All roads, in the last two weeks, have led to The SCOAN in Lagos, Nigeria. The Arena of Liberty, as it is fondly referred to, has been a beehive of activities with worshippers pouring in from all walks of life and all corners of the world for one major purpose – to humble themselves before God and seek His face as they bid farewell to 2013 and step into 2014. This made the last Sunday service a memorable one to behold. Among the visitors who graced the service were Malawi’s President, Dr Joyce Banda and her husband, retired Chief Justice Richard Banda. A delegation from the nation of South Sudan was also in attendance from the country’s president, General Salva Kiir Mayardit. They came in appreciation of Prophet T.B. Joshua’s prophetic message a few months ago concerning the crisis that recently engulfed the new nation, requesting prayers for Divine intervention.  

The service was also lit up with stars from many sectors of society. Kimmy Skota, a professional opera singer from South Africa who got delivered at the recent Anointing Water Revival held at the New Bingley Hall in Brimingham, UK, came to share her testimony. The singer, who has in her life time performed before high profile audiences across the globe, did more than just testify – she performed alongside The SCOAN choir, to the glory of God and amazement of the congregation. Also on call, to the surprise of Emmanuel TV viewers worldwide and football followers in particular, was Nigeria’s national football team midfielder Ogenyi Onazi. The player, who plies his professional trade at Lazio in Italy, was an amazement to watch as he masterfully manned the church’s keyboard. Onazi is a product of The SCOAN’s youth football team, My People FC and used to play the instrument for the church choir before he ventured on his illustrious football career.

Again, God’s power manifested in abundance through healings, deliverances and prophecies as Prophet T.B. Joshua moved among the congregation ministering prayer by the power of the Holy Spirit. He spoke about the coming year, describing it as a bridge; a delicate, sensitive year. The man of God said, “It is a bridge that connects one to another. If the year is a bridge, what exactly will you expect? It means you have to live modestly. Cut your coat according to your size. It is not a time to walk arrogantly or a time to be proud. A time to cross a bridge is a time to be very careful.”

He continued, “Destiny will work beautifully next year. Destiny – exactly what God has destined for you. If you are very careful, you will cross the bridge successfully. Please, you have to return back to your destiny. What is the meaning of destiny? It is the way of the Lord. This year, you have to return to the way of the Lord!”

Wise Man Daniel preached on the message: ALLOW GOD TO DECIDE which hinged on man’s vulnerability to making wrong decisions when faced with challenges. Picking as proof text Acts 16:18-25, which talks of Paul and Silas’ incarceration, he said it is obvious that before God Almighty came to their rescue in the prison, the two were confined to the harsh realities of life – ‘a very tensed and difficult situation that offered them the opportunity to grumble, to murmur and rebel against their God.’

“But as genuine Christians, instead of seeing their God in bad light, they chose to praise and worship Him. It is in a tensed and difficult situation like this we know the difference between real Christians and professing Christians. As a Christian, if you were to find yourself in the same situation Paul and Silas found themselves, what decision would you have made? Remember, at that point when everything seemed to suggest that, there was no hope and no future, if they were not members of the household of faith, they would have given in to fear and then begin to rebel against their God,” he said, adding however, “they never did that because they knew that the devil wants us – children of God – to curse God while under pains, difficulties or harsh realities of life.”

He said instead of murmuring and grumbling, Christians should let God decide for them. “As a Christian, what becomes of you today depends on how much you involve God in your matter (Psalm 37:5-6). What you will be tomorrow depends on the choices you make today. Remember, blessed is the man who makes Christ Jesus his source; for he will see the reason for his believing, even in hard times,” he stated.

CONFESSIONS FROM THE MARINE WORLD:

Mrs Florence Ucheanya was brought up accustomed to supernatural experiences. At a tender age of five, a ‘mermaid’ appeared to her in a dream, stating that it was her mother. When Florence questioned her biological mother, she confessed that when she was about to give birth to her, some strange beings came to her in a dream to attest that the baby in her womb belonged to them. Growing up, Mrs Ucheanya began to receive instructions from these demonic forces which were appearing to her physically on a regular basis, especially when she was close to a river. One day she had gone to a nearby river only to see a half-human-half-fish creature leap from the river laugh at her. Her mother had previously warned her from going to the river alone. Upon reaching university, she decided to become a Christian and began preaching to young children. However, the deep spiritual entanglements were still very much intact and her involvement in the dark marine world seemed only to intensify. She would nightly attend spiritual meetings in the ‘red sea’ where devilish assignments were dished out, all for the purpose of destruction. After refusing to carry out their intentions, her disobedience backfired in the form of terrible afflictions. Eventually she got married against the severe warnings from the dark entities that possessed her. The spiritualist she went to in search of a solution said the only way out was for her to be buried alive in a grave. Desperate and pushed to her limits, she acceded and was taken to a graveyard. As the sand was slowly heaped upon her body, Mrs Ucheanya found herself spiritually transported into the ocean in the midst of demons. They said she would return to earth on the condition that love was not a word permitted in her dictionary, she would never have a child and would leave the earth aged by 30.

Florence said that her marriage had been characterized by extreme turmoil and distress. Peace was both elusive and evasive. A giant man would sleep with her on a nightly basis, causing constant fights between her and her husband, to the extent that she even kicked her husband in his male organ so that they would not be able to meet as husband and wife again. The nightmare continued as a voice began instructing her to masturbate and then to steal. Anytime she went to public places, a nauseating urge would overpower her to take items, only regaining her senses after the damage was done. It came to a point in her life that suicide seemed the best option as her whole existence became hellish and miserable!

It was at this lowest ebb of her life that hope came in an extraordinary form. Her spiritual husband appeared to her physically to say that death was nigh as he was assigned to kill her that night. At this moment, her husband brought forth the Anointing Water he had received at The SCOAN and ministered it in the atmosphere, knowing that an intense spiritual combat was ensuing. Suddenly, Mrs Ucheanya saw Prophet T.B. Joshua appear in the room, stretching forth his hand towards her violent spiritual husband who was attempting to strangle her. At that moment, she saw fire descend and consume the demonic being! Thereafter, the family decided they must visit The SCOAN for total deliverance. The kingdom of darkness however had a sinister plan. The satanic forces visited her to say that she was being sent to The SCOAN to fight and destroy Prophet T.B. Joshua; and so she became more reinforced for the battle of light and darkness in The SCOAN.

At The SCOAN Prayer Line, a mighty spiritual battle occurred. As Prophet T.B. Joshua approached her, a bestially demonic anger welled up within Florence and she attempted to attack. However, her effort to move towards the prophet was thwarted by a blinding light that erupted from where he was standing. At this point, Mrs Ucheanya saw Heavenly angels surround The SCOAN environment, alongside a tall man in brilliant light whose name was written on his chest, ‘Son of David – Jesus Christ’. Light conquered darkness and Florence saw the demons that had manipulated and messed up her entire life leaving her body! Ever since her deliverance, Mrs Ucheanya said that she could say for the first time that she loved her husband. She no longer hears voices instructing her toward devilish vices nor is her sleep interrupted by hellish encounters. When she did see the marine forces appear to her in the dream to threaten that they would deal with her for exposing them, she subsequently saw Prophet T.B. Joshua appear to tell them to leave as she is now a daughter of Christ!

Mr Ucheanya, a professional football referee and lecturer of Mass Communication at Nigeria’s Federal Polytechnic, Bida, testified that his wife had completely become a changed person after her deliverance. He exhorted people to know the value of the blessing God had given to this generation in the form of Prophet T.B. Joshua believing that the setbacks in his professional career are now a thing of the past since the forces behind his stagnancy had been removed through the deliverance of his wife. He advised couples encountering marital challenges not separate when such spiritual entanglements manifest but rather they should seek deliverance from Jesus Christ.

PASTOR SET FREE FROM MASTURBATION AND LUST

Pastor Daniel Dogbe from Ghana was addicted to masturbation for 25 years. This problem had affected his business, marriage, ministry and everything about him. As a minister of God, he had tried on his own to pray against it, but it just was not working. One day, a police officer introduced him to Emmanuel TV and advised him to always touch the screen of Emmanuel TV for prayer. He did and instantly, something came out of him and that was the end of the 25 years of battle with masturbation and lust that had wrecked his life. Since then, his life, business and everything about him has changed to the glory of God. He is now being invited to many countries to preach the gospel. It has been about a year after his deliverance through praying along with Prophet T.B. Joshua. He has not had the urge to masturbate anymore. He advised other pastors who are fighting urges of the flesh not to be deceived by the devil with pride, but to look for other anointed men of God who can set them free. “Many pastors are ashamed to come here and this is what is responsible for their limitation. I am calling all of you to come here and receive your deliverance,” he said, joyfully praising the Lord!

OPERA SUPERSTAR DELIVERED THROUGH ANOINTING WATER!

Miss Kimmy Skota, a world renowned opera singer, was extraordinarily gifted yet faced terrible nightmares and career setbacks. She was privileged to travel worldwide with Andre Rieu and the Johann Strauss Orchestra to audiences of millions, yet anytime she was about to sing, a strange tremor would grip her voice and hands, oftentimes affecting the quality of her performance. She would shake and shiver with fear. All this, she kept to herself until, one day, she confided in an old friend. The friend introduced her to Emmanuel TV. She watched evil spirits manifest in people, claiming to be responsible for their setbacks and other strange habits. She was dumbfounded and realised it was deliverance she required to break out of the cycle of limitation in progress that had plagued her life and career. After hearing about the Anointing Water Revival in Birmingham, UK, she decided to fly from her base, the Netherlands, to UK to receive a special touch from Heaven. After being ministered with the Anointing Water, the evil spirit within her manifested and spoke: “We buried her photo, she will never shine again. On stage we make her shake and she becomes afraid!” But darkness shall never prevail over light. The demon was cast out by the superior power in the name of Jesus Christ. Ever since her deliverance, Kimmy testified that all fear, nightmares and the strange tremors that affected her vocal performance completely disappeared.

“I want to thank Jesus for saving my life,” she tearfully concluded. The South African-born opera singer then raised her great voice to God as she sang before The SCOAN congregation: ‘Pie-Jesu – Merciful Jesus’ and later ‘Panis Angelicus – Bread of Angels’.

DOUBLE BREAKTHROUGH

Dr Towindo Tichaona, a Finance Director from Mozambique, came to The SCOAN to testify to the goodness of God in his and her wife’s life. For the past three years, he had been struggling with his doctoral degree program. Two weeks before his graduation, he received a call from the director of the university where he was studying telling him that one of the subjects must be sat for again without which his graduation along with others would be a mirage! His wife visited The SCOAN and received the Anointing Water and the Anointing Sticker which he dubbed as ‘TBJ machine gun’. He prayed that God should help him to correct each mistake in his thesis. He placed the Anointing Sticker on his thesis and ministered the Anointing Water to each page of his thesis and, to the glory of God, the spirit of setback was cast away and he received favour from above. His thesis was instantly approved. Out of the 30 people who started the doctoral program, 27 dropped and only three remained. He is one of the three people and the graduation was not postponed. The graduation was presided over by president of Zimbabwe, Robert Mugabe, who handed over his degree. Two weeks ago, Dr Tichaona was also promoted with a salary twice as much as before.

His wife also testified that during her visit to The SCOAN, her prayer point was that God should open the door of breakthrough for his family. When she went back to Mozambique, she was scheduled for a job interview which she passed without answering any tough question – it was just like chatting. She was then granted a job as an auditor. Indeed, Jesus can make a way, even when there seems to be no way!

JESUS TURNED BREECHED BABY AROUND

Mrs Modupe Akintunde from Kaduna State, Nigeria came to The SCOAN with a problem of breech presentation of her baby. She had been experiencing extraordinary pains with her pregnancy. She went to the hospital for examination where an x-ray, exposed a breeched baby. The doctor advised the only way out for her would be for her to go for an operation in order to save her life and the baby. Her husband, who had seen similar cases reversed in the mighty name of Jesus Christ at The SCOAN, decided otherwise. He rushed her to The SCOAN where she was arranged at the prayer line. Immediately she saw Prophet T.B. Joshua, even before the prayer, her baby started turning to the normal position and the pain disappeared. She delivered her baby safely without any operation. Praise the Lord! What doctors cannot do, Jesus can do it for you!

The Sunday service closed with Mass prayer which the wise men ministered and, glory to God, many evil spirits were exposed and cast out in the name of Jesus Christ. Remain blessed and we look forward to receiving your testimony this New Year, 2014!

January 5 marked the first Sunday for the year 2014 and for those who gathered at The SCOAN in Lagos Nigeria, there could be no better way for stepping into the year than the praise and worship that filled the auditorium. The man of God, Prophet T.B. Joshua, preached with power and gave Words of Wisdom, touching on the topic of faith. He stressed that faith is not an imitation but a spiritual experience that should arise in one’s heart according to the Word of God.

Said the man of God: “Faith arises in each person’s heart because faith is of man’s heart. Don’t base your faith on your improvement after prayer” He then warned against basing one’s spiritual experience on feelings and emotions saying, “If you continue to base faith on your improvement after prayer, the devil will continue to deceive you. You will begin to count how many times your prayer is answered,” he said.

Wise Man Harry preached on the message: MAKE THE YEAR WORK. The proof text was from the Book of Matthew 15:21-28, a scripture about a woman from Canaan who had an encounter with Jesus Christ and persistently begged for the healing of her daughter who was suffering from demon possession. He described the woman as one with vision and active faith, hence her ability to attract Jesus’ attention and to have her daughter healed.

He said, as a Christian, when one’s focus is on a dream, whatever happens around the person would not matter. “Today, it’s not that we do not have a dream, we have but we do not believe in our dream. If you have a dream, remember that nobody else would believe that dream. If you don’t believe your dream, your dream will not come to pass. Therefore, you must protect that dream as nobody else can do it for you. To protect your dream, you must stop the language or the vocabulary of the victim; be positive. Let your words become the photograph of the future you desire instead of the future you fear,” he said.

The service was laced with testimonies from people who came from all over the world to glorify God over His goodness in their lives. Here are but a selected few:

BULLET PROOF CORPORAL FINDS SAFETY IN GOD’S ARMOUR

When Corporal Benjamin Gabriel of the Nigerian Police Force left his station at the Lagos State Command on a special assignment last year to an area notorious for armed robbery, he thought it was just going to be ‘business as usual’ – patrolling the street and mounting a road block that would scare away such criminals from operating. But little did the 24 year-old know he was going to have an unusual dangerous encounter with these men of the underworld that, without God’s presence with him, they would have taken his life! Corporal Benjamin’s experience was one that eventually proved to any doubting Thomas of God’s mightiness as Protector and Defender of His people. While at the checking point with three of his other colleagues that fateful night, he suddenly found himself and his colleagues surrounded by no less than 14 men heavily armed with sub-automatic machine guns. Instantly, the robbers uncorked their AK49 weapons and opened fire at the unsuspecting police officers. The AK49 rifle is a later model to the AK47 which Corporal Gabriel and his unit carried. The officer beside him was shot dead instantly, others were severely injured while another escaped into the bush leaving Corporal Gabriel alone staring into 14 muzzles of loaded guns.

“I could see flares of gun-fire all around me and could feel bullets hit me all over,” he said. Thank God, none of the bullets could penetrate his flesh; he was under the protection of Heavenly armour!

Before he left for the assignment, a friend had given him a copy of one of Prophet T.B. Joshua’s sermons, known as an ‘MPG – Mouthpiece of God’ titled, You Must Be Born Again. Although he had never visited The SCOAN before, after reading the message, he was touched and his faith in Christ Jesus increased because he had heard a lot of God’s great work for mankind on earth today through His Prophet, T.B. Joshua. He took his own personal photograph by faith and placed it inside the sermon leaflet as a point of contact for God’s intervention in his life. He had then placed the leaflet inside his bag and believed that the yoke in his life was broken, in Jesus’ name. This was what he went with on this extra-ordinary encounter.

Now, confronted by notorious criminals shooting at him and his fellow officers, he remembered the MPG in his bag. Just as the first bullet rung out, Corporal Gabriel shouted the name, “Jesus!” Even as bullets rained on him, tearing through his combat boots, trousers and underwear, none could go beyond what he wore. They continued firing at him at close range and he continued shouting: “Jesus, God of Prophet T.B. Joshua, save me!” It was a barrage of gun shots tearing everywhere into pieces including the battleground like a volcanic eruption, yet Corporal Benjamin was not hurt despite their firepower and numbers against him even when they had taken his Police Service AK47 gun away as he fell thinking he had been shattered into pieces!

But they failed because the presence of God was with him! The armed robbers were shocked to see the bullets ripping his uniform but not piecing his body. All he was shouting was, ‘Jesus, God of T.B. Joshua!’ The Corporal, now confident that God was at work, charged at his adversaries even without any gun in hand like a lion and eventually collected one of the armed robbers’ guns, an AK49!

He testified, “They collected my AK-47 and I collected their AK-49’s!” Full of fear and confused at this man who refused to die, the armed robbers disappeared into the darkness. Corporal Gabriel, ‘God’s bullet-proof officer’ who joined the police service in 2002, showed the congregation the very uniform and underwear he wore that night with the bullet holes in them. The AK 49 bullets destroyed his combat boots into shreds of leather but his feet were untouched! He said that when he told the Commissioner of Police in his State and his superiors, they could not believe what had happened and questioned him about his unexplainable, unharmed and untouched body. He showed them his photo, inside the sermon of Prophet T.B. Joshua from The SCOAN and they were all amazed at the miraculous escape and were left with no doubt; it was the supreme work of God.

“God made my body bullet-proof!” was his ecstatic reply.

 ANOINTING WATER WASHES AWAY KIDNEY PROBLEM

Mrs Roseline Onyishi from Enugu State in Nigeria, and her 16 year-old daughter Precious, came to testify to God’s glory of the miraculous healing her daughter received through the medium of the Anointing Water. In September last year, Precious had fallen ill and had all signs of a malaria attack. She was rushed to hospital but after two days of admission, she continued to vomit and had been put on a drip. Although the doctors said they were doing their best, there did not seem to be any improvement. She remained confined to the hospital bed for four days and on the fifth day, the doctors confessed the limitation of human wisdom. They sent her for another test at a different facility; this was after she spent a week in the hospital. They were told that it was a serious case of kidney failure and that Precious should go for dialysis. The doctor explained that her kidney was enlarged and she needed emergency attention. All her daughter could do was vomit and go to the toilet; she was in a terrible state. Actually, the doctors said she would need to be on dialysis for the rest of her life. Each day, her daughter received one pint of blood and they continued with the dialysis. One of Mrs Onyishi’s in-laws visited her at the hospital and gave her the Anointing Water from The SCOAN. After reading the Anointing Water booklet, her faith was lifted. She ministered the Anointing Water on her daughter’s lower abdomen and in her mouth, in Jesus’ name.

One day later, the doctor discharged them for no apparent reason. When they inquired why, the doctor told her that her daughter was inexplicably well and should therefore go home and return the following week. Another test a week later, confirmed that she was indeed healed of the kidney problem – no more dialysis, no more needles and blood transfusions. Today she is safe and free with all her eyes to becoming a medical doctor. Glory to God!

CANCER FLUSHED OUT!

Mrs Peggy Kaluba from Zambia was diagnosed with cancer last year. She had been experiencing a blocked nose for three years and felt pain when swallowing. She visited the hospital and the doctors advised her to go for a CT scan which exposed a tumour. After one month having gone through a biopsy, the next thing was for her to go for an operation in order to remove the large cancerous tumour of the neck and nose which in itself could not even be guaranteed. The doctors said she should go to a hospital where she would receive specialist attention. She decided to visit the Great Physician, Jesus Christ and came to The SCOAN where she received the Anointing Water. At this time, the tumour was massive in size. Back home, she prayed and ministered the Anointing Water, in Jesus’ name and went for another scan. She said she believed in the God of Prophet T.B. Joshua. When the results came out, she was free from cancer! Jesus had healed her.

 ‘JESUS IS THE ONLY SOLUTION!’ SAYS DELIVERED WITCH DOCTOR

Another testimony came from Miss Olipha Dube from South Africa, a registered nurse and a strong witch doctor who was delivered at The SCOAN prayer line last week. She testified of how futile the devil’s perceived solutions to man’s problems are. After graduating from her nursing school, she went into private business supplying nurses for government and institutions in the health sector. Her business was going well until a few years later when everything slowed down and plunged. Frustrated and with nowhere to run, her friend introduced her to a witch doctor where she received charms to help her business. Instead, her problems became worse. She started moving from one witch doctor to another, searching for a higher power until one of the witch doctors told her that her ancestors wanted her to become a witch doctor.

She accepted and went through the initiation school where charms were stuffed into her body. She was also given power to see what others could not see and the ability to communicate with the spiritual world. She was initiated and started practicing as a witch doctor. Many people came to her shrine but she discovered that she could not solve every problem brought to her. Even those that she ‘helped’ would later come back complaining that the charms only worked for a few days and then brought worse problems. So, she went to another initiator and paid a huge sum of money for him to teach her how to use plants, trees and animal parts to produce different kinds of charms.

In the process, she used many charms on herself in order to be able to communicate with the spiritual world on a daily basis and attain more powers. She had an evil altar in her bedroom, where she would talk to the ancestral spirits – they would appear to her and communicate with her. She had two shrines for the ancestral spirits – one for her father’s side and another one for her mother’s side. She would use parts of animals, like dogs, drying them in the sun and grinding them into powder.  People would receive the powder, not knowing what it was made of. After inserting the powder into the person, the spirit of the animal would enter them, giving the person an uncontrollable spirit of lust. She explained that because this did not provide a lasting solution, it caused people to start moving from one witch doctor to another unaware that it was actually increasing their problems.  As a witch doctor, she said, she was raising spiritual husbands and wives for people by going to the graveyard and raising the spirit of a dead man or woman which she would assign to her client’s victims. That way many families were destroyed. She also explained that she was able to connect with the evil spirits and could tell people about their past, present and future. If she was standing next to a person, the evil spirit would be telling her about that person. Despite all the powers she possessed, she found herself having more and more problems. She lost her business and all her assets. Her situation became pathetic and one day, one of the people she had initiated told her about Emmanuel TV where she saw people manifesting and confessing the very things she was doing. She was surprised and frustrated at how the evil spirits like those she had unleashed on others, were commanded out of people at just one word –  Jesus!

She came to The SCOAN and was arranged at the prayer line. As the man of God, Prophet T.B. Joshua came towards her, she explained, she felt a great force and at the same time, she heard a voice telling her to run but she could not escape, something was holding her feet

The evil spirit inside of her manifested and was cast out, in Jesus’ name. Today, she is delivered from the evil spirit that had destroyed her life.  “I now feel peace inside and outside me. I am a happy person. My past is over and I am ready for a new life in Christ Jesus,” she said, adding, “If you want to be a Christian, be a Christian. The only solution is Jesus Christ; there is no other solution.”

I SEE YOU CARRYING BABY SAMUEL!

When Mr and Mrs Eze came to The SCOAN last year, they received a prophecy from the man of God, Prophet T.B. Joshua. He told her she was too young to have problems in her home and that he saw her carrying ‘Samuel’. In her testimony, she said her marriage was full of quarrels and she was also experiencing miscarriages. She was pregnant at the time of the prophecy. After the prophecy, she went for a scan which showed that she was indeed carrying a baby boy and that he was safe. Her husband’s attitude towards her also changed. He became loving. Now, they have a baby boy named Samuel Okechukwu Eze as fulfillment of the prophecy by the man of God, Prophet T.B. Joshua!

TOTAL LOSS OF SMELL AND TASTE RESTORED AFTER FIVE YEARS

Mrs Diana Nkwo from Cameroon had the horrible problem of no sense of smell and taste for five years. This severely affected her life. At one point her daughter’s apartment in the USA and the rest of the building could have been burnt by the fire she caused by placing a pot on the cooker and not being able to smell that it was burning, if not for her daughter’s intervention. She could not detect the impending inferno because of her dead sense of smell! The incident would have cost life as her daughter’s child was sleeping in one of the rooms. By the time she realised the tragedy and carried the child out, the whole house was thick with smoke. Also as a result of the problem, she could not enjoy her own food because she could not taste. Her nose was also running ‘like a baby’s’ because of the same nasal problem. She went to many hospitals within and outside her country in search of solution but found none. The only hope given to her was an operation in the United States which could not even be guaranteed.

She tried traditional medicine but to no avail. After everything humanly had failed, she decided to come to The SCOAN for a divine solution. She was placed at the prayer line where the man of God, Prophet T.B. Joshua, prayed for her, in Jesus’ name and instantly, she regained her sense of taste and smell. For the first time in five years, she could smell the scent of her own perfume. She glorified God for her healing and advised people to believe in God.

DRY BONES RISE AGAIN!

Emmanuel Batawa from Ghana came to The SCOAN with the problem of stiff neck due to cervical spondylosis. He also suffered from lumbar spondylosis. He could not turn his neck and walked with difficulty. He was experiencing dizziness and had blurred vision. He had visited many hospitals in search of solution but got none. Wearing a lumbar corset and a neck collar that held his neck and back bones together, the 41-year-old was placed at the prayer line where one of the wise men prayed for him in the name of Jesus Christ and he instantly received his healing.  Today, he came to testify how he now is a free man, having been healed by Jesus Christ. He no longer uses a neck collar or lumbar corset. He demonstrated his healing by walking across the altar, bending and turning his neck.

CHARITY TO THE ELDERLY

Where are your elderly ones? Care for them and you shall reach old age. Today, Prophet T.B. Joshua gave 3 million naira and a trailer full of rice to the elderly members of The SCOAN. He then announced that this care and support is given monthly to the elderly. The elderly gave thanks to God for the life of Prophet T.B. Joshua and the wonderful gifts they had received.

With the year 2014 still in its infancy days, and having been prophetically christened by Prophet T.B. Joshua as ‘The Year of Crossing the Bridge’, nothing could be more timely than a call for Christians to be in an attitude of prayer all the time. The Man of God, Prophet T.B. Joshua, quoted the book of Joshua 1:8; which teaches about keeping and speaking the Word of God.

The prophet gave three take-home points: Keeping the Word of God in one’s mouth, meditating day and night in the Word, and doing what the Word says.

Explained the Man of God: “If the heart and mouth are in one accord with God’s Word, you will begin to tap the blessings of God. If the Word dominates your heart, it will surely influence your conduct and behavior and you will do what the Word says. The Word cannot dominate your heart by just reading it, but by meditating day and night. You have to cultivate this habit.”

Prophet T.B. Joshua later ministered prayer at the Prayer Line where people from all over the world received healings, deliverances and prophecies, by the power of the Holy Spirit and in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.

Earlier on, Wise Man Christopher preached on the message: THE PROPHETIC PICTURE OF OUR FUTURE, urging Christians not to look at their situations from the human point of view but God’s. The proof-text was from the book of Genesis 37:5-11; a scripture about Joseph and how the Spirit of God gave him a prophetic picture of his future in a dream and saw himself in a position of authority.

He explained, “Your conduct and behaviour cannot change unless the Holy Spirit gives birth in you a picture of what He is looking at when He sees you. And that picture is a victor not a victim, a successful person not a failure, a blessed and healthy person not a poor and sick person. Like Joseph, if the Lord is with you, you would be comforted in whatever situation you find yourself. When God is supporting your position, there is comfort in affliction; strength in your weakness”.

BACK TO LIFE: RESURRECTION POWER AT WORK!

Mrs Chioma Okorie and family came to The SCOAN to testify about the resurrection power they had experienced in the name of Jesus Christ. She and her family had gone on a visit to their village at the beginning of this month. However, what had started as a happy excursion to cheer friends and relatives, ended in horror when, on their way back to the city, their car crashed as they were trying to avoid an oncoming speeding car. While she, her husband and daughter came out safely from the wreck without a scratch, a family friend’s daughter who was with them in the car, collapsed. They rushed her to the hospital but, on arrival, she was confirmed dead, to the shock of everyone. Mrs Okorie became worried and agitated not knowing how she would explain to the family that her own family had come out safely but their daughter had died. She remembered that she had in her handbag the Anointing Sticker she had received from The SCOAN. She placed it on the dead body and prayed with it for the resurrection power of Jesus Christ to restore the girl’s life. While praying in the name of Jesus, the girl stirred, woke up and began to talk, to the amazement of everyone.

“The first thing she asked was, ‘where is uncle?’ and we knew she was back to life,” said Mrs Okorie.

Ada Chukwu, the girl concerned, came out to testify that all she could remember was waking up on the hospital bed with the Anointing Sticker on her body. Praise God!

SCROTUM CANCER PERMANENTLY ELIMINATED IN JESUS’ NAME

Mr Edolor and his family came to express their sincere gratitude to God for His life-giving power. Mr Martins Edolor, 45 years-old, had developed scrotum cancer from what started as a tiny boil. The small sore turned into a fully-fledged wound that oozed blood and smelly pus. He could not eat. The scrotum as well as his stomach became very swollen. He was urinating blood. He could not drive or walk around or even wear trousers. The pain increased everyday and no drug he took worked. He went to the hospital and they carried out tests on him but they could not treat his condition because it had become too severe. The doctors only gave him some medication just to ease the pain. When his father saw him lie in the hospital bed with a big foul-smelling wound on his private parts and flies buzzing all over the room, he simply broke down in tears. He had just lost three sons in three years and could not stand the sight of seeing another inch close to the edge of yet another grave.

His sister, Comfort, a member of The SCOAN, encouraged him that he would not die; that the God of Prophet T.B. Joshua would heal him. She connected his phone so that he could hear Prophet T.B. Joshua’s prayers. He began to pray with the man of God. That night, after the prayer, the boil burst open. Blood and strange objects started coming out of the anus. For the first time, he had a slight relief and was able to move his leg. Three days later, they brought him to The SCOAN. By now, the horrible smell from the cancer had gone, making it easier for people to travel with him. He joined the prayer line and, as one of the Wise Men approached him, he said, he felt a cold sensation flow down his body to his feet. He stood up, all the pain was gone! For the first time in three weeks, he asked for his pair of trousers to be brought for him. He had been wearing a wrapper to avoid hurting himself.

“Within days after the prayer, the wound healed. Up to now, everything is normal and you cannot tell that I ever had scrotum cancer,” he said.

Mr Edolor is now back to his business, selling foodstuffs and living his life freely to the glory of God. His 84 year-old father said if his son had died, he was also ready to die as he could not bear the anguish. His sister, Comfort, advised people to get connected to the prayers of Prophet T.B. Joshua on Emmanuel TV and that Jesus Christ would transform their life.

ENGINEER BEN FINALLY BUILDS HIS OWN HOUSE
Engineer Ben and Family came to testify how they got breakthrough through the Anointing Sticker and Anointing Water. Although he and his family were staying in town, they had been facing serious accommodation problems when they visited the village. They had been making frantic efforts to build a house to replace the one left by his grandfather but due to financial setbacks, it all proved abortive. In 2012 they received the Anointing Water and the Anointing Sticker from The SCOAN with which he and his wife prayed with it for a miracle. In the same year, he had a dream in which he was reconstructing the old house and getting to his office, asked an architect to sketch it for him. With faith, he put the Anointing Sticker on the door of the old house and instructed his people to start clearing the ground around the old house telling them this was where God wanted them to start. He sprinkled the Anointing Water on the foundation of the new building and prayed in Jesus’ name. Since that time, they did not stop construction until the 10-room duplex building was completed. What they had failed to complete in years, was finished in just two and a half months. Also, while the construction was going on; God blessed him with a new SUV car. In December they all travelled to the village and no one could recognise the way to their house because in place of the old building was a new magnificent house, fully furnished. 

FAVOUR UPON FAVOUR FOR WOMAN OF FAITH

Taking her turn to testify was Mrs Theophilla Myoba from Lusaka in Zambia.  She had earlier come to The SCOAN with the problem of setback and limitation. Her family had been suffering from abject poverty. They were barely surviving. After human power and wisdom had failed to bail the family out of the seeming perpetual problem, she concluded that God was the only solution. Mrs Myoba’s situation was so critical that she even had to borrow money for her transport to come to The SCOAN. Even the clothes she wore, she borrowed. People laughed at her when she told them she was coming to The SCOAN but her faith was so strong that no one could dissuade her. While she was still at The SCOAN, a miracle happened. Her husband received a long-awaited promotion at his place of work and that marked the beginning of her breakthrough in the family. She also met the Man of God, Prophet T.B. Joshua, and was privileged to receive the Anointing Water. Back home in Zambia, taps of favour opened and poured upon her family. She received her own promotion. As a civil servant, she was able to complete a five-bedroom house she had been struggling to build. She is also a proud owner of two cars. She had never believed that she would ever own what she now has.

“Don’t listen to what people say; they laughed at me. Follow your heart and God will bless you,” she advised and showed viewers her new car and house she has built with God’s grace.

WOMAN FRAUDSTER EXPOSED AFTER STEALING GOD’S MONEY

Miss Coulibaly Assetou, from Ivory Coast, came to give testimony of her breakthrough and also tell a tragic account of her encounter with a professional fraudster who conned her of an estimated US$100,000 meant for God’s work. Miss Assetou had been experiencing problems in her business but after ministering the Anointing Water and praying with faith in Jesus’ name, she was able to open a multinational company stretching from France to Belgium and Italy – the first vehicle transit company in Ivory Coast. Since then, she has experienced breakthrough in every area of her life.

She explained that she had found out about The SCOAN through a Marie France Monnet, a woman who claimed to be Prophet T.B. Joshua’s representative in Ivory Coast. To express her appreciation to God and to support the worthy cause of Emmanuel TV, she decided to become a partner of the ministry. In line with that understanding, she gave a total sum of 45 million CFA to the woman to present to The SCOAN and Emmanuel TV for tithe and partnership payments. The sum is equivalent to 100,000 US Dollars.

To her utter shock, when she came to The SCOAN last week, she discovered that the money had never reached The SCOAN and that she had fallen into the hands of a fraudster. She was stunned and could not believe that the woman she had held in high esteem was not what she had professed to be but an imposter with no fear of God.

As if that was not enough, the same woman, Marie France Monnet called and told her that the man of God had given her a prophecy that she should give more money or else something bad would happen to her in 2014. Standing before the congregation on Sunday, she warned everyone especially those from Ivory Coast to be careful not to be duped by the fraudster. She also warned that there is no Emmanuel TV office in the country and people should watch out for such unscrupulous individuals who steal in the name of the Lord.

According to her, the woman had even claimed that she was going to bring a wise man to Ivory Coast.  Viewers all over the world, be careful of those who are interested only in their personal gain!

JESUS STOPS SEVERE BLEEDING, SAVES BABY ‘EMMANUEL’!

Mrs Imah Rosemary, from Edo State, had been bleeding profusely through her nose and mouth for eight consecutive days due to a ruptured nose artery. The doctor fixed a drip on her but the bleeding continued all the more. Her condition was deteriorating by the day and her situation was critical as she was eight months pregnant. The doctors declared that there was nothing more they could do. It was in this desperate state that her husband rushed her to The SCOAN as the last beacon of hope. Blood was ceaselessly gushing from both her mouth and nostrils into a bucket placed on her lap. It was a shocking spectacle to watch. Prophet T.B. Joshua prayed for her at the prayer line and commanded the bleeding to stop, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. It did. Her nose and mouth went dry. Both her life and that of her unborn baby were saved and she has now safely delivered her baby boy and given him the name ‘Emmanuel’!  Her husband thanked Jesus for His mercy.

“She had stopped eating and drinking. The night after the prayer, she demanded for food and slept like a baby,” he said. When it was time for her to deliver her baby, they were in different locations but her husband ministered the Anointing Water on her picture, praying for her. A moment later, she called and told him that she had delivered safely without any complication. What a wonderful God we serve!

GENERATIONAL CURSE OF ARMED ROBBERY SMASHED!
Mrs Gifty Torubiri’s great-great grandfather was a witchdoctor and fetish man. Apart from being a seer for the chief’s throne in his area, he provided charms to thieves. It is not surprising, therefore, that the spirit of stealing entered his family and developed deep roots that grew to haunt the generations after him. Each family that descended from him had armed robbers who did not hesitate to shed blood. Mrs Torubiri’s own father was a notorious armed robber and died in the act. His killing made headlines in the press. All male members of the family were notorious criminals who abducted women and raped them. Not long ago, she was called to view bodies of her uncles shot dead by the police during a failed robbery attempt. Many people gathered to watch the execution. Meanwhile, all the females in the family have been prostitutes or married to armed robbers. After marrying armed robbers, they would give birth to armed robbers and so the cycle of crime continued. Her mother too lived a criminal’s life; selling Indian hemp and moving from one hotel to another, prostituting herself. As for herself, she always felt something urging her to steal and she has slept with more men than she can remember, unbeknown to her husband. She even slept with her landlord and the chief in her village while married. She could not explain why, but said that she would always desire other women’s husbands and was never satisfied.

All this was exposed at The SCOAN where she came for prayer the previous week. However, what brought her were financial difficulties. Little did she know that the root of her problem was a horrific family curse of armed robbery. When it was time for her deliverance and one of the wise men was approaching her, she was praying but then, suddenly, something within her told her to run away. The evil spirit inside her started to confess that it was the ‘great old woman’ and that it was responsible for the spirit of armed robbery in her family and that it had destroyed her destiny. To God be the glory, she was finally delivered.

After her deliverance, she is free. The thought of stealing is no longer there and she no longer thinks about other men nor desires to sleep with other people’s husbands. She pleaded for deliverance of her whole family as she did not want to be a mother of armed robbers. Her 17-year old son, she said, was already stealing and had recently been caught stealing a fowl, for which he was severely beaten. The tragic part of her story was that every robber in the family would eventually get killed.

Commenting on her situation and the deliverance, Prophet T.B. Joshua explained that when one kills an armed robber or a criminal, it is the body that is killed and not the evil spirit which is the cause of the stealing, killing and destroying. Therefore, the solution is deliverance from that evil spirit. “Once an evil spirit is cast out by the Spirit of God in the name of Jesus, it is caged perpetually until the Day of Judgment”, he said.

HEALED OF DIABETES THROUGH WATCHING EMMANUEL TV

Miss Misper Youngwe is a Cameroonian living in Germany. She had a dream where men sprayed tear gas on her. She woke up that day and had rashes all over her body. She went to the hospital where the doctors gave her medication to stop the rashes and scratching. She went for another test and was diagnosed to be a diabetic. This was strange to her because no one in her family had this problem. She started praying with Prophet T.B. Joshua while watching Emmanuel TV and carrying the test results, believing by faith for healing. She went for another test and glory to God, she was pronounced diabetic free to the surprise of the doctors. She advised that watching Emmanuel TV can transform your life.

The service closed with a Mass Payer ministered by the Wise Men. Praise God!

A glorious moment of Holy Spirit adoration was the atmosphere of the third Sunday in the year at The SCOAN’s Live Sunday Service. The ringing admonition for worshippers and viewers all over the world was to ensure a lasting relationship with Jesus Christ as a prerequisite to a triumphant Christian life. The Man of God, Prophet T.B. Joshua, vehemently stressed the need for Christians to be prayerful through reading the Word and meditating on it if their faith is to grow. The Man of God, who described the Bible as an uncommon book, said if read slowly, repeatedly and attentively, the Word of God becomes an integral part of one’s life.

“The more you think about what you read in the Bible, the more familiar you become with His voice. Beyond our bodies and minds are our souls. That is why the ministers of God must be concerned about the soul of man because if the soul is sick, the man is sick and only God can heal the soul,” he said, referring to Thessalonians 5:23 which says that man is a divine person possessed of a spirit, soul and body.

Ministering to thousands of worshippers who had gathered at The SCOAN in Lagos, Nigeria and viewers of Emmanuel TV, Prophet T.B. Joshua likened reading the Word of God to feeding the soul and the spirit. He said, “The more you think about what you read, the more the Word dominates your mouth. The more the Word dominates your mouth, the more it dominates your heart. The more the Word dominates your heart, the more it changes your conduct and behavior. The Word cannot dominate your mouth without you thinking about what you read. The Word that dominates your heart and mouth establishes, heals and delivers!”

Wise Man Daniel preached on the message: A LASTING RELATIONSHIP WITH JESUS CHRIST, saying that redemption does not call for personal effort but a look of faith to the Cross where Jesus Christ conquered death and gave us victory. Citing John 5:1-14 as proof text, he said it is essential for Christians to trust in Christ’s suffering for their healing, deliverance, salvation and all of God’s blessings.

FIBROID FLUSHED OUT, SPIRITUAL HUSBAND BANISHED!

Mrs Grace Emmanuel had been tormented by a spiritual husband, which started when she was still a young girl, and multiple fibroids which had haunted her for four painful years. She visited many hospitals but wherever she went, doctors told her that the fibroids were too huge and the only solution was an operation.

Deep down in her heart, she knew that it was only Jesus Christ who could give her an effective and lasting solution. She came to The SCOAN where she received the Anointing Water, one of the mediums through which God is expressing himself to set His people free from satan’s afflictions. After the prayer, she went to the doctor for a scan which confirmed, to the wonder of the doctors that the multiple fibroids had disappeared. Rushing home to tell her husband the good news, she realized that not only had the pain left her body, the lack of affection towards her husband had also vanished. The spiritual husband stopped appearing to her and they began to live in perfect peace in Christ Jesus. Happily standing next to Mr Emmanuel, she advised all couples to believe in God.

ENTERTAINER SET FREE FROM SMOKING AND DRINKING

Nigerian popular comedian Owen Eru, commonly known as Owen Tee, came with his wife to The SCOAN to testify of God’s miraculous deliverance through the medium of the Anointing Water. He testified that he had been living a life of smoking and alcoholism, drinking up to two crates of beer a day. He spent so much money on the two vices that he was not able to save any to afford a wedding. As a consequence, his wife’s relatives were hesitant at the idea of allowing their daughter to marry him. His wife, then his girlfriend, tried to talk him out of the two bad habits, but failed. He also tried on his own to stop through prayer and fasting but the moment he broke his fasting, he would find himself perched on the stool, drinking and smoking.

Desperate to save their relationship and her future husband’s life, Eru’s girlfriend came to The SCOAN and received the Anointing Water. She took it home and told him that they should pray together in Jesus’ name for God’s breakthrough in their lives. After ministering the Anointing Water in prayer, they both noticed a change in their lives. Mr Eru did not smoke the following day. When he remembered that a day had passed without even a single stick, he decided to try drinking beer to see what would happen. To his surprise, the very smell and taste of alcohol suddenly became awful and disgusting. His urge for alcohol and cigarettes had completely left him. No longer wasting money on the bad habits, he was able to save money for their wedding. Jesus had broken his addiction and offered him a new life he had desperately aspired for.

“My friends have tried to tempt me with crates of beer and failed. They now buy me water. I have become a professional water drinker,” said the comedian, jokingly. His former girlfriend, now his wife, sat next to him in the church, displaying their beautiful newborn baby, a result of the glorious union God performed after his deliverance from smoking and drinking, over one year ago!

FRUIT OF THE WOMB RECEIVED THROUGH THE ANOINTING WATER

Mrs Loveth Waiter had been looking for a baby for six years. Doctors had done all kinds of tests on her but could not see anything wrong. After spending much of her resources looking for solution to this problem, her brother came to The SCOAN where he received the Anointing Water and gave it to her. After ministering it to herself and her husband in Jesus’ name, they met as husband and wife. Two weeks later, she was confirmed pregnant by the same doctors. She displayed her wonderfully large stomach for the glory of God, revealing that she is now nine months pregnant and expecting to deliver her baby any moment. How magnificent God is!

GOD HEALS, HIS NAME IS JESUS!

Pastor Kamwi Mowa from Zambia, testified how Jesus Christ restored his hearing through the medium of the Anointing Water after he was injured by armed robbers in 2004. He explained that the attack by criminals caused him to sustain numerous injuries which rendered him deaf. When people spoke to him, he could not hear. When he wanted to speak with someone, he could not communicate properly. At the gatherings of people where speeches were being made, he had to ask people around him what was being said or ask for a handout of such speeches where available, otherwise it would be as if he did not attend the meetings. People began to communicate with him through hand signs. This was a great embarrassment to him.

“As a minister of God, I found it difficult to convince people that God heals when I was in this situation,” he said.

When doctors examined him, they found that some nerves had been tampered with and that even the use of hearing aids would not help. They told him the only option to regaining his hearing to some degree would be an operation with a 50-50 chance of success. He realized that human effort could not help him. In 2013, he had the opportunity to receive the Anointing Water from a visitor to The SCOAN. He read the Anointing Water Booklet with faith and keen interest. He prayed before he ministered the Anointing Water, that God would have mercy. As he ministered the Anointing Water, he felt a strange sensation and then he slept. In the morning, everything had changed! The first thing that happened when he opened his eyes was that he heard the voice of his wife greeting him, “Good morning” – for the first time in nine years! That marked the end of a problem which human wisdom had failed to solve. He can now communicate and minister properly.  All that had been lost has been restored through the medium of the Anointing Water and faith in Christ Jesus!

Pastor Mowa further testified that after his miraculous healing, he took the Anointing Water to his hospitalized father, a military man who could no longer talk, see or sit down due to high blood pressure and diabetes. After praying with him and ministering the Anointing Water in Jesus’ name, his father began to communicate and sat up for the first time in so long. Later that evening, his father testified that his sight was returning! Medical tests later confirmed that his father’s blood pressure had returned to normal and he was confirmed fit to return to military service! Showing the current photo of his father in his combat gear at the military barracks in Zambia, Pastor Mowa said both he and his father can walk, talk, move, see, hear and live freely. PROPHECY DISCOVERS LOST DAUGHTER AFTER 28 YEARS

When Mr Henry Nwajames came to The SCOAN Sunday last week, the probable prophecy he had expected would come from the man of God, Prophet T.B. Joshua, was about his financial problems.  His businesses had been grounded; nothing was working. To his disbelief and utter shock, the man of God prophesied to him about an issue that had happened nearly three decades ago and one he had completely forgotten – the root to his mountain of problems.

The man of God approached him and asked him about his other wife and a controversy. He was bewildered because, according to him, he only had one wife. Never in his life had he married two women.  When he got home that day, still failing to comprehend what the man of God had said, he told the prophecy to a friend who reminded him of a girl he had impregnated and abandoned in the village a long time back. Mr Nwajames was dumbfounded that the prophet could dig into his past and unearth what he himself had forgotten – something that had happened when he was just a teenager.

He came back this Sunday to clarify what the controversy was all about – the daughter he had forgotten about for many years. He confessed that when he heard his girlfriend was pregnant, he discarded his previous promise to her that they would marry, denied the pregnancy and ran away. That was 28 years ago.

In the meantime, the daughter grew up by being passed from one hand to another. Her mother died and she got married. Unfortunately, her husband also died mysteriously and she was accused of his death. She was therefore widowed, hurt and with two children to raise single handedly.

“As I stand here, I have never seen my daughter. I am told she has come and is in this church. I will see her for the first time,” said Mr Nwajames fighting tears.

The man of God then called out for the daughter to come forward. She did, with two handsome sons, Mr Nwajames’ grandchildren. She explained her ordeal growing up without a father, failing to raise money for her secondary school fees and working in a restaurant to make ends meet – a life of abuse and suffering.

The man of God told Mr Nwajames that this sin he had committed years ago was  responsible for the woes besieging his life, including his collapsed businesses and finances! Thank God, Mr Nwajames re-united with her daughter for the first time in 28 years!

The congregation rejoiced in the goodness of the Lord and then joined the Wise Men for the mass prayer, during which many more souls were set free from the kingdom of darkness, in the name of Jesus. To God be all the glory!

Last Sunday was another awe-inspiring service hallmarked by a powerful and inspiring message from the man of God, Prophet T.B. Joshua. Packed to capacity and with all overflow canopies spilling over, The SCOAN in Lagos, Nigeria was gripped with the moving power of the Holy Spirit.   From the din of the choristers that bellowed to the heights of the Heavens, to amazing testimonies and the message of the day, the air was one of glorification and submission to the One who made Heaven and earth – the Almighty God!

Evangelist Chris encouraged viewers worldwide and the congregants in the church with the message titled: ‘Don’t Measure Your Christian Life  By Your Situation’.

“Remember, the main aim of satan in tempting people of God is to overthrow their relationship to God as Father. He wants to cause you to doubt your faith and question the truth of God’s Word. Each time you want to focus on your future in Christ, satan will remind you of unanswered prayers in the past in order to provoke your guilt and doubt and tarnish your future thereby. Outward afflictions, wants and burdens are the great arguments satan uses to make the people of God question their son ship,” he said.

“It is time you let satan know your stand – whether trouble or not, I will stay true to Jesus. If nothing in this world can separate you from the love of God and nothing in this world can shake your faith in God, then nothing in this world can stop you from crossing the bridge into your Divine destiny!”

He stressed that God’s hates sin but loves the sinner because sinners can be delivered. If an opportunity is given to a sinner, he can be reformed and change. He explained: “Since our battle is not against flesh and blood but against the spirit beings that cause these acts.”

Also referring to Ephesians 6:12, the man of God warned the church against wrestling against flesh and blood or striving against people, because doing so would be fighting the wrong battle.

“If we fail to see that there are powers that cause people to be bowed down in bondage, we are fighting the wrong battle. There are powers that cause you to be in poverty. When you are armed for battle, you will not fight the wrong battle; you will listen to the inner voice of the Holy Spirit.”

Testimonies glorify God and this Sunday was no different as scores of people lined up to share their stories about how God had made their broken bodies and souls whole again with fulfilment and abundance. Here are but a few of the wonderful testimonies:

DELIVERANCE IS THE ANSWER

A businessman dealing in motor car spare parts, Mr Tedus was a happy entrepreneur and in a relationship with a young woman he was ready to marry. He was also an interpreter at his church. But life for the 26 year-old turned into a total nightmare three years ago when he travelled on a business trip to Dubai. In transit on his way back, he stopped over in East Africa. While he was at a hotel where the airline accommodated him along with others on the delayed flight, he and some other men went to swim in the hotel’s pool. In a dream that night, he saw himself back in the same pool, swimming with other men only that this time, everyone was naked.

He woke up to see himself sweating profusely from the dream with a strong sensation that something strange had entered into his spirit! Before long, he discovered that he no longer had any passion for women but began to develop feelings for men like him. Immediately he returned home, he broke up his relationship with his fiancée who was shocked and could not understand a thing. Something pushed him to research on the internet about relationships with men and there, his interest grew.

One day, his pastor surprised him when he asked him to go to The SCOAN for deliverance without specifying why. The day of salvation for him came when he entered The SCOAN. He explained how as he was seated in the overflow section outside the church, an elderly woman in the overflow canopy gave him her entrance ticket to the church. Inside, when the wise men were praying, he began to feel like running away. As one of the wise men approached and touched him, an evil voice within him spoke out and revealed how it had been responsible for making him love men instead of women.

Now, after his deliverance, he testified that his desires had changed and he no longer has passion for men but rather for women. He can now pray and read his Bible without distraction and diversion.

“Now I am delivered, I no longer have affection for men but for ladies. If you come across someone with the same problem I had, you should not condemn him. The only answer is deliverance,” he said.

Let us remember the words of Prophet T.B. Joshua. Anytime we strive against people, we fight the wrong battle. God loves sinners but hates sin. We should hate the act but not the people. If we fail to see that there are powers that cause people to be bowed down in bondage, we are fighting the wrong battle.

WATCHING EMMANUEL TV CHANGED MY FORTUNES

For Mr Samson of Delta State, Nigeria, life literally had little meaning. For over 20 years, his life was littered with struggles and failures. He was facing stagnation and he could hardly pay his house rent and children’s school fees. While his friends were making headway in the same furniture business he was into, things just didn’t work out for him. It wasn’t until a friend introduced him to Emmanuel TV that his life changed. One day, while praying with Emmanuel TV, the man of God Prophet T.B. Joshua, declared breakthrough in his life. Two weeks later, while working in his shop, someone came and admired his work. What followed was a miracle as he received a massive contract a week later. Desperate to own his own house, he was able to buy a piece of land and started constructing a house on it the same week. Within eight months, construction was complete. A man, who could not afford even 1,500 naira, now has a house to call his own and is able to pay for his children’s school fees.

“Please, don’t give up on prayer,” he said.

LOOK! MUM NO LONGER SUFFERS PAIN

For Mrs Evelyn Ani, what seemed like a normal abdominal pain, took a deadly turn when a trip to the hospital revealed a diagnosis of bilateral enlarged ovaries.  The pain became excruciating to the point that she could not turn on her side. As she left the hospital, fear was added to her pain when she remembered the doctor’s words that she required an operation. She was still nursing scars of a previous operation and was not sure she would survive another one.   It was at the centre of such a dilemma that she decided to come to The SCOAN where she received the Anointing Water.

She prayed with it, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, sprinkled it in her mouth and, immediately, the pain left her. She called her children around her and shouted, “Mum has no more pain!” After one year pain free, she went back to the same hospital where doctors confirmed that she was healed. The two medical reports of before and after, testified to the complete transformation in her system.

A FRUITFUL TESTIMONY AFTER YEARS OF DESPERATION

Low sperm count was the root of the six-year barrenness in the lives of Mr and Mrs Stanley Igwe. They had tried and cried to have fruit of the womb, medically and otherwise, but there was no way out until their relative brought them to The SCOAN, where they received the Anointing Water. As they used the Anointing Water, the fruitfulness of the Lord exploded on the scene of their lives and a few months later, Mrs Igwe was confirmed pregnant.

She showed the congregation her husband’s medical reports confirming that he had low sperm count and another report that showed the position of the miracle baby in her womb after the ministration of the Anointing Water! The couple’s advice was for all to run to God for solution to their problems.

DEADLY CAR CRASH INJURIES WASHED AWAY BY THE ANOINTING WATER

Who would have thought that a pleasant family outing could be the site of a disaster? For Stella and her family from South Africa, it nearly was. Almost having arrived home from visiting her mother, with her grandchildren, the car suddenly swerved out of control until it hit a tree just a few kilometers from their home. The car was violently thrown over and the devastating crash left the two children seriously injured with a neck injury and broken ribs and the other child with a fracture to the head. The congregation gasped as they saw the pictures of the smashed  car lying upside down. When Stella arrived on the scene after receiving her daughter’s call, she met ambulances and paramedics cutting the children out of the overturned vehicle. They were rushed to hospital to be assessed overnight and the next day when Stella and the children’s mother were allowed to see them, the children had been moved to intensive care. The doctors were worried as they did not have the machinery or specialized staff to handle the gravity of their injuries.

With seemingly no other way out, the children were booked to be transferred to Pretoria General Hospital over four hours journey away. Then, Stella remembered that she had the Anointing Water and was permitted into the intensive care ward where she ministered it to her two grandchildren. Three days later, when the children were supposed to be moved, the doctors came to Stella and her daughter in the waiting room with a puzzled expression on his face. There was no longer any trace of the neck injury, broken ribs or fracture on the child’s head! The children were discharged immediately and since that day have been healed and healthy to the glory of God. The family advised the viewers that the power of the Anointing Water can penetrate even where the doctors cannot see and we should trust in God’s power.

Last Sunday service at The SCOAN in Lagos, Nigeria was another manifestation of God’s holiness and supremacy – a mighty and glorious presence that subdues evil and brings serenity and peace. The day was replete with miracles and wonders as the power of the Holy Spirit moved among the people with force, and gracefully setting the enslaved free from all kinds of affliction. The man of God, Prophet T.B. Joshua, walked among the people with Heavenly authority, preaching and teaching the Word with power. And in accordance with the measure of his faith – the Heavenly currency for healing, blessing and deliverance, he prayed for people and set them free in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. He taught about love, emphasizing its relevance to a Christian life. ‘Love’, said the man of God, ‘looks around to see those who are sick and in need’. His proof text was from Galatians 5:6.

In his words: “If one does not love, one’s faith will not work because faith works by love”, adding that “it means love is more important because it is the force that sets faith working. It is the greatest in the sense that it is only through love we can respond to God. Without love, I cannot hear from God; I will be without direction – without a father. Through love you can respond to others, ‘Be healed!’ and they are healed. Some of us have suppressed our faith by failing to walk in love. You have faith, no doubt about that, but you lack love,” he noted.

Shedding more light on neighborliness he said, “Your neighbor can be your enemy; those who do not share the same faith with you – love them all. We are known by our love. Jesus knows you not by your name, but your love.” The man of God then prophesied to the congregation before ministering prayer and deliverance at the Prayer Line.

Earlier on, Evangelist Rikhard engaged the congregation and viewers with a message titled: A Christian Life. The message, whose proof text was from the book of Joshua 1:8 hinged on the need for a spiritual reconstruction of a Christian life to reflect God’s will. He explained that God has given everybody a plan for success but what matters, is following such a roadmap as given by God. He also emphasized the need for Christians to keep the Word of God in their mouth, meditate on it and do what the Word says.

“What you say can justify or condemn you; your words can free you or put you in trouble. Most of our troubles are tongue troubles. Jesus Christ warned against speaking idle words – words that do not edify or build others up, because for every idle word a man speaks, he shall be accountable,” he said.

HEALED OF EXCESS URIC ACID

When Mr Isdore Hetekere from Malawi suffered general body pains last year, he rushed to the hospital where doctors told him: “You are lucky to be alive!” A test by the doctors revealed that he had excess uric acid – a staggering 10.7 reading. According to the doctors, the normal range for uric acid is between 3.4 and 7. He was immediately prescribed to be taking three different types of medications daily. He considered such an arrangement unreliable and enslaving. He decided to seek higher power from the Healer, Jesus Christ. He came to The SCOAN where he received the Anointing Water. On his return home, he started ministering it in Jesus’ name and his energy started coming back, leading to a gradual healing. Over days, the pain disappeared and after a few months, he was very strong and fit. He went back to the hospital for another test. His uric acid level had dropped to 6.1, which is within the normal range. Now healed, healthy and strong, he sleeps well and no longer experiences pain.

That is not all. He and his wife had been looking for the fruit of the womb. After their first daughter, they had not had another child for nine years and had become desperate. His wife was suffering from irregular menstruation. They had gone to various hospitals for medical solutions but nothing seemed to be working. They ministered the Anointing Water and met as husband and wife. Behold, his wife conceived and they are now proud parents of a beautiful baby girl named, Divine.

He advised, “Sometimes, the healing is instant and sometimes gradual. We should be patient and wait upon the Lord.”

ROBBERS WHO LABOURED IN VAIN

Dr Ozoh, a microbiologist residing in South Africa, came to testify how God rescued his home from armed robbery. In August last year, while at home, his son was strangely having difficulties sleeping. For some inexplicable reason, he just could not sleep. This continued till late in the night. Dr Ozoh decided to minister the Anointing Water on him and the house to cast out any demons and spirits of darkness that could have been lurking around. It wasn’t until 2am that they could sleep. In the morning, his wife was the first to wake only to discover to her utter shock that their kitchen had been broken into. Some items were missing. When she woke the whole house, they discovered that the missing items were dumped within the premises. What disappeared from one room was found in another. When police came, they could not believe what had happened; that robbers could labour to break into a highly secured home and yet steal nothing from it, not even a needle! All expensive electrical and hi-fi equipment was intact. Dr Ozoh thanked God for His faithfulness and advised viewers to live each day as if it was their last.

MODEL SET FREE FROM DEMONIC OPPRESSION

When Jesus sets you free, you are set free indeed and Mr Chris Paul Abure, a professional model from Nigeria living in Ghana, is evidence of this. Standing before the congregation on Sunday, he explained how he was thrown into the devil’s dungeon, living a life of sin – until he came to The SCOAN where Jesus Christ broke the chains and set him free. Narrating his episode of demonic horror, Mr Abure traced his tragedy to 16 years ago when his father cursed him for not following his lifestyle. His father belonged to this secret society which, he said, all the children in the family detested. The father told him he would not prosper in life. As he grew up, he could feel that things were not working for him. He found himself smoking weed, drinking alcohol and sleeping with every woman who crossed his path.

“Every bad thing, you name them, I have done,” he said.

One day, as Mr Abure was smoking at the beach, a strange thing happened. A beautiful lady appeared from nowhere, tapped him by the shoulder and said: “Handsome guy, how are you?” As soon as he replied, they started kissing although the lady was a total stranger to him. She then asked him to walk with her along the beach which was a distance away. He declined preferring to remain sitting where he was. Suddenly, he just discovered that the beach had come to him, touching his feet. The girl told him this was where he belonged, in the water and that one day she would take him there. He was horrified and told her to leave him. This encounter inflamed his lust for women and drugs as the same strange female-being appeared to him again in Ghana. In each instance, she would give him a telephone number and a physical address close to where he stayed. The number would be unreachable and no one would remember ever seeing such a girl if he went to look for her at the address.

He slept with many women – sometimes three women in a day. In due course, he had contracted sexually transmitted infections. He said he had been to all West African countries where he engaged in every abominable thing conceivable. That was not all. He had fought many people including police for no reason and earned himself incarceration behind bars six times in foreign prisons, particularly in Mali and Guinea. He was losing many friends for his unpredictable violent behaviour. He said the evil spirit tormented him so much in his modeling career that it started to crumble before his own eyes and there was nothing he could do about it. After failing to get solution from witch-doctors and various churches, he decided to come to The SCOAN.  First, his brother brought him the Anointing Water. Although he was not a strong believer, he decided to minister it. Soon afterwards, he noted a change in his life. He no longer felt like smoking and his lust for women eased.

One night, he saw Prophet T.B. Joshua in a dream, delivering him. He decided to come to The SCOAN in Lagos, where the power of the Holy Spirit located him as Wise Man Daniel ministered prayer and deliverance, in Jesus’ name. The evil spirit was confronted by the mighty power of the Holy Spirit and was instantly arrested but not before it confessed its atrocities such as causing him to lust after women, smoke and fight. The demon was cast out, in the name of Jesus Christ. And since that deliverance, Paul said he had become a changed person.

“I used to think evil – bad things. I thought I was having fun. That is not the way anymore. Anger is gone, even if you slap me now, I will just laugh and say thank you,” he said as he gave thanks to God for his freedom.

FROM BARRENNESS TO FRUITFULNESS

Pastor and Mrs Joseph Abumere had the problem of barrenness for six years. Doctors cited pelvic inflammatory disease as the cause. Every time she conceived, the pregnancy would go. Not having children brought shame to the family. Her husband, being a pastor, had dedicated many children to God and yet, they could not have their own. For six years, they faced a lot of name-calling and rejection. Every time she saw her menstruation, she would be crying, asking God why she could not conceive. They prayed and fasted but still, nothing. They started watching Emmanuel TV and saw how the man of God, Prophet T.B. Joshua, was being used by God to break yokes. They agreed to come to The SCOAN, where they received the Anointing Water and prayed that God would do it for them. After ministering it, in Jesus’ name, they met as husband and wife and to the glory of God, the yoke was broken. She went back to the hospital for another medical test. Its result confirmed that she no longer suffered from pelvic inflammatory disease. In no time, she conceived and now they have a bouncing baby girl.  God Almighty wiped away Mrs Abumere’s tears of barrenness through the medium of the Anointing Water and brought honour to the pastor’s home!

FAMILY CURSE SURRENDERS TO ULTIMATE POWER

Miss Christiana Legon was having pain in her side and lower back but real horror struck her when she went for a scan and the doctors discovered an enlarged liver and hepatitis. The moment the doctors mentioned the disease, she remembered many members of her family who had succumbed to the same problem. Her brother had once been asked to go for a transplant only to die later. The thought of being the next, was unbearable. The doctors told her that she needed to come back for another test. Before she could go back, her legs started to swell. She tuned-in to Emmanuel TV and prayed along with Prophet T.B. Joshua. As she prayed, she said, she felt like a burden had been lifted off her. The pain also left her. She went back to the hospital and went for another test and, to the glory of God and disbelief of doctors, Hepatitis A and Hepatitis C could no longer be found in her system! The power of God through the medium of the Anointing Water had wiped them out. She went for several tests and all proved she was healed of an enlarged liver and hepatitis. Praise God!

LIGHT SUBDUES DARKNESS AS PASTOR RECEIVES DELIVERANCE!

It was all but a battle of futility for the demon that had tormented Pastor and Mrs Roland Tabe from Cameroon for over a decade. It had no chance against the power of the Holy Spirit. The couple, both ministers of God, came to The SCOAN with the problem of setback and depression in their family and ministry. Pastor Roalnd Tabe had the spirit of anger that often sent him into tantrums. As a result, there was no love in the family. This also affected his ministry which stopped growing and faced collapse. He had been a pastor for more than ten years and he would hear a voice tell him to give up and quit being pastor. His church would have programs and gain in membership, but the people would suddenly leave. He would pray for people and they would be healed but they would go and give testimony elsewhere. Members were leaving the church in large numbers.

One night, in her dream, the wife saw the man of God, Prophet T.B. Joshua, ministering in their church and delivering people. She considered this a revelation and decided with her husband to come to The SCOAN. It was while praying in the Arena of Liberty, that the evil spirit spoke out and confessed being responsible for the agony the two had been going through.

While they were seated among the congregation at The SCOAN, one of the wise men came and prayed for him, in the name of Jesus Christ.  He felt a hot sensation run through his body. The evil spirit confessed that it had killed many members of his family and destroyed their ministries. Testifying in the church, he said that while he was young, he once stayed with his aunt who was a prostitute. During that time, she took him to a shrine where they performed a ritual on him by making incisions in his body and that his blood was taken and used for the ritual in the shrine.

“I am now a new person. The urge to leave my ministry is gone. I also have affection for my wife,” he said. He then advised other ministers of God that pride goes before a fall and that they should all be humble and ready to receive their deliverance.

A day of wondrous worship and spiritual transformation!  For those that worshipped at The SCOAN in Lagos, Nigeria and viewers of Emmanuel TV all over the world, no words probably could describe last Sunday service better. The service left the congregants with spiritual fulfilment and rebirth that will reshape their belief irrespective of their situations. The man of God, Prophet T.B. Joshua, walked into the auditorium with one edifying message: “In the past, you walked in darkness but now, you have the light of God.” The words re-echoed with more transformative power, a message delivered earlier by Evangelist Yinka who called on people not to be short-sighted by their situations, but look beyond.

Prophet T.B. Joshua said: “When one is adopted by the Holy Ghost, he has access to Jesus Christ of Nazareth and as such, should not listen to one’s situation to act out of character.” God’s Word, he said, “is the final authority.”  He enthused: “No matter the situation you are facing, God’s Word settles all questions. God’s Word is the final authority settling all matters confronting us. Don’t listen to your situation or challenges, to act out of character. Let the weak say I am strong. ‘All ye that labour, I will give you rest’, that is God’s Word.”

He further stated: “If you truly serve God in truth and faith, whatever situation you are facing is to prepare you. That you are serving God in truth and faith, however, does not mean you will not face challenges. It was in the midst of challenges that Jesus found me, took me and is using me today. Let your heart be fixed and established on the living Word of God. The matter is settled. When Jesus Christ was raised up from the dead, He went on the Cross for you and died for you so that you could live for Him.”

The man of God then prophesied to nations hinting on impending socio-and economic crises on the African continent. He also prophesied to the congregation, exposing hidden truths that chained people’s lives to satan so he can manipulate them and destroy their destinies. The sick were prayed for and declared healed in Jesus’ name while the afflicted were also released from their diverse bondages.

Earlier on, Evangelist Yinka delivered a strong and edifying message titled: See Beyond Your Situation. She opened the eyes of the congregants to the truth of the transformative power of Jesus Christ and told them not to be blinded by tribulations but to realize that in every situation, God is saying something.  Her proof text was from James 1:2-4; 12.

“When God is executing His plans in our lives, He also designs and arranges events which will continue to unfold until His purpose is revealed in our lives. Those events could be trial, persecution, sickness or humiliation. Remember, God oftentimes visits His people in hard times so that they may learn His way,” she said adding, “In Genesis 39, when Joseph found himself in prison, the Bible says, he did not allow the prison condition to overwhelm him. He knew that for him to be the source of freedom to his people, he had to taste imprisonment.” 

She said those who see beyond their immediate situation do not despair in the face of seeming disappointment. Also referring to the book of Daniel 6, she said God arranged the events of Daniel in exile when he was faced with the reality of life.

“A captive, a slave who was supposed to be seen and not to be heard, Daniel was condemned to die in a den of hungry lions, but he looked at his situation by faith and he saw redemption, he saw freedom and God shut the mouth of the lions. When you see beyond your pain, God will manifest to you the benefit of His great salvation. No matter the situation, always remember that when we accept adversity, enduring every pain, then we would learn what we should know; our grief will turn to gain,” she said.

SIX YEARS BARRNNESS, NINE MISCARRIAGES!

Nine miscarriages in six years! That was the traumatizing situation Mr Kingsley Clinton and his wife, Faith, faced that they could not believe they would ever have children to call their own. The doctors they visited could not say what was responsible for the problem. After exhausting all their finances looking for an answer and almost losing all hope, they decided to come to The SCOAN for prayers where they were blessed with the Anointing Water. They had always listened to testimonies of people who had once been in their situation.

Now with the Anointing Water in their hands, they prayed with it and ministered it on their bodies, asking Jesus to remove their shame from them. One month later, Mrs Clinton conceived. The purpose for their coming on Sunday was to testify that the mother-to-be is now eight months pregnant, a feat they had never experienced in their life before the use of the Anointing Water. They thanked God for the miracle He had performed in their lives.

 
PASTOR DELIVERED FROM ADDICTION TO PORNOGRAPHY
Pastor George from the USA testified of how the devil toyed with his life by chaining him to pornography. He was introduced to the ungodly behaviour in 1985 by a friend and it enslaved him for many years. In 2003, he gave his life to Christ but the problem became so bad that on his honeymoon following his wedding, he preoccupied his time watching pornography on television. He said his addiction to the illicit videos affected his ministry and his marriage to the point that he almost lost both. He went to many pastors and churches, prayed and fasted but the devil’s padlock remained intact. His wife would catch him watching pornography on his iPad at night while they were in bed. She caught him a few times watching it but he would argue that he was watching something else.

One day, he had a dream in which he saw Prophet T.B. Joshua, whom he had never met before. He told him that all he needed to be delivered was to have faith. Two weeks later, his wife came across a video of Prophet T.B. Joshua on YouTube and asked him if he had ever heard of this pastor before. He said he had never seen him but recognized him from the dream he had a few weeks earlier.

He considered this to be a revelation from God, that his solution was at The SCOAN. He came to The SCOAN and received the Anointing Water. He would minister it every morning and night on himself, in the name of Jesus Christ. Then, one day, he realized that he no longer had the urge to watch pornography.

“I became a man again, a husband again; I was whole again”, he exclaimed joyfully to the glory of God. His wife also testified to his complete deliverance from this pornographic addiction, saying they now talk more and everything about their relationship has improved.

Chief Chima Choice Nwadike, a Nigerian living in South Africa was facing many challenges in his life. Among his many problems was the struggle to finish his house and he eventually gave up. His financial challenges were so serious that he could not even pay his children’s school fees. He had to borrow money from his parents for his children to go to university. His frustrations in life were made worse with the name-calling he was getting for failing to finish his house in the village for 25 years.

He decided to relocate to South Africa in search of a better life. In due course, he started watching Emmanuel TV at his friend’s shop. He was amazed at the messages and wonders God was performing through The SCOAN.  He could not help but install the cable for Emmanuel TV in his house. He eventually came to The SCOAN and received the Anointing Water. He went straight to his abandoned home and ministered it on the ruins before he flew back to his base in South Africa. Favour fell on him and his business started picking up.

FROM BARRENNESS TO FRUITFULNESS

Mr and Mrs Chukwudi Edeh came from South Africa to give testimony of how God had blessed them with a baby after years of barrenness. Mrs Edeh was suffering from what is known as polycystic ovarian syndrome, ovarian cysts and endometriosis. This deprived the couple from having a baby. They visited many hospitals, looking for solution.

All doctors could do was diagnose the problem and give them different treatments which never led to pregnancy. They would attend baby showers of other couples of their age but the joy never manifested in their own domain! They were so devastated and humiliated. One day, they discovered Emmanuel TV on YouTube and concluded that the solution was in God’s hands at The SCOAN. They came and received the Anointing Water.

They went back to South Africa and began ministering and praying together on a daily basis. On one of Mrs Edeh’s routine check-ups at the doctor’s office, she did a pregnancy test and it came out positive. On Sunday, they came holding the baby boy in their hands whom they have christened, ‘Emmanuel’, in honour to God for the miracle baby He has blessed them with.

MODEL’S WRECKED FORTUNES, STAGNANT CAREER RESTORED
Model, actress and beauty salon owner, South African Tshidi Mphaki, had the problem of career failure and disappointment. She used to get many jobs as a model and actress but for seven years, things stopped working for her. She would go to many castings but would not be offered a job. Someone else would be cast for the role.

She came to The SCOAN and was blessed with a bottle of the Anointing Water which she took home and began to minister in Jesus’ name. Soon, she received a call from one of her casting agents. Before she went for the interview, she prayed and anointed herself with the Anointing Water in Jesus’ name. The following day, she was offered the role. Not long after, she was given two more jobs. Now every other area of her life has taken a positive swing. Praise God!

PROPHECY BANISHES SUICIDAL THOUGHTS
Kostadinka Machaka from Switzerland received a prophecy from the man of God, Prophet T.B. Joshua that she was having the spirit of suicide and that he saw her writing a suicide note. In confirmation of the prophecy, she said that she had had the spirit of suicide for the past 20 years and had turned her back on God thinking that He had abandoned her.

She also confirmed that the letter she was writing was to her mother telling her that she was going to commit suicide but something stopped her and she never finished the letter. After the prophecy given to her by Prophet T.B. Joshua, she was delivered by the power of the Holy Spirit and in the name of Jesus Christ. She no longer has the thoughts of suicide but complete peace of mind and is convinced beyond reasonable doubt that God loves her.   Hallelujah!

VOMITED THREE COWRIES EACH

Viewers of Emmanuel TV and worshippers at The SCOAN in Lagos, Nigeria should be familiar with the controversial issue of the witch doctor who was prophesied to early last month concerning a deadly evil covenant with his wife young enough to be his daughter if not granddaughter.

Chief and Mrs Adeola Adeyemo indeed came to The SCOAN early last month. While seated, the man of God, Prophet T.B. Joshua, approached the 80 year-old man and told him, “You are a witch doctor”. Although he tried to refuse, he eventually confessed and it turned out that he was a ‘General’ of his trade in his own right.  It turned out that his marriage with his 35 year-old wife was full of controversy.

Not only that, it turned out that the former witch doctor had used his powers to evoke a covenant that would keep the two together in life and death; that after one had died, the other would follow immediately. The mindboggling confession shocked the congregation and viewers.

The man of God prophesied that the woman had three cowries inside her, which were part of the covenant and that the aged witch doctor had his own inside his body too which were invoked inside them through charms and not by physically swallowing them.

Three weeks ago, during mass prayer ministered by Prophet T.B. Joshua, it all unfolded before the viewers’ own eyes as the woman vomited two cowries in a pool of blood. These, the man of God said, were the foretold charms Mr Adeyemo had evoked into his wife to chain her to him. He said the remaining one would still come out. Indeed, it did during the subsequent mass prayers to the astonishment of the viewers!

Last Sunday, the young woman came in alongside her aged husband to show the three cowries she had vomited and how light and happy she had been since then. She said the night following her deliverance, she had a dream of masquerades which, previously before her deliverance, had always tormented her in nightmares by making her sing and dance with them. But this time around, when she was about to start singing for and dancing with them, she saw herself shouting ‘Emmanuel!’ Immediately, a bright fire came and lifted her up out of the midst of the masquerades. The masquerades died there and then. Since then, she said that she no longer has those nightmares and has been sleeping soundly.

Mr Adeola Adeyemo told the congregation he was happy for his wife and prayed that the grace that had visited his wife would also visit him so that he could vomit out his own evil cowries. He did not have to wait long. No sooner than the man of God ministered mass prayer, the former witch doctor bent into two and vomited his three cowries. The couple is now delivered by the power of the Holy Spirit. Jesus has set them free. When God sets one free, he is free indeed!

Awe inspiring, exalting and liberating, are the key words that, probably, describe last Sunday service best. From the faith-building testimonies to prophecies and teachings, the experience was as priceless to the congregants as it was to viewers of Emmanuel TV all over the world. The man of God, Prophet T.B. Joshua, continued from where he had left off the previous week and prayed for the world, asking for the blood of Jesus Christ to cover every nation for peace and prosperity.

Ministering the Word with power, he called on the congregants and viewers of Emmanuel TV to ask for God’s favour, mercy and forgiveness for their respective nations. This was a continuation of the previous week’s prayer when he cried to God for the nations of Nigeria, Cameroon, Ghana and the rest of the world especially those nations with trouble spots. The man of God then ministered at the Prayer Line where God set His people free from various evil afflictions that tormented their lives. They were declared healed from sicknesses and delivered from demons, in the name of Jesus Christ.

Earlier in the day, Evangelist Michelle preached on the topic, ‘Energised by God’, a message that urged Christians to hold onto their priceless inheritance as children of God if they are to withstand and win the battle over satan. Referring to two great men of the Bible, Moses and Stephen, she said in our spiritual walk with the Lord, there are good and hard times alike but what matters is the relationship one has with his Creator. She said the moment one gets connected to God, one is no more oneself in idea and behaviour but totally absorbed into the idea and way of our Lord and that no state of being is as rewarding as living in tune with God!

Stephen, she said, knew that the everlasting joy of finally being with his Creator after the stoning could not be equated to the temporary pain he felt as each stone pelted his mortal body.

“But, today, when the stones of rejection, intimidation, humiliation, name calling and campaign of calumny hit us; when the stones of tests and trials hit us, we need to speed up. When the stones of all kinds hit us, we need to speed up because all the attacks, I mean trials are meant for our spiritual benefit – to improve us, not to impair us because our struggles make us stronger.

Mrs Esther James Jada, from the Republic of South Sudan, is a living testimony of how God honours the humble and rewards those who trust and wait upon him in faith. One, who was a local market girl due to limitations in life coupled with the death of her father earlier in life, now, walks the corridors of the rich and powerful. She is the Executive Secretary of the country’s Vice President.

While poverty was knocking on her door, to her surprise, a friend volunteered to sponsor her trip to The SCOAN. She came, prayed and received the Anointing Water.

On her return, she received a call from the presidency of South Sudan and to her utmost surprise, was offered a job as Executive Secretary to the Vice President of the republic. What she had desired for many years came by grace in a short while after she ministered the Anointing Water and left everything to God Almighty.

Now able to sponsor the education of all her siblings, she thanked Jesus Christ for His abundant provision in her life. She showed pictures of the beautiful house and new car God has provided her with. How wonderful God is!

HUSBAND BROUGHT BACK TO LIFE BY CHRIST’S RESURRECTION POWER!

Dr. Dora Akenteng from Ghana but based in the US, was lost for words when she stood before the congregation to testify how God had saved her from widowhood. She told of how death had robbed her of her husband, an Agric-economist, only for the resurrection power of Jesus Christ to manifest itself in their lives through the restoration of his life.

One day while in the house, her husband had complained of dizziness. She went to the kitchen to prepare him breakfast. She was about to serve the food when she realised that her husband had turned pale. When she advanced to touch him, he simply fell back. As a medical practitioner, she realised that he had become abnormally cold. His breath had also gone out of him. She was confused and worried as they were the only two in the house. The word ‘widow’ suddenly became a huge reality to her. She began thinking about how her life would be meaningless without him. “He lay lifeless in my arms – clinically dead,” she said.

Dr Akenteng said, as one with a medical background, she had extensive experience of dealing with terminal cases and her husband had indeed lost life. In her desperation and confused state of mind, she even had difficulty dialing 911. After 10 minutes, she suddenly remembered that she had the Anointing Water in the house. She grabbed it and started ministering the Anointing Water on her husband and prayed for the resurrection power of Jesus Christ to locate him. As she ministered the Anointing Water, a force hit her husband in the back to eject him from where he lay. He vomited in the aftermath, and subsequently gasped for air.

When he woke up, he was shocked and asked his wife why he was drenched with vomit. She felt both nervous and excited, telling him that he had died and resurrected!

Charity Musukwa

Charity Musukwa, a Gospel musician from Zambia, would have been confined to a wheel chair right now if it was not for the healing power of the Great Physician, Jesus Christ, who restored her broken bones when doctors had declared her case impossible to reverse. Ms Musukwa was on one fateful day, coming from a Gospel music event when the saloon car she was travelling in, crashed. The car spun and rolled over six times to become an instant write-off. As a result of the accident, her rib was broken from the back-bone, throwing her into a state where she could not walk. The damage was too severe to repair medically and doctors told her she would never walk again. She was given a body brace and later condemned to a wheelchair. She was always in pain and felt traumatised. The thought of never walking again was too much to comprehend. It would mean an end to her musical career and a life of total dependence. Her mother had to do everything for her, including taking her to the bathroom. She could not imagine how she would live like that for the rest of her life.

A friend brought the Anointing Water and ministered it on her, in Jesus’ name. Immediately, she felt something lifting out of her and the courage entered her to take a step. She took that first step of faith and that was the beginning. She started walking from that day. She can now walk and sing for God.

In her advice to the viewers she said, “Have faith in God. He can use any medium to express Himself in your life.”

 GOD’S GIFT, NAMED SARAH

Ask Theresa Ely and Anvor Ely and they will tell you the bitter heartache stemmed from many years of barrenness. They had reached their forties and hope for having a baby grew slimmer by the day. Theresa had been diagnosed with endometriosis while Anvor had a ridiculously low sperm count. The medical profession had done all they could to assist but there was no change. They were in need of a miracle; they needed the Creator of Heaven and earth to visit them by His grace and grant their heart’s desire.

 On visiting The SCOAN, Theresa was surprised to be one among few to receive a divine revelation from God over their case. Prophet T.B. Joshua prophesied to her that she had been operated on but the purpose of the operation was not achieved.

He had also said that her menstrual cycle was not regular. After the prophecy, later in the service, the man of God, Prophet T.B. Joshua ministered Anointing Water on her. She began to vomit immediately. All her sicknesses were flushed out by the power of the Holy Spirit, opening the door for God to act. Equally, the couple had the grace to attend the fruit of the womb meeting with Prophet T.B. Joshua and they were able to partake in touching the blessed mantle which was passed around to all congregants. That mantle proved to be the point of contact that Jesus Christ used to intervene in their case.

 They began to believe and trust in God, waiting on him alone. “I started clapping before the miracle happened”, she said. She knew that the word of the man of God was not his own but the very words of God. As if that was not enough, they saw the man of God in his office where he prayed for them and blessed them with Anointing Water. Full of faith, they prayed and ministered the Anointing Water. They met as husband and wife and she became pregnant. The pregnancy period was smooth with no complication. The proud parents held up their beautiful baby girl, named Sarah promising to train her in the way of the Lord.

Anvor likened their case to the leper who came back to give thanks even after ten of them had been cured. He rejoiced at the goodness of God in their lives. Their advice: “There is hope. Jesus is the hope. Jesus Christ is the answer to all fundamental issues of life. Trust in God and not man.”

FREE AT LAST TO SERVE THE LORD

 When Pastor Matthew got married he looked forward to a blissful family life but to his utter dismay, what he experienced was diametrically opposite. “I have seen hell on earth” he declared, vividly remembering the furious friction that had dominated their family life in the past.  A spirit of anger and confusion possessing his wife had done all it could to wreck a God-ordained marriage. Mrs Varughese would angrily smash things, break them and continually fight with her husband. When the spirit came upon her, she felt as though she had the combined power of 100 men in her. Later, she would realise what she did and bitterly regret it.

There was no peace or happiness in the home. Although they lived together, they were not eating, sleeping or talking together. They were like two strangers in the house. What was uncanny about it was that in the house, it was if hell was let loose but outside, she would be a humble, kind and gentle person. Nobody would believe what was going on behind closed doors.

Her husband carried her to many pastors in India for deliverance. She would be asked to fast and pray but the problem still continued. Truly tired of the state they were in, she began earnestly searching for deliverance and one day on YouTube, she encountered T.B. Joshua and the ministry of The SCOAN.

They determined to come to The SCOAN believing that Jesus Christ was able to put an end to the havoc. In 2011 on 27th February, they were sitting at the front at The SCOAN. The evil spirit within her was whispering to her to leave the front row and move to the back but her husband calmed her and told her to wait. A few moments later, during the time of prayer, Prophet T.B. Joshua came towards her and she saw a very bright light coming from him. The dark spirit within her could not stand the light and it was exposed. She was delivered and declared free.

Since the deliverance, the heaviness within her has left. She now sleeps soundly. The hatred, anger and bitterness have all vanished and have been replaced with love. “It is as if we are just married”, the couple declared joyfully, both struggling to hold their tears.  The man of God had also told her that she was going to help her husband in the ministry. Since then, she has been studying the Bible and started sharing the Word with people. There are now miracles taking place in the hospital where she works as a nurse as she takes the Anointing Water with her every day.

 Her advice to the world is: “It is not that demons cannot possess you if you are a believer. We all need deliverance.”

Pastor Matthew received a prophecy that he would serve the Lord fully. He testified that since the deliverance of his family, his ministry has grown and his marriage has been restored. He and his wife now discuss together and pray together. His advice was to stay in faith and never quit. “Call upon God and He will deliver you in His own time.”

Their daughter always felt alone as the only child; seeing the conflict between her parents, she had distanced herself from them. After the deliverance, there is now a better understanding in the family and their relationship with their daughter has been rekindled. Their daughter said that in 2012 she came to The SCOAN and that she received a prophecy that the same spirit that had haunted her mother was haunting her. She confirmed that she was always angry and stressed. But after the prophecy and her deliverance, there is peace and tranquility in the house. Her advice was for children. “Hold onto Jesus. When there is trouble and fighting in the house, pray and He will surely answer your prayers.”

“If it was not for this ministry and this deliverance, we would not be here today to say, Jesus is Lord” said Carolien Coetzee from South Africa, a lady who knows all too well the torment of demonic possession. She had been rejected and abused as a child and as a result always felt unwanted and depressed. Believing she was never good enough, she hated herself with a passion. This state of discontent led to anxiety, tension and pressure which infiltrated into her marital home. “The atmosphere in the house was always sensitive and tense” said her husband as he recalled the hours of fighting and constant friction. God had blessed the couple with a beautiful daughter but Carolien’s agitation extended to her child. She would find herself screaming at her at the slightest sign of disobedience. The evil spirit’s aim was to cause a rift in the family but the plans of satan were put to shame by the light and fire of God.

Carolien and her little daughter came to the Candlelight Service in 2012 and Wise Man Daniel prayed for her. The spirit of lust, anger and rejection within her manifested, confessing that it was from the ocean. The evil spirit confessed that its plan was to destroy the relationship between her and her daughter.

After her deliverance, she has a good relationship with her daughter and her husband. No longer tormented by self-hate, she believes and confesses that she is a child of God, loved and accepted by Him. The spirit of lust is no longer disturbing her and she now has real affection for her husband. Prior to her deliverance, she would always look for an excuse not to meet with her husband. The tension and pressure in the house has been replaced with a holy relaxation. Glory be to God! Jesus Christ is the Repairer and Restorer of broken relationships.

Last Sunday’s service was another awe-inspiring experience for those that congregated at The SCOAN in Lagos, Nigeria and viewers of Emmanuel TV. Prophet T.B. Joshua preached and taught the Gospel with power, emphasising on the need for ministers of God and Christians to recognise that demons are responsible for their calamities. He said fighting such entities, therefore, needs to be spiritual or the battle will be in futility.

Prophet T.B. Joshua said, “If we fail to realise that there are powers that cause people to be bowed down in bondage, we are fighting the wrong battle. You know what I mean by bondage or poverty. When it comes, it arrests you; it ties you down. Bondage could be temptation, infirmity, all kinds of sickness, crisis, challenges or the situation you are facing and keep talking about. When you fight the wrong battle, the battle will continue”.

Commenting on true Christianity, the prophet said that religious people are without spirituality whereas Christians are born of the Spirit of God. “We are only made Christians by living in the Word of God and by the Word living in us. We are made in our hearts to be Christians. That is, Christianity lies in the heart,” he said. Later, he led mass prayer during which contrary spirits tormenting people’s lives were exposed and cast out at the mention of the name, Jesus Christ.

Wise Man Racine had earlier opened the service with the message: Put on The New Man. The message was a call on Christians to cast away their old self and become new creations in Christ Jesus through being born again. He emphasized that no matter how one conditioned oneself from childbirth, one needs to be born again.

“We need to put on the new man, the new Self who is renewed in knowledge, wisdom, glory, ability, strength, power and grace in the image of his Creator.  We put on the new man by renewing of our mind with God’s Word and submitting our body to the authority of that Word. When you believe in Christ-Jesus, the Son of the Living God, you become a possessor of the Father’s nature. The Christian, having been born again, puts on the new man- Jesus Christ,” he said, citing a number of Books including John 5:14, Ephesians 4:22-24, Galatians 5:16,25, and Acts 11:26, among others.

Many people who received the divine touch of God in various areas of their lives through The SCOAN came on Sunday to glorify His mightiness and thank Him for His everlasting faithfulness. Below are just a few of the testimonies:

CLOSED DOORS SWING OPEN

Mr and Mrs Emmanuel Joshua Peter who reside in the UK came to testify to the greatness of God as Healer and Provider of His people. Mr Peter told his story of how poverty hit him while living in his native country of Nigeria. While he was struggling with life, he was involved in a road accident and injured his knee. His aunt advised him to visit The SCOAN for God’s intervention. During mass prayer, as Prophet T.B. Joshua was praying, he received his healing. A few weeks later he was granted a visa to Germany where favours followed him everywhere he went. He got a job and his salary increased every month. Two years later, he married his sweetheart and they continued praying along with Prophet T.B. Joshua on Emmanuel TV.  Although his employer promised to make him manager of the company, he decided to move to the UK and God established him in business there. He started congregating with The SCOAN fellowship in London and since then, the fountain of blessings has never ceased. He was able to build a big house and drives a brand new car.

 12 HORRIBLE YEARS OF BARRENNESS SMASHED

12 YEARS BARRENNESS

Humiliated by years of childlessness, Chief and Mrs Anthony Agalivie from Delta, Nigeria donned unmistakable smiles as they stepped forward to testify how God had intervened in their lives. They had been literally written off as potential parents. For 12 years after their wedding, they cried and moaned over their failure to have a baby. They travelled near and far – from one witchdoctor to another and from one church to the next – during which huge sums of money were extorted from them. Chief Agalivie counted over 100 witchdoctors and spiritualists he had visited, all in a futile struggle for the fruit of the womb. Mrs Agalivie described the years as a period of agony and shame. They had shed tears in the closed doors of their bedroom until their eyes ran dry.

Strangely for the couple, doctors could not diagnose anything wrong. Whenever Mrs Agalivie conceived, she would lose the pregnancy. In 2012, she was diagnosed with a hormonal imbalance. One day, as she watched Emmanuel TV, she saw a woman of 53 years testify how she had conceived and delivered a child after using the Anointing Water.  She realised that and sought the divine their case was not unredeemable if they attended a living church touch of God through His anointed servant. In May 2013, she came with her husband to The SCOAN during which the demon behind their childlessness was exposed and they received deliverance.

That night, Mrs Agalivie had a dream. She saw that they were in The SCOAN and a child walked from the altar to her and said, “Give me your hand. I am an Angel sent to you from God to deliver you from barrenness”. When she woke up, she was filled with joy. That month, after meeting with her husband, she became pregnant. She showed her pregnancy to the congregation as evidence of God’s triumph over the demonic influence that had existed in the couple’s life. Chief Agalivie encouraged the congregation by stating that it is never too late for God.

EX WITCH DOCTOR’S SON VOMITS CALABASH, RECEIVES DELIVERANCE
During the mass prayer with Prophet T.B. Joshua, we witnessed a young boy vomiting a calabash (gourd), a charm, along with poisonous substances. After the calabash (gourd) was vomited out, it began to move on the floor, untouched by human hands. Some moments later, it burst open and poisonous substances began to ooze out of it.
To the great surprise of the congregation, we learned that the boy was the 14 year old son of Mr Adeyemo, the 80 year old witch doctor who had been delivered a few weeks ago alongside his 35 year old wife. The wife and witch doctor had each vomited 3 cowries during the course of prayer with Prophet T.B. Joshua in previous services. After their deliverance, they said they had tried convincing the boy to come to The SCOAN for deliverance but had been unsuccessful due to the evil powers the calabash (gourd) had given to him.

Mr Adeyemo had spiritually commanded the calabash (gourd) into his son, in the same manner he had commanded the cowries into himself and his wife, in order to give him boldness to carry out evil acts and become a powerful witch doctor. His plan was for his son to take over the witch doctor practice after he had passed away but after receiving deliverance, Mr Adeyemo was desperate for his son to receive the same deliverance and give his life to Jesus Christ. It was with the pressure of his wife that his son agreed to come to The SCOAN where we witnessed his deliverance live. To God be the glory!

A COMMUNITY SAYS THANK YOU!

Twenty-six members of the Ayebabogha family came to The SCOAN to say, Thank You, Jesus! Walking joyfully to the front of the altar, the family shared how the life of their son and brother, Mr Gift Ayebabogha, a Nigerian Police Force Officer was spared through the medium of the Anointing Water. At work one morning, he was attacked by armed robbers and shot at multiple times, forcing his intestines out of his body. He was rushed to the hospital where an operation was performed and the family testified that thanks to the power of God at work in the Anointing Water which he had ministered that morning, his life was saved.

Severe post-operation complications developed and Mr Gift became unable to pass urine normally. A catheter had to be attached. Upon hearing his heartrending story, Prophet T.B. Joshua, moved with compassion, arranged for Mr Gift to be taken to India for a specialist operation and sponsored the entire trip. Having recuperated from his successful surgery in India, Mr Gift said, “The man of God, who did not even know me, used his resources and sent me for specialist medication abroad where my condition was corrected and restored”. Mr Kenneth Ndovie from Malawi was reeling from one catastrophe to another until the mercy of God touched him through the medium of the Anointing Water. He was facing financial crisis after he had lost his job and decided to go into business in an effort to make ends meet. One day, as he was travelling for business, he got a shocking call that his house had caught fire and had been gutted. He fainted upon hearing the news and people had to carry him home. Everything was destroyed but surprisingly, his Emmanuel TV decoder was spared. This encouraged his faith in the midst of calamity and he continued to pray with Prophet T.B. Joshua on Emmanuel TV. Many of his friends had deserted him because of his poverty. No one wanted to associate with him. One day, a good friend lent him some money. Instead of investing it in his business, he decided to use it for transport and came to The SCOAN. He received the Anointing Water and when he returned home, all closed doors swung open. He received a contract as a big distributor of airtime credit for one of the major telecommunication companies in the country. Since that time, he has built a five bedroom house on eight plots of land, replete with a swimming pool. Not only that, he has a fleet of cars his staff use for distribution of recharge vouchers. Borrowing a leaf from the man of God Prophet T.B. Joshua, he has likewise gone into charitable activities and is helping the poor.

SPIRIT OF BEDWETTING AND STEALING DISGRACED IN YOUNG GIRL’S LIFE
During the time of prophecy in the live service the previous week, Prophet T.B. Joshua had encountered Miss Joana Agboga from Abuja, Nigeria and the darkness in her was immediately exposed. A young lady that was calmly standing in the congregation moments before was suddenly aggressively fighting as the demon within her began to manifest.

 Now delivered from the evil spirit, Miss Joana Agboga stood before the congregation of The SCOAN to thank God for His intervention in her life. A beautiful young girl from a wealthy home, she explained that the evil spirit had caused her to bedwet since the age of five. Even in boarding school, her classmates would cover up for her when she bedwet in the night. The evil spirit also made her to steal even though she never lacked materially or financially. It stifled her academic progress as her mind would blackout during examinations. The evil spirit also made her to be very stubborn and hot-tempered, throwing tantrums. She previously used to avoid watching Emmanuel TV, preferring to watch movies or music videos but now realised that she did not like to see people being saved, healed and set free because what was inside her was opposite to the light of God. Addressing the issue of deliverance, Prophet T.B. Joshua, said, “If we fail to realise that there are powers that cause people to be bowed down in bondage, we are fighting the wrong battle”.

After her deliverance in the power of the Holy Spirit from the spirit that scattered her destiny, Joana happily declared that she no longer experiences bedwetting or the urge to steal. Equally overjoyed, her mother, Mrs Elizabeth Agboga stood by her side to thank God for the transformation in her daughter’s life. Emphasizing the importance of maintaining the miracle, Prophet T.B. Joshua told her that on the last day, she will stand to testify how she helped her daughter maintain her deliverance.

DON’T STOP DOING GOOD – T.B. JOSHUA
Perhaps the most moving event of the day was the testimony of Mr Lucky, made possible by the singular act of kindness of one of the heads of security at The SCOAN. Mr Lucky explained that in 2008, he was busy working as a loading boy in a Lagos market place, assisting women to carry their goods. One day, he saw a woman in a pool of blood. A vehicle had run her down and she was about to die. Having little money with him, he felt compassion for the woman and used the money to take the woman to the hospital. Arriving at the hospital, the woman died and he was arrested for her murder. He had been in prison for five and a half years. It was while there that he encountered a man wearing one of the yet-to-be released Faith Bracelets from Prophet T.B. Joshua. The stranger told him to hold the hand with the bracelet and pray with him, believing God for his heart’s desire. That night, he had a dream of Prophet T.B. Joshua, telling him that he would be set free. Miraculously, 11 days later, he was released from the prison. He headed straight to The SCOAN with only the clothes on his back.  It was there that one of the heads of security discovered him crying by the church premises after unsuccessfully trying to enter the packed auditorium. He had all the looks of a mad man; he had unkempt hair, was dirty and was wearing rags. After listening to his story, instead of chasing him away, the SCOAN security man bathed him, bought him a new pair of trousers, shirt and sandals, and gave him 500 naira. He then got him a seat inside the church so he could partake of the service. After listening to the story, Prophet T.B. Joshua, touched by the bold step of kindness demonstrated by the security man, stated that a sum of 5 million naira would be allocated to him to continue to assist others as he has done today, saying he knows this is not the first time he had been assisting others in such a Godly way.

“Don’t stop doing good,’ he said.

If we say we are Christians, all our concerns, aspirations and heart desires must be subject to the Gospel, by works of charity, knowing that we lose nothing by doing that which pleases God.

Last Sunday was one filled with glorious worship and spiritual upliftment for those that congregated at The SCOAN, Lagos. There was evident movement of the Holy Spirit as the man of God, Prophet T.B. Joshua, prayed for people and declared them free from affliction, sickness and disease, in the name of the Deliverer and Healer, Jesus Christ.

The man of God, aided by scriptures from John 16:33 and 1 Corinthians 10:13, said there is no cause for worry and depression when faced with temptation and tribulation because God is no man that can lie about the escape route He has for Christians.

“Crisis will come but be of good cheer. When you know where you are going, whatever happens to you – cancer or tribulation – cannot change your focus. God is not a man that lies. If the revelation comes that you will get there, you will get there. That temptation is a blessing; it will make you stronger. Don’t lose your focus,” he said, adding:

“That you are a Christian does not mean you will not encounter challenges. There will be challenges, tribulations – run to God, don’t run from Him. Instead of worrying about things around you, the situation you have, run to God. He has promised He will not allow your challenges or situations beyond what you are able.”

Earlier on, in his message titled: The Words Of Your Mouth, Wise Man Harry took the congregants and viewers of Emmanuel TV to the Scripture in 1 Samuel 17:41-47. He said one thing in common between David and Goliath was that both of them confessed victory. The difference was their faith; David confessed what he believed.

He explained, “David spoke the word of faith and the giant fell. It was the word of faith coming out of David’s mouth that produced an overcoming Spirit in him. When you realise that you will never rise above your confession, you are getting to the place where God can really use you. You must learn the value of God’s Word on your lips,” he said.

BEDWETTING SHAME ARRESTED, BANISHED OUT

As a policewoman, Mrs Sarah Mensah from Ghana must have arrested so many notorious criminals in her career’s time to bring peace and justice to society. However, within her, was a notorious criminal who deserved the worst punishment and yet, she angrily and painfully walked about with her, unable to flush him out. It was an affliction of bedwetting which had haunted her for a whole 28 years of agony, right from her childhood! She explained how the problem had ruined her life, causing her embarrassment wherever she went. She could not stay in boarding school because of the shame. After secondary school, she went for police training where she had to stay in dormitories. She stayed on the upper bunk and, during the night, she would bedwet. The urine would rain on the person sleeping below. She even bedwet on her wedding night. She said that even got to a stage that while she was on her menstrual cycle, she would continue bedwetting as a result it would spread all over the mattress, soaking everything. But the devil is a liar. One day, she got the Anointing Water, prayed and ministered it on herself, in Jesus’ name. The evil spirit that had brought her shame was arrested, chained and banished out. Since that time, she has stopped bedwetting for the past one year now.

YEARS OF ALCOHOLIC BONDAGE BROKEN

Overflowing with joy, Mr and Mrs Linus Nkeamachor from Ireland came to testify how God had salvaged the remains of their marriage and made them whole again through the medium of the Anointing Water. The wife was addicted to alcohol and the family was falling apart as a result of that. She could not get up in the morning to take care of the children and take them to school. There were frequent arguments and quarrels in the home. It was against such a background that Mr Nkeamachor came to The SCOAN where he received the Anointing Water. He went back to Ireland and prayed together with his wife. To his greatest surprise, the addiction ended immediately.

Mrs Nkeamachor explained that alcohol had become her best friend and, as a result, she could not properly take care of her home and marriage. She drank all day and night long, saying she would drink alcohol like water. When her husband returned from a trip to The SCOAN in Nigeria, with the Anointing Water, he asked her to pray with him.

“It was like I woke up from four years of a bad dream,” she said.

She also shared another testimony. She is a mother of three. Her first and second children were delivered through caesarian section. For the third time, she was also booked for an operation but close to her delivery, she had a dream in which she saw Prophet T.B. Joshua pray for her. Then, in the dream, she saw a cobweb-like substance come out of her. She woke up, went into labour and her husband rushed her to the hospital where she delivered her baby safely without any operation.

She advised, “No condition is permanent. Whatever has a beginning must have an ending. The situation you are facing will surely come to an end, in Jesus’ name.

DELIVERED FROM SPIRIT OF PROSTITUTION

“There is no gain in prostitution. Live for God and make God’s Word the standard for your life. Every man should to stay with his partner,” this was the advice from a young mother of one, Vivian Agbonlahor who was delivered last week from the evil spirit of prostitution. She had to be coaxed to come to The SCOAN by a friend who was concerned by the ungodly and risky lifestyle she was living. When she came, the evil spirit in her was exposed and arrested as Wise Man Harry approached and stretched his hand on her. The evil intruder identified itself as the family idol which had enslaved her and made her to sleep with men. Delivered and free, she shared her testimony:

She grew up in the city and when she visited the village at age 19, she was told that every member of the family had an idol and that she should step into the village river for 14 days, to collect her own. When she refused, she was told that the family idol’s spirit would get her and bring shame to her life. Later, while at a boarding school one day, she heard a voice tell her not to waste her time in bed but go out to sleep with men like other girls on campus were doing. She started prostituting, meeting with all classes of men. She said the voice spoke to her heart controlling her like a remote. For four years she lived this life, from 19 to 23 years of age.

She would wear revealing dresses and wait on men. She would also go to clubs, drinking and looking for men. The money she made, she would spend on alcohol. She went to other countries to do prostitution including Ghana and Cotonou. She has a child but because she wanted more money, she went outside the relationship. The father of the child got fed up and left without telling her. She said there was a time she fell into the hands of a ritualist who told her she was lucky with him otherwise, he would have killed and bundled her into a bag. Such was her lifestyle and its hazards until a friend told her of God’s love and invited her to The SCOAN. After a struggle, she came. That was how she ended up being set free.

“Ever since the deliverance, I have gone through a lot of temptation with people calling my phone to meet me at certain places but it only irritates me,” she said adding that she no longer hears the voice telling her to go out and prostitute. The urge, has completely gone. Praise God!

GHANA’S DJ FRANKIE WINS IT FOR CHRIST!

Mr Frankie Taylor, a radio presenter, actor and movie producer in Ghana, was a mover and shaker of his industry in his own right. His music had changed many lives in his country and beyond. Yet, he never seemed to get the recognition he deserved for his hard work and talent. In 2013, he visited The SCOAN and had the opportunity to explain his challenges to Prophet T.B. Joshua. He told the prophet that he had been nominated for many awards over the years but never won anything. The man of God prophetically told him, “Faith is a virtue of victory, the best is yet to come.”  He took those words in faith and soon began to see that victory had become a reality in his life. He was nominated for music awards in both the UK and Canada. As if that was not enough, he was soon recognised in his own nation during the 2014 Ghana DJ Awards where he was voted Best Music Promoter. When he received the award, he publicly dedicated it to his mentor of God, Prophet T.B. Joshua, at the national theatre in Ghana. He shouted, “Emmanuel!” and the whole audience replied, “God With Us!”

Offering advice, he said, “Do everything with the fear of the Lord, in all your ways acknowledge God.”

DEATH CANCELLED THROUGH T.B. JOSHUA’S HANDKERCHIEF

Miss Badenhorst from South Africa is a living testimony of how Jesus’ power of resurrection restores life. She had been involved in a horrible horse riding accident in 2004 that had led her to being in a coma. Doctors told her father that she had a less than one percent chance of living and, if she survived, she would be brain dead. She was only nine years old then. Mr Badenhorsts heard that Prophet T.B. Joshua was in Cape Town holding a revival meeting.  He went there and believed that if he could only get to the Man of God; his daughter would be made well. As Prophet T.B. Joshua walked past him, he reached out, took hold of the prophet’s hand and asked him for a prayer. The Prophet told him not to worry about his situation. Later, he had the grace to meet the man of God where he explained that his daughter, was in hospital in a critical condition, surviving only on life-support machines. Prophet T.B. Joshua gave him a handkerchief and instructed him to place it on his daughter’s ear. When he reached the hospital with the handkerchief in his hand, the doctor said that his daughter would not make it and was already removing the life support machines. Mr Badenhorst prayed and believed that through the handkerchief, Jesus would manifest His power and heal his daughter. He laid it on her ear and within five minutes, she stirred, exhaled and called to her father, “Pa”. She miraculously made a full recovery. Miss Badenhorst is now 19 years old and training as a pilot – her childhood dream.

“The only thing I can remember about my situation then was waking up in a hospital mentally fit but wondering why I was there,” she said of her experience.  She is a living testimony of God’s awesome power.

ANOINTING WATER STOPS BLEEDING AND REMOVES FIBROIDS

Five years ago, Mrs. Callista Thomas gave birth. Since that time, she started bleeding. She went to different hospitals where a number of scans were carried out. Every time it would show that she had fibroids. The doctors told her to go for an operation but she had a better idea. She came to The SCOAN where she received the Anointing Water. Immediately after ministering it, in Jesus’ name, the bleeding ceased. She went to the hospital to do a scan and, to her joy; it showed that all the fibroids were gone.

GOD SAVES 20 HOMES FROM BURNING DOWN

Mrs Beatrice Thomas, from the United States and her husband, are strong believers of the evangelical items from The SCOAN such as the Anointing Water, Emmanuel TV and Anointing Stickers. They have placed the stickers at all doors of their apartment as contact points for their Heavenly protection. One day, she was cooking corn maize and when the husband tasted it, he discovered that it was not yet ready. He put it back on the stove and turned up the heat. They forgot about it and went out of the house. Six hours later, the corn was burning and the smoke from the pot triggered the fire alarm. Fire fighters stormed into the apartment to stop the impending tragedy only to discover that no fire had spread into the apartment which would have affected the 20 other apartments in the building. They ended up sitting in the lounge watching Emmanuel TV which is the 24 hour channel for the house. When Mrs Thomas and her husband returned home, they were shocked to see fire fighters there, confused at how the apartment had failed to catch fire and asked them which god they were serving! She told them she worships God through Emmanuel TV to which they replied, “Jesus is a cool guy”. She showed a picture of the burnt corn and advised, “It’s good to always have Emmanuel TV on.”

INSTANT BABY DELIVERY

The glorious worship was crowned by the birth of a miracle baby delivered right at The SCOAN. Mr and Mrs Ben Edokpolor came to The SCOAN in search of solution to the problem of wrong position of the baby in the womb. They had been to the hospital where the doctor told them the way out was through an operation. The couple refused, believing that God would enable her to deliver the baby safely. At that time, there were still no contractions. They rushed to The SCOAN where Mr Edokpolor received the Anointing Water and ministered it on his wife, in Jesus’ name. Immediately, she started to feel some discomfort. Some time later, she started to experience contractions and she went into labour. Wise Man Harry prayed for her and she delivered her baby instantly without any operation. She advised viewers that there is nothing impossible for God.

Last Sunday was, by all descriptions, one of shocking revelations as light subdued darkness and triumphed over wicked principalities that have continued to perpetrate evil among mankind! What started like any normal day of worship at The SCOAN in Lagos, Nigeria blossomed and erupted into a day of glory when the name of the Lord was hugely magnified as He demonstrated His infinite power to protect and defend His children from evil machinations!

The service began with a message from Wise Man Christopher who taught on the nature of God as Spirit and why He is worthy of all the glory. He preached with boldness and insight on the message: “THE REAL OBJECT OF WORSHIP”, beseeching the congregants and viewers of Emmanuel TV to know the God they worship lest they give reverence to idols – anything that is placed above God in their hearts. Aided by the scripture in John 4:23-24 as proof text; he said God is Spirit for He is an infinite and eternal mind, an intelligent being, incorporeal, immaterial, invisible and incorruptible. If God were not a Spirit, he said, He could not be perfect, infinite, eternal, independent, or the Father of spirits.

He said, “If we do not worship God who is a Spirit in the Spirit, we neither give Him the glory due to His name nor do we perform the true act of worship from which we can hope to obtain His favor and acceptance. Therefore, we miss the end of the worship which is the salvation of our souls. Then, it means we worship ourselves.”

Wise Man Christopher said because God is Spirit, Christ came to declare God to mankind that God is a Spirit in the Spirit. “Remember, in the beginning, God, a Spirit, spoke and created the material. This shows that the Spirit is greater than the material. Therefore, we no longer need to go after the symbol when the real object is around, and Jesus is the real object of worship. By His resurrection from the dead, Jesus Christ has demonstrated that He is worthy of being the object of our faith, belief and the centre of our own world,” he said.

CYCLE AND CURSES OF LIMITATION BROKEN!
The phone rang. Not again, Dr Catherine grimaced. She had just received her salary and was accustomed to the bad news that would immediately accompany this. Another family member had died. As she dropped the phone, thoughts began racing. She was a senior lecturer at a prestigious Nigerian University with a healthy salary yet as quickly as the money came, it seemed to disappear.

Whether it was organizing the burial of a late family member, attending to sudden responsibilities that emerged without any invitation or spending on hospital bills for strange ailments – money could not stay in her hands. Instead of her to spend money, it was spending her! It was becoming too much. As lectures concluded one day and students left the classroom, Dr Catherine returned to her office, knelt down by her chair and began to weep. Unbeknown to her, a student was in the vicinity. Moved at her lecturer’s tears, the student advised her to buy a cable with Christian channels, specifying that if she could tune into Emmanuel TV, her situation would turn around!

Through watching Emmanuel TV, hope resurfaced for the lecturer and she decided to visit The SCOAN. Her financial situation was so severe that she even had to borrow money from fellow lecturers to visit Lagos. The receiving of the Anointing Water signaled the start of a remarkable chain of events that transformed Dr Catherine’s fortunes. The strange events that encroached her each time she received her salary, disappeared, enabling her to save up some funds for the very first time! Shortly afterwards, she was able to buy a car of her own. She further testified that because the Anointing Sticker was placed on her car, even though she lived in an area notorious for criminals, no single thief touched her car. Thereafter, she began planning towards building a house, incredibly having the opportunity to purchase a plot of land. With the foundations for her new house already in place, indeed, the cycle and curses of limitation have been broken in the life of Dr Catherine Agbor.

A MEDICAL MIRACLE!
Bleep. Bleep. Bleep. The continuous drone of the life support machine was only the signs of life for the young baby of Goitseone Sekolokwane. Her twins were born prematurely, one dying shortly after birth. The other was diagnosed to have a hole in her heart and chances of survival were medically determined as being practically non-existent. Even if she were to survive, the grim prognosis was that she would be disabled for life, unable to talk or walk. With various tubes fixed to her body and machines littered around, the bed where she lay was a vast medical attempt to preserve the life of the young baby who was a mere 0.6kg when she was born at just 24 weeks. The Motswana who is a resident in Atlanta, Georgia was on the verge of despondency. Doctors had told her never to remove the tubes that enabled her to feed safely but, moved at the desperate sight of her child slowly dying, she decided to remove the tubes and feed her with a bottle.

Once nurses discovered this, Mrs Sekolokwana was charged to court for violating the doctor’s orders and her child was snatched from her care.

Desperation at its peak, Goitseone decided to visit The SCOAN in Lagos, Nigeria, where she was privileged to receive the Anointing Water. The first miracle was a judge acquitting her of maltreating her child and enabling the baby to be returned to her. From there, she began ministering the Anointing Water every day to her baby whilst ensuring she complied with all the medical requirements given to her. Several months later, while returning to the hospital for a checkup, the doctors in charge of her case called her to enter their office. Amazed, they told her that her baby was completely healthy and no longer needed medical devices to support her! Two years later, she is now a healthy, happy child who is walking, talking and boisterously enjoying her young life!

ANOINTING STICKER CONFUSES HIJACKERS!
“God of T.B. Joshua, save me!” It was a desperate plea triggered by desperate circumstances. A gun was pointed at Yigermal Embeka’s head. His vehicle, filled with goods for his shop in South Africa, had been carjacked by a large group of notorious bandits. The young Ethiopian had been travelling towards Johannesburg when several vehicles surrounded him, forcing him to halt.

Yigermal heard his captives arguing angrily among themselves. His prayer was seeing instantaneous results! As the disagreement within the hijackers heightened, so Mr Embeka’s prayers intensified. Shortly afterwards, the armed bandits pushed him out of the car and sped off. His life was safe but his car was still in custody of the assailants. However, Yigermal was not worried, for the car had the Anointing Stickers.

After contacting the police and describing the scene, he was told the chances of the car’s recovery were extremely slim. His faith didn’t flinch. He told the police that an identifying feature of his car was an Anointing Sticker from T.B. Joshua, written, ‘Let love lead’. Several hours later, a bemused policeman called him back, asking him to clarify about the sticker he said was on his vehicle. “Sir, your car with that sticker on it has been found and nothing has been taken,” he told him! Mr Embeka further added that at the time of his initial visit to The SCOAN he was a struggling businessman but since his return, he is now the proud owner of five flourishing shops!

SUICIDE STOPPED – HEALED FROM HIV/AIDS!
Just end it all. Dangerous thoughts whirled within. As Mr Ubon Ukpong held the disheartening medical document in his hand, suicide seemed like an easy way out of the misery. In the prime of his youth, Mr Ukpong had been tested positive to the deadly disease of HIV/AIDS. Dreams, hopes, ambitions seemed to crumble as the full realisation of what the report he was holding actually meant, dawned on him. As he struggled to compose himself, his brother arrived home. Telling him the grim news, the brother encouraged him not to lose hope, advising him to continue searching for solution. Four years down the line and Mr Ukpong’s condition had deteriorated. The once vibrant and athletic young man was a shadow of his old self.

Plagued by persistent weakness and internal aches, he barely scaled through his education and was unable to engage in any form of strenuous activity.

Introduced to Emmanuel TV while in Yobe State doing his NYSC, he decided to take a step of faith and visit The SCOAN in Lagos. Arranged at the prayer line in 2008, Prophet T.B. Joshua prayed for him in the power of the Holy Spirit. As he stretched forth his hand towards Mr Ubon, he testified, a weight fell from his shoulders. Newness of life and vigour were restored in a glorious and Holy Spirit inspired instant. Several months later, Mr Ubon returned to the same hospital, a Federal Medical Center that had initially diagnosed him. The results were astounding: negative!

GOD WILL NOT ABANDON HIS PEOPLE!
Mr and Mrs Prince Emeka Jideofor faced nine years of childlessness, and did not know where certainty of ever becoming a parent would come from, as medical doctors’ diagnosis reported that the husband had a low sperm count and the wife, a tube blockage.

Described as an emotionally and psychologically distressing nine-year period without a child in their matrimonial home, the couple experienced neglect and abandonment. Mr Jideofor lamented over how it became an unbearable sight any time he came across a pregnant woman. This forced him to sometimes ask God, “When will I see my own?” On her part, Mrs Jideofor is a professional nurse who had helped others overcome their challenges while she battled with hers. Alas! She could not help herself. After exploring a number of sources for a solution to achieve conception without any luck, a friend introduced the couple to The SCOAN where they met Prophet TB Joshua, who blessed them with the Anointing Water. The couple went home, held hands, prayed and ministered the Anointing Water. They then met as husband and wife, and three months later Mrs Jideofor visited a local hospital where she was confirmed positive to being pregnant. They now have a healthy child. To God be the glory!

The couple urged everyone to believe in God even in impossibilities and have faith until the appointed time comes! “God will do it because He is God! God did not abandon me and will not abandon His people,” added Mr. Jideofor.

EMMANUEL TV BIRTHDAY BABY!
The snake’s venom seemed to sink deeper. Pain erupted. Mr Chukwuemeka awoke with a scream from the dream. The python, his constant nocturnal companion, had struck again. Plagued by terrible nightmares coupled with barrenness for five long years, Mr Chukwuemeka decided to visit The SCOAN, despite discouragement from friends. Whilst sitting in The SCOAN congregation, Prophet T.B. Joshua walked straight towards him and began to prophesy. He revealed the devilish attacks he was encountering resulted from his idolatrous background, speaking further about turmoils in his career and family. Every prophetic word was accurate, leaving Mr Chukwuemeka and his wife in tears. The night after the prophecy, a divine encounter transpired. The snake that usually came to attack him any time breakthrough was nigh returned once again.

This time, however, he saw three men clothed in white appear to strike the snake dead and declare his problems over!

That was the beginning of the couple’s breakthrough! The curse of barrenness and backwardness had been broken! Shortly afterwards, his wife fell pregnant. Nine months later, the miracle that God had started at The SCOAN with the prophecy was completed at The SCOAN! Wise Man Christopher prayed for Mrs Chukwuemeka, who was heavily pregnant and was experiencing complications in delivery. Immediately after the prayer, during the first prophetic Saturday service at The SCOAN, she delivered a baby boy! To celebrate Emmanuel TV’s eighth birthday and in acknowledgement of the remarkable testimony in their lives, they named their new baby boy Emmanuel!

DEMON LEAVING CAUGHT ON CAMERA
Prophet T.B. Joshua drew people’s attention to a particular deliverance that happened in The SCOAN last year. Replaying the video, the congregants were shocked to discover that as a lady was delivered by Wise Man Christopher, a physical vapour or smoke was seen leaving her body, clearly caught on camera. In her testimony, Mrs Prudencia Ngwenyi, from Cameroon, explained that she was from a family stooped in idol worship.

“I grew up with these demons. I didn’t know anything like God, prayer or worship. This kept tormenting me. I was passing through hell,” she said. Getting married at the tender age of 16, her marital home was characterised by constant fighting and violence. However, it was in 2008 when Prudencia opened a Facebook account that demons within her became all the more evident.

“I went to the internet and opened a page on Facebook. I put my naked picture there. The next day, I saw a man who wanted to be a friend.” The ‘man’ said he would help her with $30,000 if only she purchased some items for him in Cameroon. She complied but before sending her account number to him, requested to see his picture. The image that arrived the following day was shocking!

She narrated, “I saw a picture of a demonic elephant. That night, in my dream, a giant man appeared to me, saying I would work for him and seduce men to his kingdom.” From that day, Prudencia became an agent of satan, bleaching her body and going out to look for men to seduce them. It was only after viewing Emmanuel TV and seeing a similar case that Prudencia realized she desperately needed deliverance.

When Wise Man Christopher prayed for her, Prudencia explained that she saw the demons within her actually leaving her body – an old lady, a lion and a big snake.

“All of a sudden, I found myself on the floor. Something left me and another thing came in!” Ever since her deliverance, Prudencia testified that her life had totally transformed. Her marriage is now peaceful, her business prosperous and the terrible nightmares she once had have become a thing of the past. “I thank Jesus for saving my life, for putting the devil to shame,” she said.

The service came to a euphoric close with the Mass Prayer ministered by the Wise Men. To God be the glory!

Last Sunday service was another demonstration of how abundantly willing the almighty God is to set His people free from bondage and for the salvation of their souls.  The service, which was highly charged with the moving force of the Holy Spirit, was indeed another manifestation of God’s holiness and might over darkness and evil as the man of God, Prophet T.B. Joshua and the wise men, ministered to the congregation, in Jesus’ name, breaking all kinds of yoke in the lives of the congregants and viewers of Emmanuel TV. Prophet T.B. Joshua prayed for the sick at the prayer line, prophesied and delivered many from evil afflictions in the power of the Holy Spirit.

Earlier on, Wise Man Daniel preached on a life-transforming message titled: ‘God Does As He Wills’ which centered on God’s sovereignty in executing His master plan in people’s lives. Choosing 1 Samuel 16:6-13 as proof text, he emphasised that while Prophet Samuel considered appearance, size and experience in the warfare when sent by God to anoint one of the sons of Jesse, God Himself had chosen the least among them.

He preached, “By His grace, God looked at the shepherd boy, David and saw in him a mighty king. Today, when we are looking for a friend, a partner or someone to head the church, we are tempted to look only at the externals – outward qualities such as speaking skills, educational background, ability to inspire people, friendliness and talent. God chooses grace rather than works.”  He reiterated that God is not looking for the qualified but those available; not for the proud and arrogant but the humble in heart.

“As members of Christ’s body, we should do our duties as allotted to us by God who is the giver of various spiritual gifts and not to be envious of other gift-carriers because engaging in envy and jealousy, eventually makes you to grumble, murmur and rebel against God or query His supremacy,” he said.

DEGENERATIVE DISCS KNOCKED BACK INTO PLACE

Hon. Isaac Kwasi Kodobisah was a smart politician in his city of Ho, Volta Region in Ghana. Many people liked him. He had all the attributes of a great politician and it was no surprise that the presidency appointed him Mayor of the city which he served with diligence until the devil came knocking and hit him with a terrible disease. What started as a mere back pain, soon aggravated into a terrible illness and his fears were confirmed when he visited the hospital one day where the doctor told him, “Sir, you have a degenerative disc disease.” Hon. Kodobisah could not believe his ears. It was like a death sentence had been pronounced on him. He knew what it meant – restricted movements which would eventually knock him out of his political career, unless a miracle was found. He could not eat or sleep and at night, he could not lie down. As a result of his situation, he could not attend public gatherings in his capacity as Father of the city of Ho. Every hospital he visited could not provide treatment. He remained confined to his bed, away from his mayoral seat. It was just in an attempt to ease the pain that one doctor advised him to use a neck collar to support him. The doctor warned that he could end up being paralysed.   

How mighty and yet faithful God is! He continues to reign with power, breaking yokes and setting the imprisoned free. Last Sunday was no different at The SCOAN in Lagos, Nigeria where He prevailed over satan who brings tension and makes people to be under bondage.  The man of God, Prophet T.B. Joshua, ministered to both viewers all over the world and mammoth congregants who came from near and far, declaring them free, in Jesus’ name. Those afflicted with evil spirits were delivered just as the sick received healing by the power of the Holy Spirit. The man of God also led the congregation in praying for the nations of the world.

Earlier, Wise Man Racine preached a message, titled, INVOLVE GOD, which centred on the need to align oneself with the right direction – God’s direction – where the Holy Spirit supplies the inspiration for what to see, hear and do. Quoting Acts 16:7, he said, “God is looking for you. He sees us when we abide in His Word and His Word abides in us. He’s looking for you because He sees something you do not see. He sees far ahead. He is busy planting the seed of what you are becoming. He is looking for you because He is the Spirit of prophecy that reveals the future events; He wants to bring the future into you, showing you the direction and destination to follow”.

VOICE OF RESURRECTION FROM HEAVEN!

Who rescues but Jesus; who saves but God! Mr Nnamdi Isaac from Anambra State in Nigeria is a living example. One day, as he was travelling on a motorcycle in a busy street, a big bus hit him. The impact was so big that the bus had its windscreen shattered. He was left with head injuries and he passed out. His inert body was rushed to various hospitals. Later, while still in the world of sub-consciousness, he heard a voice ask him where his Anointing Water from The SCOAN was. He answered the voice, “Anointing Water, I don’t have but my Anointing Sticker, I have”. He placed his hand in his pocket and fished out his Anointing Sticker. Just as he did so, he stirred and opened his eyes. He was back to life! However, none of those in the vicinity including doctors, said that they had asked for the Anointing Water. The owner of the voice remained a mystery. But one thing was true and everyone could attest to – a Heavenly voice had spoken to him and God had brought him back to life.  Explaining the experience, Mr Isaac said that whenever he is leaving home, he prays and ministers the Anointing Water to himself and carries his Anointing Sticker with him. He advised, “Believe and trust in God. Carry your Anointing Sticker with you. God will protect you, in Jesus’ name”.

FROM MARKING TIME TO FORWARD MARCH

Chief Superintendent of Customs, Ugoamadi Emeka Steven was an exemplified figure of frustration. Nothing ever seemed to be working. The term ‘promotion’ had become almost non-existent. The last time he experienced a rise was in 2008 when he was promoted to the position of Superintendent of Customs Service. After that, the pulley to the top ground to a stop and watched many people fly past him. To make matters worse, promotion was dependent on the vacancies available. It was not surprising therefore that when delayed promotions were finally due this year, he became jittery. He was so anxious that he did not know what to do. He decided to run to God and came to The SCOAN where he met the man of God, Prophet T.B. Joshua who gave him the Anointing Water and assured him that all was well. Back home, he prayed with it, in the name of Jesus Christ, asking for God to intervene in his case because he had no power of his own. When the names were eventually released, he discovered that his prayer had not escaped the ears of God. Today, he is Chief Superintendent of Customs Service. What he could not achieve on his own, God has given him. “Hold on to God. The Anointing Water is an instrument God is using to save His people in these end times,” he said.

PROPHECY SOLVES CITIZENSHIP MYSTERY

When Mr Benjamin Ani first came to The SCOAN, he was completely bowed down in financial bondage and looking for a quick way out of his problems. His family was experiencing financial hardship to the extent that he could not feed them the way he used to. Neither could he pay his children’s school fees. He had been a successful importer when suddenly things tumbled and crushed. All his efforts to re-establish himself yielded nothing. He was no longer the big importer he once was and was neck deep into debt. To make matters worse, he was having vicious evil attacks in which his assailants were using his wife’s face in his dreams to bring hatred and confusion in the marriage.

Reduced to nothing and living hand-to-mouth, he decided to come to The SCOAN, hoping for a divine encounter. The man of God, Prophet T.B. Joshua, called him out and gave him a prophecy. To his surprise, it had nothing to do with his financial woes or the evil forces that were giving him scary dreams. Mr Ani had expected the man of God to speak to him about his financial nightmares. Instead, the prophet asked him where his passports were. Prophet T.B. Joshua continued, saying that Mr Ani was having a hindrance with his business because if he didn’t travel, there was no way he could get his business done.

Working towards travelling out of the country, Mr Ani borrowed money in an attempt to get a visa to travel. He also put up his jeep for sale – that was the only property he had remaining. Every embassy he applied for a visa at turned him down and he became confused.  After all his efforts had failed, he decided to sit back and wait. Little did he know that God cannot be rushed and, at the same time, that every true prophet of God will live to see that which he has prophesied come to pass.

Meanwhile, the family had been embroiled in a citizenship dilemma. His wife was born in Germany – her father is a Nigerian while her mother is from France. The wife’s mother died when she was very small and the father brought her back to Nigeria.  Since then, there had been no contact with France. She tried to get a French citizenship but was told that it was not possible because the mother was no more and there was no way that the French government could trace where she was born.

Incidentally, after receiving the prophecy, Prophet T.B. Joshua had also given them the Anointing Water. Mr Ani prayed with it and ministered it, in Jesus’ name. They believed that the issue of citizenship would be good in every member of the family. After they filled in the forms, they submitted them.  Soon after that, the French government gave them citizenship – both the national ID card and passport! Soon, they will be travelling to France to establish themselves there.

“We should always have patience, especially when we are in a difficult situation,” he advised.

MIGHTY POWER THAT SEES NO RECESSION

Recession is no laughing matter. It destroys unsparingly. Companies close and people lose jobs. It explains why Mr Koketso Selekanyo from Botswana was exasperated when meltdown crept into their national economy. He watched businesses close one after another and became increasingly worried over his own which specialised on selling hydraulic parts for machines. He was dismayed and asked Jesus to help give him direction.

Not long afterwards, he had the opportunity to come to The SCOAN where he was prayed for and given the Anointing Water. When he went back to Botswana, he started to pray with the Anointing Water and ministered it in his office and shop. He prayed to God to rescue his business. Before he knew it, many customers started to call his company wanting to buy from him. His company started to grow beyond his expectation. It was like there was no recession at all to the extent that he was able to buy a brand new car! Mr Selekanyo decided to share his blessings through philanthropy and started to bless the community around them. Since that time, God has blessed him tremendously and he now orders products from as far away as China.

He advised, “When problems come, kneel down and ask Jesus to give you direction. As you continue to minister the Anointing Water, God will continue to bless you more and more”.

PROMOTION SHOCKER AFTER ANOINTING WATER

Every time Mr Gabriel Kalumbu from Zambia stepped out of his house and headed for work, he would be worried. Not that he hated work but it was like he was working for free. He was facing serious stagnation in every area of his life. Even after working for five years for a company, he had nothing to boast about. He travelled to many places and attended so many prayer houses in search of solution but found none. It was as if God had closed His ears to his cries. He could not help but wonder if his relentless predicament was born out of sin. It was in the midst of such a struggle with life that he came to The SCOAN where he received the Anointing Water and Anointing Stickers for his house and car. To his greatest surprise, after ministering the Anointing Water, for the first time in five years, he was called and got the promotion that had always eluded him! In line with his promotion, his salary doubled! To put icing on the cake, he was able to purchase two vehicles! He advised people to have faith in God.

When you know God is reliable, faith comes spontaneously, faith grows spontaneously. These were the deep-reaching words from Prophet T.B. Joshua as he ministered to thousands of people who had gathered at The SCOAN on Sunday and, true to the pronouncement, miracles and wonders were performed spontaneously through his prayer of faith. Working in the power of the Holy Spirit, he moved among the congregation, prophesying and commanding evil spirits out of the afflicted in the name of Jesus Christ. The demons had no place to hide as he called upon the name that is above all names, the name Jesus Christ, and reversed every yoke on individuals and nations. Many people received instant healing.
Teaching about faith, the man of God said, “The more you look at God, to God and meditate on God, the more you will have faith. Faith is natural. It is not manufactured or produced by you, it is natural. We just need to know the faithfulness and trustworthiness of God. When you know that God is reliable, faith grows spontaneously”.
Earlier on, Wise Man Harry mounted the pulpit and delivered to the congregation and worldwide viewers of Emmanuel TV, a powerful and encouraging message titled, ‘Move The Mountain’ which was backed by proof text from Matthew 17:19-20. The message centered on the need for Christians to speak the Word of faith at all times and not to confess failure, saying one cannot think about one’s troubles and at the same time think about God’s Word.
He said, “When we confess sickness, fear, and failure and so on, we magnify the adversary above our Heavenly Father, thus destroying our own confidence in God’s Word. If your confession concerning your situation comes from faith, you would embrace victory; if based on sense-knowledge, you are bound to embrace defeat”.
“When your confession comes from faith, you have God’s hand performing all things for you, in you and through you. Only then, you will not consider the size of your problem; no matter how big, you will move the mountain,” he added.

FROM JOB SEEKER TO BIG TIME CONTRACTOR
Having been grounded by joblessness, stagnation, hardship and limitation in progress for four consecutive years, single mother Mrs Molly Musonza from Zimbabwe resorted to visiting The SCOAN to seek divine intervention. She was even struggling to keep her two children in the local schools. It was in the midst of her struggles with life that Mrs. Musonza visited The SCOAN where she received the Anointing Water. Having a strong desire to work in the petroleum industry in her home country, she returned home, responded to a job-related newspaper advertisement, and subsequently prepared her job application.
She ministered the Anointing Water and prayed to God to restore her. Interestingly, she received a phone call that would rewrite her financial history. She was invited to an interview for an occupation in the petroleum industry. When she arrived for the interview, she was too nervous to maintain her composure. She begged to visit the ladies, where she ministered the Anointing Water and prayed to God to turn any interview questions to her favour. She was overwhelmed for there were no questions that challenged her capacity to do the job.
God lifted her up beyond her expectations. The giant company offered her a big contract as distributor of fuel, chemicals and oils in Zimbabwe. In a subsequent development, Mrs Musonza is now proprietress of her own registered company, servicing her country with petroleum products. Now that she has had a financial breakthrough, she is able to send her children to good schools. Her daughter is now at a university abroad.

ANOINTING WATER CANCELS SURGICAL OPERATION
Mrs Doris Alozie, a midwife, responded to a devastating telephone call and breathlessly raced to the hospital only to find her mother in a critical condition. Reconciling with herself that she was on the verge of dying at any moment, her mother had begun saying her final words to her father and siblings. The monitors indicated that her mother’s oxygen circulation was only 27 percent, coupled with intestinal obstruction which developed into peritonitis. Gripped by fear, Mrs Alozie reached for the Anointing Water and ministered it on her mother, in the name of Jesus Christ. Shortly after that, she heard her mother shout, “Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me!” Her mother then asked for the bedpan and passed out a black substance, which nullified the need for an operation. Since then, she has been healthily eating well. Indeed, God had mercy on her mother and restored her back to life.

14 YEARS OF BARRENNESS BROKEN
Very often when she slept, a man would come and have an affair with her in her dreams and the side effect came in the form of barrenness. For fourteen years, Mrs Julian Moshi lived a frustrating married life, every time hoping for a baby that never came. Her loving husband was equally worried but still believed that God would perform a miracle in their life. One day, a friend gave her the Anointing Water which she and her husband ministered on themselves with faith, and then met as husband and wife. That was the end of the fourteen years of barrenness. The destructive spiritual husband was banished from their lives and Mrs Julian Moshi conceived to the chagrin of the devil. They are now the proud parents of a bouncing baby boy. To delay is not to deny. Praise God!

TEN YEAR VISA REJECTION CAGE SHATTERED
As if bound into a cage of visa rejections for a period of 10 years, Mr Olusola Olaolu would never get used to the frustration that followed each visa-request-turned-down. One day, a friend called to inform him about a job prospect abroad. He followed up and later received an invitation to travel abroad for work. Mr Olaolu carried the invitation letter along with his passport to apply for the visa at the embassy. Looking around, he saw other people with support documents for their applications but he only had the one letter at hand. Having brought with him the Anointing Water, he ministered it and put it into his pocket. During the interview with the visa assessor, he repeatedly hit his pocket where he had kept the Anointing Water inwardly praying that Jesus Christ would come to His need. To his great surprise, while many applicants were being turned down, he was told to come back the following week, which he did and he received his visa.

BREECHED BABY CORRECTED WITH PRAYER
Mr and Mrs Gilbert Akowanou happily looked forward to welcoming their new baby to join the family, but a scan revelation of a breech presentation reduced their enthusiasm as the clock ticked towards the operating theatre. The concerned couple rushed to The SCOAN to seek a divine intervention. Mrs Akowanou had the opportunity to be arranged at The SCOAN prayer line, where Prophet T.B. Joshua prayed for her. Following the prayer of the man of God, Mrs Gilbert Akowanou went back to the hospital for another scan. The results showed that her baby had turned and was now in the right position. To the glory of God, she delivered her baby safely, without an operation. Today, Mr and Mrs Gilbert Akowanou are the proud parents of a beautiful baby girl.
The Sunday service, broadcast live on Emmanuel TV to millions of viewers, closed on a high note with the mass prayer ministered by the wise men.

The man of God, Prophet T.B. Joshua, straight from a pastors’ conference in South Korea, on Sunday engaged the congregation with an inspiring and powerful teaching on faith. Referring to various scriptures in the Bible, he said people should not look at themselves as the basis for faith but at God because faith cannot be manufactured. Faith, he explained, grows naturally and spontaneously the more one knows God.

“Never ask yourself if you have faith. The more you ask yourself these questions, the less your faith. We are not talking of faith in faith or faith in yourself; we are talking of faith in God. You cannot manufacture faith. If faith would be in pastors or saints, faith would be weak and fragile,” he said, adding, “Faith is holding on to what God has promised. Whether your faith is great or small is not the issue. The issue is, if God has promised, will He lie or change? Your coming here shows you know God. And when you know God, faith will spontaneously grow. You are committing yourself and your things to Someone smarter, cleverer and more powerful – that is why you are here.”

Aided by the scriptures in John 14:25-27 and Romans 10:17, he said, “Faith comes out by hearing the Word of Christ. If my Father promised me something, I believe He will give me that thing. My belief is solid because I believe on the promise of my Father. If God’s Word is Spirit, it is capable of developing a spiritual force within our heart called faith. Ask God to give you the grace not to be ignorant of your faith under the tension and pressure of your sickness, disease, temptation, limitation.”

Earlier in the day, Wise Man Christopher preached a life-transforming message titled, ‘Positive Examples’ whose proof text was Matthew 5:17-20 and centred on the lifestyle of Jesus Christ as a worthy example who stood against evil not just by His Words but also by His deeds.

He explained, “Many have fallen because of being influenced by people who set a bad example. All of us have had a father, friend, mentor or coach but not all of us have had a father, friend, mentor or a coach we want to be like. This ought to motivate us to seek out a worthy example. Jesus Christ, the Son of the living God, is the worthy example. When we have a relationship with Jesus Christ, we will change and become men or women who are directed by the Holy Ghost, not by the influence of others. Only then, are we Christians.”

TESTIMONIES

ARMED ROBBERS FLEE IN FACE OF ANOINTING STICKER

This is no drama. It is a true manifestation of how no weapon fashioned against God’s children, shall prosper. On the fateful day, Mr Ikechukwu Muomalu who is based in South Africa had gone to the bank to withdraw a large sum of money. Mounted on a motorbike, he headed home. Little did he know that armed robbers were tailing him for the money. As he drove past a bustling market street, he was pulled over and ordered to hand over the cash. He hesitated when, suddenly, one of the robbers pulled out his gun, uncorked it, and pointed it at him. It was now a matter of life and death with only the money in his bag a deciding factor. Just then, before he could hand over his cash, he remembered something precious he was carrying in his pocket – the Anointing Sticker! Thrusting his hand in his pocket, he fished out the Anointing Sticker and flashed it at the armed robbers who looked astonished. But what was more astounding was that they wilted, retreated and sped off! No bullet was fired and no money snatched. The powerful hand of God, invisible to the human eye, had reigned.

Previously, Mr Muomalu used to be a target of armed robbers. His location was frequently attacked and he was not spared. He was also facing financial limitations to the extent that he could not take proper care of his family until he came to The SCOAN where he received the Anointing Water and Stickers. Gradually, his fortunes improved and his faith that God can use any medium to manifest His power, strengthened. Confronted with the armed robbers situation, he could think of no other amour but that of Jesus Christ through the Anointing Sticker.

He advised, “Whatever situation you are in, put your trust in God, and solution will come.”

DELAYED PROMOTION RELEASED

In spite of all his credentials, Mr Odekina Abimaje was frustrated by nine years of stagnation and career failure. He remained a lecturer at the same federal polytechnic without promotion and did not even have the opportunity to progress a PhD ambition. He recalled working hard like a horse but had nothing to show for it until he ran to The SCOAN. During his visit to The SCOAN, he was touched by one of the Wise Men and he did not fall as he had expected to be assured that he had been indeed delivered. Having collected the Anointing Water and Anointing Sticker, he returned home and placed the Anointing Sticker between his credentials. When he retired to bed, he had a dream of Prophet T.B. Joshua who picked and rubbed Mr. Abimaje’s credentials on his chest and then put them back on his desk and left. While pondering over the significance of the dream, Mr. Abimaje decided to visit his mother. While there, he came across one of his friends who casually asked him about his current job. After listening to Mr. Abimaje’s frustrating story, the friend did not only ask him to consider working at a state polytechnic but also collected the former’s credentials to hand in. Within a matter of days, Mr. Abimaje’s friend invited him to collect his appointment letter to lecture at the new polytechnic, where he would see his salary tripled. In a subsequent development, Mr. Abimaje went on to pursue his doctorate research.

“You need to know the value of what you have. This is the arena of liberty,” he advised.

DISAPPOINTMENT SURRENDERS TO APPOINTMENT

Mr Vincent Achinuke, living in the US, explained how he had worked in a company as supervisor for a number of years. One day, the upper management met him that two employees needed to go, so he should find something, anything against them. He told them that he did not want to have a hand in it. Immediately, they fired him and relieved him of his duties. Shortly after that, his two house tenants were relocated to different states due to their job demands, resulting in a sudden financial break down. He sat depressed on his couch and slept for a whole day when he awoke to Prophet T.B. Joshua praying on Emmanuel TV for viewers to claim their career. He quickly joined in and believed within him that his trouble had come to an end. Three days later, he received a call from the area manager of an oil company, saying that they had seen his profile online and asked if they could meet. Mr Vincent happily agreed and was given the position of operations manager. His salary now is double what he used to receive and he will spend half of his work time this year in Saudi Arabia and the rest in the US.

He said, “When you make Jesus Christ Lord and Saviour of your life and situation – He will see you through.”

AGENTS OF CHRONIC SCHIZOPHRENIA CAST OUT

For eight years, Mrs. Enobong Utin’s daughter, Miss Edidiong Utin, suffered from a chronic paranoid schizophrenic condition and had to live on cocktails of medications. The extent of the dosage she had to ingest compromised the state of her heart and consequentially reduced her mental alertness. Over the years that followed, Miss Edidiong Utin would also have learning difficulties. As if her condition did not wear her parents down enough in the United States, one day Miss Edidiong Utin took a knife and was about to stab herself in the kitchen when her brother walked into the scene to abort the attempt.

While she shuttled her daughter between medical facilities, Mrs Enobong Utin, a professional nurse, shared her plight with her Nigeria-based brother Dr. Essien, who recommended the Anointing Water as the only solution. Although skeptical about the brother’s recommendation, Mrs. Enobong Utin travelled to Nigeria and returned to the United States with the Anointing Water.

When Mrs Enobong Utin arrived at the ward, her daughter did not know her. Disheartened by this, Mrs. Enobong Utin seized a window of opportunity at her disposal and started to minister the Anointing Water on her daughter. To her utmost surprise, demonic spirits residing inside her daughter began to manifest and confess. The first voice said, “She will not graduate.”

“Who are you?” Mrs. Enobong Utin asked.

“I am an ancestral spirit,” said the demonic spirit.

“Who else is there?” Mrs. Enobong Utin continued to confront the demonic spirits, picking courage from what Emmanuel TV had taught her.

“I am queen of the coast,” said the spirit.

In the end a total of five demons manifested and were cast out as Mrs. Enobong Utin continued to minister the Anointing Water on her daughter’s body in the blood of Jesus. Miss Edidiong Utin rolled her eyes back and forth and her body returned to calmness. As she remained still and stared at her mother, Mrs. Enobong Utin heard her daughter say, “Mum, how are you?” To God be the glory, Miss Edidiong Utin was totally restored and freed from the agents of chronic schizophrenic condition.

Showing the related BEFORE and AFTER medical reports, a beaming Mrs. Enobong Utin said that “the Anointing Water” works.

MIRACLE BABY INDEED!

Mrs Nwaigwe was one month overdue and doctors said they would have to artificially induce her. Mr Victor Nwaigwe and his wife were not comfortable with that. They were informed by a friend about the Saturday healing Service at The SCOAN and they decided to come along but there was no service on that day. He got into conversation with a man who gave them the Anointing Water. He thanked the man but told him that he just needed a pastor or one of the evangelists to minister the Anointing Water to his wife. The man assured him that once he was at The SCOAN his troubles were over so he should just go ahead and minister the Anointing Water himself. He took the man’s advice, they took the Anointing Water, ministered it and went to eat at the canteen. As they finished eating she began to feel labour pains. He was shocked that the effect of the Anointing Water happened so soon. He quickly set about taking her to the hospital. Upon arrival she was checked and was ready for delivery. So she was taken to the delivery room and the baby began to come out but they saw the umbilical cord had wrapped itself around the baby’s neck. They quickly had to cut the cord which was successful and the baby was born safely despite great challenges on every side!

After going through such an experience Mr Nwaigwe said, “Forget what you think you know just come to Jesus – He is who he says He is – just believe.”

LOSS OF MANHOOD AND MENSTRUAL CYCLE BECAME HISTORY

After five years of uncertainty, wondering as to whether Mr Adeyemi’s manhood and Mrs Adeyemi’s menstrual cycle would ever respectively return to each of them, the Anointing Water became their only hope. Under the circumstance, the thought of ever achieving conception to bring a child into the world was akin to chasing a mirage. They made it to The SCOAN where they received the Anointing Water and ministered it to themselves in Jesus’ name. Lo and Behold! The miracle thing happened — Mr Adeyemi told his wife that his manhood had returned. Excited by the great news, Mrs Adeyemi experienced a change in her system at the instant. She beamed and told her husband that her menstruation had also started to flow. The excited family celebrated their joy, and later met as husband and wife. Mr. Adeyemi became pregnant, went through a safe delivery and now they have a healthy baby to share in their testimony. To God be the glory!

Palm Sunday is a day when Christians celebrate our Lord Jesus Christ’s triumphant entry into Jerusalem, the week before His death and resurrection. At The SCOAN, Sunday school children relived the experience with displays of a donkey rider and Easter songs. That aside, the thousands of worshippers who convened at The SCOAN from all corners of the world, witnessed the power of the Holy Spirit at work as the Lord loosed people from all kinds of yokes and burdens. The man of God, Prophet T.B. Joshua, ministered at the prayer line where many people were healed of their ailments and delivered of evil spirits. He also prophesied to individuals and nations. The prophet, in particular, addressed a message which was being spread around in Namibia and online media that an earthquake would strike that nation on Monday [April 14, 2014]. He replied, “The prophetess in Namibia may have dreamt but the translation is wrong. There is nothing like that. But it is an opportunity to live as if today is your last day on earth.” Prophet T.B. Joshua was compelled to speak out on the issue after being bombarded with emails seeking his confirmation of the said prophecy despite having not originated from him.
Earlier, Wise Man Harry delivered a thought-provoking message titled: ‘The Way of Obedience’ which challenged people to be spontaneous in responding to instructions of God regardless of conditions. He taught that, while in Matthew 21: 1-11 the disciples of Jesus Christ accepted to go to the village and bring a donkey together with its colt for Jesus to ride on into Jerusalem, the same conditions if given to followers of Christ today, might not be obeyed as Christians are only clever in hearing the message but not always in obeying.
“When your mind is taken up by worldly considerations, you cannot stand for Jesus or obey any of His instructions. The moment you want to follow Jesus’ instruction, your mind would start telling you ‘Don’t do it! They will arrest you!’ Every time you determine to do what is right, something else, something contrary crosses your mind. This is because the mind always resents things that are difficult to master. As a child of God, your mind must be disciplined to become your servant and not your master,” he said.

TESTIMONIES
The service was laced with wonderful testimonies from scores of people who had come to share what the Lord has done in their lives. Here are just a few of the testimonies:

WOMAN REAPS FROM PROPHECY OF AGRICULTURAL BOOM!
When Mrs Rose Uba retired from her life-long career in the education sector, she was not ready to sit on her laurels and count her days to her monthly pension collections. She wanted to be active and productive to take care of her voluminous responsibilities. Yet, she could not decide what really to venture into until God spoke. In 2012 she came to The SCOAN and heard a prophetic message that was to reshape her life. Prophet T.B. Joshua prophesied that people should go into agriculture and foodstuff businesses, saying that they would prosper. She claimed it. Not knowing how to enter into agriculture as she had no land, she prayed with the Anointing Water and felt God inspire her to begin fish farming, a business she had never practiced. She purchased GP tanks, put in the fingerings and sprayed them with the Anointing Water, in Jesus’ name. Her fishery business responded with a boom. The fish she produced were large and delicious. Customers descended on her fishery in droves and eventually encouraged her to open a restaurant alongside the fishery so that people could choose their fish and eat it there. Beaming with joy, Mrs Uba, former secretary to education in her municipality, proclaimed to the congregation she no longer lacks.
“Every day, I have money in my pocket. Whether they pay my pension or not, I am alright. God is providing for me,” she said. Advising people on the importance of honoring a prophet’s words, she said, “Anything that comes out from the mouth of the prophet, key into it. He is speaking from above. Take it seriously and don’t play with it. As for me, this is just a starting point. I know God is taking me higher and higher!”

ANOINTING WATER QUENCHES RAGING OIL INFERNO
Engineer Martins Idoko’s action of faith in anointing items from The SCOAN has become a subject of admiration in his entire community and all echo his belief that God can use any medium to manifest his power. The story of how Engineer Idoko used the Anointing Water to calm and quash flames of fire that could have become a huge catastrophe in the area, is widely told particularly among those in the oil sector. On March 5 this year [2014], someone came to his filling station in the night to collect petroleum products. He, however, told the driver to wait until morning. A few hours later that night, while at home, he received an emergency call that his petroleum station was on fire. Rushing down to the scene, he found the whole community gathered outside his filling station shouting and gesticulating helplessly. Other than break down to tears at the prospect of losing millions, he remembered that he had a weapon of God with him. Exercising his faith, he took out the Anointing Water and ministered it on the flames albeit from a distance, praying that there would be no losses, in Jesus’ name. The fire instantly ebbed and when the fire service arrived, it only finished the job. When he was finally able to enter his property, he discovered that a large fuel tanker, full of fuel, was parked adjacent to the burnt building. He was shocked, realising that if the truck had caught fire, the entire community might have burst into flames from the ensuing explosion. The Fire Services reported to him that they had never seen such a miracle in their time and, when they demanded to know how this had been made possible, he showed them his bottle of the Anointing Water. They agreed that this thing could indeed only be possible with God!

SOLDIER MARCHES BACK TO FULL FITNESS AFTER PRAYER!
What started off as routine escort duty for Corporal Sunday Agada, took a nasty turn when the vehicle he was travelling in crashed in a terrible accident. The young corporal escaped with his life but sustained a severe fracture to the tibia and fibula bones in his right leg. He was rushed to the hospital and after treatment was told that walking properly was out of the question and would have to use crutches for the rest of his life. This was truly a deadly blow to his physical condition and professional career. In desperation, he ran to a herbalist but when they demanded that he conduct a sacrifice, he escaped to The SCOAN, seeking the face of God. After prayer from one of the wise men, the crippling pain left him. He stood up and walked without the crutches – something that would have been impossible a few moments earlier. Proving his perfect healing, Corporal Agada, who came clad in his military gear, performed 10 perfect push-ups and demonstrated his military march in front of the congregation. Thank You, Jesus!

BABY CAME BACK TO LIFE THROUGH ANOINTING WATER
Many couples came to The SCOAN having problems such as barrenness, low sperm count, multiple fibroids and shared their wonderful testimonies with their babies. Among them were Mr and Mrs Joshua Yao Gomado, Mr & Mrs Ezekiel Green and Mr & Mrs Anwuli Malior who after the delivery of their dead baby, ministered the Anointing Water and their baby was miraculously resurrected! Smiling happily, the beautiful baby bounced on Mrs Malior’s knee as she gave glory to God for raising her child back to life.

DEAD BONES RISE AGAIN: MANHOOD RESTORED!
When Bishop Dr Paul walked to take his position before the congregation on Sunday, he had a spring in his footstep – something he had lacked for a very long period. The previous week, he had come to The SCOAN with his own mountain of sorrow. Prophet T.B. Joshua, prophesied to him that they wanted him to run from one woman to another and that this was the third woman. Bishop Paul was stunned at the exactness of the prophecy. During mass prayer the same day, Prophet T.B. Joshua prophesied that there was a man whose manhood was no longer working. He explained that this man had met with a fat woman who had been charmed by her husband and that since then, his manhood stopped working. Bishop Paul stood up and claimed the prophecy. He was prayed for and delivered.
Testifying before the congregation on Sunday, he said that he saw a fat woman in a dream wearing a wrapper and he made love to her. The next day, he physically saw the same woman he had seen in his dream. Just as it happened in the dream, so did it happen in the physical in the woman’s own matrimonial home. His manhood instantly died. Bearing testimony, the bishop’s wife told the church that indeed her husband’s manhood had not been functioning. Bishop Dr Paul explained that, during a shower soon after his deliverance, his manhood rose back to life. Glory be to God!

RESCUED FROM SPIRIT OF LUST, MASTURBATION
What started out of peer pressure for Mr Stevenson Simplice from the Caribbean Island – Saint Martin, grew to become a heavy chain of enslavement that tormented him despite his passion for Christ. Mr Simplice grew up in a broken home and witnessed sexual sins perpetrated by those he lived with when his father and mother separated. He lacked love and was a victim of humiliation and violence. All this took a huge toll on him and he considered himself unwanted. In his desperation to find acceptance and love, he ended up in bad company. He was introduced to masturbation and it developed into an addiction. Two years later, he decided to serve God but was still held by the clawing of masturbation. Even on the way to church, he would turn back home, find himself masturbating and start all over back to church. He later entered the music industry, singing and performing before big crowds and meeting presidents and prime ministers of different nations. Despite all this seeming success, he was still bound down to the spirits of lust and masturbation. He fasted and prayed but it did not work. One day, Mr Stevenson started searching on YouTube for a deliverance ministry when he discovered Emmanuel TV. He realised that there was enough available anointing at The SCOAN to deliver him. He later visited The SCOAN and received prayer from Prophet T.B. Joshua. He also received the Anointing Water. That night, he said, he slept well and woke up realising that his heart was free to love Jesus and the urge to masturbate was no longer disturbing him. Since then, he has never masturbated and his mind is free of guilt and looking forward to a new chapter of life in the service of God. Speaking to the viewers, he said, “We have to get connected to the Anointing of God and be delivered.” Praise God!

FRAUDSTERS CONFESS IMPERSONATING T.B. JOSHUA ON FACEBOOK
Evil begets evil and so it has come true for Mr Ndifreka, 25, and his younger brother Godwin, 24. When Mr Ndifreka finished secondary school and could not find a job, he succumbed to the devil’s deception when he created a counterfeit facebook account to the official SCOAN account using the man of God, Prophet T.B. Joshua’s name. Little did he know that everything that starts dubiously will surely end dubiously. Confessing his ill-conceived scheme before the congregation, he said the moment he created the accounts; he was bombarded with many people from around the world desperate to come to visit The SCOAN and some looking to get the Anointing Water at any cost. He placed different phone numbers with different email addresses on each of the fake accounts so that people would contact him.
He would also mimic the voice of one of the wise men in his dubious scheme to steal people’s money. Many people were ‘prayed’ for by Mr Ndifreka falsely thinking it was the man of God. In the end, they would be asked to pay money into his account. He said he used the money to meet with harlots. Mr Ndifreka lost all his money to another fraudster smarter than him who had promised to find him and his friend entry into the Police Academy. He was reported to the police by his friend who also lost his money to the fraudster and Mr Ndifreka was put in prison to be later bailed out by his brother who used all his money for his release. Not only that, he started to have nightmares of snakes chasing him and regularly saw the man of God warning him in his dream to stop. Meanwhile, he was hit by a serious case of asthma and decided to come to The SCOAN where he was prayed for at the prayer line and the evil spirit in him spoke out. He was eventually healed and delivered by one of the wise men at the same church he had abused.
Mr Ndifreka’s younger brother, who had learned the trick from him, also told his own story of how he created his own seven counterfeit accounts and duped people of huge sums of money. Like his brother, he lost all his money to pay for his brother’s release from police after he had been arrested for a related crime. They both came to The SCOAN to confess their wrong doing and ask for forgiveness. They both said they no longer wanted to defraud people and use the name of the man of God.
They advised, “Don’t be too desperate and you will not regret. There is only one official Facebook page for The SCOAN and Emmanuel TV. We have surrendered our lives to Jesus Christ. We want Him to forgive us.” They also warned other fraudsters using the name of Prophet T.B. Joshua to dupe people to stop immediately, repent, receive deliverance and give their life to Jesus. He also encouraged the youth to earn an honest living.

THIS IS THE FIRST TIME I AM SEEING MY DAUGHTER
When he visited The SCOAN a couple of weeks ago, Mr Elijah Chikwendu, a married father of four, was taken aback when Prophet T.B. Joshua prophesied to him regarding a controversy over a baby. He confirmed the prophecy, stating that he indeed impregnated a woman 14 years ago whom he had promised to marry. However, he abandoned her and the baby who was then two years-old and went to another country where he married another woman. On advice from the man of God, on Sunday, the woman and child came to The SCOAN and for the first time in 12 years, Mr Chikwendu saw his 14 year-old daughter.
“Now I am married, I want the covenant to be broken so this woman can be free,” he said.
The run-away father asked the man of God to help him beg his daughter and her mother to forgive him for his irresponsible action. Addressing him, Prophet T.B. Joshua said restitution was the way out and that he should take responsibility for the daughter and provide for the woman financially.

Easter celebrations, which started with Palm Sunday last week, culminated into a din of euphoria at The SCOAN on Sunday with visitors, who came from all over the world, worshipping God for the sacrificial Lamb, Jesus Christ. The day, which started with a message of hope and triumph from Wise Man Daniel, blossomed and burst into a frenzy of celebration with the church choir seamlessly blending their choruses with the day’s message. The man of God, Prophet T.B. Joshua, full with the anointing of the Holy Spirit, stepped to the altar and decreed calmness in people’s lives.

Citing Matthew 8:26, a Scripture depicting how Jesus Christ arose and rebuked the storm on the sea, Prophet T.B. Joshua faced the congregation and prophetically declared: “When we talk of the resurrection of our Lord and Saviour, we are talking of a new life, life anew, a new beginning in every area of your life. Be it your health, be it your finances, be it your business, be it your career, you are here to receive a new life. Let there be calmness!” The moving power of the Holy Spirit swept through the congregation, throwing many to the floor and forcing some to vomit out poisonous substances, signifying their rescue from the claws of the devil.

Apart from revealing hidden truths to individuals through prophecy, the man of God spoke to nations and prayed for the world to receive calmness in all sectors. He also ministered to people at the prayer line where God manifested the resurrection power of Jesus Christ by restoring people to what he had created them. Many were healed in the name of Jesus Christ and many more were delivered from contrary spirits.

During the Saturday prophetic service on the previous day, Prophet T.B. Joshua had given a message titled, ‘THE LIFE YOU ENJOY’ which dwelt on the importance of aligning our hearts and mouths with God’s Word. “What kind of life are you enjoying?” Prophet T.B. Joshua asked the congregation. “The words you speak determine the life you enjoy. That is, the words a man speaks create the blessings or curses that come his way. Your mouth is the revealer of the belief in your heart. Talk what you believe. This is the challenge we all have today.” He explained that one may profess Christianity with their mouths and yet not be such in heart. “If heart and mouth get in accord with God’s Word, the blessings of God’s Word begin to be tapped,” he emphasised.

On Sunday, Wise Man Daniel delivered a compelling message celebrating Easter titled: ‘THE MOST PRECIOUS COMMODITY’ which was a reflection of Jesus’ life and suffering for the purpose of ‘restoring man’s lost relationship with God.’ He said the wisest decision one can make in life as a Christian is to trust in Jesus Christ.

He said of Jesus, “He stands to be accepted or to be rejected. You can choose to be false to Him if you will or to be faithful to Him through good. The choice is yours. But this is the Gospel truth: Jesus Christ is the only way to peace and comfort while satan is the sure way to bitterness, pain and death. In other words, satan comes to kill, steal and destroy while Jesus Christ comes to give life and life in abundance, through the blood He shed on the cross of Calvary, which is the most precious commodity in the history of mankind”.

Citing various Scriptures such as Colossians 1:19-20, Revelations 5:12 and Matthew 23:37 which all resonate Jesus as being worthy of our faith, affection, devotion, time, money, possession and giving, Wise Man Daniel summed up: “Those who choose to serve the Lord in truth and in faith, those who have resolved in sincerity to make the Lord their keeper, refuge and shelter, shall be delivered from the malice of the powers of darkness. Whatever others say of God, He is our God, Healer, Deliverer, Comforter, Teacher, Counsellor, Intercessor, Friend in life, Redeemer and Partner. Whether He heals me or not, Jesus Christ is the Healer. Don’t change your confession every other day.”

TESTIMONIES
Again, the day was reminiscent of other Sundays at The SCOAN characterised by great testimonies from hundreds of people who had come to glorify God for what He has done in their lives. Below are a few:

BOMB BLAST SURVIVORS SEE HAND OF GOD
The attack was shocking. When it happened in Abuja that fateful day last week, the scene of the disaster was chaotic. The rescue team had to plough through the rubble of broken glass and mangled metal for any missing limbs. At least 76 people were reported dead on that day and over a hundred seriously injured. Mr Egbe Candidus from Benue State but residing in Abuja would have been one of them if it was not for the merciful hand of God. He and three other people came to separately testify of how God saved them from that fatal bomb blast.

He was travelling to the capital city in a vehicle with some people. When they reached a prominent place called Nyanya, the already noisy junction was shuttered with a big bang that rocked the area like an earthquake. Before he knew it, the car he was travelling in was tossed into the air like a baby’s toy, above human height. When it landed on the ground, he found himself standing outside on the road, completely unhurt. Around him, he saw scores of dead bodies lying on the ground. Human limbs were strewn everywhere. When he got up, he could not believe he was still alive. He felt his pockets and discovered and realized what had just happened, the Mighty hand of God had lifted him up and out of the car in a great manifestation of His wonders.

Before the journey earlier that morning, he had ministered the Anointing Water on himself as was his habit. Fortified, he had placed the bottle of the Anointing Water and the Anointing Sticker in his pocket and God who uses any medium to locate His people, met him at the point of his need. “God can use any medium to express Himself. He has rescued me from a fatal bomb blast through the Anointing Water and Sticker. I would have been a dead man by now,” he said.

On Saturday, during the prophetic live service, Evangelist Maria Ajekukor also testified of how God had wrapped her in His armour against the same bomb explosion. She was on her way to work that morning, when she suddenly realised that she had left the house without her Anointing Sticker. She quickly rushed back to get it, as she never went anywhere without it. When her bus came, she realised that she did not have the correct change required, so the bus continued without her. Little did she know that God was delaying her for a purpose. When she finally reached Nyanya, the spot of the attack, everyone was running helter-skelter. At a closer look, she discovered that the very first bus she was about to enter, was one of those hit by the explosion. She saw dead bodies scattered everywhere and limbs that had been torn off people’s bodies. She could not help but shed tears of gratitude as she narrated how God’s hand had held her back to save her from death. “Make sure you carry with you the Anointing Sticker and minister the Anointing Water all the time,” was her advice.

CHRONIC KIDNEY PROBLEM DEMOLISHED
Thirty-seven year-old Anthonia Edozie was staring death in the face. She had a chronic kidney problem which gave her excruciating pain. Each time the pain came, she would have difficulties walking and her body would swell. Her doctor, who said she was born with the problem, advised her to go to Egypt for an operation but she could not imagine herself going under the knife. She was determined to hang on and wait for a better way out. Unfortunately, the longer she hesitated on the operation, the worse her condition became. Her brother invited her to South Africa where he took her to hospital for a scan. The doctors were alarmed at the severity of her problem as her kidneys were failing. She was immediately booked for an operation. Still, she could not stomach the idea. She prayed to God to heal her and told Him that she would not go for the operation.

Her sister introduced her to Emmanuel TV where she saw a testimony of a man being healed through the medium of the Anointing Water. This lifted her faith. She sent her brother to collect a bottle of the Anointing Water, which she ministered in faith. Immediately, she said, the pain disappeared together with every symptom! She could do things she was not able to do before. Believing she was healed, she went back to the hospital where she had another scan. It showed that her kidney had returned to normal. Excited and relieved that the life-threatening disease had left her, she exercised herself before the congregation, demonstrating her perfect healing in Christ Jesus. She advised, “There is no problem bigger than our Lord Jesus. Trust in Him, believe in Him and He will meet you at the point of your need”.

FIBROIDS SURRENDER TO POWERS FROM ABOVE
Fibroids have fast become one of the most common afflictions tormenting women and, when Judith Kuzilwa from Tanzania discovered she had become victim, she was depressed. What started simple with internal heat surged into severe pain she could no longer bear. To her utter disbelief, doctors told her that she had not one but two fibroids. She went back home to digest the bad news. Two months later, she went back to the doctor for another scan and she was told the fibroids had doubled in size and that the only solution was to go for an operation. Thank God, she had seen many people delivered from the problem through the Anointing Water. She received hers from a close friend and ministered it in Jesus’ name. When she went back to the hospital for another test, the results confirmed that Jesus Christ is indeed the great Physician. She no longer had fibroids! She was healed from a problem that had tormented her for five years. Praise God!

ISSUE OF BLOOD NO LONGER AN ISSUE
It caused her great discomfort and pain. Her career was inadvertently teetering until one day when she encountered the Healer, Jesus Christ. Mrs Jawe, a motivational speaker and training consultant from Botswana, was a career woman happy to do what she knew best, travelling around the country and helping people to reach their potential. As satan would have it his wicked way, Mrs Jawe found herself inflicted with a bleeding problem. She profusely bled for three and a half months, seriously affecting her job. Doctors could not establish the cause and even took her through a pregnancy test in a desperate hunt for the cause. She could not stand for a long time and easily got tired. The problem persisted. Her husband, who testified to having been affected by his ‘beautiful’ wife’s problem, decided to come along with her to The SCOAN where they received the Anointing Water. When they got to their hotel room, they ministered it and before they knew it, the bleeding had stopped. The husband described the problem as having affected them greatly.

“You have a beautiful woman like mine and there is this problem of bleeding, you know what it means,” he said to the amusement of the congregation. Thank God, today, Mrs Jawe is completely free and freely going about her daily work and enjoying her married life, courtesy of the resurrection power of Jesus Christ through the medium of the Anointing Water.

HEAVILY PREGNANT, AFTER HEAVENLY TOUCH!
Mr and Mrs Abu John had been married for four years and looking for ‘fruit of the womb’ which, unfortunately, did not come. They visited many medical specialists but there was no solution. They felt bad because their colleagues of the same age had up to two children and yet, they had nothing to show for those barren years. They decided to come to The SCOAN last year. They prayed and received the Anointing Water which they ministered, in the name of Jesus Christ. Mrs John then had a dream in which the man of God, Prophet T.B. Joshua, prayed and delivered her from a spiritual husband. When she met with her husband, the impossible became possible. God touched her and she became pregnant! Mrs John advised people to have faith in God and they would receive fruitfulness in His appointed time.

GOD HAS TRULY REBUILT ME
Mr Obi Inoma, an architect consultant, came to The SCOAN due to a string of setbacks in his career that had thrown him into bondage. Things became very difficult due to some bad choices he had made and he could no longer meet family obligations. He had several children in expensive universities and faced difficulties paying their school fees. Running out of rope, he ran to The SCOAN. Prophet T.B. Joshua gave him hope and encouragement. He also gave him the Anointing Water. Meanwhile, there was one project he was aspiring to manage as a consultant but each time he submitted his papers, he would be turned down for no apparent reason. After ministering the Anointing Water, the company reversed their initial decision and readily accepted his application. His company was appointed as a consulting firm, overseeing a new housing estate which involves managing 109 housing units. He was also assigned other projects within the system to manage. They gave him accommodation to stay in the estate and a car to use for the project. He is now able to pay for his children’s university fees after receiving a huge breakthrough following his release from bondage. He advised: “We must not joke with anything that comes from the prophet.”

WRITE IT DOWN – YOU ARE CROSSING THE BRIDGE
When Mr John Njuma Libwea decided to further his education in Europe, he found himself confronted not only with a language barrier but also a financial mountain that almost obliterated his dream. A Bachelor of Science graduate of a University in Cameroon, he had worked for about four to five years before he received a certificate in pharmacy and later decided to enhance his studies. His applications to schools in the UK and Finland did not go unnoticed but he resolved to further his research in HIV/AIDS which was incidentally being offered in Finland.

When he arrived in Finland, he was faced with a different culture and could not speak the language of the land. He was among twelve out of 240 applicants who were selected for the programme; only two were from Africa of which he was one. He graduated with distinction and was offered a four year residence permit to stay in Finland. He was studying for his PhD and due to his financial challenge, he accepted to work for the university as a cleaner. He was in desperate need for substantial money which he could not make out of cleaning services.

He had been watching Emmanuel TV but not with belief. One day, he reached a turning point. He heard the man of God, Prophet T.B. Joshua say, “Write it down – There is a crossover, you are crossing the bridge”. He claimed the prophetic prayer and to his delight, he was recruited as a research officer at the Finnish Health and Welfare Office in Finland. He was told he would work 100 hours a month and receive a salary. Amazingly, they told him he didn’t need to come to the office but rather, should stay at home and work on his project. His wife who had joined him in the country, was also miraculously given a permit which entitled her to full benefits as a Finnish citizen! Praise God!

The Easter Sunday service closed with mass prayer ministered by the Wise Men during which many more spiritual chains were broken and a new breeze of calmness breathed into people’s lives, in Jesus’ name!

     Last Sunday witnessed another awesome service hoisted on a powerful and enlightening message from the man of God, Prophet T.B. Joshua. Inspired by the case of a young lady from South Africa, whom God had rescued from a killer disease known as lupus through prayer at the church’s prayer line last year, the man of God said anyone whom Jesus heals, it is for the purpose of living for Him.

Said the man of God, “You are not healed because you are sick, your family has spent so much on you or you are a pastor so you can minister to people. You are not healed because you pay huge tithes or you are an archbishop, or you have built a cathedral or because you have spent so much. The only reason for that healing is for you to live for Jesus. If you are not ready to live for Him, forget about the miracle. Healing is for just one purpose; by His stripes we are healed for the salvation of our soul.”

The man of God then ministered to thousands of worshippers who had come from all walks of life seeking an encounter with God. He prophesied to individuals and nations and also prayed for the sick in the mighty name of Jesus Christ upon which people were set free from sicknesses and evil spirits.

Earlier on, Wise Man Racine preached on the message: TAKE HOLD OF GOD’S PROMISES which centred on the need for putting trust in God and exercising an attitude of absolute faith.

“Your belief needs to be reset according to the truth in God’s Word. Your affection and emotions must be set to take the Word without questioning or X-raying it because faith is something that comes spontaneously – willingly. Faith is not abstract; faith can be practiced. A man can only have and exercise what he believes he has. Is God’s Word true for your life? Do you believe in God’s promises for your life? Then take hold of God’s promises,” he said, citing Abraham as a great example of a man of faith.

A TOTAL TURNAROUND

Abject poverty is too mild a term to describe the condition Mr and Mrs Tony Egberi found themselves in. Instead of enjoying a marital life of bliss as they had hoped for, their fortunes took a dramatic turnaround for the worse soon after they had tied the knot. Mr Tony had a Masters degree in Public Administration but could not find a job for the life of him. His wife, a qualified nurse, lost her job. Their circumstances became so dismal that it was his sister-in-law who was supporting the entire household, including the children’s feeding and school fees. Mr Egberi, running out of options, moved to Abuja, where he ended up sleeping in a friend’s furniture shop, almost like a guard. The foam used to cover the furniture items became his mattress and pillow. Acknowledging that the state of his affairs was abnormal, he resolved to seek for deliverance from Someone powerful, wiser and smarter than him – Jesus Christ. He came in faith to The SCOAN, received prayer from Prophet T.B. Joshua and immediately claimed the blessing that would follow.

A very short while after his return, he received an unusual call from his auntie asking for his resume. She promptly applied for a lecturing job for him. The next thing he knew was that he was being called for an interview and then given an appointment letter. He is now an Assistant Lecturer in the Political Science Department at one of the prestigious universities in Nigeria. Mrs Egberi at the same time was called for a job as a state nurse at a hospital in Cross River State. To add to the mighty blessings, their ten-year old daughter, Confidence who had been bedwetting since birth, prayed with Prophet T.B. Joshua on Emmanuel TV and her bedwetting ceased from that moment. Their case which had turned around for worse had now turned around for the better because of Christ. Their advice was: Look unto the Lord and He will meet you at the appointed time.

LOOK, I NOW DRIVE A MERC!!   

Mr Jamiu Famosa came to The SCOAN driving a sleek Mercedes Benz and waving keys in his hands. He has become one of the happiest in town. What he could not have in ages, God has given him within a twinkle of an eye. The car is a miracle a person in his former situation could never dream of. He had been moving around on public transport. He had no car of his own and had no expectation he would ever own one until he received the Anointing Sticker for a car from the man of God, Prophet T.B. Joshua. On reaching home, he decided to exercise his faith. He prayed for God to give him a car although he did not have any money in the house or the bank. The following day, he visited a car dealer who encouraged him to buy the Mercedes Benz but little did he know that his client did not have any money.  He prayed again with the Anointing Sticker and told himself that the Sticker would surely find its way on to his car. Out of nowhere, sometime after the prayer, he received a call from an old friend who owed him a huge amount of money and for three years had been giving excuses. He was stunned. This couldn’t just be happening if not by God’s power. When he collected the money the following day, he walked straight to the car dealer and came back driving.

Waving his car keys and displaying his car ownership documents to the congregation, he advised people to have faith in God.

RENAL FAILURE RECTIFIED

What could make a young man stay indoors 24 hours? Definitely ill-health. Mr. Rufus Abiola found himself victim of a dilapidating sickness that was slowly walking him to his death. One may not appreciate the value of a kidney until it fails. Chronic renal failure left him not able to urinate, eat or do anything without pain. His whole body became swollen and tender. The only time he would leave his room was when he was taken to hospitals or herbal homes in desperate search for a remedy. The doctors told him that there was no cure for his condition. He became devastated, his hopes of survival ebbing away by the day. It was in this helpless state that he was carried to The SCOAN where he received prayer from one of the wise men. Describing the sensation after prayer, Rufus said, “I immediately felt light and cool”.

The next day, he started urinating normally and his appetite returned. Becoming stronger by the day, he decided to go back to the hospital for another test. To his joy, his urea level which had been dangerously high had returned to normal. He is now free to pursue his career and enjoy his existence, without pain or hindrance. His advice was to hold on tight to Jesus Christ, the only One that can heal.

RESCUED FROM IDIGUN TERROR

Born in an idol worshipping family, Ms Esther Otumunye from Lagos, Nigeria, lived and slept in the same room with a very evil family idol. It never occurred to her that the iron object her father called god, would one day be the architect of shame, hatred and failure in her life.    The father, an army officer, brought the idol from the village after he had been struck with madness. The idea was that the idol would bring healing and protect the whole house although it immediately turned the father into a drunkard and an embarrassment to the community in the barracks where he was staying. They called it Idigun, the god of iron. The father, an army officer, built a small shrine for the idol in her room by her bedside being his first daughter whom he loved. Whenever he wanted to make incantations, he would ask her and her siblings to leave. He would then close the door and call out her name, telling the idol to take care of her. He would kill a fowl and use its blood as sacrifice. Away in the dining room, the children would hear different voices yet it was only the father who was in the room, pictures would be falling from the wall and curtains blowing in the air.  Afterwards they would be told to prepare the fowl and eat it.

“My father would call out my name that I should be the one to eat the head of the fowl,” she said.

The effects of the idol became apparent while she was writing her examinations. He father took a pen from the shrine and gave it to her to use during the exam. She failed all the papers, a thing that surprised even her teacher because she had been a brilliant student. It was while in the university that the demon started to manifest physically. She would hear footsteps when she walked on the road. She would also hear a voice calling her name. When in her room, she would feel someone touch her. In her dreams, she would see herself in water in the marine kingdom where, one time they organized a feast for her.  The idol cost her many friends who accused her of being the cause of their misfortunes. They said she had bad luck. It also destroyed her career. Seven years after graduating, she had no job. On those very rare occasions where she would get a job, it would not last six months. She also used to have serious migraines. A voice would tell her to remove her clothes and walk out. Every two months she would be admitted for typhoid.

She decided to come to The SCOAN and on that spectacular day of her remarkable deliverance, as one of the wise men approached her, she panicked. The evil spirit inside of her started to grumble angrily and ordered her to bolt when the wise man stretched his hand over her. The demon was arrested. Later, she fell to the ground during which she saw two men – a giant draped in black who was very aggressive and a calm man who glittered and was shining. She could not see his face as it was too bright to behold. A conversation was going on between the two. The giant man angrily taunted, “You can’t take her from me! She is mine!” The man in white responded calmly, “She is the reason why I died on the cross.” At the end, the giant man vanished and the glittering man picked her up. Then she saw herself at The SCOAN with the wise man standing in front of her, announcing to her that Jesus had set her free.

She testified that, after her deliverance, she has peace which she never experienced. She does not experience the nightmares any more. She is healthy in her body and her mind. When she looks at herself in the mirror, she sees a big change. Before, she would sometimes see the face of an old woman when she looked at herself. She sleeps well and wakes up with a song of praise on her lips. Glory be to God!

KILLER LUPUS SURRENDERS IN JESUS’ NAME

She was lying on her deathbed, inches away from her grave. Neither dialysis, chemotherapy nor daily injections could guarantee her another day of life. Miss Naomi Umeala, from South Africa, was staring death in the face and when she called her mother to her bedside and handed over her life policy documents that dreadful day, it was evident she was giving up. The doctors had already told her the first time they got to know of the term lupus in 2010 that the disease had no cure. Before then, she had been going through life as a young lady full of energy and hopes for the future; it was on the day of her diagnosis that a bleak and grey picture loomed before her.

Lupus is a disease that slowly eats away at the internal organs. Instead of the antibodies to fight the infections, the body begins to fight and destroy itself. In the case of Naomi, the lupus was developing fast. She began bleeding internally and her kidneys reached the point of failure. She was dependent on medication, having to take 29 tablets a day and two injections, costing her parents a huge amount per month. If for any reason, her parents were unable to afford it, she would be admitted to the hospital forthwith as an emergency case. Her mother was advised to gather her life policy documents and prepare for her funeral. She submitted her documents to her mum, tearfully advising her on who to invite to her funeral.

Her condition reached a climax when she was in hospital while her family was in Nigeria. In the night, she had a panic attack and found herself unable to breathe. She was rushed to another hospital and placed in the ICU. She was then placed on life support and was using a catheter. Her stomach became so swollen due to the kidney failure that she looked as if she was eight months pregnant. She was placed on chemotherapy.

A good Samaritan brought the family an Anointing Sticker and introduced them to Emmanuel TV. When Naomi watched and saw others in worse condition than her being healed on Emmanuel TV, her faith was rekindled. She determined to come to The SCOAN to receive her healing, in Jesus’ name. November 3^rd 2013 was the day to be marked down in history for Naomi. She was placed on the prayer line and the man of God, Prophet T.B. Joshua, prayed for her, in Jesus’ name by simply standing at a distance and stretching his hand in prayer. She fell to the ground under the powerful anointing of the Holy Spirit. With her, fell the deadly sickness, never to rise again.

Testifying in church, she declared to all that she was now free from lupus. Her mother said after her healing at The SCOAN, she went to hospital where doctors were shocked to discover that the killer disease had indeed disappeared. Miss Umeala, who was accompanied by her family, thanked God for her miraculous healing and advised people to always hold onto God. Since the day she received prayer, she has not been taking any tablet or injection.

Last Sunday service was an exceptionally Holy Spirit-powered occasion that shimmered with the glory of God. From the bountiful rhythms of wonders and miracles to powerful prophetic messages, the power-packed exaltation of the Almighty God was electrifying. The prayer line saw the lining up of people from all over the world, seeking God’s intervention in their lives. The man of God, Prophet T.B. Joshua, laid hands on them in the name of Jesus Christ. Healed of their diseases and liberated from evil spirits that tormented their souls, they waved to God and thanked Him for His enduring mercy and love. To crown the service, Prophet T.B. Joshua ministered mass prayer and prophesied to nations, offering words of peace, hope and love.

Earlier, Wise Man Christopher stepped onto the altar and preached an edifying message titled, “MAKE THE GREATEST SACRIFICE”, which centered on the greatest virtue of a true Christian – love. “Before you can call the name Jesus Christ and expect Him to answer you, please, look around you to see those who are in need of your love. We have fasted, prayed and hoped but the thing that is yet to be applied is love – first to God and then to our fellow human beings,” he said.

Quoting John 21:15-17, he said that by repeating the question ‘Do you love me?’ Jesus wanted the concept of love to be crystal clear; that love is central – the only genuine principle from which the service of God can spring.

Expanding this frontier further he explained: “Jesus did not ask Peter if he was a gifted speaker, a talented leader or lawyer. He did not enquire about Peter’s seminary training or if he had a thorough theological knowledge of the Bible. All these are important but they are not the issue. The essential quality is found in Jesus’ question – do you love Me? Jesus says, ‘If you love Me keep My commandments’. That is to say ‘before you can say you love Me, please, look around you to see and help those who are in need of help or care.’ Jesus is asking you: ‘have you done that? If you have not done that and you want to be My friend, you cannot because you cannot have a relationship with Me without love. I cannot entrust this kind of power to heal, deliver, prophesy, bless and save to you without love because you will use it to hurt yourself and others.’”

Following are some of the testimonies picked from hundreds of people who came to glorify God for His goodness in their lives:

GOD OPERATED ON ME IN HIS OWN THEATRE

Unable to urinate due to protracted chronic illness of prostate enlargement, Mr Gershon Kwame Nutsugah from Ghana was living with a catheter fitted to his bladder which he had to change every week in order to avoid infection that could worsen his problem. But this medical hope of relief soon became a problem when it became stuck in his bladder, thus making it impossible for the regular changing it required. The doctors became alarmed, fearing a possible infection if the catheter was not frequently changed. The only way out of the predicament, they advised, was a surgery but Mr Nutsugah was not very comfortable with the suggestion. A week to the surgery, his son encouraged him to come to The SCOAN which he did. On Sunday after the service, he noticed some blood in his urine and thought that the infection might have started, not knowing that God was busy at work. On his bed, that night, he woke up to see his catheter shaking and moving out of his body. It stopped midway and he called his wife and son to look. They ministered the Anointing Water and turned on Emmanuel TV for him to pray with the man of God. The more he prayed with Emmanuel TV, the more the catheter moved. Then, something pushed him to stand up and the catheter fell out. Immediately, he went to the toilet and urinated by himself, a thing he could not do previously. The following morning, his daughter called him to explain how she had seen him in the theatre being operated on, not by a doctor but by God. Since then, Mr Nutsugah has been urinating freely, healthily and soundly.

DIPLOMAT’S THANKS JESUS FOR ESCAPING DEATH

A diplomat from Liberia, Mr John Jallah was on his way to work in May 2013 when he had an accident. A car speeding from the opposite direction hit his official vehicle, damaging it. The impact was so huge that people feared for his life. Surprisingly, although the car had been damaged, the place where he was sitting was intact and nothing happened to him. He stepped out alive and safe. When the medics came to take him to hospital, he refused and told people that God was in control. His faith was not without reason. Before leaving home that morning he had ministered the Anointing Water. His car also had five Anointing Stickers on them. As is his normal practice, he had two bottles of the Anointing Water carefully kept in his car. As he stepped out of the damaged car on his own limbs and without being helped, he could not help but marvel at the mighty power of Jesus Christ. If it was not for God working through the Anointing Water and Anointing Stickers, said diplomat Jallah, he would not be alive today.

“Trust in God always,” he said.

TUBERCULOSIS TERMINATED

Mr Pullah Dinini awoke again in a cold sweat. Fever ravaged his system. His life was slowly ebbing away. Diagnosed with the terminal disease of tuberculosis, the young man was losing weight at an alarming rate. Having been reduced to a mere skeletal figure; merely moving his afflicted limbs had become a burden too much for him to bear. It was in this critical condition that Mr Pullah’s sister brought the Anointing Water from The SCOAN and ministered it to him. That signaled the beginning of his miraculous recovery. As he continued to minister the Anointing Water, supernatural strength continued flowing through his system, restoring all that satan had stolen through the deadly disease.

And when he eventually made his way to The SCOAN and encountered direct prayer from Prophet T.B. Joshua, Mr Dinini knew it was time for him to return to the hospital that had initially diagnosed him with tuberculosis for another check up. To the astonishment of the hospital staff, results showed that there was no more trace of the disease in his system. There was a dramatic change in his appearance. “Let us worship the Man who made the universe,” Dinini concluded, stating that with his healing, he will never run from God.

FROM MULTIPLE FIBROIDS TO MULTIPLE MIRACLES

An operation appeared to be the only way out for Mr and Mrs Esther Eniola. Desperate for a child, the diagnosis of multiple fibroids left the young couple with seemingly no other option. However, fear of the scalpel pushed Esther away from hospital and into unconventional pursuits of fruitfulness. 15 years later, after various visits to spiritualists and herbal homes, the situation had only deteriorated. With her stomach swollen due to the weight of the fibrous masses occupying her system and her menstruation irregular and accompanied by intense pain, sorrow marred any form of marital bliss.

However, when a sister visited them in their base in Northern Nigeria, she brought an unusual gift: the Anointing Water from Prophet T.B. Joshua. Having viewed Emmanuel TV and seen testimonies, the couple grabbed the opportunity and ministered the Anointing Water together. As the Anointing Water flowed through her stomach, it was accompanied by a strange sensation within. The following day, her menstrual flow was abnormally thick and oozing with blackish substances. God was at work! As swelling steadily reduced, faith rapidly increased. Returning to the same hospital that had initially diagnosed her for another checkup, the results were indeed remarkable. There was no trace of multiple fibroids or ovarian cysts anymore!

FLIES OF STAGNATION CRASHED

Miss Kanoere Ekios suffered setback and limitation in progress and continued to reel from one problem to another for ten painful years of shame and pain. Last year, she lost her younger sister which was a painful experience but that led her to watch Emmanuel TV. She was astonished that there was a great man of God like Prophet TB Joshua in the nation. She came to The SCOAN and received the Anointing Water which she ministered in her apartment at home and prayed with in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. When she woke up, to her utter shock and disbelief, she saw a swarm of dead flies that filled the room. Normally, there were no flies in or around her house. The agents of darkness that had been infesting her life with setbacks were arrested. This strengthened her faith that God would continue to work in her situation. She began to receive mercy and favour from all directions and now has a brand new jeep as a gift and has finished building an uncompleted building which she has been working on from seven years. Praise God!

FROM A LAY-OFF TO A TRIPLE SALARY

Miss Rachel Kiishi’s job was on the line. Government was privatizing the energy sector and one of the companies listed for the exercise was where she was working. The new owners, who included a firm from Turkey, wanted to downsize the workforce by administering an aptitude test. Rachel had often encountered a problem with understanding what she had studied. In preparation for the “must-pass test”, she found it difficult to read and assimilate. She always feared being chopped off the payroll. Thank God, she had the opportunity to get the Anointing Water and her faith was encouraged after reading the Anointing Water booklet. She ministered to herself, prayed and slept. When she woke up the next day which was the examination day, she felt calmness had displaced her anxiety. She sat for a written test and was also tested orally and the examiners were all impressed with her performance. She was retained and assigned to work at the company’s headquarters. Not long after that, she received a promotion letter tripling her salary and moving her to a higher level. Glowing with joy, she said, ‘It is not my qualification but the glory of God made it happen’.

BABY FROM WRONG SOURCE

When Mrs Augustina Chinwuke Itoto’s mother stayed for 25 years without fruit of the womb, she was distraught. She desperately needed a baby. A well-to-do business woman but a non-Christian, the only place she knew as source for solution was spiritualists’ dens. Many things were introduced to her, all of them diabolical. One of the spiritualists told her to buy items for sacrifice and go and sleep by the river bank for two days if she was to have a baby. Without an option, she accepted to go through the ordeal. She eventually fell pregnant and gave birth to baby Augustina. However, instead of joy, she harvested sorrow. Things turned upside down. Her business collapsed and had difficulties even feeding the newborn. To restore her wealth she kept visiting many other places but her situation was deteriorating with every shrine she visited.

Meanwhile, the daughter was having her own nightmares. She would dream of swimming in rivers with mermaids and being married to a marine spirit. She would see half-human and half-fish beings drag her into the depths of waters. Down in the belly of the ocean, she would see a city replete with elegant buildings – satan’s make-believe in his sloppy imitation of God’s great and unequaled creation. One woman in the water told her that she was her real mother; that she was the one who gave her to her mother as a baby. She was 15 years old then. Forced into an early marriage, she continued to suffer. She married a man she did not love. He would beat her up for no apparent reason. Often, she would toy with the idea of committing suicide by setting fire on her home. The marriage did not last and now she has another relationship. But things had not improved and the evil spirit was now affecting her current husband’s business. They decided to come to The SCOAN in search of a genuine and lasting solution from the Author of life – God. Her mother had relied on unreliable powers; she decided to put her faith in God.

That blessed day at The SCOAN, as Wise Man Racine ministered prayer to the congregation in Jesus’ name, the power of the Holy Spirit located her. The evil spirit inside of her manifested as queen of the coast. It confessed responsibility for her problems. As the wise man raised his hand in a great manifestation of God’s power, the demon was cast out and Mrs Itoto was declared free, in Jesus’ name. Since then, she has not had any nightmares or seen herself swimming and feasting with mermaids. She dreams of praying and singing to God. She is at peace and advises that for others to have peace, they must embrace Jesus Christ.

SICKLE CELL CONDITION REVERSED

Affliction brought the Onuegbu family to The SCOAN. The only son of the family was diagnosed to have sickle cell anaemia during his infancy. Last year, the problems the child suffered were so much that for a whole week, he was crying, unable to sit, stand or lie down without pain and had to be carried on his father’s back. The doctors prescribed all manner of injections for the boy on a daily basis with little or no improvement. They decided to come to The SCOAN prayer line and the man of God, Prophet T.B. Joshua, prayed for him in the name of Jesus Christ. The day after he was supposed to go to school, his father said he should accompany him to the hospital for another test. When handed the result envelope, he tentatively took time to open it and found the test result AA! Typically, sickle cell patients’ genotypes are SS but he had a moment of doubt that the doctors might have mixed up their test results with someone else’s. So, he took his son to another hospital once again and it came out AA yet again to the glory of God. Engr Chris Onuegbu encouraged viewers that there was never a sickness Jesus Christ cannot cure.

THE LAST SHOP STANDING!

Mr. Basil Chukwujekwu, popularly known as BBC, is a business man in Cameroon. Some time ago, he came to The SCOAN and was encouraged to get the Anointing Water. He went back to his post and as a business man, owning a massive store in the public market; he would always minister it in his store. A year later, a fire explosion took place in the market and over 150 shops were gutted down, destroying the properties. When this incident was taking place and the fire was raging rapidly towards his shop, he remembered he had an empty bottle of the Anointing Water which he had previously filled with ordinary water. Faced with an incident that would devastate everything he had worked hard for, he grabbed it and sprayed the Anointing Water on his property, asking God to take control. As tongues of fire roared uncontrollably, he left the scene unable to bear the sight of seeing his shop destroyed. Surprisingly, while he was still brooding over his shop and what must have happened to his property, someone frantically called and told him that his shop had survived the inferno. When he returned to the scene, he stared in awe at how the fire had gutted down every shop around him except his which was left untouched. God had saved his shop.

“It was too much to believe but there it was, safe and untouched. Thank You, Jesus!” he shouted to a chorus of Amen from the congregation.

I INFECTED THOUSANDS OF MEN WITH HIV

Brought up in Tanzania, Miss Francis was a very stubborn child when growing up and hated going to school. Aged 13, she began to see a man sleeping with her in the dream. Waking up from these nightmares, even at that tender age, lustful desires saturated her heart. Upon meeting a group of girls who always had money, the latest technological gadgets and possessions, she was curious to know the source of their worldly riches. One day they let her in on the dark secret; they were doing prostitution. Enamored by the perks of the lifestyle, she abandoned her family, left school, ran to the city and joined the ungodly trade at the age of 14. When she got pregnant the first time at the age of 16, she returned home and abandoned the child with her mother and returned to prostitution until her sister who was staying in Namibia came and rescued her.

However, although her physical location changed, the spirit of lust seemed only to worsen. Within three months of her stay in Namibia, she was kicked out of the house because of her stubborn and rebellious behavior, throwing her back into the life of prostitution with another gang of birds of same feathers right there in Namibia. Sleeping with more than five men every day, she eventually fell pregnant a second time. When she went to hospital to discover that she was pregnant, she also found out that she was HIV/AIDS positive. Anger and bitterness welled up in her heart. Resolving to take vengeance on men, she continued to prostitute, intentionally inflicting countless men with the deadly virus. She said there were thousands that she had slept with while having HIV because her healthy appearance and regular intake of drugs gave no room for people to suspect she was so sick.

Her journey to Nigeria came as a result of becoming pregnant for a Nigerian man she met on an online dating site. After hearing that she was HIV Positive, the man resolved to send her to drop their baby with his parents in Enugu State, Nigeria. Having heard of Emmanuel TV at this point, Francis agreed, resolving to visit The SCOAN after dropping off her baby. Last week, when she came to The SCOAN, when Wise Man Christopher prayed for her, she received deliverance from the evil spirit that pushed her to such a horrific lifestyle. She said that she no longer experienced the negative dreams and spiritual attacks she used to have. Furthermore, she added that she feels so much remorse for the victims she had afflicted with the deadly disease in her former life. Believing that she is healed, she warned that the result of prostitution is nothing but bitterness. She advised youths to be patient for God’s plan in their lives, concluding that they should stay away from bad friends.

It was a day of devotion fully packed with healings, deliverances, prophecies and powerful messages. This was the prevailing atmosphere that radiated The SCOAN last Sunday with the admonition for worshippers and viewers all over the world to always love one another irrespective of their faith differences. The admonition by the man of God, Prophet T.B. Joshua just before the closing mass prayer was not without reason. The congregation had just witnessed a powerful deliverance of a man who manifested and later was confirmed to having been a Boko Haram member and involved in many evil operations. The astounding deliverance came less than one month after a similar incident. Addressing the issue, the man of God who had made an impromptu return to the altar, dwelled on the Gospel of Jesus Christ, the Gospel of love.

He explained, “One thing you must know – we are fighting evil spirits that steal, kill and destroy. Let us not fight our neighbors. We live together and work together. It is evil spirits we are fighting; let us not fight our neighbors. No one can bomb people or kill innocent lives without being under the influence of evil spirits. It’s not possible for your neighbor to do that; it takes an evil spirit to do so.”

Prophet T.B. Joshua had, earlier on, preached on the need for Christians to acknowledge God’s ability and thank Him even before they have received. He said the problem with people today is that they wait to receive before they can thank God. This, said the man of God, is wrong, noting that: “If you know that your God can do all things, why are you waiting for Him to do it before thanking Him? You must believe it is done before you ask.” He then ministered deliverance, prophecy and healing to people who had come to the arena of liberty from all over the world.

Mounting the pulpit earlier in the day, Wise Man Harry preached an inspiring message titled: Our Response As A Christian, which spoke to the hearts of Christians against rejoicing over one another’s tragedies in life. Quoting Galatians 6:1 and 1 Corinthians 10:12, he said: “When someone falls, don’t rejoice! Restore them. If you reject one on account of his or her weakness, you also reject his strength. This means, if you know your friend’s weakness, help him instead of rejecting him because a person who is a thorn in your flesh today, may be the one to help you tomorrow. Don’t reject anyone on account of their weakness today because tomorrow is a mystery.”

DOCTOR RECEIVES HEAVENLY CURE

Dr Nwankpa Nick, a medical doctor, was at the point of losing his lucrative career back home in Ethiopia. He had an abnormal sugar level which soared so high making him to experience all symptoms of a sick person. Because of this, he was always weak and tired. Despite being prescribed drugs by one of the best hospitals in the country, he could not live a normal and productive life. Soon after taking his drugs, he would have spasm attacks and every time he went for sugar tests, nothing would improve. Instead, his condition would deteriorate.

“As a doctor, one thing is to know about a disease, another is to actually feel it,” he said.

It became very obvious to him that unless he received timely, complete and permanent treatment above the unfruitful scientific offers, his career would be on the line. Watching Emmanuel TV, it bothered him that people were being healed through prayer and yet, he was busy spending his precious time dashing from one hospital to another in search of medical solution.  In 2012, he made up his mind, packed his bag and came to The SCOAN where he received the Anointing Water. By then, he could not walk even 15 meters; he would be panting. But after ministering it and praying for Jesus to heal him, he felt strong, walked out of the church and called his wife to tell her how much better he felt. Although his wife insisted that he still took his medication, out of concern; but he said to her: “Don’t worry, I have ‘medicine’ in my hands.” It was not the drugs from his doctor but the Anointing Water which he got from the The SCOAN he was referring to. When he got back home, his wife was shocked to see him taking the Anointing Water in place of his diabetic drugs and yet he looked better. After some time, he went to hospital for a test at one of the best facilities in Ethiopia and his blood level had fallen within normal levels. He showed medical reports showing the severity of his illness before and how he is now completely healed. He advised: “Believe in God.”

KIDNEY TUMOUR OBLITERATED

Mrs Ojo Omoyemwen was racing against time. The doctors wanted her operated on without delay. What had started as an ordinary pain in her right side had become a nightmare that now threatened her life. Mrs Ojo had been going about her normal duties one day when she felt pain in one of her sides. After taking painkillers, she went to hospital and received drugs but even these, prescribed as they were, failed to bring any improvement. Sleeping became an excruciating battle. She was bothered, went back and requested for an X-ray. Her fears were soon confirmed. The doctors discovered a tumour in her kidney which needed immediate operation to remove one kidney.

They gave her an appointment but when she visited the hospital again the following week for another check-up ahead of the operation, the doctors told her the operation had to be fast-tracked. If she did not go for the operation, they said, the government would not be held responsible for any complications that might arise. She decided to go to a teaching hospital for a second opinion and, again, they recommended an operation. Believing God is the Healer of all ailments, she decided to come to The SCOAN where she received the Anointing Water. To her surprise, a few days after ministering the Anointing Water, she became better and was able to sleep on either side of her body. She went back to the hospital for a test and the doctors found, to their utter disbelief, that the tumour had disappeared. Today, she is completely free of any kidney problem. She advised people in her situation not to despair but have trust in God.

DIVINE DELIVERY FOR OVERDUE MOTHER

delivery; yet, time was passing by without any sign she would soon deliver her baby. Soon nine months elapsed and hit ten months.She was developing hypertension and the doctors said if the problem continued, she would have to be operated on. The idea of going under the doctor’s scalpel was nerve-racking. She decided to come to The SCOAN believing she would meet the Great Physician to ease her of her burden. Placed on the prayer line, she was prayed for by the man of God, Prophet T.B. Joshua. She felt nothing unusual at the time but little did she know that God had performed His own operation on her. Soon afterwards, she delivered a healthy, bouncing baby girl whom she came with as testimony to the greatness and goodness of the Lord Jesus!

MY BABY AND I WERE NOT SUPPOSED TO LIVE

Mother of two, Miss Eshai Mua Joyce from Cameroon, suffered from a swollen belly due to an ovarian cyst. This brought her social embarrassment for four horrible years. Everywhere she went, people thought she was pregnant and would ask when she was going to deliver. Her stomach was enormous and each day, continued to grow in size to an extent that “life was worse than hell” to her. She could hardly sit down and would have to open her legs to make room for her large stomach. The shame she felt made her hide at home and not show her face in public. She could not stand or lie down and felt restless and awkward in her condition.

She went everywhere desperately looking for a solution. She went to several doctors and they kept referring her to other doctors. She was told that the only solution was to go for an operation. She was afraid and told her mother to dig a grave for her, that after the operation, they should bury her, a clear indication that she had given up in her helpless state.

One day a friend who was an avid viewer of Emmanuel TV, told her about The SCOAN. They came and were arranged at the prayer line. As Wise Man Racine prayed for her, she knew that her problem was over. She felt light and was able to stand up and walk.

When she went back to Cameroon, she went for another medical examination to see the condition of her stomach. The test results showed that she had an eight-month old baby inside her stomach – healthy and strong! This was the first time doctors had seen on the scan that she was pregnant, something that was not noticed by medical doctors previously. Previously, all they would see was water.

The amount of fluid in her stomach along with the baby was 21.5 litres. The doctors were concerned and told her that if she delivered the baby and all the fluid came out at the same time, her heart would fail and she would die. But because God had taken control of her situation through the prayer of the wise man in Jesus’ name, she delivered the baby safely and all the liquid drained out without any complications. Upon conducting another test, the doctors found no ovarian cyst and that her uterus was normal. She came with her baby in her arms testifying to the glory of God that the size of her stomach has returned to normal.

She encouraged the viewers with great excitement that “When your time comes, you will be the next one to testify here.”

I’M GOING TO HARVARD!

“When you know T.B. Joshua, you know good success,” said twenty-two year old Mary Jean Nleya from Botswana who came to give testimony to the glory of God. As a SCOAN Scholarship Benefactor, she spoke of how Prophet T.B. Joshua has been there for her as a father would. “If there is any way to describe his role in my life, it is that of a father.” She explained how she came to The SCOAN looking for a father and Prophet T.B. Joshua accepted her and offered to sponsor her education. After graduating with her Bachelor’s Degree in Law from the University of Pretoria in South Africa, she gained an internship at the International Criminal Court in The Hague, Holland. To further her education and with Prophet T.B. Joshua’s encouragement, she applied to many prominent universities around the world including Harvard University in the USA. If not for his support as a father, she said she never would have had the confidence or belief that she could get into such prestigious universities. To encourage her in her faith even more, Prophet T.B. Joshua gave her a faith bracelet. To her greatest surprise, she has gained admission into Harvard Law School. The amount for school fees and supplies is US $82,123 which Prophet T.B. Joshua has provided for her.

GOD HEALED MY BRAIN

When Mrs Carolyn Mbisa from Malawi, visited the central hospital in her country hoping for a cure to a nagging headache, little did she know it would not only be a matter of a stronger painkiller. The painkillers she had already been taking did not seem to be working.

She was sweating, had sleepless nights and was bleeding from her nose. Therefore, when the doctor read out the results of a brain scan done on her, it revealed she had a brain abscess. She was scared and completely distressed. Doctors said she needed to immediately see a specialist. She decided to see the Great Physician and came to The SCOAN where she received the Anointing Water. Back at her hotel, she sprayed it into her bath water and prayed for healing, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. After the bath, she realised that the excessive sweating which had always been in her life was gone. Back in her country, Malawi, she noted that any sign associated with her ailment had vanished. She then had a dream in which she saw herself in The SCOAN. The man of God, Prophet T.B. Joshua, told her that she must confess that she was healed. She woke up and confessed her freedom as she made her way to the hospital for another scan. Behold, the abscess had disappeared! The doctor was amazed and even more so when she told him that she had not gone for any medical attention but had sought the attention of God Almighty.

REDEEMED AFTER SHOCKING CONFESSION OF HIV AND REVENGE

Ms Francis came out to testify to the goodness of God in her life through the deliverance she received at The SCOAN through Wise Man Christopher, in Jesus’ name. A prostitute from the age of 14, she contracted HIV/AIDS and, out of bitterness, began to sleep with men in order to afflict them with the same problem she was suffering from. She had met with single and married men alike. She testified that after her deliverance, she began to see that her past life had been a life of sin and started to regret her actions. No longer suffering from nightmares or feelings of hatred and revenge and confirmed that she now sleeps and lives peacefully for the first time in her life. She asked those who had been hurt through her actions to forgive her and to come to Jesus for His help and healing. Prophet T.B. Joshua then blessed her with the sum of US$1,500 to start her life anew as she returns to her country to follow Jesus Christ for the rest of her life.

HEAVY DUTY BREAKTHROUGH

Professional heavy duty equipment mechanic, Mr Humphrey Zimba from Zambia, found his financial life in need of repair as he passed through many years of joblessness. As a husband and father, he was unable to provide for his family. He had a parcel of bare land which he had possessed for many years but had been unable to develop as a result of poverty.

Believing that God could put an end to their suffering, Mr Zimba’s mother-in-law sponsored a trip for him to travel to The SCOAN in Lagos, Nigeria to receive the Anointing Water. With great expectation, Mr Zimba made the trip and returned home joyfully with the Anointing Water. After praying and ministering the Anointing Water in faith, Mr Zimba received a phone call offering him a position as a heavy duty equipment mechanic. Money began to flow in and his needs began to be met. Soon, there was enough to begin developing the bare land. In a short time, Mr Zimba, formerly unemployed, became a gainfully employed, brand new home owner!

NO MORE CRUTCHES NEEDED

As she rode through the calm streets on the back of a motorcycle, Mrs Barnabas Ayanoore could never imagine what was about to occur. Out of nowhere, a vehicle coming from the opposite direction crashed into her motorcycle. The bones in her leg were instantly crushed and she was rushed to the hospital. Doctors examined her and determined that she had sustained multiple bone fractures.

After undergoing two operations, she was confined to crutches. Despite the efforts of her doctors, her bones refused to heal. The time of her wedding was quickly approaching and, to her disappointment, she was forced to walk down the aisle on crutches. Deeply concerned about his new wife, Mr Ayanoore came to The SCOAN and received the Anointing Water. The couple prayed together and ministered it to all broken parts of her leg. Truly, Jesus Christ showed Himself strong on behalf of those who trusted in Him. Mrs Ayanoore realised that the pain had left. Suddenly, she was strong and began to walk. A visit to the doctor revealed that the fractures had healed, to the glory of God!

The service closed with mass prayer conducted by the wise men.
