As the congregation sang and praised the name of the Almighty God, Prophet T.B. Joshua came to the altar and addressed the congregation:

PROPHET T.B. JOSHUA

“Good morning church and viewers all over the world. I want to thank you for your prayer and your love for the victims and relations of all those involved in the incident.

“The battle is for the Lord. I really want to thank God. God has been doing so much. We need to know a thousand victories, all the way long. Glory and honour to God Almighty.

“For those who are outside the Lord, they would not know. When you are outside God, you will not know what I am talking about. When you are outside the light, you can’t understand what I am talking about.

“For the three weeks before the incident, if you heard my message and sat down, you would know I was giving you a vision and prophetic Word on how to handle the situation at hand. Trials and tests are meant for our belief. I go by the directives of God.

THE CHURCH AUDITORIUM

He continued, “I salute the martyrs of faith and the victims. I also salute their relations. My love and my prayers are always with them. The martyrs, victims and their relations, what they would like to see is the work of God continue. That is what they died for, suffered for and are living for.

“From your heart, commit the relations of the martyrs to God. Ask God to strengthen them and open their understanding more to know and understand what happened here. Ask God to give them the grace to continue in God. In Him we live; in Him we move. Ask God to give them the grace to continue the work of salvation.

“Remember the victims in one way or the other and ask for God’s intervention. Ask God for His power of resurrection within them and outside them, in Jesus Christ’s name we pray.

“Remain silent and give thanks to God, within you. I want you to change your confession and give thanks to God.

“Speaking on the need to exercise faith, the man of God enjoined all to listen to God, not men. He said further, “Don’t let your faith be disturbed. If anyone wants to disturb your faith with their negative words and message, remember God. See the need of God the more. See the need of serving the Lord the more, the need of moving closer to Him.

“Don’t be disturbed. Pray for the relations; pray for the victims. That is your assignment – your love and prayer for the victims and the relations of the martyrs. That is your duty at this time.

“Don’t allow yourself to be used by satan. If you do, satan will use his people to run to you and disturb you the more. This is an opportunity for them to disturb your faith with their negative words. Those who hate you and those who want you to die will run after you because of this issue. It is not that they love you but they want to see your countenance, your appearance, how you look and whether you are worried. Never allow this. Remember Jesus. Don’t change your words in a moment. Jesus is Lord.

“What you saw happen – God is aware. If God is aware, who else is aware does not matter. The martyrs, victims and relations want to see your faith grow; they want to see the work of salvation and the work of God in your life continue. They want to see you serve the Lord the more. The only way you can allow the work of God to continue is to be with yourself and God, not to allow intruders and people around you to advise you and tell you what to do when they could not stop what happened.

“I pray the satanic agents should be the only ones to suffer this. I said, our God will get back to them. Warn your family and brothers about their talk. You will know I am a man of God this time. People who are looking for your downfall and run to disturb your spirit, warn them to be careful of their tongues and the people who come to them. God is a God of vengeance – anybody can go for it.

“You cannot help me, only God. Don’t disturb me; please leave me with God. You will see the outcome. I am saying this so that only the people who did this will suffer for it and you will not in any way suffer for it. The people who are writing whatever they are saying – all of us will see the outcome of this. Leave it for God.

“I have been on this journey for 27 years. Do you think God can close His eyes and rubbish everything here? They are asking God to bring more evidence of whether He is the One who called me. Warn everyone to be very careful. This issue at hand is a delicate issue.

“People are using all this to gain money and friends. This is a warning. Whatever anybody wants to write, let them write it; they will be the ones to read it.

“I said, our God will get back to them. He has started somewhere. He is coming. If your brother is involved, unless he can resurrect the people who died, he will join them. If you can resurrect the people who died, you can go free. The servants, the people who sent them, the people who heard the stories all around and those who want to use it for themselves and disturb my spirit, you may likely join them. Be careful. To be forewarned is to be forearmed. Let us be very careful of our tongue.

“Your responsibility is to the victims and the relations of the victims and martyrs of faith. If you say you are born again, wherever the victims and their relations are, wherever the relations of the martyrs of faith are, look for them. Let them know you are praying for them. What you eat, let them eat it. What you wear, let them wear out of it. What you have on your table, let them have it on their table, too. Share what you have with them – your love, prayer, affection and strength. Share it with them at this time. This is what we call ‘born again’ – my pain is your pain. Your joy is my joy.

“The trillion people who claim to be with T.B. Joshua in prayer – if the same trillion people turn to the families of the victims and martyrs of faith, do you not think life would be better for them than before? Join them, look for them, as many others are doing now.”

The message was followed by powerful words of prophecy as Prophet T.B. Joshua, led by the Spirit of God, moved amidst the congregation, giving words of knowledge and prophecy to people proving that we are truly under God’s eyes. With the root cause of their problems exposed, the people breathed a sigh of relief knowing that God had indeed taken over their problems and solution is just a moment away.

Earlier on, Wise Man Harry encouraged the congregation and viewers of Emmanuel TV worldwide with a message about the life of Joseph and his journey to the throne.  He said, “Many of us today are without faith and hope because everything seems to go contrary to our expectations. For instance, when we expect breakthrough in our businesses, we receive setback. In place of good health, we begin to experience sickness.”

WISE MAN HARRY

He added, “There comes a time in our lives where we feel as if the world around us is coming to an end. It is in critical situations like this that we know who is a man of faith. Just because you are a Christian does not mean that satan cannot attack you because anything close to Jesus receives attack.” In summary, Joseph’s journey started from his father’s house to the dry pit; from the dry pit to slavery; from slavery to the prison and from the prison to the throne. At last, he found himself in the position of influence and he was able to re-unite with his family. His life’s experience teaches us two things:

1. No matter how long a lie is sustained truth will someday prevail.
2. The position of influence must begin with suffering. It began with a wound – being sold into slavery – and he became a pearl of usefulness.

“What is your dry pit right now?” asked Wise Man Harry.  Your own dry pit may come in form of sickness, poverty, disappointment. Joseph did not stay in the dry pit; he moved on! This means, your dry pit, slavery and your prison condition is not your destination! Your destination is the throne!

“God never promised to keep us away from trials but He promised to see us through. Through your crises, God is what you need Him to be. He’s ready to go through the dry pit, slavery, prison, fire, the valley of the shadow of death with you”. He concluded by saying that as a man of vision, patience, perseverance and endurance are your tools. Use them continuously!

RUTH KAFUNDA

A touching turn to the service came when 77 year-old Ruth Kafunda from Zambia cried out at the prayer line for deliverance from a 10 year addiction to eating anthill soil.
Speaking in her local dialect, she explained further that three of her children were mentally disturbed and because of that, she had been accused of being a witch.
According to the elderly lady, since 2009, she had been saving money to come to The SCOAN After the recent incident, when others didn’t want to follow her to The SCOAN, she insisted on coming and came alone with the faith that Jesus would deliver her through Prophet T.B. Joshua.

PROPHET T.B. JOSHUA PRAYS FOR RUTH KAFUNDA

Of all graces, faith honours Christ the most. Of all graces, Christ honours faith the most. After prayer from Prophet T.B. Joshua at the prayer line, she was delivered from the evil spirit that had caused her to be addicted to eating ant hill soil. Spitting out the soil after the deliverance, she declared that it no longer tasted sweet. With the belief and faith that her whole family had been delivered, Mrs Ruth joyfully thanked God for her encounter with Jesus Christ at The SCOAN prayer line.

The biblical truth that God inhabits His people and would never forsake His own was clearly evident and exemplified in the last Sunday service at The SCOAN. Heaven literally came down and the glory of God filled the souls of worshipers as they worshipped Him in the beauty of His holiness.

The entire worshippers were spiritually electrified with the splendour of God’s power and faithfulness. His enduring mercy, goodness and grace ran through the whole day’s colourful service.

An array of soul searching, spiritually uplifting songs of praise and worship by Emmanuel singers which touched the hearts of the entire congregation set the tune for the rest of the day’s service.

The man of God, Prophet T.B. Joshua inspired the souls of the congregants with his incisive and powerful message titled, ‘You Have To Experience God’. The message, which opened the spiritual eyes and hearts of worshippers, became a platform for critical self evaluation of individual’s Christian life with sober reflection as could be seen in the profound calmness that encapsulated the worshippers. The man of God, without mincing words, emphatically stated that until one experiences God, there can be no satisfaction in one’s life. He said that satisfaction in life was not about money or other worldly possessions but about truly experiencing God.

‘’Until you experience God, there will be dissatisfaction in your life – a sense of hunger to know what life is all about, a desire to know what happens after life is over,’’ he said, adding that these are the thoughts that continue to disturb unbelievers.

According to the man of God, age has nothing to do with death as one could be called at a young, middle or old age. However, this remains a big puzzle to those who have not experienced God by their wondering of when, how and what type of death would meet them. He clarified that when one truly experienced God, one would have answers to these questions. ‘’Those who are born of God: believers, born again, born from above long to be there. This is how you know you are born again,’’ he stated.

Figuratively describing this earth as a market, Prophet T.B. Joshua said, “No matter how long you spend in the market, no matter the profits you gain, you cannot sleep there – you have to come back home. It is not a comfortable place to sleep, no matter how beautiful, profitable or good that market is, you must come home; the market is no man’s land.’’

Shedding more spiritual illumination to the worshippers, he continued, “We know where we belong, where faith will be turned to sight. We say we walk by faith but there, faith will be turned to sight. Faith is expecting Jesus to do what He promised. Here, we close our eyes; over there, we open them in the world of glory.’’

Like a bombshell to the congregation whom he had previously enjoined to truly worship God in Spirit, Prophet T.B. Joshua again posited: “When you are worried over when, how and what will happen after this life is over, know that your relationship with God is questionable. Those who have a good relationship with God long to be there just as those who maintain their relationship with God also long to be with Him. Many of them always ask, “When am I going there? When will that be?” But for others, this is a place they don’t want to leave because they don’t know what will happen next. The desire to know what happens after this life is over – that is the thought in the hearts of those who have nowhere to go.’’

On the necessity of adversities in human life, the Prophet raised the worshippers’ understanding to know that “tests and trials are meant for our belief”, noting that “when an issue remains unchangeable, there is nothing we can do.” However, God will not do anything without first revealing it to His servants, he clarified. “The evidence of God in the life of a prophet, a minister of God, is acting with Him, knowing God’s opinion about himself and others. When you act with God, you will know God’s opinion about yourself and others,” he explained.

To further educate people, Prophet T.B. Joshua explained that anybody could gather a crowd, have branches or the largest church all over the world but not anyone could stand a trial without the help of God. He continued, “What the crowd is mostly looking for is outward gifts but to keep this crowd in terms of tribulation, trials and tests, it takes God.” He concluded, “You do not need God to bring a crowd together but to keep them when trials come, God must be involved.’’

After finishing his message, the man of God moved around and prophesied to the lives of many people in which the fundamental problems affecting them were revealed with such identified yokes broken by the power of the Holy Ghost in the name of Jesus Christ.

The man of God also attended to hundreds of afflicted on the Prayer Line. It was a powerful time of healing and deliverance from diverse afflictions in the lives of those that received prayer. They were all set free from their satanic bondages.

Earlier, Wise Man Christopher had aroused the spiritual appetites of the congregants with his short but deeply spiritually provocative message, titled, ‘The Way To The Kingdom Of God.’  Speaking from John 14:6 as his proof text, Wise Man Christopher quoted the Lord’s Words: ‘’I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me”.

“Here, Jesus Christ tells us that He is the Beginning, Middle and End. To get to the Kingdom of God, we must follow the way of the Cross. The way of the Cross is the way to the Kingdom of God,” he began.

He said the way to the Kingdom of God is not without its challenges. According to him, it is full of hatred, thorns, snakes, scorpions, persecution, intimidation, blackmail, slanderous remarks, campaigns of calumny, name-calling, among many other unpleasant experiences. He further stated that “the highway to the Kingdom of God starts on this side of death and the entrance is very easy to find. It is right in front of you, in the Word of God.”

He said the good news is that Jesus died for our sin and broke the power of death by His resurrection, adding that whoever calls on the name of the Lord, Jesus Christ, with faith in God’s Word, shall be saved.

“So, keep the Word of God in your mouth, meditate on it day and night and do what the Word says, for this is not only the process of believing but also the way to the Kingdom of God. God is building Himself and His Kingdom into us, making Himself and His Kingdom a part of us as His Word dominates, rules and sanctifies our spirit natures. This shows that God and His Kingdom are within us in the Living Word,” he enjoined the worshippers.

The service came to an end with the mass prayer conducted by the man of God, Prophet T.B. Joshua. It was another moment of commotion in the kingdom of darkness as all hidden demonic problems were also x-rayed and flushed out as they manifested.

All the congregants also received the touch of the Anointing Water in order to ensure that no one went back with his or her problem. It was a marvellous day as the name of the Lord was glorified.

Different nations across the world joined worshippers last Sunday to worship God and glorify His Holy name as they tuned in to Emmanuel TV.

Bubbling with enthusiasm, the children of God sang melodious songs of praises and worship as they joined the Emmanuel Singers in a divinely charged atmosphere.

The man of God, Prophet T.B. Joshua gave a thought-provoking message that put believers on their spiritual toes.

“If you pray and you never hear from God, it does not mean that God is powerless – it means your relationship with God fails to prove that Jesus is the same yesterday, today and forever. If you pray to God and don’t hear His voice saying, ‘Yes’ or ‘No’, it does not mean God is not alive. He is alive but your relationship with Him fails to prove that Jesus is the same yesterday, today and forever. He is the same God who rescued Daniel, Meshack, Shadrack and Abed-Nego’. Once again he challenged us to reflect inward on our relationship with God.

Later, the man of God moved among the worshippers who were eager to hear from God and touched many lives through prophecies. The congregants witnessed a lot of revelations from which many bondages were broken and evil yokes were lifted from shoulders.

The day’s prayer line session which followed was also memorable to the glory of God as the man of God, by the power of the Holy Spirit, saw to the deliverance and healing of those afflicted, including those who threw away their crutches and walked out of their wheel chairs.

Speaking on the topic: JESUS CHRIST KNOWS YOUR SITUATION, Wise Man Daniel uplifted the faith of the surging worshippers through a down-to-earth message of God’s unflinching love and care for His people whom He would never fail to uphold by His Word. The Wise Man enjoined the worshippers not be controlled by their situation and always see the saving grace of God’s presence. His words:

“What is your situation? As a Christian, don’t grumble, murmur or rebel because God is aware. What you are complaining about may be to preserve you for the purpose which God created you for. Remember, seeing what God says will produce and increase your faith. And when it is time for God’s purpose to be fulfilled in your life, there will be a driving force that will change your action and location. Don’t forget that many toil very hard and pray fervently, but the duty of God is to determine the time and season of harvest. Therefore, leave your situation for God because He knows. And because He knows, He will never leave you without solution. As Christians, as long as the world is in place in our lives, Christ will be displaced. As long as self-confidence is in place in our hearts, the confidence born of God will be displaced. Jesus Christ is a democrat- He does not impose His Will on anyone. He allows us to exhaust whatever worldly advantages we feel we have so that, when we have learnt lessons, we would value Him.”

The day also witnessed prayer for the nations, reaching out to a troubled world conducted by Prophet T.B. Joshua, who afterwards encouraged the congregation that due to the distractions in this world, the only way to maintain breakthrough is by meditation.  “I mediate on the Word day and night. Whatever I do prospers.”

Not to leave any room for satan to manipulate, the new Anointing Water was also administered on all present to ensure that no one escaped the anointing of God.

It was a glorious day, the name of the Lord was magnified, Praise the Lord.

The sermon of the man of God, Prophet T.B. Joshua at the Sunday Service on October 19, 2014 centered on this very symbolic subject. Having variously affirmed his adoration for the Biblical concept of truth, the man of God laid emphasis on this central Christian principle. Addressing the usually receptive and inspired congregation, the man of God stated that: “It is only truth that can see us through. Even our Lord, Jesus Christ cannot do anything against the truth because He, Himself is truth. He is the Creator of Heaven and earth. He has no beginning; He has no end. You have a beginning and you have an end. Stop fighting the truth because truth does not lose the battle; God does not lose battles”.

Speaking further, the man of God said that the Word of God is the only acceptable standard for understanding the truth. While admonishing the congregation to strive to make the Word of God a part of their lives, he also posited that it is only by so doing that they can be set free: “Knowing facts about Jesus cannot change your relationship with Him. If you want to know the truth, go to your Bible. Make the Bible your standard because only that can set you free. Take time to splash around in the Word, to absorb it, to imbibe it and to gather it in. It must be an integral part of your being”.

Amplifying further the invaluable power in the Word of God, Prophet T.B. Joshua highlighted the far-reaching impact it can make on the lives of Christians who make it an integral part of their lives: “His Word has healing power, converting power and a purifying power. The Word can keep one from error and sin. If you say your heart is troubled, His Word rejoices the heart; it gladdens the heart. His Word is so profitable. His Word is so enduring”. In his famous style of backing up his sermons with Biblical Scriptures for the sake of expressing their practicality and applicability in today’s Christian living, the man of God drew the attention of the now engrossed congregation to the words of Jesus Christ Himself concerning the healing power of the Word in John 15:3 – “You are already clean because of the word I have spoken to you”.

Earlier on that Sunday, Wise Man Racine enlightened the congregation with a spiritually uplifting message titled, HOLD ON TO GOD. The Wise Man’s message made an immediate spiritual impact as it related the prevailing universal crises to the doors of everyone’s particular experience. According to him, “Life is a battlefield and there are many battles to be won”. He also stressed that Christians must not forget to testify to God’s goodness, kindness and mercy each time He gives us victory in any battle.
He went further to exhort the congregation to always see God as their greatest source by giving all glory unto Him, observing that man is incapable of achieving anything without God on his side: “The best man in the world holds his integrity no longer than God upholds him in it. The best man in the world can only maintain his position and honour as long as God keeps him in it.”
He emphasized that we should always hold on to God, knowing that “beyond earthly sorrow is the joy of Heaven”. Adding that we should live in the fear of the Lord more than the fear of man, he concluded that this precept “should be the guiding principle behind every Christian’s faith”.

After praying for the sick and afflicted at The SCOAN Prayer Line, the man of God led the congregation and viewers around the world in a powerful time of mass prayer. Everything that was commanded on earth was commanded in Heaven as prison doors were opened and chains were loosed. Every religious spirit, spirit of doubt, unbelief, error and heresy was commanded out, in the name of Jesus Christ.
As they prayed along with Prophet T.B. Joshua, the congregation released themselves from every ancestral spirit and spirit of their forefathers that had tormented them. They confessed freedom and victory in Christ Jesus, knowing that the truth had won the battle.
Next, the Anointing Water was ministered on all present, being used as a medium to sanctify and purify their spirits, souls and bodies for the service of the Lord.

The atmosphere was electric as usual and the ambience created by the choir’s edifying renditions created a holy aroma in the entire congregation. The zest of expectation was vividly written on the faces of the congregants who joined the choir in delivering soul-lifting pieces to the glory of His name.

Amidst the charged atmosphere in The SCOAN cathedral, the man of God, Prophet T.B. Joshua calmly walked to the altar and amplified the topic of the day: “You will never succeed in whatever you are doing unless you believe and you can never believe in any business or whatever you are doing unless it is your dream and your goal – your destiny, what you are destined to do. When you are doing what you are destined to do, even though you pass through the valley of the shadow of death, you will fear no one. But if you are not doing what you are destined to do, the shadow will quench you.”

According to the man of God, whose sermon centred on DESTINY, it is only our God-given dreams and talents that will stand the test of time. In other words, it is only when we are operating within our divine calling that we may be able to make progress because God had ordained it: “Hear what the Bible says, No trouble or tribulation can seize, stop, consume you except what is common to man. You will never succeed in any job, in anything you are doing unless you believe in that thing. How will you believe in a thing that is not your destiny? You are not destined to be an accountant and you doing the work of an accountant, you are not destined to be a pastor and you are doing the work of a pastor- that situation will crash you, you will be finished and your history will be gone”.

The man of God admonished the congregation about living fake and borrowed lives. According to him, people who try to do what others are doing will fail unless it is their destiny. His sermon laid bare the wrongness in many Christian lives which has become more of a competition rather than living out God’s divine purpose. He made particular reference to marriage, which he said has been misconceived by many people: “Marriage has become competition, running a race – this is why marriages crumble today. There are divorces everywhere, all over the world. Competition has come; crisis has come to the house. Today, marriage seems to be competition whereas it is supposed to be cooperation. In the same vein, Christianity too is co-operation, not competition”.

After nourishing the soul of the congregation with his spiritually wholesome message, the man of God proceeded to the Prayer Line where he laid hands on many who needed healing and deliverance and to the glory of God, there were great testimonies of healing and deliverance from age-long afflictions.

WISEMAN HARRY

Citing the biblical example of Job and how he lost all his earthly possessions and yet remained faithful to God, Wise Man Harry observed that the death of a believer was not his end but a transition to a higher glory: “…Christians do not die, they are transmuted; they do not cease to be, but they are only removed from one world to another”.

He concluded by urging Christians to make Jesus Christ their source so that whether they die or live, they can say “I AM READY TO MEET HIM”.

BLESSING REPLACES BARRENNESS

The story of Mrs Nkelle Njoh, a Cameroonian living in Gabon was a sorrowful one until the Anointing Water rewrote her history in Jesus’ name. Married for nine years without a child, her husband threatened to leave her. She was desperate and scared of losing her marriage; she ran to her mother and confided in her. The response of her mother was simple: “You don’t have a problem; have you heard of Emmanuel TV?”

When the channel was turned on in front of her, her hope was rekindled. Her mother did not stop at that but determined to see her daughter happy, she accompanied her to The SCOAN in Lagos. She received the Anointing Water and when she ministered it in Jesus’ name and met with her husband, three months later, the happy news came out – that she was pregnant!

The daughter that repaired the marriage was named Blessing after the blessing of God and today Mrs Nkelle Njoh is once again pregnant and bubbling with joy. Advising people not to be selfish with the Anointing Water but to bless others, she said, “If you have Anointing Water, help your neighbours as not everyone has the opportunity to come to The SCOAN”.

GOD OF IMPOSSIBILITIES

Mrs Ifiora Eunice Nkem suffered from an ovarian cyst for three years, a problem that made her a frequent visitor to different hospitals and threatened her job. When her trips to the hospital became too frequent, she herself began to lose hope in a medical solution for her problem.

The pain was excruciating as she could hardly walk when the discomfort gripped her. Tired of her daily pain, one day she discovered Emmanuel TV and came to The SCOAN to receive the Anointing Water. She ministered it believing that her own case would not be different to the thousands she had seen on Emmanuel TV. Her joy returned as the pain vanished and she went back to the same hospital where the results of the test confirmed that the ovarian cyst was no longer there.

“Have hope in God – He is the God of impossibilities” she advised the crowd.

THRIVING IN DIVING

 The deep sea sparkled as evening came. Plunging into its depths, Christopher basked in the beauty of the South African ocean. Growing up, he never conceived in his wildest dreams that diving would be the profession he would eventually come to champion.

CHRISTOPHER OKON EKPIMA

His story to diving glory began with an admission letter to a prominent South African diving school. However, after securing a visa, finances to purchase a ticket were scarce and it appeared the opportunity was about to disappear as speedily as it arose. Mr Okon desperately called on close confidants, seeking to raise sufficient funds for the ticket but no-one was ready to help. Bidding his goodbyes to friends and family in Akwa-Ibom, Christopher made his way to Lagos for his flight, albeit without the finances for the ticket. Before going to the airport, having watched Emmanuel TV on a few occasions, he decided to visit The SCOAN. Standing outside The SCOAN building, he offered a silent, poignant prayer. “God of T.B. Joshua, as I have seen others testify here, grant me my own testimony!” Pulling forth his Anointing Water, he ministered it on his phone and tried calling one of his friends who had previously told him he could not help. This time, the story changed! Required finances were immediately released and several days later, Christopher touched down in Johannesburg, South Africa.

Arriving at the diving school, another challenge arose. The initial complications in travel meant that he arrived late for the course, missing out on some vital lessons. An exam was set for the next day and Mr Okon had zero knowledge on the subject matter before him. Bringing out his Anointing Water, he ministered it on the examination papers, praying for Divine inspiration. He began randomly ticking the multiple-choice questions, using the scarce knowledge he had and relying on divine intervention. The pass mark was 70%; Christopher got 76%! Several months later, he passed with the highest mark in his class and is now a bonafide, professional diver!

Breathing heavily, Boukari Amibou knew death was nigh. A gun was pointed at his forehead, poised to fire. Armed Libyan militia surrounded him, discussing how they would dispose of his body. Mr Amibou was defenceless save for a ‘weapon’ his captors knew nothing about!

MR BOUKARI AMIBOU

Abducted and bundled into a remote Libyan jungle, it appeared the last had been heard of Mr Boukari Amibou, a businessman from Benin Republic. After a short argument, the moment of execution had arrived. From point-blank range, his assassin shot. Nothing happened; the gun did not fire. Mr Amibou clutched the Anointing Sticker hanging around his neck, a gift he had received from a friend before travelling to Libya. Furious, the gunman took aim once more and fired. Nothing! Checking the gun, the man was perplexed. Turning it to his own head, he tried once more. This time, it worked. Rushing to the bloodied body of their compatriot, confusion reigned in the camp of his captors. Throwing aside their guns and brandishing knives, they decided to finish the job. However, each attempt to penetrate his flesh was met with an almost stony resistance. No knife, sword or machete could pierce his skin.

Seeing that Mr Amibou was clutching the Anointing Sticker from The SCOAN around his neck, they realised its role in his protection and tried to remove it. One eventually managed to cut the lanyard that held it around his neck but as the sticker fell to the ground, so did the man. Gathering courage, Mr Boukari picked up his Anointing Sticker on the ground, declaring to his captors that they must release him. Several days later, he was a free man!

Deciding to leave Libya by road, his car got stuck in the midst of the desert. Placing the Anointing Sticker on the car engine, it miraculously revived, enabling him to finally leave Libyan shores. His next destination – The Synagogue, Church Of All Nations in Lagos – to share his mind-boggling testimony!

PROPHET T.B. JOSHUA

The Sunday Service on November 2, 2014 at The SCOAN was a blend of kingdom spectacle with scriptural depth. Both the ministration of the choir and the spirited rendition by Pastor Fernando Tovar from Mexico created an undiluted atmosphere for divine visitation. The congregation was passionately engaged as they responded to the soul-lifting melodies emanating from the choir. Their energetic dance clearly suggested that God was indeed right there in their midst.

Wise Man Christopher delved into the Scriptures with a thought-provoking message titled “The Coming Judgment”. He began his teaching by making an incisive analogy with the story of a teenager, who took for granted the kind decision of his community’s King to cancel the debt which the boy’s family, from one to four generations had incurred. According to Wise Man Christopher, instead of the teenager to appreciate the King’s gesture, he went the way of his forefathers, incurring more debt and attracting a jail term for himself. The teenager should have done better if he had understood his duty towards the kindness of the king. As  Wise Man Christopher analytically revealed, “Today, we are all debtors being sinners. God alone is our Creditor. Whether our sins are great or small, one thing is clear – they are more than we can pay ourselves. Jesus Christ paid the debt of our situation when He died on the Cross of Calvary for our sins. Jesus is the Redeemer, the One sent to buy us back from the dominion of satan. What then is our duty? The Bible taught us in John 6:29 that the great Gospel duty is to believe in Jesus Christ”.

WISE MAN CHRISTOPHER

Wise Man Christopher elucidated further by admonishing the congregation not to take for granted the sacrificial act of the remission of our sins by Jesus, “Although a person may have committed many sins, the chief sin of the unsaved is not believing in Christ. When a person gets that straightened out, the root of the problem is solved; the blood of Christ cleanses the heart, the moment a person believes and confesses Him as Saviour. The day you make Jesus Christ your Lord and Saviour, you are forgiven of all your sins, but you do not experience that forgiveness until you receive it by faith. What a grace! However, just because we are saved by grace through faith does not mean that we should continue in sin and expect the grace of God to abound. Certainly not! If certainly not, then, are we waiting expectantly for Jesus’ second coming in faith or sleeping spiritually in sin? And what should the children of God be thinking and talking about right now?”

Continuing, he expatiated on the dynamic nature and quality of faith and its uniqueness to the human situation. He outlined the platforms on which our faith can be activated while also observing that there are scenarios that render faith inactive: “Faith has a unique place where it is expressed. The unique place where faith is expressed is in our works because our works prove, perfect or complete our faith. You cannot be stealing, killing, destroying and lying and at the same time believe in salvation or restoration. If faith and works do not agree with each other, there must be something wrong with the faith. In James 2:17, the Bible says, “Thus also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead.” Without works, faith is dead. Examine your daily life and you will find out how much faith you have in your spiritual life, business, career or marriage and also you will know how prepared you are for the coming judgement of Christ”.

He prayed that on that day, Christians may find themselves worthy to stand before their Creator: “O God, our Lord, make us watchful and keep us faithful as we await the coming of our Lord Jesus that when He shall appear, He may not find us sleeping in sin but active in His service and joyful in His praise.

TESTIMONIES:

Testimonies continue to pour in – a confirmation of God’s unceasing presence at The SCOAN. The following are some of the testimonies shared by our brethren.

STAGNATION TO PETROL STATION

MR GOSPEL CHUKWUEMEZIE

Gospel Chukwuemezie was experiencing stagnation and setback in his business. One day, he visited his friend and that was the first time he watched Emmanuel TV. Watching all the testimonies given on Emmanuel TV, he decided to make his journey to The SCOAN. Before going back to his State, he had the grace to receive the Anointing Water and the Anointing Sticker. Upon getting home, he ministered the Anointing Water to his land and prayed, “Whatever I must have eaten from the table of my enemies, let it be flushed out, in Jesus’ name. Lord, secure my life by the blood of Jesus and the fire of the Holy Ghost” and things started changing – people who owed him started returning his money, everything was improving in his import and export business. He began to experience breakthrough in all areas of his life. As he was showing us the certificate he got from the Ministry of Petroleum, he further testified that he has finished building his own petrol station on the land to which he ministered the Anointing Water. Having these breakthroughs, he advises everyone to never give up. In fact, you will never escape the anointing of God.

THERE IS MORE TO LIFE THAN DRINKING AND WATCHING PORNOGRAPHY

Mr Clement Banda was addicted to drinking alcohol and watching pornography for 12 years. As a result, he could not take care of his family. He finished all his salary on his addiction and causing his wife to be unhappy. Seeing his wife sad was his joy and he would even beat her when he was drunk. His wife never knew that he was addicted to pornography.

He lost his affection for her to the point that he could not meet her without playing a porn movie in the background. He used to sit down and ask himself if that kind of life was worth living because he was seeing his life destroyed with debt everywhere. One day, he watched Emmanuel TV and prayed along with Prophet T.B. Joshua. At night, he had a dream where Prophet T.B. Joshua laid his hand on the back of his head and when he woke up in the morning, he passed out a black substance and that marked his deliverance. Instantly, the affection for his wife was restored and he started seeing her as part of his life. Mrs Banda also testified that her husband is now a changed man and a wonderful father. He advised all to be encouraged because there is nothing that God created that He cannot change.

BARRENNESS TURNED TO FRUITFULNESS

MR & MRS EBERECHUKWU OMASI

Mr Eberechukwu Omasi was suffering from the problem of low sperm count while Mrs Omasi was having hormonal imbalance. They decided to come to The SCOAN in search of solution to their problems. They ministered the Anointing Water to themselves as they prayed, “Heal us, oh Lord and we shall be healed, in Jesus’ name”. After ministering the Anointing Water, Mrs Omasi missed her period and was told by her doctor that she had become pregnant. Indeed, the pregnancy God gave her was not like the world gave. She never had any problem with her pregnancy and she delivered a baby boy safely. Now, they are proud parents of Baby John. Praise the Lord!

CARER IN NEED OF GOD’S CARE

Mrs Josephine Fani Ziggar from France, a carer of orphans and children, was surprised one day to find herself in a debilitating condition. As she tried to move, the pain increased until she found herself at a standstill. Upon visiting the doctors, she was diagnosed with lumbar spondylosis and osteoarthritis in both knees. The doctors gave her medication and a lumbar corset but could not cure her problem. The pain increased to such an extent that she was forced to retire from her work. Her in-laws became her carers and had to help her in her every daily activity.

After several painful months, her son introduced her to Emmanuel TV. Witnessing the healing and deliverance of others increased her faith and she determined to visit The SCOAN for her healing in Jesus’ name.

Placed at The SCOAN Prayer Line, one of the wise men prayed for her and she felt heat move through her body. She then stood up and began to walk, to the glory of God. Since that day, she has been walking freely and has not experienced any of the pain of the past. To her joy, she has also been able to return to her work and to the children she cares so much about.

Giving glory to God, she advised all who were watching to put their trust and faith in Jesus Christ for His mercy and divine healing.

BACK TO THE PULPIT

Frequent urination due to Hepatitis B had caused Rev John A. Bekoe from Ghana serious embarrassment in ministry for five years.  As the chief assistant pastor to the bishop in charge, he found himself feeling useless and hopeless as time after time while ministering on the pulpit, he would have to exit suddenly and often would not even reach the bathroom before he wet himself. This affected his confidence as a minister and caused great worry about the impression congregants had about him. It got to a point where he had to stop preaching in his church because of this stigma.

REV & MRS JOHN

While watching Emmanuel TV and praying along with Prophet T.B. Joshua one day, to his amazement Rev Bekoe received a shock, as if an electric current was surging through his body. After the prayer, he felt instantly relieved and when he went to the hospital for a checkup, he was declared Hepatitis B free! He advised others not to allow people to influence them negatively. Distance is not a barrier; if he could be healed while in Ghana, you can also be healed anywhere you are.

THE SHELTER OF GOD’S PROTECTION

After recounting a terrifying tale of daily nightmares, Miss Nelly Sunday Jacob requested assistance from her sister. In response to her plea, the sister brought Anointing Water and the Anointing Sticker to her home. They prayed together, ministered the Anointing Water throughout her home and placed the Anointing Sticker on her door in Jesus’ name.

MISS NELLY SUNDAY

Miss Jacob suddenly felt something instructing her to dig up a place close to her door. She dug and noticed a black plastic bag in the ground containing a charm. After removing the charm, Miss Jacob found herself delightfully free from the evil dreams.

Some days later, as she entered her compound, suddenly a bucket of boiling water was poured on her. A neighbour quickly noticed it and raced Miss Jacob to hospital. By that time, her skin had become black and began to peel. She was no longer able to wear clothing at all and was in tremendous pain until her sister came to the hospital and ministered the Anointing Water on her, praying for her in the name of Jesus Christ. She felt a sudden relief and a cool sensation all over her body. Within a week, to the amazement of the doctors, her skin had healed completely. A report from the doctor declared her burn-free and infection-free.

Her advice to all was to place themselves under the protecting hand of Jesus Christ by remaining in an attitude of prayer at all times.

DIVINE CALCULATION – MATHS MADE EASY

Mr Ayodele Olufemi started his testimony saying that his father was a famous mathematician and had encouraged his son to follow in his footsteps. However, at school, he struggled in Mathematics until a pastor introduced him to Emmanuel TV and

ministered the Anointing Water on him. He then slept and had a dream where a tall man dressed in white was speaking to a gathering of all races and each person heard in their own dialect. When he woke up, he realized that he had received inspiration in the subject of Mathematics to the degree that he could complete sums in his brain faster than a friend on a calculator. He has since discovered and developed several theories in Mathematics to help students which he has published in several textbooks which have been approved for senior secondary schools in Ghana and Nigeria. His new techniques make even the most difficult formulae, multiplications and other sums simple for students of any level. As his mathematics career began to flourish in teaching and authoring, he was able to move out of his one room apartment into his own house and now drives two cars by the grace of God. He advised the congregation that God was the Giver of all knowledge and if we make God “Our number one” we would shine in whatever field we find ourselves in.

MASS PRAYER:

In the time of mass prayer, Prophet T.B. Joshua came out to give some powerful prayer points: Ask Jesus for the grace of obeying His Word. To increase your faith, keep your purity.

I command every spirit hindering your present and your future; I command it out, in Jesus’ name. You must be separated from religious spirits, from your forefathers’ spirits. You must be separated.

He concluded by declaring that if we meditate on the Word of God day and night; whatever we do will prosper.

The church service of Sunday, November 9, 2014, witnessed the usual ambience of an overflow of members who came in high expectations to receive answers to their different prayers from the throne of grace. The choir lifted the spirits of the congregants with soul-edifying songs of worship; the melodic blend of the choristers’ acoustic voices with the symphony of accompanying instruments created a rich melody that preceded the message of the day as presented by Prophet T.B. Joshua.

The man of God focused on the mystery of faith and its power to transform a Christian’s life and uplift them to the realm of grace. According to him, “Faith is a spiritual force that grows and develops in the heart or spirit of man. Romans 10:17 says, ‘Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.’ This means, faith originates with God. Faith is not in ourselves. If faith is in ourselves, faith will be weak. Faith is not in apostles but faith originates with God. The more we look at God’s Word, look to God, the more we will have faith. What does this mean to you? This means, spontaneously, naturally, faith comes”.

While admonishing the congregation on the need to develop faith, he observed that it is only when their hearts are focused on the Word of God that faith would thrive and work wonders. He noted that the heart of man is often overtaken by other thoughts that ordinarily should not compete for space with God who owns everything including our hearts: “There is a conflict between light and darkness in our heart. For example, what many are saying, “When will church close today? This is six o clock; tomorrow is Monday, I am going to work”. You keep talking to yourself. All this is going on in your heart and at the same time, God wants to live in your heart. All that you are saying has nothing to do with God. God cannot be a tenant in your heart; He should take over your heart. In the same heart, faith needs to be developed but a lot of things are going on there”.

Referring to the Faith Bracelet as a tool to help in meditating on God’s Word, the man of God encouraged the congregation to count with their hands and talk to God with their hearts in order to checkmate the dubious activities of satan. “You need to be in an attitude of prayer all the time. A break in prayer is a break with God”.

Speaking further, the man of God enlightened the congregation on the dual-nature of life. According to him, life is all about falling and rising. He observed that in falling, there is always a lesson learnt that will be to the advantage of the person. He further maintained that a Christian’s faith in God is usually tested to see if he can handle the coming glory: “Life is all about falling and rising; it is not smooth. You fall and you rise again. If anybody tells you that life is all about rising, they are deceiving themselves. You rise and fall and learn a lesson from it. That is what makes you strong. If you don’t know what it takes to be condemned and you are being praised everywhere, how will you manage the blessing?”

The man of God concluded his message with a call to the congregation to increase their faith by meditating on the Word of God always as that can enhance their ability to win every battle as long as they fight from within their hearts: “To increase your faith, keep your purity. How do we keep our purity? By meditating on God’s Word day and night. Meditate on God’s Word day and night and whatever you do prospers. This (Faith Bracelet) will help you to meditate on God’s Word day and night. Any battle that is not fought in the heart but on the outside, you cannot win it. But the problem we are having today is that we don’t fight the battle in the heart but on the outside”.

Later in the service, there was mass prayer, in which Prophet Τ.Β. Joshua led the congregation in powerful prayer points:
All spirits operating through your mouth, eyes, nose, faculties – begin to command them out!
Begin to command out all religious spirits in your life – spirit of unbelief, heresy, error, in the name of Jesus Christ!
The congregation prayed along with the man of God with so much energy and are expectant of His wonder-working hand upon their situations and lives generally.

Earlier in the Sunday service Wise Man Daniel had spoken explicitly on the biblical concept of confession. In a message titled, YOU CANNOT RISE ABOVE YOUR CONFESSION, he delved into the power of Christian confession: “Christianity is the Great Confession. And the law of confession says, “I confess I have a thing before I consciously possess it.” This clearly shows that, what you speak with your mouth and then believe in your heart becomes a visible reality in this natural world as long as you constantly hold fast to your confession of faith”.

Citing the Book of Romans 10:9–10, Wise Man Daniel expatiated on the true definition of faith from a Christian perspective: “This scripture tells us that believing is a part of salvation just as confession is a part of salvation. Confession is saying what God has said in His Word; it is saying the same thing the Scripture has said; it is simply agreeing with God. With the heart, man believes unto salvation. That is, man’s heart acts on the Word and then drives the lips to confess. Remember, faith is of man’s heart, not of man’s mind or body”.

In his conclusion, the Wise Man urged Christians to endeavour to confess God’s Word so that He will bring it to pass in their lives. According to him, “If you confess that the Lord will not leave you or abandon you in whatever situation you find yourself, then you will possess the very presence of God in every step you take. Therefore, as a Christian, hold fast to your confession of faith. To hold fast to your confession of faith is to say what God has said over and over, until the thing desired in your heart and promised in His Word is fully manifested. With this, you will agree with me that your life will always go to the level of your confession. I mean, YOU CANNOT RISE ABOVE YOUR CONFESSION”.

In confirmation of God’s presence at The SCOAN and His wonderful works through His servant Prophet T.B. Joshua, more and more people have been sharing their testimonies to the glory of the Almighty God. TEARS OF BARRENNESS WIPED AWAY

Mr & Mrs Iyeh Vincent had the problem of barrenness for five years. Both of them were having staphylococcus and Mr Vincent also had low sperm count. This problem affected their home, family and careers. Mr Vincent was often mocked. People would ask them, “For how many years have you been married and you have no child?” They went to many hospitals where the doctors told them that they would not be able to have children because of their health conditions. Mr Vincent watched Emmanuel TV and believed that they had found their place of solution. Last June, they came to The SCOAN and received the Anointing Water; they prayed with it and met as husband and wife.

In the meantime, Mrs Vincent got a call for a visa interview in Abuja, Nigeria. She went for the interview and was the only person out of 11 that day to be granted a visa to the U.S.A. She travelled to the U.S.A where she said that God ministered to her heart to buy baby boy clothes. When she returned to Nigeria, her husband asked her what she had bought during her time in the U.S.A; she replied that she had got baby boy clothes believing that their own time to receive a baby was coming. She started experiencing symptoms of pregnancy and went to the doctors for a test. To the doctor’s surprise, they confirmed her pregnant. They also confirmed that both of them were free from staphylococcus. She delivered a baby boy safely for the glory of God on July 11, 2014 and named him Caleb.

FROM GRIEVOUS THORNS TO UNEXPECTED GLORY

Mrs Nweke and her husband came to testify to the transforming goodness of God in their lives. Mrs Nweke was into business for many years. She travelled to the four corners of the earth buying and selling, importing and exporting. Her business focus shifted from African clothing to executive suits and bags to textiles and even fish. Despite her extensive travels, all efforts to maintain her resources proved useless. The money she received would go as fast as it came in and she found herself unable to give account of what she had. The frustration and setback reached a point where she decided to return to Nigeria and seek for a divine solution. When she first visited The SCOAN, to say she was broke was a gross understatement. She had reached wits end.

Privileged to receive the Anointing Water, she decided to pray with it in faith, believing for a total transformation of her life. She returned to Delta state and soon heard that there was a vacancy for the federal position of President of Market Men and Women Association, Delta State Chapter. To her utmost shock and joy, she was selected to fill this position. Last week, a splendid inauguration ceremony was held for her with invitation cards and customized bags to honour the occasion. Displaying her medal, rosette and letter of appointment, Mrs Nweke could not find words to express her happiness. After her appointment, she has started receiving calls from people she had not heard from in years from all over the world. She has a vision and plan for a modern well-equipped warehouse as an encouragement to support the grassroots in society to buy privately and sell in their respective markets. Her advice was: “In this life, there will be grievous thorns poking you and provoking you but do not be disturbed. Keep running the straight race with God and He will surely reward you, in Jesus’ name.”

FIRST FEMALE TWIN AIRLINE PILOTS IN NIGERIA HEALED!

Hassana and Huseina Edili Ogaji from Canada are the first female twin airline pilots in Nigeria. They are currently doing their Masters Degrees in Aviation Safety Management. Their careers were progressing but their health was in trouble, Hassana had the problem of ceased menstruation while Huseina was having spotting menstruation meaning that her menstruation was continuous. The ceased menstruation caused Hassana to have swelling in her body, pain in her legs and she was not very active; it was affecting all areas of her life. As for Huseina, the problem of hormonal imbalance and spotting menstruation caused her discomfort and was unbearable. She had to change regularly.

They watched a clip on YouTube of Prophet T.B. Joshua and they were inspired to come to The SCOAN for prayer. Last Sunday, Prophet T.B Joshua prayed for them and Hassana felt something coming out and when she went back to where she was accommodated, she started seeing her menstrual flow. Her menstruation flowed for five days, confirming it had normalized. Huseina said that after the prayer the problem of spotting menstruation had stopped and she gave God the glory. They advised people that whatever problem they are having, they should come to Jesus and trust in Him and they would also receive their healing.

ENGULFING ADDICTIONS ERASED BECAUSE OF CHRIST

Few know the ravaging effects of addictions like Mr Paul Dafiakpor who was delivered last Sunday through the Anointing Water at The SCOAN. He told a tale of how the cravings for pornography, masturbation and alcohol plagued his life, robbing him of his privileges in Christ and ruining his career.

His misfortunes all started from a young age. Born in an idol worshipping home, his father had an altar in the house. Although the altar was burnt, true deliverance had not yet come to the household as they would be tormented by nightmares and cruel setbacks. Paul would often find dogs chasing him in his dreams as well as people with weapons threatening him mercilessly.

Although he was plagued with inner torment, on the outside, Paul was trying to live a godly life. He kept his virginity till he was 23, determined to live a holy life for God. This determination was quashed however in a moment as a friend led him to a brothel and his dreams crashed on the rocks of temptation. That night he spent with a prostitute propelled him to continue the habit. Although hating himself for it and bitterly rejecting his actions, Paul continued to visit brothels in an attempt to satisfy an uncontrollable urge.

It was at this point that a friend introduced him to pornography. After watching it once, he was hooked. After buying a pornographic DVD, he would destroy it but later find himself buying another one. He found himself unable to forgive himself and this led to immense frustration, depression and even thoughts of suicide.

A particular incident that occurred in his work place in April, 2010, was etched in his memory. While relaxing during lunch break, Paul was watching pornography on his phone and as a result, he had an erection. Many were gathered there and this caused him extreme embarrassment. Someone who had been well respected and loved now became a subject of mockery and taunting. In anger, he destroyed his phone and bought a less sophisticated phone instead so he would not be able to download. But after some time, the urge became so strong and his physical strength failed him. He bought another smart phone and continued watching pornography.

Affecting him socially, financially and even psychologically, Paul became paranoid, suspecting everyone around him to be talking about him and calling him names. He hated himself and would often hear voices prompting him to end it all. Watching pornography led him to masturbate regularly and he also succumbed to alcohol. In an attempt to erase the misery, he would drink till night and would return home and collapse on the floor without eating or talking to his wife. He lost his job and for two years he remained at home in a state of depression.

Mrs Dafiakpor told her side of the story. Although she knew her husband had become dependent on alcohol, she had no idea he was addicted to pornography and masturbation. All she realised was that her credit on her phone would mysteriously disappear each time she topped it up. She said her husband was a lovely person when in his right mind but his character would often change and he would be very aggressive and despondent. She would feel for him because although he loved food, he would often go for dry fasting seeking for deliverance. She was overjoyed when she saw him on Emmanuel TV being delivered through the Anointing Water.

Since his deliverance, Mr Dafiakpor is no longer watching pornography, masturbating or drinking alcohol. His sleep is peaceful and his mind is at rest. Jesus Christ has erased the pain of the past and his testimony serves as looking back in order to glorify God for all He has accomplished in his life.

He advised that: “Deliverance is the answer. God will not answer your prayer if you are watching pornography because God does not hear sinners. Pornography is dirty. Seek deliverance and allow Jesus Christ to wipe your heart clean”.

People came from all over the world to attend the prayer line and as Prophet Τ.Β. Joshua prayed for them, their afflictions bowed to the supreme authority of the name Jesus. This was followed by the ministration of the Anointing Water to everyone present and each person returned home, fulfilled, blessed and content in Christ.

The Sunday Service of November 16, 2014 was symbolic in many dimensions. The radiation of divine inspiration was so intense that the joyous congregation could not but key into the flowing presence of the hosts of Heaven. The man of God, Prophet T.B. Joshua reiterated the church’s affectionate stance regarding the martyrs of faith who ascended in the tragic incident of September 12, 2014. In an emotion-laden tribute, composed by Prophet T.B. Joshua and featuring Kimmy Skota, the man of God celebrated the martyrs of faith for their transition to eternal glory. Wearing a white scarf with the inscription “IN HONOUR OF THE MARTYRS OF FAITH”, the man of God urged the congregation to remain steadfast in their display of love and concern for the victims and their families: “Remember your duty to the martyrs of faith’s relations and victim’s relations; it will go a long way to bless our future. It is a revelation. Caring and loving the martyr’s of faith and victims’ relations is caring for ourselves. So, it is a blessing. Our caring and love towards the martyrs of faith and victims’ relations will go a long way to care for our future. The love and care towards them will reshape our destiny”.

Exhorting the congregation to be wary of satan’s tricky antics, the man of God also admonished them to maintain an unmovable faith in God as that is the only guarantee to their intimacy with God. According to him, the more they think less of themselves, the more their lives are controlled by God: “It is not about me, it is just about Jesus. If more of Jesus takes over your life, you will have no control of yourself – He will take control of you. Take more of me give me more of You. More of Him will help you to keep your purity. When you keep your purity, your faith increases. When you are able to keep your purity, your faith increases”. He highlighted the importance of the Faith Bracelet and the urgency as well as the enormity of the Christian’s dire need for Jesus: “What makes us Christian? We are Christian because we live, do and act the word. That is what makes us Christians. When you know how much you need Him indeed, your relationship will be strengthened”.

Earlier in a message titled, “Do Something New”, Wise Man Harry had taken the congregation on an intellectual as well as spiritual excursion into the Word. His teaching was multi-dimensionally edifying as it urged Christians to rethink their conservative and monotonous approach to living. According to him, only those who do things differently are guaranteed of different and great results. “If you want to experience something that no one has ever experienced before, you need to do something that no one has ever done before. There is no way we can do something new in our lives without an independent mind. Ezekiel 36:26-27 – “I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you; I will remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh. And I will put my Spirit in you and move you to follow my decrees and be careful to keep my laws”. Many of us today, are mere photocopies. For instance, when you want to dance, you look for the best dancer so that you can copy him. When you want to do business, you move around the market to know the products that are selling most. When you want to pray, you look for the best prayer book, so that you can read the prayer that fits you”. Wise Man Harry observed that most of the mess the world is faced with came as a result of a stereotypical lifestyle in which people just prefer to copy others rather than do things independently. He urged Christians to keep an independent mind if they want to achieve different results and make impact on their generation: “Everyone copies his neighbour. Anyone can be a president but it is God that chooses a president with a difference; I mean, one that becomes a torch bearer. There are many kings and queens today, but only God can raise a king or a queen with a difference. To make a difference in your world, you need an independent mind. An independent mind is a mind that thinks for itself, a mind that is determined to find out the truth from God”. Wise Man Harry concluded by encouraging Christians to rise up to the occasion by thinking independently and position themselves for unprecedented results.

RECONCILED THROUGH A PROPHECY
Two weeks ago during the usual Sunday Service, the man of God prophesied to a man, Mr Marthias Ebule about the trouble he was passing through, including court cases and the need to forgive a particular woman from his past. While beckoning on the man during prophecy time, the man of God told him: “There is a court case. How do you handle it? Three times now it was appealed. You should forgive this woman. There is a controversy issue. It has to with a child. For so long, the child has been fatherless”.

Family Reconciliation

In confirmation of the prophecy by the man of God, Mr Mathias Ebule agreed that he had a court case and that there was a controversy over a child. According to him, the child the man of God was referring to was the product of a relationship he had with a woman in the past. He refused to accept the pregnancy and when the lady delivered the baby, he warned his mother and sister not to have anything to do with the child and her mother, while threatening to disown them. Several years later, he came back to his mother’s house in Bayelsa and saw a child eating rice outside the house. He inquired from his mother who the child was but she refused to tell him; so, he asked the child who called his name as her father. He was angry with his mother because he had warned her earlier not to accept the child. He decided to train the child up, not believing that she was his child but just as someone he wanted to help. As the child stayed in his home, she became very stubborn, causing problems and always running from home. As a sign that the prophecy was meant for his redemption and reconciliation, Mr Mathias under the counsel of the man of God apologised to the woman and her daughter as well as his own wife in order to pave the way for peace and progress.

During the prophecy time in the Sunday Service of November 9, 2014, the man of God prophesied to Mrs Precious Roman about an attack she encountered in a dream where she had an affair with a dog and since then she had been moving with different men. According to the man of God, ever since that attack, she had become insatiable: “You had an encounter with dog in your dream. Since this encounter, you are not content; no man can please you. It is not possible for a man to marry you as a wife. You don’t have choice. The urge is too much, that dog is the cause”.

In confirmation of the prophecy after her deliverance, she narrated how she had left her husband. According to her, she had a fibroid and went to meet her mum for treatment but on her return to Lagos, she couldn’t find her husband. She confirmed that they had been separated for 13 years. But to the glory of God, after the service last Sunday, she received a call, in which the caller identified himself as her ex-husband who left her 13 years ago. He said he had been watching Emmanuel TV and had seen her. The man of God said that he would like to meet them after the service to let them know the mind of God concerning their future relationship. She thanked God for using the man of God to reveal the root cause of her problem. She confessed that since her deliverance, she has been sleeping peacefully like a baby – no more nightmares.

ANOINTING WATER RESCUED MAN FROM DEADLY BANK ROBBERY
A strong believer in the God of T.B. Joshua, Mr Benjamin Ogbodo told the congregation of his daily habit of ministering the Anointing Water over himself, his business and his home before setting off for work. On the fateful day of which he came to testify, he did the same thing he did every morning, not knowing that he was about to see the power of God manifest greatly in his life. Mr Benjamin was going to the main road to meet a customer when armed robbers unleashed an assault on a nearby bank which was transferring money in an armoured vehicle. The bullet fire was like a hailstorm – peppering a policeman and several people around the area but none was closer to the gang men than Mr Benjamin. Hit in his back, he dropped into a gutter yet said he felt no pain and no panic but something spoke to his heart telling him not to move but lie still where he fell. The chaos continued without an intermission and in a flash the robbers mounted on motorbikes made off with the bank’s money and made their getaway. As people began to move around to assess the situation, Mr Benjamin felt strength come into him and he climbed out of the gutter and went his way. However, on seeing him, his friends took him to the hospital with two wounds in his back. At the hospital, the doctors discovered that a bullet had entered deep into his back and that it was too deep for the doctors to operate on. He was given medicine and told that such a bullet would take a long time to come to the surface where they could remove it surgically. He went home and began to minister his Anointing Water in earnest over the affected area and in a matter of days, the bullet came to his skin and was removed. He suffered no internal damage, bruising, bleeding or other injuries thereafter. Smiling broadly at how death had been swallowed up in victory in his life, he told viewers worldwide that they should trust in God alone and as He had rescued him, He would begin to make a way for them as they make God’s Word the standard for their life.

PLANE CRASH IN THE ATLANTIC AVERTED BY ANOINTING WATER
Mrs Aman Alier gave a lively testimony of how God Almighty used the Anointing Water and Anointing Sticker to save her and a Boeing 747 full of people from a fatal crash. During the flight from Atlanta, Georgia in the United States of America on a Delta Airlines flight to Lagos, Nigeria while over the Atlantic Ocean, the vessel ran into serious turbulence which tossed the plane about to and fro to the extent that the pilot not only put the please be seated sign on but also announced to the passengers to hold their children closely, to brace for impact as the aeroplane was in danger. Miss Jacinta Ntumy from Ghana was horrified when after submitting an extensive and elaborate coursework, it returned to her with an ‘F’ grade. This had seriously disappointed her but she drew strength from watching Emmanuel TV that this should not be the end of her studies and that God still had something to say. She came to The SCOAN from Ghana, received the Anointing Water which she ministered on herself and continued to work as hard as she could. God manifested Himself as a God of faithfulness in her life as the final result which was projected as an ‘F’ became a First Class Honours Degree in Linguistics and Psychology in the University of Ghana. She advised that God who had turned her case around would be able to turn around any difficulty in the lives of the viewers all over the world if only we give God time and wait for His Word to speak for us because the Word of God is the final authority, settling all troubles and problems.

Sunday November 23, 2014 was another great day to witness the manifestation of God’s power at the Synagogue, Church Of All Nations. As usual the church auditorium was filled to the brim with all the overflows surging with a multitude of people who came to tap from the flowing glory of God. The choir, with their inspiring renditions created the right atmosphere for the power and presence of God to radiate all corners of the church and beyond.

The man of God, Prophet T.B. Joshua delivered a short but very deep and incisive message, emphasising that the Word of God is unquantifiable and useful for the spiritual growth of man. No matter how small or short, the Word of God can perform wonders. He said that when a ministry is led by the Holy Spirit, the apostolic gifts will be exercised. Indeed, there is no other source of connecting with God other than through the power of faith. And Prophet T.B. Joshua said, “When you have faith, you would see beyond the situation at hand”. He saluted the faith of the congregants, especially foreigners who left their various countries to visit The SCOAN.

Prophet T.B. Joshua in furtherance of exercising the apostolic gifts moved to the Prayer Line where he said he had to go to attend to the sick in fulfilment of the promises of God to His people – “I am the Lord that healeth thee…I sent my Word and healed your disease…”. At the Prayer Line, the man of God laid hands on many sick and afflicted and to the glory of God, they received their healing and deliverance instantly.

Wise Man Christopher had earlier on delved into the scripture to give a very thoughtful message titled God’s Response. Knowing that the entire universe is embroiled in one anarchy or the other, Christians themselves are not free from the unpleasantness of certain ugly and discouraging situations that require God’s intervention. But Wise Man Christopher admonishes Christians not to think that God isn’t there: “God does not delay to take quick action when His children are passing through life threatening situations orchestrated by satan and his agents. And what use would Christ’s victory over satan on the Cross of Calvary be to us – God’s children”?

Citing the story of Shadrach, Meshach and Abed-Nego, he urged the congregation to always hand over their challenges or situations unto God, explaining that, God responds when Christians see their challenges as His: “When Shadrach, Meshach and Abed-Nego were facing hard times orchestrated by satan and his agents, they saw their situation as a mere challenge to God and that was why they did not instruct God which way to go. They simply left all to God and let Him glorify His name. That is, they simply left all to God and let Him respond to their situation. To them, responding to their situation themselves or asking God for specific needs would amount to limiting Him to certain answers. So, they said nothing in defense of themselves but simply left it to God to establish their integrity. God, in whom they trusted, rescued them and truly preserved their lives by a miracle.

GHANAIAN BROADCASTER’S CAREER RECEIVES A BOOST AFTER DELIVERANCE

Mr. Frankie Taylor, a Ghanaian radio presenter, actor and movie producer is back again to testify to what God has continued to do in his life, reminding us that God honours those who honour Him. After 15 years of stagnation, he visited The SCOAN where he and his wife received a prophecy and deliverance at the Prayer Line in the power of the Holy Ghost.

Deaconess Odunayo was plagued by a terrible curse of persistent armed robbery. Anytime she left her house or shop, they would be burgled and her valuable items stolen. This continued for 15 years. Frustrated, she was advised to consult a witchdoctor. Even though she was a deacon in her church, she felt helpless and went to collect a charm for protection. After placing the charm in her house, the problem worsened severely. Armed robbers began coming when she was still present in the house; at one point, they even woke her up in her bedroom and threatened to rape her.

A 14 YEAR-OLD PROSTITUTE DELIVERED

When Deborah was nine years old, her mother, a diplomat in Togo, was offered a position in the United States of America. Once there, Deborah met a girl in school who introduced her to prostitution. At the age of eleven, she had started sleeping with up to four men in a day. When she was twelve, she was given a fake ID by a friend of hers. The fake ID card presented her as a twenty one year-old and allowed her to enter clubs. She also had a violent temper and would fight students and even teachers in school until she drew their blood. In her dreams, she would see herself wearing a crown. Men would appear to her in her dream and the following day, she would see the same men approach her for prostitution. She slept with married men and destroyed their marriages. She slept with men with money and they lost their money. Because of her behaviour, the officials put her in foster care for two years but she continued with the prostitution. As a result, her mother lost her position and the family was sent back to Togo. As a last resort, her mother brought her to The SCOAN for deliverance. Prophet T.B. Joshua prayed for her last week and the evil spirit tormenting her life was exposed and expelled by the light of Jesus Christ. Deborah testifies that since her deliverance, she no longer finds herself in the satanic kingdom in her dreams; she has no desire to sleep with men and regrets her former behaviour towards herself, her family and God.

Sunday November 30, 2014 was a symbolic day as it marked the end of the eleventh month of the year. As such, the Sunday Service at The SCOAN held with all the frills of heavenly joy. The Spirit-filled congregation danced to the melodies emanating from the choir which has always lived up to the musical expectations of the entire church. Their pieces and the energy with which they are rendered touched hearts and created the right mood for the Spirit of God to swing into action. Again, it was another massive turn-out as the congregation, both those within the main church auditorium and those in all the overflows, came in the hope of having an encounter with God.

Delivering a message titled “THE WORD AND THE SPIRIT MUST JOIN”, the man of God Prophet T.B. Joshua highlighted the connection between constant prayer and the fulfilment of our wishes and desires. He explained that the Faith Bracelet was therefore meant to help us cement the unity between the word and our hearts. The man of God also encouraged Christians to meditate on the Word always stressing that it can shape their characters and conducts: “A break in prayer is a break in faith. We are to pray all the time. Faith counts in whatever we do. Are you sleeping or looking? Faith counts.  If the Word dominates your mouth, one day it will pay off. The heart will bring it to fulfilment. We all know when the Word dominates our hearts, it influences our conduct and behaviour. The Faith Bracelet will help you to think about what you read in the Bible”.

According to the man of God, the heart is synonymous with the spirit. This means that the Word will only become very productive if we allow it to germinate on the fertile soils of our hearts. He observed that, the more we allow it to dominate our mouth and hearts, the more it will pay off. Quoting John 6:63 – which says: “It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh profits nothing. The words that I speak to you are spirit, and they are life,” the man of God admonished that failure, refusal or inability to speak from the heart or spirit amounts to nothing: “If the Word is not from your heart and you say, ‘In Jesus’ name’, you are speaking to yourself. You are calling a certain man called Jesus on earth, not Jesus of Nazareth we know”.

Analysing the functions of both the Word and the Spirit, Prophet T.B. Joshua observed that, despite the varying roles they play, both still had to be united or joined to be able to make positive impact on the life of a person. He re-emphasised the role of the Faith Bracelet in ensuring that the joining of the word and spirit for impact is attained: “There are two functions – God’s Word refreshes our mind; God’s Spirit renews our strength. These two must join – the Word and the Spirit. if not, the Word goes nowhere. The Word and the Spirit must join. The Spirit will be released to the degree we stand in reverence or honour of God’s Word. So, what is the function of the Faith Bracelet? To dominate your mouth. When the Word dominates your mouth, one day, it will pay off and dominate your heart”.

On how to read the Holy Bible, the man of God revealed that it has to be done slowly and meditatively, explaining that the Spirit of God is a gentle spirit and therefore is not in a hurry: “You must read your Bible slowly. You may understand the language but it does not mean you understand the Word – because it is not history. You may understand all the grammar, language and idioms as a professor or educated person but that does not mean you know the meaning of what you are reading. Read it slowly first because the Spirit of God is a gentle Spirit. If you want to rush and finish the Bible, you are deceiving yourself. You must read it slowly, attentively and repeatedly”.

And on where to read in the Bible, the man of God taught that it is God that gives direction through the Holy Spirit and as such, Christians are expected to precede their Bible reading with prayer so that they may be given direction: “Many ask, ‘Where should I read in the Bible, as a Christian? Do I start from Genesis, Matthew or Revelation?’ You must first pray before you open your Bible. Pray for God to direct you where to go and where to start. After prayer, you can open your Bible”.

Concluding, the man of God urged Christians to make the most judicious use of the forthcoming New Year as a time to suffuse themselves in the Word of God: “There is no better way to celebrate the upcoming New Year than to have God’s Word in your heart. Christians today don’t have a basic knowledge of God. It’s like a student who did not learn ABC but now wanted to write someone’s name. It can never be possible”.

Earlier on, the service began with a powerful message from Evangelist Evelyn Joshua titled ‘Jesus Christ, The Life Coach’. In the message, Evangelist Evelyn spoke on the need to involve God in each step of one’s journey through life, stressing that when you make Jesus Christ your Boss, you will be connected to the One who created you and thus enjoy His peace, success and contentment.

“Every human has a hunger to know He who created him or her; we all desire to experience God in a unique way,” she stressed. “Until you experience God, there would be dissatisfaction in your life.” She further encouraged the congregants, “If you know that God will rescue you in the future, you will hold steady, trust Him and not listen to the temptation to act out of character.” She concluded by advising everyone to learn from the lifestyle of Jesus Christ – ‘Our Life Coach’.

Stacey woke up once again in a cold sweat. The intensity of the nightmares seemed to be increasing. Dark demonic beings had been a constant nocturnal companion for the young American, ever since she was sexually molested at a tender age.

The tormenting, devilish creatures would abuse her at night, forcefully sleeping with her. The nightmare went beyond the night as growing up under such torment soon rippled into relationship challenges. Mrs Kovvada Jessica, a senior nurse by profession, was in India when she discovered Emmanuel TV on the internet. Her mother, who had fractured her hip in a horrific accident, was on the sickbed at the time for over one year. Strengthened in faith by the miraculous clips she watched on Emmanuel TV, she introduced her mother to the channel and encouraged her to pray along with Prophet T.B. Joshua. MIRACLE BABY AFTER 14 YEARS OF BARRENNESS

“Go and marry another wife”, she tearfully pleaded with her husband. The shame and scorn were simply too much for her to bear. After 14 years of childlessness, Anthonia Udeh was at a point where hope seemed too distant to grasp.

SEX-CHANGE CANCELLED: I AM NOW A GIRL!

“If I was not brought up in a Christian home, I probably would have undergone a sex change,” Jorine Venhuizen, a visitor from Holland explained to The SCOAN congregation.

From a very young age, Jorine felt comfortable moving with males and preferred male-dominated activities and environments. Her continual boyish tendencies were also accompanied by heavy depression and terrible, tormenting nightmares where she was oftentimes stabbed or shot.

The negative thoughts venomously whispering in her heart were so severe that suicide seemed the best option as Jorine felt both confused and condemned. To make matters worse, aggressive acne covered almost the entirety of her face, pushing the young Dutch lady to literally loathe her appearance.

Even after managing to get married, there was no genuine affection or love as it felt more like two males fighting for dominance in the house. After being introduced to The SCOAN, Jorine decided to visit from Holland. Although she received prayer, she kept silent about her secret masculine desires, even after being counselled to confess ‘everything’ before God.

On a subsequent visit, she realised that total deliverance and complete confession went hand-in-hand and openly confessed the real nature of her challenges. After exposing the destructive demon, it had no hiding place and was forcefully revealed when Wise Man Harry prayed for her at the Prayer Line.

After receiving deliverance, everything about Jorine has changed. For the first time in 34 years, she saw herself as a female, began enjoying her marital relationship and saw the painful, itchy acne dry up and disappear within a short period. As Prophet T.B. The Sunday Service on December 7, 2014 at The SCOAN took off on an inspiring note with the choir’s soul-moving deliveries. The man of God, Prophet T.B. Joshua, spoke on The Relationship between the Truth and the Spirit. Using the Book of John 4:24 and 14: 26 as scriptural references, he urged Christians to imbibe the gift of the Spirit which God Himself sent to them to help them in all their endeavours: “‘But the Advocate, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything…’ – how to sit, stand, greet, look in the name of Jesus”. Speaking further, he admonished them to pay more attention to the Spirit rather than to material things of the world observing that since it is the Spirit that creates the materials, clamouring for the material was mere vanity upon vanity: “Why should we worship materials then? Even you are a material. You are the greatest material, the greatest product. The Word of God is a Spirit, creates material things. Why do you believe that by building cathedral for God you are a child of God? Why should you believe that once you are a president of a nation if you enter a church they should give you the best seat? You are a material. Vanity upon vanity all is vanity”.

Concluding, the man of God urged Christians to keep faith in God and believe that He is reliable: “You have seen God working in the Spirit, you have seen things happening, and you have seen the power of God at work. If you have seen that God is reliable, trust Him; that is faith. I want to pray with you. If there is anyone who is still outside faith in God, I restore your faith; let your faith be restored! Begin to trust God. No one can teach you that trust; it just comes naturally, spontaneously. It is natural; you can’t get it or be taught it”.

Earlier in the service, Evangelist Yinka had blessed the hearts of the congregation and viewers worldwide with a message titled, I Plead Guilty in which she reminded us of the need to approach God in humility and simplicity of heart, knowing that God receives repentant souls.

The problem that brought Mrs. Favour Amorro from Rivers, Nigeria to The SCOAN was cancer of the arms. When she got married, her problems started when there was no peace in their marriage and Her frustration led her to go clubbing. One day, a friend she met at the club who had tattoos, convinced her to get tattoos as well in the name of fashion. She agreed and had six done. In a dream, she was told that it was not for fashion but rather her initiation into the kingdom of darkness. She found herself going to oceans, eating strange food and was the victim of different attacks and harassments in her dreams affecting her spiritual and physical life. She returned to the tattoo man to have them removed and he used a chemical to scratch the tattoos off her. However, instead of the tattoos to disappear, each of them became a cancerous wound on her arms. The doctors had no solution to or explanation of the open sores apart from offering drugs and injections. Seeing her sorry plight, a friend advised her to go to The SCOAN to seek the mercy of God. Agreeing, she came and received the Anointing Water which she ministered all over her body immediately. In no time at all, the wounds had been completely healed and the sores covered up.

She no longer has any pain where the wounds were neither is she pursued by the satanic kingdom that had tried to ensnare and destroy her. NO SIGN OF INCURABLE DISEASE AFTER MINISTERING ANOINTING WATER

A few years ago, Mr Paul Kamara fell sick and was taken to hospital. The doctors tested him and said he had Hepatitis B which has no cure. The next place for him was the grave and at 14 years this was a terrifying prospect. He was still so young, had so much to offer and had so much yet to accomplish. He lost concentration and this seriously affected his performance and grades. Mr. Godwin Akanhu from Abia State, Nigeria, received words of prophecy when he and his wife visited The SCOAN. They came due to the loss of their only child after six years of marriage. When their daughter became sick, they took her to many hospitals and even visited a spiritualist. Their daughter was eight months old when she died. In grief, they decided to come to The SCOAN and that was when Prophet T.B. Joshua told them that he saw them in a cage, a revelation which Mr Akanhu immediately confirmed while explaining their woes.

When Mr Tachinda was 10 years old, his grandfather took him to his shrine. He was initiated for one week where he had to swallow the tongue of a chicken every day and bathe in the river as part of the process. He began stealing from his father and often ran away from school but this was only the beginning of the germination of the foul seed which had been planted in his life. He started clubbing and meeting bad gangs who introduced him to taking drugs and how to dupe people (defraud people of money). Advancing in his practises, he got tattoos done as directed by the evil spirits. One was of the mermaid he would sleep with in his dreams; another was a cobra that would appear to him when he was fighting so that no one could defeat him. He also had tattoos of a tiger on his body as well. He saw a tiger physically in his village and in a dream he was told the tiger was his grandfather. After doing this, came the power to command people who would comply without hesitation. He had agents working for him all over the world giving him information to help him steal people’s identities and sell their properties. The agents would provide all he needed including false passports so that people would believe that he was who he said he was.

He become fed up with life however as after everything, he ended up with nothing. On the outside, he would mix with the rich but inside he was empty, constantly tormented in dreams by those whom he had duped. He came to The SCOAN with a plan to get the Anointing Water to enhance his duping career! That was how the Lord Jesus Christ arrested him in the power of the Holy Spirit, delivering him from the evil spirits which had used him to defraud thousands across the globe. Since then, duping is no longer a part of him. He no longer sees the evil woman which had tormented him in his dreams. He publicly renounced the life of stealing, fornication and all fraudulent ways advising all still in the bondage of the evil one to look to Jesus Christ for salvation.

Sunday, 14th December, 2014 was a day that witnessed an outpouring of the Spirit and the Word at the Sunday Service of The Synagogue, Church Of All Nations. The entire congregation both those within the main auditorium and those in the overflows all partook of the presence of Heaven even as the ever-energetic and inspiring choir kept all hearts engaged with God.
According to the man of God, the almighty God is Spirit and therefore must be worshipped in spirit and in truth, otherwise, one is merely wasting his or her energy. In other words, there must be a deliberate and passionate longing within the spirit and heart of man for God whenever he worships his or her Creator. It means that, God looks beyond the words we speak but focuses more on the depth of our hearts and spirit: “If I stand here to preach the Word, if it is not according to God’s Spirit, it is nothing. Whatever I say in prayer, if it is not according to God’s Spirit, it is nothing. If you speak words in prayer, if it is not according to the Spirit, it is not according to the truth of God’s Word. It means it is nothing, idle and meaningless”.
Speaking further, the man of God explained that the power of God moves only when the Word and the Spirit unite. “God’s power here cannot move without the Word and the Spirit to bring about healing. You need God’s Word and God’s Spirit to bring about healing, salvation and whatever we are talking about. God’s power working through His Word and His Spirit brings about whatever we desire from God”.
Meditating on the Word of God, according to the man of God, is another way of becoming a part of the Word so that our spirits act on it for the release of God’s power: “The more you think about the Word you read, the more your spirit acts upon the Word and when the spirit acts upon the Word, the Word becomes part of you. The Word has not yet become a part of you when your spirit has not yet acted upon it”. On the mystery of faith, the man of God said that we can only find faith when we pay attention to God and not by stressing ourselves, sleeping in the church or doing other things: “Now, you don’t need to cry or lament over faith, that you don’t have faith. How will you have faith? I need to sleep in the church; I need to sleep in the bush. No. If you pay attention to God, you will find that faith comes naturally”.
Concluding, Prophet T.B. Joshua encouraged Christians on the need to guard their hearts, observing that the heart is the communication contact point with the Holy Spirit, hence, we have to be on our guard to ensure that we do not lose the battle which is fought in the heart: “The right battle is in the heart. When you fail in your heart, you fail all. Your heart is Heaven, if you are a child of God. What you decree here has been decreed in your heart, if you are a child of God. Before I say, “Be healed”, the person has been healed in my heart. If I don’t see the person healed, I will not open my mouth to say, “Be healed”… The bank of miracles is in Heaven. Take care of your heart. It is either your heart is Heaven or hell. When your heart is a dwelling place for God, it becomes Heaven”.

EVANGELIST RUTH

Earlier, Evangelist Ruth in her message titled, Love God Above All, said that many of us today think we can earn God’s favour by our good works however Christianity is not a religion but a relationship. She further explained that God will not heal, bless or deliver you because of who you are or where you have come from; He will only meet you when you obey what He told you to do by His Spirit, based on His Word. She encouraged Christians by assuring them that there is hope and that the greatest miracle we need is a relationship with Jesus. She said: “Jesus is neither looking at our credentials nor personal efforts but our hearts. To love God truly is to do His will, not our own. Before giving him the commission to follow in His footsteps, Jesus asked Peter one of the most significant and penetrating, in fact, one of the most dangerous questions ever asked, ‘Do you love me?’ He did this because He knew that serving the Lord is a thing of the mind. The highest motive for serving God is the desire to please Him. There were perhaps many more qualified than Peter – more educated, more knowledgeable, more experienced – yet Jesus saw in Peter a willing servant – one who would obey His instruction. Obedience is the only proof of our faith in God”.

YOKE OF MISCARRIAGE BROKEN
A family of doctors, Dr and Dr Mrs Benjamin Akhihwu, found themselves facing the unimaginable – they were unable to enlarge their family as a result of their medically unsolvable problem of miscarriages. For eight years, at the 20th week of every pregnancy, Dr Mrs Akihwu would have a nightmare which would result in miscarriage. Doctors examined her and found her womb was too weak to have another child. She went for an operation and almost died due to a terrible mistake.

They decided to come to The SCOAN and received the Anointing Water and soon after ministering it in prayer, Dr Mrs Akihwu became pregnant. During her 15th month of pregnancy, she began to see Prophet T.B. Joshua in her dreams, praying for and reassuring her. In her 20th month, the normal attack came but this time, God used the image of Prophet T.B. Joshua defeat the evil spirit in her dream.
Overjoyed to have overcome, she went to the US for her delivery. Holding her newborn bouncing baby boy in her arms for the first time, she was given the alarming news that the baby had jaundice. Never flinching, she took her Anointing Water, ministered it to her baby in prayer and laid him down to sleep. In the morning, her baby awoke completely healed and free from jaundice. The proud parents named the baby Christopher, calling him God’s gift to them. To date, they continue to minister the Anointing Water over their family in prayer, as well as in their clinic to those who would believe. Advising all parents around the world, Dr and Dr Mrs Akihwu encouraged them to hold fast to Jesus Christ, the Giver of all life.

Imagine working for 10 years in the same profession without any advancement, facing mockery from fellow colleagues as they advance and you stand still. Such was the case for Mrs Batho Rampana, a nurse from Botswana.

To the shock of everyone, the Ministry of Health called her back after the interview and appointed her as Chief Nursing Superintendent. She was later equally appointed as matron for 18 facilities in her country. Her life has changed as she now attends meetings and seminars with top officials in her profession as well as dignitaries and government officials in her country. She advised all to put their trust in God as He alone makes impossibilities possible.
WEAK HEART VALVE RESTRORED THROUGH THE ANOINTING WATER
After a recurrent experience of shortness of breath and general body weakness, Ms Freda Agana from Ghana visited the doctor and was deeply troubled when diagnosed with a weak heart valve and stomach ulcer. The condition greatly affected her job, as every two weeks, she was forced to go back to the hospital for treatment. Her

MIRACULOUS CONCEPTION AND BIRTH WITHOUT FALLOPIAN TUBES THROUGH ANOINTING WATER
Mrs Patrick had been rejoicing in the joys of pregnancy in 2002 when a sudden difficulty threatened to change her countenance. Complications arose and she was diagnosed with an ectopic pregnancy. An emergency operation was undertaken and a ruptured fallopian tube had to be cut. Her one year old marriage faced great challenges in the following years. They were able to deliver one child successfully but an ectopic pregnancy developed five years after, rupturing her fallopian tube.
As a minister of God, her husband, Pastor Patrick prayed and hoped on God for an answer. One day, he was introduced to The SCOAN where he received the Anointing Water. He prayed and ministered it on his wife in Jesus’ name. Just a few months later, his wife became pregnant. To his amazement and that of the doctors who had performed his wife’s operations, the baby grew to nine months and was delivered safely, despite the absence of fallopian tubes!

Pastor Patrick gladly showed the medical reports. The first one stated that both fallopian tubes had been cut off; the second stated that his wife was 7 months pregnant! Mrs Patrick was short of words as she exclaimed, “The Lord has restored what was lost through this child He has given me. Don’t lose hope; the Lord shall also identify you through the Anointing Water in Jesus’ name”.
DAUGHTER DELIVERED FROM DESTRUCTION
As Prince Wilson, a Nigerian based in South Africa watched his young daughter grow; he noticed several strange behaviours and addictions take hold of her. She first started eating sand and then sniffing petrol. The occurrences became frequent and then constant and he and his wife were at a loss as to how to help their child break those habits. Their sweet, innocent baby also became aggressive to other children of her age and began to hate her parents.

Joshua and an amazing deliverance was wrought in her life in Jesus’ name. As the prophet prayed, the evil spirit confessed that it was a queen from the river, sent to destroy the family and their future. It was cast out by the name of Jesus Christ and the prophet introduced the little girl to her father as a new child in Christ Jesus.
Prince Wilson returned to South Africa with his daughter after the prayer and a new chapter in their lives unfolded. Testifying in the church, Prince Wilson joyfully explained how the addictions have been broken, the anger has been swallowed up by peace and hatred destroyed by the love of God. His daughter behaves completely like a normal child and even helps to take care of her younger ones. There is now peace in the family and his career and status have even taken a new turn. He happily showed off photos of his family, encouraging every parent to train their children in the way of the Lord and run to Him with every challenge and concern. He is truly God, our Father.

The atmosphere was festive and hearts full of hope as those in the auditorium and the overflows of The SCOAN joined together to worship Jesus Christ – the centre of Christmas! Prophet T.B. Joshua enlightened the congregation about the importance of worshipping God in Spirit and truth: “God is Spirit and His worshippers must do so in Spirit and in truth. I promise you that the best Christmas gift is to take you back to God because we have not been worshipping God in Spirit and if it is not in Spirit, it is not in truth and so it is all nothing.” He further explained the transformative power of the Word of God, saying, “If God’s Word is Spirit, it means it has ability to quicken us spiritually, animate us spiritually – to give new blood and take out the old one. Since God’s Word is Spirit, it has the ability to develop a spiritual force within our hearts called faith. In that Book of John 6:63, it says, ‘My Word is Spirit and life’. That thing called faith is developed within our heart.”

Encouraging his listeners that faith comes naturally when we focus on God, he said: “You will agree with me that if you pay attention to God’s Word, you will spontaneously have faith, naturally have faith. If it is natural, it means you don’t need greater faith but a greater God. You just need to know His faithfulness and trustworthiness. What we are lacking is not greater faith but a greater God.”

Earlier, the church had been blessed and strengthened by a message from Evangelist Bolaji, titled, “Keep Your Solid Front.”

She said, “Many change their perspective about their Creator when things around them tend to go contrary to their expectations. The believers in the first century church faced intense opposition, rejection and even violent persecution but they never allowed their situation to derail them from their focus on God. They kept up the profession of their faith even in the face of overwhelming odds against them.” Inspiring the congregation and viewers to stand firm in trials, she said, “Don’t give up – keep your solid front. In time of troubles, don’t give up; keep your solid front for it is written that trials cannot impair you but improve you.”

She concluded her message by emphasizing that we should never doubt our position as children of God: “Never doubt your salvation because of challenges, I mean your situation. Once you become a Christian, satan can never snatch you away from God. He will try but he will not succeed for the Lord has given an overcoming victory to every person who is born again.”

During the course of the service, many came forward to acknowledge God as their Healer, Saviour and Deliverer which inspired the faith of all who heard them. Here are some of them:

FIRST FEMALE SENIOR SUPERINTENDENT OF POLICE…

As a commissioner of police for years without promotion, Mrs Edang Priscilla was facing disappointment in her career as she regularly watched her male counterparts receiving promotion while she looked on, frustrated and depressed. Desperate, she looked to God and decided to journey to The SCOAN for divine intervention.  She received the Anointing Water and was filled with hope and faith that her fortunes would change.

Surely, God was faithful and she was granted a double promotion and today is the first female Senior Superintendent of Police in her country of Cameroon.

She joyfully displayed the photographs before the congregation of the glorious day where she was promoted and given this large responsibility. She advised the viewers: “Trust in God – He reigns; He reigned in my situation and He will reign in your life, in Jesus’ name!’

Her husband, Pastor Wilson Ndzoke added to the testimony as he explained that a while ago, they decided to apply for a visa to travel to the USA. Before getting to the US Embassy, guided by God, he placed the Anointing Sticker on his forehead and prayed that the will of God be done. When called for the forward visa interview, the lady who conducted the interview and was known to be notorious for declining visas surprisingly gave them a one year visa for the USA, with no questions asked! His advice concerning the Anointing Water and Anointing Sticker was “Those who have it carry the anointing of God with them”.

Chief and Mrs Anthony Agalivie from Delta, Nigeria came to The SCOAN with their baby to thank God for breaking the yoke of 12 years of barrenness in their lives.

They came to The SCOAN – The Arena Of Liberty in May 2013, where Chief Anthony Agalivie was delivered from a spiritual wife and they also received the Anointing Water.  Upon their return, her period was so heavy and she felt discouraged but her husband reassured her saying, “Don’t forget where you are coming from; the God of Prophet T.B. Joshua is cleansing you”. Together, they ministered the Anointing Water in Jesus’ name and met as husband and wife.  Soon after, she had a dream in which she saw a little girl who introduced herself as an angel of God sent to deliver them. When she woke up, she knew that her testimony was on its way. The following month, she became pregnant and on her birthday, she was given the best gift – she gave birth safely to her son, Samuel!

Her husband, Chief Anthony Agalivie explained that prior to his deliverance from a spiritual wife, his life was messed up by the devil. Each night, a demonic woman would visit him and taunt him that he would never be a father. Determined to receive his freedom, they came to The SCOAN, and to the glory of God, he received his deliverance. After that they continued meditating on the Word of God, believing for the miracle child. After God answered their prayer, he explained that he felt butterflies in his stomach as he was so joyful to be a father – at last!

GRANTED CONTRACT FOR 1^ST DIVISION CLUB THROUGH EMMANUEL TV!

Blessing Eleke received a powerful breakthrough praying along with Prophet T.B. Joshua on Emmanuel TV. As a talented professional football striker, he played fantastically well in Lagos but when he headed to Europe for a breakthrough in his career, he suddenly developed setback.

His football skills dwindled and his sponsors threatened to send him back to Nigeria as he was rejected from many European clubs.

When they told him they would give them one last try, his brother, also a footballer back in Lagos recommended Emmanuel TV to him, saying that he should watch it. MY SPERM COUNT RETURNED TO NORMAL THROUGH THE ANOINTING WATER!

Pastor Peter Osikhuemhe was diagnosed to have low sperm count and this news landed him in depression. Unable to become a father, he was always sad seeing his friends who married at the same time as him with their own children. Friends tried to persuade his wife to seek alternative solution by visiting herbalists but she refused, believing that one day, God would answer them.

The Sunday Service of December 28, 2014 was superlative in every sense. The merry ambience of the Christmas celebrations coupled with the respectable presence of the families of the Martyrs of Faith, all the way from South Africa, gave the occasion all the trappings of Godly joy expressed in a sober reflection. Though they have lost their loved ones, the families of the Martyrs of Faith have keyed into the realisation that their loved ones did not die in vain but were transited to higher glory to enjoy the eternity of life in all its splendour and purity. Indeed, they have freed their spirits and hearts from the inconsequential attachments of this material world and have attuned themselves to that heavenly frequency that avails much to the spirit of man.
In consonance with the sobriety and depth of the atmosphere, the man of God, Prophet T.B. Joshua pungently identified with them through his deep and incisive message centred on the nature of the human spirit and its connection with the Spirit of God: “When your spirit is free, it is sensitive to the Spirit of God. There are three spirits – the Spirit of God, your spirit and evil spirit. I am referring to your spirit. When it is free, it is sensitive; it is alive to the Spirit of God”.

Speaking further, Prophet T.B. Joshua delved into the instrumentality of the spirit of man in unleashing the power of God to every situation that Christians may encounter. He urged Christians to exercise the inestimable power within the spirit to tackle every situation: “Our spirit is our instrument. What kind of instrument is it? It is an instrument to loose and bind. It is an instrument to act upon the Word. When the Word becomes a part of you, it becomes an instrument to loose and bind. When your spirit is free, it acts upon the Word”. He went philosophical with his delivery on the imperative essence of trials and tribulations to the attainment of eventual glory. The congregation, especially the families of the Martyrs of Faith, were told that a hard time to the Christian was akin to the soil upon which faith flourishes.

Concluding, the man of God prepared the minds of the congregants for the approaching New Year with prophetic precision and gave an allegorical analogy of the beauty and priceless essence of their lives: “Preparation for the next year. I want to be the first person to greet you good morning. The best life for the seeds and plants is very early morning when you find the dew. That is your life”.

MASS PRAYER focused on our dire need of mercy and on the breaking of all hindrances and bad habits standing between us and God: “By grace, you deserve His mercy. Somebody in the person of Jesus is waiting to see you through whatever life brings. Whatever hindrance, between your heart and the Spirit of Father, I remove it in the name of Jesus. That weakness/ bad habit/ addiction – I remove them in the name of Jesus. Come out, in the name of Jesus!”

Earlier, Evangelist Fanny had delivered a didactic message titled WE ARE IN THE LAST DAYS. This apocalyptic admonition came timely when the entire world was about crossing into a new year. She was full of counsels to Christians to explore the newness of the year in reconnecting and re-dedicating their lives to God rather than to the pursuit of pecuniary and worldly fancies: “What makes the year new is when you see that sober reflection in that transition as an opportunity to get back to God. I mean, you need to worship Him in Spirit and in truth. We are in perilous times, end times where as a Christian, what God’s Word says should be final. Jesus’ return should be uppermost in our minds”.

Dissecting the passion and energy with which Jesus attended to the needs of others, she counseled Christians to emulate the life and demeanours of Jesus through whom our salvation was made possible on the cross of Calvary: “Jesus was Water to the thirsty, Bread to the hungry and a Roadmap to the lost. Are you following the footstep of your Father? “Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be filled. Blessed are the merciful, for they will be shown mercy. Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God.” (Matthew 5:1-8).

In her concluding remarks, she advised Christians to embrace the principle of selflessness in their relations with others just as Christ did in order to stand a chance of being counted worthy to stand pure before the almighty God in these last days.

LIFTED FROM POVERTY UNTO BUSINESS BOOM
Mr. Frank Gogo from Ghana was reduced to a pauper as he lacked almost everything apart from his life which was hanging on the trenches of frustration and lack. He was homeless and resorted to drinking, smoking and “chilling out” with bad gangs, thinking that God had abandoned him. His pitiable fate continued until the day God led him to The SCOAN. When he came to The SCOAN, he had no dime with him but was fortunate to receive the Anointing Sticker with which he prayed in faith for breakthrough and soon returned to his native Ghana. By the time he got to Ghana, things began to take a dramatic turn. He was able to register his agro-allied company and witnessed a business boom. During this time, he was able to acquire two state-of-the-art cars and a big truck for his company. After some time, he was able to buy 22 acres of land and now has 2 branches of his company in Ghana where he sells agrochemical products. He has since abandoned his past life of heavy drinking and smoking, having discovered a new life in Christ Jesus. He has been uplifted from poverty to wealth through the power of God. His community has also named him as the next King. He advises Christians to draw nearer to God in order to have their testimonies restored.
SCHOLARSHIP ONCE DENIED NOW GRANTED
Miss Astridah Lupupa from Zambia had applied for a scholarship to study Teaching in Malaysia but got disappointing news after two weeks. She then mustered the faith to give it another try. This time around being the second time, she had so much faith in the Anointing Water as a point of contact for God’s intervention. She ministered the Anointing Water on herself and all the documents involved prior to the interview. Within two hours after the interview, she was greeted with joyous news that she had been granted a scholarship worth $12,600. She is scheduled to fly to Malaysia on January 4th, 2015.
FROM FAILURE TO FIRST CLASS
Mr. Frank Karikari was the victim of spiritual attacks which negatively affected his academic pursuits. He would find himself walking naked in his dreams, eating all sorts of things and being chased by animals. These attacks hampered his concentration and resulted in his inability to get the result he had envisaged in his HND studies in Mechanical Engineering. He ended up obtaining a Lower Credit and became very sad with himself. Even though he started working, he was not satisfied with the state of things. He started watching Emmanuel TV and began to pray along with Prophet T.B. Joshua. He received a scholarship from his company to study Mechanical Engineering but while in the university, precisely in the second semester, the attacks increased but he was not willing to give up. A friend ministered the Anointing Water into his bottle of water which he then ministered on himself with faith that all setbacks would go for good. True to his expectation, he regained himself and continued to study without distraction. He also got his own Anointing Water. The turning point came through a dream in which he saw himself at the Prayer Line at The SCOAN being prayed for by Prophet T.B. Joshua. He felt something like an electric shock and woke up and since then, that affliction through dreams has stopped. He started concentrating well and ended up with a First Class Honours from the University of Mines and Technology, Tarkwa, Ghana. He advises Christians to make God the centre of their lives so that they can become what He had destined them to be.
A BLESSING IN DISGUISE
Mr. Eric Kwasi Danquah was addicted to alcohol for ten years. He graduated from a mild drinker to a heavy drinker who could not do without liquor. His condition became very sad when he made drinking his partner in life. He would drink in the morning, in the afternoon and at night. He spent so much on drinking that he hardly sent money to his mother. To show the extent of damage drinking can cause, the man who introduced him to alcohol died and yet, he was unperturbed. He kept on playing slave to his craving.
One day, at a party, he had asked for alcohol but the lady who was the celebrant told him she was a Christian and would not allow alcohol in her party. He got very disappointed and uneasy as he usually did whenever he was in a party that forbade drinking alcohol. Somehow, they exchanged their contacts and the lady invited him to church. He was initially reluctant thinking that it was his mother who was the family’s problem and really needed deliverance.
However, the lady was able to make arrangements for him to come to The SCOAN with his mother. At The SCOAN, the man of God, Prophet T.B Joshua walked straight to him and prayed for him. He found himself rolling on the ground. By the time he got up, he felt some relief. After his deliverance, he stopped drinking and no longer had the desire to do so. The ironic twist to the whole story is that the same lady who took him to church became his wife. She told the story of how she had organised a thanksgiving party after coming to The SCOAN for deliverance from years of marital disappointment. Unknown to her, her husband to be was the despondent alcoholic she had met and discussed the idea of coming to church with. According to her, she thanks God for the life of Eric, who is now transformed through her effort to help someone in need. Today, they are happily married to the glory of God. Eric advises the youth to stay away from alcohol.
JOBLESS BARRISTER RECEIVES UNEXPECTED EMPLOYMENT
Ten years after she had been called to the bar, Barrister Omolola Olaitan was jobless. It was a great embarrassment for someone of her educational standing. In May, 2014, she had visited The SCOAN and received the Anointing Water. Four weeks later, she received a car gift from a friend. While hoping on God for an employment, she would dress up as if she was going to work even though she knew she had nowhere to go. She continued acting her breakthrough and watching Emmanuel TV until it eventually came. In November, she dreamt that the man of God, Prophet T.B. Joshua came to her and told her to prepare her CV for a job that she would receive. By the time she woke up, she decided to obey the instruction given to her in the dream. She went to a business centre to photocopy her CV and while there, she received a call for an employment. Today, she works as the Legal Research Assistant at the Kwara State Judiciary. She presented her employment letter and advised Christians not to give up on God no matter the situation.
17-YEAR-OLD CHAPTER OF BARRENNESS CLOSED
Mr. and Mrs. Nghixulifwa came all the way from Namibia in search of solution to their barrenness. While the man suffered from a very low sperm count, the wife had been diagnosed with polycystic ovaries. The problem took them to many places in search of solution; they spent so much money and found none to be of help. They came to the SCOAN in faith having been inspired by the fact that Mrs. Nghixulifwa’s cousin who had a similar problem received her healing there. After meeting with the man of God and explaining their situation, they received the Anointing Water which they ministered on their return to Namibia. To God be the glory, Mrs. Nghixulifwa became pregnant and is today blessed with a baby girl. They advise people to keep faith in God and wait for His own time.

GIVING TO THE FAMILIES OF THE MARTYRS OF FAITH BRINGS BREAKTHROUGH
Shakhile Naanyane from South Africa obeyed Prophet T.B. Joshua’s instruction to show love to the families of the martyrs of faith. Before now, she had been suffering business setbacks and decided to close her shop while waiting for God’s direction. Her husband had given her some capital for a new business and from that capital she took some money to buy groceries for the families of the martyrs of faith. Since she did that, she has witnessed an upward swing in her business fortunes such that she was able to make up to R150, 000 [$13,000] in a franchise deal with King’s Pie within one month. She was awarded the ‘Best Business Plan’ award at a convention on entrepreneurship. She advises people to obey the instructions of Prophet T.B. Joshua and they will be blessed in whatever they do.

FRACTURED BONES HEALED
Mrs. Maria Ogbu fractured her tibia and fibula bones in an accident and came to The SCOAN for healing. According to her husband, Mr. John Ogbu, her situation was really terrible as she could not do anything. She was privileged to be at the Prayer Line where the man of God laid hands on her. As the man of God laid hands on her, she felt the bones coming together and stood up to walk at the command of the man of God in the name of Jesus. Husband and wife glorified God for the healing.

YOUR OWN TESTIMONY IS ON THE WAY IF YOU CAN HAVE FAITH. EMMANUEL!

From the Candle Light Service of 31^st December, 2014 to the Sunday Service of 4^th January, 2015, the atmosphere at The SCOAN has been spiritually intense. While the entire congregation, just like the whole world, awaited the successful cross-over into a new year, it was a great suspense of sorts. Though, we all started the journey from the very first day of 2014, not all of us have been fortunate to see the end of the year or even witness the advent of a new year. Yet, all glory and honour must be given to the Most High God who in all His omniscience, knows best.

The anointed message and instruction coming from the mouth of God to those present in the church and the myriad of viewers worldwide for the New Year was the simple Word: Good Morning. The man of God explained, “You are a plant. You need dew because you are dry. Your business needs dew, your health needs dew and your career needs dew. Dew is in the morning. Joy comes in the morning. Say Good morning my health! Good morning my business! Good morning my career! Good morning to nations, continents, the whole world – Good Morning to you all. This year you shall continue to live in the morning. When people greet you ‘Good afternoon,’ greet them ‘Good morning’. When people greet you ‘Good evening’ or ‘Good night,’ greet them ‘Good morning’. This Word is anointed for you.”

Being the last day of the year, the man of God, Prophet T.B. Joshua talked about DISCOVERING YOUR REAL VALUE, a message that was very timely bearing in mind the imperative significance of living within the scope of our God-given destinies. Until a person discovers him or herself, he or she will continue to wallow in ignorance and failure, without achieving God’s purpose for his/her life. The man of God had earlier told the congregation that the purity of heart was a prerequisite for expecting a trouble-free new year: “If you are expecting a new year, you must be pure in heart if not 2014; I mean the troubled year 2014 will continue in 2015. To get rid of the trouble, for you to overcome the trouble, is not a thing of the flesh. You need deliverance to overcome the trouble”.

Speaking further on the same message at the Sunday Service of 4^th January, 2015, the man of God expatiated on the essence of discovering one’s real value. According to him, our real value resides in our spirit and our willingness to surrender it to the ways of God. We cannot operate within our real values of spiritual power and authority if we allow the distractions of life take the greater part of us: “The real thing about us is our spirit. If our real thing is our spirit, our attention should be more on the spirit. You can either yield yourself to God or the devil because you are a free moral agent. God has given us discretion. I cannot just force you to get healed; I need your faith to do so. There is so much distraction. That is why we have this for you and there is an anointed word for you: Take more of me, give me more of you. The more you think about what you read, the more your spirit acts on the Word. Meditation brings revelation”. Each and every person present was given the New Anointing Sticker inscribed with the New Year message: Brethren, Good morning as a point of contact to help them open the New Year with prayer.

In conclusion, the man of God enlightened the congregation on the therapeutic dimensions of water, stressing that the spiritual and the physical must work in tandem. He explained in details how early morning intake of water helps flush the system of unwanted waste and cleanses the human body. It was a very instructive moment and the gains remain innumerable.

He moved to the Prayer Line to minister healing, deliverance and restoration to the teeming crowd that have been waiting for God’s hand upon their lives.

Earlier, Evangelist Olamide had engaged the minds of the congregation with her deeply edifying message – YOUR SITUATION AS A CHRISTIAN. She vividly captured the Christian life in its most realistic nature, observing that living the Christian life was not a bed of roses but one full of trials and temptations. She urged the congregation to be of good cheer even in times of trials because they are the elements that make victory worth the while when it eventually comes: “In our spiritual walk with the Lord, we have good times and hard times; a time to enjoy and a time for restraint. A time to be born, a time to grow, a time to die, a time to face persecution, a time to overcome and a time to show the proceeds of victory. A man without a situation is a man without a future. The journey to the throne is not a bed of roses but of thorns, hardship, snakes which points us to trouble and problems”. Evangelist Olamide went further to cite numerous biblical examples of God’s servants like Joseph, Moses and Daniel who faced one tribulation and the other yet the glory of God was manifested and magnified in their situations. God would always allow us to face trials just as He allowed the devil to tempt Job. Our attitude to the trial is what pushes God into restoring us even unto greater levels than we envisage.

Concluding, she urged Christians to brace up in the midst of trials and seek God’s directions no matter how hard the situation may be, stressing that whatever God says is the ultimate: “No matter how hard your situation may seem, when God manifest His strength in your weakness, you will overcome. For when you are weak then you are strong. So whatever situation you may be in, find out what is God saying through that situation because what God says is the answer. To walk with the Lord in all situations is to ask Him for direction. To ask the Lord for direction is to open our eyes of faith so that we can see the higher hand that is leading us to salvation”.

FROM BANKRUPTCY TO MILLIONS

“Mr Maphoto, we need to talk” the voice on the phone was both grim and harsh. “We have no choice but to terminate your existing contracts.” It was a message every businessman feared most – bankruptcy.

Penniless and verging on hopeless, the young South African man was at a crossroads. Courageously deciding to turn his cares into prayers, he sought the face of God after his fledgling business inexplicably nosedived to the point of financial ruin. Resolving to visit The SCOAN in Nigeria for divine intervention, he was privileged to receive the Anointing Water during his stay within the church. Upon returning to South Africa, he ministered it on a prospective business proposal he had mustered a miniscule amount to begin. Favour flowed. Several months later, an eight million rand contract was in his pocket and his fortunes had completely reversed.

“The blood that Jesus shed on the Cross of Calvary 2000 years ago still works today,” Mr Maphoto told the congregation at The SCOAN. “God is working through the Anointing Water mightily!”

MY LIFE CHANGED AFTER I VISITED THE FAMILIES OF THE MARTYRS OF FAITH

Frantic. Hectic. Manic. Johanna Matli’s work schedule in the radio and television industry left little time for her family, let alone her relationship with God. As her work levels rose, so did her stress and blood pressure. The result was her health dwindling dramatically, ending in two partial strokes and a medical diagnosis of hypertensive heart disease.

Taking medicine daily and a familiar face at the local clinic for blood pressure checks, her entire life forcibly revolved around her health challenges which kept worsening. As a viewer of Emmanuel TV, when Johanna heard Prophet T.B. Joshua’s instruction to visit the families of the Martyrs Of Faith, she considered her schedule and reluctantly concluded she could not find the time to engage in such.

However, the repeated call from Prophet T.B. Joshua to care for them continually bombarded her heart to the point where the South African decided to make some sacrifices. She visited the family members of the Martyrs Of Faith, believing by faith that obedience to this Divine instruction would work wonders in her life. After her first visit, while engaging in her regular clinical check-up, Johanna got the shock of her life!

“Madam, your blood pressure has reduced from 220/ 170 to 130/90,” the surprised doctor informed her. “What did you do?” Holding up her medical reports confirming her miraculous healing before The SCOAN congregation, Mrs Matli testified that her health had transformed and her priorities shifted toward Heavenly things by her obedience to this instruction. “It is a wonderful thing to create time to help others,” she concluded. “Please, make sure you obey Prophet T.B. Joshua’s instructions in righteousness.”

SPIRIT OF DOG DISGRACED!

“There is a lady here with the spirit of a dog,” the prophecy rang forth. Totanang’s heart skipped a beat. Prophet T.B. Joshua was talking to her. Taking a step forward from her seat towards the altar of The SCOAN, she suddenly lost all consciousness of the following sequence of events. It was only when a clip of her deliverance was replayed that she saw herself barking and gesticulating like a dog as the evil spirit within her was exposed by the prophecy and subsequent prayer.

Rising up after the deliverance, Totanang’s life never remained the same! Upon returning to Botswana, the spirit of anger that had ruined her relationships and rendered her jobless stopped. Her journeys from sangomas to spiritualists ended and a renewed desire to serve God and pursue her education was born. To her greatest surprise, as she continued to minister the Anointing Water, after five years of joblessness, Mrs. Kebopelwang was offered a job in the Botswana Telecommunications Corporation, a position she never even applied for. The job enabled her to finish her studies abroad in Swaziland – something she had never dreamed was a possibility prior to her deliverance. Her word of advice was concise: “Whenever you receive the Anointing Water, minister it in faith – that is the only way it can work in your life!”

OBEY GOD’S INSTRUCTIONS – YOUR DESTINY WILL BE RESHAPED!

Fervency welled within her heart. As Prophet T.B. Joshua encouraged viewers around the world to reach out to the relatives of the martyrs of faith, Mrs Chidraas could barely sit still. The desire to respond in faith to his instruction superseded the barriers posed by her geographical location as she determinedly drove over three hours to Johannesburg to meet with the Emmanuel TV team the following day.

Both her and her daughter Koketso joined the teams extending love and care to the affected family members, giving sacrificially in the process. God’s blessings soon manifested in the life of Koketso. As a student in Scotland, UK, her passport was inexplicably held when she was due to return to South Africa for the December holidays. At the same period, her mother had a dream where she saw Prophet T.B. Joshua asking her what she wanted from God.
“I knelt down and prayed that God would release the passport of my daughter. Four days later, her passport was released! To our surprise, it was not just a student visa that she got but a residence permit in the UK,” she joyfully testified! Aside from this unique blessing, Koketso was further given the opportunity to partake in an exchange program with a student in USA – a feat the school had previously termed impossible due to her mother’s stay in South Africa.

“Act upon the instructions of Prophet T.B. Joshua and definitely, your destiny will be reshaped,” were her final words of advice.

FROM SCHOOL TEACHER TO SENIOR LECTURER!

After 18 years of teaching in a small Zambian school with paltry pay and dingy, dirty classrooms, poverty and squalor still surrounded Elizabeth. Never in her wildest dreams did the middle-aged Zambian envisage the ladder of success she was about to dramatically and emphatically scale after being introduced to The SCOAN!

Upon praying along with Prophet T.B. Joshua during a period of mass prayer, the first breakthrough miraculously manifested. Mrs. Kampamba was surprisingly chosen to be a Deputy Head Teacher in another Zambian school. This was rapidly followed by promotion to the position of School Inspector across the entire country! Receiving the Anointing Water at this point following a visit to The SCOAN, Elizabeth was content with the astounding breakthrough she had enjoyed and was preparing to retire since she neared the statutory age of 55. Before now she had trekked to work; she became financially secure enough to be able to purchase a brand new car! However, God was not finished yet!

An interview for the post of a senior lecturer in English at an international university in Zambia came forward and Elizabeth was one of 15 candidates considered. Several months later, Mrs. Kampamba received her retirement letter at 10am. Five hours later, another letter came through informing that she had been appointed to the post of senior lecturer! Truly, better is not good enough; the best is always yet to come!

POSITIONED FOR MERCY AND FAVOUR

“I was working like an elephant but eating like an ant.” Mrs. Zwane’s situation was dire and depressing. A single mother with three children to bring up, the revenue from her job disappeared as soon as it arrived as mounting responsibilities and burdens ate up her money at ease.

She was living in a small flat with her children when someone brought her the Anointing Water, encouraging her to minister it in faith. Being an ardent viewer of Emmanuel TV, Dikeledi took no time to use the Anointing Water, praying in faith that she would be positioned for God’s mercy and favour. Indeed, she was divinely positioned!

Several months later, blessing after blessing followed favour after favour. Mrs. Zwane is now the owner of a brand new car, lives in an exotic holiday house in an affluent area of Johannesburg and enjoys not only financial security but has more than enough for her and her children! KIDNEY STONES ANNIHILATED THROUGH THE ANOINTING WATER

Mr. Mejang Reneck from Cameroon came to The SCOAN with the problem of kidney stones. He always experienced chronic pain in his side as a result of this affliction. He received the Anointing Water and after ministering it in the name of Jesus Christ, he was completely healed. Now, he can exercise, play football and has returned to normal life – pain free! He brought two documents, showing when he was diagnosed with the kidney stones and after the ministration of the Anointing Water, when he returned to the hospital. He no longer has any trace of the kidney stones. He advised the world to believe in the God they serve and that if they put their trust in God, He is able to manifest Himself in their lives again and again.

ASTHMA ATTACKS ABOLISHED

Siyabonga Mlewa was born into the bondage of asthma, which was a burden that weighed heavily on his life and that of his mother. When the attacks came, his chest would become tight and his lungs would start to close. The doctors said there was no cure and that he would have to use a breathing machine, known as a nebulizer for the rest of his life. The nebulizer became a part of his everyday routine, having to take it with him wherever he would go. At school he was limited and unable to participate in sporting activities. At home, his mother would take care of him keeping a watchful eye on her son’s bad health. His mother had to regularly leave her job when attacks came at any interval.

After eleven years of sickness and struggle, Mrs Mlewa managed to bring her son to The SCOAN believing God’s divine intervention. They came and Siyabonga received prayer from Wise Man Racine at The SCOAN Prayer Line, where he demonstrated how he would use the nebulizer. In moments of receiving prayer in Jesus’ name Siyabonga thanked God for being healed. Today, three years later and some feet taller, Siyabonga came back to thank God for his complete freedom from the asthma formerly deemed incurable. Life has improved for both him and his mother whose joy cannot be quantified.

REMARKABLE RECONCILIATION

“I bought a cutlass and told my wife to kill me…” It had got that serious. Nehemiah’s tumultuous marriage disintegrated to the point where death appeared more meaningful than life. The heated internal turmoil reached boiling point when Nehemiah’s wife decided to leave him, taking their four children along with her. Four years passed. Four years without any communication, let alone the thought of reconciliation.

Increasingly frustrated in life and business, Nehemiah one day decided to visit The SCOAN, hoping for a Word that would change the course of his life. In the midst of the service, Prophet T.B. Joshua prophesied to him, revealing the root of his marital challenges lay in the amorous affairs he engaged in with a friend called Henry during his university days. Prophet T.B. Joshua ended his message to Nehemiah with a surprising, divinely inspired declaration – “Your wife will call you; you will come back with your testimony.” Wife? Testimony? The two words didn’t seem to compute within Nehemiah’s jaded reasoning.

Several weeks later, however, Nehemiah’s phone rang. It was his long-lost wife! Without any knowledge of the prophetic word, she was suddenly moved to call him and seek reconciliation, requesting forgiveness on her own part. The family were remarkably reconciled and returned to The SCOAN to testify that when God speaks, His Word will not return void of fulfillment.

All glory belongs to the Lord for He has ordered all so that the whole shall appear to be of grace. There is no room for any man’s boasting in their own ability or power for it is not our logic, philosophy or reasoning that brings these happenings to pass but the living Word of God. The verve and cheerful aura radiated by worshippers depicted how precious they all hold The SCOAN Live Sunday Service in their hearts. The atmosphere was fresh as the ever-vibrant choir edified the congregants in the auditorium and overflow congregations with their edifying renditions, brimming with heavenly zest.

Evangelist Annette’s message was deep and incisive, like a precious seed sown into fertile soil. Titled AT THE LORD’S FEET, the message highlighted the nature of man in relation with his or her ability to make the right choices, bearing in mind the fact that God even gave His only begotten Son for our salvation as Christians. Have we made the most of that divine privilege? She urged Christians to make the wisest decision of establishing an intimate relationship with Jesus Christ: “When God created man, He gave him the right to life. Within that right was discretion. In other words, Jesus Christ gave man a mind and the ability to choose between right and wrong. In life, man is given the freedom to choose from the many alternatives that surround him. What choice have you made concerning Jesus Christ? Have you chosen to make Him your Lord and personal Saviour or otherwise? Life’s biggest decision is what you do with Jesus Christ”.

Evangelist Annette further shed light on the vanity of human wishes, attractions and aspirations. She observed that the material fancies and attractions of the world are not worth living for, compared to the everlasting joy and glory inherent in a life dedicated to the service of God: “Today, many make the world their heart’s delight. Many embrace the world desperate to be satisfied by it. But what we need is in God’s Word. No matter how many years you work or strive trying to acquire wealth – the best car, beautiful house, children; you can never be satisfied by them. Satisfaction is not about having children, money or other worldly possessions; you have to experience God. Until you experience God, there will be dissatisfaction – a sense of hunger to know what life is all about, a desire to know what happens after life is over”.

FAVOURED IN THE MIDST OF THE MULTITUDE
, who graduated with a degree in Electrical Engineering, had applied for many jobs but was told that he lacked the necessary experience as an Engineer. Due to the high unemployment rate, he constantly met with disappointment and this gave him frustration. Having visited The SCOAN, he ministered the Anointing Water in Jesus’ name and soon after applied online for a government position as an Engineer. He travelled to Abuja and among 7,000 people, to his greatest surprise and joy, he was selected for the job! Standing before the congregation, he happily displayed the letter of employment.

Advising people about the Anointing Water, he said, “It will put you at an advantage. It will locate you at the place of your destiny”.

DELIVERED AND PROMOTED

As if eight years of career stagnation was not bad enough,  was also tormented with a never-ending addiction to alcohol, smoking and womanizing. While his colleagues received their due promotions as time went by, it was a different story for Sergeant Leonard Ekeh who drowned his frustration in ceaseless drinking, smoking and chasing different women. One day, his father introduced him to Emmanuel TV and gave him a bottle of Anointing Water. These changed his life forever.

He ministered the Anointing Water and prayed in Jesus’ name and truly, things took a turn for the better. He experienced deliverance and suddenly realized that he no longer felt the desire to smoke, drink or chase women.  He was also asked to go on a peacekeeping mission in Dafur, South Sudan and it was there that his promotion happened! Among all his colleagues, he was the only one promoted to the position of Staff Sergeant. Advising Christians, he said: “No matter the circumstances, believe in God. The best is yet to come”.

PROMOTED AND DELIVERED FROM ADDICTION

in Nigeria faced shameful stagnation for seven years. Each term, after writing the normal exams for promotion, he would be greatly disappointed as his colleagues would receive promotion but he would remain at the same level year after year. On top of this crisis, he also found himself increasingly addicted to smoking cigarettes. He started smoking individual cigarettes then moved on to packs of cigarettes and then rolls of cigarettes each day. He was constantly discouraged.

Then one day his sister brought Anointing Water to him from The SCOAN. He prayed in the name of Jesus that God should break every chain holding him back from his divine life and destiny. He them ministered the Anointing Water on the answer sheets for his next exam. At night, after completing the exam, he had a dream in which Prophet T.B. Joshua called him and told him to go and collect his promotion letter. He woke up and shared the news with his family, who immediately gave thanks to God for the breakthrough. When he arrived at work, his boss called and told him he had been promoted from Senior Inspector of Immigration to Principle Inspector of Immigration.

Along with the promotion was his deliverance from the strong addiction to cigarette smoking. Today, he is promoted and free from cigarette to the glory of God!

HEALED OF HERNIA IN JESUS’ NAME

Fourteen days after they had their baby boy,  discovered that their bundle of joy had developed a swelling on his scrotum. They took him to the hospital where the doctor diagnosed the problem as a hernia. Mrs Okeke was able to get an empty bottle of Anointing Water, refilled it with pure water and prayed in Jesus’ name. After her prayer, she ministered the Anointing Water on him and saw that the swelling was moving from his scrotum to his stomach. He later excreted and went into a deep sleep.  She checked his excreta and discovered her baby had passed out a black stone. She noticed that the symptoms he was usually having stopped and that motivated her to take him to the hospital for a test where, to the amazement of the doctors, it was confirmed that the hernia was gone and the baby had a normal pelvic scan. Mr Okeke was elated and gave glory to God for delivering their baby. They advised to Christians to trust in God and believe that whatever the man of God, Prophet T.B. Joshua has blessed, is anointed for breakthrough.

SICKLE CELL SHATTERED 

Imagine a child who could not play with his friends; a student who could not attend school. Such was the case of Emmanuel Okoro who was born with Sickle Cell Anaemia. His life consisted of falling sick, being rushed to the hospital, receiving treatment and blood, only to return home with the same weakness and lifeless limbs. His case was so severe that he could not attend classes regularly due to the extreme fatigue. When at school, he found it difficult to concentrate and impossible to play with other children. One beautiful morning, his family brought him to The SCOAN and he received prayer from Prophet T.B. Joshua.

Little did he imagine that just one prayer would bring a radical transformation to his life. When they returned to their home in Delta, Nigeria, the family immediately saw drastic changes in their son. His energy suddenly returned and did abate. He was able to bathe himself that night and started playing with friends outside. When it was time for school, he got up and got ready by himself. The days passed and he realized he had not missed any day of school and had not had to visit the hospital. Believing that their miracle had come, the family took their son back to the hospital for a test and was delighted to receive a result that showed negative to Sickle Cell Anaemia. Their son was finally free, in Jesus’ name. The Okoros advised all parents to rush their children to God whenever they face family challenges so that He will see them through.

LANCE CORPORAL RECEIVES HEALING

Mutiu, a soldier in the Nigerian Army found himself in a terrible accident in Enugu, Nigeria in which he fractured his tibia and fibula. He was rushed to a hospital and from then on he could not walk. He was confined to a pair of crutches. His wife was practically doing everything for him. In the military hospital where he was being treated, he would watch Emmanuel TV and his faith grew. He decided to come to The SCOAN Prayer Line and he was prayed for by Prophet TB. Joshua. Since then, he is able to walk and has gone back to his job as a soldier in the Nigerian Army. Mrs Adejumo, wife to Corporal Mutiu Adejumo whose joy knew no bounds, shared her harrowing experience saying, “…It became a burden to me because I had to do everything for him but I thank Jesus for healing him and now things are back to normal”.

OLD TESTAMENT WATER THERAPY TESTIMONIES 

from Akwa-Ibom, Nigeria, a 70 year-old Central Bank of Nigeria pensioner, shared her joy at the transformation in her life after following the instruction in righteousness of the Water Therapy. She used to experience pain in her joints, internal heat and would wake up every day tired and stiff but after the water therapy, all became a thing of the past. Now she is able to move freely like a young woman! She can sleep at night peacefully and no longer suffers from internal heat. WATER THERAPY WASHES AWAY SEVERE SINUSITIS IN 68 YEAR OLD WOMAN

Mrs. Stella Obiah, 68 years old suffered from severe sinusitis for many years. She was no longer able to breathe through her nose but was breathing through her mouth. She complained that dust and different particles carried through the air always entered her passages and caused her pain and irritation. This was the life she was living in her old age as a result of the sinusitis. After the man of God introduced the Water Therapy, she said that she and the other members of the Old Testament Group discussed and agreed that this was the way forward for their lives. As a grandmother, she realized she had a responsibility to be a good example and began taking the Water Therapy for herself and her family. As she began drinking the water, she realized her breathing passages became clear. She no longer had to breathe through her mouth but began breathing normally through her nose. She is now free from sinusitis and advised all to keep to the instruction in righteousness from God’s servant as it is truly the secret to good health.

After the breathtaking testimonies, prophetic messages were delivered by Prophet T.B. Joshua to individuals, revealing the root cause of their problems and providing solution in Jesus’ name. The Sunday Service of January 18, 2015 at The SCOAN was remarkable in many ways. The atmosphere was divinely electric and as usual the congregation was lively and animated by the pervading expectation of receiving something from Heaven. The uplifting renditions of the choir prepared the minds of worshippers for the deep exhortation that was to follow.
The man of God, Prophet T.B. Joshua, delivered a double-pronged encouragement. One had material but very significant undertones while the other was a scriptural injunction that will always benefit those who walk in the ways of God. Advising people about WATER THERAPY, the man of God highlighted the quintessential nature of water to the life of man. According to the man of God, water is the only drink that has no disadvantages. “There is nothing you drink apart from water that does not have disadvantages. Everything has advantages and disadvantages. There is no man’s natural gift – there is none that does not have disadvantage. It is only God that gives without disadvantage”. This noble quality of water emanated from its therapeutic nature and capacity to act as a cleanser. Water helps flush the system of unwanted waste and equally helps in the regulation of body temperature. Water plays many vital roles in safeguarding the human health and therefore becomes one of the most infallible gifts from God to mankind.

Speaking about GIVING, the man of God delved into the indestructible spiritual essence of giving. However, the man of God explained that in giving, the giver must do so with a pure heart. He/she must give from the heart. It is only on that basis that what is being given becomes useful and capable of attracting blessings from God: “If you give something from your heart, it will bless you that gave it and it will also bless the person you are giving to. If you give something that is not from your heart, you that gave it have nothing to gain and the person you gave it to will receive a curse. If you give something from your heart, you will receive a double portion of what you give. If you give your own time, strength from your heart, double portion of it you will receive. When you get back home and there are possessions that you are not using, sell those things and share them to the poor, see how the Lord will bless you. Sell those possessions and set up a charity and the finger of God will begin to fight for you”.

Concluding, the man of God frowned against money-mongering in its totality, stating that anyone who is looking for money should seek direction from God: “When you are looking for money, you should also look for direction, what sort of money am I looking for?”

On her own part, Evangelist Kemi, whose message preceded that of the man of God, spoke on the topic BE A PROBLEM SOLVER. According to her, bearing in mind our roles as witnesses to the world, all Christians should make it a top priority to affect lives positively, especially now that we live in a troubled world where the magnitude of problems has since attained alarming ramifications: “Be a problem solver. We are witnessing to a troubled world. Life is full of challenges. Life is a struggle. Our Lord Jesus Christ wants us to be compassionate; I mean problem solvers. In the world that cares less, we should care more”.

Speaking on the essential nature of Christian life, Evangelist Kemi posited that love is the hallmark of our relationship with others, hence, the Christian must extend love to others just as God gave His only begotten Son to us for the redemption of our sins: “Our position in Christ Jesus is enhanced each time we help someone in trouble. We are called to build our lives around our contribution to one another, ultimately, we are called to respond to all human needs, for that is what love entails. How many lives have you improved? There is no love that does not express itself by giving”.

Echoing the lyrical undertones of the popular Emmanuel TV song YOU ARE A SOLUTION written by Prophet T.B. Joshua and performed by Emmanuel Singers, Evangelist Kemi admonished Christians to remain united in love and realise that we live our lives for one another, carrying one another’s burdens: “I am a solution to your problem, just as you are to mine, in other words, I am because you are and you are because I am. There are many people on the sickbed in the hospitals around you, go there, visit them and show them your love and compassion. Who knows – that may be that is all needed for their recovery. Pray with them and pray for them, by doing this, you are not only helping to solve someone else’s problem, you may discover who you are thereby.”

In a final coda, Evangelist Kemi made a clarion call on Christians to remain focused in the bid to make positive impact on the world around them: “Adopting a lifestyle that is on purpose provides an opportunity to enrich others by leaving your imprint in a positive way”.

During Mass Prayer, the man of God prayed along with the congregation as he led them to command the light of God into their lives. He commanded all immoral spirits out in Jesus’ name. He also enjoined viewers all over the world to act in faith by praying along with him for their salvation through Christ Jesus: “Let there be light in my health, eyes, ears, throat, tongue, nose, mouth, in Jesus’ name! Every spirit of addiction, immorality, fornication, lust, begin to command them out, in the name of Jesus Christ! Every spirit from your past that is hindering your present and your future, command them out, in Jesus Christ’s name! Viewers, whatever medium you are using to view us, right now, be connected in the name of Jesus.”

TESTIMONIES
At The SCOAN, God continually fills the hearts of His children with joy and their mouths with laughter. He puts new songs on their lips to demonstrate the endlessness of His grace. He has wiped away their tears with His mighty hands and has restored them to their glory through Christ Jesus. The following testimonies prove that He is not far from you. FAMILY CURSE OF SICKLE CELL ANAEMIA BROKEN!
Mrs. Abela Baronga Kamara from Tanzania was diagnosed with sickle cell anaemia at 20 years of age. She had four children and all of them had the problem of sickle cell anaemia. Due to this problem, she spent all of her time in the hospital because it was either she fell sick or one of her children would fell sick.

Her son, Ericson was constantly visiting hospitals instead of attending school and as a result, he was coming last in his class. After ministering the Anointing Water in Jesus’ name, he was healed of sickle cell anaemia and went from last place to first in his class. They went to the hospital and conducted a test and to their surprise he was negative to sickle cell anaemia. Equally Mrs. Abela also had a test done after ministering the Anointing Water and she was declared free of sickle cell anaemia. They had used a lot of injections and medications every day and spent a lot of money but all that is now a thing of the past. Medical reports were shown as evidence of their healing. Ericson and his mother are now happy that they are healed and gave thanks to Jesus Christ with a song during The SCOAN live Sunday service.
They advised Christians to be problem solvers. “The more you share, the more God will bless you”.

BELGIUM POLITICIAN LIBERATED AND RESTORED TO GLORY
Mr. Christopher Oliha, a Nigerian living in Belgium is a politician in Belgium. He was elected in 2006 as a Councillor. He has contested for Senate and Parliament and other public offices in Belgium. He is well known in Belgian politics. Suddenly, everything started collapsing. He lost his job as a Councillor; his mum died and he suffered an addiction of smoking marijuana for 36 years. He thought he needed to smoke it to speak in public and give lectures. In addition to this, the addiction to smoking marijuana made him very aggressive and affected his relationship with people. He would drive long hours travelling to neighbouring countries just to get marijuana to smoke. His friends nicknamed him ‘marijuana’. He would buy it in cartons and store them in his house.

He came to The SCOAN and received the Anointing Water and ministered it on himself in Jesus’ name and received his deliverance. When he went to his country, his friend who was also addicted visited him and asked if he could bring some marijuana for him and to his surprise, he realized that he had not smoked it for many weeks and there was no craving for it. After the Anointing Water delivered him from the addiction to smoking marijuana, things began to go well in his life. 25 years ago, he had tried to stop, but he fell ill for 2 weeks and went back to the addiction and it became worse. A few weeks later, the chairman of his party called and said the person in the position of Councillor had resigned and the other two candidates who were supposed to fill the post declined and he was automatically re-elected as a Councillor. He advised Christians to seek God’s help because He is reachable anywhere, adding that, “God that did it for me will do it in your lives in Jesus’ name.”

HEALED AND REVIVED TO VICTORY
Setback and hardship were the order of the day for Mr. Richard Robert from Tanzania. He had a sad story to tell anytime people asked him of his wellbeing. Firstly, his chemical business was almost on the rocks with no profit in sight. And as if that was not enough, he became afflicted with a debilitating sickness – lumbar spondylosis. Excruciating pain limited him to his bed for two years. He could not even stand up, let alone carry out his business activities efficiently. His two children were crying every day for their father. It was not only seeing him in pain that made them cry; their academic prospects also looked bleak as he was not in a position to provide for them. They wanted to go to university and pursue their education overseas. All this became a distant dream and faint hope.

When the road became roughest and he had almost run out of rope, he grabbed onto faith and made a trip to The SCOAN. Privileged to receive the Anointing Water and Sticker, he claimed by faith that he would be healed and be able to get two cars! On getting back to Tanzania, it was as if he was a different person living a different life entirely. His business began to boom and within a short period, he was not only able to purchase two cars but four! The pain in his back vanished and he was able to do everything with strength and vigour. Now, he has purchased three plots of land and is building a family house. His son is studying Petroleum Engineering in Canada and his daughter is doing a degree in World Trade in China. The victory in Christ Jesus he has received is victory indeed. The rest is history!

HEALED OF SPIRITUAL FOOD POISONING, LIVER AND KIDNEY DAMAGE
Prince Ayodele Ojo Arimoro suffered from serious evil attacks for two years in which he would eat continuously in his dreams. It got to the extent that if he tried to resist, it was as if someone would force the food into his mouth. The problem worsened as time went on. During the day, he would doze off in his office and be fed in his dreams. Physically, the problem affected his health. He began experiencing severe pain in his body and his system systematically broke down. When he went to the toilet, he would defecate pure blood and even the doctors were worried because his blood count was reducing. He began watching Emmanuel TV and one day, he had a dream where Prophet T.B. Joshua came to him and laid hands on his head and he vomited three fresh leaves. Prophet T.B. Joshua then said, “It is over”. When he woke up from the dream, he was convinced that his healing laid in Jesus Christ, so he came to The SCOAN.

He came to The SCOAN with the problem of severe liver and kidney damage. When Prophet T.B. Joshua laid hands on him, he lost consciousness for a moment. The next second, he realized that his body felt lighter and he immediately went to the toilet. He passed out faeces with clots of blood and he knew within him that the sickness was over. Before the prayer, he could not stand or walk by himself because he was so weak. People had to assist him with everything, even with going to the toilet and bathing. But now, his strength has been totally restored and his health has been captured for the glory of God. The nightly food has become a thing of the past and his dreams are now of breakthrough, success and victory.

Advising Christians, he observed “Your solution lies in Christ only. I spent huge amounts of money in herbal and ritual homes without solution but freely, I received my complete healing and deliverance at The SCOAN”.

RIDING THE WAVE OF PROMOTION IN A BRAND NEW CAR
“My joy knows no bounds” – this was the beaming confession of Inspector Osamede Egtharevba of the Lagos State Police Command as she proudly stood at The SCOAN auditorium to share her testimony. This had not always been the case though. Instead of joy, sadness and bitterness had plagued her days. The last five years seemed like a lifetime as each day she met frustration and setback in her career. She watched many who had joined the force after her and had less experience climb the ladder of promotion without any effort while she painstakingly remained on step one. Her husband was equally saddened at the stagnant state of his wife’s career. He discovered Emmanuel TV and introduced her to it in hope and faith for a new dawn in their lives. Although, unsure at first, Mrs. Egtharevba followed in her husband’s footsteps and one day, they came to The SCOAN.

As she received the Anointing Water, she felt a weight lifted from her shoulders. With faith rising, she ministered it on herself and believed in the faithfulness and trustworthiness of God. By faith, she put the new rank on her uniform believing her promotion was around the corner. True to her faith, she was called to the police station and received a promotion which was backdated. She chose a small car but the friend immediately replaced it with a big expensive car stating that she deserved the best. Unable to contain her tears of joy, Inspector Osamede proudly showed off her promotion photos and her brand new car!

I COULD WALK FOR THE FIRST TIME IN SIX MONTHS!
A boisterous basketball career nipped in the bud by a burdening injury. At the tender age of 17, Jesse faced an enormous setback in his sporting pursuits after a stress fracture in his left tibia left hopes practically in tatters. Specialist doctors in America frowned upon inspection, informing the young Sudanese-American that a surgical operation was required and further cautioning him that a full recovery was not guaranteed. Jesse Ganun could not place any weight whatsoever on his left leg and was forced to move around with a pair of crutches. For six months, his bed became both a daily and nocturnal companion.

As an avid Emmanuel TV viewer, he resolved with his mum to make the long journey from America to Nigeria to visit The SCOAN for prayer. Arriving on Sunday morning, Jesse was among the thousands of congregants who were privileged to receive the Anointing Water alongside the recently introduced ‘Good Morning’ Anointing Sticker. That night, in their hotel room, Jesse ministered the Anointing Water to his affected leg. In that miraculous instant, the pain disappeared! On Sunday 25th January 2015, the atmosphere in The SCOAN reverberated with echoes of edifying anthems from the Emmanuel Singers who encouraged the congregation with soul-lifting songs. As indicated by the attentive yet participatory inclination of the entire congregation, the songs from the Emmanuel Singers served as forerunner to the moment of exhortation when the mind must be fed with spiritual food for thought.

Evangelist Catherine delivered a thought-provoking message titled DIG DEEP; FIGHT IT THROUGH. She captured the dynamics of the Christian race in uncertain and perilous times and put it in perspective from collective and individual angles. Citing the life of Apostle Paul as a typical example, she encouraged Christians to remain of good cheer in the face of all the trials and challenges that are part of life.

“In Romans 7:15, Apostle Paul said, ‘I do not understand what I do. For what I want to do I do not do, but what I hate I do.’ But despite the predicament he found himself in, he did not stop, he did not give up, he did not allow his weakness to pull him down or tear him apart; he continued to run the race, to fight the good fight and he kept his faith. Our God – powerful and faithful to His faithful ones – raised him to such an extent that we still look to and learn from Paul as one of the greatest apostles that ever lived”.

Explaining the concept DIG DEEP, Evangelist Catherine uncovered hidden facts about appearance, packaging and deception. Just like the popular advertising lingo “appearance is not reality”, she urged Christians not to judge things based on their face value or appearance because appearance could be deceptive. Sometimes, blessings are disguised as troubles and vice-versa. There are generous biblical exemplifications of this fact. The fig tree that Jesus cursed in the Bible appeared fruitful from face value but was actually full of leaves and fruitless.

Hence, according to Evangelist Catherine, the true Christian must be meticulous in his or her judgement by being thorough in analysing scenarios. When times are hard, our tears and complaints are not the solution. Instead, our ability to dig deep and discern the lessons inherent in such experiences is most important. Using the experience of Moses and the Israelites in Egypt, she encouraged Christians to dig deep for the voice of God in all circumstances rather than allow themselves to be distracted by the extraneous voices of their circumstances.

“Moses dug deep within him and heard the One who had sent him instructing him what to do. It is not difficult to act when you know God is speaking to you. Because Moses’ heart was deeply engaged with God, he was familiar with His voice, so when God spoke, Moses listened and obeyed what God told him to do. That voice on the inside was greater than the noise on the outside and following God’s instruction, the sea was parted in two and the Israelites with Moses safely walked through”.

Bemoaning the panicky and defeatist attitudes of most Christians in the face of trouble, Evangelist Catherine counselled the congregation to seek direction from the throne of grace rather than cling to the promptings of the human thinking and flesh. “When trouble comes, many run to the strong arm of institutions, medicine or flesh but according to God’s Word, we are to run to the throne of grace as a chosen people, a royal priesthood, God’s special possession called out of darkness into God’s glorious light to praise His holy name”.

According to Evangelist Catherine, every human being is shaped by the predominant thoughts he or she continually harbours. In other words, we are what we think. It is on this basis that she counselled Christians to think like champions and conquerors which they really are and look up to God in times of trouble believing strongly that He is able to see them through whatever life throws at them.

“I want you to think differently, talk differently, look differently, behave differently – knowing that Someone stronger, smarter, more powerful than you is for you, not against you, is fighting just for you and is more powerful than the combined forces of earth and hell. He wants to see you through whatever life brings. Whether the goings are good or tough and unpredictable, He wants to see you through – if only you give God a chance to prove it”.

TESTIMONIES
God’s Word will never return to Him void without accomplishing that which it is sent to accomplish and the songs of praise and thanksgiving will never depart from His house. The following testimonies proclaim the wonderful works God is doing at The SCOAN through His anointed servant Prophet T.B. Joshua. Just believe and you too shall a partaker of His glory!

During the Saturday Prayer Line service, Prophet T.B. Joshua introduced the eagerly awaited, ‘Morning Water’, ministering it to several people in the prayer line who came with severe afflictions. The results were extraordinary as with just a spray, sickness bowed the knee to the name of Jesus Christ and evil spirits behind infirmities were forced to get out. The following day, several of those who were ministered to with the Morning Water returned to share their triumphant testimonies!

MORNING WATER RESTORES INJURED BACK
Mr Kalu Kalu was in agony. Literally, each movement was accompanied by searing and shooting pain that made even a mere attempt to walk hellish. An accident in April 2014 left a fracture in his vertebrae compounded by a disc compression. His job in the civil service was threatened as he could no longer perform any of his duties due to the debilitating condition. A surgical operation was recommended by doctors but Mr. Kalu’s faith rested on God’s power.

Sitting down watching Emmanuel TV last week, he was amazed to discover The SCOAN Saturday Prayer Line service would hold the following week. By God’s grace, he made the difficult, painful journey to Lagos and was arranged at the Prayer Line. Prophet T.B. Joshua ministered the Morning Water upon Mr. Kalu’s hands, telling him to place them on any part of his body which was in pain. He rubbed the Morning Water upon his back and suddenly rose to his feet! “It was as if something came out of me and the pain just disappeared,” Mr. Kalu told the congregation. For the first time in eight long months, he was able to walk by himself. Returning home that night, he slept peacefully without pain for the very first time since his accident! Indeed, Mr. Kalu was able to genuinely greet his health ‘Good Morning!’

‘WITH MORNING WATER, MY PAIN DISAPPEARED’
The dawn had awoken. Mr. Victor Aghedo stirred from his sleep. He tried to get out of bed but his legs remained immobile. Attempting to sit up, a wave of pain hit him. It was agonizing. Unable to get up from the bed, Victor desperately beckoned on his wife. That was the beginning of two long months characterized by constant pain. He literally relied on his wife for everything – even to go to the toilet! Several medical tests could not ascertain exactly what had happened to Mr. Aghedo but the facts remained the same – he could not walk.

Painfully struggling to make his way to The SCOAN accompanied by his wife, Victor sat at the Prayer Line and pleaded with God for mercy as Prophet T.B. Joshua approached. Moved upon seeing his plight, Prophet T.B. Joshua gave the Morning Water to Mr Victor’s wife and told her to minister it to him. ‘But I am not a pastor,’ she internally questioned. She poured the Morning Water into her husband’s mouth twice. Suddenly, the man who had been practically bed-bound for the last two months jumped to his feet with the athleticism of a young man! “The pain just disappeared,” Mr. Aghedo joyfully testified to The SCOAN congregation. He advised them to believe nothing is impossible with God’s power, stating that he personally drove to the church the following morning and walked by himself into the auditorium to authenticate the mightiness of the miracle he received! Thank You, Jesus Christ!

MORNING WATER AWAKENS PARALYSED LIMBS
The numbing paralysis continued creeping slowly across her entire body. What began with heaviness and weakness in her lower limbs soon deteriorated into full-blown paralysis for Miss Milla Yvonne, a young Cameroonian. Her educational aspirations were blighted by the onset of the ailment which doctors concluded was due to spinal degeneration. As her condition worsened, Milla’s faith strengthened as she courageously decided to make Emmanuel TV a constant companion and believe God for healing.

When it was announced that The SCOAN Saturday Service had returned, Milla, joined by her brother and mother, decided to make the difficult journey from Cameroon. Braving all the odds against them, including language barrier, they made it to The SCOAN for the Prayer Line service. Milla was seated in a vehicle when Prophet T.B. Joshua approached. He called for Milla’s brother to come forward and ministered the Morning Water on his hands before telling him to minister it to his sick sister. As he followed the instruction in righteousness and Milla received the Morning Water, her limbs which had been numb and lifeless suddenly began to shake! The resurrection power of God pulsated through her entire body and suddenly, Milla rose up and began to walk! Her mother and brother fell to the floor in an emotional display of appreciation to God as Milla began walking and even started to run!

“I SLEPT PEACEFULLY FOR THE FIRST TIME IN 8 YEARS…”
For eight years, Mr. Prelati Luciano had an unusual nocturnal companion – a machine. After being diagnosed with a rare form of sleep apnea which was extremely dangerous, doctors prescribed a breathing machine, informing the Italian that he would have to use this machine every night for the rest of his life. Despite the use of the machine, Mr. Luciano would awake with irritability and restlessness. His breathing was both heavy and painful due to the condition.

Despite his skepticism, he accompanied his Nigerian wife to The SCOAN in Lagos to attend the Prayer Line together. By God’s grace, the very week they arrived in Nigeria was the time God spoke to Prophet T.B. Joshua to release the Morning Water. As he ministered the Morning Water to Mr. Luciano, he began to stagger, clearly under the influence of God’s power. Immediately afterwards, he testified that he could breathe freely without any hindrance. However, the full extent of the miracle was only to be revealed later that night. Taking a bold step of faith, Mr. Luciano decided to sleep without using the breathing machine. To the glory of God, he slept peacefully and awoke the following morning without the usual tiredness and tetchiness. “The Morning Water is very powerful,” were the Italian’s final words to viewers!

WOMAN WITHOUT FALLOPIAN TUBES DELIVERS MIRACLE CHILD
Mrs. Mariam Onwuche was facing a dilemma which seemed impossible to overcome when viewed with natural eyes. She and her husband were desperate for children but after two ectopic pregnancies ending in operations, both of her fallopian tubes had been surgically removed. Depressed and distraught, the medical authorities reluctantly informed the couple that it was impossible for them to ever have children.

However, a ray of hope shone upon their hearts as they discovered Emmanuel TV. Listening to Prophet T.B. Joshua and seeing the works of God rekindled their faith that with God all things are still possible. They watched the 2013/2014 Candlelight service with the man of God, Prophet T.B. Joshua and joined him in prayer as they entered the New Year. Then, the miracle happened. That night after the prayer, Mrs. Onwuche had a dream in which Prophet T.B. Joshua came to her and told her not to worry as she would soon have her child and come to give her testimony. After meeting with her husband, a short time later, she became pregnant and true to the vision she had had, she came to The SCOAN to testify of the pregnancy.

Tears of joy etched the lines of her cheeks as she proudly stood with her husband and family to testify with their beautiful baby girl, Miracle Onwuche. She encouraged all others who had desire in their hearts to experience God’s power that distance is not a barrier. All they should do is believe, touch the screen by faith and get ready to come and share their own testimony of transformation.

KING ACKNOWLEDGES THE KING OF KINGS
A king? Godwin Nwaobu thought his community was playing a joke! The South-African based businessman had just returned to Enugu State when the unusual proposal of kingship was laid before him. Knowing the entanglements attached to such a position, Godwin decided not to respond immediately to the request, telling his kinsmen that he needed a year to ‘hear from God’ before taking a decision. ‘God? Where will you hear from God?’ many irreverently scoffed. Several months down the line with the deadline of his decision nearing, Godwin had yet to make up his mind. Confused and perplexed, he decided to visit a place where he knew God’s voice was clearly being spoken – The SCOAN.

Sitting down during the Monday Prophetic service, Mr. Nwaobu made an unusual vow. ‘If Prophet T.B. Joshua does not speak to me today, I will forget about this title.’ A short time later, as Prophet T.B. Joshua was prophesying in the midst of the congregation, he walked up to him. “I am seeing beads on your hand,” Prophet T.B. Joshua revealed. There were no visible beads to be seen and the two had never met themselves previously nor had Godwin revealed his dilemma to anyone. God had spoken. Confirmation from Heaven had been unveiled. Today, HRH Igwe Godwin Nwaobu of the Ugwuleshi Community in Enugu, Nigeria stood to testify that no word from God is void of fulfillment!

The SCOAN Sunday service of February 1, 2015 was power-packed with inspiring messages, teachings and divine visitation. The SCOAN choir, with their passionate and energetic renditions, lit up the entire atmosphere and created the spirit-filled environment for God’s power to work at its peak.

With his message titled

WHAT YOU HAVE TO CONSIDER IN PRAYER, the man of God, Prophet T.B. Joshua x-rayed the workings of the heart of man in relation to the spiritual act of praying. He put the message in perspective using a scriptural reference

(Psalm 34:12-14): “Whoever of you loves life and desires to see many good days, keep your tongue from evil and your lips from telling lies. Turn from evil and do good; seek peace and pursue it.”  The man of God enumerated the basic things we need to consider in prayer as follows: “The thoughts that are in the mind, the desires that are in the heart and the feelings that are in the spirit”. It means that Christians must understand the right concepts of praying before their prayers can attract the attention of Heaven. No wonder many people pray and yet things remain the same. The major import of the message is that we must understand how to pray aright as true Christians.

Because prayer is a serious communion between man and his Creator, the man of God observed that it requires careful thinking before we jump into it. In other words, we need to think deeply about what we want to pray for before embarking on the act: “The heart should be strong, alert and active to know the feelings that are in the spirit; that is emotions. To come to this, one has to think more before praying. Meditate until God gives you a clear light to pray. When an airplane comes to a country before it can land at any airport it must be given clearance. In the same way, you must meditate until God gives you a clear light. Can you see that we are wasting our time? What we call prayer is not prayer – we are saying words”.

Prophet T.B. Joshua expatiated on the importance of meditation, its relevance to the act of prayer and the power it carries to bring about true communion with God. He counselled Christians on how and when to use this great medium: “When you get up in the morning, meditate, “Take more of me, give me more of You”. These are words that have been anointed for you. This will help you to think more before you start prayer because it will make your heart active, alert and strong. With this, you are meditating to the level where God will give you a clear light and say, “Go ahead and pray”.

During Mass Prayer, Prophet T.B. Joshua prayed along with the congregation consisting of visitors from many countries of the world. He took authority in the name of Jesus to bind demons and all spirits that are holding the people of God captive. He prayed for the nations of the world and asked God to intervene and stop the bloodshed that has become a global affair. He prayed against the spirits from the past and ministered healing and deliverance in Jesus’ name.

Earlier on, Evangelist Cindy had engaged the minds of the congregation with a message titled YOU CAN STILL TURN IT AROUND.

The message which revolved around the impermanence of circumstances urged Christians never to give up in the face of disappointing circumstances stressing that with God, every bad and ugly situation can be turned around for good.

She admonished Christians to learn from the experiences of great biblical figures whose situations later proved to be stepping stones to their eventual glory and triumph in life. According to her, only God knows what the future holds. Hence, our realization of this fact should endear us more to Him: “Have you ever wondered how someone who passed through the valley of the shadow of death, I mean, moved from hatred to a dry pit, from a dry pit to slavery, from slavery to false accusation and from false accusation to imprisonment could become a man of honour? Have you ever wondered how this young man Joseph, who was not even an Egyptian, could become the Prime Minister of Egypt? No man knows by the present signs or situation what the future holds. What does the future hold? In Jeremiah 29:11, God says, “For I know the plans I have for you … to give you hope and a future”. What a beautiful picture He has given us but know one thing that if gold must be gold, it has to pass through fire”. Evangelist Cindy enumerated certain steps that we as Christians must take to enable us overcome the world and all the negative situations it brings about. She talked about Mind Management and encouraged Christians to mature mentally by handing everything to the Holy Spirit. This is a level where situations around them would not be able to break them down. She talked about Dreams and advised Christians to realise that there are times when our expectations fail, yet we can turn such situations around when we allow the Holy Spirit to take total control and possession of our hearts. She spoke about Readiness insisting that unless we as Christians are ready to fight the good fight of faith, it will be difficult for us to achieve God’s plan for our lives. The fight of faith involves a lot of pain and sacrifice and only those who really desire God passionately can withstand the pains it brings. She also encouraged Christians to TALK FAITH and ACT FAITH by exercising the immense power at their disposal; the power which their son-ship automatically bestows upon them. Concluding, evangelist Cindy admonished Christians to understand that things will always turn around when we make God the centre of our existence: “No condition is permanent because there is nothing that God created that He cannot change. With Jesus, all things are possible. With Jesus, you can still turn it around”.

TESTIMONIES

God has continued to prove Himself at The SCOAN. Every day comes with a harvest of soul-lifting testimonies. Like a tree planted by the river side and watered by the Lord, Prophet T.B. Joshua is being used by God to bring salvation and redemption to the people of God. The following testimonies are a proof of the great signs and wonders that He has wrought with His mighty hand at The SCOAN for the conviction that the whole world might be saved through Christ Jesus.

HUNGARIAN PASTOR HEALED OF SKIN DISEASE 

In 2012, Pastor Magyari Laszlo from Hungary was afflicted by a skin disease and before long, his neck was covered with spots. His concern increased as the skin disease was spreading rapidly to every area of his body. The doctor diagnosed him with psoriases, an incurable skin disease. He was experiencing severe itching all the time and could not sleep. His skin would peel off and sometimes it would be bleeding. As a pastor, this embarrassing condition impeded his duties as he was not able to go out and evangelise the Word of God. He could only communicate through the internet or on phone because he had to stay indoors as a result of this problem.

One day, while searching for solution on the internet, he discovered the ministry of Prophet T.B. Joshua through videos on YouTube. When he saw the miracles and how people were cured of all kinds of sicknesses and diseases, he believed that God could also work wonders in his own situation. Soon after that, one night, while he was sleeping, he had a dream in which he saw Prophet T.B. Joshua praying for him at The SCOAN. During the prayer, he saw four snakes appear and Prophet T.B. Joshua hit the snakes’ heads; smoke appeared and the snakes disappeared.

Convinced that his case would not escape the anointing of God, he decided to come to The SCOAN so that Prophet T.B. Joshua could pray for him at the Prayer Line. Immediately after the prayer of Prophet T.B. Joshua, the itching disappeared. The following day, he noticed that the skin disease started to clear up. After the healing, he can now go out and evangelise the Word of God and do all the things he was unable to do before. He is also sleeping very peacefully at night. Joyfully testifying before the congregation and viewers worldwide, he showed his now perfect skin, restored for the glory of God.

MORNING WATER RESTORES HEALTH

Mr Lekan Mustapha together with his wife and mother-in-law came to The SCOAN to share their testimony with the children of God. One day, when his mother-law woke up, she experienced terrible joint pains. She was taken to hospital and diagnosed with arthritis. The condition deteriorated over time and the treatment was also a constant drain on her finances. She was moved to Canada in search of greener pastures and at that point, the second knee was also affected. She was diagnosed with severe arthritis on both knees. The last resort was to book her for an operation for knee cap replacements. She returned back to Nigeria and the diagnosis was still the same. She began to get discouraged as this pain had been her constant companion for ten years and she could no longer run her catering business. During this time, Mr Lekan Mustapha discovered Emmanuel TV and everything began to turn around! When his mother-in-law returned to Nigeria, Emmanuel TV was installed in her house and she began to watch testimonies of so many others.

When they learned about the Morning Water, they decided to bring their mother to The SCOAN. At the Prayer Line, Prophet T.B. Joshua gave Mr Mustapha a bottle of Morning Water and to his greatest surprise, told him to minister the Morning Water on his mother-in-law in the name of Jesus and the blood of Jesus. Immediately that was done, she rose from the seat and was able to walk freely to the glory of God!  Full of joy, her son-in-law proclaimed in awe at the miracle. Overflowing with gratitude to God for rescuing her health, Madam Fatoyinbo Ashati had nothing to say but “Thank You, Jesus!”

RESURRECTED THROUGH THE ANOINTING WATER

Bishop Smart Olusegun and family came to The SCOAN to testify to the goodness of God in their lives through the medium of the Anointing Water. One fateful day, they were travelling in a car with some of their church members when suddenly an oncoming car took the wrong side of the road. Mysteriously, his wife did not see the car but Bishop Smart, in order to avoid the oncoming car which only he saw, drove into a ditch and it became a very serious accident scene. The vehicle was a complete write-off.

By the divine grace of God, the Emmanuel TV crew were passing at that time and stopped when they saw the accident scene and rushed to assist. The bishop’s daughter was lifeless. She was removed from the vehicle and taken to an open area where the Faith Bracelet was put on her wrist and drops of the Anointing Water were ministered into her mouth. Shortly after that, the little girl was restored back to life and to the joy and amazement of the onlookers, opened her eyes. The Emmanuel TV team took the family to the nearest hospital and continued showing love to the family.

DARKNESS TO LIGHT

Mr Jonas from Zambia started his testimony by challenging the world that they should know that satanism is real as he was fully into it before his deliverance at The SCOAN the previous week.

It started when he was in boarding school where he was surrounded by rich friends who were a popular group in the school. Curious and eager to join their ranks, he joined one of their meetings where they took blood from his left hand, dripped it into a cup and made him drink half of the contents in the cup while the other people shared the remaining half. After this physical initiation, that night, he saw himself leave his body to appear in a graveyard, where people were singing and dancing. In the graveyard, he was given a black gown and red scarf to wear like the rest of the group. After that he went back to his body. When he woke up the next morning, he saw the black gown and red scarf in his wardrobe. In his suitcase he found a brown envelope with a lot of money together with a letter which told him that he was not allowed to use all the money but had to distribute a larger fraction of it to people. Later he learned that anyone who received the gift of that money could be used in the kingdom of darkness at anytime – they would be able to use that person’s body or face.

After completing his secondary school, he was promoted to another rank in the satanic kingdom. He started to appear under the sea and saw many people there. There were many departments but he was taken to the destruction section. They gave him two marks – 666 on his chest and hand. He was given assignments to destroy many people and cause confusion. He and his three friends were instructed to initiate women through sexual intercourse. They were given luxury cars which they used to target hotels and nightclubs to pick up women. Because of the money at their disposal, they could buy drinks for the women in order to accomplish their assignments with them by planting in them demons that would destroy their lives and marriages.

He explained that those from the satanic kingdom used to know each other because of the third eye on the forehead. They would greet each other and pass. They would know true Christians by Someone at their back, guiding and protecting them. Mr Jonas said that in the satanic kingdom, nothing you would do would ever be appreciated. He was asked to sacrifice his own parents but it was too difficult for him. The ‘master’ told him that he was very stubborn and they wanted to discipline him. He and two of his friends decided to quit and he was told that they would suffer for that.

Soon after that, he was suspended from the university, for no reason. One of his friends died while the other one ended up in a wheelchair.  At that point, he started looking for deliverance. When pastors would pray for him, he would be the one to deliver them; the pastors would be beaten by something they could not see. He thought all hope was lost. He then remembered when he was still part of the satanic kingdom that there was a time when a presentation was made under the sea and one woman stood up to complain about a certain man, “T.B. Joshua” and at the mention of that name, everything under the sea shook. They told her not to mention that name there because he was very problematic to their satanic kingdom. He also heard people in Zambia talking about how God was using T.B. Joshua. That made him to decide to come to The SCOAN to receive his deliverance. At the prayer line, when Prophet T.B. Joshua looked at him, he saw a very bright light like the sun and fell down. From there, he did not know what happened. When he regained consciousness, he was feeling very light and the wickedness from his heart was removed. Before his deliverance, he used to hear voices and see strange things but since his deliverance, he is free and enjoying peace of mind. He brought the picture of his friend in the wheelchair. His friend touched the screen when Prophet T.B. Joshua prayed for the viewers and rose up from the wheelchair and is now walking freely!  He advised people to believe and trust in God and be prayerful.

BROKEN LEG CURED THROUGH MORNING WATER

In March 2014, Mr Sampson Nwokoro, (aka Sanui Godman) a Gospel artist was afflicted by the spirit of suicide. He looked for the highest bridge in Abuja to jump down from. When he jumped down, he broke his leg. He was hospitalised, treated and later discharged. Then, the spirit of madness came upon him and he was admitted in a psychiatric hospital. There, he broke his leg again and ended up with crutches. His sister had to take care of him. She kept telling him about The SCOAN but he was reluctant to come until he finally decided to listen to her. When they eventually came, it was a Saturday and there was no healing service but rather than going home empty handed, they received the Morning Water. Back home, his sister ministered it to him in Jesus’ name. He slept and woke up and felt strength returning to his leg. The following day, he came back to The SCOAN and at the overflow congregation, he heard the evangelist saying, “You that are sick, rise up and walk!” He felt that she was talking to him and rose up and walked freely! He advised everyone to apply their faith in Jesus’ name and they will receive.

On Sunday February 9, 2015, the mighty presence of God was felt at the church service of The SCOAN. Apart from the edifying ministrations of the Emmanuel Singers, the passion and excitement of the congregation to connect with Heaven through prayer added spiritual substance to the day.

The man of God, Prophet T.B. Joshua engaged the congregation in an enlightening yet instructive message about MEDITATION. According to the man of God, “Meditation brings revelation… Meditation in the Word is a visit with God. The Word becomes a part of us by meditation. If meditation in the Word is a visit with God, this means, meditation makes the Word a part of us. The Word becomes a part of us by meditation. Today, we talk of prayer and fasting but I have never heard where they lay emphasis on meditation”. In other words, the essence of meditation in the life of a Christian is phenomenal. Unfortunately, most Christians prefer to jump into fasting and prayer rather than meditate on the Word which in actual fact hastens the communion between man and God. It is when we constantly meditate on the Word of God that we receive heavenly insights for the future.

Speaking further, Prophet T.B. Joshua bemoaned the attitude of Christians to meditation, stressing that it is the foundation of every good plan or vision that sets out to prosper: “It is an issue Christians play down but it is fundamental; it is a foundation. People play down the word, ‘meditation’. For your plan towards a business to work smoothly, you must sit down and meditate where you are going, how much you need to spend, etc. It may be when you are lying on your bed in the night privately. You may be crying alone or smiling alone. Meditation means think more. Faith comes when the Word prevails over the thinking processes.” Describing meditation further as “more than thinking”, the man of God posited that it can take a Christian to the level when he or she becomes absorbed. According to him, that is the level where most Christians begin to speak in tongues: “When you engage in more than thinking, you may start crying or smiling, talking alone. You are talking to God and you have forgotten yourself. This is the level you need to go. This is the realm you can enjoy your life, not the realm you are. When you are thinking, you are aware of what is happening around you but when you are more than thinking, you are not aware of what is happening. This is the realm that can offer you speaking in tongues”.

Prophet T.B. Joshua concluded that we cannot reach God when our hearts are heavy with burdens: “You need a free spirit to interact, relate with God, to get on with God but your spirit is not free. The moment you discover that burden that put you in bondage, you can remove it by prayer. A free spirit is sensitive to the Spirit of God. The first thing you need to do is remove the burden. Faith makes the Word prevail”.

During Mass Prayer, the man of God took authority in the mighty name of Jesus to release those in whatever kind of bondage, ranging from career to health issues: “Whatever area of your life that is troubled, begin to command calmness. My career, business, spiritual life, destiny – I command calmness!”

In an earlier exhortation, Evangelist Anne, speaking on a message titled, ‘TRUST IN THE LORD BEFORE THE LIONS ARRIVE’ enjoined Christians to always be of good cheer in times of trials. She discouraged the attitude of asking God questions when things go awry, observing that what our Creator requires at all times is total trust in Him as exemplified by many biblical heroes. She also frowned at the faithless outbursts of unbelievers who would quickly blame God for all their failings: “If you ask someone who doesn’t believe in God why he doesn’t believe. The answer you will likely get is this – “If a loving God exists, why does He stand by and do nothing when others are hurting? Where was he when my innocent brother was jailed for a crime he never committed? Where was he when as a graduate, I was denied my right in society and had to join the men of the underworld? Where was he when everyone in my family became so poor that I now cater for them through prostitution?”

Encouraging Christians not to make hasty conclusions about God when they are faced with temporary challenges, she also reminded them that the present should not be used to judge the future because, the present might be gloomy but with God, there will always be a future full of hope: “Today, many act more like God’s enemies than his friends because of an inability to see beyond their immediate situation. They become rebellious in nature and often misinterpret God’s silence as rejection; they surrender to their fears while their hearts dream of a miracle and are quick to conclude that there is no future/hope/God!”

Evangelist Anne made reference to biblical characters like Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego as well as Job and explained in detail how their trust in God turned their situations around even in the face of grave dangers: “Many biblical heroes had their faith challenged in a new way but they never cut off their dependence upon God. They knew that personal fulfilment and achievement came from learning from both positive and negative experiences; that there were no short cuts to spiritual maturity and that in their spiritual walk with God, there would be good and hard times”.

Concluding, Evangelist Anne admonished Christians about the antics of satan who would always want them to dwell on things God has not given them rather than those He has given them, stating that they are all ploys by the devil to place the world in their hearts so that Christ would be displaced: “Because satan knows he cannot stop those with spiritual insight into Christ Jesus, his main aim is to get you to forget all God has given and focus on what you don’t have.  But a Christian cannot afford to forget God than the Israelites could in their daily life. You can deny, ridicule, slander, and ignore God but His love remains constant and unchanging”.

MORNING WATER WASHES ADDICTION AWAY

One day Lucy Agada from Benue was taking a stroll in a field; she would never have imagined that this seemingly harmless act would be a turning point for the worse in her life. As she was walking, she smelt the scent of anthill soil and it appealed to her. Taking some from the ground, she began to eat it. That was the beginning of her addiction. Before long, she was totally addicted to the anthill soil, preferring it to ordinary food. To her, it tasted like chocolate and she would eat it four to five times a day. Her friends and family members thought she was mentally ill and she was very embarrassed but the craving continued all the more. Each time she tried to stop it, the desire would increase. The addiction went on for four years. She became desperate and in faith decided to come to The SCOAN for deliverance. At the Prayer Line, the man of God, Prophet T.B. Joshua prayed for her and ministered the Morning Water on her. She received her deliverance and the desire for the anthill soil vanished as quickly as it came. Free and full of joy, she testified to the great change in her life. She can now eat normally to the glory of God!

AFFLICTION OF ASTHMA ENDED

Miss Dume Rita’s life was brought to a standstill when she was diagnosed with asthma two years ago. This sickness was not just ordinary asthma. It was an affliction that affected every area of her life. She would have attacks three times a week and would be rushed to hospital at times in a critical condition. She did not look for work with any enthusiasm knowing that no company would accept her with such an affliction. She would have to dress warmly all the time in an attempt to guard against the frequent attacks. She was also allergic to perfume and immediately she smelt the scent of strong perfume, an attack would start. Watching Emmanuel TV, she believed that her sickness would be wiped away if she could just get hold of the Morning Water.

A friend came to The SCOAN and received the Morning Water. She gave it to Rita and after ministering it, the asthma vanished completely. She began to breathe normally and strength and life returned to her; she is healed! Now, she can use perfume and is no longer taking regular trips to the hospital. Not only was she healed physically; her career also turned around. After two years of unemployment, despite being a Business Management Graduate, she was blessed with a new job as a Retail Manager in a bank.

To cap it all, she was also healed of severe menstrual pain after Ministering the Morning Water. Her setback and sickness has truly been wiped away, in the name of Jesus Christ!

FULL MOVEMENT RETURNS THROUGH THE MORNING WATER

Imagine having to sleep in a seated position every night. How would it feel not to be able to look back, to the right or to the left? This was the unfortunate position Mrs. Patricia Onwubiko found herself in. Diagnosed with cervical spondylosis, she was given a neck collar which was to be worn at all times. This neck collar did little to ease the severe pain she was passing through. Not able to move around or even eat, she was truly in a sorry state. That was before she was brought to The SCOAN and received prayer from Prophet T.B. Joshua with the Morning Water. With just one spray, the muscles in her neck became loose and her bones were shifted back to their original position. She began turning her neck freely to the glory of God! Now free from pain, she threw away her neck collar, rejoicing at the healing power of Jesus Christ!
