In the spirit of worship, the congregants, raising and waving their hands in reverence to Heaven, were visibly absolved by the heart-moving songs from the choristers. The Sunday service of July 5, 2015 at The SCOAN was a blend of Kingdom enthusiasm with a harvest of God’s boundless grace. Evangelist Cindy added evangelical bite to the atmosphere with her illuminating teaching on a very topical as well as universal issue – The Language Barrier.  In this regard, she was emphatic about our communication with God which is only possible through a relationship in which both parties understand each other’s language. We can only talk to God and get His responses to our requests when we make ourselves comprehensible to Him through our acts and deeds. Hence, the success or otherwise of our communion with God depends on the language factor. And the language factor in our relationship with God is much deeper than we think: “Brethren, we are designed to think, talk, plan and act with God. There is no real communication or communion unless both parties take part in the conversation. Remember, Christianity is not a religion but it is all about our relationship with Jesus Christ. Based on the dictionary, communication is the exchanging of information. Imagine if you cannot communicate, will there be a lasting relationship? When there is no good communication, there is no good relationship”. Language in our relationship with God includes so many things. The level and strength of our faith, the priority and essence of our prayer requests as well as the state of our hearts determine whether or not we speak a language God would understand just as Evangelist Cindy observed: “What the Bible says in James 4:3 is true that many do not have because they do not ask but many ask/ pray and yet do not receive because they ask amiss (wrongly).  We need to know the language first before we can get it right. In our relationship with God, by prayer, we speak to God and when you read the Bible, you hear God speak. One is not complete without the other. This is what happens when we read. Remember, prayer has language. God only hears the language of the Bible. So, talk God’s language, talk faith”. She went ahead to explain that God cherishes our faith, especially when we exercise it with total commitment and confidence: Brethren, it is funny to see Christians sweating while praying as if everything depends on them. Prophet T.B. Joshua always encourages us that we must work hard as if everything depends on us and pray as if everything depends on God. Remember, it is God that makes it happen. Therefore, your failure to act faith nullifies your prayer.  Brethren, without faith, it is impossible for you to reach God and His promises or to receive answer to your prayer”. Evangelist Cindy also extolled the attitude of some Biblical characters who became models of the Christian faith due to their unshaken conviction in the ability of God, through His Son, Jesus to grant their heart desires: “Look at the woman with the issue of blood, it was very tight when multitudes of people were moving together; you will not know who touched you but how did Jesus know that it was that woman with the issue of blood who touched the hem of His garment? How did she attract Jesus’ attention? What about the Canaanite woman. Thousands of people were talking, crying but how did she attract Jesus’ attention while shouting, “Son of David, have mercy on me”? How did Zacchaeus, the tax collector attract Jesus’ attention when crowd was following Jesus and Zacchaeus was just looking from the top of a tree? How? It was the faith in their heart that attracted Jesus’ attention”.  Having established the fact that the only language God understands is the language of the Bible, Evangelist Cindy concluded by encouraging Christians to hold on to God as their prayers still count irrespective of how long ago they have been praying, declaring that God is working out the answer: “Remember, your prayers for many years are not lost. Faith is a lifestyle of trusting in God, not ordering God around. Believe that God will answer your question on His own schedule. Ecclesiastes 3:1, 11 says that there is time for everything under the sun and everything is beautiful in God’s time. There is a time to pray or to send our petition to God but there is also time to wait in faith in Christ Jesus. They will surely come to you a hundredfold at God’s appointed time”.   TESTIMONIES Testimonies from different parts of the world show that indeed, God is daily working out something for our good. HEALED OF LUNG FAILURE THROUGH MORNING WATER MINISTRATION For Ms Karuhaka Ngotothirite, a nurse from Botswana, it was a scenario akin to being in- between the devil and the deep blue sea to take the decision for her son to undergo surgery or succumb to the deadly blow of a chest infection that had rendered the young man inactive in school. Sunday, July 12, 2015 witnessed a SCOAN church service that once again connected the people of God with their Father in heaven. It was a day the Lord Himself made and the congregants rejoiced and were glad in it.

Evangelist Fanny reminded Christians of the need to guard the content of their heart as it is the most treasured gift God has given them. In fact, she describes the heart as a treasury in a message titled: TAKE CARE OF THE TREASURY, YOUR HEART. According to Evangelist Fanny: “What a person treasures or values determine what he thinks about all day long, what he talks about and whom he will obey I mean determines his meditation, conversation and actions. God has entrusted us with a treasury which is our heart and the things coming out of the treasury translate what you regard as valuable I mean whom you decided to yield your spirit to. Just as there is no neutral kingdom, there is no neutral heart. Your heart is either a residence of the Holy Spirit or a residence of satan (Romans 8:7-9)”. In other words, our hearts determine the nature and quality of our lives. As Christians, it is from the contents of our hearts that we can be seen either as God’s children or friends of the devil.

According to Evangelist Fanny, we cannot occupy our hearts with worldly things and expect the Spirit of God to remain there: “As long as the things of the world are in place in your treasury, the things of the spirit will be displaced. I mean as long as the rocks of hatred, the thorns of unfaithfulness and the stone of un-forgiveness are in your treasury, the pearls of kindness, the precious stones of faithfulness, the silver of goodness and the gold of love will be affected – for a good man has a good treasure in his heart and from there he brings forth good things proving his son-ship”.

Continuing, she added that Christians fall into temptations and lose faith in God because their hearts are filled with mundane things: “Our heart is so corrupt that when faced with temptation, test and trials, our affection becomes unstable. We focus on man and lose focus on God. We place position, money and the likes above God in our heart and fail the test -because we are more of ourselves and less of Him, more of the flesh and less of the Spirit – not in harmony with the Word. We are hiding under the cover of religion rather than relationship with God – forgetting that the great thing God looks at and requires is the heart”.

To live a fulfilled and Spirit-filled life capable of making our hearts His dwelling place, Evangelist Fanny offered a recipe: “Let the Word of God become your database for your personal opinion. Love, kindness, good affection, tenderness, wisdom of utterance, power to counsel and good knowledge must be treasures hidden in the treasury ready for use as occasion demands. Your heart must be fixed and established on the solid foundation, the right source which is the living Word of God.You must do the Word, act the Word, live the Word, trust implicitly in the Word because God on His throne is backing up every Word – Him and the Word are one, if your heart and the word are one, your heart is heaven”.

She concluded by admonishing Christians to take good care of their hearts and ensure that it is always filled with positive things rather than the garbage of mundane considerations: “Take care of your heart – Be careful with what you think right now – always think positively. Let us remember always that Jesus still sees the treasury today, just as much as He had done during His earthly ministry. He knows the motives and purpose behind men’s action; He looks at the disposition of their hearts while praying, moving, talking – whether they are doing what they are doing to honour God that is in humility and faith or to be honoured by men with arrogance and conceit. You cannot do anything successfully and fellowship with God when your heart is full of evil thoughts, hatred, jealousy, greed and the like”.

During one of the prayers on Emmanuel TV, they had specifically asked for female twins. After that prayer, the continued to nurture their faith by even going to the extent of buying the babies’ clothing and naming them. After a while, Mrs Olufolaju became pregnant while the prayer on Emmanuel TV continued but this time around, the couple kept thanking God for answering their prayer. When the pregnancy was five months old, the doctors had insisted that they could only see a viable singleton – a position that Mr Olufolaju vehemently rejected contending that his wife was carrying twins.

“Whatever door the enemy has closed, let it be opened, in the name of Jesus! Door to your finances, door to your business, door to your career, be opened in the name of Jesus Christ!” As he prayed with Prophet T.B. Joshua via Emmanuel TV, Mechanical Engineer  Babatunde Moshood began to declare with increased faith that indeed, his six years of business setback were coming to an end.

He found himself unable to provide food for his family and school fees for his children’s education. BACK TO MYSELF

The more we see, the more we enjoy, the more we want. This is a life ruled by the senses – what we see, hear, smell, taste and touch. This was the life 15 year old Christopher Kalu found himself attracted to. Enticed by a ‘big guy’ in his community, the young son of a pastor, a youth leader and worship team member, Christopher began spending much time thinking about the things of the flesh. It consumed his mind to such a degree that he became desperate for power and possessions. While managing to maintain a ‘good boy’ image at home and church, he slipped out one day and joined a cult. THE MORNING THAT CHURCH CHANGED IT ALL

Mr Sani Mohammed thanking God for making impossibilities possible in his life

Experiencing poverty of the highest order after the death of his father, Mr Mohammed Sani Maibaba was looking for a way up. Faced with the immense task of caring for his three young children, he attempted to revive his late father’s dried-up petrol station in order to generate an income.

The station had failed to such an extent that even motorcycles avoided it and the road in front had deteriorated. While discussing the impossible undertaking with a friend, he was informed that he could see impossibilities become possible if he watched a SCOAN Live Sunday Service on Emmanuel TV. He had never attended a church before and was sceptical at first but as he watched the live broadcast, something within him told him to look beyond his doubts and see for himself.

During the course of that historic Sunday Service, Mr Mohammed received the ministration of the Morning Water. As the drops of water sprayed his face, the heavy burdens of poverty and frustration were washed away. He could not have imagined such a relief could come simply by entering a church.

Equipped with his own bottle of Morning Water, Mr Mohammed returned to the dilapidated petrol station and proceeded to minister the Morning Water by faith in Christ Jesus all over the compound. To his utmost shock, within days, the petrol station suddenly sprang to life, began making huge sales, broke even and reported huge profits. Encouraged by the breakthrough, he decided to submit an application to the NNPC, The Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation and ministered the Morning Water on it in prayer, in Jesus’ name. Out of 380 applicants, he was the only one successful and his petrol station became an official government petrol station. He then began receiving state government contracts.

Encouraged to extend love and charity to the needy from the teachings of Prophet T.B. Joshua, he now houses the less privileged and sponsors many to school. In response, the Federal Ministry of Information gave him an award for his humanitarian efforts.

In line with the instruction of the man of God to explore other non-oil ventures, he was able to acquire expansive land in Ebonyi and now also farms rice, fish and cassava. Today, 76 people in his community are now employed as a result of his business ventures.

Mr Mohammed encouraged all viewers to seek for solution at a living church for God stepped into his life the moment he stepped into the church.

THEY KIDNAPPED MY BODY BUT NOT MY FAITH

As Mrs Nkechi Ezimoha received the Morning Water and Morning Stickers from The SCOAN, little did she know she was being prepared for an encounter that would reveal the divine protection she was under. A few weeks later, gunmen invaded the 70-year-old woman’s home where she had placed the Morning Stickers. As they pointed their gun at her head threatening to kill her, she boldly began to call on the God of Prophet T.B. Joshua to rescue her. Infuriated, the gunmen began to fight, one arguing that they should kill her, the other claiming that something was preventing him from pulling the trigger. Frustrated, they commanded her to bring out her valuables, forced her into her car and drove off to an unknown destination. Thus began seven days of incarceration in the hands of armed kidnappers.

Mrs Ezimoha began fasting and praying with the Morning Water, believing that her children would be fasting for her release as well. As she was confined to a dark room, her faith becoming brighter, the kidnappers were confined to frustration, their demand for a ransom left unanswered.

Unable to handle the continuous prayers and acts of faith of Mrs Nkechi Ezimoha and her children, the discouraged kidnappers gave up and surprisingly agreed to release her. One of them even paid her transport fare back to her destination. Joyously testifying to the miraculous release, Mrs Ezimoha and her son Charles proclaimed, “Why should we be afraid of death when we know where we are going? Jesus is the protection we are under”.

Words are not enough to depict what a Sunday Service experience at The SCOAN is like. Lively, inspiring and uplifting all fall short of the full scale of the emotion, the exhilaration and the motivation of the great move of God on Sunday, 2 August, 2015. Worship brought the congregants into the court of the Most High God and opened the doors of their hearts for the Word of God.

In a message titled WHO YOU ARE, Evangelist Catherine gave the congregation food for thought from the Word of God: “When you open and read the Bible with devotion that is with love and reverence for it, you will discover who you were, who you are and who you shall be”. According to her, we are wonderfully made and can only discover our real worth when we walk with God: “Do you know that there is nobody and there will never be anybody quite like you? In Psalm 139:14 the Bible says you were fearfully and wonderfully made. But have you discovered your real value? When you do, a new power, a new goal, a new purpose in life will emerge. I mean, when you discover your roots in God everything becomes different. You’ll think differently, you’ll dream differently and I don’t just mean when you sleep, I mean your dreams and aspirations will change, you’ll have a sensitivity that you never had before”.

Speaking further, Evangelist Catherine observed that where we are does not matter as much as whom we are. In other words, it is our true character and not the environment we find ourselves in that makes us who we are: “Where are you? Are you in the palace enjoying all the mouth-watering rights and privileges of the king? Or are you in the pit with no light, no food, no phone, nothing? Are you in the warm arms of your father’s house, or are you in the cold arms of society? Are you in the beautiful field, or in the rough ground? Anywhere you are, it’s not where you are but who you are that counts. Who are you?”

Concluding, she urged Christians to strive to discover themselves in order to excel wherever they find themselves through Christ Jesus: “Even if you get to the best country in the world, or join the best church or group in the world or fall into the warmest arms in the world – if you have not discovered yourself, it will not last long because this is not Heaven”.

BE RELEASED TO WHERE YOU BELONG

“Where are you going tomorrow?” Mrs Akhiwu paused, perplexed. There was no prior dialogue that pointed to such a question. Why was the man of God asking such? “For an exam,” she hurriedly replied. “Don’t worry – you are going to pass.” Her heart skipped a beat. Did he know she had failed this exam on three consecutive occasions? What gave him such assurance to release such a statement? “Amen, sir,” was the only response Helen could muster.

For Mrs Helen Akhiwu, stagnancy marred her blossoming career as a paediatrician with repeated failure in examinations despite her academic excellence and studious preparation. One day, with Emmanuel TV on in her house, Prophet T.B. Joshua began to pray for viewers around the world. Rushing towards the screen, Helen began praying along with him, committing her career challenges into the hands of the Almighty. At that moment, Prophet T.B. Joshua prophesied a Heavenly declaration – “Be released to where you belong!” As she joined her faith with his, Mrs Akhiwu found herself sprawling on the floor, the power of God descending heavily within her house.

Upon seeing the dramatic encounter, her husband had a simple word of advice – get to The SCOAN immediately! Privileged to meet Prophet T.B. Joshua in his office, he told her directly that she would pass the exam – even though she never mentioned her past failures or plans to retake the exam to him.

Brimming with confidence the following day, Mrs Akhiwu set out for the exam venue undeterred by the rain that began to pour. As she stepped out, the rain stopped – only to restart the second she entered the venue. God was involved! “I could feel the difference in the atmosphere,” Helen reminisced, stating that everything about the oral examination exceeded her expectations.

Shortly after the exam had concluded, Helen was given the good news – not only had she passed the exam but was told her results were ‘exceptional’! “I am now a qualified Consultant Paediatrician and can be referred to by my new title, Dr Mrs Helen Akhiwu,” she ecstatically told The SCOAN congregation. Indeed, she was released to where she belonged in Christ Jesus!

ANOINTING WATER WASHES THE STENCH OF CANCER AWAY

A perfectly normal day in the life of Mrs Temitope Idowu Adetutu took a drastic turn for the worse as her right leg began to feel heavy. Shrugging it off as nothing, she continued with her morning activities. By afternoon however, the leg had began to swell alarmingly quickly and before long, she could not walk or move by herself but this was only the beginning. The huge swelling burst open into an ugly wound which continued to expand and spread until her entire calf had been engulfed in a ravaging ulcer.

Vividly recalling with tears the bitter experience of her affliction, she explained how she could not go to the bathroom by herself or take care of herself in regards to even the most menial tasks – eating, dressing, cooking and bathing, all of which she needed the assistance of her family to perform. She became dependent on a walking aid to move about and the problem even began to affect her urination. She could no longer go to the toilet normally but rather, all the fluid in her body began to leak out through the terrible ulcerous wound in her leg. The result was an unbearable stench that permeated any room in which she stayed.

When she came to The SCOAN, she was privileged to be on the prayer line and Prophet T.B. Joshua brought the Anointing Water to her and gave it to her, instructing her to minister it all over the affected leg. Immediately as she ministered the Anointing Water on her leg, her body began to shake and quiver rapidly. Suddenly, an expression came over her face as if a bucket of ice cold water had been poured over her, and she became calm. She rose to her feet and with a flurry, cast away her walking aid and began to walk by herself. 

A few days later, she discovered that the damaged skin began to peel away and new healthy skin took its place. Now, she is completely healed and can do everything she was unable to do as a result of the problem, including wearing shoes. She has also regained a healthy appetite once again.

Strolling about and tapping hard at the now healed leg, Mrs Adetutu smiled as the congregation and viewers worldwide looked on in wonder at what the Lord Jesus Christ had done in her life through the Anointing Water. Mrs Adetutu challenged her audience, “If my problem of many years was over in just days, how long do you think it will take the Lord to solve your problem? Trust in the Lord and He will work it out.”

HOW I MARRIED A DEMON AT THE AGE OF 7

The clock struck midnight. The unholy hour had arrived. Rudely awoken, Ijeoma had no voice of her own to complain or condemn. At the tender age of seven, she was about to be a victim of forced marriage. Taken to a local river, the site of the dirty ‘ceremony’ about to unfold, a sense of foreboding was palpable. This was the beginning of the end. But where was the groom? Who would be so loathsome enough to take an innocent little girl as a wife? Dunked into the water, she was told to prepare for married life. The only snag in this wicked covenant? Her husband had no blood or flesh; he lived in the water.

Brought up in a home where idol-worship was the norm, Ijeoma Ebom was accustomed to their unusual antics. But when she was awoken at midnight, alongside all her other siblings, nothing could prepare the young girl for what was about to happen. A covenant in a river to a ‘spiritual husband’ signalled the start of a life driven by demonic attacks and spiritual bondage.

Ever since that initial ‘initiation’, Ijeoma began having strange encounter, oftentimes seeing herself having sexual encounters with snakes and witnessing strange apparitions in her bedroom at night. An early marriage did nothing to quell the strange forces at work; in fact, they only seemed to enrage them.

Her marriage was filled with sorrow and strife as the ‘spiritual husband’ reacted angrily to the intrusion of her physical spouse, using every spiritual weapon at its disposal to ensure the marriage split. But Mr Princewill flatly refused. Various spiritualists insisted he was the cause of her unnatural sickness, even going as far as accusing him of using Ijeoma for a money ritual. The duo could barely sleep in the same room, talk less of eating from the same table. All the maternal responsibilities that Ijeoma ordinarily should have taken up were thrust upon her husband and their four children barely knew their mother.

Princewill had only heard unsavory rumors about The SCOAN, convinced Prophet T.B. Joshua was using demonic powers and never mentioned the name of Jesus in his ministry. An ‘accidental’ discovery of Emmanuel TV changed that jaundiced impression and the man the couple once considered heretical suddenly became their source of inspiration in the home. Eventually resolving to seek God’s face at The SCOAN, Ijeoma received her deliverance last week on Sunday when the Morning Water was ministered to her. It was an emotional moment for the family as a tortuous journey spanning almost 40 years finally came to an end. Testifying, husband and children were unanimous – Ijeoma had completely changed! The family had been able to spend quality time together for the first time in decades, depression had been replaced by happiness and the once daily nocturnal attacks were a thing of the past! INTERNATIONAL PROPHECIES

A tape was played of one of the man of God’s prophecies regarding the Malaysia 370 flight which went missing last year. In several prophecies given in the months of March and April 2014, Prophet T.B. Joshua revealed that debris from the missing airline would wash up on the shore of the ‘West Indian Ocean’, specifying that the item found would belong to the wing of the plane.

In confirmation, new evidence has come to light of a wing ‘flapperon’ along with dishevelled bags and luggages which could have washed ashore on the remote Reunion Island in the West Indian Ocean. Similarly, another prophetic message was replayed, this time showing Prophet T.B. Joshua in April 2014 warning the nation of Turkey to prepare for an attack related to a neighbouring country already involved in war. In confirmation, a deadly attack by ISIS militants in Syria against Turkey spurred them to take a military stance against the insurgents and fully join the fight against them.

The continued mercy and grace of the Living God, ever with us, ever praying for us and ever watching over us is the reason for our thanksgiving. It is all about Jesus Christ and for those whose lives are centred in Him, better is not good enough; the best is yet to come.

Amazing grace abounds here always. The devotion to worship and thanksgiving was such that brought out the best from the congregants. The SCOAN Sunday service of August 9, 2015 was another occasion inspired by Heaven for the redemption of lives and the restoration of peace and freedom to the sons and daughters of God.

Evangelist Bose took the congregation on an excursion into the depth and freshness of the Word of God in a message that bordered on our response as Christians to situations around us. Titled WHAT ARE YOU SAYING, the message dwelt on what is expected of a true Christian in the face of all the vicissitudes of life: “When you are faced with a trying situation which tends to challenge your faith in God remember to take your place in the believer’s authority as a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a peculiar people. We have the authority because Jesus Christ is supporting our position”.

She further said, “When you have a place in the believer’s authority, you have the name of Jesus Christ at your command. You can contact God in the name of Jesus Christ because God loves you just as much as He does any of His children. When you have a place in the believer’s authority, even though you walk through the valley of shadow of the death you will fear no evil. When you have a place in the believer’s authority, every mountain shall be levelled for your sake, every hill shall be made plain for your sake, every rough road shall become smooth for your sake”.

Evangelist Bose further stated that when we cry and lament over unpleasant situations we are giving our problems more impetus to magnify themselves above us. But commanding them to dance to the tune of what the Word of God says reduces them to nothing before our very eyes. Evangelist Bose captured the foregoing thus: “When you are crying, lamenting saying, God why me of all this, why me of all that, why me of all these problems, you are magnifying the adversary above our Heavenly father thus destroying your own confidence in God’s Word. The Word dominating your mouth would soon dominate your heart. The Word coming forth from your mouth produces an overcoming spirit within you. Never allow your situation, challenges or your circumstances to dictate the direction of your confession”.

In her final admonition, she urged Christians to guard their confessions so as not to give unnecessary strength and stamina to the devil to mock them and make them toys in the hands of his agents and discouraging situations that rear their ugly heads in the course of their journeys through life: “You cannot rise above the level of your words! It’s not possible; you cannot talk contrary to God’s Word and expect to win His blessings and His favour. Do you know that with your mouth you constantly paint the public picture of your inner self…? Let your words becomes the photograph of the future you aim, propose, you pray for, not of the future you fear. Your mind must be disciplined to become your servant not your master”.

OVERWHELMED BY MULTIPLE BREAKTHROUGHS

“How on earth would I weather the storm of these educational challenges”, he had thought to himself. With the number of candidates involved and with the very stringent selection process, Mr. Vengai Mukwena knew that he was indeed embarking on a mission to crack a hard nut. The Master’s scholarship in Japan which he had applied for had spaces for only 15 candidates even though 3000 of them sent in applications. His chances of making it through, to the carnal minded, would be zero but in his heart, there was a great ray of hope.

MR & MRS VENGAI GIVING THANKS TO GOD

After completing the application form he had downloaded online, he ministered the Morning Water on it by faith through the screen of his computer and submitted it. He was overwhelmed by joy when the results showed that he was among the 15 lucky ones. He was thereafter granted the scholarship and travelled to Japan to commence the programme. Meanwhile, he had quietly wished that his family come over with him and had continued to pray over it while ministering the Morning Water in Jesus’ name. Out of miraculous providence, a financial breakthrough located him and ensured that his family joined him in Japan. Having completed his programme, the result was even a bigger miracle. He got 21 distinctions from the 21 courses that made up the Master’s programme. What seemed totally impossible with man has been made easily possible by God. With a Master’s degree in International Public Policy, Mr. Mukwena is full of gratitude to God for the reshaping of his destiny.

DISENTANGLED FROM EVIL HABITS

That demonic voice called out to her, urging her, “eat… it is good for you… eat for you shall derive some good satisfaction from it”. Miss Kuagbenu tried to wave aside the invitation but each time she tried, it was as if her appetite was already magnetised by some unknown forces to do the bidding of that evil voice. Before she could gather herself together to fathom the reality unfolding around her, she had found herself eating clay soil with incurable passion. Her appetite for the strange delicacy became a family embarrassment as she became deeply addicted to it. Even when her mother resorted to pouring urine on the clay soil in order to prevent her from eating it, she would patiently wait for the urine to evaporate before she pounces on the earth pie.

MISS OLIVIA KUAGBENU & SISTER

In the process of this unwholesome habit, she had been rushed to hospital on several occasions and had suffered anaemia. She also succumbed to the spirit of bedwetting. For ten long years, her life was a mess. Concerned and hopeful on God, her brother who had been following the sad trajectory of her life, gave her the Morning Water. On ministering the Morning Water in Jesus’ name, the addiction to eating clay soil and the spirit of bed-wetting vanished instantaneously. Thanking God for her deliverance, Miss Kuagbenu’s sister told the congregation that her sister had refused to go to the boarding school in order to avoid the embarrassment of bed-wetting. She thanked God for the freedom and peace of mind He has brought into her life today.

BLESSED WITH BUSINESS AND FINANCIAL UPLIFTING

Every direction she turned to was greeted with the grim realities of failure and setback. All the time and energy she had invested into different businesses all amounted to nothing. Not even her sojourn in far away Netherlands could place her above board in an age when most Africans seek greener pastures abroad. Now faced with a huge debt profile and a gradual decline in self-esteem, Mrs Success needed all the help she could muster. But it was obvious she needed more than human assistance. Through a friend, she got to know the Emmanuel TV channel and installed the cable in her house. She would wake up and pray with the man of God via the channel.

MRS SUCCESS SANOU BLESSED FINANCIALLY

On one occasion, she witnessed the testimony of someone who was delivered from a case similar to hers through the Morning Water medium and made up her mind to get the Morning Water for herself. Immediately she got the Morning Water, she ministered it in humility calling on God to help her out of her situation. After ministering the Morning Water things began to change. She started a new business known as Emmanuel Consultancy and declared God as the CEO. Even though it was a business dominated by men, she was able to make a lot of success and breakthrough from it. Today, she boasts of so many customers, financial uplifting and a brand new Mercedes Benz car. Thanking God for turning her life around, Mrs Success urged Christians to trust in God at all times.

BATTLE AGAINST BARRENNESS WON

For 10 years, it was a marriage gone sour for the couple as they daily engaged in quarrels and counter-accusations. The bone of contention is that the cry of a child is far from being heard in the family. The doctors on their part had diagnosed the wife with poor ovulation and ceased menstruation while the husband was diagnosed with low sperm count. In the midst of their travails, Mrs Idowu dreamt one night of two men who came to empty her womb of the eggs that should have developed into a child. On waking up and visiting her doctor, it was discovered that her condition had degenerated from poor to no ovulation.

MR & MRS MICHEAL IDOWU – 10YEARS BARRENNESS OVER

Having been introduced to Emmanuel TV through which they prayed alongside the man of God, Prophet T.B. Joshua, Mrs Idowu had another dream in which the man of God, Prophet T.B. Joshua asked her why she was crying and then went on to tell her that she was going to have a baby boy. The man of God also revealed to her that if she had had a child 10 years ago as she had wished, the baby would have come with spina bifida. After relaying the dream to her husband, they decided to visit The SCOAN to receive the Morning Water which they ministered together as husband and wife.

Mrs Idowu had yet another dream in which she saw a baby. As she bathed the baby, a song came to her mind – “when the battle is over, I shall wear the crown…” Shortly after that dream, Mrs Idowu soon discovered she was pregnant and has since been delivered of a bouncing baby boy named Emmanuel Temitopeoluwa Chinyere. Filled with joy and unquantifiable gratitude to God, Mr Idowu revealed how unbelieving he had been to the extent of trying to discourage his wife from watching Emmanuel TV. One fateful day, he decided to join his wife to watch Emmanuel TV and he saw how people were being delivered from problems similar to the one they had been facing. He then realised what he had been missing all along by refusing to watch Emmanuel TV. He is so much grateful to God Almighty for this gift of a baby.  Aside from the blessing of a baby, they were also blessed with a brand new car.

RESTORED AND UPLIFTED

Mr. Henry Osabor from Delta state, Nigeria was doing well in his banking job until the unfortunate hands of life dealt him a deadly blow. He was asked to resign from the job and was told to pay a debt of 600,000 Naira which he was said to owe the bank. One Sunday, still dejected by the situation, he was travelling in a bus when he heard that The SCOAN was located nearby. He asked for direction and was duly directed. He arrived at The SCOAN with the intention of seeing the man of God but instead of that happening, he was absorbed by a voice which ministered a Scripture to him: “No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it” (1 Corinthians 10:13).

MR HENRY OSABOR GIVING THANKS TO GOD

Encouraged by the development, he was convinced that the Holy Spirit would locate him wherever he was seated. He was eventually at the Prayer Line where he received prayer from Prophet T.B. Joshua in Jesus’ name and afterwards received the Morning Water and the Good Morning Sticker. After ministering them in Jesus’ name, the unlikely began to unfold. First, the bank that asked him to resign called him back and apologised with a huge monetary compensation even as the purported debt was cancelled. On his plans to relocate, he had applied for a US visa as well as a Canadian visa. To God be the glory, he was granted a two year multiple entry visa to the US and permanent resident visa to Canada. What a mighty God we serve!

DISCUSS YOUR FUTURE IN CHRIST JESUS

“Many have changed the history of their lives because they fell into the trap of looking back. Many have not discovered the promise of God for their lives because they keep taking journeys into yesterday. Many have stumbled in their walk with the Lord because they built their future around their past and present circumstances”. With these deep and incisive words, Evangelist Justin engaged the congregants’ minds in a message titled, ‘DISCUSS YOUR FUTURE IN CHRIST JESUS’.

 Evangelist Justin observed that the totality of a Christian’s life is made meaningful only when it is viewed from the perspective of Christ who died for our sins. “What is your situation? Do you feel condemned, bound, trapped, chained down because of your past? I want to tell you that there is hope – Jesus Christ is the hope. Jesus does not look at where we are coming from but where we are going. He does not look at our present situation but our future – Jesus Christ enters our lives to put an end to our past and gives birth to our future”.

Speaking further, Evangelist Justin opined that our future as Christians depends on Jesus who was sent to die for us. He stated that our past is over when the sanctifying power of Christ falls upon us and makes us new: “When your past is over, you are sanctified by the truth of Christ. There is a cleansing virtue in Christ’s Word – the Gospel. God has, as part of His sovereign plans, brought us to faith by grace. This is known as sanctification, without which no-one can see God”.

 In his final words, Evangelist Justin urged Christians to put their past behind them and embrace their new identity in Christ while allowing Him to discuss their future: “No matter the situation you are in, remember, Jesus Christ discusses your future; therefore, change your thoughts and words and begin to discuss your future in Him… Never think or talk on the level of your old life – change your thoughts and words because you are new creation in Christ Jesus. Let your heart be engaged with God’s Word because if your heart is not engaged with God’s Word, it will be engaged with thoughts from your past”.

 PRAYING ALONG WITH T.B. JOSHUA ON YOUTUBE HEALED MY BACK

Mr Yuriy Shulga’s wife was tending their son at home in Ukraine when suddenly a strange pain crept through her back as she tried to pick up their baby. It was devastating as she could not move on her own spending almost two days on the same spot. Mr Shulga’s efforts to get the doctors yielded no positive result. Distraught and bent on putting the devil to shame, he went searching for Emmanuel TV on YouTube and together with his wife prayed along with Prophet T.B. Joshua. As they prayed along with the man of God, the power of God manifested in their home as his wife, who could hardly move, suddenly began to move all parts of her body without stress. The strange pain succumbed to the power of the anointing via Emmanuel TV.

Thanking God for healing his wife through Emmanuel TV, Mr Shulga urged people all over the world to keep faith in God and understand that distance is never a barrier to healing and breakthrough.

When he was merely eight months old, Mr Job Mark from Tanzania suffered ankle arthrosis after an injection that gravely affected nerves in his ankle area. He grew up with the condition and received ankle support from doctors. One fateful day, while playing football, he had injured his leg on the same spot where the ankle arthrosis had developed thereby complicating an already deteriorating health condition. He became socially isolated as he considered himself a physically-challenged person. The hope of living as a completely fit man gradually eluded himBut one day, he told himself some courageous truth and declared that with God all things are possible. He came down to The SCOAN and received prayer from the man of God, Prophet T.B. Joshua. In his own words, “After the prayer by the man of God, I felt completely okay and normal to live a full life again. All the pain in my leg has disappeared.  VIOLENT LION SPIRIT BANISHED FOREVER

Mrs Unnicia Shor, a South African residing in Israel, came to The SCOAN for spiritual rejuvenation and by the grace of God, was delivered from the lion spirit that had ravaged her family right from her father’s house. While the Morning Water was being ministered during a Sunday service, the lion spirit manifested through Mrs Shor.Roaring menacingly as the big cats do when confronted with danger, the lion spirit made a couple of shocking revelations through its victim: “I destroyed her husband and ceased her menstruation. I gave her alcohol to drink and she thought of killing herself. I made her tired of life. I entered her through a dream”. The lion spirit said: “I wanted to kill her but your master would not let me do so”. After exhibiting the usual stubbornness associated with demons, the lion spirit eventually fell to the power of God. It was cast out of the woman and she was totally freed from its wicked onslaught.

Narrating the story of her family after the deliverance, Mrs Shor recalled how her father had worshipped the lion spirit after he was attacked by a lion many years ago. She revealed that every member of her family was born with a scar on their left leg, exactly the same spot where the lion had scarred her father. According to her, her father exhibited violent attitudes which all of his children also had in them. She remembered her encounter with the lion spirit in the dream and how that encounter suddenly changed her life in the physical and made her want to shed blood at every given opportunity. She also confessed of the attacks she had carried out against her perceived enemies. It got to the extent that she preferred going to stay in the forest with wild animals to feel at home as a result of the evil spirit in her.

Thanking God for her deliverance, she celebrated her new-found peace in God and urged especially parents to train their children in the ways of the Lord.

PROMOTION OVERTAKES STAGNATION

Stuck in the centre of stagnation, ASP Fatima Ayuba wallowed in dejection and self-pity for 18 years without promotion. The officer with the Nigeria Police Force got tired of her position as an unconfirmed Assistant Superintendent of Police and searched for divine intervention. Her quest for God brought her to The SCOAN where she received the Morning Water.

She ministered the Morning Water with all the seriousness she could muster calling on our Lord Jesus to come to her rescue. After ministering the Morning Water, she sat for her promotion exams and came out with flying colours.

Today, she has been confirmed as a two-star ASP. For many years, she had refused to wear the old uniform bearing one star. She was happy to display her two-star uniform which she was wearing for the first time to give thanks to God for the mighty turnaround in her life. GOD’S INTERVENTION RUBBISHES DOCTOR’S REPORT

The scan result had shown that the placenta would come out before the baby even as the doctor said that she could only deliver her baby through caesarean section. When this information hit her like a bolt out of the blue, Rachel ran down to The SCOAN after agreeing with her husband and mother. On getting inside the church auditorium, she felt a sensation and on her way to the bathroom, she noticed blood on her body. She became weak and had to be attended to by the ushers.

When her case got to the hearing of the man of God, he immediately sent an evangelist to minister the Morning Water on her. Ministering the Morning Water, the evangelist commanded her to deliver her baby safely, in Jesus’ name. Almost immediately, Rachel delivered a baby boy without any stress. Contrary to the result of the scan and the doctor’s verdict, her baby came out first followed shortly by the placenta. Testifying before a moved congregation, Rachel urged people to get the Morning Water and hold on to God.

 ASTONISHED BY FAVOUR FOR SUPPORTING THE FAMILIES OF THE MARTYRS OF FAITH

Mrs Mweene Kambombi from Zambia hearkened to the directive of the man of God on extending love to the families and victims of the September 12, 2014 incident at The SCOAN and God in turn blessed her beyond her expectations. As a second year student in a private university, she also worked as a civil servant but wanted her education to be sponsored through scholarship because she did not have enough financial muscle to see herself through school. An attempt to get the government sponsor her education failed on the grounds that government scholarships exclude students from private universities.

She got involved in the extension of love, care and assistance to the families of the Martyrs of Faith and even travelled down to South Africa all the way from Zambia for that cause. She believed in her heart that whatever she did for them, God would do for her even more abundantly. And true to her belief and prayer, God used the World Bank to bless her life. The World Bank offered her a four-year scholarship with more than double the funds she had envisaged. Their stolen car was also recovered after they made monetary contribution to the families of the Martyrs of Faith. Expressing her heartfelt gratitude to God for His flawlessness in rewarding His children, she advised people all over the world to love God and involve Him in all their projects.

On Sunday 23 August, 2015, the congregation at The SCOAN extolled the name of God as the Emmanuel Singers raised praises to God centred on the Word. No doubt, the grace of God is upon His people and His banner over them is love. Evangelist Rikhard took the church on an excursion into the scriptures with his message titled

THE SECRET OF OUR STRENGTH. He encouraged Christians to hold on to God and their faith even in the face of a world full of troubles and discouraging situations, noting that the secret of our strength as Christians lie in our unshakeable faith in God and His Word. “When the three Hebrew men, in Daniel 3, faced the fiery furnace, they never changed their confession. When Joseph found himself in life-threatening circumstances, he never abandoned his dream. When David slipped into moral failure, he never stayed there. When Job lost it all, he never lost his faith. When Jesus Christ, the Son of God hung on the Cross and people said it was the end, Jesus boldly declared that the end has not yet come; the best is yet to come”. In other words, the secret of the Christian’s strength is his or her unshaken faith in God in the face of harsh and unpleasant circumstances.

DOUBLE PROMOTION FOR A NON-COMMISSIONED POLICE OFFICER

Sergeant Saara Sakarias introduction to Emmanuel TV by a friend became the precursor to the glorious turn her life eventually took. Upon installing the cable in her home, she spent most of her time watching the power of God on display via the channel. By July, 2013, her faith had developed to the extent that she made her way to Nigeria to come and worship at The SCOAN. Before travelling back home, the sergeant had the opportunity to receive the Morning Water and the Morning Sticker.

Upon return to her native Namibia, Sergeant Sakaria called on God through the mighty name of Jesus to come and turn things around in her life and career as she was yet to be promoted in the last eight years. She made this supplication while ministering the Morning Water, in Jesus’ name. She specifically asked God to break every chain holding her destiny in bondage and appealed to Him to take her where He pleases.
One afternoon, while watching Emmanuel TV, a friend called to congratulate her on her promotion from the rank of Sergeant to Inspector. By the time she confirmed her promotion, it was discovered that she was actually given double promotion. Today, Inspector Sakaria is a commissioned police officer and the overall commander in her station. Displaying her promotion letter before the congregants at The SCOAN, Inspector Sakaria also revealed that she had received a brand new car to enhance her duties in her new capacity. She advised people all over the world to have faith in God and stay connected to experience God’s goodness in their lives.

ANCIENT DRAGON SPIRIT SENT PACKING

The atmosphere was tense, swelling in suspense as an evangelist ministered the Morning Water on a woman possessed of an evil spirit trying to defy all efforts made to cast it out. The more the evangelist ministered the Morning Water, the more the demon protested, challenging the evangelist with boasts that he owns his victim’s life, “I am an ancient dragon spirit; I am very old. She is mine. I have many powers”. At one point, Prophet T.B. Joshua communicated to the evangelist a superior spiritual strategy which eventually brought the demon to its knees, in Jesus’ name. After her deliverance, Miss Khatuna Kakheli, a Georgian national based in Spain shared the intriguing but sad story of her life under the influence of a stubborn dragon spirit that almost ruined her entire existence.

The problem had started from her childhood when she was barely six years old. She had a dream of the dragon spirit strangling her repeatedly for several nights. Because of that experience, she was scared of sleeping in dark places and only enjoyed her sleep whenever the room was lit. The problem persisted into adulthood and saw her go from one church to the other in search of solution, all to no avail. The dragon spirit spread its evil tentacles around the family, destroying anyone who attempted to help her. An uncle who tried to help her mysteriously died in a motor accident and her own father became a victim to cancer. Her mother was not spared from the vicious onslaught of the demon as her ailing leg was confirmed for amputation. On Khatuna’s own part, the spirit ensured that she never made good use of her adult life as she was also diagnosed with cancer and suffered bleeding for six months. As a young woman of marriageable age, most of the suitors that came her way were drug addicts, mafia members and other men of questionable character.
She became a vagabond, leaving her native country and heading to Spain on foot under the rebellious influence of the dragon spirit in company of a friend – birds of the same feather. They traversed seven different countries on foot before reaching Spain. No iota of fear ever popped up in her mind as she was destined for total annihilation by the dragon spirit. Back home in Georgia, the cycle of doom was far from abating as her family lost everything resulting to the homelessness of her parents.
In the midst of all the troubles facing her life, she made up her mind to find a lasting solution to a problem that has torn her life and those of other family members apart for too long. It was that sincere quest for redemption and salvation that brought her to The SCOAN where the Almighty once again proved that He is omnipotent. Her deliverance was herculean but was worth all the hassle that came with it. Even her father who suffered from cancer revealed his gradual healing since she was delivered.

Miss Khatuna Kakheli was beaming with smiles as she testified before a congregation that shared in her joy. Thanking God for her deliverance, she urged the congregants and people all over the world to continue to seek for their deliverance, confident that Jesus is their Deliverer.
TIME UP FOR MULTIPLE FIBROID AND BARRENNESS AS BABY ARRIVES

Mr and Mrs Uche Nwoke were not a happy couple at all. Shedding of tears became a recurring activity in their marriage. After several years of living as husband and wife, the cry of a child was not heard in their midst. Repeated visits to the doctors showed that Mrs Uche had multiple fibroids and required surgeries to be able to practicalise her dream of bearing a child. But rather than dance to the tune of the doctors, the couple agreed and opted to visit The SCOAN.

When they arrived, they were privileged to meet with the man of God who laid hands on Mrs Uche, prayed for her and gave her the Morning Water. By the time the couple got home, they ministered the Morning Water in prayer and continued their normal lives as husband and wife. To their joy, Mrs Uche became pregnant and gave birth to a beautiful baby girl. In addition to their bundle of joy, God also used the man of God to secure Mr Uche’s land and provided him with the resources to construct a two-storey building on the same land. Today, the family lives together in their own house with their baby.
Both husband and wife expressed their heart-felt appreciation to God for using The SCOAN and Prophet T.B. Joshua to wipe away their tears. They encouraged people to use the Morning Water and experience the power of God in it.
KIDNAPPERS RELEASE VICTIM, BEG FOR FORGIVENESS

Mr Onya Adol had accompanied his children to church for thanksgiving and was returning home when six men wielding AK 47 assault rifles accosted him by the gate of his house and whisked him away in their vehicle. Mrs Adol was alerted about her husband’s abduction by one of the house staff and immediately swung into action, placing his picture on the screen of Emmanuel TV and praying in Jesus’ name. The next day, she reached out to The SCOAN through one of the prayer hotlines, explained her story to the prayer warrior and was relieved when she received a return call from Prophet T.B. Joshua. After listening to Mrs Adol narrate her ordeal, the man of God prophesied that her husband would be released, in Jesus’ name. At the same time, as the kidnappers drove Mr Adol to their hideout, he ministered the Morning Water and committed his life into the hands of the Almighty God.

From that moment, things started happening to the abductors. One of their vehicle’s front tyres burst and affected the swiftness of their operation. While they fixed the tyre, they made arrangements to convey their captive on a motorbike to their destination. Mr Adol was tied and taken on a motorbike to the creeks and dumped inside a boat. A ransom of one hundred and fifty thousand naira was placed on his head.
It was beating galore as the abductors flogged their victim. They insisted that someone had paid them to kill him and wanted him to free himself from ‘death row’. They had even dug a makeshift grave for his burial. But the more they beat him, the more resolute he became in his prayers; he ministered the Morning Water continuously and prayed with the Faith Bracelet. Mr Adol then saw Prophet T.B. Joshua appear to him, assuring him of his freedom, in Jesus’ name. All efforts to squeeze money out of his family hit the brick wall. In frustration, the captors dismembered his Faith Bracelet. But as soon as they did that, they became repentant, begging him to plead with Prophet T.B. Joshua to forgive them, claiming it was a mistake. In fact, one of them never laid a hand on him from the very beginning because he had discovered that Mr Adol had a connection with T.B. Joshua and The SCOAN.

In the ensuing confusion after they had asked for forgiveness for dismembering the Faith Bracelet, they made up their mind to release him. They called his family and directed them to where they would find their father. To God be the glory, Mr Adol was finally released and returned to his family.

Thanking God at The SCOAN, Mr Adol, in the company of his wife and children, praised the name of the Lord for rescuing him from his abductors. He urged the congregation to hold on to God and admonished Nigerians to appreciate what God has done for them by sending his servant, Prophet T.B. Joshua to their nation.

MORNING WATER KNOCKS OUT STAGNATION

Mr Ojum Ite from Rivers, Nigeria, was stuck in the mud of stagnation for 31 years. As a staff in the state civil service, he was on level 4 since 1984. Most of the people employed after him became his superiors as he inexplicably languished in hopelessness and confusion. As he carried on with his discouraging life, he had come across Emmanuel TV in a friend’s house. Impressed by what he saw – the wonderful demonstration of God’s power – he vowed that he must visit The SCOAN and prayed to God not to let his own blessings pass him by.

When he got to The SCOAN, he received the Morning Water and returned home in high spirits, ministering it with faith and prayer. When time for promotion came, he prepared himself, ministered the Morning Water and headed to face the panel. Realising that one must present an approval letter before he or she is qualified for promotion, he called on God to help him through the medium of the Morning Water as he had no approval letter but needed the promotion earnestly. He prayed that the approval letter should not be the stumbling block between him and his promotion. When he was called and asked about his approval letter, a voice answered and defended him explaining to the panel that though he had applied for the letter, it was not given to him. And so on that basis, the head of the panel declared that he be promoted from level 4 to level 8 – a management level with a handsome pay package.

Mr Ite praised God for his promotion and also advised people all over the world, especially Nigerians, to begin to appreciate the gift of God to them in the person of Prophet T.B. Joshua.

BARRENNESS RECEIVES RED CARD IN JESUS’ NAME

Recurrent miscarriages and the loss of her first husband made Mrs Sarah Mensah’s life a miserable lot. Doctors had discovered that her womb was too weak to carry a baby, hence the barrenness. She faced the social stigma associated with women who cannot bear children. To make matters worse, all her siblings, including the younger ones have all had their own children but her case remained a mystery. She tried everything for eight years to have a child but it all ended in futility. Fortunately for her, a friend introduced her to Emmanuel TV and inspired her visit to The SCOAN.

At The SCOAN, she received the Morning Water and returned to her native Ghana. Back home, she ministered the Morning Water together with her husband and prayed for the fruit of the womb. A few weeks later, she noticed she was pregnant. In spite of her doubts, the foetus developed and survived till the ninth month. When she was about to deliver, the devil came playing a prank; the doctor told her she would have to give birth through operation but she would have none of that expensive joke.

As her faith led her, she delivered her baby successfully without operation. Holding her baby as she testified before the elated congregation, Mrs Mensah expressed much gratitude to God and urged viewers all over the world to put their trust in God.

LIFTED ABOVE LACK AND POVERTY
Miss Stephanie Norvor suffered untold hardship to the extent that it was difficult to find food to eat. She struggled with life and found herself being exploited by men. Her search for grace remained unbreakable and eventually yielded fruit. She came across Emmanuel TV in a friend’s house and fell in love with the way the man of God gave to the needy and this motivated her to become an Emmanuel TV Partner. As she became a partner, the wind of fortune began to blow towards her. Her life started taking a promising turn; her bead-making business began to boom. She rented a very big apartment with all necessary facilities and used it as an office where she displayed her products and trained students in bead-making. A young woman who could not feed herself is now offering employment and training to others. It could only be God. Wives of the affluent, politicians and celebrities patronise her regularly as money keeps flying into her bank account. Her life of lack and poverty is now in the dustbin of history as prosperity has taken over. Testifying before the congregation in company of a friend, Miss Norvor thanked God for lifting her from grass to grace and urged people to partner with God through Emmanuel TV Partnership.

“Jesus Christ spoke the Word; it healed the sick and broke the power of demons over men. The Apostles spoke the Word, the sick were healed and multitudes were recreated. I believe, when we preach Christ to you today, the sick will be healed, the lame will walk, the blind will see, the deaf will hear, the captives will be set free and the broken hearted will be made whole, the power of sin and satan will be broken off you and you will be recreated in Christ Jesus because God’s Word is the same yesterday, today and forever”. With these words, Evangelist Edward animated the atmosphere with kingdom consciousness even as the congregants shouted their hearts out in praise and thanksgiving anchored by the Emmanuel Singers. The Word of God, no doubt, addresses all our situations and remains the standard for every true Christian who desires victory over the inevitable obstacles of life.

In a sermon titled AGREE WITH GOD’S WORD, Evangelist Edward encouraged Christians to stick to God’s Word as it is the only perfect assurance of our victory over satan and discouraging situations that pop up in life: “Never doubt your salvation. As a Christian, satan cannot snatch you away from God. He will try but he will not succeed. Never for a moment think that God’s power and ability is not enough to overcome your challenges. We confess only what God says. We hold fast to that confession with a fearless consciousness that the Word of God can never fail. We say what God has said over and over until the thing promised in His Word and desired in our hearts is fully manifested in our lives”.

CAREER STAGNATION BOWS TO GOD’S POWER

Mr Morgan Mulilo was stuck on one rank for seven years without promotion. The Zambian immigration officer, in spite of his posting as officer-in-charge to a new district, remained on the same rank of Assistant Immigration Officer. The stagnancy notwithstanding, Mr Mulilo was optimistic that things will get better. His level of faith was displayed when he simulated his promotion by creating a prototype of his envisioned rank, hoping it will soon be a reality. In the midst of his expectations, his wife came down to The SCOAN to seek the face of God.

When Mrs Mulilo arrived at The SCOAN she was opportune to see the man of God who prayed for her family and gave her the Morning Water. On her return to Zambia, she prayed alongside her husband, asking God to prove Himself in their situation. They ministered the Morning Water on themselves and especially on Mr Mulilo’s shoulder in anticipation of his promotion. Within that month, things took a miraculous turn. Mr. Mulilo was called to come for a letter in his regional office. The content of the letter were his back-dated (taking effect from January 2, 2013) promotion from Assistant Immigration Officer to Immigration Officer as well as his new salary package. By the time he went for his April, 2015, he discovered that his new salary arrears had been paid right from January 2, 2013.

Singing and dancing in gratitude to God before a delighted congregation, Mr Mulilo urged people all over the world to put their faith in action by reaching out to God whenever situations go beyond their power just as the woman of the issue of blood did in the Holy Bible.

FINANCIAL HARDSHIP SHOWN THE EXIT DOOR

Life for Mr Olushola Kolawole was a struggle. The Sokoto-based general contractor who was once a mega contract executor found it difficult to make ends meet. Instead of the usual big contracts, he was awarded insignificant ones. Sometimes, he would not be paid at all. He could not sit down and watch his life continue the way it was going. He resorted to watching Emmanuel TV and became greatly inspired with the teeming miracles that happen at The SCOAN. Armed with an unflinching faith, he came down to the Arena of Liberty where he received the Morning Water.

When he returned to Sokoto, he ministered the Morning Water and waited for the manifestation of God’s power. After a short while, he ran into an advert requiring contractors to bid for a federal government contract. Despite the number of bidding companies that competed with him, he was not moved as he ministered the Morning Water on his company documents and sent them to the advertiser. Weeks later, he was informed that he won the contract. Even though he had no funds to execute the contracts, as he continued ministering the Morning Water, the next day, people who owed him called him to come for his money. As at the time of his testimony, he had executed 75 percent of the project. Bubbling with rekindled hope and joy, Mr Kolawole thanked God for his restoration and urged the congregation to continue to repose their faith in God even as he advised them to make use of God’s grace in the Morning Water medium.

DELIVERED, BLESSED AND UPLIFTED

Mrs Beatha Andima from Namibia was a notorious consumer of green bottles. She would drink herself to a stupor and misbehave, continuing to wallow in that pitiable life for so many years. She would stock her fridge with beer and would not even remember to drink water. She was under the yoke of that unwholesome life until a friend introduced her to Emmanuel TV. While watching the channel one day, her attention was caught by the manifestation of God’s power as the man of God, Prophet T.B. Joshua prayed for a pregnant woman. According to her, as the baby in the pregnant woman’s womb shook, she found herself vomiting blood in her room. And since that day in 2012, she stopped drinking alcohol.

Sometime in 2013, Mrs Andima visited The SCOAN and received prayer at the Prayer Line after which she returned to her country and met her husband. According to her, the same week she met her husband was the same week she became pregnant. She eventually delivered a baby boy in 2014. As she continued to witness God’s grace in her life, the devil also came with his trouble. One day, her son fell to the ground and lost consciousness. She made for her Morning Water and ministered it on him. After three hours, the boy came back to life even though he looked weak and passed out reddish urine. In order to ascertain the nature of his ailment, she took him to the doctor who observed that he had a hole in the heart. On hearing the doctor’s observation, Mrs Andima rejected it and called on the God of T.B. Joshua saying, “Lord, You revived my dying son. I don’t believe You will leave a hole in his heart”.

After praying and ministering the Morning Water, she returned to the doctor for a check up. The same doctor who said the child had a hole in the heart confirmed that he could not see a thing like that. The hole was nowhere to be found! To cap up her story of victory, God also blessed Mrs Andima with a lucrative teaching job even though she had no prior teaching experience. She was not even employed as a green horn; she was placed in a respectable position. She had dreamt and seen the man of God declare that she would be a teacher with a good job on the way. Mrs Andima encouraged people all over the world to hold the word of God in awe and believe in it so that God will meet their needs.

BAKER’S CYST CONSUMED BY HOLY GHOST FIRE

For a month and half, Mrs Elizabeth Kamene was almost rendered useless by an excruciating pain that seized her by the leg one morning, as she made her way to work. The heavy medication coupled with her inability to go to work afterwards turned into a nightmare she had to cope with. After comprehensive medical tests, she was diagnosed with baker’s cyst. Placed on sick leave, she continued to swallow her pain killers without much relief. She was on the verge of giving up on getting a solution when she contacted a group of Kenyans who were visiting The SCOAN to help her get the Morning Water.

When she received the Morning Water, precisely a day before she was billed to return for another medical examination, she ministered it in faith concerning her condition and asked God to heal her, stressing that she had seen many people give testimonies. After praying with the Morning Water, she went for the test the next day. In accordance with her faith, the doctors found nothing! The baker’s cyst had disappeared. Even the doctors were confused why she would come for such a test not knowing that God was at work over a condition that had been diagnosed by the previous doctors. Mrs Kamene advised people all the world to have faith in God.

MULTIPLE BLESSINGS FOR AN ‘UNKNOWN’ SOLDIER

For twenty three years, Sergeant Agustine Ogbu remained stuck on the same rank. All efforts to get promotion hit the brick wall. Frustrated and tired of trying, he carried on with his life looking up to God for his future. One day, his son walked up to him and said he wanted to enlist into the Nigerian army. Sergeant Ogbu was mad at his so for attempting to join a body that did not treat him fairly. Moreover, as a junior and non-commissioned officer, it would be difficult for his son to get admission, bearing in mind the practice of nepotism in the Nigerian system.

Suddenly, Sergeant Ogbu changed his mind. With the Morning Water in his possession, he encouraged his son to enlist in the army, urging him to minister the Morning Water at every stage of the enlistment process. Doing as his father instructed him, the young Ogbu passed all the stages including the medical, credential and physical screening. At the final exams, he also came out in flying colours and was offered admission to study a 5 year course at the Nigerian Defence Academy.

Since he started ministering the Morning Water, things took a promising turn for Mr Ogbu and his family. He began the construction of his own house and also bought a car for his wife. His son’s not too encouraging WAEC results were redeemed after another attempt that involved the ministration of the Morning Water. As it stands, Mr Emmanuel Ogbu will be commissioned a senior cadet officer of the Nigerian Air force in five years time. Sergeant Ogbu is delighted that what he could not achieve is finally coming to him through his son. More significantly is the fact that by the time his son graduates, Sergeant Ogbu will be junior in rank to him and would salute him in line with military hierarchy.

Testifying in company of his son and wife, Sergeant Ogbu advised parents to remain focused and learn not to underestimate their children and never to assess them from face value. Nothing you could possibly do could stop God from loving you. There is no situation that could sever, cut or break that connection. Always remember – He is supporting your position, backing you up, praying that your faith shall not fail as long as you keep strong in His Word”.

With her counsels backed up with scriptural exemplifications, the atmosphere radiated illimitable joy as the Emmanuel Singers took praise and worship to the next level. The plethora of testimonies that followed showed that Sunday, September 6, 2015 would be forever imprinted in the minds of all who witnessed it.

SPIRIT OF BEDWETTING SENT TO THE PIT OF HELL

Mrs Gladys Sandow from Ghana carried over the problem of bedwetting from a young age into her marital life. It was so embarrassing for a mother of twins to wet the bed and have to place her children at the spot to cover up. While all this continued, Mr Sandow was not in the know. The bubble however burst one day when her husband saw urine on their bed. At that time, the kids were already grown and slept in another room. Mr Sandow did not take it lightly with his wife. He was angered by her attitude to the problem. He felt she should have opened up to him.

Mrs Sandow in a bid to find solution shared the problem with her mother who also confirmed that she had experienced the same problem when she got married. It was obvious the problem had more to it than met the ordinary eyes. A family curse became the prime suspicion. After praying fervently with her mother, she sent her brother to Nigeria to get her the Morning Water. On receiving the Morning Water from The SCOAN in January 2013, she ministered it and went to sleep.

In her dream, she found herself at The SCOAN with the man of God praying for her in the auditorium and casting out the foul spirit that had been troubling her life. In that same dream, a strange woman walked out of her body even as a coconut also dropped out of her. Since that day till date, she has never encountered the problem again. Sharing in the joy of her deliverance in company, Mr Sandow advised people all over the world to look up to God and continue to pray.

BARRENESS GIVEN THE MARCHING ORDER

Mrs Udofia’s only pregnancy was a fatal one known in medical parlance as ectopic pregnancy which resulted in a surgery that saw her lose one of her tubes. Matters got worse as she became very scared of getting pregnant because of the risks involved. With no more inkling about what to do, Mrs Udofia and her husband headed to The SCOAN.

The couple from Akwa Ibom, Nigeria, delighted to have received the Morning Water from The SCOAN, returned home and ministered it in faith backed by prayer. Within that month, Mrs Udofia was confirmed pregnant. As the pregnancy progressed, all tests including the ultra-sound scan showed that the baby was in good position and shape. Mr and Mrs Udofia expressed ecstatic gratitude for God’s grace in their lives and advised people to trust in God because with Him, all things are possible.

CONNECTED TO A HELPER BY PROPHECY

She had come to The SCOAN in search of a scholarship for a Master’s programme but unknown to Miss Yayra Boni from Ghana, the man of God had seen that her help would come from her country. Having told the man of God her problem, he declared that a scholarship was waiting for her in her native land. The man of God, in his usual charitable disposition, gave her the Morning Water and the sum of five hundred US dollars. On getting to Ghana, she was introduced to a very influential person in government and was told that seeing him would involve beating the huge protocol procedure of his office.

Determined to excel, she ministered the Morning Water and made for the office of the influential man. To her surprise, she encountered no protocol challenges as she was kindly ushered in by someone she had never met. When she got to the man’s office and explained her mission, he immediately put a call across to an organisation that assists students to secure scholarships. And that was the beginning of her success story. The organisation assisted her and helped her secure a full scholarship for her Master’s programme from which she graduated in July, 2015.

Miss Boni also encountered other problems such as job instability and spiritual contamination through nightmares of sexual encounters that often resulted in abdominal pains. Since she started ministering the Morning Water, those problems vanished. She even dreamt of three ladies who rose from the sea to warn her about introducing the Morning Water to others. Apparently agents of the marine kingdom, they confessed that the Morning Water will deliver many souls from the grip of their kingdom.

Thanking God for putting a new song in her mouth, Miss Boni advised people, especially youths, to run to God. She also encouraged those who have wrong and fragmented impressions about The SCOAN to change in order to enjoy the grace of God that abounds in Christ.

PROMOTED BY ‘FIRE, BY FORCE’

Mr Job Simeon was a Superintendent in the Nigeria Police Force. For seven years, he remained on that rank and prayed for promotion. His longing for promotion really affected him psychologically bearing in mind the fact that his rise from a Cadet to Superintendent did not take much time. Being an ardent viewer of Emmanuel TV who has been inspired by the numerous miracles God uses the man of God to perform, he made up his mind to get the Morning Water.

As soon as he got the Morning Water, he began to minister it on himself asking God to make his promotion a reality. After a while, news came to him that the police have released their promotions. He went to check and discovered that he has been promoted from Superintendent of Police to Chief Superintendent of Police. Thanking God for the promotion and describing the Morning Water as a multi-dimensional miracle worker, he advised people all over the world to make use of it in their prayers and experience the wonder-working power of God in it.

DESTINY UNCAGED AND ELEVATED

Honourable Monday Ossai from Delta State was hooked on wine and loved chasing women.  He would spend most of his time drinking from one bar to another and womanising. His life’s course was nothing to write home about. He had no house. The only property he had was a plot of land that was already turning into a dump site due to neglect. Worried about his fate, a friend convinced him to visit The SCOAN.

At The SCOAN, he received a prophetic message from the man of God concerning his life which was in a cage. The man of God gave him the Morning Water, encouraged him to help the needy, especially the elderly and also prayed for him. As he continued to minister the Morning Water, things began to take a new and promising turn. He built an impressive country home on his plot of land, built a bungalow for two elderly people from his community and placed them on a monthly allowance.

Since he started ministering the Morning Water, his old habits of drinking and womanising have stopped. Transformed, Mr Ossai thanked God for his liberation.

FAVOURED WITH LEGAL VICTORY AND BUSINESS SUCCESS

Mrs Suzanne Belibi, a Cameroonian medical doctor based in the US was caught in an ugly web of legal battles. The clinic she had opened with her husband was not allowed to mount its sign on a board it was supposed to share with a hotel. The hotel insisted they had to pay some fee before they were allowed to use the board and the car park. As a result, Mrs Belibi and her husband hired a lawyer just as did the hotel management. While they were battling that, an insurance company wrote to them through another lawyer demanding the sum of three hundred thousand US dollars as compensation in an accident involving their car.

Tired of spending money on legal fees, Mrs Belibi decided to run to God. She came to The SCOAN and received the Morning Water. After ministering the Morning Water on the signboard and her papers, she also decided to relieve their lawyer of their duty as she had a new Lawyer on the case – our Lord Jesus Christ.

With Jesus on her side, she approached the main person in the hotel and he told her to go ahead to use the signboard without paying a dime. Concerning the case with the insurance company, they filed an appeal which was upheld by the court, meaning that they would no longer pay the money requested by the insurance firm. Mrs Belibi also testified to the transformation of her clinic. According to her, before she started using the Morning Water, the clinic recorded a low patient turnout daily. But today, they boast of well over fifty patients daily. She advised people to have faith and believe in God.

AMAZING GRACE CHASES AWAY ABJECT POVERTY

Mr and Mrs Chijiuba Ucheanya tasted poverty in its most undiluted form. After their wedding, things became very rough. Mr Ucheanya remained on the same spot as a lecturer in one of the Nigerian polytechnics without promotion for a long time. The state of things brewed domestic rancour between him and his wife. They kept struggling until his brother came to their home and told them about Emmanuel TV. Convinced that they would be blessed at The SCOAN, the couple came down and joined the Prayer Line where Mrs Ucheanya was delivered from the demon that was responsible for all the family’s woes.

After the deliverance, the man of God gave them the Morning Water and proclaimed that they would come back with the mother of testimonies. And true to the words of the man of God, Mr Ucheanya was promoted from a lecturer to Chief Lecturer as well as Head of Department of Mass Communication. He received an award from students for his outstanding leadership style. Since he began ministering the Morning Water, he has built his own house, bought two exotic cars and enjoys peace of mind with his family. His children are doing academically well in school. He advised people to run to God.

KNOCK OUT FOR THE YOKE OF BEDWETTING

For twenty years Miss Hephzibah was troubled by the problem of bedwetting. She grew into adulthood with the burden that reduced her to a big shame among her peers. She would always dream of going to the bathroom to urinate only to wake up and find herself on the bed soaked in her own urine. The spirit in her made her very aggressive and frustrated. All her prayers aimed at putting an end to the problem yielded no results. A decision to visit The SCOAN became the precursor to her total freedom.

During a Sunday service, Hephzibah and her sister were in the congregation when the Morning Water was bring ministered. By the time the evangelists got to where Hephzibah was sitting, the young lady manifested. As the ministration of the Morning Water intensified, the demon that had been disturbing her spoke, revealing how it had tormented her and tried to destroy her gift of singing claiming that anytime she sang, their kingdom was affected. Taking authority in the name of Jesus, the evangelists commanded the demon to depart from her. Since her deliverance, Miss Hephzibah has not experienced the problem of bedwetting anymore. Filled with unprecedented joy and thanksgiving, she sang to the glory of God.

THE COST OF IMPATIENCE – A TEENAGER’S TRIP INTO TORMENT

A mother’s ignorance – a daughter’s innocence – a man’s iniquity – all these combined to tell the sorry tale of the Klay family from Liberia. One day 15 year old Bridget was with her friends after school chatting as usual. It seemed like any other day. Soldiers on a peacekeeping mission in Liberia passed and one of them, from Nigeria, pointed her out, telling her he loved her. Dismissing and ignoring the soldier’s hints, Bridget went home and quickly forgot the scene. Relationship was the last thing she had on her mind! Little did she know that her sister who had been behind had excitedly related the events to her mother.  On hearing this news, Susannah, the girls’ mother was extremely interested. If a foreign soldier wanted to have her daughter, that would take a huge weight off her shoulders! He would be able to sponsor her to school and it would be one less mouth to feed at home, she mused. Poverty had delved deep into the family’s fortunes, deftly dictating the direction of Susannah’s decisions. Susannah convinced Bridget that following the whims of this Nigerian man was the best thing for her future and her family. Reluctantly Bridget agreed and approached the man the next day. He obliged by promising to send her to school and provide for anything she needed. However, he was soon called back to Nigeria. Yet, by this time the following year, she had already given birth to her first child, her childhood innocence gone all too soon. On hearing the news, her husband sent for her to join him. Before long Bridget was packing her bags, saying goodbye to her mother and everything that was familiar to her. Her destination? Nigeria.

On reaching Nigeria, things were not quite as Bridget thought they would be. All the promises of school and study fell flat as she found herself stuck in the house, unable to move in a country not her own. Before she knew it, she was pregnant and gave birth to a second baby boy. Her ‘too good’ husband was not quite as good as he had appeared. Before long, Bridget noticed that on a regular basis, he was bringing different girls into the house, without any heed to her feelings or her presence. If she voiced any word of complaint, he would silence her with heavy beating. Getting tired, he decided to send her to his parents in the village. Bridget found herself in another world not knowing anything or anyone around. She was looked on with scorn and contempt by the relatives of her husband.

In tears of bitterness and pain Bridget called her mother to complain. On hearing her plight, Susannah could not believe her ears. After all, how could such a kind soldier behave in that way? She accused Bridget of lying and decided to travel to Nigeria herself to confirm the story. When Susannah arrived, the situation went from bad to worse. “He said he would send me to school – yes he did – guess what? This is my certificate!!” said Bridget in a voice of pained sarcasm as she greeted her mother, showing her young son to her. Susannah soon noticed that the soldier was just as wicked as Bridget had claimed. When she complained to him about his beating of Bridget, he in turn proceeded to mercilessly beat her. After a while, he got tired of them and sent mother, daughter and two kids packing with no money in their pocket and nothing but the clothes on their backs. Homeless, hungry and alone, the Klay family began to move in the streets of Nigeria, looking only for their next meal.

Both mother and daughter had seen Emmanuel TV and witnessed how T.B. Joshua had helped so many people. Determined, the family made a long harsh journey to Lagos and arrived at The SCOAN in desperate need of assistance. All they desired was to return back home. On hearing the plight of the family, T.B. Joshua with the support of the Emmanuel TV Partners presented the family with a generous gift of N400,000 – provision not just for tickets back to Liberia but for their welfare once at home.

In tears, Bridget advised other young people not to rush into marriage and fall for empty promises but to pursue their dreams of education and career first. Thanking God for His intervention through Prophet T.B. Joshua, mother and daughter, amidst tears, urged people to think carefully before they act. Bridget advised young people to learn from her experience.

“SYNAGOGUE” COMES FORTH AS BARRENNESS TAKES TO ITS HEELS

After eleven years of marriage, Mr and Mrs Obueke could not produce a child. While Mr Obueke was diagnosed with staphylococcus and low sperm count his wife was certified barren as a result of the same staphylococcus. All the frustration that followed their childlessness met their end when they visited The SCOAN and received the Morning Water and Good Morning Sticker from the man of God. A few months after ministering the Morning Water amid fervent prayers, Mrs Obueke became pregnant.

When it was time for delivery, Mrs Obueke laboured for three days with the hospital attendants giving up. But as soon as Mr Obueke ministered the Morning Water and Good Morning Sticker on his wife, the baby boy came out immediately. A dead child on a bed close to his wife’s which the hospital attendants were attempting to revive, suddenly sneezed back to life after the Morning Sticker was placed on its chest. Husband and wife expressed their profound gratitude to God for the wonderful miracle.

THAT DIFFICULTY OR CHALLENGE SHOULD INSPIRE YOU TO CEMENT YOUR TRUST IN GOD. LIFE IS NOT A BED OF ROSES. EVEN CHRIST HIMSELF SUFFERED FOR OUR SALVATION. KEEP BELIEVING BECAUSE AFTER THE RACE COMES YOUR CROWN. YOUR FAITH SHALL NEVER FAIL IN JESUS’ NAME

It is important to remember that we are members of a family – the family of God. Consequently, for an occasion like this, God should be the Invitee.

My people, we are here because of our loved ones, who fell asleep in the bosom of the Lord. Our faithful and true God will bring them with Jesus, a Rock against which you can lean even as the winds of mourning howl around us.

As Christians, there comes a time when we will need to say good-bye and sing a “requiem” for our lost brethren. It is right and noble for Christians to gather, pray and say, “Requiescat In Pace”. That is, for the soul of their loved ones to “rest in peace”.

It is now one year since our beloved brothers and sisters slept in the Lord. For those of us who find it difficult to let go, we must realise that their death is an unavoidable call – a call to our Heavenly home that no one can disobey.

Of course we all know that this has nothing to do with age, status, rich or poor or even the nature of death itself – as this happened to our predecessors, including the Apostles who paid the supreme price to bring the Gospel to all of us. Some were even beheaded at their prime age. Others were stoned to death in the course of the Gospel. Some others were even crucified upside down, not to talk of the ones that were dropped inside boiling oil.

For those who of us who cannot trace or touch the body of those who are resting in the bosom of the Lord, we must realise that such examples abound among God’s Generals in the Bible.

If you have not yet said good-bye in Jesus’ name, now is your fine grace to do so. You could write a letter to your loved one who slept in the Lord. Express your mind on the good and the bad. Feel free to do whatever you want with the letter. Read and seal the letter. You might decide to share the letter with either your church authority or pastor and do away with the letter as the Spirit of God directs. Once you have done that, leave the rest to the future with expectation as God holds our future.

My people, no mortal man or devil can supersede the plan of God for your life. As a Christian, once you understand and believe this, you set yourself free. Let us set ourselves free from this happening, as it is the will of God, which is unchangeable. When it is the will of God, it happens as His will. If you harbour offence, you cannot stay in God’s will. Let us not harbour offence because it produces more fruit of sin, such as bitterness, anger and resentment, all of which are the purpose and will of the devil.

On a number of occasions, many of us have become victims of maltreatment in the hands of wicked men and women. Honestly you may have been treated unjustly and you get offended. But when you harbour any offence, you fulfil the purpose of your enemy, thereby being pushed out of God’s will. When you free your mind and stop harbouring offence, you will maintain and stay in the course of God’s will. On the other hand, if you continue to harbour offence, you automatically become a victim and captive of the enemy, thereby fulfilling his own purpose and will.

Remember that nothing can come against us without God’s knowledge and approval. Let’s face the fact – if the devil who hates us with passion could have his way, he would not hesitate to destroy us at will. You must keep this exhortation before you.

No temptation has overtaken you except such as is common to man. But God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond limit (1 Corinthians 10:13). 

Don’t get offended, neither should you harbour any offence. This is the weapon to resist the devil. Remember the message of the Cross: “Father, forgive them,” said Jesus. This message of forgiveness points to the future and not to look behind.

Finally brethren, I will not leave you without stating this simple conclusion – why are we rushing? Can we reach the end of this road without God’s knowledge and approval?

“To God’s power, nothing is impossible! We have seen a sinner’s character being healed in the name of Jesus. We have seen a drunkard becoming sober, a harlot becoming chaste, an angry man becoming gentle, a liar becoming truthful – simply by trusting in Jesus Christ! Even though Jesus Christ is no longer visible in our midst, His power to save has not stopped and His grace to forgive has not ended. Jesus forgave and still forgives all manner of sins!”

With these words, Evangelist Gbenga called on Christians all over the world to jettison their past and focus on the infallible ability of God to do all things. In a message titled FORGET THE PAST, he reiterates God’s willingness to wipe away our past and give us a new life of glory in Christ Jesus. According to him, forgetting the past becomes imperative for all Christians because the devil often holds on to our past to accuse us before God and try to lead us away from His loving-kindness. The depth and incisiveness of this message coupled with the spectacular yet soul-lifting songs of the choir made the Sunday service of September 13, 2015 one to cherish for a long time.

TESTIMONIES

KIDNEY DISEASE CRUSHED     

Little Suzanna Fasipe was diagnosed with kidney disease and became a serious burden on the family. Her parents were adversely affected psychologically by her ill health. The little girl became swollen and could hardly sleep at night as pains all over her body made every night a grave experience. All efforts by her parents to find solution from hospital to hospital proved futile even as it got to a point that Mr Fasipe could no longer provide a dime and opted to sell off his car to take care of his daughter.

Mr Victor Ebele, a family friend to the Fasipes discouraged Suzanna’s father from the idea of selling his car and instead sold to him the idea of coming down to The SCOAN. All the way from Osogbo in Osun state, Nigeria, Mr Ebele led the Fasipes to The SCOAN. When they arrived, it was apparent that Mr Fasipe was desperate to see the man of God but was advised not to depend on the idea of seeing the man of God but to exercise his faith by getting the Morning Water. Mr Ebele eventually got the Morning Water and gave it to the Fasipes instructing them to minister it on Suzanna.

MISS SUZY HEALED OF KIDNEY DISEASE

After ministering the morning water on her and in her food, little Suzanna’s condition began to improve dramatically. The swelling and pains disappeared. Her sickly appetite became normal as new energy and zest of childhood returned to her. A visit to the same hospital that earlier diagnosed her with the ailment showed that she was negative and no longer had the kidney disease. Repeated tests over a couple of weeks maintained that she was negative and totally cured of the disease. Testifying in company of his wife, daughter and friend, Mr Fasipe expressed undiluted joy for the miraculous restoration of his daughter’s health. He advised people all over the world to trust in God and believe His prophets.

HEALED OF A RARE HEALTH CONDITION

Right from birth, Mrs Ernestina Baiden from Cameroon had suffered from a condition known as Glucose-6 phosphates dehydrogenate deficiency.  She experienced allergies such as severe headaches and received heavy doses of analgesics. Sometimes, the doctors gave her infusions in order to flush her system but all remained a futile exercise. The Customer Service Personnel had a horrible time carrying out her official obligations as she often went on sick leave to the detriment of her job. Knowing that her condition has no known medical solution, she decided to look for solution in God. She came to The SCOAN, received the Morning Water and returned to her country.

Watching Emmanuel TV back home, her faith was boosted by the testimony of a woman whose genotype transformed from SS to AA after ministering the Morning Water. Believing that her case would not be an exception, she ministered the Morning Water calling on God to heal her permanently of her medical condition. And to God be the glory, since the day she ministered the Morning Water, her condition has become a thing of the past. She is healed and no longer visits the hospital. Two different laboratory test results also confirmed her to be free of the medical condition that had threatened her very joy. She advised people all over the world to believe that there is power in the name of Jesus Christ through the medium of the morning water.

MIRACULOUS INCREASE IN CROP YIELD

Poor crop yield as a result of inadequate rainfall was a major challenge to Mr Emmanuel Chama, a Zambian civil servant who also embraced farming in order to supplement his earnings. With a large family, including five children, all of whom were already in school, he no doubt needed every additional income he could get. Faced with the precarious no rain situation and the low yield, he was in dire need of divine intervention.

Fortunately, a member of his prayer group visited Nigeria and brought the Morning Water to him. Filled with mountain-moving faith, he knelt down on his farm in company of his family and ministered the Morning Water asking for a bumper harvest as he planted his crops. When harvest time came, it was miraculous. Mr Chama harvested a total of 4 metric tonnes of maize equalling 10 times of his previous harvests. He observed that proceeds from the sale of the products helped him to take care of the school fees of his children. Mr Chama thanked God for the turn-around and for obeying the prophetic instruction of Prophet T.B. Joshua.

STUDY VISA GRANTED FROM HEAVEN

His uncle based in Canada had asked him to apply for a study visa to enable him to pursue his university education in the North American country. As bright and elating as the prospect of studying abroad was, Mr Daniel Umunnakwe’s hope was maligned by lack of funds bearing in mind the expenses involved in visa processing in Nigeria. Refusing to give up on the golden opportunity, Mr Umnunnakwe made up his mind to come down to The SCOAN to seek the face of God before proceeding with the visa application.

Apart from receiving the Morning Water for personal use, an evangelist had earlier ministered it on him. By the time he got home, he ministered the Morning Water on the necessary documents as he prepared to go to the Canadian embassy for the submission of his application. After praying and asking God to come to his aid, he went to the embassy the next day and submitted the application. After a short while, he received a call from the embassy requesting him to come for medicals. At that juncture, it dawned on him that God was already working out something for his good.

As he prepared to go for the medicals, he ministered the Morning Water on himself and once again committed the process into God’s hands. After undergoing the medicals, he left for his house. Two weeks later, he received a letter informing him that his application for a visa to study in Canada had been approved. Thanking God in company of his father and brother before The SCOAN congregation, Mr Umunnakwe said the whole process was a miracle because he had initially thought it was not going to be possible. He advised youths to worship God always and wait for His time.

ULCEROUS ARM INJURY BOWS TO GOD’S POWER

Mrs Edoka Solomon was trying to separate a fight involving her husband and a neighbour when her hand was battered with a wood meant for her husband. The wound that developed became a major sore in her entire life. The pain and discomfort were unbearable as she moved from hospital to hospital without solution. As the wound was rotting away, rats would make a feast with it.  Within the four years of her travails, she spent one whole year in the General Hospital where doctors suggested amputation as the only solution. By this time, both her parents and husband abandoned her saying they were fed up with her condition.

A concerned friend brought her down to The SCOAN where she received the Morning Water. Mrs Solomon continued to minister the Morning Water on the affected arm until the pain and discomfort stopped completely. After a while, the wound also healed completely. Testifying at The SCOAN, Mrs Solomon thanked God for healing her through the Morning Water medium.

TIME UP FOR LUMBAR SPONDYLOSIS

Mrs Grace Oyebola suffered from lumbar spondylosis for four years. During that time, she was incapacitated and could not carry out her daily activities without a lumbar corset given to her in the hospital. She was taken to many hospitals with none offering a permanent cure for her condition. Having spent a fortune with no favourable result in sight, she decided to come to God at The SCOAN.

MRS GRACE OYEBOLA

Placed on the Prayer Line, Mrs Oyebola received prayers from the man of God, Prophet T.B. Joshua who laid hands on her commanding all the pains and discomfort to vanish from her. Since that day, she has not felt any pains in her body. Testifying and demonstrating her fitness before a jubilant congregation, Mrs Oyebola advised people to draw closer to God as there is nothing impossible with Him.

She was not happy with her life as everything looked bleak and gloomy.  Even with a bachelor’s degree in chemistry, life was a stream of hardship punctuated by cataracts of momentary joy. There was no progress in sight and finances were abysmally in very short supply. Poverty and lack were obviously staring her in the face. Coming to The SCOAN in search of divine intervention, she received the Morning Water and returned to her native Botswana. Ministering the Morning Water and looking up to God for grace, she soon embarked on a journey to South Africa to pursue her Master’s degree in chemistry.

Having arrived in South Africa full of hope for a great and bright future, she was attacked by a group of boys who snatched her bag and beat her blue-black. When the boys ran off with her bag, containing her passport, money and other valuable documents, she ministered the Morning Water on herself and prayed, “Lord, Jesus help me!”  As they were running off, they dropped her bag. Even though the boys were eventually arrested, Dr Mudabuka refused to lay charges against them in the spirit of forgiveness.

Dr. Mudabuka’s outstanding focus, personal discipline and untiring energy took her to a new level in her career. Her academic passions and performance were soon noticed and instead of completing her Master’s programmme, she was upgraded to pursue her PhD at Rhodes University. Ministering the Morning Water in the name of Jesus Christ before, during and after her final exams, her results were so good that the university authorities decided to patent her research papers in other to protect them from copy right violators and plagiarists.

She graduated in 2014 and is now a PhD holder in chemistry. She proudly showed her certificate that stated she is a Doctor of Philosophy in Chemistry from Rhodes University, South Africa. Within four months, she got a job with double her previous salary. It is a research job in natural resources and materials. She now has the privilege to work anywhere in the world. All the People who knew her in the past now marvel and say that indeed God loves her. Testifying to God’s goodness in her life in company of her husband, she described the Morning Water as the blood of Jesus.

LEG ULCER EXTERMINATED

Mr Donatus Iwu, Nigerian based in Gabon was going about his normal duties as a professional driver until he began to experience body weakness coupled with severe itching. Uncomfortable with his experiences, he dashed down to Nigeria and visited several hospitals including the University of Port Harcourt Teaching Hospital. All medical attempts at establishing the cause of his condition proved abortive not to talk of getting a cure. Eventually, the problem developed into a leg ulcer that continued to eat deep into his flesh. He could not use any form of foot wear and his wife and children aided him wherever he went.

As he continued to contemplate what to do in the midst of all the pain and discomfort, a friend introduced him to Emmanuel TV through which he witnessed many great miracles and became inspired to come down to The SCOAN. At the Prayer Line, he was spotted by the man of God who laid hands on him. According to Mr Iwu, as soon as the man of God laid hands on him, he felt as if something held his leg and shook it. After the man of God prayed for him, he received the Morning Water which he continued to minister on his leg. To the glory of God, Mr Iwu is now his boisterous self as the leg ulcer has been completely healed. Thanking God in unison with his wife and promising to live the rest of his life in service to the Almighty, Mr Iwu physically demonstrated his fitness by jogging in the auditorium to prove that indeed God has touched him.

NOTORIOUS DRUG LORD REDEEMED VIA EMMANUEL TV

Mr Emmanuel a Liberian national started working as a drug courier as far back as 1996. He was introduced to a baron by his uncle who knew he was very bright and smart and could handle the assignment for the baron. Initially, he started by distributing 10 grammes of cocaine daily which eventually increased to 100 grammes. He also became a heroin addict as he would not do without taking the lethal powder in its purest form on a daily basis. Any time he failed to take the drug, he became very ill and would be rushed to hospital. Mr Emmanuel reckoned that his mother’s relocation to the United States due to the Liberian war of the 90s took a negative toll on his upbringing as he was very vulnerable to bad social influences.

In the thick of his psycho-social crisis occasioned by his addiction to heroin, his life became seriously troubled as he had really hard moments and needed an escape route. A friend he came across during his troubles introduced him to Emmanuel TV and urged him to watch the station to enable him to get some freedom from his troubles. The moment he prayed along with Prophet T.B. Joshua via Emmanuel TV, his life began the journey of redemption. As the man of God commanded everything that was not of God to leave the body of anyone praying along with him, Mr Emmanuel found himself freezing, unable to move as something came out of his body. Since that day, his life has not remained the same. Today, he feels 10 times younger. After his transformation, Mr Emmanuel made a public confession and became a social crusader against drug trafficking. He has collaborated with the Senate and Representative of the House in his country to enact stringent laws making drug trafficking a first degree felony in Liberia. He is now moving from village to village counselling people and preaching against drugs. His life has continued to influence other drug addicts who are moved to tears seeing one of their former allies now a changed and transformed person working against a trade and habit he once championed. Advising the youths to steer clear of drugs, Mr Emmanuel observed that many might not be lucky to survive the addiction even as he confessed that some of his former customers are no longer living due to illicit drug use.

COVENANT WITH RIVER DEMON BROKEN BY FIRE

Mr Chris Etta Peter was experiencing difficulties and could not make ends meet even as a graduate and so was desperate to make it big in life. He approached a friend and told him about his challenges pointing out his urgent need for some money to start business. The friend asked him to come back in a week’s time so he could take him to a place where he would be helped to stand as a man. When time came, he approached his friend again and they set out on a journey to the place where he would receive help.

On reaching their destination, a far away village, he was introduced to a spiritualist who in turn informed him that he would take him to the spirit that controls everything so that he could have all the best desires of life at his beck and call. The spiritualist also informed him that their journey to the spirit’s abode would have to begin by midnight. By this time, Mr Chris had given money to the man to buy ritual items including pieces of white cloth. Their journey to the abode of the spirit took about three hours.

When they arrived at the abode of the spirit, it was a river. The man controlling the spirit chanted a series of incantations to invoke the spirit. Apparently on another far away mission, the spirit answered that it was away but would soon be back. As the ritual continued at the river side, the spirit, heralded by a tiny shining light soon arrived from a distance. It was a very beautiful lady who beckoned on him to come. Mr Chris, stricken by fear was urged by the spiritualist to go and meet her.

By the time he went to meet the spirit in the middle of the river, she welcomed him as her son and she told him to turn while she washed him from head to toe with water from the river declaring that he would get whatever he wanted. After that ritual she told him to return at a later date for a covenant. That night as he slept, the spirit appeared to him in his dream and drove him around in a car promising to make his life better. As soon as he returned to his home, things improved dramatically. He started doing business and money began to flow.

By the time he returned to enter into the covenant they had discussed, the lady appeared on the left side of the river instead of the usual right side. She gave him an egg to eat and a drink from the river. She also warned him not to disclose the covenant to anyone and was also told not to get married. Before he finally left her presence, she instructed him to dip himself into the river seven times. After the consummation of the covenant, he received three pictures from the spiritualist and was instructed to place one in his house, one in his car and the other should be with him whenever he wanted to travel to.

The bubble burst when he made up his mind to get married. The spirit appeared and reminded him of the covenant they had entered into. She would appear to him in the dream and they would fight. After his wedding, all the money disappeared and the hard times returned. He could not even find the funds to join his family in the United States. It was at that juncture that he found himself at The SCOAN where he was delivered. Expressing his gratitude to God for his deliverance, he advised people to appreciate the gift God gave to the world through Nigeria, in the person of Prophet T.B. Joshua and his ministry, The Synagogue, Church of All Nations.

While the choir got everyone on their feet in excellent praise and worship, Evangelist Yetunde took the congregation on an excursion into those things the true Christian must do to please God, irrespective of the prevailing circumstances.
According to her, “It is very important for us as Christians to always appreciate God in everything we do in life whether in good times or in hard times. When we succeed in life, we must give Him all the glory and on the other hand, if we fail, we must submit to His will. The law of life includes joy, peace, comfort and contentment that come from the Lord.
In life, man is given the opportunity to choose among many alternatives that surround him. The choice he makes determines who he is before God because the Bible makes it clear that the first place we are to prosper is in our spiritual life. The best antidote against the poison of sin is to walk in the Spirit because in the arena of liberty the key is not to suppress the flesh but the key is to walk in the Spirit”. True worship indeed, is in the Spirit and it pleases God.

ABJECT POVERTY DISGRACED

MR CHRISTOPHER OKOROAFOR & FAMILY

Mr Christopher Okoroafor tasted poverty in its most dehumanising form. Life was merely a shadow as he begged to survive. His mosquito net business yielded nothing but empty pockets. All ends refused to meet in his favour as nightmares stole the comfort of his sleep. He continued to drag on with his life until he came to The SCOAN and had an encounter with the man of God, Prophet T.B. Joshua. Seated in the congregation during a Sunday service, the man of God walked up to him and told him to thank God for not being convicted for a crime he was innocent of. He immediately affirmed the prophecy by narrating his unpalatable ordeal with a young man who committed suicide and almost implicated him. After confirming the prophecy, he received prayer and the Morning Water from the man of God. Since then, things took a positive turn. He started a textile business, importing materials from China.

Today, he owns a magnificent building and exotic cars. Thanking God for the transformation of his life, he spared no words in expressing his appreciation for another miracle in which the Morning Sticker in his warehouse prevented loss of lives and property when a trailer rammed into it. Mr Okoroafor advised people to run to God whenever situations go beyond their ability.

ALL EXPENSES PAID SCHOLARSHIP GRANTED

Miss Salwa Braimah graduated with a first class degree from a Ghanaian university and was encouraged to apply for a commonwealth scholarship by her lecturers. Though she was passionate about education, she was not keen on the idea of furthering her studies but bowed to the pressure from teachers and family members and applied.

To her surprise, she was denied the scholarship but thought little of it and decided that she would prefer to work for a while to raise some money. Some years later, the desire to continue her education was fanned into flames and she applied for the scholarship once again. She came to The SCOAN and received the Morning Water but did not minister it, thinking that as a first class product, it would be a stroll in the park getting the scholarship. However, when the names of successful applicants were released her name was conspicuously missing. She was disappointed but decided to try the next year.

When another opportunity came up in 2014, she applied. This time, she had learnt to build her faith in God through the teachings of Prophet T.B. Joshua. Her love work became pronounced. As she was applying for the scholarship this time around, she ministered the Morning Water on the screen of the computer through which she did her online application. By the time the names of successful applicants were released, she was among the lucky ones granted an all-expense-paid scholarship covering travel to the United Kingdom where her course in Construction Project Management would take place, as well as tuition, accommodation and welfare. Filled with joy and a new-found faith in God, Miss Braimah observed that delay is not denial.

Mrs Maria Yaluwu was at the mercy of a leg ulcer that was toying with her life. The ailment would disappear after treatment only to reappear some months later. The scenario was not funny as she could not continue with her normal business life prompting her children to take time out from their matrimonial homes to lend a helping hand. But in spite of all their efforts, no solution was in sight. At last, doctors recommended amputation as the only way out. Her children, instead of succumbing to the suggestion of amputation, brought her to The SCOAN.

When Mrs Yaluwu arrived in Lagos in company of her children, she was lodged in a hotel while her children got the Morning Water from The SCOAN.

On returning to the hotel room and ministering the Morning Water on her, what happened next was amazing. As soon as the Morning Water was ministered, Mrs Yaluwu suddenly regained her strength and composure and sprang to her feet almost immediately as though she had never been disturbed by the leg ulcer. Testifying before the congregation, Mrs Yaluwu’s children glorified God for the seamless way their mother’s injury was healed through the medium of the Morning Water. They encouraged people to have faith in God’s ability to set them free from all bondages.

While Hon Martins Aza was labouring with the yoke of the spirit of bedwetting, poverty was also strangling the life out of him. The bedwetting problem was so embarrassing that he bathed his wife with urine after their wedding. He battled with this problem and gradually built his faith watching the exploits of the man of God on Emmanuel TV. He made up his mind to put an end to the disgrace. He came to The SCOAN and received the Morning Water which he ministered on himself. According to him, since that day, the problem of bedwetting became history. He is totally delivered.

As he continued to minister the Morning Water, the poverty that had held him captive for so long disappeared. He was blessed with four cars and a booming business and thought that God was done with him. To his surprise, he was introduced into politics in his native Benue State of Nigeria but never dreamt he could succeed with the power brokers in the murky waters of politics. While making consultations to ensure victory in his political ambition, his Morning Sticker caught the attention of a Muslim brother who confirmed that the man of God, Prophet T.B. Joshua is a true man of God. The brother encouraged him never to toy with the spiritual materials he received at The SCOAN. In spite of all the intrigues that characterised the politicking process, he emerged the honourable member representing Makurdi North constituency in the Benue State House of Assembly. He also doubles as the chairman of the House committee on Youth and Sports. Hon Aza advised people to have faith in God as He is using every medium to express Himself on Emmanuel TV.

YOKE OF ALCOHOLISM DESTROYED

Mr Wilson Ojogbo, a seaman by profession, was an unrepentant liquor monger. He was introduced into drinking by his late father who used local gin as libation to the idols he served. At age 8, Mr Ojogbo was already drinking to the extent that he would sneak into his father’s room and drink himself into a stupor. In spite of all the beatings from his parents, the drinking habit grew with him and refused to abate. When he clocked 12, he had added Indian hemp to his evil menu. It got to a time that he would not have breakfast unless he gulped a mixture of local gin and Indian hemp known as “monkey tail”.

When he got married and started working, the habit increased. He would drink and drive himself home, constituting a nuisance to his wife who greatly detested his lifestyle. On one occasion, stone drunk, he got involved in a ghastly motor accident. Anyone who saw the car after the accident would never believe that its driver survived. But the bubble soon burst after he failed a series of alcohol/drug usage tests. Having failed the test three times, he lost his job and was left to face the stark realities of joblessness. As he wallowed in those hard times, he made Emmanuel TV a companion and decided to come to The SCOAN to seek God’s help. After receiving and ministering the Morning Water, his life changed. The urge for alcohol ceased. As he continued ministering the Morning Water, three different companies showed interest in him. God eventually restored him to a very good job. He now has savings and enjoys a great time with his family. He advised fathers not to expose their kids to bad habits like alcoholism.

Evangelist Dupe’s message blended well with the resilience of the entire congregation who expressed themselves in praise and worship as the Emmanuel Singers provided the musical impetus for the spiritual edification of all present. With the instructive words taken from her thoughtful message titled THE RACE OF LIFE, Evangelist Dupe said, “Instead of magnifying the causes of your fears, you ought to arm yourself with the thoughts of God, His sovereignty and invisible world. The quality of faith is not measured by our attitude to God when things are good but when times are hard – I mean, when our fate seems to hang in the balance. Don’t forget our Lord’s prayer to Simon in Luke 22:32. Jesus said to him, ‘I pray your faith will not fail’. Don’t abandon your faith in trials. Trials are the soil in which faith flourishes. Real faith thrives on a test. In the face of life’s uncertainties, don’t give up; keep calm and be determined. You with God are majority. No matter what life brings, no matter what happens, you are under His eyes”.

FAVOUR FOUND ME AT LAST

JOY NDUZUKISO

Mrs Joy Peters from South Africa had tasted poverty at the most extreme level. She was retrenched from work in the private sector and left to wallow in abject penury and indebtedness. Her creditors kept calling to recover their money but how could she pay those debts when even finding coins to buy bread was almost impossible? Her cars, the most significant assets she had, were on the verge of being repossessed by her creditors. However, a visit to The SCOAN would become the precursor to her restoration. There, she received prayer from Prophet T.B. Joshua and the Morning Water.

Mrs Peters returned to her country in high hopes, believing that the much desired change was just a moment away. Ministering the Morning Water and saturating herself in prayer and the Word of God, she prepared her mind for the approaching glory. Barely two months after her visit to The SCOAN, she received a call that propelled her to an executive position in the second highest office in South Africa. The caller stated that she was being appointed as a ministerial spokesperson. The improbability of her story is a testament to God’s incomprehensibility – for He uses the foolish things of the world to confound the wise. It is ordinarily unimaginable that a woman who could hardly feed herself ends up as the spokesperson of an important national minister. It can only be God!

The position in which she was placed is usually given to highly experienced government officials, as confirmed by her colleagues who marvelled at the mystery surrounding her employment. They further wondered at the grace of God which enabled her to carry out her responsibilities with excellence. Apart from receiving a brand new luxury car, Mrs Peters was also blessed with a six room home, rent-free for as long as she desired. She agreed that her restoration was miraculous while thanking God for making her smile once more. She advised people to believe in the deliverance taking place at The SCOAN.

ELECTED BY GRACE

HON HABILA TIMOTHY & FAMILY

Honourable Habila Timothy from Taraba, Nigeria was a successful civil servant cajoled into politics by his local community who felt he had all it took to lead them. They wanted him to run for a seat in the Taraba State House of Assembly. In his first attempt in 2010, he lost by an atrocious margin. Not only was the campaign lost but so was his wealth. Life suddenly became difficult as he found it increasingly difficult to pay his bills. He even went to the extent of selling some of his property in order to make ends meet.

Sitting in a hotel room in the north central city of Jos, Nigeria, he came across Emmanuel TV and was impressed with what he saw. By the time he returned to his family, he convinced his wife about the power of God at The SCOAN and concluded it was imperative to visit the Arena of Liberty. He installed the Emmanuel TV cable in his house and continued to watch the power of God on display with members of his family. When he eventually visited The SCOAN, he was arranged for the prayer line where the man of God prayed for him and gave him the Faith Bracelet and Morning Water. According to Honourable Habila, “Something left me and I felt light after the man of God laid hands on me”. He continued to use the anointed materials together with his family.

In 2014, another call from his people saw him revisiting his political ambition. Even though he was not financially buoyant, he was able to raise enough money to purchase the nomination form. Unfortunately, he did not win the primaries. His people advised him to join another party in hopes that he could still win. Heeding their advice, he joined an unknown party and surprisingly won the primaries. Stunned, his opponents took him to court, seeking a nullification of his election on spurious grounds.

While the legal battle raged, he called the Emmanuel TV prayer and counselling line and prayed with one of the prayer warriors. To his great joy, after the prayer, he learned that the petition against him had been struck out by the court in his favour. He was legally declared the rightful candidate for the seat he occupied in the Taraba State House of Assembly. Apart from being a member of his state’s House of Assembly, he also doubles as the Deputy Minority Leader of the House. To God be the glory!

5 YEARS OF UNEMPLOYMENT PUT TO AN END

SAMUEL DUROJAYE &SON

Mr Samuel Durojaiye, a Nigerian based in the UK, was embattled and confused, his career as a financial service provider hit by the then global economic melt-down. For five years, he was out of employment, barely managing to survive with his family. His wife discovered Emmanuel TV, Prophet T.B. Joshua and The SCOAN while researching on spiritual matters via the internet. Convinced from what he had seen of the man of God and his ministry on YouTube, Mr Durojaiye made up his mind to visit The SCOAN in search of solution.

After arriving in Nigeria after a 28 year absence, Mr Durojaiye visited The SCOAN on a Sunday and received a prophetic revelation from the man of God. Walking straight to him, Prophet T.B. Joshua asked him, “Have they shared the will?” He suddenly felt a mighty force coming towards him as the man of God prayed for him. The presence of God he felt after the prayer, gave him the assurance that his problems were over from that moment. Leaving The SCOAN, he visited his family home for the first time in almost three decades and was surprised to discover that an in-law had recently passed on and his will was being fought over – exactly as prophesied.

Back in the UK, he ministered the Morning Water to his family, house and documents. Shortly afterwards, Mr Durojaiye submitted an application to become a member of the Association of Certified Public Accountants in the UK and was accepted. With this advancement, he started his own firm and life began to take a promising turn. Business started flowing in from different angles as he placed the Morning Sticker placed on all the doors of his office. Distinguished professionals chased him with jobs. He became an accountant of choice and a mortgage adviser. He was subsequently appointed as an independent mortgage adviser for a UK firm with a fantastic remuneration package. He now manages more than 250 business portfolios and has embarked on a massive building project on the plots of land he had left lying fallow in Nigeria for many years. Mr. Durojaiye is full of gratitude to God for using Prophet T.B. Joshua and The SCOAN to bring substance and meaning into his once meaningless life.

Those who are rich in every sense of the Word of God understand that life is a learning experience.
When we accept adversity enduring every pain, then we will learn what we should know;
our grief will turn to gain.

There are no mistakes in God’s plan for His children. What may seem a problem in our eyes may be the required ingredients God uses to catapult us to greatness.  Evangelist Elizabeth delved into the incomprehensibility of God’s will to human thinking, stressing that what we think about the delay in our miracles is not necessarily true. In a message tagged TO DELAY IS NOT TO DENY, she summed up the totality of our human conclusions (when things don’t seem to go our way) in the following words: “When sometimes in your effort to achieve something it seems like your speed, your motion is delayed. Sometimes when you pray it seems like you have been denied the answer or the answer is unnecessarily delayed. In this world God has purposely kept us in the dark concerning future events. The situation at hand may look like delay, but it is not. My father in the Lord, Prophet T.B. Joshua nicely sums it up that the slow movement of a tiger is not a mistake but a calculated accuracy. God makes our troubles work for our advancement. He makes our delay work for our advancement. As a Christian when your miracle is delayed you are about to receive the mother of miracles; I mean, a true Christian will know that to delay is not to deny”.

RESCUED FROM THE FANGS OF ALCOHOLISM AND WOMANISING

Engineer Stephen Kure worked so hard to make money but ended up wasting it all on booze. He drank himself to tatters and incurred the wrath of his wife who tried all within her means to put a stop to his unwholesome habit. For 36 years, it was all struggles with the yoke of alcoholism. All his earnings went down the drain as he could not point to one important thing he had done with his money. His immoral flair for women was also a thing of concern. After drinking, he would mess around with women, embarrassing his family, especially his wife.

One day, after watching Prophet T.B. Joshua’s demonstration of God’s power on Emmanuel TV, Engineer Kure asked himself some pertinent questions and decided to sneak down to Lagos to visit The SCOAN without the knowledge of his wife. On getting to The SCOAN, he received the Morning Water and returned to his base in Warri, Nigeria. Back home, he would minister the Morning Water, asking Jesus to help him out of his terrible habit. To his utmost surprise, the urge to drink and womanise disappeared within days of his ministering the Morning Water. Even his wife was amazed at the change that took over the life of her husband.

DEGENERATIVE DISEASE DEMOLISHED BY THE ANOINTING

Mr Tossa Francis was almost reduced to a debilitated state by a degenerated vertebrae that rendered him totally inactive for 5 years. He could not walk but depended on his wife and twin brother for mobility. Whenever he wanted to ease himself or take his bath, they would carry him to the toilet and bathroom, respectively. All quests for medical help failed as even the doctors insisted he had to undergo surgery abroad, particularly in France. Feelings of hopelessness and doom were already setting in even as he concluded he was going to die.

On the verge of his despondency, a glimmer of hope came. A friend introduced him to Emmanuel TV. Immediately, he installed the cable and began to watch and marvel at the undiluted display of God’s illimitable power. His twin brother eventually received the Morning Water and returned home to minister it on his brother.

The result was almost instantaneous. After ministering the Morning Water on his back and mouth, he felt a sensation and the urge to urinate. When he got to the toilet, he passed out blood mixed with blackish substances. As soon as the urine ended, he heard a voice tell him to rise up and walk. BLESSED AND PROTECTED FROM EVIL MARAUDERS

Mr Eze Cajetan experienced a lot of challenges that almost spurred him into the decision to seek greener pastures abroad. But his story would later change after an encounter with Emmanuel TV. A man who came to install Cable TV caught his attention when he tuned to Emmanuel TV. Mr Cajetan was impressed and inspired by the miracles he witnessed on the station. His wife was also moved by the miracles she saw. From that moment, Mr Cajetan started attending The SCOAN service and received the Morning Water which he ministered incessantly.

The first transformation he experienced was that his building projects which usually lasted over 1 year lasted only 5 months after he had ministered the Morning Water on the foundation. With the Morning Stickers placed all around his building, thieves who had been stealing his possessions without being caught did not find it business as usual anymore. On one occasion, he caught a thief at his building site lying down with stolen items, unable to escape. It took the confession of the thief and Mr Cajetan’s forgiveness for the intruder to be set free.

Joshua on Emmanuel TV, ministered the Morning Water and prayed with the Faith Bracelet. The couple advised people all over the world to remember to trust God in times of trouble and run to Him by coming to The SCOAN.

YOKE OF GAMBLING ANNIHILATED

Mrs Laura Westgate from South Africa, suffered from the yoke of gambling which had been a generational curse right from her grandfather. She would spend thousands of rands at the casino, gambling and trying to make more money. She was so engrossed in the habit that she would sneak out of the house at night just to go to the casino to gamble. At a time, she sold her car worth between 10 to 15 thousand rands for a paltry 250 rands just to satiate her gambling appetite.

She tried to stop the habit that ravaged her life for 25 years but could not. She visited many psychologists and even checked into Gambling Anonymous, a rehabilitation group for gambling addicts but all her efforts proved futile. One day, she visited The SCOAN and received the Morning Water. After ministering the Morning Water, the urge to gamble ceased almost immediately. Since then, she has not gambled till today. Thanking God for delivering her from the generational yoke, Mrs Westgate also thanked God for protecting the life of her daughter in-law during a car accident in which the car somersaulted three times. Mrs Westgate advised people to see the Morning Water as a medium through which God has instructed His servant to bring healing and breakthrough to the world. Meanwhile, Mr Westgate openly acknowledged the power of God at The SCOAN and repented of his induced misgivings about the ministry and the man of God, Prophet T.B. Joshua, blaming them on the unfounded falsehood propagated by disgruntled persons, including some sections of the clergy.

A BUNCH OF BLESSINGS MADE IN HEAVEN

Mrs Florence Atam, a staff of the Ministry of Telecommunications in Cameroon was involved in an accident that left her with a broken ankle and dislocated leg bone. She managed to move around with crutches. Doctors recommended an operation but she rejected the idea and preferred to come to The SCOAN where she believed strongly that she would get total healing. Coming all the way from Cameroon with crutches, she arrived at The SCOAN and was placed at the Prayer Line where the man of God laid hands on her. As soon as the man of God touched her, she dropped her crutches and walked on her feet. According to her, something left her body.

Mrs Atam also thanked God for giving her a very good eye sight at 69. She testified that her continued ministration of the Morning Water on her eyes made them very sharp and sound. She reads without using glasses. Ministration of the Morning Water also enabled her to get a one year American visa after several previous failed attempts. The same Morning Water helped to restore and redeem the lives of her children abroad. Filled with joy and a thankful heart, Mrs Atam urged Nigerians to cherish the gifts God has given them in the person of Prophet T.B. Joshua and The SCOAN.

ABSOLUTE HEALING GARNISHED WITH DELIVERANCE AND BREAKTHROUGH

Diagnosed with an internal hernia that triggered other discomforting experiences, Mr Rhyan Monteiro from South Africa, searched for lasting medical solution but found none. As he battled with all the discomfort that came with the internal hernia, his case became akin to jumping from frying pan to fire. Doctors discovered he also suffered from an incurable ear disease. With all options exhausted, he reckoned that his problem would be solved only by God and thus decided to visit The SCOAN where the man of God laid hands on him and restored his health to its normal state. According to him, since that encounter with the man of God, everything that troubled his life has disappeared.

Mr Monteiro further testified to the deliverance and glory that overtook his life after that encounter with Prophet T.B. Joshua. He was delivered from the spirit of lust, graduated from school as one of the best students and was blessed financially with a multi-million rand contract. He confessed that prior to visiting The SCOAN, his life was a statement of sorrow punctuated by sickness, hardship and lack. Today, he rejoices in the glory of restoration and redemption. He advised people to keep faith in God as He alone is capable of doing great things that no one else can do for them.

LIFTED ABOVE SIN AND SORROW

Mr Bobby Yawson’s problems started when as a young boy, his mother took him to consult a witch doctor that ended up falling in love with him. After that fetish association, he would always find the witch doctor in his dream, making love with him. His life became contaminated as he found himself behaving completely out of sync with himself. He would do things he never wanted to do and eventually became a habitat for disappointments and all sorts of negative experiences. Matters came to a head when he testified against himself in a court case and landed in prison.

Right inside the prison, he would stay back to watch Emmanuel TV while other inmates go to play football. It was while praying along with the man of God via Emmanuel TV that his redemption came. After stretching his hand to the screen to pray along with the man of God, an order came from the court requesting his immediate release, having realised that he testified against himself ignorantly. After his release, he searched for The SCOAN in Ghana and met a member who encouraged him to visit Nigeria. To do this, he had to sell some of his properties to finance his trip to Nigeria but by his reckoning, it was well worth it.

When he arrived at The SCOAN, he received the Morning Water and returned to his native Ghana, ministering it in prayer. Almost immediately, his life began to change. Businesses started coming in while finances improved. He went on business trips to China and received favour from a kind-hearted stranger who accommodated him without demanding for a dime. Today, he owns a joint venture company dealing in Solar Energy in which he enjoys a higher 60 percent stake. He is also the owner of a fleet of exotic cars and is currently building an estate. He advised people who are experiencing what he went through to wait for God’s time for their own breakthrough.

BROKEN BONE MADE WHOLE AGAIN 

A professional footballer, Mr Trabi Jean-Maurice’s career was characterised by setback at the point of breakthrough; whenever he was about to take a step forward in his career, something terrible would happen and threaten his career. While undergoing trials in a big football club that wanted to sign him, he broke his ankle and had to be dressed in POP for days. After the POP was removed, his ankle became swollen and put an end to his dream of playing football at the highest level.

As he battled with the pain and discomfort, a family member introduced him to The SCOAN and advised him to come to Nigeria. He arrived in Nigeria and was accompanied to The SCOAN by his uncle. At The SCOAN, he received the Morning Water which his uncle ministered on his broken ankle. When he woke up in the morning, the broken and swollen ankle was healed completely. He was overtaken by joy as he ran around the house in awe of the miracle. Testifying before The SCOAN congregation, juggling a football, he observed that God is the answer to all troubles.

WALKING DEAD RETURNED TO LIFE

The entire congregation of The SCOAN rose to their feet as a man dressed in a white native uniform and his sister took the stage. Mr Jude Oraka had suffered from a chronic skin disease for six horrible years. The disease had so warped and twisted the skin that it began to shatter, flake, peel and fall to the floor all over his body. The plague started from his back, crept onto his stomach and chest, moved down his legs then invaded his head, eyes and ears. They visited so many hospitals and herbal homes but the problem became a curse with no solution. People would start running from them, asking if he was a ghost or a human being. Fighting back the tears, his sister said she did not know that Jesus Christ was still alive and could bring her brother back to life until they set foot in the arena of liberty at The SCOAN. July 5th they came to The SCOAN with a problem beyond human understanding but not beyond God’s understanding.

Prior to their visit, the family had gathered to try and find a solution. Nobody had any until Jude’s sister voiced out that there was only one place where this problem could be overcome – The SCOAN of Prophet T.B. Joshua.

All his brothers had given up hope saying that their brother was already a walking corpse. They said he would die on the way to Lagos, but his sister said that they had to take the step of faith. “Because of the terrible condition, you could not touch him or support him because the skin would peel off his body and gum to you” his sister said.

To bring him to Lagos from their village was a long distance. They clothed every part of his body so that no one could see what was wrong and they paid a driver a lot of money to take them from Anambra to Lagos. His skin kept peeling all over the vehicles. Another driver accepted to charge them double to take them to Ikotun, near The SCOAN. There were a lot of hoteliers who usually came to get customers at the major bus stops but when they saw him, he was not the kind of customer they were looking for; they all ran away. They ended up standing by the road in an unfamiliar place for over an hour until a certain woman finally agreed to house them for double payment once again. Arriving during the week, before they went to The SCOAN, they first went to a hospital for treatment before the Sunday service. As they approached the reception, panic ensued and all the patients in that ward ran away. The doctors said they would only treat him outside the hospital. Sometimes, they would even use a broom to scratch the peeling skin off him to try and give him a little relief. Then, the glorious day came when they attended the Prayer Line service at The SCOAN. Prophet T.B. Joshua prayed for him in the name of Jesus Christ and that was it. Prophesying that the cause of the fearsome affliction was poison he had taken, the man of God commanded the poison out of his life after which pronouncement, Mr Jude instantly began vomiting out slimy looking substances. In no time at all, everything was completely restored.

He said that during his affliction, his body felt hot like a radiator all day long and his skin was always itching and throbbing severely which caused a deadening irritation felt to the core. He needed an assistant to do everything, even to go to the toilet and it was his ‘lovely sister’ who did everything for him and stood by him when others were too afraid to. When people would see him walking, they would start running in terror that they might also be cursed with his affliction.

Since his encounter with the man of God, he began to recover until this day in which he presented himself live in the church to testify to the goodness of God. He feels no pain anymore. When he came to the church for prayer, he could not even bend down but now, he can do everything a normal healthy human being can do. He advised everybody never to give up, no matter how dire their condition was and to trust in the goodness of God.

The SCOAN Sunday service of October 11, 2015 was packed with incisive messages that came from different quarters. From the Emmanuel Singers came songs of praise and worship that reminded congregants of the need to draw nearer to God in an era when the distractions of this world are so prevalent.

Consequently, Evangelist Annette, in her message titled FLIRTING WITH OTHER GODS summed up the vanity of chasing and mingling with entities which seem to take the place of God in our lives. It could be money, fame, beauty, education or even pride. Her deep message captured the universality of God’s supremacy over all His creation and His propensity to get jealous of our infidelity in His marriage with us. She stated, “As Christians, the Bible warns us against flirting with other gods because as the children of Israel demonstrated in the Old Testament, flirting leads not only to immorality and unfaithfulness but also causes jealousy on the part of our God and the Book of Exodus 20:5 tells us that our God is a jealous God. In marital relationships, husbands and wives have a key responsibility to remain faithful to each other; likewise as Christians, we have a key responsibility to remain faithful to God”.

RAISED FROM THE VALLEY OF LACK TO THE HEIGHTS OF ABUNDANCE

In a desperate bid to seek greener pastures, Mr Chinonso Igweze swore he would get an American visa at all costs. His desperation fuelled his vaulting ambition to the extent that a family member took him to a spiritualist in an obscure bush located around Badagry area of Lagos, Nigeria. After collecting his personal details, the spiritualist requested for his mother’s clothing. But scared of the consequences of his actions, he went home without returning. After some time, he began to see the spiritualist in his dreams. On certain occasions, the spirit would appear physically in the form of a human skeleton, opening the door to his room and scaring the life out of him.

As these strange realities unfolded around him, things became pretty precarious. His life nosedived from hope to hopelessness. He found himself caught up in a web of struggles. Feeding his family and paying his bills became cumbersome. In his search for solution, he also read a spiritual literature that had a great influence on his psyche. It was at the point when life became unbearable that he ran down to The SCOAN. Seated in the auditorium during a Sunday service, he was spotted by the man of God who reeled out prophetic insights about all his past activities, including the visit to the spiritualist as well as the reading of the spiritual book.

Having affirmed the prophecies of the man of God about his life, he received his deliverance. After his deliverance, he returned to South Africa. In a matter of months, his life took a promising turn. The clouds of hopelessness that dimmed his glory gave way to a brighter and newer beginning. He soon acquired a truck which he put on the road for haulage business.  In no time, he was able to acquire two buildings from the proceeds of his new venture. In his own words, “…after my deliverance at The SCOAN, my life changed positively and moved from lack to abundance”. He advised people all over the world to hold onto God and seek Him for deliverance.

SWOLLEN PROSTRATE DEFLATED BY THE ANOINTING

Chief Ojong Roland, a traditional ruler from Cameroun suffered very severe pains in his genitals. He found it difficult passing out urine. Whenever he was travelling from one state to the other within his country, he would draw the ire of other passengers anytime he alighted from the vehicle to ease himself because of the time it would take him to urinate. His condition was so bad that sometimes he would just abandon one vehicle only to board another in order to avoid offending other passengers. All medical examinations conducted on him showed no result even when they were narrowed down to sexually transmitted diseases. Eventually, doctors confirmed he had a swollen prostrate.

Sleep became alien to him as he would stay awake all night battling with his bladder which struggled to pass out urine in batches. While his ordeal with the strange ailment lasted, one of his advisers in the palace introduced him to Emmanuel TV and encouraged him to try the power of God at The SCOAN. In 2013, he visited the Arena of Liberty where he received the Morning Water and returned to his country. On getting back to Cameroun, the pains reared their ugly heads once again. But convinced that the Morning Water is filled with the healing power of God, he ministered it to his lower abdomen, declaring that his situation would not escape the anointing of God. Within seconds, he felt the forceful urge to urinate and decided to do so into a bowl. As he emptied his bladder, a maggot dropped out!

Since that moment, he was delivered from the pains and the inability to urinate freely. When he returned for another medical examination after ministering the Morning Water, he was certified free from the swollen prostrate that almost rendered him incomplete. Thanking God for his deliverance, he urged people to turn to God, irrespective of their social status as only Him can heal and deliver them.

SPIRIT OF SMOKING ANNIHILATED

Mr Jonas Chukwuma, a Nigerian living in London, started smoking cigarette since 1990 and continued the dirty habit until four years ago when he had an encounter with the power of God via Emmanuel TV. Then, he would wake up from sleep every morning with a stick of cigarette in his hand. He could not empty his bowels without lighting ‘the stick of destruction’. Sometimes, he smoked a packet or more in a day, depending on his mood. His finances suffered from the habit as he found it difficult to save money. He knew he had a problem and decided to seek solution.

A friend introduced him to Emmanuel TV and urged him to seek God’s intervention into his case through the channel. He eventually found the channel on the internet where he prayed along with Prophet T.B. Joshua right from his home in London. After the prayer, he felt uneasy all over his body and rushed to the bathroom to take a shower only to resume smoking after he had felt some calmness. As he smoked away, a voice declared, “…you are set free from the spirit of smoking from henceforth”.

From that moment till today, he has not returned to cigarette smoking. His business and financial fortunes have improved commendably. Thanking God for setting him free from a habit that held him hostage for many years, he encouraged people all over the world, to believe in God’s power.

TRIPLE PROMOTION INSPIRED BY THE ANOINTING

Mr Dennis Ogegere from Delta State, Nigeria, had applied for the position of a Fireman in the Delta State Civil Service but was erroneously offered the position of a driver. Accepting the offer physically, he decided to fight for his rightful position spiritually by coming down to The SCOAN to receive the Morning Water. The following year, he was informed of a promotion exam. As he prepared to go for the exam, he was told not to bother as his name was no longer included in the list of eligible candidates. But convinced that the God of T.B. Joshua would see him through, he ministered the Morning Water on his appointment letter.

Afterwards, he attended the interview much to the surprise of his friends who wondered how his name even came up when he never sat for the exam. After the interview, he was sent a corrective letter confirming his employment as Fireman instead of driver. After one year, his promotion was granted as he was elevated to the position of Leading Fireman. The following year, he also received promotion as Senior Fireman

He was subsequently promoted to Chief Fire Superintendent. Displaying his triple promotion letters to the admiration of The SCOAN congregation, he thanked God for lifting him up from oblivion to glory while urging people not to lose hope or get discouraged whenever they are facing challenges in life.

During The SCOAN Sunday service of October 18, 2015, the choir created the enabling environment for the Word to flourish in the minds of the congregants who danced their hearts out in praise and worship of the Most High God. Not minding the harsh economic and political situations around the world, every congregant exuded incomparable confidence in God’s ability to put smiles on their faces because “Jesus conquered the world and gave us victory. Victory, victory, Hallelujah”.

In her message titled FAITH CONFESSION, Evangelist Kemi admonished Christians to cling more unto the power of God to do all things through faith irrespective of the discouraging realities around the world. Speaking further, she said that by faith we please God and live in line with His will for us, “People of God, when we know that the Word is God speaking to us now, it is not difficult for us to act upon it now… God has given us the measure of faith, the Spirit of faith and the Word of faith we would require to live for Him here and now.” In other words, there is nothing a Christian will ask of God or decree with his mouth believing that it is done, that will not be done for him by Heaven. As custodians of God’s Word, Christians have been redeemed to receive their heart’s desires through faith in Christ Jesus.

 TESTIMONIES

UNCHAINED FROM POVERTY, LUST AND DEPRESSION

Mr Zwindofhela Ratshikombo’s problem was hydra-headed. The young South African
  was labouring with the yoke of poverty and business failure. The twin morale destroyers were also accompanied by the spirit of lust, womanising and depression. In his desperate search for solution, he was told to go to the graveyard to worship the dead in order to break the yoke that was making his life miserable. But instead of making progress, his graveyard escapades resulted in worse conditions. It took the intervention of his mother for him to fully realise the vanity of his human thinking. A friend who was concerned about his life introduced him to Emmanuel TV through which he developed much passion for the marvellous works of God. Inspired to partake of the glory of God present at The SCOAN, he made up his mind to come to Nigeria. But the challenge was that he had no money to fund the journey. God in His infinite mercies, provided the travel fund through a good Samaritan.

When he got to The SCOAN, he was placed at the Prayer Line where the man of God laid hands on him and also gave him the Morning Water. As soon as he returned to South Africa and continued to minister the Morning Water, things took a glorious dimension in his life. His restaurant business thrived exceedingly even as the spirit of lust and womanising disappeared. He presently employs labour and has highly motivated staff. He owns an exotic car and plans to add a new one soon. Thanking God for his deliverance, he advised people, especially the youth to wait for God’s time.

OVERTAKEN BY FAVOUR AND PROMOTION

Mrs Elizabeth Hawa Ellie came  all the way from Sierra Leone with the problem of limitation in progress and career stagnation. But today, it is a different story as she has been elevated to the position of a Permanent Secretary in the office of the Sierra Leonean President through God’s intervention. Prior to her promotion to this enviable position, she was stagnant in one position for a long time. For five years, she was Acting Deputy Secretary but as soon as she visited The SCOAN and received the Morning Water, she was promoted to Deputy Secretary and a short time after, she attained the position of Permanent Secretary. Her daughter also received her USA visa and green card breakthrough after she prayed along with Prophet T.B. Joshua on Emmanuel TV and ministered the Morning Water. Testifying with gratitude to God’s wondrous ways, she advised people to have faith in God.

HEALING BEYOND MEDICAL COMPREHENSION

 Mrs Dawn Payne from the USA had a history of delivering premature babies. When she was pregnant with little Elolo, doctors had discovered that the unborn baby’s urine was refluxing to his kidneys. Having been born through a Caesarean Section, it was unthinkable that the new born would undergo three surgeries within a month to correct the problem caused by the refluxing urine. After the surgeries, there was rarely any improvement. She was perturbed to see her son with a catheter in his bladder.

The family made arrangements for the baby to be flown to Southampton in the UK for further care and examination. The doctors in the UK discovered that one of his kidneys had been damaged by the constant reflux of urine. The next option left to the doctors in the UK was to do another major surgery to enhance the free flow of urine, which she refused because of the complications that might arise despite all the threats from doctors who reckoned that she did not have the interest of her son at heart. The lad grew with this problem into primary school and was in and out of school due to infections emanating from his health condition. Having exhausted the different options to correct his condition, Mrs Payne resigned to prayer as it was clear that only God could heal her son.

In the midst of all the anguish and sleepless nights that came with her son’s travails, Mrs Payne continued to speak to her son about the Word of God and encouraged him to have an optimistic outlook on life, even though he went about with a catheter bag which seemed to mock the essence of his humanity.

One day, she discovered Prophet T.B. Joshua on YouTube and later attended a revival arranged by The SCOAN in the UK. She obtained the Morning Water which she ministered in Jesus’ name. While the man of God from The SCOAN service in Lagos, prayed for the congregation live during the revival, her son who was miles away from where she was received his healing. By the time she got home, she discovered he had removed his diapers, saying he did not need them anymore. For the first time in eight years, young Elolo told his mother that he wanted to urinate. After also doing the Water Therapy as introduced by Prophet T.B. Joshua, miraculously, he was able to pass a large volume of urine freely without the use of the catheter. On visiting the hospital, doctors discovered that the refluxing urine was no more and his kidneys and bladder had started to function normally. He now does the things he could not do before – he runs around, plays football and rugby and urinates as normal people do. She urged everyone to continue to believe in God even in the face of obstacles.

A GLORIOUS END TO BARRENESS

 Mr Abraham Saint, a gold miner, came all the way from Ghana with the problem of barrenness. He was diagnosed with low sperm count and hepatitis B while his wife was also diagnosed with sickle cell anaemia. For four years, they were not able to have a child. Mr Saint visited The SCOAN where he received life-changing prayer from Prophet T.B. Joshua, in Jesus’ name. After returning to Ghana, the couple met as husband and wife. She conceived and eventually gave birth to a baby boy christened Joshua. Mr Saint also got business connections that opened travelling doors for him. He is currently on the verge of travelling to China and Thailand to meet with investors. These blessings came on the heels of a dream he had in which he saw the man of God giving him the Morning Water and prophesying to him that investors would look for him for business. To God be the glory!

SET MY PEOPLE FREE! 

Leading the charge against the kingdom of darkness, evangelists instructed by Prophet T.B. Joshua, took authority in the name of Jesus Christ to pull down strongholds, set captives free and declare deliverance to the afflicted during a Mass Prayer that was intense in every sense of the word. Many unclean spirits were shown the exit door even as age-long yokes were broken with the demonstration and manifestation of God’s power.

EVANGELIST MORENIKE

The SCOAN Sunday service of October 25, 2015 witnessed an outpouring of the Spirit of God in many significant ways. From the soul-lifting songs of the choir to the awe-inspiring testimonies of people who have experienced the power of God in the Arena of Liberty, it was obvious that with God, all things are possible. In her message titled YOUR TRUE PICTURE, evangelist Morenike reminded Christians on the need to look beyond present circumstances and focus more on the bigger picture of their future in God’s hand. According to her, every pain or sickness to the true believer could be his or her path to greatness in God’s divine purpose. She cited the story of Joseph and how, in spite of the pains he went through, still fulfilled God’s plan for his life. The following words from her message would guide us in our Christian walk to realise that a little discomfort is part of the race: “Everybody desires comfort whereas pain sometimes preserves us for a new level in life. MARRIED TO SATAN, DELIVERED BY JESUS

Right from her mother’s womb, Miss Cynthia Amarachi’s destiny was tampered with by the forces of darkness. They had seen that she would do exploits in God’s work and therefore decided to change that which God had destined for her life. Born into the world as a singleton, Cynthia had two accompanying sisters that could not be seen with the physical eyes. They were her spiritual siblings sent to her by the agents of darkness to help her in her diabolical mission.

As early as age eight, she had perfected her evil strategies for the initiation of innocent children who she eventually destroyed through accident or outright death. She would receive spiritual supply of gift items including biscuits and sweets from the kingdom of darkness and would dole them out to unsuspecting kids who eventually become spiritually contaminated and initiated after eating them. She had many diabolical gadgets, especially a bead that was in actual sense a python, usually worn around her waist.  She used it as a resistance weapon whenever she wanted to wreak havoc or seduce men, especially weak pastors.

By the time she was in secondary school, she had become a thorn in the flesh of many. She would transform herself into any animal of her choice in order to successfully attack and destroy her targets. She usually preferred turning into a cat because of the nocturnal animal’s stealthy mentality. She would seduce professing men of God, lure them to hotels and destroy their souls. This continued up till her university days when she joined a fraternity and became an asset of destruction. She had killed many pastors who could not control their sexual urges.

Due to the level of spiritual wickedness she had wrought with her hands, she became lucifer’s wife and was called the ‘she devil’. On one occasion, when she had transformed herself into a cat, she got her hip shattered after she had ignorantly attacked a pastor whom she thought was spiritually asleep. Unknown to her, the pastor was meditating when she appeared to him with the intention to attack him. But the anointing in the man of God drew his attention to her evil presence and he dealt her some deadly blows that left her limping for a long time.

Miss Cynthia Amarachi eventually fell to God’s power at The SCOAN after she had separate encounters with Evangelist Fanny and the man of God, Prophet T.B. Joshua. Ministering the Morning Water to her, Evangelist Fanny commanded the demons controlling her to bow in the name of Jesus. In spite of the stubborn resistance she put up, she was finally brought to her knees and delivered. She was also at the Mercy Land where the man of God ensured that the evil bead was cut off her waist.

Testifying after her deliverance, Miss Amarachi made a couple of startling revelations, especially concerning the collapsed building belonging to The SCOAN. She confessed that the unfortunate incident of September 12, 2014 was the handiwork of her former kingdom aimed at frustrating the man of God so that he would get angry and question God. She also observed that the man of God, Prophet T.B. Joshua gave their kingdom so much trouble even as they found nothing to hold against him, hence their decision to attack his church building. Thanking God for redeeming her from a past life in service of the devil, she urged parents to watch their children closely and to understand that the Christian battle is not physical but against the unseen powers of darkness.

FAVOURED BEYOND EXPECTATION

Before she visited The SCOAN in 2012, Mrs Mazu Mazibuko from South Africa, suffered from business failure to the extent that she harboured suicidal thoughts. Life was very harsh on her; nothing seemed to work out. After she received her deliverance at The SCOAN, things soon took a prosperous turn. Her business picked up almost immediately after she found herself in a dream in which the man of God was putting some money into her wallet and assuring her of deliverance. After that experience, her business came back strongly. She even acquired a couple of cars.

By 2014, she had opened a new shop in Durban. In early 2015, she got another opportunity to work for an international travel agency and broke a record being the first person to be made a director within the space of one month of employment. She has been invited in company of her husband to Dallas, Texas in the US by the company to come and spend some time with its founders. Thanking God for expanding their business, Mr Mazibuko attributed their favour to prayers while acknowledging that they have been blessed financially. He advised people with the following words, “…don’t be discouraged whenever you face challenges. Hold unto God because what He says about you is what matters”.

BRISTOW HELICOPTER CRASH SURVIVORS TESTIFY

An ardent worshipper with The SCOAN, Mr Chukwudi Onah, a worker with a Nigerian offshore oil company always had his Morning Sticker and Morning Water with him wherever he went. That fateful Morning when he was about to board the helicopter, he had the anointed materials in his pocket. He had even ministered the Morning Water as he always did every morning. The delay in the arrival of the aircraft might have been a premonition to the coming tragedy but he never took it to mind. However, when he eventually realised on board that the helicopter conveying him and eleven others to Lagos was nose-diving into the sea, a few metres away from the airport, he called on the God of T.B. Joshua to come to his rescue.

Trapped in the deep with the seat belt of the wrecked aircraft still around his waist and struggling to set himself free, God ministered two powerful words to him. First he heard, “Your seat belt” and thereafter, “Life jacket”. After loosening the seat belt and putting on the life jacket, he was lifted ashore and could behold the skies. From there, he found a life raft in which he took refuge in company of a colleague before fishermen paddled them to the land. The two persons who sat on either side of him in the helicopter lost their lives.

It would be recalled that the Nigerian and international media were awash with the famous helicopter crash that claimed four lives months ago. Thanking God in company of his family and a colleague with whom he boarded the ill-fated helicopter, Mr Onah advised people to realise that with God, all things are possible. He also thanked God for giving him the grace to witness God’s power at work through the great miracles that take place at The SCOAN.

RESCUED FROM THE RAVAGES OF ALCOHOL AND POVERTY

Mrs Phamella Quku and her husband were birds of the same feather. They were both hooked on alcohol and suffered from severe poverty. They would even borrow money to satisfy their alcoholic appetites. They soon became famous for their unwholesome lifestyle. People declined offering them credit because of their debt profile. Their living conditions were abysmally poor. Instead of a clear cut apartment, they managed to sleep in a makeshift abode. Sometimes, Mr Quku would drink himself into a stupor and pass the night in the bush. This problem persisted for fourteen years. All attempts to find a solution yielded no result; not even the charms of herbalists. But Mrs Quku knew she had been initiated in drunkenness through traditional ceremonies observed in her family right from childhood.

After watching Emmanuel TV and witnessing the level of God’s power, they made up their minds to continue worshipping with the ministry. By January 2014, Mr Quku visited The SCOAN and received his deliverance. He was also fortunate to receive the Morning Water with which he prayed along with his wife once in South Africa. In a short while, change came. Firstly, their accumulated debt was cleared. Mr Quku’s salary was increased and the couple commenced and completed the construction of their own house within two months. Mrs Quku urged people to desist from fetish traditional ceremonies as they create more setbacks than progress.

SAVED FROM INSECURITY AND BLESSED FINANCIALLY

Dr Emmanuel Kolo, a Kano-based medical doctor was faced with a precarious financial situation occasioned by the insecurity that pervaded the community in which he lived. By that time, only the wealthy who could afford to live in government reservation areas, enjoyed some level of safety and social security. Disturbed and distraught by his financial situation, Dr Kolo tried to relocate but was handicapped by lack of money. While grappling with the situation he had found himself in, he found a building to let but was taken aback by the exorbitant rent. The owner of the building had put the rent at 1.2 million naira per annum. Dr Kolo did not have that kind of money and only wished he could get a better deal.

A friend who had visited The SCOAN brought the Morning Water to him and inspired him into praying along with the man of God through Emmanuel TV. After ministering the Morning Water, praying and pasting his prayer requests on Emmanuel TV screen, the landlord who put his rent at 1.2 million naira, came back asking Dr Kolo to pay five hundred thousand naira. As soon as he paid for and relocated to his new house, things took a new turn. Within months of continuous ministration of the Morning Water and pasting of their prayer requests on the Emmanuel TV screen, Dr Kolo and his wife purchased a plot of land and started the construction of their own house.

In spite of the huge amount of money required for the construction of the building, Dr Kolo was able to carry on with the building through favours from people who supplied him building materials on credit and asking him to pay whenever he could. Even the building engineer who had initially looked down on him could not believe that the building would go at a very fast pace. Within twenty four months, Dr Kolo had roofed his house and is currently living there with his family. They enjoy a twenty four hour solar-backed electricity supply as well as a water-supplying borehole. In addition to the building, Dr Kolo has also acquired two other plots of land to be developed in the near future. Praising God for the transformation he has witnessed in his life, he advised people to dig deep and fight through when things are difficult.

FAVOURED WITH DIVINE PROMOTION

Ms Lydia Twala, a South African nurse, remained on the same spot for six years without promotion or any form of elevation. She did not like the way things were happening to her career. All attempts to free herself from that yoke of stagnation remained futile. Even when she had an opportunity to attend an interview for a new role, the questions that were thrown at her by the panel forced her to go back home and cry out to God for help. She knew pretty well that it was only God who could help her out of the bottomless abyss her career had plunged into.

While watching Emmanuel TV one day, she was inspired by Prophet T.B. Joshua’s directive on extending love and care to the relations of the martyrs of faith and decided to embark on a weekly visit to such families. Not quite long after she had started visiting the relations of the martyrs of faith, another job opening came up from her head office. This time, the position advertised was higher than the previous one. Ministering the Morning Water, she prepared and went for the interview. At the interview venue, most of the people she met were more qualified than her. But somehow, she was only asked simple questions and told to describe herself.

After the interview, she continued to thank God. After a short while, she received a phone call informing her of her promotion from a nurse to an Operational Manager for HIV/AIDS Programme for the Johannesburg region. Her remuneration is now doubled with other fringe benefits such as car allowance. Appreciating God before The SCOAN congregation, she urged people to always remember that they are blessed in order to bless others.

HEALED, PROMOTED AND PROTECTED

Mrs Ndidiamaka Oguamalan is a Chief Superintendent with the Nigerian police. For twenty years, she suffered from a leg ailment that had left her incapacitated and unable to walk freely. While she suffered from the ailment, she was taken to many herbal homes in search of a remedy but only ended up wasting her money as all the concoctions given to her could not bring about any relief. One day while having her hair done in a salon and watching Emmanuel TV, she had come across the kind gesture of Prophet T.B. Joshua towards a police officer who was shot by armed robbers. Moved by the level of love shown to the police officer, she reckoned she would have to visit The SCOAN.

As soon as she visited The SCOAN and received the Morning Water, she went back to Anambra and continued to minister it on her ailing legs. Within a short while, the ailing legs returned to their normal state and no longer posed a problem to her. Today, she can walk freely and does the things she could not do in the past. Thanking God for His unending mercies, CSP Oguamalam also praised God for rescuing her from imminent stagnation through the medium of the Morning Water.

A career threatening query that had put her promotion on hold was withdrawn after she had ministered the Morning Water, just before facing a panel that was set up to look into her matter. As soon as she stepped into the boardroom, she was asked to take a bow and go. She was subsequently sent a letter of exoneration, showing that she was innocent of every allegation levelled against her. CSP Oguamalam also revealed how she had encountered Prophet T.B. Joshua in her dream. According to her, since that experience, she has become totally free from all the nightmares, eating and sex in the dream that had ravaged her life. She advised people to receive and use the Morning Water in faith.

SPIRIT OF DEAFNESS SILENCED AMIDST OF CAREER BREAKTHROUGH

Professor Mrs Goski Alabi and her husband had come to The SCOAN to thank God for granting them the rare privilege of getting their Open University approved in Ghana when the Almighty God surprised the couple by healing the wife of deafness in the right ear. For over forty years, she had to live with that problem. Oftentimes, during serious meetings where people had to whisper into her ears, she would always nod in the affirmative to pretend that he had heard them when in actual fact, she never heard anything they had said. All efforts to get medical attention were abortive. The amount of money and time invested in trying to get her to hear with the right ear are unquantifiable. But her healing was remarkable in the sense that it took place without anyone touching her or praying for her. She reckoned that her healing is a proof that God is everywhere in the
Arena of Liberty – The SCOAN.

Aside the healing Professor Mrs Alabi experienced inside The SCOAN, their university project was blessed by the Lord to thrive exceedingly as the first of its kind in Ghana, after several attempts by both government and private efforts to establish an Open University in the country. Professor Mrs Alabi had, unknown to her husband, placed the university’s certificate of registration in her bag as they visited The SCOAN the last time. On arriving at The SCOAN, she had presented the document to the man of God who assured them not to worry. By the time she was writing the concept for the university, she ministered the Morning Water on both the certificate of registration and the concept itself. As soon as she submitted the documents, favours started locating them from different angles. Beginning with the certificate of authorisation and institutional accreditation from the government, their university attracted interests from international investors and collaborators like Franklin University, Columbus, Ohio who have been of immense benefit to the institution. Aside the collaborations, the university has also received donations of learning facilities from foreign interests. Husband and wife, filled with joy and the awe of God’s goodness in their lives, advised people to cherish the gifts God has given to this generation through the person of Prophet T.B. Joshua and the Morning Water.

EMMANUEL!

The SCOAN Sunday service of November 1, 2015 reflected the generality of human experience across the world. The congregants sang and danced along with the church choir, irrespective of the harsh realities in the outside world. They seemed to suggest that once they are inside the Arena of Liberty, all their problems and challenges are gone forever. Evangelist Anne’s message titled THE PRESENTATION OF EVIL also captured the prevailing circumstances around the world. It echoed the deceptive realities that the devil has continued to use to pull many souls to his side. The façades called wealth and fame are good but, according to Evangelist Anne, a good Christian must not put them first before God. She summed up her admonition to Christians to be wary of satan and his chameleonic antics lest they begin to see the presentation of evil in good light: “If you are focused only on making money or acquiring possessions, a large slice of life will pass you by because a focus on materialism diverts our devotion from God Almighty to the god of wealth; distracts our mind and hinders our interest in the service of God. Though possessions are a useful support, we should not put our trust in them rather, they should be in reverence to God. Those with the most positive impact on society are not so much concerned with fame or fortune”.

LIFTED FROM ZERO TO HERO

Mr Moses Masenya had three different certificates, including two distinctions in Chemical Engineering and Production Management and yet could not lay his hands on a job. Even when he once had an opportunity to attend a job interview, he was told that he was over-qualified and therefore, could not be employed. At a time, he tried to conceal his qualifications in order to get a job but nothing was forthcoming. He became more and more confused and depressed as most of his mates were already working with big companies and cruising in flashy cars. Many people mocked him and rubbished all his educational qualifications. Even when he eventually got a job, it was one to ensure that he did not die of hunger as he lived from hand to mouth with very tight and insufficient finances.

As he faced the grim reality of hardship and stagnation, friends and family deserted him. He even became scared of associating with people because of his poverty. His visits to different prophets and prayer mountains did not yield any results. All encouragement by well-wishers seemed not to have any positive effect on him as he continued in his romance with hard times. His constant depression was not going down well with his wife who always encouraged him to socialise with friends in order to dispel the tension that had been causing the depression. It was on one of such socialisation visits to a family friend that he encountered Emmanuel TV. The teeming testimonies of people who had experienced the benevolent hands of God at The SCOAN encouraged him to believe that his case would not be an exception. He could not resist the alluring prospects of visiting The SCOAN.

When he finally arrived at The SCOAN, he received yoke-breaking prayers from Prophet T.B. Joshua and also got the Morning Water with which he returned to his country. Dedicated to his prayers and the ministration of the Morning Water, he continued to call on God to change the story of his life which had been at point zero. In a matter of months, his life was transformed in a manner that defied human reasoning. What he could not achieve in twenty years, came to him on God’s platter of gold, within one year. Today, he is the proud owner of an agro-allied business factory in Johannesburg with many staff under his employment. He also owns a fleet of exotic cars and has become benefactor to many including the less privileged in society. Thanking God for lifting him from zero to hero, he urged people all over the world to realise that life is full of tests that are meant to be passed before breakthroughs come.

BARRENNESS LAID TO REST

For four years, Mrs Ijeoma Odiaka and her husband could not hear the cry of a child in their home. They had been declared barren due to certain infections. For Mrs Odiaka, it was candidiasis and hormonal imbalance while Mr Odiaka had low sperm count. Their inability to bear children was a pill too bitter to swallow as they faced the social embarrassment that follows such conditions. Last year, the couple visited The SCOAN and received prayer from Prophet T.B. Joshua. They also received the Morning Water. They continued to minister the Morning Water amid prayers while hoping expectantly for a miracle. Within one month, Mrs Odiaka was confirmed pregnant by her doctors.

Mr Odiaka confirmed that Prophet T.B. Joshua appeared in his dreams on several occasions and ensured that no complications arose from the pregnancy. According to him, the man of God always appeared in those dreams to adjust the baby whenever it was not positioned properly. After nine months, Mr and Mrs Odiaka welcomed their first baby christened Odiaka Happiness Chukwuemeka [‘God has done it’]. Testifying with joy radiating all over her face, Mrs Odiaka declared that the sorrow and tears they had experienced for those four years have been replaced by joy unspeakable in the mighty name of Jesus through the medium of the Morning Water and the Faith Bracelet. The couple reminded viewers all over the world that with God, all things are possible, while pledging to train the child in the way of the Lord.

DELIVERED FROM DEMONIC ENTANGLEMENT

Mr Moses Simone from Cameroon came from a poor background and was left to face the stark realities of a troubled world after he lost his parents in his childhood. Even though he was very brilliant in primary school, what he would later get from life was totally incongruous with his expectations. He took to the trade he had learnt in order to see himself through the uneasy journey of life. But he was soon to realise that not all that glitters is gold. As he would later discover, a woman he had taken as his own mother, unknowingly cast an evil spell on him and opened his soul to demonic possession with the spirit of a bush  pig and spiritual wife. She had picked an instrument and asked him to keep it in a basket inside his blacksmithing shop, only for him to discover that she had also placed a strange stone in the same place.

Moments after that episode, Mr Simone found himself covered with cobwebs. He would later dream that night of himself being chased menacingly by masquerades. Other evil dreams became a recurring decimal. He would either dream of climbing high mountains, having sex or sleeping in the midst of bush pigs. His life became terrible in reality. The spirit of womanising soon took over him. Even when he did not go for women, they came for him. His social life deteriorated and saw him father four children with four different women. The legion of demons that had taken over him soon ensured that he lost everything; he had lost hope and was only living like a kite tossed helter-skelter by the winds without the will power to take redemptive decisions.

During a Sunday service, while the evangelists were leading Mass Prayer, the anointing was so hot that Mr Simone could not stand the fire. He had tried to heed the advice of a voice which had told him to run away when the power of God located him. Like a bush pig sniffing through the gutters, Mr Simone manifested the demonic influence under which his life had been kept. The demons spoke through him in turns, explaining how they had ruined his life: “We are many…I met him at the shop side and destroyed him…his marriage has problems, problems everyday…” He was eventually delivered through the power in the name of Jesus Christ.

Testifying with an intermittent outbreak of uncontrollable tears, Mr Simone lamented the torment he suffered in the hands of those evil spirits and how they had almost destroyed himm if not for God’s intervention at The SCOAN. Radiating the inestimable joy of his new found freedom in Christ Jesus, he thanked God for his deliverance and redemption.

PROTECTED BY HIS MERCIES IN THE FACE OF DEATH

Mr Emitimi Akassa Stephen is not one that would step out of his house without praying and ministering the Morning Water on himself and his entire family. He also has the Morning Sticker on his vehicle’s windscreen at every point in time. While driving, in the company of five other passengers some days back, his brakes had failed on the highway and the devil was already celebrating the havoc that would befall them. In the face of that chaotic scenario, Mr Stephen summoned the courage to call on the God of Prophet T.B. Joshua to come to their rescue. As the vehicle sped on without a break, it somersaulted before crashing into another vehicle. But none of the passengers, including Mr Stephen, was hurt.

Testifying in company of his wife and expressing his gratitude to God for protecting them from danger, Mr Stephen observed that it was incredible the way God saved their lives, going by the magnitude of damage on both his vehicle and the one it crashed into. According to him, onlookers were shocked to discover that no one lost his life in an accident that looked so ghastly. He attributed the miracle to his constant ministration of the Morning Water and the use of the Morning Sticker on the windscreen of his vehicle. He urged everyone to believe in God and focus on Him as the only solution to their problems.

ALCOHOLISM GIVES WAY TO FAVOUR AND GRACE

Mr Loly Shalishali is a DR Congo national residing in Canada. For fourteen years, he was stuck in alcoholism to the extent that he would use all of his salary to drink and later resort to regret. His drinking was daily; from Monday to Sunday. It was a destructive routine that sapped not only his finances but his spiritual life. He was defenceless in the hands of the spirit of alcoholism and had no idea how to set himself free. Unhappy with the perilous turn his life was taking, he became sober and started nurturing the urge to get close to God. A friend would eventually introduce him to Emmanuel TV.

One day, after getting himself soaked in booze, he was at home watching Emmanuel TV and was moved by the prayers going on at that particular moment. The man of God said that distance was not a barrier and urged viewers all over the world to touch the screen of their TVs. As soon as he touched the screen of his TV, he found himself on the ground. After that experience, all efforts he made to drink did not go down well with him. Within weeks, the urge to drink had completely left him. As he continued to pray via Emmanuel TV, things he could not achieve in fourteen years came to him in a matter of months. His dream of travelling abroad came to fruition after the UN resettlement programme selected him to travel to Canada. His visa was granted without the usual hassles involved. By the time he arrived in Canada, he got an office job he never applied for through divine connection. His quest for another child also materialised after he ministered the Morning Water. His wife would subsequently deliver another baby boy to the glory of God. Mr Shalishali urged people all over the world, especially those struggling with any form of substance abuse, to seek God for their total freedom.

BARRENNESS BULDOZED BY ANOINTING POWER

Mr and Mrs Marcel Anarah are Nigerians residing in Germany. For many years, they had suffered from the problem of barrenness due to some medical conditions. While her husband had low sperm count, Mrs Anarah was diagnosed with fibroid. As they continued to search for solutions without results, they were introduced to Emmanuel TV. Upon watching the channel, their faith was rekindled with the level of yoke-breaking miracles that they observed on the channel. Having been convinced that God is truly at The SCOAN, they came down to Nigeria to visit the Arena of Liberty.

At The SCOAN, they were placed on the Prayer Line where they received prayers and were given the Morning Water. On their return to Germany, husband and wife continued to minister the Morning Water while calling on the God of Prophet T.B. Joshua to answer their prayer. In a matter of months, Mrs Anarah became pregnant and went on to deliver a baby girl safely to the glory of the Most High. Testifying in high spirits and gratitude to God, the couple advised people all over the world to run to God no matter the level of their problems.

FAMILY IDOL BANISHED FOR LIFE

Mr Abuh Adama is a retired Assistant Director with the State Security Service of Nigeria. The Kogi state indigene is currently a Security Consultant to many state governments. By every world standard, he is an accomplished security expert with thirty five years experience. But he had serious spiritual issues to contend with in his family. His businesses suffered collapse. His son, who used to be a passionate Christian evangelist in school, suddenly became a drug and alcohol addict after graduation. The other son had graduated from school for ten years without a job to show it. His daughter’s graduation was marred by allegations from the university that she had carry-over courses to cover. The issue dragged on endlessly. Troubled by his children’s cases, Mr Adama decided to visit The SCOAN in the company of his children.

Though the journey was almost truncated by the family idol which tried to discourage the father through his son’s careless utterances, Mr Adama ensured through prayer that he stepped into the Arena of Liberty. At The SCOAN, reprieve came the way of Mr Adama during the Morning Water ministration. As the Morning Water was being ministered in Jesus’ name, Mr Adama fell under the anointing and began to manifest the demon that had been tormenting his family. The demon identified itself as a family idol and confessed to be behind the family’s myriad problems. It confessed to be the one destroying the lives and careers of his children. The family idol also confessed to be the one behind his broken marriage and many sundry challenges facing the family. As the evangelist ministered the Morning Water on Mr Adama, the idol, which was apparently under bombardment from the fire of the Holy Ghost, succumbed and was cast out of Mr Adama.

After his deliverance, things have changed for Mr Adama and his children. The mighty hand of God has indeed wiped away the many tears of anguish he had wept in the past. His children’s jobs and careers have now been restored even as his own life has taken a promising turn for the best. Thanking God for redeeming his family from the wicked idol, Mr Adama urged people all over the world to put their trust in God.

HEALED BY FAITH, PROMOTED BY GRACE

Mrs Fatmata Kargbo is a civil servant from Sierra Leone. For over ten years, she had used glasses to read. One day while watching Emmanuel TV from her Freetown residence, she was impressed with the deliverance of a particular brother from Cameroon and decided to join the Mass Prayer from the comfort of her home by placing her hand on the screen of the TV. With a very strong faith, as soon as her hand touched the screen of the TV, she realised she could see well without glasses. Since that day in 2012, she has not used her glasses anymore.

Mrs Kargbo returned to The SCOAN for thanksgiving and received the Morning Water. By the time she went back to her country, she continued to minister the Morning Water and to use her Morning Sticker. She also fasted on several occasions. Then, came the notice of examination for civil servants who were eyeing promotion to the next level. Before she went for the exams, she ministered the Morning Water and placed the Morning Sticker in her answer sheets. After the exams, she came out with flying colours and was promoted to the position of Permanent Secretary in the Sierra-Leonean Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Thanking God for her healing and promotion, Mrs Kargbo also testified to the great works God did for her country through Prophet T.B. Joshua who sent a consignment of the Morning Water through a chartered jet to the Ebola-affected areas of Sierra Leone in August 2014. The man of God also made a cash donation of US$50,000. According to Mrs Kargbo, after the ministration of the Morning Water in the Ebola-affected regions, the disease disappeared finally from those regions to the glory of God.

EMMANUEL!

On Sunday November 8, 2015, congregants at The SCOAN witnessed God’s presence in an elaborate fashion. The multi-lingual deliveries of the Choir carried everybody along and ignited the passion for true praise and worship in the minds of all those present. The time of Mass Prayer witnessed the bombardment of the kingdom of darkness from many fronts. Unclean spirits which could not withstand the onslaught of the power of God succumbed to the anointing by manifesting through their victims before they were cast out in Jesus’ mighty name never to return.

In her short but explosive message titled THE WAY OF THE CROSS, Evangelist Evelyn Joshua highlighted the precocity of God’s grace in the lives of His creation, especially those who have been redeemed by the death of Christ on the Cross. The core essence of her message is captured in the following words: “But if the battle were for the strong or the race for the swift, there would have been no basis for the promise of hope – for people like you and I, without fast legs, smoothness of tongue or power to inspire. Many a good man, dedicated and hard working spend their days unnoticed and uncelebrated. What can you say? God knows we are weak that is why He chooses grace.” In a closing prayer, she commended all who received the message to depend upon the grace of God.

ASTHMA, ENLARGED HEART AND ALCOHOLISM UPROOTED FOREVER 

Right from childhood, suffered from bronchial asthma. She was allergic to smoke, dust and all perfume fragrances. As she grew up, her attempts to control the condition resulted in her romance with alcoholic concoctions through the advice of friends and family who reckoned that a mixture of ginger, garlic and brandy or gin would take care of her problem. But rather than yield the much desired result, she became a drunkard who developed serious dependence on alcoholic beverages just to get through the day. On several occasions, she would lie to her siblings and even steal from her husband in order to satiate her alcoholic appetite, especially on Fridays.

By the time she got married, she found a worthy partner in her husband who himself was prolific in consuming booze. It was a sorry story to see husband and wife hooked on a substance that had destroyed many lives and destinies. However, God intervened in their lives through a friend in Swaziland. They were introduced to Emmanuel TV by that friend and her husband was the first to be touched by God. While watching Emmanuel TV together, Mr Sakala touched the screen and suddenly began to shake and fell to the floor. His wife dismissed it as a result of drunkenness. After that moment of an encounter with Jesus Christ through Emmanuel TV till today, he has not taken alcohol. For Mrs Sakala, she was not so easily taken with the channel and continued asking money from her husband to continue her usual drinking habits. He obliged but each time told her that she would soon join him. Truly, a short time later, Mrs Sakala also gave up her drinking after a while of watching Emmanuel TV and praying with the man of God. She couldn’t even understand how it all happened but she was certain the miracle came through praying along with Prophet T.B. Joshua on Emmanuel TV.

Mrs Sakala also testified to her healing from bronchial asthma and an enlarged heart after she was prayed for by the man of God at the Prayer Line. After the prayer, she has not experienced any of those debilitating symptoms anymore. Even when she returned to her country of residence, she discovered she could do those things she could not do before. All subsequent medical reports showed that she now has a clean bill of health. Mrs Sakala, in the spirit of thanksgiving, advised people all over the world to remain steadfast in God.

KIDNEY STONES FLUSHED OUT BY HOLY GHOST POWER

Mr Henry Preye, a native of Bayelsa State residing in Port Harcourt, was diagnosed with kidney stones. For seven years, he suffered from severe and excruciating pain. In spite of all the medications he took, there was no solution in sight as the pains continued. A friend introduced him to Emmanuel TV and he afterwards became an ardent viewer of the channel. As he continued to watch Emmanuel TV, his faith grew in leaps and bounds. He became passionate about the healing and miracles that happen at The SCOAN and decided to visit the church.

When he visited The SCOAN, he received the Morning Water and went back home happy and convinced that God would set him free from the health burden he was carrying. As he continued to minister the Morning Water to himself with prayer and fasting, he discovered that those painful symptoms were beginning to subside. This development coincided with his company’s directive to all staff to go for medical check-ups. It was when his medical results came out that it was confirmed that his kidney problem was no more. Today, he is free from the ailment. To further confirm his healing, Mr Preye also passed out the kidney stones through urine after using water therapy as directed by the man of God. Thanking God for his healing, he advised people with similar challenges to know the truth as it would set them free.

FROM COLOSSAL DEBT TO COLOSSAL BREAKTHROUGH

Hon. Dr. Ruth Labode is a member of the Zimbabwean parliament. She is a medical doctor by profession and served her region as the first female medical director. After a while, she developed some allergies and decided to go into private business. The business however did not last too long, leaving her indebted to a local bank to the tune of over a hundred thousand US dollars. As she struggled to gather herself together, the bank came asking to recover the debt she owed. At this juncture, she became confused and harboured suicidal thoughts knowing that her only house could be confiscated by the bank and auctioned.

In a chance meeting with the chief executive of another bank, she explained her challenges to the man who afterwards intervened by paying the loan she owed the other bank and spread the repayment for her in a 10-year mortgage plan, thereby ensuring that her house was saved from being auctioned as threatened by the loaner bank. These developments came after she had ministered the Morning Water. As she continued ministering the Morning Water and praying with the Morning Sticker, Dr. Labode, who was just an ordinary nominee, went on to become a member of parliament and was eventually elected the chairperson of the Health Committee. She was also appointed into the national executive committee of her political party.

Thanking God for the legion of blessings bestowed upon her by God through the Morning Water and Morning Sticker, Dr. Labode also noted that her son received a grant he had applied for after they prayed and ministered the Morning Water. He also got a job through the same medium to the glory of God. Dr. Labode advised people to trust in God and have faith Him in whatever they do.

DELIVERED FROM VIOLENT LION SPIRIT

Ms Hannah Bazon from Sierra Leone was given a charm by her mother to use for her ‘success and protection’ yet since then, her life took a destructive turn. She became afflicted with violent spirits, including that of a lion which pushed her to do a tattoo on her hand. She suffered from severe anger and lust and was so violent to the extent that when she caught her only son stealing their neighbour’s meat, she thrust his hands up to the wrist in the flames the meat was cooking in. She would go around fighting even with men.

Members of her family would always call her to come and fight for them whenever they had quarrels with people. She lied against her stepfather, one of her greatest benefactors in order to take him out of her way because the spirit in her disliked the good works he was doing in her life. She also engaged in prostitution and had a special way of seducing men. She continued to wallow in her pitiable lifestyle until she succumbed to the power of God during Mass Prayer at The SCOAN Sunday service.

During the Mass Prayer, the demon in her spoke out as it crawled menacingly like a wild cat, confessing the many evils it had done to destroy her life and that of her son. Weeping profusely as a sign of regret for all the evil spirit had led her to do against her will, she thanked God for giving her a new beginning through deliverance and advised people, especially parents, to monitor their wards and watch the things they give to them.

MASS PRAYER EXPELS DESTRUCTIVE DOG SPIRIT

Mr Alexander Johnson, a Liberian residing in Ghana was possessed by the spirit of a bush dog which tormented his life with several other spirits, including anger, lust and poverty. According to him, the genesis of his problem is traceable to his grandfather who was very traditional in nature and who took him to so many places. He recalled one occasion when his grandfather took him to a bush where he was given something that looked like palm wine to drink. Days after that experience, he found himself sleeping with a mentally impaired woman at the tender age of six. Since then, he had been lusting after young girls and elderly women alike. He also developed the spirit of anger after he saw a dog which was unable to bite him in his dream, appear and bite him in the leg the following day.

He had fathered three children from three different women and could not cater for them because he had nothing. The dog spirit also confessed to have been responsible for his poverty. Anytime he had sexual relationship with any woman, that woman’s progress depreciated. He impregnated many women and also helped them to abort the pregnancies. In all, he had aborted about twenty pregnancies. He would later be introduced to Emmanuel TV by a friend and was shocked when a prophecy by the man of God concerning Nigeria’s qualification for the 2010 World Cup in South Africa came to pass. After that experience, he made up his mind to visit The SCOAN.

Present in the church auditorium during a Sunday service, he manifested the dog spirit when authority was taken in the name of Jesus to pull down strongholds and wicked spirits as the Mass Prayer went on. Mr Johnson was eventually delivered and is now enjoying that inner peace and freedom associated with a soul that has found rest and restoration through Christ Jesus. He advised people to run to God whenever they notice strange things in their lives as events which seem ordinary may have extraordinary effects in the spirit.

A BUNCH OF MIRACLES FOR THE KOLOS

Mrs Kolo had come to The SCOAN with the problem of severe chest pain but received an entirely different prophecy from the man of God, Prophet T.B. Joshua. Seated in the church auditorium, the man of God walked up to her and told her that there was a letter for her husband. At first she looked confused but eventually it dawned on her that the man of God was very correct with the prophetic message he had given her. Concerning her chest pain, all efforts by her husband who is a medical doctor, to treat her proved abortive as she had to be referred to a senior doctor. After several tests, nothing was found. The doctors, in their own human reasoning advised her not to get pregnant with the condition as it could threaten her life. She could not sleep at night and found it very difficult to drive. However, after her encounter with the man of God where after he had prayed for her, the pain disappeared. She now does those things she could not do before. She has even given birth to a baby girl to the glory of His name.

For Mr Kolo, the prophecy the man of God gave to his wife about a letter came to be fulfilled in multiple dimensions. Having prayed over the prophecy together with his wife amid ministration of the Morning Water, Mr Kolo received a letter after two weeks from the office of the Registrar, Bayero University Kano, confirming his promotion from the rank of Lecturer 1 to Senior Lecturer. Afterwards, he received a letter from the National Post Graduate Medical College of Nigeria appointing him as an Examiner even though he does not have the pre-requisite qualification. In the same vein, after one year, the West African College of Surgeons also appointed him as an Examiner without having the full qualification there either. In August 2015, he received another letter from the Registrar of Bayero University confirming that his papers have been submitted for consideration for promotion to the rank of Associate Professor.

Mr Kolo also received another letter from the Federal Government confirming him as one of the lucky applicants who won the YouWin grant for small scale businesses. In spite of all the challenges he encountered along the way, he was able to navigate his way out through the ministration of the Morning Water. He eventually got a letter affirming that he has been awarded a 10 million naira grant to start an ear, nose and throat clinic in Kano. Mr Kolo has dedicated his services mostly to the poor and less- privileged. He observed that his inspiration to help the poor and needy came from the counsels of the man of God who encourages people to reach out to the needy.

Finally, those who go the way of the Cross must understand that to a man of faith nothing is lacking while everything is necessary. God is concerned about you and the gracious call Christ gave to us to come to Him encourages our hope, that when we come to Him, we will receive freedom, power and grace, deliverance, healing and all of God’s blessings.
