The SCOAN Sunday Service of February 15, 2015 was no doubt another huge success in the spiritual rejuvenation of God’s people. One thing that remains consistent with the church is its untiring resolve, passion for the salvation and redemption of mankind from all walks of life irrespective of gender or race. Hence, the name The Synagogue, Church of All Nations is not accidental but a fulfilment of the ministry’s God-given mandate to affect lives all over the world. It was therefore with an awe-inspiring approach that the entire congregation prepared their minds to receive the spiritual food dished out by the man of God, Prophet T.B. Joshua as well as the rich musical interjections by the spectacular Emmanuel Singers, a group whose reputation in musical ministration is soaring internationally.

Delivering his message titled CHRIST WILL MAKE HIS HOME IN YOUR HEARTS, the man of God affirmed that for our hearts to be qualified to be Christ’s home, we must put our trust in Him. We cannot claim to have Him in our hearts when our trust is on strange gods and deities. He cannot make our hearts his abode when our love for worldly pleasures supersedes our desire for Him. According to the man of God, who referred to the book of Romans 9:1, “Our heart is the communication/contact point. Christ dwells in our heart through faith. This means, it is the Word dwelling in you which is equivalent with Christ personally being in you. This means, Christ and the Word are one. If you know Christ and His Word are one, you bring Christ on the scene. Anytime you say, “In Jesus’ name”, you bring Christ on the scene instantly. Can’t you see the reason why you have not brought Jesus to the scene? Anytime you pray, you hear yourself, people around you hear you but Christ doesn’t hear you. When Christ doesn’t hear you and the people around you hear you, it is a dangerous mission”.

Animating the occasion with the popular Christian song Trust and Obey, Prophet T.B. Joshua analyses the way and manner in which Christ builds His home in our hearts through the Word: “As the Word dominates, rules and sanctifies our spirit’s nature, He is building Himself and making Himself a part of us. The faith bracelet will help you as you meditate the Word, it will dominate your heart; it will rule your heart and sanctify your spirit’s nature”. Speaking further, the man of God highlighted the relationship between meditating on the Word and uninhibited communion with God: “Meditation in the Word is a visit with God. As you meditate in the Word, it becomes part of us and we become a part of it. Meditation is not thinking but more than that because when we talk about thinking, we talk about the senses. Think more”.

Re-emphasising the essence of meditation in the life of a Christian, the man of God urged the congregation to embrace the practice as it affords them the opportunity of getting deeper insights into life and divine direction. He frowned on the lukewarm attitude of many towards the practice: “There is an area in our life we have neglected – meditation. There must be a quiet time when you sit down, imagine if this life is over, what is next. What you have never experienced before, think about that. Think of those who have gone. Think about what they left behind. This is what you have never heard. What you have never experienced before, think about it, if life is over. Think of those who have gone, friends, colleagues or relatives. After that, you can take your faith bracelet and begin to meditate”.

Explaining the role faith plays in our walk with God, Prophet T.B. Joshua stated that it is very difficult to please God without it. Hence, the need for Christians to exercise their faith at all times in order to be able to unleash their wonder-working potentials: “Only faith pleases God. Faith is perfected by our acting on the Word. How do you act on the Word? This is the secret. Faith comes through hearing the Word of God. There is more to that. Faith is hearing and obeying. You cannot obey that Word when the Word has not dominated, ruled and lived in your heart. Faith is like a coin. Faith is a Heavenly currency. You must take this Word to heart. It is what is dominating your heart that you can shout. This will replace everything”.

In conclusion, Prophet T.B. Joshua spoke on the secret of faith: “The secret of faith, the Word must dwell, live and rule your heart. Faith is perfected by our acting on the Word. The Word must dominate, rule and live in our heart. This is the secret of faith”. And for those who allow God to make His home in their hearts, Prophet T.B. Joshua describes them in the following words: “The Lord has given you a foundation. If today were your last day on earth, what will happen? You will begin to see revelation about yourself and others and from there, God will strengthen your mind to remember. The whole world doesn’t know what will happen next. This is what Christianity is all about – God’s opinion about yourself and others”.

FROM PAUPER TO PROPRIETOR

Akelisiyine Pius came to The SCOAN from Ghana with the problem of abject poverty (to the extent that he could not take care of his family).  Before going back to Ghana, he received the Anointing Water and believed that his life would turn around. After ministering the Anointing Water in the name of Jesus, he dreamt that Prophet T.B. Joshua was walking with him through a school. When he woke up, he started praying, although he had never had any previous thought of starting a school project. A few weeks later, his attention was brought to an abandoned school in his area. He purchased and took over the school and started operating in the middle of the academic year. Despite this, the process was very smooth because God was behind it. The school started with 65 students but before the end of that week, the school was filled up with 100 students. Now, to the glory of God, there are 330 students studying in his school. To add to the facility of the school, he bought a small van. Seeing the school was growing bigger and bigger, he had to buy a bigger school bus in addition to the small van. As the number of pupils continued to increase at a fast rate, he had to purchase an additional coaster bus to properly serve the pupils. Mr Pius advises everyone to do what God has put in their heart with faith.

“I SLEPT WITH 30 MEN A DAY…” – CONFESSIONS OF A DIABOLIC PROSTITUTE

If evil could be adequately defined in a story, Asatu’s would perhaps be a model. A background stooped in satanic secrecy opened the gateway for wickedness of unimaginable proportions to work through her. Initiated at a tender age into a cult that thrived on the belief in animal superiority, Asatu’s private parts were marked for destruction in a sick ritual. Her parents’ premature death led her to seek spiritual help in darker places that only ended up entangling her deeper in bondage. An attempt at marriage ended abysmally as the relationship that spawned two young children ended with her being thrown onto the streets. Desperate and smarting with anger, Asatu succumbed to the lure of ‘greener pastures’ abroad, following a strange lady to Nigeria.

Upon reaching Nigeria, the lady took her to a witchdoctor, whose charm, which promised to restore her marital bliss, ended up killing her estranged husband. Resorting to prostitution, Asatu roamed the four corners of Nigeria, sleeping with up to 30 men in a day to fend for herself. Burdened by her two young children, her willpower eventually whittled away to the point where the unthinkable became feasible – she ‘gave’ out her kids. “I have no ideas where they are right now,” she confessed to the shocked congregants at The SCOAN.

Eventually ending up in Lagos on the prostitution trail, the brothel where she ‘worked’ was broadcasting an unusual television station – Emmanuel TV. Upon watching and learning The SCOAN was located in Lagos, she made the decision to attend the service last week, tired of her dirty lifestyle. As Prophet T.B. Joshua prayed for calmness to descend upon the congregants in the mass prayer, an incredible sequence of events unfolded for Asatu! A shocking, rumbling sensation welled within her stomach forcing her to her knees. Then, it came out. A disgusting item wrapped in red thread with a needle interwoven. The charm she had ingested many years ago in the home of a spiritualist had been forced out by God’s power!

After her deliverance, Asatu testified that the terrible dreams she previously had of dungeons and graveyards were gone as was the urge to engage in illicit prostitution.  “Believe in God,” she tearfully advised the somber congregation. “Leave evil and give your life to God. Only God has the final say in everything.”

DOUBLE BLESSING THROUGH ANOINTING WATER MINISTRATION
Mr. and Mrs. Decku alongside Miss Nukunu, Mrs. Decku’s younger sister came to The SCOAN with their lives full of challenges. While Mrs. Decku’s case was incessant miscarriages, her younger sister Miss Nukunu was suffering from abject poverty. Mrs Decku who had been married for three years would always have a nightmare anytime she was pregnant and that experience always ended in her losing the pregnancy. Her husband was dejected about her condition and the state of things. The trio came to a conclusion to come to The SCOAN to receive the ministration of the Anointing Water. As the couple went back to Ghana, they prayed, ministered the Anointing Water in Jesus’ name and met as husband and wife. One day, while they visited the doctor to attend to his health, it was also confirmed that his wife was pregnant. Praise the Lord! Miss Nikunu on her own part, after receiving the ministration of the Anointing Water, received a call from a friend who owns a big company in Ghana. She was offered a job as a sales representative for one of the branches of his company. Her salary was increased ten times more than what she earned before. Indeed, with God’s power, nothing is impossible!

INABILITY TO WALK SUCCUMBS TO THE POWER OF GOD

Nwakolo Godwin came to The SCOAN from Delta State, Nigeria with difficulty in walking due to lumbar spondylosis. As a result, he could neither walk well nor stand for more than five minutes. He could not sleep because of the excruciating pain he had. He had visited several places in search of solution to this problem but all to no avail. He then decided to come to The SCOAN for his healing. He was arranged at The SCOAN Prayer Line. Immediately Prophet T.B. Joshua touched him, he received instant healing. He could not explain how this happened; all he knew was that he was healed. Now that he is healed, he can do anything. Indeed, there is never a problem that Jesus cannot solve and there is never a sickness that Jesus cannot heal.

DELIVERED FROM THE SPIRIT OF PORNOGRAPHY

The prophecy that his addiction to the internet had led to the collapse of his marriage hit him like a bolt out of the blues. Mr. Childress Simmons Jnr. Could not deny the cataclysmic turn his life had taken after the man of God, Prophet T.B. Joshua had uncovered the dark corner of his life.

His mother’s separation from his father was the beginning of his doom. With no choice, he went with his mother to live with her new found love, his step-father. There, his young life was infected with the spirit of pornography through his step-brother who actually introduced him into the evil practice, being in ownership of a rich library of pornographic magazines and videos. At the tender age of 10 he was already addicted. His young life was already shedding its innocence and was at the trench destruction. With time, the contagious hands of pornography continued to pull him down the abyss of deeper addiction. He would keep unholy vigils just to satiate his senses with pornographic videos. The act became some sort of escapist mechanism for him whenever he wanted to cure himself of depression.

Due to his excessive nocturnal ritual of watching pornographic videos, he became a social menace; he would sleep while driving as a result of exhaustion. His mindset was corrupted to the extent that he had no regard for women. After all, he had seen it all! Those things that made womanhood sacred were the same he saw and trivialised at will. Haunting him like a ghost passionate to destroy its target at all cost, his addiction to pornography became the Achilles Hill of his life. The only thing that motivated him into marriage was the satisfaction of his sexual fantasies – a disease which his addiction had brought about. His marriage eventually crumbled after few months when he realised that his appetites were insatiable just as his diseased thinking was incurable. His knack for masturbation increased with every successful pornographic exercise.

Mr Simmons was lost to world that was destroying him gradually. He was even unaware that he needed help. He was deeply engrossed in the unwholesome practices of masturbation and pornography even when a second marriage was consummated. “All this while, I knew I was killing myself but there was nothing I could do about it. In my second relationship I started looking for a solution. I started fasting and going to prayer houses”. It dawned on him that he needed God to deliver him from the dungeon of self-destruction he had thrown himself into.

At the peak of his evil engagement, he would be on the internet having sex with strangers via webcam. His lustful ways graduated rather pitiably and made him a sorry case. “The spirit of lust as a result of pornography led me to get married to women who were divorced and had bad marriages…

At the Prayer Line, Prophet T.B. Joshua prayed for me and I immediately knew I was delivered. Since my deliverance, I don’t look at women as physical objects anymore; I see them as daughters of God that need to be respected and also my heart has been renewed. As a young man, I am now excelling in everything I put my hand to. I was at the rock bottom; I was hopeless before I came to The SCOAN. I advise young people to desist from pornography because it will only open doors for demons into their lives. I also want parents to keep good watch over the affairs of their children”.

 God’s omnipresent power radiated among the entire congregation at The SCOAN Sunday Service of February 22, 2015. The inspiring atmosphere, enriched by the beautiful and soul-lifting songs of the Emmanuel Singers, provided the platform for the flow of God’s undiluted grace amongst His people. And for sure, many souls were touched, favoured and blessed through the Word that was practically sent out through the man of God, Prophet T.B. Joshua, to heal, to save and to bless.

In furtherance of his message OUR SUCCESS DEPENDS ON OUR MEDITATION AND CONFESSION, the man of God emphasised the significance and gains of trusting in God. He observed that there are certain principles governing the possibility of one’s heart being made God’s house. According to the man of God, the heart plays a very essential role in this arrangement: “How can Christ make His home in your heart? That is the place, the residence where Christ dwells. In our hearts we want to be like Jesus, not in our faces. Our heart is the communication point – a dwelling place for Christ. We hear from Christ in our heart. You cannot hear Christ from your ears but in your heart. This makes it possible for us to talk to each other and at the same moment talk to Christ. I will use my mouth to talk to you and use my heart to talk to Jesus because it is not the same medium. I am talking to you and talking to Jesus at the same time and Jesus is talking to me”.

The man of God elucidated the role and place of faith in man’s relationship with God. According to him, “…faith is perfected by our acting on the Word. That is the Word must dominate us, live in us. This is the secret of faith. If the Word is not dominating you, you cannot act faith. You can easily know a man of faith, merely by looking at him and his attitude”. He also described the nature of faith and the qualities of a true man of faith: “Faith does not neglect responsibilities. Faith is not a panic button to push only in times of trouble. It is a lifestyle of trusting in God. When the goings are good, you see them fasting, when the going are hard you do not know the difference, that is a man of faith”.

Again, Prophet T.B. Joshua urged Christians to embrace the practice of meditation as a connective tool between them and their Creator. He analyses the connection between meditation, confession and the heart: “Our success depends on our mediation and confession. The Word builds Christ nature in us. What is the nature? Christ possesses a nature that makes it easy for you to trust in God – faithfulness, purity, goodness, kindness, obedience – these are the natures of Christ”. According to the man of God, meditation brings about an increase in faith because it engages our minds deeply with the Word of God: “Nothing should stop your heart meditating this: ‘Take more of me and give me more of Your faithfulness, goodness, self control, humility’. This makes it possible for you to increase your faith. We have faith when we have more of the fruit of the Spirit. The more the meditation the more you have faith. You say until you read the Bible from Genesis to Revelation before you have faith. No, you must acknowledge His faithfulness and goodness”.

Concluding, Prophet T.B. Joshua encouraged Christians to hold on to meditation and enjoy the benefits that come from it. Apart from connecting us with our Creator, it prepares the way for us to receive our hearts’ desires from God: “There is a process before prayer. Meditation will take you to God. From here to God, there are many obstacles that will stop you from reaching God – disobedience, unfaithfulness etc. They are there to block your voice from reaching God. It is not all up to God and certainly it is not all up to you – you have a role – your role is meditation”.

ANOTHER KIND OF MIRACLE: DAMAGED KIDNEY RESTORED

Miss Ireti Rhoda Rowland, a graduate of Mass Communication from the University of Ilorin was filled with dismay when as a young lady of 28, she became incapacitated. Her body was becoming very swollen and she was not able to move around. The doctors conducted various tests and discovered her blood pressure was extremely high at 250/130. They then gave her a bottle of water to drink. After drinking the water, they examined her and were shocked to discover that the water had not gone to her bladder but instead to other parts of her body. The diagnosis was grave: chronic kidney failure.

Both her kidneys were damaged and could no longer function the way they were supposed to. The only temporary relief was that she had to go for dialysis three times a week, where her blood was pumped out and then filtered before being pumped back into her body. She would become very weak each time the dialysis was performed. She tried to stop herself from drinking water or liquids, because the more she drank, the more she needed the dialysis and each week of dialysis sessions cost N120, 000. She became so thirsty that she would ask her sister to drink water in her presence so that she could imagine how it would be to drink water herself. It got to the point where her parents, after selling all their property, had to borrow money to keep up the treatment. They became unpopular at the hospital as unpaid bills continued to accumulate. If her dialysis was delayed for one reason or another, her body would begin to swell and the fluid would begin to go to her brain. She would then become very angry and would behave abnormally. This was a sign that she desperately needed to go for the dialysis.

The alternative treatment she was offered was a kidney transplant operation in India. This would cost $14,000 which was far beyond their financial capabilities. Her only brother offered to donate his kidney to save her life as it matched with her own.

With her case worsening and no trip to India in sight, she confessed to her sister that she wanted to commit suicide. Tearfully, her sister told her that it was not the way out; she should instead hold onto God. Knowing that death was just around the corner, her mother asked her to examine herself and if she had any grievance against anybody, she should forgive them so that she would be accepted before God in Heaven. Mrs. Rowland came to The SCOAN to renew her membership pass and to collect one for Ireti as well. She was determined that whatever might happen to her daughter at last, she should be a member of a living church and would inherit the Kingdom of God. The coordinators asked to see her daughter but she explained that she could not come due to the sickness. They reported the case to the man of God who was touched and prompted by the Holy Spirit, decided to follow the case up. She was invited and placed on the Prayer Line.

At the prayer line, the man of God, Prophet T.B. Joshua asked her a question, “If Jesus gives you another chance, will you live for Him?” She promised, crying out, “Jesus, give me another chance to serve You. I will live for You for the rest of my life!” The man of God explained this miracle, calling it, ‘Another kind of miracle’. He said, “Jesus has a warehouse. When a kidney is damaged and you call upon Him, He will open the warehouse. Every one of us has an extra spare part/ organ in the warehouse. He can open the warehouse and give you your own and give you another chance. My job is to set you aside, position you for the attention of Jesus”.

Before the man of God came to her, she began to feel fire all over her body, especially where her kidneys were located. After the prayer, the man of God gave her Morning Water and told her she would have a dream.

When she was afflicted, she would dream of seeing a very old woman who also had a kidney problem taking care of her and playing with her. That night, after taking the Morning Water, she slept and she saw the same old woman chasing her with a big stick and in the next minute, she saw Prophet T.B. Joshua in a white garment with open arms telling her he was ready to accept her even though the old woman was chasing her; she then woke up. The next day, to her immense surprise, she began to urinate normally for the first time in many months. Strength returned to her body and she began to walk normally and do things by herself. Previously, her siblings would have to physically carry her around anywhere she needed to go. It has now been 12 days since she last did dialysis! She now knows what it feels like to drink water and no longer feels thirsty. She knows what it feels like to sweat again. She can now plan for the future with a firm confidence and hope in Jesus Christ, her Saviour. This truly is another kind of miracle.

THERE IS NEVER A SICKNESS JESUS CANNOT CURE. DISTANCE IS NOT A BARRIER!

During Mass Prayer, the man of God took authority in Jesus’ name to loose the captives from the stronghold of the devil much as he bound demons and evil spirits that prowl around destroying destinies. With great power and anointing, the following prayer points resonated with charismatic zeal to the glory of God through Christ our Lord and Saviour: “Cover your career, business, finances, marriage with the blood of Jesus…Whatever you might have eaten knowingly or unknowingly in your dream, on the table of your enemy, flush it out, in Jesus’ name…Whatever pain in your system, be it in your kidney, blood, liver – command them out in Jesus’ name…Lord, Jesus, I receive You into my life. I believe that You save me now, thank You for my salvation”

Sunday, March 1, 2015 was another inspiring day at The SCOAN. The church service, as usual, witnessed a huge attendance of people from all walks of life and from different states and countries – all in search of God’s divine direction. They all came with their minds and hearts full of expectations; they know and believe that in His presence, there are deliverance and a great outpouring of grace, favour and love.

The man of God, Prophet T.B. Joshua, took the congregation through symbolic Biblical truths concerning man’s relationship and walk with God. He stated that some of the fancies of the world are not truly those that make life worth living: “We need something more than money. The lame man was eagerly expecting a gift from Peter and John but they said to him, “We don’t have money for you. What we have makes money insufficient”. According to the man of God, what we need as Christians is more precious than money: “What you need now is more than money. Money cannot remove depression. The rich are the ones under depression today more than the poor. Money cannot remove pressure or tension. What we need is in the name Jesus. When we know we need more than money, the eagerness of getting money in whatever you do, will not be there, but good name. A good name will give you peace, comfort but today eagerness to get huge money, profit leads us to cheat our fellow brother, misappropriation, corruption. We need more than money. Getting money cannot give you what you need. Rather, it invites more trouble”.

Speaking further, the man of God analysed the life of the true Christian and the inevitability of attacks at some point in time: “Attack is to encourage you to move closer to God. Your attitude towards the attack will determine how soon you will receive the blessing. If you are sluggish towards the attack, trying to avoid the attack, dodge the attack, manipulate the whole system, the breakthrough will manipulate you and avoid you. No man at the beginning of his journey remains stable. Everyone goes down-up. At a certain time, he will remain stable. That is the life of everyone of us. Down means hardship, sickness, name calling, etc. they will put you in prison and then release you again. They will call you names and then call you good names as time goes on. Many when things are down commit suicide”.

Concluding, Prophet T.B. Joshua led the congregation in Mass Prayer, taking authority in the mighty name of Jesus to bind demons, loose those in bondage, set captives free, minister healing and deliverance and prophesy breakthrough in the lives of many: “Right now, I have the right to the authority of Jesus. Take the authority of the Father. You have a right as a Christian to that authority. Begin to command every situation to move, every sickness and disease. Open your lips and begin to move that mountain by the authority given to you. Move that cancer, sickness, diabetes, hypertension, kidney problem, liver problem”

MULTIPLE ENTRY VISA SECURED THROUGH MORNING WATER MINISTRATION

Mr. Kelvin Edotimi

Mr. Kelvin Edotimi, a Project Manager was at the SCOAN prayer service last year November and received a prophetic declaration from the man of God, Prophet T.B. Joshua, urging the congregation to meditate on the Word of God. Personally inspired by that prophetic Word, Mr. Kelvin keyed into it and began to meditate on that Word with passionate commitment even though he did not have a faith bracelet. By December of that year, he had an encounter with the man of God in his dream. In what seemed like a deliverance service in the dream, he had asked the man of God why it was that the world is enmeshed in so much pain and agony with people suffering all over the world. He also tried to find out from the man of God what mankind had done to deserve their unfortunate fate. The man of God revealed to him that those who are suffering have departed and deviated from God’s divine will and purpose. Not satisfied, he went further to ask the man of God about his own case: why he was passing through some challenges. The man of God told him that whatever he is facing is but for a while; a short experience that would prepare him for a very bright future.

After he woke from the dream-laden sleep, he realised that he had been nonchalant about an important professional opportunity that had been waiting for him at his work place, where he is a member of the Board of Directors. A training opportunity overseas had been there all the while but for reasons he could not explain, he was just not interested. But after that encounter with the man of God in the dream, his passion and zeal for the opportunity became unusually ignited. Moved by the promising prospects unleashed by his encounter with undiluted anointing, he applied for the visa to enable him travel to the United States where the leadership course is to take place.

On the day of his interview at the U.S. Embassy, he had ministered the Morning Water and prayed for God’s favour. On getting there, he was delayed when one of the security men found a bottle of the Morning Water in his pocket. However, he had another weapon to pull his way through; He recalled that the man of God had also made another prophetic declaration that “The way out for me has come. Jesus Christ is the way out”. He kept meditating on that prophetic declaration until he eventually found his way. His interviewer did not waste much time with him. After few questions, he was asked to come back in three days to collect his visa. To the glory of God, he was granted a two-year multiple entry visa. Testifying to God’s goodness, he advised Christians to see their challenges as temporary just as he was told by the man of God in his dream. He also described the Morning Water as the blood of Jesus for the healing of our infirmities.

DOUBLE DIVINE VISITATION AFTER PRAYER FROM PROPHET T.B. JOSHUA

Mr. Christian Otero, a Puerto Rican national was a Supervisor with a telecommunications company, Claro. For three years, he worked without promotion. At a time, one of his superiors even gave a bad evaluation about him.

God’s overflowing mercies remain the hallmark of worship and thanksgiving that have continued to characterise every Sunday Service at The SCOAN. On Sunday, March 8, 2015, that intense atmosphere of worship and praise radiated the entire congregation, creating a connection between the worshippers and the host of Heaven whose presence was felt in the depth of the soul-lifting songs delivered by the Emmanuel Singers. Every aspect of the service symbolised God. From the smiles that emanated out of hopeful countenances to the unhindered dance steps of those moved by the Spirit, the reality of God’s presence was written all over the gallery down to the overflows where great testimonies of His wonder-working nature never ceased to blossom like trees planted by the river side and watered by the Lord.

Speaking generally on the ideal attitude of Christians to situations around them, the man of God, Prophet T.B. Joshua urged Christians to desist from the act of worrying as it lays them back and disconnects them from the intervention of God. Instead of worrying, he says they should, at every point in time, cast their burdens unto God: “When one is thinking, worried and troubled, your spirit cannot be free to attract the Spirit of God. We cannot be available for God when we are worried. Maybe something is troubling or worrying you; you cannot be available for God’s Spirit. It is when we are free, our spirit is free. This is why 1 Peter 5:7 says, ‘Cast your cares, your troubles to God because He cares for you and loves you’. When we are troubled, we cannot be sensitive to the Spirit of God. You need a free spirit to pray. You need a free spirit to hear from God. You cannot hear from God when your spirit is troubled”. The man of God further admonished Christians from allowing burdens stand between them and the goodness of God. He observed that as soon as we are ready to commune with God in whatever way, we must ensure that all our burdens are forgotten: “When you want to open your Bible and read, it is time to give all your trouble. When you take up your Bible, immediately give all your cares and troubles to God. Leave all that is worrying you and bothering you before opening the Bible. If not, you will read but will not be able to obey what you read…It is not all up to God; certainly it is not all up to you. It takes your genuine willingness and God’s ability to achieve something. You can choose to overlook everything and open your Bible and read. Don’t look for the solution for the trouble you have in the Bible. Read the Bible for the salvation of your soul”.

The man of God also reminded Christians about the indispensable place of meditation in the walk and communion with God. According to him, meditation brings about insight and helps to erase mental obstacles from the mind: “Ask for a free spirit. Meditation reveals the burden in our spirit. Meditation exposes the burden in our spirit. That is why we have the Faith Bracelet. “Oh Holy Spirit, take more of me; give me more of You”.

ANOINTING WATER PROPELS A TRUCK DRIVER TO COMPANY DIRECTOR
Life was so unfair to Mr. Olaoluwa Akinmuyise that he found it a herculean task to carter to the needs of his family, finding himself on the throes of penury and stagnancy. His donkey years as a truck driver did not avail much reward to his life. However, Mr. Akinmuyise’s encounter with a friend inspired his decision to start watching Emmanuel TV. The pain transcended the limits of the ordinary after persisting for 32 long years. Mr. Oba Anthony Tokunbo’s medical consultation revealed he had stones in his gall bladder, a condition that prompted doctors to suggest an urgent operation in order to avoid total damage. Worried and fatigued as a result of excruciating migraines and an increasing blood pressure, Mr Anthony feared an operation. Looking elsewhere for solution, he chose to make his way to The SCOAN rather than the operating room and he received the Morning Water. On the date scheduled for his operation, Mr Anthony ministered the Morning water in prayer and headed to the hospital in faith.

As precursor to the anticipated surgery, the doctor carried out further tests. Upon receiving the results that day, he asked Mr Anthony, “How did it happen?” The ways of God are not the ways of man. The Heavenly excitement never wanes as the congregation accompany the choristers in the rendition of heart-moving songs. That God is overwhelmingly present is a fact that cannot be over-emphasised. His presence is felt even in the humble conduct of the man of God, Prophet T.B. Joshua whose short message on faith left deep marks on the minds of the congregation.

Speaking about the faith bracelet, the man of God said “The Faith Bracelet helps on the outside to set your belief”. Citing Romans 10:8-10, the man of God elucidated the place of faith in cementing our relationship with God: “The message is very close at hand; it is on your lips and in your heart.” And that message is the very message about faith that we preach: ⁹ If you openly declare that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. ¹⁰ For it is by believing in your heart that you are made right with God, and it is by openly declaring your faith that you are saved.”

The man of God also explained, “A man may profess, ‘I am a Christian’ and not such in heart. A man may come out and say, ‘I am born again’ but not such in heart. Until trials come that you will know because trials and temptations are meant for our belief. The Holy Spirit uses our heart to guide our soul. Before we can be what we confess the Holy Spirit must use your heart to guide your soul”.

MORNING WATER FLUSHES AWAY LEG INJURY, DIABETES AND HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE.

Mrs. Theresa Abisi had come to Lagos to live with her son in order to get quality medical attention for her diabetes and high blood pressure challenges. One fateful morning, she had tried to board a tricycle to keep an appointment with her doctor when she had her leg injured after the tricycle rider had miscalculated thinking that she was already inside and attempted to move. She found herself on the ground in a pool of her own blood with her leg badly battered.

In the ensuing commotion, sympathisers had gathered round her while she wallowed in pain. While she was still on the floor, she saw a picture of the man of God, Prophet T.B. Joshua telling her to get up that she was free. Meanwhile, in order to address the situation medically, she was taken to a hospital where the doctor concluded that her leg had to be amputated. She had to crawl to get around.

She was brought to The SCOAN with gory pictures of her fatally battered leg. Her case got the attention of the man of God who gave her the Morning Water with the sum of N150, 000. After ministering the Morning Water, the leg healed while both the Diabetes and High Blood Pressure disappeared in Jesus’ name. Walking majestically amid songs of praise, she glorified the name of God for what He had done for her through the medium of the Morning Water. She advised people to continue to trust God in all situations.

YOKES OF PROSTITUTION, WITCHCRAFT AND ALCOHOLISM BROKEN

Miss Precious from Ghana got hooked into alcoholism, smoking and prostitution when she was only 15. It all started one fateful day while eating apples on her way to school, she had encountered a strange man who requested that she gave him the apple she was already eating. She obliged him the fresh one but he insisted on having the one she was already eating. After granting his request, that night, she dreamt of the man coming to have sex with her. When she woke up, she discovered blood on her bed sheet.

Back in school, she found herself hanging out with wild girls who introduced her into drinking and smoking. She was subsequently introduced to a big woman who took her with others on shopping sprees where they were gifted obscene dresses amid other ‘freebies’. But she was soon to discover that the devil gives no free gift. She was initiated into prostitution after the big woman took them to a herbalist who requested their pieces of their hair and nails for charms with which they could seduce men. Armed with charms, she destroyed many marriages and seduced big men like ministers, bank managers, lawyers and other wealthy people.

She eventually left the big woman but kept advancing in the world of prostitution. She was given a ring by the witchdoctor that enabled her to disappear whenever she found herself in difficulties. Her life continued to worsen on that destructive path. Her pictures were in many hotels and she had a lot of clients.

Her involvement in those evil ways became so deep that she began to see horrible creatures dance round her at night. In the confusion, she met a man who requested from her the only money she had on her. After giving the man the money, he told her that her sins were forgiven and instructed her to go to The SCOAN and be delivered.

At The SCOAN, she fell under the superior fire of the Holy Spirit and was delivered. Since then, her life has changed for the better. She advised the youth to desist from evil influences and hold on to God.

BONE FRACTURE HEALED

Healed from unable to Walk

Mrs. Aroh Juliet, a Civil Defence Officer had an accident which fractured her tibia and fibula. On getting to the hospital, the doctor advised that she should be taken to a bigger hospital. After receiving treatment at a Teaching Hospital for one month, she was placed on POP for eight months during which she could not do anything on her own as she was always on crutches until she visited The SCOAN.

At the Prayer Line, the man of God, seeing her on crutches walked up to her and commanded her to rise up and walk in the name of Jesus. Immediately, she rose up and walked for the first time unsupported in many months. Her crutches became useless under the powerful anointing through the man of God in Jesus’ name. An ecstatic Mrs. Aroh thanked God for His wonderful work in her life and called on people to believe that with God, all things are possible.

PROMOTED AFTER YEARS OF STAGNATION

Mrs. Madalisto Kamtambe, a Malawian Custom Officer had been suffering from career stagnation for over thirteen years. She had remained in one position for so long that feelings of inferiority and low self esteem began to set in as most of her colleagues were being promoted. She took her problems to many places in search for solution but all proved futile. Her disappointment got to a head and she made up her mind to visit The SCOAN.

At The SCOAN, she received the Morning Water and Morning Sticker which she prayerfully applied when she got back home. She would always minister the Morning Water declaring “This is the time for my breakthrough…I am promoted…I am the head and not the tail”. Then, she dreamt of two big lions chasing her but she conquered them using the Anointed Sticker. Subsequently, she received an invitation for an interview. She continued to declare her victory in Jesus’ name and asked God to favour her after ministering the Morning Water on her credentials. The moment she entered the interview room, everyone was smiling at her. She had prayed that if there was a question she had no answer to that God would give her special favour to scale through. To her surprise, the interviewers on a number of occasions completed the answers to the questions asked of her. She was promoted the following week from the lowest grade to a supervisor (team leader) of the company.

Thanking God for His miraculous intervention in her case, she advised people to put their trust in God and hand over every of their burdens to Him.

MIRACULOUS EMPLOYMENT THROUGH MORNING WATER MINISTRATION

Mr. Naidike Godwin from Bayelsa state was torn between disappointment and frustration as he had been jobless for four long years. All his efforts to get gainful employment remained futile. In order to avoid being idle, he accepted the offer of cable TV installation from a friend who was not happy with his situation. There were even instances when he had to engage in menial labour such as carrying cement blocks to make ends meet. But certainly, those were not the dreams of the young man. He knew that life had more promises for him.

After ministering the Morning Water, he saw the man of God, Prophet T.B. Joshua, in a dream urging him to keep pressing and never give up. True to the Prophet’s counsel in the dream, he received a call from Abuja inviting him for a job interview. In spite of all the challenges, God provided money through his uncle to enable him board a flight to Abuja for the interview. Getting to the company, without conducting an interview with him, he was handed a letter of employment as an Environmental Scientist.

Describing his breakthrough as a rare miracle and divine intervention, he thanked God and urged people especially the youths to continue pressing and believing in God no matter the situation they are passing through.

SEIZED PASSPORT RECOVERED THROUGH MORNING WATER AND STICKER MINISTRATION

Evangelist Samuel Emmanuel was playing professional football in Oman and decided to visit Dubai to get a car on lease from a car rental company. However, having been fortunate to purchase his own car, he decided to return the rented car to the car rental company. Instead of cancelling the deal after he had returned the car, the company insisted that the deal was still in effect and refused to close his account with them. The implication was that he had to continue paying for a car he had already returned. That development affected his football career as the case was reported to the Dubai Police who took him to the High Court. His passport was seized and as a result he could not travel out of Dubai even when clubs were on his trail. The case continued for seven years.

One fateful day while playing football, he was spotted by a Nigerian coach who had come to visit Dubai. Surprised by the level of talent and skills he displayed in the round leather game, the coach queried his decision to remain there. He explained his predicament to the coach who offered to assist him. The coach invited him to his hotel room where he gave him a bottle of the Morning Water and Morning Sticker and instructed him to pray with them.

Having received and prayed with the Morning Water and Sticker, his confidence soared as he made his way to the High Court, specifically to the Chief Judge’s office where his passport had been for seven years. On getting to the Chief Judge’s office, he openly ministered the Morning Water. Upon sighting the Morning Sticker that he was holding, the judge confessed of knowing the man of God, Prophet Τ.Β. Joshua. Immediately, the judge ordered seven policemen to search for Evangelist Emmanuel’s international passport. The passport was eventually found and returned to him, enabling him to continue his career.

Testifying at The SCOAN, evangelist Emmanuel also told the congregation how the Morning Water cured his strange stomach trouble. Exalting the name of God, he advised the youths to depend solely on God and imbibe the practice of ministering the Morning Water and using the Morning Sticker so that their talents will blossom.

PROPHETIC DELIVERANCE FROM THE YOKE OF PROSTITUTION

Ms. Gladys, a 29 year-old Cameroonian prostitute was at The SCOAN during Sunday Service prophecy time. The man of God, Prophet T.B. Joshua prophesied to the congregation that there was a harlot in the congregation who had come from the brothel. The man of God asked her to come out for deliverance. She knew the prophecy was for her but was reluctant to come out. But when the prophecy was repeated for the third time, she was compelled to come out. She was delivered in Jesus’ name and testified that all those evil urges had left her. She thanked God for her new lease of life and advised women to do nobler jobs for money rather than resort to prostitution. She also encouraged them to hold on to God at all times.

TEARS OF SORROW WIPED AWAY THROUGH MORNING WATER MINISTRATION

Mrs. Anna Dakudzi, a Ghanaian by birth and Irish by naturalisation, was caught in a web of litigation after her children were found by social authorities in Ireland playing unsupervised. Being a child-friendly country with very stringent laws pertaining to the welfare of children, Mrs. Dakudzi was invited for questioning by the Social Works department, which took custody of her three children. After three weeks of investigations and explanations on both sides, her children were released to her.

However, after one year, the authorities wrote her a letter requesting her presence in court concerning the case of negligence in discharging parental care to her children. In the midst of all the legal fireworks, she was able to get the Morning Water which she ministered on all her documents, especially her certificates which are usually scrutinised in such cases to ascertain her fitness for parenting and work.

Two days before the case came up in court, she had a dream where she found herself in the ocean surrounded by people who tried to strangle her.  Then, Prophet T.B. Joshua appeared coming down from the sky into their midst.  Immediately, the people trying to strangle her fainted and died.

To her greatest surprise, on the day she appeared in court for the case, the judge who had been so hostile initially, struck out and dismissed the case brought against her and vindicated her fitness to be a parent. Filled with inestimable joy, Mrs. Dakudzi praised God for what he has done for her and advised people to repose their trust in God and continue to do His will.

On Sunday March 22, 2015 the church service at The SCOAN created another great platform for the congregation to witness the outpouring of God’s power and glory. From the choral ministration of the Emmanuel Singers to the highly edifying message of the man of God, one thing was certain – the presence of God at The SCOAN cannot be over-emphasised! Testimony upon testimony, glory upon glory and favour inimitable, the people of God in the congregation, with their countenances animated by smiles from the depth of their hearts, gave glory, honour and adoration unto the KING OF KINGS in Whose hands lie the meaning of their lives.

Indeed, the Word of God is the foundation of our lives as Christians and remains the standard upon which our daily lives are built. Speaking on the BELIEF IN HIS WORD, Prophet T.B. Joshua engaged the congregation on salient factors that enhance our relationship with God. He defined the indispensability of God’s Word in the life of a true Christian and how the Faith Bracelet helps to connect the heart to God: “Many of us don’t know the importance of this Faith Bracelet. The Faith Bracelet will actually help you to reset your belief on the outside because on the outside, there are distractions. Even while you are sitting down, there are a lot of distractions. This will take the theme of the message – BELIEF IN HIS WORD. That is, believe in God’s Word”.

Discouraging the attitude of some Christians who allow their circumstances to determine what they believe, the man of God urged the congregation to realise the need to place God’s Word above every other consideration: “Many Christians today – their situation at hand determines what they believe. Paul preached the Word of faith in that book of Romans to the people in Rome. The Word of faith he preached is in two places – he told them that this Word is in two places: in their hearts to believe; in their mouths to confess”.

More so, the man of God explained the relationship between the Word of God and our faith without which it will be impossible to please God. In other words, it is only by professing our faith through the Word of God that we can unleash the power and presence of God in our lives: “Faith comes through the Word of Christ – in our hearts to obey, in our mouths to talk.  You can confess anything but what you believe is what you practice. It is what you believe that translates in the life you live. What I believe is what is translating in my life. You can’t just tell someone, ‘I am a Christian’ – you can say you are a Christian and not such in heart. What you believe in your heart influences your conduct and character”.

Concluding, the man of God urged the congregation to always engage their hearts in meditating on the Word of God as that would guarantee them constant connection with His will: “Even when you are making up, engage your heart. CHRONIC LARYNGITIS AND BRONCHITIS BOW TO THE ANOINTING WATER

For 19 long years, she had been battling with chronic Laryngitis and Bronchitis. Her whole life was reduced to an unending struggle with those ailments. Mrs. Diana Hara-Chileshe, from Zambia, would suffer severe congestions of the chest and throat which made a caricature of her job as a font desk officer. After several futile quests for solution, she eventually made up her mind to visit The SCOAN, the arena of liberty.

At The SCOAN, she was privileged to be at the Prayer Line where the man of God, Prophet T.B. GOODBYE BARRENNESS… WELCOME FRUIT OF THE WOMB!

Mr. and Mrs. Pius Okoh suffered untold humiliation and mockery in the hands of their community and family. Their inability to bear a child became their greatest undoing. They had visited various hospitals and places all to no avail. Diagnoses showed that Low Sperm Count, Candida and Hormonal Imbalance were some of the medical reasons for their condition.

One fateful day, while watching Emmanuel TV, the couple had witnessed the testimony of another barren woman whom God blessed with fruit of the womb through Prophet T.B. Joshua’s prayer. In 2013, Mr. David Nwankwo, a native of Abia state was beset with financial difficulties that made life very miserable for him. INFERTILITY WASHED AWAY THROUGH ANOINTING WATER 

Mr. Sebastian Onuorah came to The SCOAN with medical conditions that made him incapable of impregnating his wife. He had Staphylococcus infection and low sperm count. The social stigma associated with the inability of a couple to bear children continued to haunt him even as extended family members continued to mock him and his wife for their childlessness. Taking a leap of faith, he decided to seek divine intervention at The SCOAN.

When he got to The SCOAN, the man of God laid hands on him and gave him the Anointing Water which he went back home to minister together with his wife whenever they prayed. Within a short period, the expected manifestation of God’s power came to pass in a rather dramatic way. His wife had gone to her home-town to see her people on their invitation. Unknown to him, she had left their abode with pregnancy. It was the same mocker of their childless condition that called to inform him about his wife’s pregnancy. Testifying at The SCOAN in company of his wife and their baby, Miracle Onuorah, Mr. Sebastian urged the congregation to continue to trust and believe in God no matter the condition they find themselves in.

DESTINY RESTORED!

His life was tossed around by the winds of an unfortunate fate. His parents had separated when he could hardly fathom between good and bad and ended up living with a step-father whose addiction to alcohol took a negative toll his future. One day, his step father tried to kill him and in order to save his life, he ran away from home and became a wanderer. His life lost direction and purpose. Everything about his upbringing suggested he was destined to fail. Somehow, he found himself in Norway and struggled to settle in. He was jobless and had no known address but he had talents. To nurture those talents to the glory of God became his greatest challenge. Stevenson Simplice from the Republic of St. Martins tried in vain to get a residency permit and became more and more disappointed.

The challenges of his life brought him to The SCOAN in April 2014. He received the Anointing Water and prayer from the man of God and later went back to Norway. On the day he arrived Norway from Nigeria, he received a call inviting him to participate in a musical show which turned out to be his major turning point. Determined to excel and keeping faith in the power of God present in the Anointing Water medium, he went back to the Immigration and continued to press for his residency. To his shock, he got the residency. In fact, he was granted an unlimited residency. Thanking God for what He has done in his life, he admonished the congregation to continue to pray for The SCOAN. ANKLE INJURY HEALED THROUGH ANOINTING WATER MEDIUM

Mrs. Katarina Joshua Peter, a Slovakian nurse living in the UK and taking care of old people was confined to the use of crutches after she fell from the stairs and fractured her ankle. The doctor had said she would have to cope with their own usually long and painful recuperating regime. But she had a very big God that would do His things miraculously. Instead of resigning to fate, she continued to thank God in spite of the pain and incapacitation she was passing through. FRUIT OF THE WOMB GREANTED THROUGH THE MORNING WATER MEDIUM

For ten years, Mr. and Mrs. Okafor wandered in the wilderness of childlessness. They doctors had diagnosed them with Candida infection, Staphylococcus and Low Sperm Count. All efforts to get help from herbalists proved fruitless until they found their way to The SCOAN, the final bus stop.

Sunday March 29, 2015 witnessed the commemoration of Jesus’ triumphant entry into Jerusalem with the Palm Sunday celebrations. The children at The SCOAN gave a symbolic enactment of that event as one of them rode on a donkey amidst shouts of Hosanna! The congregation was poised for an encounter with God even as they remained excited in anticipation of the showers of His blessings upon their lives. As usual, the Emmanuel Singers were on hand to dish out melodious tunes much to the edification of the entire congregation.

The man of God, Prophet T.B. Joshua spoke on the dynamics of the Word of God and its everlasting significance in the life of the Christian who desires to live above board in the Christian race: “You begin to believe the Word of God when it dominates your heart. There is no amount of the Word of God in your mouth that can influence your conduct and character. It is when the Word dominates your heart that you can go forth and go on in the discharge of your Christian duty”.

Continuing, Prophet T.B. Joshua observed that in teaching and preaching the Word, it must be in accordance with the Spirit of God. “The words we use in counsel, teaching and preaching must be in accordance with God’s Spirit. The more you think more about what you read, the more your heart acts upon the Word.”

On how we can nurture our faith, the man of God opined that we can only do so by steadily dwelling on God and His Word. According to him, when we look up to God in the totality of our affairs and build our trust around Him, it is only then that His power can be manifested in our lives: “How do we have faith? We have faith when we know God. Faith continues to grow as we continue to look unto God, look at God, and meditate on God. If you know God, you will simultaneously have faith. It grows”.

OBESITY CURED THROUGH WATER THERAPY

He had resorted to consuming a cocktail of pharmaceuticals as well as Chinese tea on the advice of friends who showed concern for his condition. Mr. Mutimba Zulu, a Zambian national suffered obesity and was torn between finding a solution and managing the debilitating effects of his condition. He would wake up tired and sapped of energy. On some occasions, he would dose off in public much to his own embarrassment. His work life was affected as it was always difficult for him getting up from the bed. His weight was no doubt his greatest undoing.

In the midst of his frustrations, he had encountered the man of God, Prophet T.B. Joshua speaking about water therapy on Emmanuel TV and had decided to key into the directives of the man of God – to do water therapy every day. To his greatest surprise, things took a dramatically encouraging turn. His weight began to diminish while a new surge of energy popped up. A man who had once suffered constipation and excessive weakness now bubbles with energy and the zest of youth. He now enjoys waking up and preparing for work, a scenario that was once a huge burden.

Thanking God for what He had done in his life using the water therapy medium, he advised people to desist from consuming drugs that claim to offer solutions for obesity and instead embrace the instructions of the man of God on water therapy. He also testified to God’s intervention in his eviction saga when the landlord of his rented shop gave him an eviction notice, only for God to provide him a way out as he secured and bought a new property which he renovated and now uses as his own.

DOUBLE HEALING THROUGH MORNING WATER

Mrs. Nwandu Comfort Okonkwo, a Nigerian living in Holland had two health problems that gave her serious concern. She had a tooth problem which doctors diagnosed as a bacterial infection. She was avoided by people because of the offensive odour that emanated from her mouth whenever she talked. She suffered headaches, jaw pains and used all kinds of medication but never got any results. Even her doctors had suggested the extraction of her tooth in order to thoroughly clean the inside of her mouth so that the bacterial infection and odour could stop.

Sceptical about the viability of the tooth extraction operation, she made up her mind to visit The SCOAN believing that God would intervene in her case. At The SCOAN, the man of God gave her a bottle of the Morning Water which she continued to apply while asking God to visit her as He had been visiting the multitudes who continually gave testimonies at The SCOAN.

When she got back to Holland, she called on God to manifest Himself in her situation declaring that if He could deliver many people from worse situations, then hers was a minor case. Establishing her total faith in God and His ability to heal her, she began to administer the Morning Water prayerfully. After three months of ministering the Morning Water, she went back to her doctor for a check-up. To her joyous amazement, the doctor declared her free from the infection that had greatly embarrassed her. Her elation knew no bounds!

Mrs Nwandu Comfort Okonkwo

Testifying before the congregation at The SCOAN, Mrs. Okonkwo also recounted the restoration of her hearing through the same Morning Water ministration. According to her, she had grown up with an ear ailment from which puss always came out. Because, nobody paid attention to her predicament, she grew up carrying that burden until it affected her hearing with the right ear. While battling with her right ear, her hearing with the left ear also suffered some setback after she was involved in an accident in which her left ear got perforated while deafness stared her in the face!

In order to get some help, she had gone to the hospital after the accident to correct the problem with her left ear. The doctors mistakenly operated on her right ear claiming that it was worse-affected from their diagnosis. After undergoing operations on both ears, she still could not hear. Her last hope was the Morning Water.

Just as she did in the case of her tooth infection, she called on God to prove Himself through the Morning Water. She appreciated the wonderful things He had done for other people in the past and declared that her case would not be different. With faith and absolute belief in God, she prayerfully applied the Morning Water on her ears. One day, after returning from work, she had put on her television but discovered that she could hear extremely louder than normal. Even when she turned down the volume, she still could hear the voice from the television. She also discovered she could hear the voices of people outside her room. That was how she got to know that her hearing has been restored. To further confirm the miracle, she put a call through to her friend and heard everything from the other side. To God be the glory!

In the spirit of thanksgiving and praise, she urged people all over the world to believe that nothing is beyond God stressing that He will always be there for those who put their trust in Him.

REDEPLOYMENT SECURED THROUGH MORNING WATER/STICKER MINISTRATION

For three years, Miss Margaret Philip had tried in vain to secure redeployment from her northern Nigeria office branch to Lagos. But each time, she failed. As a contract staff with one of the Nigerian banks, she had been posted to Katsina State since 2012. She had contacted her superiors over there concerning her desire to be redeployed back to Lagos but they all told her that the final decision on whether she would be granted redeployment rested with their overall superior based in Lagos. Bothered by the situation of things, she decided to visit The SCOAN in search of a solution.

At the SCOAN, she received the Morning Water together with the Morning Sticker which she ministered as she prepared to keep an appointment with her overall superior in Lagos. One thing that surprised her was the pleasant conduct of her overall superior who only asked her why she wanted to redeploy to Lagos. And because of the power of God in the Morning Water medium, she found favour in the sight of her overall superior. To God be all the honour and praise, after that encounter with her overall superior, she was in church at The SCOAN when she received a call she could not pick because of the church service. After church service, she called the number back and was informed by another superior colleague that her request for redeployment to Lagos was granted.

In the end, she was redeployed to Lagos against all expectations. It was an ironic twist of fate through the power of God as some of her colleagues who were permanent staff approached her to help them facilitate their own redeployment through the woman (overall superior) who approved hers. It was like the case of a slave being sought after by a master for help. This can only happen when God is involved.

Expressing her bewilderment with the “magical” manner in which the Morning Water works, she advised people to have faith and believe in the medium because it works wonders in Jesus’ name.

FRUIT OF THE WOMB GRANTED THROUGH THE ANOINTING WATER MINISTRATION

Mrs. Vera Stijf, a Nigerian living in Holland had been searching for the fruit of the womb for eight years without success. She had undergone many fertility treatments without any positive result. She had even tried the In-vitro fertilisation on six occasions without achieving results. Sunday April 5, 2015 was Easter day and the special service at The SCOAN was set aside to commemorate the supreme sacrifice of the One who bore the sins of the world on the cross. It was a day to embark on sober reflections; a time to determine our relationship with the risen Christ who came to free the world from sin and sorrow and still lives in our midst through the Word. The Emmanuel Singers inspired untamed praise and embellished the day with melodious but thought-provoking tunes that will linger in the memories of passionate worshippers.

In a deep message, the man of God, Prophet T.B. Joshua spoke on the dual essence of the Word of faith. According to the man of God, the Word of faith exists on two cardinal platforms: in our hearts to believe and in our mouths to confess. That is the only way we can bring the Word into real action. Citing Psalm 107:20, the man of God observed: “He sent out His Word and healed them…” This means, His Word is quite different from the word you are used to. He sent forth His Word. He did not say, “He sent forth word” but, “He sent forth His Word”. If it is Christ’s Word, it is the Word of the Holy Spirit. Before you can make use of His Word, your soul must be guided towards it. When you want to speak His Word, your soul must be guided towards it. It means your spirit must act upon the Word”.

Symbolically speaking, Prophet T.B. Joshua analysed the Word of God and how it works in relation to the mystery of faith. “After you have planted the Seed – the imperishable Seed that is the Word of God, you believe it is growing before you see it grow. Before the Word of God is planted, it must be known, received and steadfastly trusted. It is not just to plant the Word. For the Word to dominate your heart, the Word must be known, received and trusted. This is faith, which is the evidence of things not seen. In Christ Jesus, we have perfect evidence of faith for any one of us to get rid of our doubts. You can get rid of your doubts by the Word of the Holy Spirit”.

Conclusively, the man of God gave the scriptural instruction for the workability of the Word in the life of anyone: “The Word is not planted until it is known, received and trusted. It is settled. You can never believe in Christ Jesus until the Word is known, received and trusted. When you receive it, you grow. When you continue to hear the Word, you grow.”

BLESSED WITH A JOB AND SAVED FROM A PLANE CRASH THROUGH PRAYER WITH THE GOOD MORNING STICKER

Miss Corrreitia Nguaiah, a Gabonese law graduate was tempted to take her life as a result of the unpalatable frustrations that greeted her inability to secure a job for almost three years after leaving school. In the midst of her tribulations, she headed to Nigeria to seek divine solution at The SCOAN.

MISS NGUIAH

Fortunately for her, she was able to meet the man of God, Prophet T.B. Joshua who prayed for her and declared her free. Two weeks after she had returned from Nigeria, she dreamt that she had secured a job and gave thanks to God when she woke up claiming the victory she had seen in the dream. In physical manifestation of her dream, she received two different job invitations within a space of seven days and was left to grapple with the best choice. She eventually settled for one and today serves as Administration Officer in a company.

Thanking God for turning her situation around, she also testified to His miraculous intervention in an already hopeless situation when a plane she had boarded to the Republic of Benin en route to Nigeria, suddenly developed a fault and started to descend rapidly to the emotional undoing of the entire passengers and crew members. According to her, most passengers had started crying because the manner in which the aircraft descended elicited the highest feelings of hopelessness.

Resigned to fate but with a whimper of hope in God’s ability to do all things, she clutched her Good Morning Sticker and prayed fervently for divine intervention in a situation when paranoia had begun to set in – a passenger had loosened his seat belt and had attempted to escape. Where to? Only God knew. Suddenly, the troubled aircraft regained its aerial composure as a result of the prayers offered by Miss Nguaiah. The rest is absolute praise to the Most High God.

By the time they landed, some of the air hostesses marvelled at the fervency with which she prayed while one who was visibly shaken by the incident burst into tears of joy. It was naturally unthinkable that an aircraft that was on the brink of a nosedive could be stabilised mid-air. God alone can muster the power to do that. Beaming with resplendent joy, she magnified the Holy of Holies for His intervention and advised the audience: “What seems impossible to man is possible to God. We should call on Him in times of trouble and He will answer us.”

DELIVERED FROM DEMONIC POSSESSION

She had eaten the food given to her by an acquaintance and never suspected that the food gift had been contaminated with the charms of a witch doctor in Sudan who had used her name to conjure some demonic abracadabra. For four years, she battled to save herself from the molestations of a demon. Soon after eating that food Mrs. Lucia Haile, an Eritrean residing in Sweden lost her mind and went almost spiritually berserk under the diabolical influence of the bewitched food she had eaten. One early morning as early as 5am, she woke up to see a demon that appeared with a knife asking her to collect the knife and use it to stab her husband.

“The demon was urging me on to kill my husband. It was demanding blood and I could sense that it was desperately blood-thirsty”, she said. One day, while her husband was away at work, she was at home with her fourteen month-old baby when the demon appeared with the same knife and asked her to kill her child. The demon kept on pressing her to shed blood until she became tired and confused and decided to open up to her sister based in Eritrea. Her sister made an arrangement for her to see a priest in Eritrea reputed to have travelled extensively and in possession of the solution to such spiritual challenges. To convince her of his ability, the priest had called to say he knew what was wrong with her and that she only needed to come over to Eritrea.

When she got to Eritrea, the priest used some so-called “holy water” to clean her body, an action that did not yield any positive result. She was thereafter taken to a lake where she was bound and had to be dipped inside and lifted out to free her from the marauding demon. She was given a concoction made of sheep’s droppings and other vegetation to bath with for two months – all to no avail. It got to the extent that she had to bath with the blood of sheep in a bid to cleanse her from the contamination of the demon.

Back in Sweden, she encountered Christians who decided to help her by introducing her to Emmanuel TV. One of the Christians told her to go to The SCOAN for a lasting solution to her problem. When she got to The SCOAN, she was placed at the Prayer Line. As soon as she sighted the man of God, the demon told her to attack and kill him. But because the power of God supersedes all powers, the demon was brought down to its knees when the man of God laid hands on her. The demon within her came crashing down as she received her deliverance, in Jesus’ name.

Elated and full of thanksgiving, Mrs. Haile advised people, especially those who are experiencing similar problems to come to Jesus and receive their salvation. “Jesus is the way, the truth and the light”, she said.

MIRACULOUS CAREER PROMOTION THROUGH ANOINTING WATER MINISTRATION

For seven years, Mrs. Rose Nasimolo experienced career stagnation working with one of the international banks based in Uganda. She remained in the same spot for so long and was not happy with the state of things. Before her very eyes, new employees would come in, get promoted and move on with their lives while she remained rooted on the same spot. For those seven years, her rating was C3 from the possible best of A1.

Even though she was posted to a unit that was considered the lot of people who never did well, she was convinced in her mind that God was working out something. In 2014, she visited The SCOAN in the company of her husband. They were fortunate to receive the Anointing Water after receiving prayer at the Prayer Line. Before they departed Nigeria, one of the wise men assured them that God was already working out something good for them. Mrs. Nasimolo keyed into that assurance with a resounding AMEN.

By the time she got back to Uganda, a pleasant surprise was waiting for her. One month later, precisely April, 2014, she got a promotion after seven years. By the end of 2014, she had attained the highest job rating of 1A with six units to manage as a proof of her competence and performance.

Praising God for the breakthrough, Mrs. Nasimolo said she applied the Anointing Water every morning when she was on her way to work. According to her, she always prayed asking God to take control of her in both her utterances and actions while ministering the Anointing Water. ACADEMIC PASSION RESTORED THROUGH ANOINTING WATER/STICKER MINISTRATION

Miss Yereke Motlogelwa is a student from Botswana who found it very hard to concentrate on her studies. Each time she tried to read her books, other distractive attractions popped their ugly heads into her mind. She would go on and on clubbing and drinking with friends to the detriment of her academic endeavours. For her, those distractions were more interesting and enjoyable because of the momentary pleasures that came with them. Her greatest problem was that she could not resist the urge for the nightlife whenever it arose.

Sometimes, her desire to study would be overtaken by the internet. She would chat endlessly with friends on Facebook and WhatsApp. Any moment her mind reminded her of the need to study, she would dose off into the stream of sleep. If she managed to read at all, it would be magazines and other soft-sell materials rather than her school books. All these culminated in her low performance rating in school. Bothered about the precarious path her life was towing, she made up her mind to visit The SCOAN in May, 2013.

MISS YEREKE

At The SCOAN, she was privileged to meet the man of God, Prophet T.B. Joshua who prayed for her and gave her the Anointing Water. As she ministered the Anointing Water, she realised that her interest for those distractions waned while her desire and zeal for her studies increased. She became more and more attached to her studies rebuffing the invitations of friends who wanted her to hang out with them. Her life took a new and promising turn for the better. And having discovered the power of Jesus Christ in the Anointing Water and Anointing Sticker, she would minister the former on herself while pasting the latter on her books. The result soon came. She scored a distinction in her exams and was recognised as the best student.

Praising God for His wonderful intervention in her case, she advised youths, especially students, to remain focused in their studies and avoid friends who would want to lure them away from their illustrious endeavours with distractions such as clubbing, drinking and social media.

HEALED OF LUMBAR SPONDYLOSIS

He had woken up at midnight and had wanted to go to the bathroom but realised he could not get out of his bed. His walking capacity was threatened. On seeing his doctor, he was diagnosed with lumbar spondylosis. His condition became very bad as he could not carry out his official duties as a Town Planner. All the medications prescribed for him did not work and he became very confused and sad having to make do with a lumbar corset which was a burden on him. His wife’s business provided succour for the family’s upkeep while he battled with his condition.

MR EBIKEME

Somehow, friends introduced him to Emmanuel TV and he started praying along with the man of God, Prophet T.B. Joshua. To his surprise, as he prayed along with the man of God, he felt some relief and reckoned that he would be completely healed if he visited The SCOAN. True to his belief, he came to The SCOAN and was privileged to be at the Prayer Line where the man of God prayed for him. According to him, he felt something like an electric shock as soon as the man of God touched him and immediately he felt very light and discovered he could walk unaided to the glory of God.

Exalting God and His healing prowess, he advised people to learn to trust God rather than believe in their own strength because, like the Word of God says, “By strength shall no man prevail”.

EXCEPTIONAL CAREER TRANSFORMATION THROUGH MORNING WATER MINISTRATION

Mrs. Nancy Okwengu was very optimistic about securing a good job after she had graduated from university in 2006 and had even obtained a post-graduate diploma to add to her credentials but all she could get was a contract job that was as uncertain as the future. Her initial term at the contract job was two weeks. From two weeks, it was renewed for one month. Even though she loved the job,

Though it was a hard decision to take, when the time came, she left the job and looked forward to a better one.

While she waited for a new job, she visited The SCOAN in December 2014 and attended the New Year Candlelight Service where she keyed into the prophetic declarations of career renewal by the man of God, Prophet T.B. Joshua. On getting to her native Kenya, she browsed the internet and discovered a job vacancy that greatly appealed to her. Coincidentally, it was the same organisation where she had worked years back. Against all doubts about her capability in the face of competition, she applied for the job and looked up to God for a miracle. By this time, her faith had been immensely boosted with the recent visit to The SCOAN.

Equipped with unbeatable faith, she would minister the Anointing Water on her credentials, placing the Anointing Sticker in-between them while waiting on God to show His power. Within her, she had the strong conviction that she would be called for the interview and would emerge the best candidate. Three weeks later, according to her faith, she was invited to attend an interview for the exalted position of Regional Communications Director with an international NGO.

On the day of the interview, the devil tried to punctuate her joy with sorrow. But God was on the throne. Her son who was usually very boisterous and full of health became the target. He was emitting puss from his ears much to the disorientation of his parents. Because of the level of puss from her child’s ear, she had to appeal to her husband to drive her down to the interview venue with the intention of taking him to the hospital after the interview. While ironing the dress she was to put on later for the interview, she ministered the Anointing Water on it and asked God to take control of everything she was going to do and say. When they hit the road, the traffic situation was terrible. Through prayer with the Anointing Water, she was able to get to the interview venue in time.

At the interview, she also counted her Faith Bracelet in meditation believing that God would favour her. To her greatest surprise, all the people on the interview panel favoured her. Five days after the interview, she was offered employment as Regional Communications Director with the international NGO. After the interview that day, she discovered that her ailing son’s condition improved dramatically to the glory of God.

Displaying her employment letter with benefits to the congregation, she advised them to aim for greater heights and never be comfortable wherever they are.

To conclude the service, the man of God Prophet T.B. Joshua raised some powerful prayer points and faith confessions. All those in attendance and watching all over the world confessed, “I have been released to where I belong!” They vowed to keep up their confession of faith during the week, in Jesus’ name.

The Sunday service of April 12, 2015 was loaded with spiritual food for thought. The richness of the Word and its everlasting impact on the lives of Christians were echoed all through the service period. The excellent praise and worship songs that emanated from the choristers prepared the atmosphere for the congregants to absorb the spiritual nutrients dished out by the man of God for their edification.

Citing the injunction of Jesus to Christians in John 16:33 (“I have told you these things, that in me you may have peace, in this world you will have tribulations, But take heart, I have overcome the world.”), the man of God, Prophet T.B. Joshua admonished Christians on the need to realise the significance of their relationship with God. According to the man of God, troubles will always come but must not be allowed to separate us from our God. Hence, our reverence to God must be at all times not only in moments when we are blessed: “The Bible says, when everything seems not alright, bless Him, honour Him. He promises to honour those who honour Him. When certain things seem not alright with you, when you bless Him, He will bless you greatly… When you are sick, when the business is not going well or bad news comes and at that moment you bless Him, He promises to bless you greatly. If you are waiting to bless God when your trouble is over, you are not proving your son-ship. This is the challenge we are having. Some will say, “When I get the contract, I will give testimony”, meaning you are waiting for the contract before coming to give testimony.

Speaking further, Prophet T.B. Joshua reminded Christians that the essence of trials and tribulations is to strengthen their faith and not to destroy or punish them. “Your tribulation cannot stop you but rather improve you. Your sickness cannot impair you but improve you. Sometimes, our situation does not improve us financially but spiritually. What you derive from that situation is that your Christian life becomes stronger. When your business collapses, you are expecting the business to turn around, not knowing that it is your spiritual life that the Lord wants to strengthen”.

The man of God stated that in God’s communication with His children, He often uses foolish things to communicate. If God does not want you to go to work because of what will happen there, you may see snakes, pythons on the road. You will say, “I cannot go to work”. Snake is a foolish thing.

In conclusion, Prophet T.B. Joshua observed that a true Christian is known only by the dominance of God’s Word in his/her heart and not by the words he/she speaks: “We can know you are a Christian when the Word of God dominates your heart. No amount of Word that dominates our mouth can make us a Christian. It is when it is dominating our heart that it influences our conduct and character”.

During the service, people came forward to testify of God’s miraculous power in His life.

LIFTED FROM CAREER GRASS TO GRACE THROUGH MORNING WATER MINISTRATION

Mr. Olasegha Oluwole Festus, a native of Ondo State was troubled by the sad realization that his career appeared gloomy and inexplicably discouraging. As an accountant, it was unthinkable that he remained in one spot for almost ten years without any clear-cut prospect of promotion both in official and financial terms. The scenario did not augur well with him as he became emotionally disturbed. In his bid to seek God’s intervention, he visited The SCOAN where the man of God prayed for him and gave him the Morning Water.

On reaching home, Mr. Festus ministered the Morning Water in passionate prayer to God to set him free from the strangulating career stagnancy that was tormenting his life. Inspired by his huge faith in God, he also ministered the Morning Water on his credentials and looked forward to a miracle with great hope. Soon after he had ministered the Morning Water, he was invited for an interview by another organization. The interview invitation came as a huge relief to him because he had confessed to his wife that he intended to step into the year 2015 with a new job.

On the day of the interview, he prayed to God reminding Him of the wonderful works He has done in the lives of people and praising His capacity to intervene in his own very case. He attended the interview and waited expectantly for God’s favour. Two weeks after the interview, he was called to come for his employment letter. Even though he was employed as Higher Account Officer, he was promoted a few days after resumption to Senior Account Officer in the most dramatic of manners. How it happened remains mystery even to him. Thanking God at The SCOAN for wiping away his financial woes and restoring his career, Mr. Festus admonished the congregation to hold on to God, irrespective of the challenges they may face stressing that He will see them.

DELIVERED FROM THE SPIRITS OF ANGER AND INSATIABILITY

Mrs. Fezeka Florence Olafusi would beat her husband, break things and go wild whenever the spirit of uncontrollable anger came visiting her. Her unpleasant attitudes had seen her lose her job on several occasions and had made her unable to cope with marriage. Mr. Clement Olafusi, a native of Ondo state, Nigeria is her third husband. He had also had enough of her overbearing attitudes. Beyond her anger, Mrs. Florence Olafusi had other challenges that required divine intervention. She was insatiable in many ways. Whatever her husband did for her was not enough, no matter how well he tried to satisfy her.

Her life pattern suggested some spiritual burden that needed to be lifted. She had even visited many places in search of deliverance but all her efforts yielded no solution.  Thus, a visit to The SCOAN became inevitable. As soon as she arrived at The SCOAN, her journey to redemption had begun. Seated in the auditorium in the midst of other worshippers, the man of God, Prophet T.B. Joshua, received some prophetic insights about her life and called her out. He prophesied to her that there were beads she usually wore which had affected her life rather negatively by making her insatiable in many ways. Confirming the prophecy of the man of God, she was instantly delivered. As soon as the man of God laid hands on her in Jesus’ name, she fell to the floor, vomiting blood and poisonous substances.

Testifying before the congregation, Mrs. Olafusi, thanked God for delivering her from her terrible attitudes.  According to her, the husband tried his best to please her but still, she was not satisfied. The husband was the one taking care of the baby, doing the cooking and washing yet, all this was not enough. These resulted in marital problems. On a particular day, they both engaged in a fight and she gave the husband a severe beating. However, when the husband hit her once, she reported him to the police and he was put in detention. He was about to be sentenced to five years in prison when she was pacified by the pastor of her church to withdraw the case. She also confirmed that the beads which the man of God spoke about were actually given to her by the woman who brought her up. Her husband, Mr Olafusi also confirmed the prophecy. He said before his wife’ deliverance at The SCOAN, he had wondered why she was never satisfied all through the two years they had been married. He told of how the wife was controlling his life. He had done his best to please her in all areas all to no avail. He became so frustrated that he went back to the life of drinking alcohol which he had dropped earlier. This progressed to the point where he got drunk on a daily basis just because of the problems in his marriage. He also narrated the incident that led him to police custody as earlier spoken by the wife, until the pastor of their church came to bail him out. Today, he is testifying of the tremendous changes in her since she received the prophetic message and deliverance in Jesus’ name. Now, she relates with him in a respectful manner. For Mrs. Olafusi, she remains grateful to God for giving her a new lease of life and has urged the congregation to depend on God in all their life battles.

YOKE OF ABJECT POVERTY LIFTED THROUGH MORNING WATER MINISTRATION

Mrs. Daria Makaramba, a Tanzanian national was battling to free her life from the shackles of abject poverty. As a fashion designer, she had registered her company since 2006 but could not make much progress business wise. She had only two sewing machines and was operating at the corridor of her home. The discouraging nature of things instigated her decision to travel down to Nigeria in search of spiritual revival at The SCOAN.

Just like many other earnest seekers of God’s favour, she arrived at The SCOAN where she was given the Anointing Water. Back home in Tanzania, Mrs. Makaramba continued to minister the Anointing Water, praying fervently to God to turn her situation around. As her prayers and the ministration of the Morning Water intensified, things began to take a promising shape. Her financial life was revived and her fashion designing business boomed. She purchased ten industrial sewing machines, employed fifteen workers and rented a premise of about 400 square meters.

Customers started chasing her confessing that they had never seen her before. It was obvious to her that some spiritual veil had concealed her glory. Business began to boom and she soon became financially independent. She is now the designer for ministers, companies, members of parliament and other public figures. She even has a VIP lounge in her office. She has participated in national and international trade fairs and fashion exhibitions and her designs have gained great reputation in Tanzania. She was also awarded with different certificates of The Highest Standard of Display and Best Displayer. She owns two cars and can now pay her children’s school fees. To God be the glory! She encouraged the congregation thus: “When God is involved in your matter, nothing else matters”.

CAREER TURN-AROUND/JOB RESTORATION THROUGH MORNING WATER MINISTRATION

For four years Mr. Anthony Danjuma experienced untold hardship as a result of joblessness. For a father who has mouths to feed at home, it was not the best of experiences. All efforts to secure another job proved futile. He had written series of applications to various organizations without response. Somehow, he managed to carry on with his life hoping that things would take a positive turn. In the thick and thin of his trials, he had encountered Emmanuel TV in a friend’s house. Having watched the awe-inspiring miracles televised via the channel, he decided to install the decoder in his own house. He continued to watch and as his faith grew he decided to take a step and come down to The SCOAN.

At The SCOAN, he received the Morning Water and returned to his base in Kaduna state. Once home, he brought out all his credentials and ministered the Morning Water on them asking God to connect him to a good job. Afterwards, he received an advert on his phone about a job offer and applied asking God to be with the application. Some time later, he was invited for an interview by the organization.

On the day of the interview, he prayed fervently and ministered the Morning Water before leaving home. At the interview venue while it was about time for him to be called in, he quickly dashed to the restroom and once again ministered the Morning Water asking God to show him favour. As soon as he stepped into the interview room, he noticed that the entire panel received him very well. The interview lasted for fifteen minutes after which he left for home. He later received a call from the organization inviting him to a second interview where the few shortlisted candidates were expected to see the chairman and directors of the company in order for them to determine the best candidate.

At the interview venue, when it was approaching time for him to be ushered in to see the chairman, he again dashed to the restroom and ministered the Morning Water telling God to make him successful. To his surprise, upon entering the chairman’s office, he looked at him and told him that he preferred him for the job despite the fact that two others were still waiting outside for the interview. This declaration by the chairman confused the directors and other members of the panel who quickly alerted the chairman that two more people were still waiting outside for the same interview. The chairman insisted that he wanted Mr Danjuma for the job and his appointment letter should be prepared immediately. Today, he is the head of Clearing and Forwarding in an International Shipping Company.

Testifying to God’s intervention in his case, he urged the congregation to put their trust in God.

TALENT/CAREER DISCOVERED… FRUIT OF THE WOMB GRANTED THROUGH PRAYER VIA EMMANUEL TV

Mr. Happy Mandala had left his native Malawi to South Africa in search of greener pastures but life abroad became almost hellish. With a wife and daughter to take care of, he had no option but to depend on the goodwill of friends. Somewhere along the line, he got a job as a professional welder. The joy that came with that job soon vanished after he was sacked. Life returned to its bad side once again. After a while, a new and interesting job surfaced for him and his wife with provision for their transportation. They had hardly settled down before the job hit the brick wall. This time, certain provisions like transportation were being withdrawn gradually until he was told that his services were no longer needed. The young man wondered why his life’s happiness was being threatened by the vicious circle of setbacks at the brink of breakthrough.

It was in the centre of his life’s storm that he had a dream in which the man of God, Prophet T.B. Joshua appeared to him and instructed him to try another thing with his hands. After that encounter, he remembered his father’s love for Emmanuel TV and decided to install the decoder in his own house. As a measure of his faith and enthusiasm to prosper, he began to join the man of God in prayer via the Emmanuel TV channel claiming the prophetic declaration of “Let there be light in your career”. He then noticed that the idea of painting was taking deep roots in his heart but wondered how he could make a living with painting which he trivialized.

Within a short while, he was offered a painting contract from which he got the money he used to buy his first car. After some months, he was able to acquire two more cars. Within the few months of his painting career, he has achieved what he could not achieve financially, spiritually and materially for over five years as a professional welder. He has also confessed that a family jinx has been broken through his transformation. According to him, he became the first person from his family to travel by air and has vowed that his own children will follow the trend. Praising God for his transformation, he also testified to the miracle God wrought in the life of a friend who stood by him during his struggles. His friend and the wife, though comfortable, were battling with the problem of barrenness for some years until he introduced them to Emmanuel TV through which they prayed with the man of God for the fruit of the womb. Afterwards, the couple met as husband and wife and she became pregnant. To God be the glory, after nine months she delivered a bouncing baby boy. Sharing his testimony at The SCOAN with humorous enthusiasm, Mr. Mandala advised the congregation, especially the youths, to embrace Jesus.

FROM FINANCIAL DIFFICULTY TO BUSINESS PROSPERITY THROUGH MORNING WATER MINISTRATION

For Mrs. Michelle Mbilizi, a Malawian national, it was double tragedy. While she was battling with financial problems and imminent business failure, her husband was unemployed and could not provide for the family. A woman who once boasted of an array of shops was only able to have one functioning. It dawned on her that something urgent had to be done. The decision to visit The SCOAN was inspired by her belief in the wonderful works God is doing through his servant, Prophet T.B. Joshua.

The visit to The SCOAN was interesting especially because the couple received the Morning Water. When she returned to her country, she ministered the Morning Water and things began to change. Her car hire business which had been lying inert began to boom. A big company hired four of her cars on a contractual basis for one year. As things continued to look up, she embarked on the construction of a lodge in Lilongwe. She also acquired 2.1 acres of land to build a hotel by the beach side.

As she continued to minister the Morning Water, she was able to establish an exclusive furniture shop measuring about 400 meters. In confirmation of God’s favour upon her through the Morning Water medium, she submitted a tender and applied for a government contract. Before submitting the documents, she had ministered the Morning Water on them. To her greatest joy, she was awarded the huge contract that she applied for. Soon after, she was awarded with two more contracts. Mrs. Mbilizi was also awarded 150 square meters shop space in an internationally recognised mall and in addition she was allowed to choose her preferred spot for another furniture shop within the mall.

Now, she has her boutique and also a furniture shop at a prime location in an International Mall. Her boutique is one of the biggest in the mall. Her husband who was also jobless is now the Deputy High Commissioner of Malawi to India after ministering the Anointing Water, in Jesus’ name.

She advised the congregation to get the Morning Water so as to witness the wonder-working power of God in their lives.

During the Sunday Service we also witnessed miracles of healings, deliverances and prophesies in the lives of people from all walks of life and the name of Jesus Christ was indeed glorified.

Sunday April 19, 2015 witnessed an outpouring of the Spirit of God during The SCOAN Live Sunday Service. With songs of praise and worship radiating throughout the entire auditorium and putting the congregants on their dancing feet in celebration of God’s benevolence, the Emmanuel Singers prepared the way for the man of God to impart the Word on the minds of God’s people.

Citing the admonition of Jesus to His faithful in John 16:33 (“I have told you all this so that you may have peace in me. Here on earth you will have many trials and sorrows but take heart because I have overcome the world.”), the man of God reminded Christians of the inevitability of trials in the Heavenly race, stressing the fact and cardinal truth that only in Jesus would the world find peace, redemption and triumph. But before these are attained, there must always be a season of trials and sorrows even as our Lord was put through from Golgotha to Calvary.

“Your trials could be limitation in progress, setback, isolation or any foolish thing. Jesus is saying in this Scripture, ‘Even though the world is a danger place, in Me, you will be saved – I will keep you safe. Even though the world is a danger zone, a danger place, in me, I will keep you safe’. It means Jesus is closer to you than you, yourself”.

For those who are without Jesus and who have become more engrossed in their problems and challenges, the man of God said they are missing the privilege of enjoying the benefits which being under the cover of Jesus offers. As we cast our minds upon Jesus, He has promised to carry our burdens.

“If you are without Jesus, you will always be conscious of problems, fear instead of being conscious of Jesus. People are conscious of fear and problems but not of Jesus today. People are no longer conscious of God. If the way you are conscious of your situation was the way you were conscious of God, your life would not be like this.”

Commenting on the recent xenophobic attacks in South Africa, Prophet T.B. Joshua observed that every country of the world has its peculiar challenges. This assertion brings us to the fact that even countries pass through trials in order to mature spiritually. It also shows that all human hassles are vanity because those who have fled their countries to South Africa have now realized that the real greener pasture lies in running unto God.

The man of God therefore urged all Africans to come together as one to fight the common enemy, satan. “The wound of one should be the wound of all. Whatever happens in any African country, we should be concerned and come together. We should see it as ours. Every continent is like a human being. One country may be leg, mouth, head etc. If anything happens to a part of the body, the whole body will feel it. That is the way it should be. Today, if anything happens, we evacuate our people. Why can’t we come together to redeem our continent? Africa, unite”.

Concluding, the man of God urged the congregation to use their faith to put a demand on the anointing as he took authority in Jesus’ name to lead a Mass Prayer against satan and all his evil antics manifested through generational curses and other means of disrupting the good works of God.

TESTIMONIES
Week in, week out, the wonderful works of God in the lives of His people from all over the world are testified to at The SCOAN as a mere token of what our Father in Heaven can do. No matter the magnitude of the situation, nothing is beyond our God. Even distance is not a barrier. The following testimonies show that God is truly with us:

THE OVARIAN CYST FELL OUT!
Mrs. Tebogo Nfana from Botswana suffered severe pains in her lower abdomen for eight long years. In her quest for medical solution, she was diagnosed by her doctors with an ovarian cyst. The pain that accompanied her health condition rendered her redundant at home as her husband took up her domestic duties such as preparing food and catering for the other needs of their children. The doctors would only administer painkillers to her, telling her that there was no other solution within their reach.

Moved by a faith that knew no bounds, all she needed to do was to touch the screen while her husband was being prayed for at the Prayer Line. Her husband had come down to The SCOAN in 2013 to stand as a connection point to his wife who was in far away Botswana. They had agreed in faith that as soon as he is being prayed for at the Prayer Line, she should just touch the screen for her healing. Just as her husband was about to receive prayer, he had sent her an SMS asking her to touch the Emmanuel TV screen to receive her healing. As her husband, who had already placed hands on his abdomen (to represent his wife), was being ministered to, Mrs. Nfana touched the TV screen to claim her healing in faith.

Minutes later after her historic display of faith, she felt pressed and rushed to the restroom to relieve herself. To her surprise, a large lump came out! After a while, she returned to her doctors to ascertain her state of health. As usual, a fresh scan was carried out. The result was a miracle. The ovarian cyst that had been earlier detected was nowhere to be found! Filled with indescribable joy and laughter, Mrs. Nfana told the congregation that there is nothing God cannot do and advised them to continue to use the Morning Water as a point of contact between them and their miracles in Jesus’ name.

UNCOMMON BLESSING BESTOWED ON BOXING CHAMP
For Mr. Michael Ayitey Powers, it was a huge embarrassment for months as he kept on jumping from taxi to taxi. It was not a status befitting for an internationally reputed cruiser weight boxing champion of Ghanaian descent. The last car he bought was eventually taken away from him after the purchase deal went awry due to some disagreements with the seller. This development turned him into a common pedestrian who only managed to use taxis from time to time. Soon, the gossip-mongering public began to bandy rumours about his taxi-boarding escapades. Shattered by those unsavoury experiences, he was in dire need of a change for the best. He desired a car befitting of his status and looked up to God for intervention.

As he was walking around one day, he saw a vehicle for sale which he admired at a car dealership showroom and decided to enquire about its cost. The Audi A4 car according to the owner was to go for fifty thousand Ghanaian Cedis. Even though he had no money at that point in time, he requested to test-drive the car. After test-driving the car, he was impressed with it and decided to park somewhere to pray to God for the provision of the money for the purchase of the car. Clutching his Faith Bracelet, he cried out to God asking him to prove Himself once again by making him the proud owner of the Audi A4.

After praying and asking God to make him the owner of the car, he went back to the owner to hand the car over to him. Apparently expecting negotiations to begin, the owner was shocked when Mr. Powers told him that he would come back for the car because it belongs to him. After they had exchanged phone numbers he told the car owner that no one else would buy the car except him. After that encounter with the car owner, he moved on pondering on how to raise the money for the car.

While praying in church one day, he was informed by a friend that the man of God, Prophet T.B. Joshua was around. After church that day, he went to one of the ushers to find out if he could just say hello to the man of God. He was told that though, the man of God was in Ghana, he was not available at that moment, so Powers returned home. Being a multi-talented personality with interests in music and showbiz, he was on location for a movie and left his phone at home. When he returned, he discovered several missed calls including an SMS from The SCOAN requesting him pick his calls. By the time he called the number from The SCOAN, he was informed that the man of God, Prophet T.B. Joshua had been trying to see him. He was however also informed that, though the man of God had returned to Nigeria, he left a message for him.

Hearing this message, he rushed down to the church thinking that the man of God had left some Morning Water for him. On getting to the church, he was ushered into a room where he saw one of the greatest wonders of his entire life! A big envelope filled with money was shown to him as the message left for him by the man of God. According to him, all through his professional boxing life, he had never seen that kind of money. Opening the envelope, he discovered he had been blessed with a huge financial. Speaking with authority, he immediately put a call across to the car owner to come for his money. That was how he became the proud owner of an Audi A4 open roofed car. Many people were unable to come to terms with the miraculous blessing that came Mr. Powers’ way; there were insinuations that he rented the car. But that was only a confirmation that God’s glory and power are beyond human comprehension.

EMOTIONAL RESTORATION AND BREAKTHROUGH AFTER PROPHECY
Mr. Emmanuel Gati from Ghana suffered untold emotional trauma after the death, in a motor accident, of his loving wife whom he cherished so much. He was so stricken by her death that he collapsed and remained unconscious for four days. Even after he regained consciousness, the mental and emotional tolls weighed heavily upon his shoulders. Doctors diagnosed him with a heart attack. His business also suffered stagnation as he tried to sort his life out from the rubbles of emotional ruin. But that was a tall order for the grieving man whose wife was still in the mortuary, waiting to be laid to rest that week. Somehow, he bowed to the pressure to visit The SCOAN. Seated in the auditorium, he was spotted during prophecy time by the man of God who first and foremost cleared the air concerning the wrong accusations that he had a hand in his wife’s death. The man of God said Mr. Gati is a very responsible father who loved his wife and was shaken by her death. He even said that had Mr. Gati the power, he would have laid down his own life to save that of his wife.

The man of God prophesied that Mr. Gati is destined to be rich adding that the Petrol Station he had was only a tip of the iceberg. He said Mr. Gati would own petrol depots. Many people called to sympathise with him having realized through the man of God’s prophecy that he had no hand in his wife’s death. After the burial of his wife, he gradually began to get over all his emotional challenges.

True to the prophecy of the man of God, after the burial of his wife, he started and completed the construction of a multi-purpose stopover made up of a restaurant, shopping malls, a petrol station and fuel depots. His restaurant is now one of the most popular and prestigious in his area, attracting well over 3,000 guests on a daily basis. Confessing that his thinking, emotional life and health improved after coming to The SCOAN where he received the life-changing prophecy, Mr. Gati also said that his businesses took a dramatically prosperous turn to the glory of God.

Displaying pictorial evidence of his booming business empire, he thanked God for changing his story and urged the congregation to take advantage of the anointing available to break every yoke of poverty and setback in their lives!

The SCOAN Sunday service of April 26, 2015 witnessed as usual, the untamed expression of divine love, favour and power in the Word. Excited and spurred on by their faith, the congregants cherished every moment in profound praise and worship joining the choristers in their soul-lifting renditions that enjoyed instrumental harmony. The lyrical content of every song delivered captured the depth and power in the Word of God upon which the entire congregation based their faith in expectation of a windfall of blessings.

Prepared to further boost their faith with the Word, its essence and dynamics, the man of God, Prophet T.B. Joshua illuminated the concept of resurrection and how it elevates the true Christian to enviable heights in the salvation and redemption of his/her life: “Since, then, you have been raised with Christ, set your hearts on things above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God” (Colossians 3:1).

The man of God spoke of the need to embrace the Word of God and act upon it. He stated: “Faith is of man’s heart, man’s spirit. Your spirit can only be renewed by studying and acting upon the Word of Christ. You may read the Bible for so many years; if you do not act it, you are not a doer and the mind is not renewed. Many bible students are deceiving themselves saying that they are studying the Bible, because they are not acting, living and doing the Word. The Word is God speaking to you. God and His Word are one. The Word of God is always now”.

Our relationship with God, the man of God posited, has to be in the now at all times. “Because your relationship with God is not now, that is why you are facing ups and downs in life. The Word is always now – I receive now, I confess now, I believe now, I act now. If Daniel’s relationship with God was not now, the lion would have consumed him. If Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego’s relationship with God was not now, they would have been consumed. If David’s relationship with God was not now, history would have taken over him. The Word of God I am talking about is not in the book, not in the written pages but on the lips of believers”.

Admonishing Christians to desist from the vain act of focusing their attention on transitory challenges, Prophet T.B Joshua urged them to focus on God. He also advised them to realise that there is no crown without a cross. In other words, there must be challenges to be faced before breakthrough: “People are always conscious of their problems not God. If you now begin to be conscious of God, you can never be conscious of your problem. Your problem and satan go together. They are synonymous. Indirectly you are confessing satan when you are conscious of your problem and this nullifies your confession of God. Achiever needs to pass through the valley of the shadow of death before he can be an achiever”.

Concluding, the man of God provided the roadmap through which Christians can attain victory through the Word in Christ Jesus: “The battle starts from your heart. If you don’t start that battle from your heart, when trouble comes and you begin to fight that battle, you can’t win that battle. If you can fight it from your heart, you will overcome”.

DELIVERED FROM YEARS OF TORMENT FROM SPIRIT OF LUST THOUGH PROPHECY   

Mr Boukari from Republic of Benin had been under the yoke of sexual pervasion and lust right from his childhood. His case was so pathetic that at the age of 18, he impregnated three different girls in the same month. Troubled by the problems his reckless sexual attitude was causing, he had been to so many places in search of a solution but without success.

When he travelled to Libya, instead of coming back with good news and greater prospects, he came back like a villain having impregnated a woman who bore him two children. He eventually abandoned the woman and her two kids and returned to his native Benin. Back home in Benin, he met another woman whom he impregnated and abandoned soon after she had given birth to the child. His unbecoming sexual attitude continued to ravage his life like a wild fire. It was difficult for any woman to resist or turn down his advances. His desperate desire for a solution to his problem brought him to The SCOAN.

Dressed in uniform attire with a lady who sat beside him in the church auditorium, Mr Boukari was shell-shocked when the man of God beckoned on him and the lady to step out. At that juncture, the story took a new twist. God had revealed to the man of God that the couple were not legally married but only met in a hotel. Hearing that prophesy, the couple knew that they really needed some spiritual help. Both came out in confirmation of the words of prophecy.  Narrating how they had met in a hotel and fallen in “love” at first sight, Miss Catherine recalled how she had declined Mr Boukari’s attempt to give her a ring insisting that she needed the consent of her parents before that could be done. Mr Amio had actually proposed marriage to her but she preferred to carry her parents along.

Confirming the prophecy of the man of God to be true, the couple confessed that their lives had taken new fashions after receiving prayers. While Mr Boukari testified to the disappearance of his sexual pervasion and the newness of his life, Miss Catherine also confirmed that her immoral life had since been taken over by a new life full of peace and happiness. In fact, she even confessed that she no longer felt anything for Mr Boukari, the same man she could not resist that fateful day when they first met.

HOW JESUS DELIVERED ME FROM THE SPIRIT OF MAN!!!

Mr Tedus, a Nigerian businessman residing in Cameroon was doing his normal business and leading a normal life until he embarked on an excursion trip to Asia. Done in Asia, the airline conveying him back made a long transit that saw him and other passengers accommodated in an African country for the period of that transit. While in his hotel, he had made new male friends and had decided to enjoy the moment to the brim. He had gone swimming to ease off some stress but that singular act was to become his greatest undoing. That night, he had seen himself swimming in his dream in that very swimming pool where he had swum earlier that day. Waking in a cold sweat, he felt a strange presence. An unusual affection for men began developing within him. Inexplicably deciding to break up with his fiancé, he soon nursed his lust for men by downloading gay pornography on the internet. This eventually rippled into several strange relationships as affection for his fellow men took over his faculties. His work as a translator in a popular church merely a disguise for his nocturnal misadventures, Tedus considered being gay as ‘normal’, not realising a spirit was behind his sudden change in affection.

His pastor in Cameroon beckoned on him one day and insisted that he travel to The SCOAN in Nigeria for deliverance. Arriving at The SCOAN in January 2014, the young man received a powerful deliverance. The demonic spirit confessed it was behind his problem, giving him ‘passion’ for his fellow men. Today, the story of Tedus has radically changed as the affection for men disappeared as quickly as it came. Tedus explained he now has a zeal to pray and read the Bible, choosing to no longer engage in the carefree, partying lifestyle that led him to trouble in the first place. Let us remind you what Prophet T.B. Joshua said concerning this issue in response to a question on Facebook: “Judge not, so that you will not be judged (Matthew 7:1). We should talk to people to be saved and not to die. I mean, we should talk salvation, not condemnation. God hates sin, not sinners. When I say, ‘Do not judge so that you will not be judged’, I mean we should hate sin, not the sinner because sinners can change. If you have killed a sinner by judging him, there will be no opportunity for change. Sinners can be delivered. We should hate the act, not the people because our battle is not against flesh and blood but against the ‘spirit beings’ that cause all these acts.

HEALED OF INABILITY TO WALK THROUGH ANOINTING WATER MINISTRATION AND PRAYER

Having served Nigeria as a federal Minister on two occasions, Hon. Salome Audu Jankada (OON) from Taraba State was made to realise that spiritual attacks are no respecters of status and opulence.
Seated in her house one fateful day, she had felt a sensation like a pin prick at the back of her foot only to discover that the foot had swollen the next day.

Mr Louis Dede from Imo State, Nigeria was driving home from work one day when he came across a pothole and slowed down.

Mr Richard Prah from Ghana found his life on the trenches of suicide after he had lost everything to robbers. Earlier in 2010, they had robbed him of silver and gold jewelleries only to come back for the kill in 2012; this time, a whopping $60, 000 worth of jewelleries were carted away from his shop. He soon realised that there was a trend of evil always threatening his progress after every two years. He got himself involved in many unwholesome things in search of a solution. One night, he dreamt that his mother brought him to The SCOAN where the man of God laid hands on him at the Prayer Line.

Later on, he visited The SCOAN and was placed on the Prayer Line and the same way the man of God laid hands on him in that dream was the same way it happened on that day. According to him, as soon as the man of God touched his head, he heard a loud explosion. He got the Anointing Water and Sticker which he took back to his home in Ghana. He ministered the Anointing Water and placed the Anointing Stickers throughout his shop. He noticed that things began to change in his life. He was able to clear all his debts.

Two years later, the armed robbers who had been tormenting his life came back again but could not enter his shop because of the powerful anointing in the Anointing Water and Anointing Stickers he had placed in his shop. From the countenances of the visibly excited and elated congregants to the lyrical depth of the chorister’s deliveries, it was very obvious that they had come because of their love for the presence of God at The SCOAN as the Emmanuel Singers would put it in UNDER HIS EYES: “… HE watches over us day and night. We are not alone”.

In furtherance of the biblical concept of love and its applicability to the Christian life, the man of God, Prophet T.B. Joshua, spoke philosophically about the subject and made fundamental allusions to the Bible in which love is described as the greatest. The same love that inspired Christ to lay down His life for mankind is the most universal price Christians have to pay to enter the kingdom of God: “Faith cannot work alone. Faith works by love. Without love, faith is faithless. This is the challenge we have in Christendom – we have faith but no love. That makes us live in a faithless generation. If there is love, the church will be one – but the church is not one. If there is love, there will be unity”.

According to the man of God, the totality of a Christian’s life is measured in terms of the love he extends to God and the people around, especially his neighbours and even those who hurt him/her: “A true Christian is measured by how much he loves God and his neighbour. God measures our life by our love for Him. Faith without love is faithless. Hope without love is hopeless. In 1 Corinthians 13:13, there are three things that will last forever – faith, hope and love. Among them, the greatest is love”.

At a time when the whole world is being strangulated by hate and bitterness, Prophet T.B. Joshua re-echoed the Christian standard of loving one another, irrespective of colour, race or religion. The man of God drew the attention of the congregation to the need to place our love for God above all other considerations: “Your belief in God is calculated by how much love you have for God and your neighbour. God is love. He who abides in love abides in God and God in him. It is not enough to believe in the unity of God but you must love Him above all things. I believe Jesus – it is not enough to believe in the unity of God. You must love God above all things. We must love one another, irrespective of religion or faith”.

In his conclusion, Prophet T.B. Joshua once again reminded Christians of the inevitability of trials and tribulations even in the face of all the love they show to the world. But he/she who continue to place God’s love above all things will never relent in showing love even to those who do not value it. Tribulations will continue to come because life is not meant to be sweet all through: “As you go, there is going to be difficult times. If anyone says life will be sweet throughout, it is not true. The Bible says in this world there will be tribulation but cheer up – I have overcome. Life is all about good times and hard times. If you are not from God, hard times will reveal you. If you are from God, those hard times will strengthen your desire and make you stronger and stronger. Your life is measured by your love for God”.

ECTOPIC PREGNANCY NORMALISED THROUGH ANOINTING WATER/STICKER MINISTRATION

For Mrs. Irakoze Nweta, a Tanzanian national, it took an unshakeable faith in God for her to put the devil to shame. Having been diagnosed with an ectopic pregnancy in 2013, the only option left for her was to undergo an operation that would see the pregnancy terminated in order to save her life. Her father, a staunch Christian had encouraged her to minister the Anointing Water and Anointing Sticker as soon as she conveyed to him the result of the ultra-sound scan carried out by her doctor. 

After ministering the anointing materials as directed by her father, she was encouraged to go and face her doctor in faith. On the scheduled day of the operation, a sister came to remind her that with God, all things are possible! She told her that pregnancy is God’s gift to her and she should not tamper with what God had given her. As she continued to minister the Anointing Water and Anointing Sticker, she defiantly refused to undergo an operation and left to another hospital. Within just one hour, the second hospital tested her and confirmed that the baby in her womb was completely normal and there was no trace of the ectopic pregnancy! Returning to the other hospital to request the discontinuation of the planed operation, the doctor was not happy with her. He therefore asked her to sign a document exonerating himself from whatever happens to her since she refused to go on with the operation. Several hours later, she delivered a bouncing baby boy without an operation and no complication! Everyone at the hospital was so shocked, the doctor in charge even personally calling the her into his office and telling her to ‘keep serving God’.

Testifying at The SCOAN in company of her mother and her baby boy, Mrs. Bukoro urged people all over the world to have trust and faith in God.

HEPATITIS B CURED THROUGH ANOINTING WATER MINISTRATION

Mrs. Georgina Ayamba was jolted by her doctor’s findings. The Ghanaian teacher was told by her doctor that all those body pains, headache and waist pain were as a result of hepatitis B, a terminal viral infection that has no known cure. Carrying out her domestic duties became very difficult even as it became apparent that she needed urgent help. The only help the doctor could offer was to give her some medication that would relieve the pains she felt.

Having realised that she was the only one infected in the entire family, her husband suggested they undergo a 3-day fasting and prayer in order to seek God’s help concerning her condition which he described as an attack. After the fasting and prayer session, Mr. Ayamba reminded his wife of the exploits of the man of God, Prophet T.B. Joshua, via the Emmanuel TV channel which they watched frequently. Encouraging her to key into the miracles at The SCOAN, he told her he was sure that as soon as she stepped into The SCOAN, all her problems would be over.

Arriving at The SCOAN, Mrs. Ayamba was privileged to receive the Anointing Water with which she returned to Ghana in high spirits. That night, the couple prayed together while Mrs. Ayamba ministered the Anointing Water on her entire body. As she slept, she noticed that her body was so light. Unknown to her, the mighty hand of God in the Anointing Water medium was already at work in her life.

That same night in her dream, she found herself at The SCOAN where an usher was telling her not to mingle herself with sick people. The usher directed her to a different position declaring that she was not sick. When she woke up, she narrated her dream to her husband who thanked God and explained to her that the dream was a victorious one. She decided to return to the hospital to carry out another test. On getting to the hospital, she insisted on having another test carried out on her and behold, the result read negative. The hepatitis B virus had disappeared. How it happened, only God knows!

Filled with joy and the spirit of thanksgiving, Mrs. Ayamba vowed to continue to serve God for the rest of her life.

GASTRO ENTERITIS CURED THROUGH PRAYER VIA EMMANUEL TV

Mr. Don Eromosele suffered from gastro enteritis and did everything he could to cure himself but instead of getting better, the ailment got worse. As a lecturer, it was so embarrassing that on some occasions, he would have to run away from class to avoid messing himself up. Matters got to a head on a particular day when his condition worsened to the extent that he was stooling uncontrollably, running very high temperature and sweating profusely. He was rushed to the hospital by his wife and placed in the emergency ward.

Mr. Eromosele was eventually introduced to The SCOAN by his younger brother who insisted that he needed to seek solution there. Arriving at The SCOAN, he had lodged in a hotel awaiting the registration of visitors who wanted to be at the Prayer Line. In his hotel room, he realized that the Emmanuel TV channel was aired. As he watched the Emmanuel TV, his attention was attracted to the prayers of the man of God, Prophet T.B. Joshua who was talking to viewers all over the world declaring that every sickness, affliction, curse and yoke were broken in Jesus’ name.

Keying into the prayers by the man of God, Mr. Eromosele managed to stretch his hand and placed it on the screen of the television responding with loud “amen” together with his wife. After the prayer, he placed his hand on his stomach and behold, a loud noise was heard as he felt a sensation of heat all over him. For the first time in a long while, he could sit down comfortably for long without rushing to the toilet. Even his temperature began to normalize.

Thanking God for the unexpected way his healing came, Mr. Eromosele confessed that he had wanted to go to the Prayer Line but received his healing in his hotel room through Emmanuel TV. To confirm his miraculous healing, tests were carried out and they showed that his condition was normal. All anomalies within his system were cleared through prayer via the Emmanuel TV channel. NIGERIAN POLITICIAN DELIVERED FROM SMOKING ADDICTION THROUGH EMMANUEL TV!

Hon. Joseph Bassey was a chronic smoker. This was not just an addiction – it was an obsession! For 21 years, he smoked in a continuous chain – it was his first action in the morning and his last at night. “It was only when I slept that I didn’t smoke,” the Nigerian politician explained. Even politically, the bad habit was an embarrassing hindrance. As a member of the Cross Rivers State House of Assembly, he would be restless and rush to present his views so as to quickly leave the chambers and smoke.

After passing out an unusual substance, Hon. Bassey felt different. It was as if something had left him. From that day forward, smoking has become a thing of the past! “People even placed bets in my community as to when I would return to smoking,” the politician laughed, explaining that no one believed it was possible he could quit smoking. He added that his freedom from smoking has led him to introduce Emmanuel TV to multiple chain smokers in his community. In addition, Hon. Bassey’s wife was diagnosed with a fibroid, rendering the couple childless. She had even travelled to India for an operation but still remained unable to conceive. After coming to The SCOAN and receiving the Anointing Water, he ministered it to his wife, praying that God would bless their home with a child. They met as husband and wife and shortly afterwards, his wife became pregnant and delivered a bouncing baby boy!

Finally, Hon. Joseph testified that he was successfully re-elected to Cross Rivers House of Assembly in the recently concluded elections, adding that he was the only candidate in his state that ran an election without an opponent in the primaries. “The favour of God in my life since I came to know Emmanuel TV, Prophet T.B. Joshua and the Anointing Water is just too much,” he testified. Advising congregants, especially politicians, he stated that there can be no genuine success without God. “You need God’s grace and guidance to serve in any capacity,” he said.

PROMOTED IN THE MIDST OF RETRENCHMENT THROUGH ANOINTING WATER MINISTRATION

The government company in Nigeria where Mr Aranki Rimamsike worked was taken over. With more than 50% of the workforce retrenched, the Adamawa-based man feared he was about to lose his job and source of livelihood. Deciding to rush down to The SCOAN, he was among those who received the Anointing Water which he ministered in his office while awaiting his fate. Remarkably, Mr Aranki was not only retained but promoted! A job that his new boss told him was actually reserved for expatriates– the head of the entire Finance Department – was miraculously given to him.

In addition, Mr Rimamsike had been wearing glasses due to a terrible case of poor vision for nearly 20 years. He could not even read bold letters without wearing spectacles. A spray of the Anointing Water however changed everything! Since ministering the Anointing Water in his eyes, Mr Aranki woke up the following morning and ‘forgot’ to wear his glasses. LEGAL BATTLE STRUCK OUT THROUGH MORNING WATER MINISTRATION

Mr. Jan Ntamane from South Africa started an eco-tourism project in his country in 2007 but got stalked along the line in 2010 due to certain challenges. Some other business owners had sued him to court arguing that he did not get the necessary approvals before embarking on the project and must be immediately demolished. And being an environmentally sensitive location, the matter assumed serious dimensions. He was summoned by the provincial government and the high court on different occasions. He was undeniably in the eye of the storm almost going bankrupt in a bid to clear himself. He had even borrowed money from a prominent South African bank but instead of progress, trouble was rearing its ugly head. Mr. Ntamane also experienced a bizarre trend in which robbers would visit and rob him during every winter for several years at the premises of the same project.

Bent on disentangling himself from the legal battle that could cost him his investment, he visited The SCOAN in March 2013. As soon as he arrived at The SCOAN, he felt flashes of hope and envisioned himself making progress in life. By the time he eventually met the man of God, instead of talking about his business, the man of God counselled him about his health and the need to avoid worry. After offering him counselling and prayer, the man of God gave him the Anointing Water which he ministered in Jesus’ name.

Upon returning to South Africa, the case, which was taken to the highest legal court in South Africa and widely reported in newspapers across the country, was incredibly struck out alongside all the charges against him. Mr Ntemane explained that his case is now the subject of study for South African legal students specializing in the environment due to its unique nature!

Radiating the glory of God, Mr. Ntamane urged people to minister the Anointing Water in faith and that God will see them through.

DELIVERED FROM DEMONIC BEADS

When Miss Franca bought a set of attractive beads from an unusual market woman, little did she know her life would be plunged into the throws of demonic bondage. In a dream the night before, the young lady saw herself wearing an unusual set of beads. Waking up, a small voice within prompted her to visit the local market where she discovered the very same beads she saw in the dream available for sale.

Wearing it around her waist, Franca instantly became connected to a world under the water. She would see herself in a river in the dream, dressed in fine robes and sending people on errands as if she were a queen. Physically however, trouble erupted. Franca was disgustingly raped shortly after her demonic acquisition, the abuse followed by a strange sequence of events. Firstly, men began romantically approaching the young lady, as if she possessed something that seduced or enticed them. In addition, she lost all interest for her academics and schooling, eventually dropping out. Also, her menstruation strangely ceased after she wore the beads. As the setbacks and disappointments continue to mount in her life, she succumbed to the advice of a friend to visit The SCOAN for deliverance. As Prophet T.B. Joshua offered mass prayer, he began releasing prophetic words to the congregation. “There is a lady here with beads around her waist,” he instantly pronounced. “This stands for destruction.” Franca was shocked. She had not told anyone of the jewellery surrounding her waist. Coming forward, she renounced her covenant with demons through the unusual beads and removed them from her body. The following day, her menstruation was restored and she has been disconnected from that evil chain that satan had used to connect her to himself.

During the service, words of prophecy were given by Prophet T.B. Joshua to the congregants pointing them to their future success. The man of God then went on to the prayer line section of the church and the name of Jesus Christ was again glorified through the miraculous healing and deliverances that took place in the lives of the people.

EMMANUEL!

Ever rich in the presence of the Holy Spirit, the Sunday service of May 10, 2015 at The SCOAN provided another great platform for the impartation of the Word on a congregation of God’s people who have never allowed their faith to waver in spite of the many challenges facing Christians all over the world. The global realities of economic depression, war and natural disasters notwithstanding, the children of God gathered at The SCOAN to give thanks and praise (inspired by the melodic tunes of the choristers) to the Creator  who has continued to strengthen them from grace to grace with blessings unspeakable.

In furtherance of the incisive tradition of sermons at The SCOAN, Wise Man Christopher touched on an important aspect of the Christian race bordering specifically on our walk with God and the understanding of His ways. Even though His ways are not our ways, Wise Man Christopher observed that with a little understanding, we can have more insight into the ways of our Creator: “To learn to hear from God after prayer, is a much greater blessing than the blessing itself”. 

Hearing from God is a more significant blessing than the material or physical blessings that we are seeking. This is so because, whoever hears from God has a direct access to His throne of grace and will never be taken unaware by any sudden event. God will always direct such a person. Above all, according to Wise Man Christopher, the salvation of our souls is the main essence of miracles, blessings and the rest of God’s manifestations of His glory: “Miracle is not an end in itself but a means to an end which is the salvation of our souls. Healing, deliverance, blessing, breakthrough, victory, protection or the like is not an end in itself but a means to an end which is the salvation of our souls”.

Commenting on the nature of God’s gift to mankind and how to maintain such gifts, he stated that using God’s gifts to His own glory is the best way to sustain the constant downpour of His blessings to the receiver. This is even more instructive knowing that many would prefer to be proud when they are blessed forgetting that is was God who blessed them so that they may be blessings to their communities: “Character is everything. When you have God’s kind of character, you will see the need to use the gift of God in your life for God’s glory”.

Concluding Wise man Christopher said that we as Christians need God more when we are blessed because of the many challenges that come with receiving blessings. It takes a godly heart to be blessed, especially in wealth and still remember God. That is the reason Christ said “It is easier for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God”. More so, we need God more in times of blessings because, without Him, we may not be able to stand the level of antagonism the wicked world would throw at us knowing that we are enjoying God’s grace. Wise Man Christopher captured the scenario thus: “Why do you need God more? You need God more in blessings than in poverty because the blessings of God always attract uncommon challenges, persecution, hatred, envy or jealousy from the people of the world in such an extent that it is only God that can see you through. If God is not involved in your life then, nobody will see you through them”

VISA SECURED THROUGH MORNING WATER MINISTRATION

Mr. Caleb Awolola, a party stalwart in Lagos received an invitation to attend leadership training in the United States alongside 22 other persons. Being a first-timer to the American Embassy, his approach to the visa interview was different and wise. Before leaving for the American embassy, venue of the visa interview, he had ministered the Morning Water on all necessary documents including his international passport, invitation letter and appointment letter, calling on the God of Prophet T.B. Joshua to come to his aid.

When he arrived at the venue of the interview and while queuing and waiting for his turn, he continued to meditate, asking the son of David to see him through the process. To his greatest surprise, the man who interviewed him only asked very basic and simple questions most pertaining to his personal life. Satisfied with his response, the man collected his passport and asked him to return on a later date to collect his visa. To the glory of God, on the stipulated date, Mr. Awolola collected his visa and has since travelled to the United States. Out of the 23 that attended the interview, he was the only granted the visa. This was a big surprise to his colleagues who attended the interview together with him.

He came back to The SCOAN to testify to the good thing God has done for him through the Morning Water medium. He advised the people of God to pray always and leave everything to God.

EDUCATIONAL CAREER REKINDLED THROUGH MORNING WATER MINISTRATION

Having graduated from the University of Ghana, Legon, in 2013 with a first class honours, it remained a mystery that Mrs. Rolanda Yennah could not secure admission for her Master’s in the same school. All efforts she made resulted to failure. Even when she tried to buy multiple admission forms to increase her chances, it remained the same sad story. This unfortunate story continued for 9 long years. In 2012, she once again decided to apply for three different admissions: Master in African Studies, Master in Adult Education and Bachelor of Law.

After submitting the admission forms, she dreamt that she was sitting for an exam. But while other candidates were busy writing, she was moving from hall to hall in search of her index number. According to her, before that very dream, she had discovered that each time she applied for admission, she always found herself in dreams where invigilators would stop her abruptly and ask her to submit her papers.

Convinced that she needed God to hamper the vicious cycle of failure in her life, she set out for The SCOAN. Upon receiving the Morning Water at The SCOAN, she returned home and began to minister it in prayer. To her amazing delight, those dreams of sitting for exams became a thing of the past in her life. Afterwards, she sat for and passed the exams as well as interviews for the three admissions she applied for. To the glory of God, she received the three admission letters and has decided to go for the Bachelor of Law, dropping the Master in African Studies as well as the Master in Adult Education. Testifying with so much joy and confidence in God’s power, she urged the people to embrace the anointing in the Morning Water and run to God in times of trouble rather than waste their time blaming and suspecting others.

BEDWETTING YOKE BROKEN THROUGH MASS PRAYER

For Mrs. Chinwe Biereagu, her daughter’s incessant bed-wetting had become a pill too bitter to swallow. She found it very hard to come to terms with the disgraceful challenge which had haunted the lass since childhood. It even became a family embarrassment when her daughter’s younger siblings chased her out of their room as a result of her challenge and forced her to sleep on the same bed with their mother who also confirmed that her daughter bed-wetted thrice every night. Fed up with the whole situation and having consulted many people with no solution, she opted for The SCOAN.

During The SCOAN Mass Prayer, Mrs. Biereagu raised Favour’s picture while keying into the powerful declarations of deliverance, healing and breakthrough by the man of God, Prophet T.B. Joshua. SAVED FROM GHASTLY MOTOR ACCIDENT THROUGH MORNING WATER/STICKER MINISTRATION

Mr. Chukwuemeka Eleje had a premonition of an impending danger as he drove his family of eight back to Niger State after a visit to his village.

When he mentioned his apprehensions to his wife, she advised him to minister the Morning Water which they had right there in the car. He did as she advised and the journey continued. Somewhere along the road, they encountered an acquaintance whose car had broken down and decided to offer a helping hand by towing the vehicle. As they towed the vehicle, the rope kept cutting itself at intervals prompting them to stop by at a market to get a bigger and stronger one.

Having fixed the new rope, the towing continued bringing with it an unfortunate story. As the vehicles trailed each other connected by the towing rope, Mr. Chukwuemeka could only remember hearing a loud bang. Both cars started swerving dangerously on the road creating a pathetic scene on the express way and attracting the attention of other travelling vehicles. Mrs. Eleje who was in front with her husband continued to call on the God of Prophet T.B. Joshua to intervene. Their car eventually got loosed from the car it was towing, somersaulted seven times and headed into a ditch inside a bush. Against all expectations, no member of his family inside the car was hurt neither was any member of his acquaintance’s family of five hurt. Even the car which was eventually pulled out of the ditch by a crane was not affected as none of its parts was damaged as it was the same car he used to convey his family back home. Testifying before an applauding congregation, Mr. Chukwuemeka Eleje in company of his entire family thanked God for the miracle of saving their lives. He advised people to hold on to God and desist from patronising native doctors.

PROMOTION RESTORED THROUGH MORNING WATER MINISTRATION AND MEDITATION WITH THE FAITH BRACELET

Mr. Francis Yagarga has been working with the University of Maiduguri Teaching Hospital for 28 years as a nurse but suffered career setback for reasons he could not fathom. However, from his observations, something was wrong somewhere as he was made to realize that even his promotion have been hijacked by unknown forces.

Unsatisfied with the dimension his career was taking, he came down to The SCOAN in search of solution believing that God would turn his situation around and declaring that his past was over. Mrs. Zaratu Audu from Ghana had a terrible waist pain that resulted to her difficulty in walking for seven long years due to lumbar spondylosis. She could not do anything but locked herself up in the room crying all day. In the midst of her anguish, a friend introduced her to the Emmanuel TV and she took great interest in the power-packed healings and deliverance taking place at The SCOAN. The glory of God was well felt as it lit up the entire atmosphere with worshippers beaming with joyous smiles – a reflection that their prayers have surely received generous answers from Heaven. The choristers in their usual vibrancy dished out musical menus aimed at opening up the heart of God’s children to the reality of His presence in their midst. At The SCOAN Sunday service of May 17, 2015, the prophetic as well as the creative power of the Word came to the fore.

Wise Man Christopher, reminiscing the essence of the Word in creation called on Christians to make haste in returning to their source – God, their Creator and the Holy Bible. According to him, it is only when we fully realise that all we have come from Him that our supplies will continue: “When you consider deeply the events that took place at the creation of the world, you would find out that your life, your possessions and everything you can see, feel or touch, came from God who is unseen. In the beginning was the Word and the Word was with God and the Word was God. God’s Word, a Spirit creates the material things… Ask the Provider of your possessions, the things you can see, feel or touch and he will tell you that for you to enjoy a steady supply of your these things, you need to get back to the Source”.

According to Wise Man Christopher’s illustration, getting back to our Source is a process that requires our very commitment because without commitment, there cannot be trust. Therefore, we must strive to build a relationship with our Source in order to be able to run back to Him when the need arises as exemplified by the prodigal son who, in spite of his shortcomings, returned to his compassionate father who received him with love and honour: “…you will agree with me that the prodigal son had a relationship and fellowship with his father before that fellowship was broken through his sins. When he lost a steady supply of everything he had received from his father, he saw the need to get back to his compassionate father. We all have a relationship with our Father in Heaven and that is why we are Christians. The main thing about Christianity is not the works we do but the relationship we maintain and the atmosphere produced by that relationship”.

In furtherance of our relationship with God, we need to create the enabling atmosphere in our hearts. According to Wise Man Christopher, when our hearts are filled with holy thoughts and godly meditations, we create the enabling atmosphere for God to thrive there. But when our hearts become a haven for evil thoughts and sinful considerations, we are building a barrier between God and us: “Remember that the kind of atmosphere produced in your heart matters because your heart is the dwelling place, the communication or the contact point for the Holy Spirit as well as for satan. Your heart is either Heaven or hell. A good atmosphere produces not only a good but also a great relationship. On the contrary, a bad atmosphere produces a dwelling place for satan. When you regard sin or have sympathy for sin in your heart, you are creating a conducive atmosphere for evil spirit to dwell in”.

However, no matter how terrible our sins are before God, He will always accept us back when we repent sincerely and decide to follow His ways with commitment. Wise Man Christopher observed that the reason God gave up His only begotten Son was to redeem us from sin and destruction. In other words, there is still a second chance for the repented soul who is ready to forsake his sinful ways: “If a sinner hears the Gospel of Jesus Christ and repents of his sins, Jesus Christ will save Him. For the design of the Gospel is to break the yoke of sin and satan, and thus remove the burden of guilt and corruption. God so loved the world that He planted His best Seed in the earth so that His peace might abide with men forever. The Seed gave Himself up as a living sacrifice for our sake – to heal the broken hearted, give the captives freedom, comfort those who mourn, release the prisoners and defeat their enemies as in John 10:15 and Isaiah 61:1-3 respectively”.

Concluding, Wise Man Christopher urged Christians to return to God and His Word as enshrined in the Holy Bible. He further said: “I want you to know that everything in the absolute of science and technology is falling apart – we simply must return to God and the Holy Bible. God is Spirit and those who will have an encounter with Him must do so in Spirit and in truth. If it is not in Spirit, it is not in truth and so it is all nothing. We are not made spiritual by theorem or philosophy about the Word; we are only made spiritual by living in the Word and by the Word living in us”.

ELECTORAL VICTORY THROUGH MORNING WATER MINSTRATION

Mr. Friday Okpechi, a native of Cross River, was a novice in politics and even described himself as “a nobody”. Yet, the almighty God found him worthy of elevation. He had entered into the local politics of his state, vying for a seat in the state house of assembly to represent one of the constituencies. Even though he was not popular and had never held any elective position within the state, his ministration of the Morning Water in faith gave him great assurances that he would come out victorious.

During the primaries, he had the Morning Water in his pocket and continued to minister it, asking for divine favour. To the glory of God, he was selected to represent his constituency at the general elections. When the time for the general elections finally came, he discovered that he was contesting against a very prominent politician who had held several elective positions in the past and who was then a serving member of the state house of assembly. In spite of all the money, fame and connections at the disposal of his opponent, Mr. Friday had a strong conviction that he was going to be victorious.

On the day of the general elections, he had observed his morning prayers, ministering the Morning Water and asking for God’s guidance. After the prayers, he went to cast his vote and returned home. Soon after, news started trickling in about his victory. His agent and other well-wishers kept him abreast of favourable developments about the elections. Eventually, he was declared winner of the election and the candidate to represent Obubra I constituency in the state house of assembly. Praising God for lifting him from “nobody” to “somebody” in society, Mr. Friday advised people to call on God whenever they need anything because all things belong to Him.

BANK JOB RESTORED THROUGH MORNING WATER MEDIUM

She was advised by her employer, one of the Nigerian banks to resign her employment for reasons that have remained hazy till date. Psychologically devastated and eager to get another job, Mrs. Edna was not happy with the turn of things. Her husband encouraged her to get the Morning Water. She got the Morning Water and ministered it on her CV and credentials which she submitted to different banks praying to God to grant her favour. Four days later, she received an SMS inviting her for interview.

She successfully scaled through the first, second and third interviews and was eventually given an employment letter, to the glory of God. HEALED OF HYPERTENSIVE HEART DISEASE AT PRAYER LINE

Mrs. Margaret Ariwodo, a native of Abia state, Nigeria had barely spent two days of her return to the country from the United Sates when she suddenly fell ill. After several tests, she was diagnosed with a condition known as hypertensive heart disease. She could not walk well as her legs were swollen.

Testifying before the congregation, Mrs. Ariwodo said she was free from all those things that prevented her from walking well. She also testified to God’s restoration of her lost luggage after she had ministered the Morning Water on it.

MULTIPLE ENTRY US VISA GRANTED THROUGH MORNING WATER MINISTRATION

Even though some of her family members reside in the United States, she could not secure the US visa. She had also been duped by fraudsters in the guise of helping her to secure the US visa. However, Mrs. Janet Chiawueze, an African foods and clothing exporter from Nigeria would not give up her hope of travelling to the States.

Mrs. Chiawueze had discovered that a strange man-like shadow would always come around her whenever she was about experiencing a breakthrough. She also had dreams about masquerades chasing her about. It was apparent she needed God’s direction and guidance to succeed in her quest for a visa to the US. In spite of all the disappointments concerning her travelling prospects, she kept faith and decided to come to The SCOAN from where she began to cherish more the principles of love and forgiveness. Even her husband asked her to forgive those who duped her in the process of securing the US visa. She accepted his advise and looked ahead with hope.

At The SCOAN, she received the Morning Water which she ministered in Jesus’ name and doors started opening for her. First, she participated in a convention, through the help of a friend and after that received a letter of invitation for interview at the US embassy. Before heading to the embassy for the interview, she ministered the Morning Water asking God to favour her. In spite of the huge crowd she met at the embassy and notwithstanding the disappointing outcome of other visa seekers’ interviews, she kept praying and asking for divine favour. When it got to her turn for the interview, the man who interviewed her sounded more like a brother and even asked her why her husband and child were not with her. According to her, he said he would have loved to grant them visas too. After the very friendly interview, she was offered a 2-year multiple entry visa to the United States. Thanking God for granting her heart’s desire through the Morning Water medium, she urged people to wait on God’s time while trusting Him for their breakthrough.

LEG ULCER HEALED THROUGH MORNING WATER MINISTRATION.

For two years, Mr. David West, from Rivers state suffered from an incapacitating leg ulcer that kept spreading and producing puss. He could not put on his shoes and kept away from people because of the offensive and irritating odour and sight of the ulcer. Some people even insinuated that he would have his leg amputated as a result of the ailment. All attempts to get help from different hospitals proved abortive. All the over one hundred injections that pierced through his veins had no answer to his condition.

But a visit to The SCOAN brought his sad story to a glorious end. DISTANCE IS NOT A BARRIER

The Mexico Crusade was a huge success. The mighty hand of God pulled down strongholds and set captives free, bringing salvation and redemption to the lost sheep through the precious name of Jesus Christ. While clips the Mass Prayer of Day 2 of the Mexico crusade were being relayed during The SCOAN Sunday service, the power of God manifested within the congregation as many worshippers felt the touch of the Holy Spirit. The Mass Prayer which was led by the man of God, Prophet T.B. Joshua had ripple effects within the church auditorium as the worshippers were delivered from different afflictions in confirmation of the fact that distance is indeed not a barrier for the move of the Holy Spirit.

MINISTRATION OF THE MORNING WATER IN JESUS’ NAME

God can use any medium to express Himself in the lives of people. Through the ministration of  the Morning Water, the congregants experienced the power of God as chains of sickness, disease and afflictions were broken in Jesus’ name.

The choristers enlivened the atmosphere with praise and worship songs that got congregants on their feet in expression of their unflinching faith in the almighty God Who has continued to shower them with blessings unspeakable at The SCOAN. Epic clips of the Pastors Conference held by Prophet T.B. Joshua in Mexico were relayed and served as a motivating tonic to worshippers who have been united in faith to trust God and to honour Him for His goodness and compassion towards them.

As Prophet T.B. Joshua led prayers and ministration at the Pastors Conference, the power of God manifested as the sick people, especially those confined to wheelchairs and those who had lost all hope of ever living a normal life, were healed and redeemed from the captivity of the devil.

Even visiting pastors from Mexico and other countries around the world were imparted with the anointing of God. some of them also partook of the healing session. To God be the Glory!

Sunday, May 24, 2015 witnessed a church service that remains memorable in different fronts. Wise Man Christopher anchored the day’s sermon on THE PATH OF GREATNESS.

The Path of Greatness is one that requires a lot of courage and sacrifice. Many people, desire to be great but they lack the courage, patience and staying power to sustain that desire. Wise Man Christopher observed that great and successful people become subjects of admiration in the eyes of the world, whereas the sacrifices they made to attain the positions they occupy are not brought into the picture: “When you look at the successful people who have genuinely made a difference in their own world today, please don’t just look at their achievements in life but also consider deeply the path they followed, the seemingly impossible situations they maturely handled, how they handled and captured them for God’s glory before they came to a new level in their lives”. Continuing, he stated that the ability to endure delay and humiliation is a virtue that is rare among men. Citing the example of the Canaanite woman, Wise Man Christopher depicted the nobility in patience and humble perseverance: “The humiliation the Canaanite woman received and the delay in her requests, rather than discouraging her, strengthened her desire for Christ. She did not limit Jesus in her request, she asked for mercy and Christ Jesus said to her, “Be it unto you even as you will (Matthew 15:28).” Originally, she was a stranger to the commonwealth of Israel, being a Canaanite; but Jesus saw her faith and gave her the right of sonship. He redeemed her from the limitation of racial discrimination so that she might receive adoption as a son (Galatians 4:5)”.

In line with the universal reality of trials as part of the grooming process for success and greatness, Wise Man Christopher further said, “Mention any great Biblical character and you would see how much pain or humiliation he had to endure in order to come to a new level in life. The way to your future greatness is not a bed of roses”. He added that enduring trials for what you believe comes with its own inestimable reward which is incomparable to all the riches of this world: “If you endure trials for what you believe, God deals with you as a son (Hebrews 12:7-10). If nothing is able to cut off your dependence upon God or your duty to God and your communion with God, God deals with you as a son. When God deals with you as a son, you are one with Him”. Or what else can be better than being one with God?

However, Wise Man Christopher points out the fact that there is only one condition that can guarantee a Christian’s capacity to survive in the face of trials and all sorts of hardship. And that condition is the presence of the Holy Spirit: “No man can stand the challenges of remaining in faith in the face of the vicissitudes of life, unless he is strengthened by the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 12:13”.

Finally, Wise Man Christopher urged Christians to see greatness as an asset from God. He declared that greatness is a quality that must start from within. In other words, our hearts must think greatly if we desire to see great realities unfold around us: “As Christians, our greatness comes from God. Greatness does not start on the outside but within you. Great thoughts produce great decisions (Romans 12:2). If you do what God puts into your heart you will make a difference in your world, you will be best among equals. The way of obedience is the way of blessing”.

The following testimonies are a confirmation of the glorious manifestation of His wonder-working power in the lives of His children.

PROMOTION AND CAREER GLORY RESTORED THROUGH MORNING WATER MINISTRATION

Working steadily in an organisation for fifteen years is a great record that deserves good rewards such as promotion and recognition awards. But in the case of Mr. Amidu Adams, a Ghanaian Security Officer, it was the other way round. Instead of promotion and recognition for a meritorious service, what he got for his fifteen years service was stagnation and even demotion. Of a truth, something was definitely amiss somewhere. Another opportunity had come up for him to be promoted in 2011 during a promotion interview but somehow that opportunity ended in a sad story.

Prior to the promotion interview, Mr. Adams had dreamt of a man opening his wardrobe and using faeces to smear on all his clothes. After the interview, he was demoted. His subordinates became his superiors to the extent that even people whom he trained were promoted ahead of him. Concerned about his unfortunate fate, a friend introduced him to Emmanuel TV and that became the forerunner to his turn-around. Inspired by the happenings on Emmanuel TV, he visited The SCOAN and received the Morning Water with which he commenced daily prayers.

In the thick of those prayers, he was invited to another promotion interview. While preparing for the interview, he ministered the Morning Water on all his documents. By the time he got to the interview venue, the interviewers were shocked and impressed with his responses and even wondered why he did not get promoted after the last exercise. They however told him to expect a positive response from them. After a couple of correspondences with him, they invited him to another meeting where he was awarded the Best Staff for the year 2014. A week later, he was promoted four steps higher to the position of Senior Security Officer. No doubt, our wonder-working Father in Heaven intervened and restored Mr. Adams to his glory through the Morning Water medium.

Testifying before a greatly inspired congregation, the visibly elated Ghanaian advised people to wait on God at all times.

INTERNATIONAL RECOGNITION RECEIVED THROUGH MORNING WATER/STICKER MINISTRATION

Mr. Emmanuel Frimpong is a Customs Officer from Ghana who loved and did his job to the best of his ability. He was accustomed to carrying out his duties with professional zeal but instead of commendation, all he got was reprimand. He was confused and getting sick of the whole thing to the level of developing some unpalatable health conditions. He would discover blood in his office and all efforts to get to the root of the matter would prove abortive. Whenever he visited the hospital, diagnoses would show nothing was wrong. But within him, he was convinced all was not okay with his health.

Mr. Frimpong visited The SCOAN and received the Morning Water with which he returned to his native Ghana and continued to minister in prayer. One morning while he was meditating, he heard a voice say to him that some goods have been diverted. He immediately swung into action and discovered that some persons had diverted some Ivory Coast-bound frozen chicken and was being sold without paying the necessary duties. He reported the matter to his superiors and drove the process that saw the culprits pay all the necessary duties accruable to the Ghanaian Customs. For his gallant and exemplary role, he was recommended for recognition. Shortly afterwards, he was invited by the Customs Commissioner who informed him that he had been awarded a Certificate of Merit by the World Customs Organisation in recognition of his excellent role in the furtherance of international customs operations.

The almighty God also rescued Mr. Frimpong from a terrible motor accident through the Morning Water ministration in Jesus’ name.

Thanking God for His great works through the medium of the Morning Water and Morning Sticker, Mr. Frimpong urged people, especially security operatives, to get closer to God because of the nature of their job.

The Morning Water was ministered to the congregants in Jesus’ name and they received their healing, deliverance, salvation and all of God’s blessings. To God be the Glory!

On Sunday 31 May, 2015, the church service at The SCOAN witnessed yet another spirit-filled ministration of the Word of God for the edification of His children upon whom He has continued to shower with love and joy unlimited. The congregants, with their hearts full of thanksgiving and praise, glorified the name of their King to the highest heavens. On the lips of the congregants, He has placed songs of testimony as he did to the biblical Israelites by rivers of Babylon. The choristers, motivated by the deep and incisive messages in their songs, left bold impressions of repentance and redemption in the minds of many.

Miracles are proof that the scriptures were true; they still are. There was one proof then and there is one proof now – miracle in His name, Jesus Christ. Below are testimonies of the goodness of God in the life of the people and we know these testimonies will strengthen your faith.

JOBLESSNESS/UNDEREMPLOYMENT BOW TO GOD’S POWER WORKING THROUGH THE MORNING WATER

Frustrated by her joblessness which had been a thorn in her flesh since 2007 when she graduated from College of Education, Agbor, Delta State, Nigeria, Mrs. Egbaje Lynda Liberty concluded that meeting the man of God at The SCOAN to pray for her in Jesus’ name would be the only solution to her problem. In the company of her husband, she visited The SCOAN but was hugely disappointed when she could not meet the man of God due to the massive population of guests present. Bent on encouraging his wife who had already started crying for not being able to meet the man of God, her husband, Mr. Liberty urged his wife to minister the Morning Water which he had got at The SCOAN that day. Shortly after ministering the Morning Water, her father who had also been making moves to get her a job informed her of a friend’s offer to assist her in a very good establishment. Again, her husband, on hearing about the job opportunity encouraged her to minister the Morning Water on the application letter she was going to submit for the job. Mrs. Liberty did as her husband had advised and the quick turn of events caught her fancy. As soon as she submitted the application, she was informed by her father that he had been called to come and pick her employment letter. At that moment, she knew that the power of God in the Morning Water was at work. She never even attended any interview for the job. Against all human expectations, she was employed by the Federal High Court of Nigeria as an Assistant Executive Officer with a very good pay which has greatly improved her standard of living. Almost simultaneously also came an admission offer for her to further her education at the university. And she was given the permission by her employers to combine her education with work. Thanking God for the seamless manifestation of his glory through the Morning Water medium, she urged people to have faith in God.

DIABETIC LEG ULCER HEALED AT PRAYER LINE

Mrs. Joseline Vordzogbe from Ghana was ravaged by leg ulcer due to diabetes and needed urgent help to alleviate the pains she was going through. She had gone to several hospitals without finding solution. Hence, a visit to The SCOAN, the Arena of Liberty became the ultimate decision. She visited The SCOAN and was placed at the Prayer Line where the man of God prayed for her in Jesus’ name.

On getting back to Ghana, she noticed that the ulcerous wound started covering up and within a short period, it had completely dried up. Stamping her leg on the ground as a proof of her healing, she told the congregation that she could not do so when the ulcer was there. Mrs. Vordzogbe glorified the name of the Lord for freeing her from the pain and incapacitation the ulcer had brought to her life.

LUMBAR SPONDYLOSIS HEALED AT PRAYER LINE

Burkina Faso-based Chikezie Ozioma, a Nigerian national, came under the attack of a strange waist pain that made walking difficult for him. Coupled with this was the terrible nightmares he used to experience. He patronised many hospitals in Burkina Faso but could not get any relief. He decided to visit his fatherland, Nigeria. By this time, the pain had spread to his left leg and made movement very difficult and painful. He managed to come down to Nigeria with his condition and visited a hospital where he was diagnosed with lumbar spondylosis. The doctors gave him some medicine to use but his condition remained the same; no improvement. Faced with the dire need to live his normal life again, he decided to come down to The SCOAN where he was arrayed at the Prayer Line. According to him, as the man of God approached him from a distance of about one meter, he felt something like a magnetic force which shook the affected parts of his body. The man of God finally laid hands on him asking him to get up. Immediately, he was up on his feet, walking and running without any pain or difficulty. Proclaiming his healing in utter amazement and gratitude to God, Mr. Ozioma jumped unhindered before the congregation. He also narrated how Jesus Christ rescued him from demonic captivity through the man of God, Prophet T.B. Joshua, in a dream after the prayer he received at The SCOAN. According to him, in that dream, he was being chased by a group of people. Then, Prophet T.B. Joshua appeared and covered him with a net. Immediately, this group of people disappeared and since then, he has not experienced the terrible nightmares again.

DESTINY CAREER/JOB DISCOVERED THROUGH PRAYER

For Miss Faith Nkhwa, working in a bank was the best thing that could ever happen to her. She loved the banking job with passion and held onto the one she had at all personal costs. The young Batswana was a degree holder but received the same remuneration with the very junior workers. Within her, there was something fundamentally wrong. Aside her job issues, she was always in and out of hospital, having been diagnosed with low blood. For her, coming down to The SCOAN for prayers was the only dependable way out of her challenges. She was placed at the Prayer Line where the man of God prayed for her even. Back home in Botswana, she dreamt that she was queuing for a job alongside her friends. She noticed that it was the man of God, Prophet T.B. Joshua that was giving out the application forms for a bank job. While others were receiving theirs, the man of God refused to give her the form, when it got to her turn. As she grappled with the ensuing unhappiness, the man of God directed her to a lady in military attire who eventually handed her a package containing military uniform and she woke up. When she got to work the next day, she narrated the dream to her friend. Few weeks later, the same friend informed her of job advertisement by the Botswana Defence in search of female officers. Though her friend informed her of the job advertisement jokingly, she managed to beat the application deadline. To her surprise, she was invited for interview after which she was accepted and sent on one-year training and afterwards commissioned as an Officer. After her commissioning as an Officer, she soon discovered that the bank where she was working before got shut down while all her former colleagues lost their jobs. In her reckoning, God took her to the place of her destiny even though she never understood the whole thing from the beginning. Today, she thanks Him for preserving her destiny and making her smile. Enumerating some of her achievement since joining the military, she is now a second lieutenant, commanding many troops at 20 years. She has been able to buy a house of her own and is presently building one for her mother. Glorifying God for what He  had done in her life, she urged the people to rely on God for the fulfilment of their destinies.  

U.S CITEZENSHIP GRANTED/PREMATURE BABY SURVIVES THROUGH MORNING WATER MINISTRATION

Mr. Jonathan Onyenekwe, a Nigerian residing in the United States had been trying to process his citizenship for seven years without success. It became more frustrating for him when he was told that his file with which he was to process his documents was missing from the Immigrations Office there in the United States. He employed the services of one of the best lawyers in the USA and even took his matter to the Congress Office, all in a bid to resolve this problem but all proved abortive. Not knowing what to do, he decided to run to God for a way out. He visited The SCOAN and got the Morning Water which he ministered in Jesus’ name. Getting back to the USA, he went back to the Immigrations office to once again present his case and to his surprise, that same day, his file was brought out and he was granted an interview which he passed. This was the same office that could not locate his file for many years. Today, he is a citizen of The United States of America. His wife, Mrs Chinwe Onyenekwe also testified of how God saved the life of her baby who was delivered prematurely as a result of a terrible respiratory problem it suffered while in the womb. The doctors had even advised her to carry the baby through as there was no point delivering it prematurely because there was no chance of survival. But she stood her ground and asked that the baby be taken out prematurely. After delivery, the baby who was very tiny, was put in an incubator and placed on life support. It was during this period the husband came down to The SCOAN to get the Morning Water which he ministered in Jesus’ name for the procurement of his USA citizenship. He also gave the wife to minister on their baby. Miraculously, the baby that was so tiny and whom doctors had said would not be able to walk or talk, survived and has grown to a healthy three year-old child walking and talking freely to the glory of God! She advised all to always trust in God no matter the situation they are facing for the Lord is able to see them through.

As usual, the congregants expressed their passion and joy for praise and worship led by the Emmanuel Singers. Every negativity, unbelief, infirmity and disappointment had to make way for the promise of salvation, redemption and elevation through Jesus Christ, our Lord and Saviour. It was The SCOAN Sunday service of June 7, 2015. Everything that had breath praised the Lord!

Still loaded with the fresh anointing of the Mexico Crusade and Pastors’ Conference, the man of God, whose birthday comes up on Friday, June 12, 2015, had appreciative words for the congregation as well as all his well-wishers all over the world which was read by one of the evangelists, on his behalf: “Greetings to you, household of faith.  My thoughts and prayers are with you. At this hour, you need this kind of prayer greatly. I came back from the revival trip last week Saturday, waiting for God’s command on what to do next. I can’t wait to join you. Thank you for your love and prayers. I am always in your thoughts and prayers”.

But beyond the expectations of well-wishers and followers all over the world, the man of God observed that the celebration of his birthday this time around would have to be done in line with the directive of our Lord, Jesus Christ, to Whom all power belongs: “About my birthday, which will take place this coming Friday, this is how Jesus wants us to celebrate it: E.G. – West Africa will celebrate in Ghana. Southern Africa will celebrate in South Africa. Other African countries – the timetable will be released on Emmanuel TV where each country will celebrate the birthday. Mexico, Colombia, Korea, Singapore, Australia, Russia, UK, USA, France etc. – will celebrate in their own countries”.

Speaking further, the man of God said that the birthday celebration would have to be observed accordingly in different parts of the world, without necessarily having to involve people travelling down to Nigeria: “I have to say something today about this birthday because this is the last Sunday before the occasion. I have received so many emails and letters from thousands of people all over the world who are coming to Nigeria for the birthday celebration. Nothing of such birthday celebration will take place here in Nigeria for now”.

Finally, he urged those who have already committed themselves by purchasing travel tickets to Nigeria to bear with him and the ministry for the new development while assuring them of his spiritual support as ever: “Once again, we are very sorry if you have already bought your ticket to come for the celebration – God will reward you. Once again, I am in your prayers and your thoughts. I can’t wait to join you”.

TESTIMONIES

Jesus must be honoured in our lives every day. At The SCOAN, every testimony honours the name of Jesus. By His stripes, we are healed through our faith as sons and daughters of love; a noble creation. The gates of hell shall not prevail over us. The following testimonies depict the victory of our God over the kingdom of darkness.

LIFTED FROM POVERTY TO WEALTH

For Mr. Afachung, his unfortunate fall from grace to grass remains an experience he would continuously recount. How he lost his lucrative job and got entangled in the vicious web of abject poverty tells the story of a man who struggled with the unfavourable tides in the eye of the storm. Life was indeed very unfair to him. After losing his job, his landlord also came calling with a Quit Notice. Perturbed by the discoursing turn of events making a caricature of his life, he somehow stumbled on the Emmanuel TV channel.

Watching the Emmanuel TV channel became the precursor to his eventual breakthrough. The marvellous testimonies and awesome display of God’s power through the channel inspired him to come down to The SCOAN in search of his own redemption. But not without a grave psychological battle in which he had to wade off all discouraging fallacies and preconceived notions about The SCOAN. Receiving the Morning Sticker alongside the Morning Water, the freelance geologist was optimistic he could relive those prosperous days. Heeding the insight of an inner voice, he chose to pray with the Morning Sticker which he eventually placed in his wallet declaring that it will never run dry.

Sooner than expected, the anointing in the Morning Sticker began to manifest its miraculous energies. Companies began to chase Mr. Afachung with jobs, a development that motivated him to register his environmental impact assessment company in the first week of February, 2015. By the second week, he was approached by a company for a job and was awarded a contract worth 6.6 million naira. Today, those tears of anguish that robbed his face of heart-felt smiles have given way to glorious laughter and joy from the depths of his soul. He is currently building a house and has purchased a brand new car. His wife, who had endured those penurious times with him, would not stop thanking God for lifting them from the abyss of lack to the heights of abundant grace.

LOW SPERM COUNT DISMANTLED

Mr. Victor Igboerika was still tinkering with plans to marry his fiancé when the worst happened. He was diagnosed with low sperm count and was advised not to put her in the know lest she back-pedals from the marriage plan. But convinced that his honesty would be worth more than anything else, he opened up to her. And to his greatest amazement, she encouraged him with her passionate belief that God is capable of doing all things. Inspired by her encouragement, the marriage went ahead as planned. The couple kept faith in God amid all the embarrassing comments about their childlessness, knowing that ‘though the vision might tarry, it is for an appointed time’.

Knowing that the power of God at The SCOAN would solve the couple’s problem, Mr. Igboerika’s brother based in South Africa introduced them to the ministry. Without wasting of time, the couple visited The SCOAN and received the Morning Water. On getting home, they ministered it in prayer as husband and wife, hoping on and believing in God for a miracle. And true to their expectation, Mrs. Igboerika informed her husband that she missed her menstruation, a development that saw her go for a pregnancy test. When the result came out, she was confirmed pregnant. On his own part, Mr. Igboerika’s low sperm count was confirmed to have improved drastically to the bewilderment of his doctors. While the doctors were wondering how it happened, Mr. Igboerika used the platform to glorify the name of God for putting an end to his shame through the Morning Water medium. The couple advised people all over the world to wait on God’s time always for their breakthrough.

FREED FROM MULTIPLE FIBROIDS AND CAREER STAGNATION

Suffering from multiple fibroids and career stagnation, Mrs. Judith, a Cameroonian teacher was not happy with the direction her fate was heading to. In 2013, she visited The SCOAN with her heart full of the belief that her problems would bow to the anointing in the Arena of Liberty. Going through the Prayer Line and receiving the Morning Water, she returned to her country and continued to minister the wonder-working medium amid fervent prayers. She would minister the Morning Water on the part of her stomach that was causing her pain.

One morning, she woke up to discover that her underwear was stained by blood even as she had experienced a severe abdominal pain. To her, those were tell-tales of another horrendous episode in the offing but God’s incomprehensible power was at work. Having managed to go to work that day, she returned home and decided to use the convenience. Once in, she felt something drop from her into the toilet sink. The multiple mass of fibroids that threatened her joy was finally flushed out! To further confirm the miracle, she went to the hospital for check-up and was certified free from fibroids to the glory of God. Mrs. Judith also used the medium to testify to her multiple career promotions. She advised people out there to belief in the anointing available in the Morning Water and Morning Sticker.

ELEVEN YEARS BEDWETTING YOKE DESTROYED

Miss Uju Muogui’s reputation as a gospel singer was bent to be tarnished by satan, the schemer. He had afflicted her with the yoke of bedwetting for eleven years. It was a huge embarrassment that a young woman who wielded great talent could be so reduced to such shame. Tormented and dejected, Miss Uju would sometimes blame the bedwetting on her baby in order to save the face of her marriage. Aside the bedwetting, she had horrible dreams in which she seemed to be remote-controlled into acts against her wish.

Worried by those realities, she visited The SCOAN in search of solution. During the church service, the Morning Water was ministered on her. That same night, she had those same old dreams. But when something woke her up to go and ease herself, she discovered that for the first time, she did not wet herself and from that day till today, she has not had that embarrassing experience. It has gone for good through the anointing in the Morning Water. Miss Uju, filled with happiness while testifying to the goodness of God in her life, urged people to run to Him in times of trouble.

TWENTY TWO YEARS CAREER STAGNATION REPLACED BY DOUBLE PROMOTION AND BUSINESS ESTABLISHMENT

Mr. Muzenge Hachizibe had languished in the Zambian Police Force as a Sergeant for 22 years without promotion. He was obviously baffled by the stagnant nature of his career. Poised to turn things around, he decided to visit The SCOAN to scuttle the plans of the devil for his life. At The SCOAN, he received prayers from the man of God, Prophet T.B. Joshua and also got the Morning Water. Back home in Zambia, he ministered the Morning Water continuously in prayer and believed that God was working out something great for him.

True to his faith, things began to take a dramatic turn. He was given double promotion by the Zambian Police Force from Sergeant to Criminal Investigating Officer. Cresting on the joy of his promotion, he was inspired to register and open his own security company which is doing very well today with a fleet of vehicles. From a frustrated Sergeant, he now counts himself among the blessed as an employer of labour. Thanking God for the breakthrough, he urged people to realise that there is no solution like running to God.

GUNSHOT RENDERED HARMLESS AFTER PRAYER VIA EMMANUEL TV

Mr. Uwem Okon is not a man that jokes with Emmanuel TV. Accustomed to praying alongside the man of God via the channel, he had made it a part of his duties to sustain the practice, even before he goes to bed at night. One fateful night however, the story went awry. He had just finished praying alongside the man on Emmanuel TV when a gang of armed robbers invaded his house and shot him at close range. The robbers were jolted by the fact that the bullet could only bruise him instead of penetrating deep into his skin. For that, they made to escape. But as they moved out of his house, something urged him to hide himself in the ceiling. How he got himself into the small ceiling space remains marvellous.

As the robbers fashioned out their escape strategy, they made a u-turn, agreeing to go for his life lest he identified them. But as they returned for him, he was already in the ceiling. When they finally left, he managed to drive himself to the police station to report the incident. But rather than treat his case with the required dispatch, the policemen on duty wondered how he survived the gunshot and appealed to him to give them some of the ‘thing’ he used for protection which did not allow the bullet to penetrate his skin. But overwhelmed with joy and gratitude to God for sparing his life, he told them that far from their suspicion, he only watched the Emmanuel TV channel through which he also prayed along with the man of God, Prophet T.B. Joshua.

SAVED FROM THE THROES OF DEATH

Retired Principal Rotimi Kola, a native of Ondo State was travelling within his state when he had a head-on collision with another vehicle in what can be described as a ghastly motor accident. Even though pictures of his damaged car showed how incredible it was for him and the other occupant to have survived the accident, Mr. Kola admits that it could only have been the handiwork of the Almighty God through the medium of the Morning Water and Morning Sticker. According to him, he ministers the Morning Water every day before he leaves his house and always has the Morning Sticker on the windscreen of his car.

After the accident, sympathisers who rushed to the scene marvelled at the occupants’ miraculous escape. However, citing the Morning Stickers on the windscreen, they concluded that the occupants were indeed children of Prophet T.B. Joshua, whom God used to save their lives from the throes of untimely death.

WEAK ERECTION, LOW SPERM COUNT HEALED THROUGH PROPHECY AND PRAYER

Mr. ThankGod Eribo had gone from place to place looking for a solution to his weak erection and low sperm count problems. He had even had three different crumbled marriages due to his inability to perform his duty as a man. The power and wisdom of our God are beyond human comprehension. Those who rely solely on God will never be put to shame. That was the mood at The SCOAN Sunday service on June 14, 2015. Aside the wonderful testimonies that reminded the congregation of God’s miraculous omnipresence, the inspiring songs of the choristers raised the momentum of praise and worship and kept every heart expectant of Heaven’s windfall of blessings and uncommon grace.

Evangelist Evelyn Joshua added spiritual substance and depth to the occasion with her admonition to Christians to remain steadfast in God and rely on His supremacy over everything rather than cling to their own human capacity which is limited: “People of God, believers, Christians, upon our strength, power and wisdom we cannot rely, all our sufficiency is of God. And in His wisdom, power and grace we must go on and go forth. Those who have many battles to fight on the way to Heaven, be strong in the Lord, be strong for service, be strong for fighting and, be strong for suffering. Apply yourself to your work and duties as Christian soldiers. Don’t change your position, rest in the place God has for you”.

She cautioned believers on the need to realise the huge task that awaits them in the long and tedious walk of faith. According to her, the more we advance as Christians, the more life becomes slippery. No matter how high we climb in the ladder of life, our ability to sustain our faith in God and the capacity to survive temptation matters most: “Mountain climbing is a picture of the life of faith. Throughout our lives we are to continue moving upward. Faith grows stronger as we climb higher, learning more about God, growing in our relationship with Him, becoming stronger in our battle with temptation and pushing ahead in telling the lost about Jesus Christ”.

Evangelist Evelyn Joshua added: “What God values in a man are beyond human discernment and are planted in the heart. What God requires of us is planted in our heart. It does not consist in costly sacrifices or waving of hands in worship without a thorough reformation of heart and life. The profession of faith with the mouth alone without the power of it in the heart is a mockery of the very fundamental article of the Christian faith”.

In her concluding counsel, she urged all to have faith in God. According to her, in the midst of tribulation, God is still saying something.

TESTIMONIES

SAVED FROM DOMESTIC ACCIDENT THROUGH MORNING WATER/STICKER MINISTRATION

Professor and Mrs. Hungwe have continued to marvel at the miraculous way God saved their lives from a domestic accident that can only be described as awful. Living in far away Michigan in the United States of America, the couple had been battling the freezing snowflakes of the city before the shadow of death came, creeping stealthily under the cover of the early hours of dawn in an attempt to wreak havoc on their lives.

The couple were asleep when the worst happened. It was 3 ‘O clock in the morning. Professor Hungwe heard the loud bang and is fortunate to live and recount the story. A very tall and big tree very close to their house had fallen missing the building and their two cars by whiskers. Going by the position and proximity of the tree to their bedroom, they would have been crushed to death but for divine intervention.

The visibly amazed couple agree that their lives and properties were spared as a result of the Morning Water and Morning Stickers with which they have always prayed. Their cars had the Morning Stickers just like the house on which the Morning Water was also ministered and around which were placed the Morning Sticker. The way and manner the tree missed the cars and the building remains a miracle to the couple and their neighbours who witnessed the aftermath of the incident.

Ascribing the miracle to God’s mercy, the couple thanked Him for saving their lives and urged viewers all over the world to embrace Him.

SAVED FROM GHASTLY MOTOR ACCIDENT THROUGH MORNING WATER MINISTRATION

Mrs Janet Pius had requested for the Morning Water from her husband that fateful morning as if she had a premonition of the ghastly motor accident that was waiting for her. The inter-state trader from Bayelsa State had successfully purchased her goods from Onitsha and was on her way back when the unpalatable happened. Seated in front beside the driver, the vehicle’s front and rear tyres burst causing it to summersault into the bush.

While the wounded passengers were being led out of the vehicle, she was nowhere to be found. All the goods in the vehicle fell on her and covered her away from eye sight. But an injured man who had sat close to her insisted she was hidden somewhere in the vehicle and this prompted the search that led to her rescue from under the heap of goods. Even though she could not minister the Morning Water because of the tight corner where the strangulating weight of the goods had kept her, she was able to place her hands on it calling on the name of Jesus and the God of Prophet T.B. Joshua to come to her rescue.

Her husband, Mr Pius got information about the accident and his wife’s involvement from a police officer who was at the scene. His wife was taken to a hospital and an x-ray was carried out on her to ascertain the level of internal injury she might have sustained from the accident. But to the surprise of all, the x-ray  result certified that she was okay apart from a little swelling on her leg. How she even managed to breath under the weight of all those goods remains a mystery. Testifying before The SCOAN congregation, husband and wife were unanimous in their belief that it was God at work. The family friend who introduced and later accompanied the couple to The SCOAN also testified that it was indeed a miracle that Mrs Janet Pius came out of the vehicle alive.

HEALED OF CANCER-CAUSING BREAST LUMPS THROUGH MORNING WATER MINISTRATION

Waking up one morning, Mrs Eunice Likita from Gombe State noticed she had severe pains on her two breasts. The pains were so terrible that she could not bend down. The next option for her was to consult a doctor. Getting to the hospital, she was diagnosed with two lumps on her breasts and was advised to come for surgery so that the lumps would be removed lest they develop into cancer. At that point, the fear of death built its tent in her heart. But rather than succumb to the defeatist promptings of human nature, she jettisoned the doctor’s advice and headed to The SCOAN.

At The SCOAN, she received the Morning Water which she ministered daily. She also ministered some into her bathing and drinking water. Soon after, she discovered that the pains had disappeared. Curious and surprised, she went back to the doctor claiming she had come for the surgery she had run away from. In line with medical practice, the doctors needed to examine her to ascertain the condition of the lumps before surgery takes place.

After she was re-examined, it was a huge amazement to discover that the lumps which they diagnosed had disappeared. Thank You, Jesus Christ.

HEALED OF ACCIDENT INJURIES THROUGH MORNING WATER MINISTRATION

Mr and Mrs Roland Zhou from Pretoria South Africa were involved in a motor accident while travelling within their native country. The accident was so serious that they could not move their bodies. The police officer that came on rescue mission at the scene of the accident had to help retrieve their Morning Water in the woman’s bag to minister on them before they were taken to the hospital. On getting to the hospital, it was discovered through x-ray that the couple were injured. While the woman suffered a bone fracture on her hand, her husband had a broken neck.

Her husband’s case was worse and it was suggested that he had to undergo surgery. Even the doctors wondered how the man managed to move his body eventually when the x-ray report showed that he should have been paralysed. In spite of all the discomfort and pain, the couple continued to minister the Morning Water believing that Mr Roland Zhou will not be paralysed. And to the glory of God, he walks properly today without any difficulty. The Pretoria-based couple, thanking God for their miraculous healing, urged people to believe in the Word of God always because it is powerful.

VINDICATED FROM FALSE AND CRIMINAL ACCUSATION THROUGH PRAYER WITH YOUTUBE MESSAGE OF PROPHET T.B. JOSHUA

Mr. Elvis Osakwe is a cashier with one of the commercial banks in Nigeria and hails from Delta State. The banker received a rude shock at work one day when a woman walked into his office and claimed she deposited the sum of three million naira into her account through him. To the young man, it was like another episode in a theatre of the absurd. The matter got to a head and attracted the attention of the bank’s management.  Even when footages of the CCTV camera within the entire bank showed that Mr Osakwe never collected any money from the woman, she, in alliance with her husband, claimed that the CCTV footage might have been tampered with bearing in mind the power of technology.

Bent on carrying out further investigations, the parties involved namely: Mr Osakwe, the woman and her husband were taken to the police station where a statement was made and eventually, Mr Osakwe was taken into police custody. While in custody, Mr Osakwe prayed along with a downloaded YouTube message of the man of God, Prophet T.B. Joshua on his phone, asking God to vindicate him. Sooner than later, the woman confessed to the police how she had tried to frame the young man into a crime he never committed. It was later discovered that the said money was with her in her house. She only tried to frame the young man because she wanted to convince her husband (who kept putting pressure on her to produce the money) that she had deposited it with a bank. Thanking God for his vindication, the young banker advised people to always trust in God.

Sunday 21st June 2015 was another wonderful time in God’s presence at The Synagogue, Church Of All Nations, filled with inspirational testimonies, a thought-provoking message and a powerful demonstration of God’s power through the ministration of Morning Water.

EVANGELIST CHRIS

After the congregation were led in praise and worship, Evangelist Chris gave a message titled, ‘My Heart Is Heaven’, calling for a period of self-examination.

“If really you are a citizen of Heaven, why do you behave like others when trouble comes when your trouble is not like others,” he questioned the congregation, stating that people of God are meant to handle their situations differently to the people of the world.

“There will be trouble but as a Christian, your heart cannot be troubled because your heart belongs to Jesus,” he said. As a Christian, your body may get sick but your heart cannot fall sick because your heart belongs to Jesus! As a Christian, there may be confusion around you but there can never be confusion within you because your heart belongs to Jesus!”

Using Colossians 3:1-11 as a proof text, he insisted that Christianity is a relationship, not a religion, measured not by outward church attendance or engaging in Christian services but rather in the purity of one’s heart.

“The great thing that God looks at and requires is the heart,” he emphasised. “If that be far from Him, it is not a reasonable service and therefore not an acceptable one. It is the sacrifice of fools. Hypocrisy, no matter how cleverly managed, cannot be hidden from Jesus. If you are merely pretending, Jesus knows.”

He went on, using some practical examples, to explain how answers to prayer will come only when our lifestyle begins to reflect the One we are praying to. “Communion with Christ springs from union with Christ. The Word dominating you is the Christ you are calling,” he said, adding that it’s not the noise we make but the life we live that brings the results to our petitions in God’s time and way.

He concluded by stating that as citizens of Heaven, nothing should separate Christians from the love of God. “An effort to separate us from the love of God with affliction strengthens our desire for God. An effort to separate us from the love of God by death sends us to our home because here, we are in the market. An effort to separate us from the love of God through blackmail and name-calling makes our name known all over the world for the purpose we are living for.”

After the message, there were several powerful testimonies of God’s power at work in the lives of His people, especially through the ministration of the Morning Water:

10 YEARS BARRENESS HEALED/FRUIT OF WOMB GRANTED THROUGH MORNING WATER MINISTRATION
For ten painful years, Mr and Mrs Japheth Uzochukwu (Nigerian couple based in Uganda) cried their lives out in search fruit of the womb. Before their marriage, all medical tests had shown that they all had clean bills of health. The whole joy that accompanied their marriage soon gave way to the reign of sorrow. Suddenly, the wife was diagnosed with fibroids while her husband was discovered to have low sperm count. The scenario was not funny as it affected the couple psychologically. Not even the endless visits to different hospitals and herbal homes could solve the problem.

MR & MRS JAPHET UZOCHUKWU OKEKE

The more medication he took, the worse his condition became. Mr Uzochukwu became seriously frustrated and dejected; he became paranoid and harboured suicidal thoughts. Death to him would be the best solution to his problems. The societal stigma attached to childlessness in Africa and the demeaning feeling associated with the inability to be man enough were issues he battled with even as people around made jest of their situation. Their marriage was on the brink of total collapse. At a time, Mr Uzochukwu dug a grave in his apartment asking to be buried there in the event of his death.

Realising that there was no other place to run to for solution and having been building their faith by keying into the manifestation of God’s power on the Emmanuel TV channel, Mr. Uzochukwu contacted his brother based in Nigeria and requested for the Morning Water. His brother in Nigeria wasted no time in sending the Morning Water to them through courier service. On getting the Morning Water, husband and wife ministered bit prayerfully and kept faith with God. Sooner than later, Mrs Uzochukwu fell ill. Her husband took her to the hospital only to be confronted with an incredible and miraculous reality. She was pregnant according to the doctor. While Mr. Uzochukwu was lost in joy and bewilderment, his wife took the news with a pinch of salt thinking it was a ploy between her husband and the doctor to make her happy. It was in the fifth month of the pregnancy that she accepted the reality that God had granted her fruit of the womb.

At last, a bouncing baby boy was born to the Uzochukwus to the glory of God’s name. In the midst of that miracle, God also blessed the couple with their own house. Thanking God before a moved congregation, the couple were urged to hold on to God in order to experience more of his grace upon their lives.

HEALED OF TOTAL KIDNEY FAILURE THROUGH MORNING WATER MINISTRATION
Mr Taylor Wodu’s case was hopeless according to the doctors. Even dialysis and transplant, they reckoned, would not help him. His kidneys were totally damaged. He was told he had barely two days to live. He was advised to write out his will. In the ensuing tears and dejection, his wife encouraged him and advised they came down to The SCOAN. Bed-ridden and unable to walk unaided, his son was sent down to Lagos to make arrangements for the visit to The SCOAN. Feeling exceedingly better, he decided to visit his doctors for check-up. After carrying out three different tests on his blood samples, the doctors were shocked and wondered what had happened to him. From their finding, his totally damaged kidneys were replaced. They even thought he had gone to India for transplant. Mr Wodu told them that he only visited The SCOAN and ministered the Morning Water he received there. Thanking God for his healing, Mr and Mrs Wodu urged people to have concrete faith in God.

ACADEMIC BREAKTHROUGH/RECOGNITION THROUGH MORNING WATER MINISTRATION
Magistrate Mavis Kwainoe, an Emmanuel TV partner from Ghana, had received a scholarship to pursue a Master’s programme in International and Comparative Law at the George Washington University USA but needed additional funds to take care of her flight tickets, accommodation and upkeep since the scholarship was purely tuition-based. Believing God for a miracle, Prophet T.B. Joshua stepped in and provided the additional funding required for her to pursue her scholarship. The man of God also followed her progress and offered spiritual guidance at times when things went bad for her. On her part, she prayed regularly ministering the Morning Water and asking for God’s grace.

MAGISTRATE MAVIS KWAINOE & FAMILY

The scholarship provided her the opportunity to interact with legal luminaries from across the world and by the grace of God, she came out with an outstanding result. She was also awarded the Justice Thurgood Marshal Civil liberties Award for her dedication to the field of Civil Rights and Liberties. She becomes the first African to have received the award. Thanking God and acknowledging that it was not by her power, she advised people to call on God when they are weak by ministering the Morning Water in prayer.

KNEE INJURY HEALED/PROFESSIONAL CAREER PROGRESS THROUGH MORNING WATER MINISTRATION
Mr Asawga Rih-reh, a Cameroonian footballer had his professional career cut short by a nagging knee injury. As a left-footed player, the injury affected his left knee. He could no longer play. Both his club side and national team dropped him and life became difficult for him. He had to undergo surgery on two occasions, all to no avail. After trying all within his ability, he decided to come down to The SCOAN.

Every song that emanated from the choristers shaped the expectation of congregants with messages of hope, love, redemption and salvation. That Sunday service of June 28, 2015, witnessed an out-pouring of God’s grace through His word.

EVANGELIST ANGELA

Evangelist Angela hit the hammer of   word on the anvil of the congregation’s understanding. Her message captured the universal reality of life as a battle field even from time immemorial. Titled THIS BATTLE IS NECESSARY, her message is both an admonition and exhortation to Christians all over the world to understand the imperative essence of maintaining our relationships with God in the face of all the trials and tribulations that are part of our existence in this troubled world: “In this world, there would be tribulation. Your tribulation could be any situation. Jesus knows better... Are you feeling the challenge to our Christian faith with the announcement of rights in the international news?”

Evangelist Angela however observed that no matter what we go through as Christians, all we need is the morning dew – a mixture of God’s Word and His Spirit: “Whatever might have happened to you in the night, in the afternoon, you just need the morning dew. You need dew, in your health, in your family, in your future. This is dew for you – God’s Word mixed with His Spirit. May you receive dew for your soul today, in Jesus’ name”. She further added that the world in its characteristic nature is full of events and issues that antagonise our faith and belief in God but cautioned that we as Christians must realise that life is not a bed of roses: “As long as we live we will continue to be confronted with issues that violate our conscience. We will continue to be exposed to things that are contrary to God’s standard. This is not Heaven. It is the highway of life and it is covered not in a bed of red roses but of snakes, thorns and scorpions. Tensions arise, not necessarily because we have done wrong but because we live in a complex and contradictory world”.

Citing Revelation 2:9-10 as proof text, Evangelist Angela said that those who are facing tribulation are not rejected by God neither would their trials cut them away from God. According to her, trials and temptations are important ingredients that cement a true Christian’s relationship with God: “That you face challenges does not mean you are not a friend of God. David never questioned why a giant challenged his future. He simply ran to represent God on the battlefield. That you find yourself between a rock and a hard place does not mean you are not a candidate of Heaven. Stephen never questioned why stones were being hurled. He stood – and resembled God in all He stands for. That you face an enemy as close as your mouth does not mean you are not a favourite of Heaven”.

Evangelist Angela concluded with an admonition for Christians on the need to remain focused on God’s ability to help them rather than dwell on the doubts and distractive tendencies usually used by the devil to deceive them: “One of satan’s tactics is to get you to doubt God’s goodness, to forget all God has given you and to focus on what you do not have. Like Peter, who began to look for a bridge to walk upon, if you are spending much time thinking about what you do not have, you may be slipping into unhealthy doubt – as Peter began to slip into the water. Never doubt God’s desire or ability to help you”.

Mr. Egbamokumo Japhet Zikenah came from Bayelsa, Nigeria to testify to the goodness of God. He had been involved in a terrible motor accident that left him unconscious for hours. He was rushed to the hospital and it was discovered that he had sustained a fracture on his leg bone. The doctor fixed a POP on his leg and also put him on crutches. Sometime later, he happened to watch Emmanuel TV and as Prophet T.B. Joshua was praying for the viewers, he prayed along with him in Jesus’ name. And that was all that was needed to get him back on his feet. Through that prayer, our Lord Jesus Christ healed him of the bone fracture. According to him, while he was praying along with Prophet T.B. Joshua on Emmanuel TV, the affected leg started shaking. He felt strength return to the leg and immediately, he stood up and began to move the leg. He went to his doctor asking him to remove the POP but the doctor refused because, according to the doctor, the leg could not have been okay at that time. So, he went to a friend of his who helped him remove the POP. With the POP removed, he discovered he could walk freely. Today, he is totally healed of his fractured leg bone. To God be the glory!
