speak as common people.” According to him, the life of a Christian will always go to the level of his or her words. He also noted that good Christians would surely have their faith tested as a mark of spiritual maturity and growth in the knowledge of the things of God: “As a man or woman of faith, your faith will be tested by facts and experience. Tests and trials are meant for our belief. Trials and temptations determine where you are spiritually. Prophet T.B. Joshua says that challenges reveal the true condition of our heart.”
Continuing, he urged Christians to repose their faith in God in all circumstances, stressing that, “We overcome by faith. Faith is a force that moves our words to work.” Evangelist Racine also reminded Christians that faith acts on the Word of God which is a reflection of His will: “The Word is a seed of divine life that comes into the heart and causes faith to grow.” He therefore encouraged believers to observe their supplications in accordance with the will of God: “When you ask and pray according to His will, your prayer is answered.”
Concluding, he urged Christians to realise who they really are and the power they wield as children of God. “There is power in your mouth. The belief in your heart is released by faith out of your mouth. God’s Word in the midst of your heart gives you an authority in Heaven.”

TESTIMONIES
NO MAN CAN KIDNAP FIRE

Mr and Mrs John Ughamadu were targeted to be kidnapped but escaped by whiskers. However, the same could not be said of their house help and a neighbour’s wife who were whisked away by the criminals. Soon after they were abducted, a communication ensued between the abductors and the victims’ families. The abductors were a bit disappointed when they realised that the person they had thought was Mr Ughamadu’s wife was in actual fact his house help, an orphan who they had adopted as their child. Their disappointment was inconsequential as it did not stop them from placing a ransom of one hundred million naira each on the two women.
After several pleas from Mr Ughamadu and his neighbour, the kidnappers called to inform them that the ransom had been reduced to fifty million naira each. But even at that, the money involved was just too much for the men. At that juncture, Mr Ughamadu who had been a staunch member of The SCOAN and an Emmanuel TV Partner, summoned courage and decided to exercise his faith. He put a call through to The SCOAN Prayer and Counselling hotlines. An evangelist picked up his call and listened carefully to his dilemma. The evangelist urged him to call the kidnappers and tell them that the house help is a spiritual daughter to Prophet T.B. Joshua and that they should release her unconditionally.
When Mr Ughamadu communicated the evangelist’s instruction to the kidnappers, there was apparent confusion in their camp and for the first time in a couple of days, he was allowed to speak with his adopted daughter. Sensing that their deal was already undone by the mere mention of the name T.B. Joshua, they resorted to keeping Mr Ughamadu incommunicado and shifted their attention to his neighbour. But all efforts to extort money from him also failed. Left with no other option and perturbed by fear, the criminals eventually released the women after sixteen days of captivity.
During their testimony last Sunday at The SCOAN Mr and Mrs Ughamadu, in company of their house help and adopted daughter, thanked God for the marvellous thing He has done in their lives. Both husband and wife as well as the girl took turns to praise Him for what He Has done. They were unanimous in their advice to people all over the world: “Hold on to your faith and don’t give up. Your faith in God will see you through.”
THE POWER OF GOD – TOO HOT FOR LIVER INFECTION

Corporal Yerimah Ojoh was on a United Nations Peace-keeping Mission in Darfur, Sudan, when he suddenly developed a strange ailment that rendered him bedridden. The Nigerian soldier had to rely on colleagues for support in order to walk to and from hospital. After various hospitals in Darfur failed to diagnose the cause of his problem, he was referred to a specialised military hospital. It was there that doctors discovered that he had a liver infection that defied medical solution. While the military authorities in Sudan were making arrangements to redeploy him and another sick soldier back to Nigeria, in the event that their conditions deteriorate, Corporal Ojoh summoned faith and decided to pray along with Prophet T.B. Joshua on a colleague’s laptop in their hostel.
After that prayer, an incident he would never forget occurred that night. In a trance-like encounter, a voice beckoned on him to rise from the bed. As he arose, he found two of his own frame still lying on the bed. The voice then went on to say. “I created you without any problem. Now, these two bodies represent you. Which of them do you want? The one with sickness or the one without sickness?” Corporal Ojoh who also doubles as a pastor answered and chose the body without sickness. He was then told to enter the body without sickness by the voice. As soon as he entered that body, a strange but fresh surge of energy came into his body. He went into jubilation and was joined by other soldiers in praising God. Since that day, he has had no cause to visit the hospital save for a confirmation test he carried out on the advice of his wife. The result showed that his liver function was normal.
Testifying at The SCOAN last Sunday, Corporal Ojoh thanked God for restoring his health even when he was on the throes of death. He however regretted the death of his colleague who was referred to Nigeria but could not make it home alive. He also urged ministers of God to jettison the politics and sentiments of denominationalism and work together as one family of Christ. He left the following advice to sick people all over the world: “You should connect to God by faith through the prayer of Prophet T.B. Joshua.”
HOLY SPIRIT ENDS THE REIGN OF A SPIRIT WIFE
He had been tormented by a spirit wife right from his childhood. Mr Innocent Chinedu would find himself eating and having sexual intercourse in the dream. He experienced stagnation and could not have a successful marriage because each time he tried to settle down with a woman, the spirit wife would wreak havoc and frighten the woman away. The Nigerian living in the USA would eventually have an encounter with God through Emmanuel TV. While flipping through TV channels in his home in the United States, he came across the testimony of a brother who had the same spirit wife issue on Emmanuel TV. The mere fact that the brother received his deliverance ignited Mr Chinedu’s faith with passion and a sense of urgency to push for his own.
Remembering how the ruthless spirit wife had destroyed his earlier marriages, Mr Chinedu decided to pray along with the man of God on Emmanuel TV. In April, 2013, he laid his hands on the TV screen and prayed with the man of God. In an instant, he felt something get out of his body while a heat sensation took all over him. After a while, he felt a breath of fresh air. That same 2013, Mr Chinedu returned to Nigeria and got married to his new wife without any problem. When he went back to the USA after his wedding, he had a strange dream encounter in which the man of God woke him from sleep to alert him of the physical presence of an evil bat trying to attack him in his room. Mr Chinedu finally hit the bat down and sprinkled the Morning Water on it. After disposing of the dead bat, Mr Chinedu’s life further changed for the better.
Even business-wise, he is doing well. He no longer has financial challenges. Indeed, God has turned his life around. Testifying in company of his wife and brother, Mr Chinedu expressed profound gratitude to the Almighty God for bringing total peace into his life. He advised people all over the world to install Emmanuel TV in their homes because it brings the presence of God.
DELIVERED FROM DEMONIC OPRESSION

Mr James Joseph was sent to school to study but decided to pursue other fancies. He jettisoned his academic pursuits and dabbled into cultism, alcoholism, drug use and night-crawling. He would use his school fees and allowances to drink alcohol and sniff cocaine in company of his friends who shared his kind of thinking and attitude. Matters got worse for him to the extent that his elder sister began to see him in her dreams lurking around the corners of death. She had to intervene through pleas for him to come down to Lagos and encounter God at The SCOAN.
Mr Joseph visited The SCOAN on 20th December, 2015 and was caught in a cross-fire of the Morning Water ministration against all the antics of the kingdom of darkness. As soon as the Morning Water hit him, the evil spirit tormenting him manifested and was cast out of him. After his deliverance, Mr Joseph’s life has taken a very promising and glorious shape. Those irresponsible behaviours have taken flight. He enjoys an unprecedented inner peace and has since reconciled with his parents who had been grossly disappointed with his former ways of life. Mr Joseph has since completed his studies and has been awarded a degree in Biochemistry, despite having missed several papers due to his former ways of life. Thanking God in company of his in-law, Mr Joseph regretted the time he wasted living an irresponsible life. He called on youths to avoid evil associations. He advised them to give God a chance in their lives.
SHATTERED LEG RECEIVES DIVINE OPERATION

Miss Otaru Evelyn was involved in a tricycle accident in September last year. Her leg was seriously affected to the extent that on-lookers and even the doctor who later attended to her said she was going to undergo amputation because according to them, the leg was badly damaged. But Miss Otaru would not bulge. She insisted on going God’s way much to the consternation of the doctor who threatened to send her home for being unnecessarily stubborn. She demanded for her wallet and from it brought out a Good Morning Sticker and placed it on her leg. There was an instant effect. A leg that had remained unimaginably stiff, gradually became flexible.
The doctor, unable to convince her to accept amputation, sent her home. But for Miss Otaru, she was being pushed to exercise her faith in God. Back home, everyone avoided her because of the offensive nature of her wound. Miss Otaru was unperturbed. Instead, she sent for the Morning Water. As she intensified her prayers with the ministration of the Morning Water, miraculously, the pieces of dead bones fell off Miss Otaru’s affected leg and she was eventually healed, against all odds and discouraging remarks by people around her who had thought she would end up as an amputee. It could only have been God for a leg which was badly damaged to heal completely. During her testimony, a visibly elated Miss Otaru advised people all over the world to hold on to God because there is nothing He cannot do.
RESCUED FROM THE YOKES OF POVERTY AND INDEBTEDNESS
Mr Godwin Adiga was a successful businessman until the devil came onto the scene. A man who ran a petrol station became indebted, stagnated and oppressed by the spirit of lack. The more he and his wife sought help from different places, the more heartbroken they became. There was a church that asked them to sell one of their trucks and sow a seed into the ministry. As they grappled with the debts on their shoulders, the bank that they were indebted to even threatened to dispose of their petrol station in order to recoup their money.
A friend of the family told Mr Adiga about The SCOAN and advised him to seek the face of God there. Mr Adiga visited The SCOAN last year and received his deliverance during the ministration of the Morning Water. The spirit wife and family idol that had been oppressing him all manifested before they were sent back to the pit of hell. After his deliverance, many changes occurred in his life. The spirit of anger and lack of affection for his wife have all gone for good. He has paid off all his debt and now has more than enough to take care of his family. His business has also returned to boom time. Mr Adiga had the following words of advice for people all over the world: “When you are going through the storms of life, always focus on God and stop doubting.”

RESCUED AND DELIVERED FROM THE SNARES OF AN EVIL WOMAN

When Emmanuel enrolled at a university in his native Ghana to read Maritime, little did he know that striking acquaintance with a strange woman he’d caught sight of a first time would soon evolve into another journey in parallel to his academic pursuit. It all began when he offered to give her a lift home on his way from the university campus. It was there that a strange relationship started – and with it, his freedom drifted away. The first thing that she told him was that every first female in her family are kept for two weeks in a room and covered with red oil in a ritual. He did not consider it strange.
The relationship reached a crescendo and became almost undoable to the extent that the lady threatened to kill him if he ever dared to leave her. The young man received the shock of his life when the lady intercepted him while he was urinating and dipped her finger into his pee and back into her mouth. As bamboozled as he was, he took the whole thing as part of the oddities of a love relationship. Afterwards, whenever he wanted to urinate, the lady would kneel in front of him and drink his urine.
The despicable routine continued while Emmanuel became lost in sin. He was enmeshed in fornication and pornography and lost complete focus on his academic pursuits. She wanted to be happy at all times; she never bothered about his own happiness. She ensured that he never communicated with anyone else except her. Even calling his mother on phone led to quarrels. She bought him everything and made it impossible for him to receive anything from anyone else. According to him, the body cream she always bought for him enabled her to know his exact location at all times.
Emmanuel was shell-shocked when he saw a dog that she had given him consuming the urine he had passed out on the sand. And for the fact that the dog remained the same size all the while, he became suspicious. Emmanuel suddenly became an induced glutton. She would encourage him to eat and eat and eat until he started bloating. His manhood also started feeling funny. By this time, his academic performance had become abysmal.
Emmanuel had an encounter with Emmanuel TV and since that day, he started worshipping with The SCOAN in Ghana. As he intensified his fellowship with the children of God and continued to watch Emmanuel TV, he discovered that some of the things he used to do no longer appealed to him. Even the lady was surprised when he told her he was no longer interested in the immoral acts they carried out together. Emmanuel suddenly realised that his understanding had been held captive by the devil. On one occasion, he found the lady with a lot of snakes on her head. After that frightening experience, he attended a Sunday service in the Ghana branch of The SCOAN and received his deliverance through the Morning Water medium.
During his deliverance testimony last Sunday, Emmanuel recounted how he was always flying in his dreams and having sexual intercourse with strange people. According to the young man who is presently living in the United States of America, he has since graduated from the university and is doing very well now. He is gainfully employed and is no longer connected to the lady. He is married with a son and is expecting another child soon. Emmanuel advised people all over the world in the following words: “This battle is not against flesh and blood but against powers and principalities.”

The SCOAN Revival Service witnessed a massive turnout of people from different parts of the world. Arriving in their thousands, the sick and all others who had one issue or the other believed that Jesus Christ would turn their situations around. The first day of the revival was power-packed. The man of God ministered healing to a multitude of people, including those who had been confined to wheelchairs for years, HIV/AIDS patients, people with mental challenges and those with various spiritual problems. The power of God was at its zenith on that day, being Friday, December 9, 2016. Many people who had received their healing in the past also turned out to share their testimonies as a boost of faith for those believing God for theirs.

On Saturday, December 10, 2016, Prophet T.B. Joshua led the Prophetic Service that saw a lot of hidden problems unfolded concerning many congregants. The man of God also gave insights into what the future holds for some. Many also received deliverance through prophetic words. During Mass Prayer, many were set free from the oppression of the devil. Sunday, December 11, 2016 witnessed a plethora of testimonies to the glory of God. The entire service was brought to a powerful end with songs of praise and worship after evangelists ministered the Morning Water to congregants.

In his message titled YOUR FAITH WILL NOT FAIL, the man of God reminded Christians of their place in the world, stating that, though they may encounter challenges, they will always come out triumphant because they are in Christ Jesus Who is the Author and Finisher of their faith. According to the man of God, “If you are genuinely born again, nothing can separate you. Your faith may fail but not utterly.” Speaking further, he told Christians that they are not above attack. Citing the experience of Job, he submitted that, though satan may seek permission from God to test a Christian’s faith, he cannot destroy him/her: “As it was with Job, with God’s permission, satan can tempt or attack you but cannot destroy you. In the same light, if you are a true born again Christian, satan can attack you only if God permits.”

The man of God concluded by urging Christians to brace up for the coming year 2017, adding that they must learn to live within their incomes. He warned against unnecessary spending and extravagance. He also advised them on certain management principles that will see them through the economic downturn that is affecting nations all over the world: “This coming year, you have to learn to cut your coat according to your size.”

TESTIMONIES

CANNIBAL EXPOSED AND DELIVERED DURING PROPHETIC SERVICE

Coming from a family that had a terrible reputation in witchcraft and other fetish activities, the young man from Uganda lived a very horrible life. He was a cannibal that went to the extent of exhuming corpses from cemeteries just to eat them together with his fellow cannibals. He had dug a deep pit in his house in which he would push unsuspecting victims into. If the fall did not kill them, he would finish them off and eat their flesh fresh. Aside from his cannibalistic appetite, the young man also lived a wayward life fathering five different children with five different women. His actions took a toll on his mental state as he always thought he was going to run mad.

When his activities got to public domain, he was arrested and was even sent to prison a few times. He later encountered Emmanuel TV and discovered that God is at work at The SCOAN. It was the psychological burden of all his atrocities that brought him to The SCOAN to seek for deliverance. According to him, he knew it was only Prophet T.B. Joshua that could deliver him. During the prophetic service last Saturday, the Ugandan was fished out by Prophet T.B. Joshua through a prophetic Word and the urge to eat his fellow human beings left him. After that encounter, the young man confessed all his evil deeds, declaring that he has been delivered by God through Prophet T.B. Joshua. He vowed never to go back to his evil past and also pledged to continue in the ways of the Lord.

MALIGNANT LEG ULCER/SKIN DISEASE SUCCUMB TO THE POWER OF GOD

For six years, Mrs Maria Ikezue battled with a malignant leg ulcer and skin disease that rendered her incapable of doing many things. First, it immobilised her, making it difficult for her to carry out most of her domestic chores. For the woman who hails from Anambra State, Nigeria, life was at its lowest ebb. She could not cook for her children but rather depended on them for her daily survival. They aided her every effort to the extent that whenever she wanted to ease herself, they had to get a bucket for her. The severe pains that came with the ulcer also gave her a hell of a time. Mrs Ikezue visited many churches, native doctors and hospitals but could not find a solution.

One day while lamenting her condition, she had sought the help of her brother who advised her to visit The SCOAN. Mrs Ikezue heeded her brother’s advice and came down to The SCOAN. She proceeded to the Prayer Line where it took just a touch from the man of God to end her years of pain and anguish. According to her, as soon as the man of God touched her, she felt something fly out of her and that was it. By the night of that very day, she had woken up from sleep to discover that the watery sore on her leg had miraculously dried up. Thanking God during her testimony, she advised people all over the world to desist from visiting native doctors as they have no solution to offer. She however urged them to run to Jesus who remains the solution to all the fundamental problems of life.

HIV/AIDS DESTROYED BY THE HOLY SPIRIT

Mr Adams had been treating Malaria and Typhoid for five years but unknown to him then, he was carrying the deadly disease called HIV/AIDS. For those five years, he experienced a lot of pains and discomfort accompanied by many sleepless nights. In the year 2000, Mr Julius Adams visited the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital known then as Ayinke General Hospital. There, he was diagnosed with HIV/AIDS. After the result of the test was made known to him, Mr Adams knew he had only one option to seek God’s intervention or die slowly and painfully too. By this time, he was already aware of the awe-inspiring exploits of Prophet T.B. Joshua in the vineyard of God and decided to visit The SCOAN.

According to him, when he arrived at The SCOAN, he discovered that there were several other people who had the same problem. The man of God ushered them into the auditorium in a queue with each carrying a placard displaying their problems. As soon as the man of God stretched his hand towards Mr Adams, something unforgettable happened. A dark shadow came out of his body. While he was still trying to contain his bewilderment, the shadow had disappeared. Right from that moment, all the symptoms of HIV/AIDS that he had exhibited for five years ceased to be. There was even more bewilderment when he returned to the hospital for a confirmation test. After the test, the doctor was shocked beyond description as to how the incurable disease disappeared from his system. Mr Adams had to ‘educate’ the doctor on the omnipotence of God.

Thanking God for bringing him back from a state of hopelessness, near-death and anguish to one of hope, life and joy, he advised people all over the world to hold on to God, adding that He is the only One who can cure HIV/AIDS which has continued to defy medical solution to date.

“I CAN HEAR AGAIN!” – Hungarian Healed By Jesus Christ

Evelyn Balassy had come all the way from Hungary to The SCOAN with the problem of severe hearing loss. Since the tender age of eight years, she had experienced this problem which had made her a public spectacle because of the great embarrassment it caused. She was operated on at a young age but it didn’t change her condition. She was still unable to hear anything with her right ear. She was forced to wear a hearing aid which caused her great discomfort as the only temporary relief to her problem. The doctors had told her that it was nerve damage in her ears that caused the hearing loss and that it would never improve; she simply had to live with it for the rest of her life. Upon coming to The SCOAN in desperate search for a final solution to her predicament, she received a divine touch from God Almighty through His servant, Prophet T.B. Joshua. After she received her healing, she started hearing normally with her right ear and no longer has to use the hearing aid! Now, she can hear perfectly and she has been restored to the glory of God!

MR ANTHONY AND 29 OTHERS HEALED OF INABILITY TO WALK

Assistant Superintendent Laar Anthony of the Nigerian Security and Civil Defense Corps had been on the wheelchair for two months. He woke up one day to discover that he could not walk, having lost sensation in his legs. He was taken to many hospitals and churches but there was no sign of improvement in his condition. He also tried native medicine which also did not offer any reprieve. Through the help of his family, Anthony was introduced to The SCOAN. During the 2-day revival service held from December 9 to 11, 2016, he was among the multitude of people who received their healing.

Anthony was healed by God through Prophet T.B. Joshua who only laid hands on him and commanded him to walk. As soon as Anthony got up on his feet, there was jubilation amongst his family members who came with him. One of them lifted his wheelchair to show the world how marvelous the works of God are. Anthony was among 29 other people who were healed of inability to walk due to various medical conditions. After their healing, the man of God gave the thirty of them two bags of rice each and the sum of twenty thousand naira each for their transportation back to their different destinations.

Thanking God for his healing, Anthony could not conceal his joy. He described the day of his healing as a new chapter in the story of his life and thanked the man of God for reaching out to them materially, especially at a time when the entire nation is feeling the effects of the economic recession ravaging it.

YOKE OF ADDICTION TO DRUGS BROKEN BY THE ANOINTING

Mr Jaspal Bharya had been addicted to cannabis smoking from a very young age. The Tanzanian became unrestrictedly free when he travelled to the United Kingdom to further his education. There, he enjoyed unlimited freedom compared to those times when he had to hide from his parents in order to satisfy his urge for smoking. His addiction took a terrible toll on his finances as he would sell his personal effects just to satiate his appetite for cannabis. He sold his wrist watches, gold chains and phone.

For twenty-two years, Mr Bharya lived with his addiction. He became confused and could not concentrate on any useful venture. Apart from cannabis, he also experimented with cocaine and other hard drugs. Because of his untoward behavior, he was humiliated by family members who found it hard to come to terms with the shame he was bringing to them. Somehow, he became an outcast. During his younger years, his parents also stopped giving him pocket money. Later in life, even his marriage was not spared as he was separated from his wife and children as a result of his bad lifestyle.

Mr Bharya got to know about Prophet T.B. Joshua through his father. The Tanzanian who now resides in the UK visited The SCOAN and received his deliverance from the man of God. According to him, the day he arrived at The SCOAN, he was looking for a way to go and take his drugs but thank God that after his deliverance, that evil urge had gone for good. He now sleeps better and has peace in his life. He urged people all over the world, especially smokers and non-smokers to desist from the act as it comes with many negative health consequences.

PROPHETIC WORD ON AGRICULTURE TRANSFORMS AN ENTIRE COMMUNITY

Two years ago, Prophet T.B. Joshua had released a prophetic word, urging congregants and nations all over the world to return to agriculture, adding that the reliance on oil will soon spell doom for many countries of the world. Back in Malawi, Mr Richard Nkhwazi was watching Emmanuel TV and was inspired by the prophetic word. He thereafter conveyed the message to his entire community which had 24, 000 hectares of uncultivated land. Most of the inhabitants of that community were rustic poor people who could not finance any form of agricultural project on their own and so, needed support.

Mr Nkhwazi therefore solicited the support of a private organisation which got interested and provided some financial support to the community. As cultivation began, the Malawian government also got involved and made available funds for the construction of dams, canals and other useful resources. Other private organisations from India and South Africa also got involved, making the project a very huge one with international status. With the level of investments channeled into the project, it will create jobs for many and also provide food for the community and beyond. According to Mr Nkhwazi, over 5,000 thousand people, including the less privileged will benefit from the project.

Thanking God for granting him the grace to key into the prophetic word of the man of God, Mr Nkhwazi urged people all over the world to take the words of a prophet seriously because they convey the righteous thoughts of God.

THE BLOOD OF JESUS WIPES AWAY EVERY EVIL BLOOD

Since 2011, she had been bleeding through all the orifices in her body. She also had nightmares in which strange people would forcefully sleep with her while others tried to inflict bodily injuries on her. She also dreamt of strange beings with odd frames. While all that happened, Hope would not tell her mother. She preferred to keep it all to herself. By the year 2013, the attacks had become so recurrent that she could no longer hide them. She would bleed from her eyes, nose, ears and skin. Most times, her pillows were stained by the blood from her eyes, nose and ears.

The young South African became depressed with the strange developments happening right in her own body. There was a time she started having prolonged menstruation which would span 40 days at a time. Her aunt would eventually let the cat out of the bag by reporting the matter to her mother. When her mother confronted her about the whole saga, Hope cried. But alas, her tears were bloody. It got to an extent that her friends in school started deserting her because they believed she was an evil child. In search of spiritual solace, she would resort to reading her Bible but each time she did, she wept blood. Because of the seeming insoluble nature of her problems, she had considered suicide on several occasions.

A mysterious hair loss also set in to compound her already complicated case. Hope tried to give hope to her mother by covering up the hair loss issue. The financial implication of her travails was immense as she had to be placed on a lot of medications which ended up proving unbeneficial. The family was able to visit The SCOAN months back and Hope was delivered during a Sunday service through the ministration of the Morning Water. The young woman who was raped three times, first at age 8, had surely seen many horrible things in her life. But since after her deliverance, behold, old things have passed away and all things have become new in Christ Jesus. The bleeding, the depression and the suicidal thoughts have given way to the peace of God.

Thanking God in company of her mother and sister, Hope advised young people all over the world not to focus on their circumstances but to concentrate on Jesus because He cares for them. According to her, no matter the situation, God still Has something to say. She also urged them to make God’s Word the standard for their lives.

SPIRIT OF SUICIDE PUT TO END BY JESUS CHRIST

“Since I was born, I would always cry.” Mrs Heide Menzel, from Germany, grew up with a feeling of rejection from her father, since childhood. From the age of six years old, she would always ask God why she was even alive. From that young age, she even tried committing suicide. This became a regular occurrence in her life, trying and failing to end her life. There was not a single night that went by that Mrs Heide would not dream of death. “I felt rejected and imprisoned in my own body. I always thought something was wrong with me.”

Realising that this problem was not one that she wanted to carry for the rest of her life, she began seeking a solution. Coming from a religious home, she tried to get close to Jesus Christ but always felt like there was barrier between her and God. She became so desperate that she started trying anything, including dry fasting, to attract the attention of God. “No matter what I did, I always felt a barrier because I was trying to force the hand of God.” She started reading books about deliverance and began to search YouTube for deliverance ministries. That was how she came across Emmanuel TV. After watching a few times, she became hooked and began to feel there was hope for her situation. She could relate to so many of the testimonies that she had seen and had a strong urge to come to The SCOAN. This desire came to fruition last Sunday as she partook in the Live Service.

The Spirit of God located her as Prophet TB Joshua gave her a word of prophecy saying, “You are depressed. There is a suicide problem from your father’s side.” It finally made sense! For so many years she didn’t know what the cause of her pain was, to now discover that it was a spirit of suicide tormenting her. She came to The SCOAN feeling so desperate, but after receiving deliverance from the evil spirit, she has now come to testify to the glory of God for her newfound freedom. The burden lifted and feeling like a new person, she testified, “I now feel joy and I feel so full of love.” She gave a strong word of advice to all who were listening, “Please endure – don’t end your life because Jesus loves you so much!”

“I CAME, UNABLE TO WALK BUT LEFT, WALKING!”

Mrs Alice Amara and daughter came to The SCOAN for the Friday Healing Service in a vehicle because she couldn’t walk for the past five years. She had lumbar spondylosis which had rendered her completely unable to cater for her own needs, even the most basic and necessary ones! She had gone to many orthopaedics and hospitals, searching for a solution but they were all unable to provide any relief to her ever-nagging pain. She confessed that in search for healing, she had gone to many spiritualists who had demanded for her to pay up to 50,000 naira for her to receive that miracle. Unfortunately, after paying the required amounts at various places, the solution never came. She decided to come to The SCOAN, saying to herself
that it would be her last bus stop. As she arrived at The SCOAN, she remained in her car outside of the church because she was unable to walk by herself into the auditorium. As the man of God, Prophet T.B. Joshua came out of the church to pray for her, she received her healing and immediately started walking majestically, all to the glory of God. Since that day, she can walk freely, painless and limitless, all thanks to the resurrection power of Jesus Christ!

Finally, she is advising viewers to believe in Jesus Christ, who is able to heal and set us free, for His glory.

DYING MAN COMPLETELY RESTORED

In 2015, Mrs. Yevgeniy Lee from Kazakhstan received dreadful news about her US-based brother-in-law that he had been shot in the stomach. The bullet, fired by an unknown gang, had penetrated the stomach and ruptured his spinal cord. In the aftermath of the onslaught, the functionality of her brother-in-law’s brain began to dwindle. His vital organs started to fail, resulting in loss of senses in his limbs. His body deteriorated by the second. The medical doctors and nurses assigned to his case had all given up on any hope of Mrs. Yevgeniy Lee’s brother-in-law ever recovering. He remained in a coma, with no hope in sight that any part of his muscles would ever be able to coordinate any movement of his body again. Disturbed by the fact that his sensory organs had been compromised, he had been reduced to a vegetative state and placed on life support in the hospital, the family in both the US and his native Kazakhstan collectively wrote to The SCOAN to seek the face of God.

In December 2015, Mrs. Yevgeniy Lee came to The SCOAN. Although bad news coming in from the US about her brother-in-law were disturbing enough to distract her focus, she continued to pray. After being prayed for by the man of God, Prophet T.B. Joshua, the prophet requested to see a photograph of Mrs. Yevgeniy Lee’s brother-in-law and prayed for him.

After her visit to The SCOAN, all the bad news about Mrs. Yevgeniy Lee’s brother-in-law turned into non-stop good news. Doctors who had booked her in-law for further surgical operations that would have included a kidney transplant, had to cancel the surgery because of the rapid pace at which the young man was making a recovery. All his vital organs bounced back to full life. Doctors, who had once claimed he would never walk again, were left baffled to see how God’s miracle got them to change their confessions. They watched in awe as Mrs. Yevgeniy Lee’s brother-in-law started to eat, talk and walk freely without any support. One of the nurses, who also thought the young man was certain to die, was so dumbstruck by God’s awesome miracle in the man’s life that she fell in love with him and subsequently they got married. The nurse, who never believed in the existence of God, has now given her life to Jesus Christ. The couple has been blessed with a child to the glory of God.

Sharing their joy with the world, Mrs and Mr Yevgeniy Lee advised the congregation and viewers all over the world not to lose faith in God because He is in control and that He will see them through.

The SCOAN Live Sunday Service of December 18, 2016 witnessed the demonstration of God’s everlasting glory. The glorious as well as victorious power of Christ was displayed with the testimonies that greeted the Spirit-filled occasion. The prayer led by Prophet T.B. Joshua further proved that, we as Christians, are drawn in an everlasting battle of supremacy with the kingdom of darkness. The prophecies also revealed the hidden antics of the devil while illuminating the lives of congregants with the resplendent fire of the Holy Spirit.

Speaking about the concept of faith, Prophet T.B. Joshua took Christians on an excursion into the nature and power of faith in their daily living as children of God. He urged them to cultivate Biblical faith which does not deny the existence of a problem and which “…must arise in each person’s heart based on the Word of God”. According to him, “Faith is not an issue of ordering God around”. He lamented the attitudes of some Christians who feel bad and lose faith in God whenever their prayers seem not answered. According to him, God knows best and has His reasons for not answering some prayers. “Who knows what would have happened to you if your prayer for a better life had been answered?” he said.

Earlier in the service, Evangelist Gbenga, in his message, SEEK FIRST THE KINGDOM, had called on believers to put the service of God first in every situation so that they may share in the endless glory that abounds in the Kingdom. He reminded them that life is more beneficial when lived in Christ than in the valueless things of the world: “This life is too short to waste time on things that have no lasting value”.

According to him, this world is not our home; our home is more precious and everlasting than this earth and thus, we are only wayfarers on earth: “This world is not our home. We are only passing through”. Even though this world is not our home, Evangelist Gbenga added that we need God to guide us through the rough edges of a wicked world full of evil and strife: “In our passage through this wicked world into our permanent home, we need God so that we will not dash our feet against a stone”. He also observed that the love of money and material possessions above God is evil, adding that, “When fame, wealth and authority come, we become too busy to serve God”.

Concluding, he urged Christians not to bother about their situations. Citing the account of Job who remained faithful in the face of all the calamities that befell him, he submitted that, “Whoever is great among men, it is God that made them so”.

TESTIMONIES

UNLIKELY SCHOLARSHIP MADE POSSIBLE BY THE POWER OF GOD

In July 2016, Mrs Veronica Nyathi had applied for admission at the University of South Africa  but received no response from the school. A month later, another school, the Gordon Institute of Business Science sent her a mail inviting her to apply for a scholarship. After applying for the scholarship, she embarked on a journey to The SCOAN. While on her way to Nigeria, the Gordon Institute of Business Science contacted her, requesting her availability for an interview. The South African was already at The SCOAN and would not leave the presence of God in a hurry. Having informed them of her mission to Nigeria, the school requested for a telephone interview. Veronica was unperturbed; instead she believed that the scholarship would have to wait for her.

After receiving prayers from Prophet T.B. Joshua, Veronica also received the Morning Water and headed back to South Africa. On her return home, she found another mail requesting for a telephone interview by the school. By the time she called them, they told her that it was too late as the scholarship offer had closed. Somehow, she was not moved by their discouraging response. She believed in her heart that her mission to The SCOAN was not going to be in vain. In a matter of days, the very same school which had told her that the scholarship offer had closed, called her to arrange for another telephone interview. During the interview, one of the panellists enquired about her mission to Nigeria. Veronica was quick to inform them that she had visited The SCOAN for prayers. The panellist surprised her by telling her she was blessed.

Though it was apparent to her that she did not do well in the interview, by the sheer grace of God, she received a mail the next day congratulating her for winning the scholarship offer. All expenses involved in her upcoming studies were shouldered by the school. Thanking God for making the scholarship possible, Mrs Veronica Nyathi ascribed her selection to God’s special grace and nothing else. She also described the scholarship as a rare privilege, citing the fact that the Gordon Institute of Business Science is among the best business schools in the world. While thanking God for also protecting her home later during a burglary incident, she advised people all over the world to live in faith no matter what they are going through, adding that with God, all things are possible.

THE ANOINTING TAKES DOWN LUMBAR SPONDYLOSIS

For eight years, Mrs Adeyanju could not walk as a result of lumbar spondylosis. She had been placed on many analgesics and had used a lumbar corset and knee brace but still could not walk. The fact that her problem started in the United Kingdom, a more advanced society in terms of medical equipment, did not improve her condition. Instead, it made matters worse as she would have to rely on aid to move around. She was almost incapacitated by her condition as she could neither carry out her domestic duties nor do any business. A friend would later introduce her to Emmanuel TV. She started watching the channel and built her faith. She also witnessed the healings that took place during the special healing service to commemorate the birthday of Prophet T.B. Joshua on June 12, 2016.

During the 2-day revival service at The SCOAN from 9 – 10 December, 2016, Mrs Adeyanju was brought to The SCOAN in a car. Prophet T.B. Joshua had to come out of the auditorium to minister healing to her. Laying hands on her and commanding her to stand up and walk, Mrs Adeyanju stood up and walked for the first time in many years. It was to the glory of God as people around, including her two daughters, celebrated her healing in the name of Jesus. During her testimony last Sunday, Mrs Adeyanju told congregants that she did not know how it happened. According to her, she only realised that she could suddenly walk. She also thanked God for using Prophet T.B. Joshua to deliver her daughters who accompanied her to The SCOAN that fateful day.“Trust in God and have faith in Him,” she advised people all over the world.

BLESSED AND FAVOURED THROUGH A PROPHETIC MESSAGE
During the 2012 Candle Light Service, Miss Rita Adzokatse was watching Emmanuel TV live from her home in Ghana. She had heard Prophet T.B. Joshua advise people to return to farming as a way out of the looming economic recession that would cripple many oil-dependent countries of the world. Keying into that prophetic message, Rita started a farm in 2013. Being a graduate of Animal Science, it was even more auspicious for her to engage in farming. And so, as she started the farm, she ministered the Morning Water on it, thereby involving God in the whole thing. In spite of all the challenges she encountered, she kept faith in God and continued to minister the Morning Water.

Early 2016, she was told about an organisation that supports young entrepreneurs and she went ahead to gather information about them. She subsequently applied for support after submitting a business plan. Rita was among 1,300 people whose applications were received and she knew it was going to be a serious battle. After processing the applications, 514 applicants were shortlisted for the next phase. From 514, the final list had 157 applicants shortlisted. Rita was one of the 157. A date was set for the final presentation and it was a 3-day process.

Having prepared for her presentation, Rita ministered the Morning Water and proceeded to the presentation venue. Before she started the presentation, she also ministered the Morning Water. After her presentation, the panel was impressed. Even though there were initial doubts, it was later discovered that she was a practising farmer. After the entire process, Rita returned home and continued praying with the man of God via Emmanuel TV while also ministering the Morning Water and remaining expectant of good news.

Two weeks later, Rita received a mail inviting her for an award. At the award, she received the highest financial support from the organisation to the tune of six thousand pounds. With the money, she acquired over 2,000 birds (layers) for her farm. Rita testified in the company of her sisters. She thanked God for finding her worthy of His favour. She advised people, especially youth who are unemployed, to embrace the prophetic message of Prophet T.B. Joshua concerning agriculture and create jobs for themselves instead of waiting for ready-made jobs.

UNCONTROLLABLE URINATION AND ITS ROOT CAUSE WIPED OUT BY THE HOLY PSIRIT

Mrs Rita Chukwuekwu suffered from uncontrollable urination due to vesicovaginal fistula. The indigene of Delta, Nigeria noticed the anomaly after she delivered a baby through caesarean session. To worsen matters, a surgical needle was also forgotten in her womb, making her need for another surgery very urgent. This myriad of problems made life very difficult for her. She could not breastfeed her baby properly as she found it difficult to sit down for long. She also used a catheter to pass out urine lest she mess up her body. This artificial living continued until she visited The SCOAN.

During a prayer session led by Prophet T.B. Joshua, Mrs Chukwuekwu cried out to the man of God about her problem. Led by the compassionate Spirit of God, Prophet T.B. Joshua laid hands on her and commanded the root cause of her problem out, in the mighty name of Jesus. In the twinkle of an eye, Mrs Chukwuekwu received and declared her healing to the glory of God. She returned to The SCOAN last Sunday to give her testimony in the company of family members.

Thanking God for healing her of an embarrassing health challenge, she lamented the near-death situation in which she had found herself, losing blood profusely and relying on all sorts of support to live. According to her, all that stopped as soon as Prophet T.B. Joshua touched her. Today, she is hale and hearty and is no longer living on medications. She now eats well and drinks water freely unlike in the past. “Put your hope and trust in God and He will see you through,” she advised people all over the world.

YOKE OF BDEWETTING DESTROYED BY THE HOLY SPIRIT

Miss Collette Umeokwara had been labouring under the yoke of bedwetting for a very long time. According to her, the problem started through a dream experience in which she had excused herself from a group of people to go and urinate, only to discover that the deed was also happening physically while she was sleeping on her bed. Since that experience, she had continued to suffer from the problem. She had had to cover up the embarrassing situation on several occasions, especially when she was in school and during her National Youth Service Corps programme.

She could not visit friends or family members because she did not want to embarrass herself. In her desperate search for a solution, Miss Umeokwara had resorted to serious prayers on her own but it appeared the affliction was beyond her capacity. She would eventually attend last Saturday’s prophetic service where the power of God located her through Prophet T.B. Joshua. The man of God saw her case and called her out. As soon as she stepped out from the congregation, Prophet T.B. Joshua commanded the spirit behind the affliction out of her life. As a demonstration of God’s power and victory over her problem, the young woman fell to the ground.

During her testimony last Sunday, she narrated the ordeal she faced while under the yoke of that affliction. According to her, ever since her deliverance, she has not had any of those evil dreams anymore. She thanked God for putting an end to the embarrassing situation she had battled with for years. She also advised people all over the world, especially those having similar challenges not to lose hope but to put their trust in God.

THREATENED MARRIAGE RESTORED BY PROPHECY

Mrs Catherine Tetteh and her husband had both had broken marriages prior to their union three years ago. While Catherine is in her third marriage, her husband is in his second. Their union as husband and wife had been threatened by a lot of misunderstanding occasioned by lack of affection and an unexplained incompatibility. Mrs Tetteh had been harbouring the thought of walking out of her third marriage but somehow reckoned that it was better she sought the face of God at The SCOAN before taking that decision.

During the last Prophetic service held at The SCOAN, the Zimbabwean living in South Africa visited the church in the company of her husband. While Prophet T.B. Joshua was ministering prophecy to congregants, the Holy Spirit led him to see her problem. Mrs Tetteh was moved to tears when Prophet T.B. Joshua told her about the thoughts in her mind concerning her marriage and how she had walked out of previous marriages. The man of God also revealed to her that a spirit was behind all the disappointments she had gone through in all her marriages.

As Prophet T.B. Joshua prophesied to Mrs Tetteh, her husband also came out to receive his own part of the prophecy. The man of God prophesied that the man had quit his first marriage without God releasing him. He also told Mrs Tetteh that she quit her previous marriages without God releasing her. In effect, both husband and wife were victims of failed marriages due to their own impatience and decision not to wait on God. Even though a spirit was behind their marital crisis, they inadvertently made matters worse by side-lining God in the entire equation.

After the prophecy, the couple received counselling and prayers from Prophet T.B. Joshua. They came to The SCOAN last Sunday to thank God for restoring their marriage. While Mrs Tetteh was happy that God revealed the root cause of their problems, her husband expressed joy that God’s opinion about his marriage was confirmed through Prophet T.B. Joshua. “No one can address the problems we face, only God. So, run to Him,” he advised people all over the world.

DELIVERED FROM THE SPIRIT OF CANNIBALISM

The young man was initiated into cannibalism by his mother when he was a child. He grew up to relish human flesh to the extent that he would go to the graveyard to exhume corpses through magical powers and devour them in company of fellow cannibals. Most times, he would dig holes and ditches in his room and trap unsuspecting persons whom he would eventually kill for onward consumption together with his cannibalistic allies. According to the Ugandan, the spirit of cannibalism which his mother afflicted him with through some herbal concoction, was one that could not be easily resisted. Whenever it came upon him, he became blood-thirsty like a lion and began to look unrelentingly for human flesh to consume.

The spirit had sent him to jail on several occasions and yet there was no end in sight to his unwholesome appetite for human flesh. He continued to eat human flesh and had even lost count of the number of people he and his cohorts had eaten. After coming in contact with Emmanuel TV during one of his prison experiences, the young man vowed that he would be delivered at The SCOAN. During the last prophetic service at The SCOAN, he was spotted by Prophet T.B. Joshua and received his deliverance in the mighty name of Jesus.

Testifying last Sunday, he told congregants about the change that has taken place in his life. According to him, the urge to eat human flesh has since disappeared from his life. He no longer experiences those nocturnal encounters with spirits. Instead, the peace from Heaven has taken over his soul. He reminded congregants and people all over the world that “everything can be done in Jesus’ name,” when you seek first the Kingdom.

The 2016 Christmas service at The SCOAN witnessed a blend of celebration and warfare. While congregants exuded illimitable joy on account of the commemoration of the birth of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ, they also used the occasion to unleash holy terror on the kingdom of darkness. The Mass Prayer shook the foundations of the satanical kingdom and caused commotion in the gates of hell. The intensity of the Mass Prayer also brought about deliverance, healing and liberation for those under the many different yokes of the devil. Congregants also made positive confessions of promotion, prosperity, sound health and career progress ahead of the approaching new year.

In his message, The Promise of Liberation, Evangelist Racine urged Christians to look onto Jesus whom the Father sent to liberate us from all the worries and burdens of the world. According to him, “He (Jesus) is the fulfilment of every God’s Word. He is a Light for direction and comfort. A glorious Light that will dispel every shade of darkness in our lives.”  He also assured them, using Biblical references, that their stolen joy would be restored through the coming of our Lord, Jesus Christ.

Urging them to repose their absolute trust in the Son of God, he added that they will never be overwhelmed by the oddities of this world: “When you trust in Jesus Christ, you will never be confounded in time or eternity.” Concluding, he urged Christians never to allow the devil remind them of their past, stressing that their past is over. He also encouraged them to rebuke the evil one by reminding him of his future failure: “When the devil comes to remind you of your past, remind him of his future failure.”

TESTIMONIES

HEALED BY HEAVEN, RECOGNISED BY THE UNITED NATIONS               

Mr Ebenezer First-Quao’s decades-long service with the United Nations as an interpreter witnessed its own sad times. The Ghanaian would suddenly be hit by a nasty ailment that threatened his career. Each time he went to the restroom to ease himself, he came out weak. Visiting a specialist hospital in his Ethiopia base, he was diagnosed with severe haemorrhoids with thrombosis. The doctors had suggested the option of surgery but his wife would rather have the matter tabled before God; she encouraged her husband to visit The SCOAN, having become an ardent viewer of Emmanuel TV after some initial scepticism.

Visiting The SCOAN in 2009, exactly the same time when the late Ghanaian President, Atta-Mills held a thanksgiving at the church, Mr First-Quao received prayers from Prophet T.B. Joshua. During the prayer, he felt an unprecedented calmness all around him. That same evening, as he went to ease himself, he felt no more pain even as the blood stains that usually accompanied his visit to the restroom disappeared. Before he left The SCOAN, Mr First-Quao received the Morning Water. He subsequently visited his children in different countries across Europe and ministered it to them.

The entire First-Quao family received great and remarkable blessings thereafter. Apart from receiving academic and business breakthroughs, some of his children also received their citizenship in their various countries of residence in Europe. As for Mr First-Quao himself, he was recognised in retirement by former United Nations Secretary-General, Ban-Ki Moon with an award for an initiative he had spearheaded to assist victims of drought in Ethiopia. He was also blessed financially with a retirement benefit to the tune of five hundred thousand US dollars. He has invested the money into several building projects aside from buying his own house in Addis-Ababa.

According to his wife, during their testimony, coming across Emmanuel TV was the biggest breakthrough they had ever experienced in life. She also submitted that the teachings of Prophet T.B. Joshua have enabled her to discover practical Christianity.

STIFF NECK LOSES ITS STING

Having been diagnosed with a stiff neck due to cervical spondylosis, Mr Francis Ekene was advised to go for a corrective surgery but the Nigerian living in South Africa rejected the idea. Instead, he chose to seek the face of God rather than waste his money on an operation that was without any concrete guarantee. He eventually visited The SCOAN and proceeded to the Prayer Line.

After Prophet T.B. Joshua prayed for him, he noticed that he could turn his hitherto stiff neck. All the debility and excruciating pain that came with the stiff neck stopped. Thanking God during his testimony, Mr Ekene who has since returned to his work, observed that he can now sleep peacefully without discomfort.

According to him, he now drives his car with ease. He advised people all over the world to put their trust in God.

TEN YEARS OF JOBLESSNESS COME TO A GLORIOUS END

For ten years, it was a sad experience of joblessness or at least, having to make do with odd jobs just to keep body and soul together. Sometimes, her daughter would have to intervene to save her from total financial annihilation. Mrs Christiana Abiye Rullich really needed God to bring her dire situation under His control. One of her concerned friends became the angel God used to change her situation. Her friend had learnt about the December 2016 Revival Service on Emmanuel TV and had informed Mrs Rullich about it. In a display of absolute faith, Mrs Rullich purchased her flight ticket and flew down to Nigeria. In her mind, the unending failure to secure a permanent job must succumb to the power of God.

During the Revival Service, Mrs Rullich received prayers from Prophet T.B. Joshua. She also received the Morning Water. After the prayers, she received a letter from Germany, notifying her of her employment for a permanent position which commences on January 2, 2017. Thanking God for the miracle, Mrs Rullich told congregants that the employment is her first permanent one in ten years. The new job comes with several securities including health insurance. She advised people going through her type of challenge to believe in God as the only real Helper.

DIFFICULTY IN WALKING BANISHED BY THE HOLY SPIRIT
Despite the fact that she is a nurse, Princess Caroline Ene could not help herself tackle the ailment that had befallen her. For two years, she suffered from difficulty in walking and had to resort to the use of a lumbar corset. The ailment made her unable to carry out domestic chores. Not even was she able to lift a bucket of water. All her quest for a solution ended in futility. The Nigerian residing in the United States of America had to make the over twelve-hour journey in order to attend the 2016 Revival Service at The SCOAN, Lagos, Nigeria in December.

Mrs Ene was at the Prayer Line where she received the anointed touch of Prophet T.B. Joshua. The power of God through His Prophet uprooted the cause of her problem and made her whole again. Demonstrating her new-found fitness, Mrs Ene urged people all over the world to believe in Jesus as He is the ultimate Healer.

SPIRIT HUSBAND IS BARRED AS MARRIAGE IS RESTORED
Mrs Maduekwe was born to a sangoma-practicing father and had grown up to find herself dreaming of taking over from him. Sometimes, she would dream about herself dressed as a princess. Her problems started after her father’s death when she refused to take over from him as a sangoma practitioner. The sangoma spirit forcefully possessed her and made her do many terrible things, especially in her marriage. Before she married her husband, they both enjoyed unmitigated peace until they got married. The love that bound them together soon took flight. Mrs Maduekwe became a terror. She would become uncontrollably angry and would threaten to injure her husband. Whenever her husband wanted some intimacy, his manhood would die unnaturally.
Mrs Maduakwe had terminated three of her pregnancies and almost lost her life in another attempt to abort a six-months-old pregnancy. She continued to live a violent life and eventually rekindled a relationship with her ex-boyfriend. She even told her husband that the young man was just a cousin. She continued to frolic with her ex-boyfriend as they would meet secretly without her husband having an inkling of their escapades. On his part, Mr Maduekwe also had extra-marital affairs because of his wife’s seeming frigidity. For fourteen years, the marriage hit the doldrums.

The couple visited The SCOAN and encountered the man of God, Prophet T.B. Joshua as he ministered prophecy to congregants. As soon as the prophet approached her, the spirit inside Mrs Maduekwe started manifesting. The man of God went on to tell the couple that the cause of their marital woes was a spiritual husband that had been tormenting Mrs Maduekwe for a long time. The couple thereafter received their deliverance in the mighty name of Jesus. Since their deliverance, the couple have rediscovered the true love that was the hallmark of their early days as a married couple. Mrs Maduekwe urged people all over the world to know that God’s time is the best while her husband added that we should run to God in the face of every marital problem.
